more Monoma headcanons, but specifically post-final battle

after the war, Monoma's classmates occasionally notice him staring for long stretches without blinking. sometimes, he's doing it on purpose - practice for if he's ever tagged into a conflict with Erasure again. other times, he doesn't even realize he's doing it - it's simply a reflex after spending hours during the final battle knowing that, if he blinked, millions would die.

Monoma is actually called in to help Aizawa with Erasure periodically as is, so he also starts carrying around some eyedrops. (they have come in handy much more often than you'd think)

during his second year at UA, Monoma is "heavily encouraged" to leave class early on Mondays and Thursdays so that he can speak to Hound Dog. he doesn't take the opportunity very often - he prefers setting up appointments discretely, before or after formal school hours - but there have been a few times where he's had to duck out.

Monoma was virtually blind for the first few weeks following the final battle due to (1) overuse of Erasure, and (2) the fact that he stared directly at a ton of flashing lights; his sight has mostly recovered, but he now requires a low prescription pair of glasses or contacts when at school or doing hero work.

Copy was also stunted for a few weeks after the war (i.e. Monoma could only copy quirks if he maintained constant contact with his target), but once it recovered, his copying time went up to 15 minutes. (he figures that the mass amount of stress forced the mini power-up, but he hasn't looked into it too hard.)

Monoma's immediate priority once he returns to training is to start working on the ability to use two quirks at once. this is largely because he believes that, had he been able to erase Shigaraki's quirks and open a portal for Midoriya at the same time, he may have been able to prevent a lot of the carnage that he witnessed.

sometimes, when he gets the inexplicable urge to check that Bakugo is actually alive, Monoma will demand to copy Explosion and then grab onto Bakugo's wrist so he can check his pulse; Bakugo knows damn well what Monoma is doing, but he tolerates it because Aizawa told him how badly his death fucked with the copycat.

Seven Days of Sin Event (Obey Me)

An event I'll be running (Not taking requests as I've prepared the writing beforehand) This is my very public launching into writing for the Obey Me Fandom. (I'm loading myself into a canon here and firing away into the OM tag.)

I've been playing the Obey Me game since the day of release, same with Nightbringer. I've always loved the characters but felt my writing was inadequate, however I am going to be adding my little contributions to the growing Fandom. (Honestly love to see the flames of revival. Not to mention all my IRL friends I've roped into playing it.)

A summary of this event. As the name states, for seven days I will be posting for each of the seven brothers on their designated days (Will be explained in the program.)

After those seven days, I will post for an additional few days to cover the other characters.

The Galaxia emblem on his chest is fused to his skin. He got it when he became Galaxia’s Champion. This event also gave him the yellow details and eyes (prior he had white eyes)

Galaxia manifests herself via energy during battle. Ex. The mini sword on Meta’s tail can lengthen and become a proper sword, and he can get like energy claws

Yeah he has a magical girl transformation to put all his armor on. Ain’t no way he’s putting all of that on as a dragon. Thanks Galaxia! He can take his mask off himself though

The Dimensional Cape is now… DIMENSIONAL WINGS! They can be activated for storage or teleportation. Prior to acquiring the cape, his wings were smaller and he didn’t have the yellow accent on his wings

Puffballs (Astrals, puffs, whatever you call Kirby’s species) gradually grow to look similar to the people they surround themselves with. While Meta is old enough that being around his friends won’t significantly change his appearance (such as going from fur to feathers) his fur length and color does change due to being around his friends :)

Along this same vein, Galaxia and the dimensional cape can be seen as copy-ability… like? Except unlike Kirby, these items can’t be spat back out. They’ve become a part of him

He is a bat/cat combo. To me. Sleeps upside down, purrs, etc.

Yes he has whiskers. Yes he wears a mask all of the time. Yes the whiskers being constantly against the mask overstimulates the FUCK outta him. He’s so ready to snap at any moment

He can see in the dark! He also has such bright eye-shine in the dark that his eyes just look pure white

I feel like Simon would 100% understand if you told him you had anxiety or depression. He wouldn't be the best at dealing with it but by gods he would do his best to help you with your problems! Like truly he would!

Say idk your room in your apartment is just... really bad. You havent left in ages, and you stopped texting Simon? He's there in an instant. Once he realises your super depressed hes like "alright luv lets get started" and he's helping you clean, wash your clothes, ect.

