"You got my charger honey?" Mico walked up to where Bunnie was sitting, packing her notebooks in her tote bag. "Don't call me that." Bunnie scrunches her face looking up at Mico, her longtime best friend, "I don't, it's in my room."

Mico leaned against the desk behind him crossing his arms, watching as she finished putting her stuff away. "Who are we meeting up with?" He spoke as she finished, both of them exiting the classroom.

"His name is Connie, I told him we'd meet him at the spot where his friends are because I wanna talk to the professor real quick."

"Also, we gotta stop at robotics classroom right now, I need to check something." Mico sighed running his hand through his hair. "Nerd." Bunnie smirks nudging him on his arm, "You've been working on that robot for months, I see grey hairs already."

Bunnie pulls out a single paper and walks up to the professor while Mico walks behind her.

"Y/n? You finished it already?" Professor Hange asked shockingly, "Yes I was hoping you could look it over and mark down whatever improvements I can do and all that jazz."

"I'm sure it'll be great, I'll email you later this week. Mico, how's the coding going." She looked at the boy standing sluggishly behind Bunnie. "Hange that shit sucks when I'm doing it and sucks when I'm not doing it. I'm about to go check it right now to see if I can get it to download." (Authors note: I don't know shit about robotics or coding so google will be my best friend)

Hange chuckles leaning back in her chair, "I'm sure it'll be amazing. Alright I only have a few moments before my next class, see you guys later."

They waved bye and walk out the classroom talking about random stuff as they headed to the robotics room. Before Mico opened the door he looks at Bunnie, "Remember don't touch shit, and keep-"

"Yea yea yea keep my water away from your robots." Bunnie rolls her eyes playfully as they enter the room. Mico was very much a robotics goof. He has a real passion for robotics, engineering, coding, etc.

The late nights Mico would sleepover at Bunnie's dorm (his excuse, her bed is more comfy, real reason, that's his bestie) and stay up all night working on whatever codings he needed to get done while she would yap or sleep.

Bunnie watched as Mico walked over to a his recent project and typed a few things on the computer. He was very strict about the rules he has for the room. No food or drinks near the robo- well everything really. She looked at her phone after hearing it go off

conniesocool: heyyy you still coming?

y/nswrld: yuuhhh, just with my hb, we finna be there soon

conniesocool: ok, you got classes soon? we gonna get some food when you get here

y/nswrld: nah this was our only class today, we won't be long

"Alright, everything is downloading, ima see if one of the guys can check it out later. That shit finna take at least 6 hours." Mico said sending a quick text and typing back on the computer.

"When's the competition?" Bunnie ask slipping her phone in her pocket watching him finish up on the computer.

"End of the month, so like 15-20 more days." Mico answered taking a picture of the screen. He walked towards Bunnie as they left the classroom.

"Should I make another sign?" Bunnie joked at the first and last time she ever made a sign to show her support for Mico, he immediately shut that shit down since it said 'Go Daddy!'

"Hell no man, and if you do ima tell security to remove your small ass." He laughed as they walked, him mainly following Bunnie to wherever they were going.

"Why would you put go daddy, you got daddy issues fr."

She rolled her eyes, "You should really be thanking me because I was the only loud one there and cheering for your team."

"Shuddddduup."

"Next time I'll bring tomatoes."

"I'll actually catch a charge if you throw tomatoes at my work."

"Yea wha-ohh look that's him." Bunnie hits his arm softly when she saw Connie sitting on the table with two other people, one guy and a girl. Connie noticed Bunnie and smirked, holding his hand up. The both of them approach the table, "Hey." Bunnie says to Connie with a small smile.

"Hey mami." He smiles hopping off the table, "Guys this is Y/N or Bunnie, she prefers to be called and her friend..."

"Mico." Mico finished hearing Connie linger off. "Bunnie, Mico, this is Jean, and Sasha, one is my favorite person in the world and the other is an absolute pain in my ass." Connie laughed.

"I fucking love your hair." Sasha said smiling, "and I'm obviously his favorite person."

"Thank you, your fit is cool shit too." Bunnie smiles, "I've seen you before." Jean comments looking at Mico.

"Yea? Lemme guess, in your mom's phone. " Mico jokes. Bunnie and Sasha laughs while Connie goes on to be an instigator. "Nah I'm kidding," Mico chuckles. "Yeaaa you better be." Jean sends a harmless glare his way.

"I'm still curious where you think you know my friend from." Bunnie asked raising a brow, "you got other friends I don't know about?" She looked at Mico.

