The way Joel puffs up like a cat, face getting all red. He even stomps his foot and chases after Etho when he walks off after a particularly good jab. Don't get Etho started on how fun it is to fishing-pole Joel and drag him up a few blocks, mocking "How's the new view feel?"

Etho's favorite part is when Joel tries to "put Etho in his place", doing his best to loom as much as he can with his shorter stature. Without fail, all Etho has to do is hold Joel's chin and tilt it back that much further and the man is putty in his hands.

I've finally bought Minecraft after YEARS of wanting it and obsessing over it. Today I played the whole day, from the moment I woke up and until dinner. About 10 hours I think. I joined a random server and damn. Exploring the ruins of other players old communities and houses destroyed in some sort of "war", seeing all the weird structures that had formed from PVP and crafting tables placed in the most bizarre places... It made me so happy, my heart was racing but my head was finally free of all the racing thoughts and anxiety... I felt safe and curious and I couldn't stop giggling and I experienced that raw curiosity I used to have as a little kid and idk how to explain it but I've felt more alive than I ever did...

Anyway I think that is how love feels 🧙‍♂️

I've played admittedly not a lot of Arena. Its hard to get into due to its age 🧙‍♂️ Love Jeff Perrymans work on the game though!

I've played a good amount of Daggerfall! I played a bit of it ~13(?) years ago but it was the original version so like Arena it was super hard to both play and get into it. I was actually doing a classic "sword and board" play through via Daggerfall Unity just last year and was having fun until my saves got corrupted somehow 🥲

I actually touched Redguard for the first time this year but I'm holding off until I finish my current Morrowind playthrough 🏴‍☠️

Battlespire I've actually never touched despite owning it. Its weird because I've POURED over that games wiki and its actually my favorite old school TES game based purely on aesthetics and its designs. A full play through is on my to do list for this year!

All the old TES mobile games, shadowkey, Oblivion Mobile, etc. I have limited experience with. I've seen them IRL on friends phones back in the day but never got hands on since I actually didn't have a phone until later in Highschool. I think the internet archive has at least a few of them playable? I'd have to check, maybe it's worth checking out!

Morrowind...ahh morrowind :) its my fav TES game in terms of quests. My first play through was not a full one, it was at a friends house on the XBOX version way way back in the day. For my first REAL play through it was on my first gaming PC and I played an athletics focused halberd wielding orc who bonked people on the head 😂

Oblivion..This one PAINS me..I've only actually played though it entirely a single time and it was ages ago on the Xbox 360 and I played a...stealth archer 😵‍💫..It wasn't a meme at the time I swear! I just liked sneaking and archery! When I got it on PC, every time I tried setting it up with or without mods I had technical issues. I've mentioned it before but I absolutely loathe the bad draw distance and pop in that plagues even "ultra" settings on PC. OpenMorrowind on PC is a technical marvel. I wish they'd do something similar for Oblivion or port a stable version of Oblivion to PC. I really want to do a full playthrough again!

Skyrim. Fun fact I calculated it one time and I'm certain I collectively have 3,000+ hours in Skyrim over the past 13 years. Possibly close to 4,000 but thats from my Xbox 360 playthoughs and I don't remember the exact times for that. The base game is long worn out for me but god damn is Skyrim's modding community incredible. Thanks to mods, the game has remained fresh in various ways for the past 13 years and at this rate I'll probably add another 1k hours before TES 6 comes out 😁

ESO. I'm gonna be 100% upfront here. I got the game when it came out and had lots of issues with it. The game had a rocky start and I wasn't ever a big fan of MMOs to begin with. That said! Zenimax has done amazing things over the past 10 years and really kept that game alive with continuous improvement. I haven't kept up with it the past few years ago outside of the lore (and art) stuff but I think after I give the older TES games another go, I'll probably hop back in to ESO.