If you can't find the energy to shower he's drawing a bath and helping you slowly strip off your clothes. He slips you into a nice warm bubble bath and either slips in with you or helps wash you from outside of the bath. He cleans your skin and then does your hair for you making sure to wash it without getting soap in your eyes. He might blow bubbles at you to make you laugh.

If you can't cook or something and maybe don't have the energy, he makes meal plans on sundays, so he starts including you. So when he cooks ahead for the week, he also cooks stuff he knows is your favorite meals and then drops them off on monday.

Would definately invite the 114 over for a little suprise day spoiling you, expecially if he knows being around people helps you. He will plan a movie night and invite you over, and you walk in and all the boys are just sitting there eating popcorn and movie snacks. As soon as they see you its just a huge dog pile of hugs (they almost knock you over)

If your anxious in public he will gladly hold your hand and do all the talking for you. You don't want to order because your stomach is in way too many knots? He already knows what you like and he will order it for you.

Most dates he will try to keep at home if he knows that your anxious in public. You want to see a brand new movie but don't want to go to the movie theater? He texts you to come over one night and he has practically made his living room a movie theatre. Lots of blankets, snacks, pillows for a pillow fort, and a little basket for each of you.

If you have relationship anxiety he is definitely reassuring you all the time. its almost like he knows what youre thinking before you say it out loud? (I swear he's a mind reader) He can tell by your tells when your anxious and he's calming you down already.

If you have anxiety attacks? He's comforting you instantly pulling every coping skill he can out of the book. He is putting loop earbuds in your ears and then breathing with you. Having you name the 54321 thing, and everything. Even has a little sensory/anxiety kit ready for you on the go in his car. He is no stranger to anxiety.

Paw Patrol Appreciation Week 2024

Monday - The Beginning

Now about Zuma!! As headcanons instead of a mini fanfic this time XD Also 30 minutes late in my own timezone but who cares lmao

-> Zuma was born along with 4 other siblings. They were 3 females and 2 males total. Their mother was owned by a nice middle aged man who had a surfing school by the beach. She used to be always there with him, and so did the puppies. All the students loved their company and played with them.

-> Zuma was always fascinated by the sea and learned to swim and to surf pretty fast. Soon he was a big local sensation, attracting people from everywhere to go see him surfing.

-> Unfortunately, things weren't going so well for the school, and the surfer couldn't keep them all for too long. He didn't want them to suffer or be hungry when he couldn't afford any more dog food, so, as soon as they reached a reasonable age, he put them up for adoption.

-> Several people ignored the other puppies and wanted to adopt specifically Zuma, due to being impressed by his skills and playfulness, but the man rejected all offers so far. He knew Zuma had to go, but he wanted to be sure his good boy would have an actual good new home, with people who knew how to care for him and would be able to help him continue developing his skills, in a place where he could keep doing what he loved the most.

-> One day, during a surf lesson, one of the kids ended up dragged by a stronger sea current and was unable to paddle back to shore. As a matter of coincidence, Ryder was there with his puppies, on a holiday trip. They were still figuring out how to help without being dragged by the current too, when they saw Zuma grabbing his surfboard and jumping in the water.

-> Zuma succesfully brought the kid back to shore, under applauses of the people on the beach. Ryder and his pups were impressed and congratulated Zuma on his rescue. As they were talking to Zuma, Ryder overheard the surf teacher declining yet another offer to adopt the pup, as he asked for pictures of the person's house and saw it didn't even have a backyard and was away from the beach. "You see, Zuma is special. He is a beach pup, he can't live confined to a small house and away from the sea. I'm sorry."

-> Zuma told Ryder about their situation, and why his owner was worried about who would get to adopt him. In turn, Ryder asked Zuma if he would like to go with him and become a member of the Paw Patrol. "We don't have anyone specialized in aquatic rescues yet." Zuma loved the idea and both went to check with his owner. As Ryder explained everything, he also made a deal. "I'll take Zuma with me, but you won't close your surfing school. I'll fund it and we'll make it better so you can keep teaching and keep Zuma's family with you, I know they'll be happy to stay with you."

-> After some talk and negotiations, the deal was made and Zuma moved to go live with Ryder in Adventure Bay. Since then, he goes over to visit and spend a week with his family once every six months.