"Now you know damn wel-"

"You do computer science?" Jean interrupted asking Mico, "nahh close, robotics but it kinda dabbles in to all of that." Mico answered swaying side to side.

"You know Armin? He's in one of those classes." Jean replied watching him.

"Honestly, no, though I will say I heard of him. I know he comes down to help with the coding for other teams but I pretty much do that stuff for my team so." Mico said.

"Blah blah Let's go get some food, my stomach is so empty." Sasha groans dramatically slumping her body on jeans side. "Sasha you're just big." Connie snickered as the three grabbed their stuff.

"Where are we eating at?" Mico asked following them, "The best pizza place ever, I'll drive." Jean turned his head to look at the two. Bunnie shrugged and followed suit, Mico right beside her.

"Yo?" Sasha answered her ringing phone, "yea we heading there right now...... You know what I want, stop playing dumb.....mkayyy bye see you sexy."

"Annie said they are waiting for us and to hurry up." Sasha announced while they wait for Jean to open his car door.

"There's more people? I should've smoked first." Bunnie sighed. "No way you smoke?" Connie asked looking at her as they got in the car. Jean and Connie in the front and Sasha, Bunnie, and Mico in the back. "Not often." Bunnie responds as she leans on Mico's shoulder

"Your fucking lying." Mico snorts knowing she smokes a lot. It's not too much but it's definitely often. "I'll kill you, and kiss you after shut up." Bunnie pinches his arm.

Mico winces at the kiss part, ew, "I'd probably die twice."

"Anyways, yea we smoke, I actually have a few blunts rolled up in my dorm waiting for me." She smiled remembering. "For me too." Mico adds nodding his head as well causing Bunnie to roll her eyes.

"You guys should come to this kick back later on today. I can text you." Sasha says from beside Bunnie. "Who's all gonna be there and whats your number?" Bunnie pulls out her phone.

New contact: Sasha 😘

"It's just gonna be a few friends of all of us. And a few of their friends. The people you are about to meet are gonna be there. They're all chill people." Connie answers while changing the song that was playing.

"I should make a group chat." Sasha thinks before making the group chat of her Connie, Jean and Bunnie. Bunnie adds Mico to the chat.

"We are here at last." Jean says parking his car and turning it off, "be prepared to be mind blown from this pizza."

"I'm holding you to it, I don't play about my pizza." Mico says.

"Okay dominos." Bunnie teased as everyone laughed softly.

"Hey over here." Annie yelled as she seen Sasha, Connie, Jean, and two new people. The group made their way to the booth. "Hey girl." Sasha said giving Annie a hug then sitting down. "New people?" Ymir commented sounding closed off.

"Cool people, this is Bunnie and Mico." Connie said sitting down next to sasha. "Hey." Bunnie says, "Whats up bear." Mico says giving him a handshake, "Mico, good to see you." Bear smiled.

Everyone takes their seats, "I see you know bertolt already." Jean says, "that's his sister ymir, then Reiner and Annie."

"Historia should be here soon too." Ymir speaks putting her phone down. "How do you guys know each other though." She looks at Bear and Mico.

"Music class." They both say at the same time then look at each other and laugh. "He's crazy on the bass too." Bear adds. "Ahhh not too much on me." Mico leans back into the chair shaking his head, "I haven't been playing lately."

"What about you, what do you do?" Ymir looks at Bunnie. "Film and screenwriting."

"Ohh you make movies?" Sasha asked her eyes widening. "Soon, right now we are just going through scripting and shit. But we do have a short film assignment coming up." (Authors note: I don't know anything about what they do in those classes so please😅)

"Let us act for you." Connie says. "It's you signing us up for shit." Jean rolls his eyes with a smile.

"Bunnie does that to me all that time," Mico laughs. "I'd be down, the camera loves me." Ymir smirks leaning forward. "Yea no me too, just no crazy shit." Reiner agrees.

"Bet, I'll keep that in mind. You guys got insta?" Bunnie asked. They 4 of them nodded and they swapped instagrams.

"I only follow back my girl, so I won't follow back if you don't mind that." Ymir tells Mico and Bunnie.

"Need that." Bunnie sighs leaning her head on her hand, "I wish someone would do that for me."

"I can." Connie smirks, "boy I can tell by your page itself you're a whore, no offense." Bunnie and some others laugh.

"You'd be surprised how many bitches try to come up to me thinking I'm fucking with him, that shit is actually disgusting. He's like my twin for real." Sasha laughs.

