I have drawn the Centennial Bulb, and I turned paper to leather, sort of.

In a warped sense, the texture of the image made sense though! ;-)

elkement’s drawing of the Centennial Bulb, a famous incandescent bulb shining since more than a century. Colored pencil on black toned paper, soaked in mod podge, deformed, stretched, and warped – giving it a leather-like texture. Glued to recycled wood panel. Mounting ‘cube’ from reclaimed wood.

And yes: Of course, the final result of this experiment was accidental! :-)

I'm looking at Larian's artists' official render of these three and some screenshots and photos I borrowed from some mutuals (credits to @int9 for the side profile of Raph and @deggza for the real Raphael as Haarlep mod)

As someone who specializes in drawing portraits and characters I can't help but notice some differences because when I said I obsess over every line and pore on that bastard's face, I wasn't lying

Aside from looking younger than Raphael, Haarlep's male form lacks the dorsal hump on Raphael's nose bridge, and his is straighter. Haarlep's female form on the other hand resembles Raphael's features more, but more feminine.

Both M!Haarlep and Fem!Haarlep also lack Raphael's dimple on the bulb of his nose. Fem!Haarlep still has Raphael's cleft chin, but it's less noticeable.

Maybe it's just the lighting, but M!Haarlep's facial hair is also less coarse than Raphael. His bone structure is also softer and less angular than Raphael's.

I thought green onions/Alliums were nitrogen fixers, but google is telling me no, is this true?

Unfortunately, Google is right in this case - onions/Alliums aren’t nitrogen fixers. In fact, planting them near nitrogen fixers can actually keep the nitrogen fixers from putting nitrogen back into the soil. That’s because the nitrogen-fixing process relies on a bacteria that can pull nitrogen out of a plant’s roots and into the soil, and Alliums’ mild antibacterial/antimicrobial properties kill off those bacteria. They also require a lot of nutrients in general to grow (although the root/bulb-based Alliums more so than green onions), so they’re actually likely to deplete nitrogen in the soil.

If you’re interested in learning more about nitrogen fixers, this article has a big list of nitrogen-fixing plants, and this article talks more about the science behind nitrogen fixing in general. I hope this helps!

4to2 Steampunk'd Skylar Sets

@soloriya 's Skylar and Skylar Decor sets converted to Sims 2. These were her contribution to TSR's Steampunk'd Theme.

The Skylar set includes a dining table, dining chair, bench (made from a loveseat, your Sims won't sit on it to eat unless you use a mod like Inge's ), ceiling lamp, cabinet, painting (2 subsets), curtain (with diagonal), floor lamp, and . . .

That test Sim stared at it for hours. I think she liked it.

The deco set has three candles and a table lamp that all work, a bottle, robot, octopus, airship, box, and a whale.

Let's see, what else do you need to know? I added a back face to the inside of the sphere on the ceiling lamp since it had none. I don't remember what it was originally but now it's around 1900 poly on a mesh that uses four tiles. I added a glass subset to the dining table for the glass parts. The tabletop and base are recolorable - there's only a recolor for the base. The recolors Soloriya had were mostly a change of color for the metal. I did the painting with two subsets for less recolor files. The items with fabric have a red recolor. The bulb doesn't light up on the Hand Table Lamp. Under the bulb on the table the light pattern shows up right, not sure why the bulb isn't playing along. I replaced Maxis' light bulbs from the mesh I cloned with the ones for the ceiling lamp so they are Maxis' white and act accordingly. Windows with sills that stick out will go through the curtains. I think that's it.

EA Kelp as Edible Raw Meat for Vampires (Nona Dried Food Mod REQUIRED)

If you use the Nraas Hybrid mod to make mermaid-vampire sims, it's a headache getting them to eat a effing thing that's not plasma-based. So I took EA's Kelp mesh and slapped Nona's script on it, to make it "raw food" that can fill a vampire's Thirst need. (I HIGHLY recommend also using Nona's other raw foods--there's a nice juicy fish vamps can eat, which I used in my IWTV post here.)