While I haven't hit rock bottom, I've been getting some symptoms of burnout recently and I'd like to avoid completely running myself into the ground XD

This blog has really pushed me to see what kind of creativity I have, especially just how much work I'm able to produce and sustain. I thought I'd get tired and burn out at two months tops, and it's been over and year and I have no immediate plans to stop! However, taking a look at my own system right now, I do think I need to slow down.

To be honest, fanwork isn't something I've been doing a long time - this tumblr blog is the only fandom creative stuff I've ever done! Before that, most of the things I created were originals - music, art, and of course, writing (though I haven't touched my sketchbook/paints in forever and I haven't done any sightreading in years - whoops).

It gets hard to keep your muscles moving when you only move them in one direction. As much as I love writing headcanons for the M6 in response to people's prompts, there is so much else my mind can do that it misses having the space for. Which brings me to the reason for this schedule adjustment - I miss having that creative freedom.

I still greatly enjoy writing headcanons for you guys and participating in the fandom, and I don't plan to stop anytime soon. However, I want to take some time back to get back into frolicking in the stuff my own brain comes up with, and making space for that to grow into something real.

The questions I need to figure out now are 1) how much time is it going to take me to get my full capacity back? and 2) should I keep this as a purely Arcana blog, or expand it for all my creative work?

honestly four years is absolutely crazy for me to fathom. i can’t believe it’s been that long since i took the plunge and decided to start writing for ace attorney. it feels like just yesterday i sat down and said “yeah.. i love this silly lawyer game” and started this blog.

-> so whats going on with this blog?

well, the long and the short of it is i don’t enjoy writing anymore. every now and then i get a small desire to write, but it fades so fast. i do miss it! i miss fulfilling requests, i miss mini headcanon mondays, i miss talking with people about my favorite game of all time!

but.. i got tired of it. if you’ve ever ran a writing blog, you’ll know that you can only write so many requests before you feel like you’ve written the same thing over. and over.

don’t get me wrong, i absolutely loved every second and every thing that i wrote. i have no regrets! i just don’t have that drive that 16 y/o luna had.

uhhh graduating college! i got my degree and have been job hunting, trying to get my life started. honestly, college took up the majority of my time these past few months. and now that i’ve graduated, my life is ramping up!

so, as much as i want to write again, i just simply do not think ill have the time. its unfortunate, i know. i see all your little notes in the reblogs and i appreciate the love and support on everything ive written. i just dont think writing is in the cards for me anymore

oh, i also got a dog and named her maya. she has a burger plush that she loves :3

i’ll leave it up. i debated deleting it a few times because it occasionally brought back bad memories. but so many people still follow, like, and reblog everything that i can’t bring myself to delete it. especially with the scraps of aa content that’s already out there lmaoo (trust me i was scraping the bottom of the barrel for content when i finished soj)

will i check back in? yeah occasionally. i have been for months. i just wont write.

i’m sorry to anyone who was hoping for me to one day come back. believe me, no one wanted me to come back more than me. i miss that itch, that drive to pump out content. writing just isn’t something i’ve done for a while.

i still love ace attorney. i beat the new trilogy about a month ago now and i loved every second, despite having played all three games before lol! there’s so much charm and love to the series.

i still would love to gush and talk more about it. i’ve thought about making a twitter account several times because i can be more active on there. so if anyone is interested lemme know! i can post on there and still interact with everyone.

but as for this blog - it’s time to adjourn court!

Snowball Fight

headcanon that keigo does not like cold weather, that yeah cool air on his wings are great but ice cold about to make icicles cold? hard pass.

It was a crisp freezing cold Christmas week. Monday to be exact. Everything was covered in snow and the few brave (or stupid) souls out that afternoon were running about last minute Christmas shopping. It was this upcoming  thursday after all.

And thank whoever up there Keigo found himself off for the holidays, because he did not like the cold weather. See his wings can keep him warm but his wings themselves couldn’t take how harsh the winter air gets in the sky. So he’s been dubbed “useless unless it’s an emergency”. After all, it’s not like there’s gloves for every individual feather.