"Hey guys sorry I'm late." A blonde girl comes up to the table and sits by ymir, "oh hi?" She looks at Bunnie and Mico.

"Hey baby, you're all good." Ymir says wrapping her arm around her waist.

"That's Ymir's girlfriend, Historia. Historia, Mico and Bunnie." Bear says. "Hi, your outfit is so pretty." Bunnie says with a smile.

"Thanks, I like yours too." Historia smiles back and her and Mico.

"The FOOD, finally." Sasha exclaims excitedly. The waitress brings 3 pizzas, 2 pastas, a bowl of deep dish pasta, and a plate of wings and fries. "Looks like I came just in time." Historia smiles.

"This looks good as fuck." Mico looks at Jean, "told ya."

Everyone begins to eat and talk occasionally. Sasha was too busy stuffing her face alongside Connie.

"Dayum girl you can eat for real." Bunnie laughs taking another bite.

"The best way to her heart is food." Jean shrugs as he eats is own plate of food.

"This pizza is so good." Mico groans taking another bite. They continue to eat and talk amongst each other.

"Which side of the dorms you guys stay at?" Jean asked as Mico closed the back door.

"East but towards the back." Bunnie answered leaning her head back as she sat in the middle. "I'm in that area too, we should chill sometimes." Sasha told her then proceeded to drink her soda she got from the pizza place.

"Come over now, we can smoke." Bunnie shrugged. Jean pulled out the parking lot and headed towards the dormitory.

"I'll drop you guys off, I gotta go run some errands." Jean spoke as he turned the corner. "What kinda errands?" Connie questioned in a teasing way. "The kind that's not your damn business." Jean laughed softly. "Sounds like he about to go fuck." Mico commented and sasha snickered, "yea he definitely is."

"My problem is I'm nosey and wanna know who." Bunnie questioned curiously.

"Yea me too, you've been running 'errands' for like two weeks," Connie added poking his arm.

Jean rolled his eyes as he pulled into the east side dorms and drove slower towards the backside, "it's not either if you guy's business....and I never said that."

"I thought we was friends." Mico exclaimed jokingly.

"Bro we literally just met today." Jean laughed.

"Are you saying we aren't cool enough to be friends?" Bunnie raised a brow.

"Nah you guys definitely are," Jean laughed as his car came to a slow stop, "but get the fuck out, I got business to handle."

Connie dapped up Jean and Sasha slapped his head as they said bye. Bunnie and Mico waved bye and they all got out the car watching as he drove away faster.

"He's definitely on the way to go get his dick wet." Bunnie laughed before turning towards the entrance. The other followed suit, Mico walking faster to open the door.

"Thanks daddy." Bunnie winked at him playfully and Mico flinching externally, "please stop."

"Daddy is crazy." Connie said amused, "that's yo man?"

"Hell nah, I do not swing that way," Mico laughed. "Oh my gosh I would've never guessed." Sasha said shockingly, holding a small smile on her face.

"What can I say," Mico shrugged nonchalantly, "that's just me."

"Shut up Dominic." Bunnie snorts as she walks up the stairs, the others following behind.

"Y/n don't full name me." Mico scrunched his face at her.

They eventually make it to the floor Bunnies room is in, "my room may or may not be a mess so bew-"

"Girl open the damn door so I can go use the bathroom." Mico interrupts impatiently waiting. "I'll actually drag you down this hall." Bunnie glares at him while opening the door.

"It's not too bad." Sasha says as they walk inside, "my room is worse trust me, plus i love the decorations. And you don't have a roommate, lucky as fuck."

"Thank you thank you. And unfortunately, I do have a roommate, Mico like to come here all the time." Bunnie laughs taking off her boots.

Mico emerges from the bathroom and sits on the mini sofa, pulling out the ashtray from the small coffee table.

"Damn can I light it?" Bunnie dramatically asked sitting next to him.

"Nah remember what I said, I'm smoking your shit."

Connie and Sasha come sit down as well and Mico lights the blunt. "Music?" Mico asked as he takes a hit.

"Only if you play your newest song." Bunnie says tucking her feet under her.

"No, I need to fix it up still."

"I wanna hear it." Sasha says, "yea me too." Connie agrees.

"Fine." Mico said passing the blunt to Bunnie and pulls out his phone. He hooks it up to the speaker and plays his track.

Bunnie hits the blunt, inhaling the smoke for a few seconds and holding it in for a bit and watches as the smoke leaves her mouth, she takes a few more hits before ashing it and passing it off to sasha.