Legends. I've never played it! TBH don't like card games, Hearthestone, Gwent, etc. Legends doesn't have much going for it besides the art BUT BUT BUT...Legends art is fucking incredible 😍😍😍 Seriously, after Perhaps Skyrim's concept art, the various artists of Legends are my 2nd fav to look at. I can ignore the actual gameplay but I really wish we knew more about who actually has created all the Legends art. We only have hints such as studio names for vast portions of the art, or straight up ZERO sources for who made a lot of the core decks and original release era art. I keep my head on a swivel for that stuff because its so amazing and beautiful!

Lastly, TES Blades. I'm not a huge fan of the game since I don't like touchscreen controls (eg. I play Morrowind on my phone but with a controller). I've played a fair amount but never beat it since the controls are bleh and gameplay doesn't appeal to me a ton. Most of the stuff that interests me about blades is the armor designs and the fact it gives us a super small glimpse into the period between The Great War and Skyrim.

Lord Hater (Wander Over Yonder) vs. Vash the Stampede (Trigun 98/Trigun Maximum)

Lord Hater

- Once the most feared villain in the galaxy due to his sick lightning powers and (his second-in-command’s) military prowess, this large electrical skeleton man has been pulled away from conquering planets and into a roadrunner-&-coyote-esque series of hijinks with the protagonist Wander, who is absolutely determined to turn him into a good guy. A villain isn’t a villain without some style, and not only is his outfit red and black (he even has a sparkly version for special occasions!), but his bigger-on-the-inside skull spaceship interior, his adorable army’s uniform and weapons, and his xenomorph-spider pet are also all red and black. This guy knows how to rock an aesthetic! He’s also a loser manchild who doesn’t have a humble bone in his body, but hey, he’s working on it. (Unwillingly.)

I'm showing up some progress on the gun. Took some days working on it and still didn't come with a name to it

1. THE BEGINNING

At first, it started out as a line art of type 64 silenced pistol combined with some bits of colt 380 auto, specifically the model with polymer frame, the trigger was based on glock trigger but drawn from memory , the idea was to make a modernized take on the type 64 that looks less like the og gun and more of it's own thing similar to the Scorpion and Scorpion Evo

As you will see, it will look more different than what it started as

2. SHAPE START FORMING

Then I changed the plan where now it's based on the m9 instead of type 64, I picked up the colors randomly, and it came out looking good

3. THE BERETTAIFICTION

Now, it is just a funky M9 clone with an integral suppressor version as an alternative. I didn't feel satisfied with it, so I did more work on it

Also made this, which is basically a carbine kit based on recover tactical P-IX. This is how it looks for now. The rails and other details will be added soon.

4. UNBERETTAIFICTION

Here is where I started to change more bits of the design. The concept of the blocky slide started as a prototype with auto mod that works more like a MAC 10. Then, I changed my concept to make it work like average pistol. The reason was i didn't like the Mac 10 idea, so I changed plans. I did some stuff like painting some parts Grey to make it more distinguished and made new parts like the threaded barrel and extended mag. However, the hammer looked weird. For some reason, I was baseing it loosely on a soviet bullpup revolver that has the silhouette of a pistol. Didn't like how it came, so I made more changes.

5. THE COMPACT MODEL & THE SHADOW GOVERNMENT HANDCANON 🔥🔥💯💯🧙‍♂️🗣

So this one is basically a compact model with short barrel + slide and fix to the hammer design instead of the blocky shape and the weird hammer. Now, I reused the hammer design of the funky m9 because I felt like it would fit more, and now it worked, and that's not its final design because there is more to work on like making a frame with a small pistol grip and work on the sights

THE SHADOW GOVERNMENT HANDCANON. blessed by the dark priest and cursed by the warlock made by bones and powered by shadow magic. This cursed handgun is given as a gift for the new agent after graduating from the tournament arc and becomes a low rank member of the SHADOW GOVERNMENT 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🫡

Made this variation for fun and given it some lore . Did some design experimenting like giving it a color gradient and a skull texture on the grip. In addition, I wanted to make it look a bit retro, but then I didn't like how it came

6. SG HANDCANON DESIGN UPDATE

Basically, I detailed more bits, changing the sights , going back with a lower frame with rail, changing the colors of the pistol grip, and finally adding a compensator for less recoil

There will be more work on it, more variation will be made, and more progress will be shown