Letting out a bored sigh, he thinks about what he can do right now, not going to his apartment was one. Days off were a blessing but how empty his place was around this time made him antsy. A thought to call- no. Just pick up a bucket of chicken and go home, not think about- a dull wack to the back of his head sends him tumbling forward.

“P-pfft!! Hahahaha!!!” A familiar laugh coming from behind him. Keigo straightens turning with a fake smile. There behind him was his current avoidance. Y/n L/n, a good friend turned benefits that well…He was catching feelings for.  They started out as work buddies, Enji asking him to test a new recruit with a ‘demon’ like quirk.

And boy was he a beast. A tall 6’0, tight but soft muscles, hooded f/c eyes, and black hair styled up to reveal an undershave. Y/n’ whole look fit his sharp teeth, horned head, magic quirk. To be honest, hawks was a little bit surprised that y/n was a hero. Given he looked more on the villain side, he was surprised y/n got this far.

But after the test it didn’t take long for them to start up a casual friendship. Keigo smiled a little at the thought. Y/n was easy going and fun to be around. He didn’t expect anything from him and that just broke down a lot of the reservation keigo had. To say it took long for him to catch some type of feelings from their fuck friends arrangement, would be a fat lie.

It was fun and had him dazed easily. But it was the softness after and the hang outs that felt like dates that made him feel like he needed to run.

Which was his current problem. Having all avoided the man for a few weeks now to figure out what to do with these new emotions. Keigo felt guilty about it but well he was never taught how to handle these types of emotions…. In a good, healthy way at least.

“So much for being the quickest baby bird.” Y/n teases once he’s close enough. Snapping back to the present Keigo huffs pretending to be annoyed, his growing blush at the closeness kind of giving him away. “Mah, what has you so distracted?” Y/n asks, chuckling as Keigo gets redder. Scowling slightly, Keigo picks up a handful of snow and quickly packs it with a swing.

Y/n yelps as it hits his face. And seeing Y/n with such a surprised expression sends Keigo into a snort of laughter. Y/n blinks looking at his friend laughing up a storm, his wings drooping in the release of tension and grins. Good, he missed his idiot.

“Oh it’s on.” Y/n said, starting a mini snowball fight war, that grew as fans and kids joined in. Keigo can’t exactly say when he’s felt this light and happy (outside of learning he was gonna meet endeavor as an equal). As it got darker, things started to slow and with some pictures taken and left alone to catch their breaths.  It ended with just him and Y/n.

Let out one more breath before slinging an arm over Keigo’s shoulders, this was not where he was trying to go with looking for Keigo but- Y/n hums as Keigo presses into him freely as the wind starts to pick up. -This was perfect.

“Hey. My place?” Y/n mumbles hopefully

Suddenly Keigo couldn’t help but want to be working rather than having to answer that.  Adrenaline came back and he pulled away a bit unsure. Y/n sighs feeling the tension come back.

“What did I do?” Keigo quickly looks up at in confused “Wha-”

“Look I know when someone is avoiding me. So I’m guessing you want to break this whole arrangement off or something?” Y/n say as calmly as he could, but there was an edge of defeat in his tone. Keigo felt his wings ruffle and try to curl around the both of them. It was old, dark, and too public (they were in a park the back of his mind whispered). 

He would at least have this conversation somewhere warm and private. “Can we talk…at your place?” his eyes focused on y/n’s shoulder. “Yeah.” Y/n mumbles back, with a flick of his hand opening a portal to his living room and shuffling them in. Keigo shivers at the shift in temperatures kicking off his boots and plopping onto the couch, as y/n does the same with his shoes following after.

“Than-”

Y/n leans down pressing a kiss to keigo’s lips. Balancing himself with one hand on the couch a bit hunched over. He kept his body relaxed just in case keigo wanted to push him away. But he didn’t, instead gripping his coat and using it to tug him closer, deepening the kiss.

“I love you. I fell in love with you and I’m terrified” Keigo whispers softly, the words ringing through the nearly empty apartment. Keigo chuckles wetly as he felt himself tremble but he held on and nipped at y/n’s bottom lip. Y/n stares down at him, eyes unmoving breath escalating. 

“Heh…heheheh-” Y/n sucks in a breath as euphoria courses through him in a wave and he knocks keigo back full onto the couch kissing him recklessly. “My sweet, beautiful keigo.. I love you too. And there is nothing you need to be scared of.” Y/n whispers back at a startled keigo.