The music plays through the speaker starting with a soft bass and piano melody. Bunnie hums softly to the beat of the guitar stars playing.

"You play other instruments besides the bass?" Sasha asked passing the blunt to Connie. "I dabble in them but I know the bass more. Bunnie helps with some instruments too." Mico replies kicking his feet up on the coffee table.

"You should play it at this underground club called Edge. They have days where people can come up and sing or do whatever." Connie says blowing the smoke out.

"Bro tell me why we've been trying to go there, but we don't know where it's at." Bunnie shot up looking at Connie.

"Or you don't know the right people. We go there all the time." Connie smirked hitting the blunt once more and passing it back to Mico.

"Next time you go, take us." Bunnie eyeballed Connie as he blew the smoke out, sucking it back in through his nose, "sure."

"So you guys coming to the kickback?" Sasha questions, "also I am hungry, I'm gonna raid your mini fridge."

"It's probably empty, I haven't gone to get food this week." Bunnie says watching as sasha got up and opened the mini fridge, "and yea I guess we can slide. Help me pick out an outfit?"

"Hell yeah." Sasha says pulling out a popsicle and turning back to Bunnie. Mico passes the blunt to Bunnie before she gets up and walks to the side of the room where her clothes were, sasha following.

The boys watch as they look for clothes, making a mess on her bed. "Gosh finding an outfit is the worst, i might just wear sweats." Bunnie sighs handing the blunt to Sasha, "wipe your lips so you don't get my blunt wet."

Sasha did so, taking the blunt and hitting it a few times, "all of your clothes are cute as fuck, we need to go shopping together."

"When I do go shopping, most of the shirts are Mico's. Maybe some pants too." Bunnie admitted, "but I would love to go."

"YOU SHOULD WEAR THIS." Sasha exclaims pulling out a short ass skirt, Bunnie laughed, "Fuck no, I get cold too quick."

"Lying ass." Mico walked up to take the blunt from Sasha.

"Bitch fuck you," Bunnie muttered, "wait lemme wear those pants of yours I like."

"No." Mico flipped her off, "why not, you said I could." Bunnie pouted, "I have a good fit in mind."

"Because I never get my clothes back." Mico shrugged walking back to the couch. "You act like you don't know where my closet is you silly billy......please." Bunnie looks at him with pleading eyes.

"Fuck...fine." Mico shakes his head leaning back into the couch, continuing his conversation with Connie.

"It's gonna be simple but I kinda wanna skate a bit." Bunnie turns back to sasha pulling out a tank top. "You should teach me how to skate, Eren never wants to teach me because I'm too clumsy." Sasha says, "but I've gotten better."

"Eren?" Bunnie asked as she starts putting her clothes away(shoving them back in the drawers) "you'll meet him if he's at the kickback." Sasha answers handing her clothes while she finishes her popsicle. "Okay. And sure, trust me I know how hard it seems at first, Mico hated teaching me how to skate." Bunnie softly laughs remembering those days.

"Ayo sasha, we should head back to get ready." Connie tells her.

"You're right, I'll see you soon and I'll text you the details." Sasha says.

"I'm walking with you, ima go with Mico to his dorm so i can steal his pants." Bunnie says grabbing the shirt and belt she's gonna wear.

"Right." Sasha nods.

Mico puts out the blunt and they all put on their shoes and grab their things. Bunnie locks her dorm after everyone leaves. "We can walk y'all to your dorms, my dorm is the furthest." Mico says placing his hands in his front pockets.

"Which side are you on?" Sasha asked as she walks next to Connie who slings his arm over her shoulders. "West mid area." Mico simply says.

"I'm in the front of the east and Connie is front on the north side." Sasha replies.

"Damn bro you across campus basically."Connie laughs as they walked down the stairs.

"I see why his bitches think you are a couple." Bunnie chuckles holding in the railing. "Ew please don't say that." Sasha cringes pushing his arm off her.

They continue to walk to Sasha's dorm, "bye I'll see you later." Bunnie hugs sasha before she goes inside. "Bye Bunnie, we're gonna have so much fun. Bye Mico, see you soon Connie." She says before disappearing into her dorm.

"One down, one more to go." Bunnie comments as they walk towards Connie's dorm. Connie opens the building to exit the east side premises. Mico and Connie continue their conversation while Bunnie zones out walking next to Mico.

"You good honey?" Mico asked before groaning after receiving a slap in his ribs by her. "Stop calling me that."

