(I remembered that one post about Scott flirting with the hermits and I liked it so here this is)

To say Scott was not used to this would be a severe underestimation, he was used to flirting with people and them getting flustered, not being able to process it, or maybe casually flirting back a little.

However the hermits, after his one attempt at flirting with them, were now actively chasing him around to flirt with him, he could go nowhere without being pinned to a wall with a few sultry words whispered in his ear before he managed to wiggle away with a red face.

As for the Hermits, they were really enjoying chasing him around and had more than a few bets going around about who could get Scott more flustered and who could get the colorful man in bed first.

Scott is a bit offended, honestly. Flirting is supposed to be his trick, not something used against him! It makes it so much harder to make progress on his base when he's spending half the time with a hermit at his shoulder. And Hermittopia is pretty much a no go area. Can I get some positivity for a Tony Stark and the system that he’s a part of? Tony is one of our oldest fictives (existing before we knew we were plural) and has always been a comfort character before that. However, we are also all collectively very anti-capitalist and worry that our connection to Tony Stark (a very prominent fictional billionaire) betrays those ideals. So uh. Positivity and validation on that front would be nice.

Yep, you can.

Characters are generally written to be compelling to a wide range of people, so it's normal and common that an anti-capitalist like you would enjoy the character of the fictional Tony Stark.

Having comfort characters, or liking a character in general, is not a reflection of political views - your taste in fiction does not define you, your political views, or morals. It does not matter what you enjoy fictionally as long as you treat people with respect in real life.

Also, people conflating one's plurality with one's taste in fiction (and consequently morality) is a very reductive way of viewing plurality. Because:

Even if a system likes a character, they're not guaranteed to have a fictive of them; and if someone are a fictive, it's not necessarily because the system likes the character.

However, it's 100% valid to form/invite your Tony Stark fictive in the system because he's the system's comfort character. It's okay for him to exist. He deserves to exist, and be accepted, and respected as he is, including his fiction-identity.

Reiterating: your taste in fiction doesn't reflect your morals. So, no matter how much you love Tony Stark, both the character and the fictive, and be comforted by them both, you can still be, and you are, an anti-capitalist.

A system is more than the sum of their fictive's source characters. Also, fictives are allowed to be canon-divergent. Your systemmate Tony Stark is allowed to be anti-capitalist. He is a person/being/etc.. And people change all the time. Your system's Tony Stark fictive is allowed to change (e.g. if he was a capitalist then changed his views. And I mean, the body you live in is presumably not a billionaire so it's natural for a Tony Stark to change his political ideals in that situation).

You are not betraying your ideals for liking the character Tony Stark, and for having a fictive of him in your system.

This year for weekend one I've converted @twofingerswhiskey's set that were already ever-so-adorably posed!