Both gave each other shaky smiles, neither able to articulate the sheer happiness they were feeling. So with another boost of adrenaline, Y/n leans down to start his journey loving every bit of Keigo freely.

-The first dad!Jin content was done about a year or two ago so let's touch back down on that in case anyone has forgotten! Again, Jin is the best dad ever on top of being the best spouse. Ever since Jun was born (or adopted), she'd had him in his corner at all times. Should she ever need anything in the world, he'll be there without question for her. She is in fact the center of his entire world...or dare I say his universe!

-On top of everything else, she's very spoiled but lacks a nasty attitude you'd expect to come along with it thankfully. He's been trying to take it down a notch for a very long time, and is just now managing to learn how to say no to her. Of course it crushes every bit of him to do so, but he knows it's important to be done occasionally. One of the things he's been wrestling with is her altering her appearance at such a young age.

-Jun has budded from a silly and curious 2 year old to an independent 4 year old with a big voice. She speaks her little mind and doesn't lack any confidence no matter the situation at hand. So that's why when she came home from school in a gloomy mood, you were admittedly both worried sick about her. With some careful prying you were able to get a good handle on what happened. There was a new little girl in her class today and supposedly the kid was very popular with the others. Her defining trait you ask? The rainbow colored dye hair.

-So with a kids this young it's understandable everyone would be excited to see hair like that. It was a long night after you'd put Jun to bed. You were the one that tried to convince Jin to let her go through with it and man was he stubborn as hell with you for the first time since dating. He was concerned about the chemicals or the dangers of doing it. On top of that, he didn't want he to lose confidence in her natural features at such a young age or become obsessed with having to change herself for the approval of others. "She doesn't need tom change her hair. It's already two toned." He referred to her natural singular blonde streak she possessed.

-After pulling out every single tactic you had to use against him (yes...that too) you were finally able to convince him to let you dye her hair. The very next day was a Saturday and the weekend. You and Jun had went to the store to find some non-toxic and kid friendly hair dye along with a few cute accessories and some new shoes too. You'd returned home and kissed Jin on the cheek as a thank you for letting you do it. He had to admit it made his heart flutter when he watched his daughter rush past him into the bathroom to eagerly go through with the process.

-When she'd emerged she seemed even more confident than ever before. He sighed a bit of relief to notice it didn't seem all that bad either. She'd chosen a half black half grey dye job because apparently it reminded her of 'daddy's mask' (which obviously made his heart swell with warmth all over again for his little girl. You'd decided Monday to let him pick her up from school so he could get whatever details on her day she would give him. It seemed to be the right choice since he'd come home smiling more widely than her. There wasn't a thing in the world that could bring him down when he knows his child is happy.

(Oh anon things are a little rough but this ask was sent in a while back so it's when we didn't know. But in case anyone else was wondering, the baby has been diagnosed with like 3 different heart deformities and will need surgery as soon as he's born. Like within the first week of birth, and has to be put on a special medication. Meanwhile, my husband and I have essentially been scheduled a crap ton of doctor appointments both in town AND and hour/and half away from home as well. I'll have to give birth in my state's main hospital instead of the one home so that means I won't be close to family. The baby will have to heal in the ICU for a month straight so I lost my opportunity at a happy pregnancy, the newborn phase, and any hope for skin to skin contact after birth. Whew what a mouthful! Anyway, I'm taking it one day at a time, and I appreciate you and anyone that checks in on me here and there!)

headcanon prompt! what type of music would they like idk

Lina is a big classical fan, she started listening to it for studying but found she adore it so she hasnt stopped. she also loves the beatles and a lot of other 70-80s music. she has almskt every beatles cd and a player as well as pretty shelves to put all her music on. she prefers physical music all the way.

Anne does not have a music taste as in she will listen to and enjoy anything and everything. she hears a song on the radio (which is always on when shes driving btw) and will listen to it on loop for three days minimum. She has all of two playlists, one of every sad song shes ever liked and one of every happy song. If she had to pick one genre she'd probably say rap or rock becuase she likes the way it sounds. prodution is much more important to her than lyrics and she is almost never without a song on, her airpods are in 24/7

Jane also really likes older music but she leans more towards the 50s to 80s. Her room is right next to Linas so she often hears the beatles through the wall which is what intitonly got her into their music. she also likes country music and unlike anne she has very neat and organised playlists, even making folders for them. She almost never uses earbuds in private and is currently on the quest to find the perfecy headphones.