"Fuck you honey buns." He spits out rubbing his rib. Connie laughs, "whats wrong with it?"

"He's been calling me that since the first time he watched me kill a while pack of honeybuns the first time we got high." She rolls her eyes, "and he knows I hate that nickname."

"You call me daddy knowing I don't like that shit either." Mico points out.

"How long y'all knew each other?" Connie asked looking between the both of them.

"Our parents are high school friends." Bunnie answers as they crossed the street to enter the north side dormitories. "Damn that's a long ass time. I knew sasha the longest, since like middle school. Everyone else you guys are gonna meet either highschool or from here." Connie responds walking a bit faster to hold open the door.

They walk down the hallway straight to Connie's dorm. "Right in the front." Connie says as they approach his door hearing faint sounds coming from inside.

"Seems like I was right, he is fucking." Connie shakes his head at his roommate Jean.

"Damn," Bunnie's eyes widen, "DAMN." She says louder hearing the banging go louder and faster. Mico laughs and looks at Connie, "how do you do it."

"Very loud music." Connie says before banging on the door to let Jean know he's coming in. The sounds stop shortly and another door slams closed. "coast is clear, see y'all soon." Connie said opening his room door.

"Tell Jean I need that." Bunnie jokes before Connie shakes his head no and closes his door.

"You know what you gonna wear?" Bunnie asked Mico as they exited the building and headed towards the west side dormitories.

"Kinda, you nervous?" Mico looks down at Bunnie.

"A bit but so far they all seem chill, whats the worst that can happen?" Bunnie smiles softly at Mico.

Ok I’ve been busy with family on Christmas but now I can rant about Ithaca saga song by song! Spoiler under the cut since some people might wanna avoid spoilers before the livestream :)

The Challenge: BEAUTIFUL. EXACTLY AS ID HOPED. ANNA SLAYED, I LOVE HER VOICE HOW SILKY MATURE IT IS!! AND THE BELT IN THE END?? AAAOOOUHHHH I HAVE ASCENDED!!! I also love how she’s all alone in the song, she doesn’t let us in on her plan, she doesn’t let us know the bow can only be strung by Odysseus, she talks to the suitors but never directly interacts with any. It really emphasizes how isolated she’s been all these years, without the only one she loves and matches her wit.

Hold them down: Absolute banger. I am a SUCKER for these call and response type songs especially when like the response changes a little to completely change the context of the call? DELICIOUS. This is why I love Antinuous’ songs. ITS SUCH A GOOD VILLAIN SONG ITS INTIMIDATING AND CATCHY AND ARYON’S VOCALS AHHHH I DIDNT EXPECT ANTINUOUS TO DIE RIGHT THERE

Odysseus: ODY FULLY SNAPPED. HSARDMK THE OPEN ARMS JORGE WHEN I FUCKING GET YOU JORGE- The way Odysseus’ name is chanted in the danger motif, the way you can hardly distinguish which parts are his cunning motif and which parts are the danger motif, because he is the danger now. This is what everything has been building up to, why Odysseus’ motif has the same notes as the danger motif. HE IS THE DANGER NOW. THE SUITORS POPPED OFF!! AND ATHENA’S MOTIF AND QUICK THOUGT SFX AHHHH SHES HELPING TELEMACHUS 😭😭😭😭 SHES NOW ABLE TO PERFECTLY COMPLIMENT HIS ABILITIES!!!!! I have some other predictions for the animatic of this — I BET ODYSSEUS IS GONNA BURN THE SUITORS ALIVE. That’s the really dark thing Jorge warned us about, that’s why the suitors were screaming in the end, and it fits the NLY official animatic where it looks like a crowd being burned by fire. “Covered in red” the red isn’t just blood but fire.

Ichbw: mico and Jorge absolutely COOOOOKED the EMOTION, THEY SOUND AMAZING, and their HARMONIZING WAS BEAUTIFUL CONSIDERING THIS SHOW HAVING ESTABLISHED HARMONIZING AS A WAY TO SHOW CLOSENESS!!! Ok. With that out of the way. I. *deep breath AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUCK I wanna make a separate post for this song, because HHHNNNNN ODYSSEUS ATHENA 😭😭😭 look, I’m coping really hard, trust me they hugged in the pause before ody starts singing. WYFILWMA: everything I wanted and more. I LOVE Jorge belting the second chorus instead of the soft falsetto of the first. The Ruthlessness -> thunderbringer -> NSFLY motifs when he talked about his experiences?? PENELOPE USING THE WEDDING BED TO PROVE TO ODYSSEUS THAT HES STILL HIM, INSTEAD OF LIKE THE OG WHERE IT WAS JUST A TEST??? YOU SMART BASTARD. THE JUSY A MAN REPRISE I ASCENDED AND THEIR HARMONIZING AGAIN!!!! PENELOPE’S INTENSITY, HER RESOLVE IN TELLING ODYSSEUS THAT HE WAS STILL HIM “I GUESS THAT MAKES HIM YOU” I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THEH DESERVE EACH OTHER AHHHHHH THEY AGAIN SOUNDED SPECTACULAR!