Severinka Hippocampus as IP EP Jetski (IP EP REQUIRED)

(The harness mesh was shamelessly ripped/reshaped from Mermaidia's Seahorse Taxi. I didn't place the handles as well as I probably should have, but oh frikkin well.) I was too lazy to make this fully recolorable (you can kinda sorta recolor it, since I put the textures in the Multiplier not the Overlay)--but it does come in 4 color variations:

TheVintageSim Fringe Hammock REDONE (Functional Loveseat)

I've been wanting this decor hammock as a functional loveseat for frikkin ever. This gameplay gave me the perfect excuse to bite the bullet and make it. The mesh is rescaled to fit EA loveseats. Fully recolorable, comes in multiple variations, like the original.

Pocci's Jellyfish

I was so jealous that Pocci remade their TS3 Jellyfish ceiling lights for TS4 without the obnoxious strings dangling from the ceiling, so I went and made their Jellyfish 01 & 02 stringless myself. Then I made the Jellyfish as a Teddy Bear. The clipping & joints aren't great, but it works and I'm tired.

Venus Girdle Inspired Table Light

It's amazing, the kind of IRL deep-sea critters you learn about, just by reading mermaid fanfiction.

Wall Mosaics 1x5

They come in a bunch of variations. Two are based on IRL portions of the Madaba Map, for no good reason, other than I just needed a medievalesque mosaic map #ForReasons.

Ivy as Ceiling Light

I made sure there were no backfaces on the ivy mesh, so you could still see inside the lot from a bird's eye view. (I used these with the TW3 Bulb Lights I converted here.)

Simszoo Tree REDONE (RECOLORABLE as Outdoor Light)

I made this tree recolorable and an outfoor light--I wish I knew how to make only the leaves glowe, not the whole frikkin trunk. Ah well.

Pocci Sakura Vase REDONE (Translucent)

All I did was change the texture of the flowers so they were crystal/see-through.

When I was a child I didn't know about burglar alarms having never seen one, so I thought they were callboxes... and this explains the reason for this cc!

This is a conversion from The Sims 3 Late Night, It has three original EA colors and everything else are textures that I recolored myself (they're not perfect, I don't know much about graphics, I'm not at all skilled at editing images but it's better than nothing!) you can delete the recolors you don't like and leave the ones you want. (By default it uses an EA color as the base, the other EA recolors have "EA" written in the name. So if you only want the EA ones delete all the recolors that don't have "EA" in the name.)

The texture isn't beautiful but that's not my fault, it was already low quality itself ;;

Everything works! Even the flashing light bulb, the special effects and the sound!

Thanks again to @jacky93sims who explained so many things to me, I'm a bit nervous because it's my first cc ;; Let me know if you find any problem!

I cleaned the cc from unnecessary things, compressed everything and added merged files if somebody want it! (Merged files are in two flavors for both custom & defaults: all colors and only EA colors). Link updated!

Lineless. Mesh. Replacer. -Chef's kiss.- Eyelids added, realistic eye size and shape, no texture distortion on eyes (even cc) or any other part of the horse, withers added, heel bulb (missing anatomy from base game hoof) added + round hooves, just about the same overall poly count with working LODS so high performance, the nose/jaw/throat latch/shoulders horsified, more realistic neck shape (Thoroughbred shown but base game sliders still effect everything for different looks!) and did I mention it just works with CC? This also won't "infect" your horse saves making it required for the horse to be loaded, so it is safe to remove or add any time. (If problems please comment or PM me, this is still a brand new mod and maybe I overlooked something.) For this mod to work you must remove any and all body/head/hoof/eyelid replacers- this includes everything as an all in one option to your horse realism problems. Sometimes LOD 1-3 show a very, very faint line but for the most part this is truly lineless. :) Download Here, early access for my members. You guys are the best. <3

I know that Chip has several mods, but are any of them (besides the override i guess) from after he joined C.O.G.S. ink?

Teeeechnically this is part of the Override, but I think it still deserves to be mentioned.

His little light system is attached to his skull, but you'd never know unless you looked under his hat. In a twisted sort of way, you can consider it a punishment he received for refusing to take his hat off- the sockets that hold the bulbs were made bigger than the holes they go through.

That aside, its a modification forced onto him in order for those "in the know" (intended to exclusively be certain individuals- Robert, Craig, the maintenance crew) to know whether or not the Override is active. The bulbs aren't the Override itself, mind you- they are only an indication and nothing else. They're a bit discomforting to touch, and breaking them is incredibly painful. At least they can be unscrewed from the sockets so he can lay on his side. ...Or to easily replace broken ones.