Anna loves rock and metal music. Shes the lead singer and guitarist in a rock band called Queens Castle which she made with some friends senior year of highschool and they started playing at clubs and got fairly successful. She constantly gets notifications warning her that her audio is too loud, and you can usually hear her music if you get within three feet of her. she rarely ever accepts requests to turn it down.

Kitty is a pop girlie through and through. she loves taylor swift especially speak now and lover, sabrina carpenter, maisie peters, charli xcx, dua lipa, chappell roan, etc. She also adores musicals and will spend all her money any time one comes near them. She always has mini concerts in the shower and out of it, her hairbrush gets quite a lot of use as a mic. she loves coming up with cheoro for her favourite songs and takes vocal lessons every thursday and dance lessons friday and monday. shes planning to major in music and minor in theatre when she goes to college.

Cathy is incapable of focusing without music on. she likes more acoustic music as well as some taylor, specifically folklore and evermore. she also loves the crane wives and almost every one of theirs she has associated with a story shes writing. Shes always the first to join kitty for duets and she took vocal lessons up until seventh grade when the pressure got too much and she quit. she has a couple organised playlists but a lot of the time she dumps songs whereever it kinda fits. she doesnt listen to new music much, and anne constantly teases her for only knowing like three artists.

Early on in Danny’s reign, he isn’t quite accustomed to his powers and thus many hijinks/misadventures ensue. Also he pushes himself too hard and can fall into this ‘torpor-like’ state where he passes out and becomes mostly unresponsive to regain energy. The first time it happens Cori panics and refuses to let anyone else carry him back to the castle to recover, growling at anyone who comes close. The Dreaming as a whole still works, but everything ‘slows’ down and dreamkin feel kinda tired themselves.

Tons of roleplay in their more sensual scenarios, letting them both play out narratives that suit their respective fantasies and kinks.

I have tons others but I’ve clogged your asks enough right now, ahah. Of course I’d love to hear if you have anything else to add or your own headcanons!

It's so beautiful and has something almost fairytale-like to imagine the Corinthian watching over Daniel's body as he recovers his strength. The Dreaming is covered in snow, and it's cold, but not a cruel cold: it's a gentle winter that happens whenever this torpor descends on the King of Dreams. Yes, everything is slower and sleepy: Mervyn naps in a corner of the throne room instead of putting up the curtains, Lucien has to resort to his special supply of black tea to stay awake, Cain is too sleepy to inflict the punishment that Abel deserves, and Matthew plays with other ravens with snowflakes. Only the Corinthian remains alert and awake, in the farthest and most inaccessible room of the palace, and to make his Lord's rest even safer he creates a complicated tangle of corridors and rooms, and access to Dream's private chambers becomes a labyrinth of which the Nightmare alone knows the right way. No one can approach Daniel, unless the Corinthian wants to. Every time he awaits his King's awakening and does not let even light disturb his rest: silently, he gently brush Daniel's cheek with his fingers, in a caress more delicate and discreet than a whisper. In the absolute darkness of the room, the body of his beloved appears to the Corinthian as white and precious as a pearl....

....but I also imagine a more funny situation, where Daniel suddenly falls asleep in the most inaccessible and dangerous places of the kingdom, and the Corinthian punctually has to go and retrieve him amidst a thousand difficulties :D

Ohohoh, we're on the same page! One of my favorite hc's is that often in their intimacy they both like to 'pretend' to be human and that playing 'being human' is one of the things that they enjoy the most: Daniel specially creates eyes for the Corinthian for the sensual and perverse pleasure of extracting and devouring them, just as his lover taught him (which excites the Corinthian terribly, by the way). I am working on a story about this, I hope to finish soon ^^

Another thing that excites both is when between the two of them it's only Daniel who pretends to be human, almost as if they both take pleasure in a sort of reversal of roles in which it's the Corinthian, as a Nightmare, who has more power and therefore Daniel, as a 'human', finds himself at the absolute mercy of his lover. The Corinthian savors the pleasure of having total control, Daniel the pleasure of having none.