All in all, I have been emotionally devastated in more ways than one. I will be making separate posts to rant about ICHBW and another animatic live stream-specific bingo bc my old bingo was SOO OFF LMFAO

Undead Unluck ch 239 spoilers ‼️‼️

Obligatory post for the last chapter

I have many thoughts so the bullet points are back

I also find it hilarious that after I started collecting the physical volumes for the series I got most but vol 3, and I went for a drive yesterday because I was feeling bad all week and I go to the comic store and there was volume 3 (which I got obviously), the day before the series was over

Now for the feels

I randomly thought what if the series ends on August 1st 2020 and it did and it was Fuuko and Andy’s wedding

And they were late, because of course

I thought I would cry because of the feels but turns out I was laughing too much to properly cry (I cried later)

I wondered if Tozuka would do a wedding or a biopic ending (show us all the characters and tells us what happened to them) and we got both and I’m so happy

I was picturing different endings (as in last final panels) for some characters but I can draw them later, for now I get my wedding/biopic ending

Andy’s friends from his past in the book 🥺

Also Nico getting an idea while Ichico is giving birth why

And yes, Mico is finally here!!

And speaking of babies, I spent so much time clowning on Shen and Mui for not actually saying what their relationship was (as in if they were a formal couple or just a situationship) but now they have twins? They worked fast

And I love how most of them have their businesses and that for the most part they all stayed together (Victor with Void and Julia, Andy with Rip and Nico, Fuuko and Gina, Billy and Tella, Top and Haruka, Chikara and Tatiana, etc)

Also Ichico Vorgeil, Latla Tristan, Leila Tristan, my heart

I actually want to give a shout out to Rip, Latla and Leila. Polygamy in real life is a no for me, but in fiction I think I’m more open to them because of these three. Elusive Samurai (especially after this week’s chapter oddly enough) and Witch Watch will probably go that route, and I’m curious to see what happens next

Julia is looking more like Juiz now (also her throwing shade at Victor, they’re gonna be the next married couple I swear)

I’ll be the one wearing the pants in the relationship, my OTP ladies and gentlemen

Actually, I think Fuuko and Andy are the only main couple from any Jump series I’ve read that actually, unambiguously got together in the end, wedding and all

Because Senku and Kohaku had the tension but nothing happened, Izuku and Ochako we only got the start of their romantic relationship, Yuta and Maki was heavily implied but not outright confirmed and I don’t want to talk about Sket Dance 😒

Fuuko and Andy got their happy ending, I think they might be one of the best romances I’ve read in manga, which is impressive considering shonen (especially from Jump) have a reputation with their romantic subplots

I just love them so much, and I will miss Undead Unluck so much

And it will definitely join Attack on Titan and Dr Stone in the list of series that have left a void after they ended

At least we still have the anime (and I hope they adapt everything), and maybe some volume extras one can dream

Lastly obligatory fuck you Disney for taking the rights, don’t meddle in things you don’t know if you’re not gonna market them like they deserve, you should’ve let Crunchyroll take it

Overall, I adored it, it was wicked sick 💙🩷

SO WHY'S IT FEEL SO BAD?

You smile as you watch Semi on stage from the screen, his smile reminiscent of when you were his only audience. Then again, it was your fault for telling him he should post his songs online.

Things were simpler then. You grinned as the incoming call screen flashed on your phone, picking up as you paused the video playing on your laptop

"What's up, Yin?"

There he is.

"Hey, superstar." You said. Even hearing his soft breaths through the speaker had you breathing easier.

Wow, who knew you'd gotten to *that* stage in this silly little crush of yours.

"How's the tour going?" You asked, and he perked up a little.

"It's great! We're in the home stretch. Only two more shows before I'm back home." He said, his smooth voice making you feel something akin to homesickness.

"I wish I could be there. Make sure to take lots of pictures, okay?"

"None of my pictures would be as good as yours." He said with a laugh that had me melting.

"No way, you're a multitalented guy, just pretend that you're taking a selfie." I said wisely, while he laughed.

"You say that like I'm good at selfies." He said. I snorted. We both know selfies aren't exactly his strong suit. I'd still give anything for a selfie though.

"You're photogenic though. Lots of your fans are taking pictures and videos." You know he's having fun engaging with his audience. "You've got some other dedicated fans, Semi-Semi." he sighed as you laughed, knowing he was absolutely sick of that nickname.

"Just because I'm photogenic doesn't mean I can take pictures like you can." He pointed out, and I sighed.

"Whatever you say."

Days later, your phone buzzed, and your heart skipped when you saw Semi had sent you pictures. Lots of them. You smiled at each one. before your phone buzzed with texts.

Figured you'd want these.

For once, you were relived he wasn't calling you. He'd never let you live down crying over a few blurry pictures and three selfies.

You instead sat at your desk, editing a photo you'd need to send to your boss in a few hours. The ghost of a smile tugged at your lips as you glanced at the grey, faded beanbag chair your best friend had always sat in. Eventually he'd get bored and move to the desk next to me, tapping on the legs of it while he watched me edit. I missed that sound.

Stay strong. Just two more shows.

After multiple failed attempts to stay focused, I pulled up another tab, clicking my way to Spotify and letting my favorite voice fill the room. I hummed along, a sad smile tugging at my lips.

I knew one stream didn't matter among thousands of other.

I knew my one like didn't count for anything amongst millions of others.

But he was my best friend, so it has to count for something... right?

I just want you to come home.

Semi looked down hopefully at the typing bubble on his screen, before his shoulders fell, eyes watching the bubble pop before his eyes. He sighed. He missed Yin. She was his best friend. But he's living his dream. Nearly sold-out concerts, people listening to his music? It was what he'd always dreamed of. Yin had always been more of a homebody though, only really stepping outside when the lighting was right.

Semi had been the more adventurous of the two, though not always by choice. After he'd finished high school, the two had moved in together, figuring it was way more cost-effective. Now he was playing and singing to sold-out crowds.

But it all felt wrong without Yin, like trying to fit a puzzle piece where it wasn't supposed to be. It helped knowing she was listening somewhere out there, knowing that she would still be there- she was practically woven into the melodies in the songs he wrote- but he still wished he could find her in the sea of fans at his concerts. Wished that she'd be there to find him after the show.

Did that make him hopeless?

Maybe.

He shook his head.

I need some sleep. He sighed internally, curling up in his hotel bedsheets. While the sheets were warm and soft around him, what helped him get to sleep were thoughts of Yin's gentle fingers running through his hair.

I’d Stay - Chapter 1

A Shadowpeach multi-chapter fic

Story below the cut!

Authors notes:

This is a band AU! So original of me, right? Ive been listening to MICO’s music and i can’t ignore the inspiration im getting to write, and this idea just came to me when listening to Homesick. The draft was a mess because i started writing without any concrete planned ideas, but thats okay. If this does well, I’ll post a detailed enough explanation of some of the background information.

Only things that really matter in this chapter is that Macaque is in a band, Destined Genesis, with “Lady” (LBD) and Mayorn (the Mayor). I did some fiddling with names and Aliases to make some names make more sense, which they aren’t so different but i wanted to clarify.

Unfortunately I didn’t have this beta-read, cause none of my friends are into LMK, so i guess I’ll have to look for someone to later on. Anyways love yall! Thanks for the support on my other fics <3

The neon lights on signs still bothered him. Be it too bright or in the way of the view, he just didn’t like them. Teal was blinding, but orange was just infuriating. And then there were the sounds of the city….

His ears ached. The cars were too loud outside, people were talking too loud, he needed an out. Even with his headphones on, as good at canceling noise as they were, he could still hear Lady’s shrill cackles from across the table loud and clear. Gritting his teeth, he tries to focus on the empty table in front of him. Bai’He sits to his left, arms crossed across her chest defensively. He can only feel worse, a heavy weight of worry, once he looks up, Lady throwing glares like knives at them both all while trying to carry conversation.

The people who had been so intent on interviewing them lost interest in him almost an hour ago now, and Macaque intended to keep it that way. Poor Bai’he seemed so tired, sitting next to him with heavy eyes, trying so hard to keep from nodding off. He didn’t blame her though, it was already late into the night, and she had school earlier that day. She must be exhausted..

His tail flicks beneath the table, tapping her foot lightly. She startles, looking over to him in a daze. Macaque frowns, looking to his shoulder and nodding to it, then back to her. It took a moment or so for her to process, but she gratefully took the offer, leaning over to rest her temple against his shoulder. At first, he had to keep his back straight as a board, worried he might disturb her if not, but eventually he let himself relax against the booth’s backboard.

The person who had been asking Lady questions was quick to take note, adjusting in her seat to look at him directly. “Macaque, who is this?” They glance at Bai’he with a smile that seemed too condescending for his liking.

“Oh, don’t mind her.” Lady cuts in, before Macaque could even open his mouth to speak. “Just my younger sister. Pay her no mind.” Macaque wants to scoff, scowl, something, watching Lady rest her chin on her folded hands across the table. Mayorn mutters something to her, which she turns her head to look at him, which he only shrugs when she whispers something in return.

“She’s never been mentioned before, has she?” The journalist looks down to their notes frantically, readying their pen. “How long has she been with the band?”

“She isn’t.” Macaque answers, snipped and direct. His phone buzzes against his leg, he has to push the urge to check it away. Not now. Not the time…

Adjusting their hand a few times, the journalist clears their throat and goes to ask another question.

“I believe we’ve concluded this interview.” Mayorn interrupts, offering them a pointed smile, standing from his seat to offer them a hand. They stand as well, giving him a rattled handshake with a flustered expression. Lady stands to offer them a hand as well, while Macaque makes no effort to move, too focused on his phone practically burning a hole in his pocket, only nodding to the Journalist.

They leave in a hurry, clearly confused by the abrupt end to the conversation. Lady recovers nigh instantly, turning to look at Macaque with a narrowed glare. “Tell me, just what is more important to you right now?”

“What?”

“Was your inability to focus on the task at hand purely accidental or was it a pointless act of rebellion?” Macaque tries to keep from shifting in his seat uncomfortably under Lady’s glare, lest he disturb Bai’he, who seemed to have drifted off to sleep the moment her head hit his shoulder. “You do understand your behavior, your petulance, is reflective of us as a whole, yes? If that interview ruins our debut, I will hold you solely responsible.”

Breathing through his nose, Macaque scoffs. “I told—” Bai’he shifts by his side, he stills. Too loud. “I told you I wanted nothing to do with the press. You know that, Mayorn knows that, my agent knows that and has reminded you repeatedly. This is on you.” Macaque spat, pointing a finger at her defensively.

“Need I remind you, the–”

“Our transportation is here.” Mayorn cuts in, raising his head from his phone to look between the two, well, three counting Bai’he. Right. Time to leave.

Shaking Bai’he awake, Macaque goes to stand. His phone buzzes again. Knowing just who it might be, it would only continue until he either looked at it or responded. The latter was unfortunately likely.

Stepping out of the restaurant finally was like a breath of fresh air, besides actually getting a breath of fresh air. The passing cars were still loud, but anything was better than hearing Lady prattle on about how he embarrassed her in too many ways for her to stand. The black cars wait outside, prepared to take them back home. Macaque piles into the back, finding Bai’he at his side again, groggily tugging at her seatbelt to click it in place before resting her head on the window and yawning.

There are two more buzzes, in quick succession, that come from his phone before he annoyedly fishes it from the pocket of his jeans. The screen lights up, illuminating his face and displaying 3 texts and 1 missed call, which had gone to voicemail since his notifications had been silenced almost all day.

He doesn’t have to wait for long before another text comes through.

Biting back a groan, he types out a response before shutting his phone off for the rest of the drive home.

“It’s so bad. You’ve gotta believe me.”

“Oh trust me, I believe you. Your doomscrolling habit is catastrophic.”

The voice on the other end laughs, its soft and muffled, but it brings a smile to Macaque’s face.

“Wait, are you smiling? Mihou move the phone! I want to see!!”

Macaque’s brows furrowed. “Nuh uh.”

“Oh come on! Please? Cause I’m your favorite and you love me so so much?”

He did. He did love him, more than anything really, but admittance would get him nowhere. “No.” His phone stays at an angle, only showing half of his face.

“You hate me! You want me dead!”

“Oh quit whining. You’re fine.”

They settle into a gentle silence, Macaque can practically hear the pout through the phone and the eyes on him. He can’t help but chuckle. They call every night, the behavior is typical, but expected and a loved trait.

“When are you coming back?”

The question is welcome. “I was thinking of one of the weekends this month.”
