season 19 was a let down 😭😭

i’m sure that over a year of hype doesn’t help my case here but i really was expecting something a little better 😭

i don’t mean to be too much of a critic in this post and sorry if i seem like i’m complaining but man 🧍‍♂️ full review here we go

sarges death was expected and the character arc that simmons got from it was pretty well done , he was cool — sarges death did just seem kind of rushed but that’s probably also time constraints , nobody seemed super affected by it tho and that kinda put me off ☹️ sure the reds were like Sad right after he died , and grif + simmons had the moment at his grave, but it’s literally not brought up again ? simmons just gets to be a leader kinda and tucker doesn’t get told he killed sarge, nobody else brings it up after the climax?? not even during the climax as they fight meta again ?

^ although sarges final moments were done very nicely and the va’s had a ton of emotion ❤️

along with that, wash’s acting was amazing as always

grif was characterized really weirdly throughout the first half of the season - i’m guessing they tried to make him the “straight man” of the group but it kinda fell flat because he just seemed irrationally angry every single time he spoke 😭 he kinda evened out as it went on tho so that’s better than nothing

Simmons was very kind this season that was interesting and cool He didn’t have a care in the world

animation was wonky at times but it was there - fight scenes weren’t monty oum style of crazy but they were creative with them and ill give them that! good callbacks during the fight

character callbacks were cool! i’m glad we got a little bit of kai (no reunion with grif tho so that sucks), dylan was there but she was kinda characterized weird, grey there, agent one (???) for some reason, 479er!!!!! she was well done and she fit really well into the plot!, no checkup on chorus life which was kinda sad (no lieutenants boohoohoo) some of the callbacks felt out of place tho

i don’t like how they handled tex cause even though it was cool she was back , i feel like we’ve done this dance a thousand times

also carolina quite literally came out of nowhere ?? how did she just ? drop from the sky what ??? LOL

absolutely no donut at all ? there was like one mention of him that i can remember ? lopez is just forgotten about back at the bases ??? i don’t know if the donut thing was something behind the scenes but Uhh

music wasnt up to par - they just reused old songs basically , the weird song that played during the “Memories” sequence wasn’t good

i’m not the hugest fan of the ais in general so i don’t think about them too much but i feel like sigma wasn’t characterized in the same way he was in the freelancer seasons — in pfl he kind of subtly manipulated maine into becoming meta etc etc but for tucker , he basically just like😭 tortured him WHICH IS PROBABLY CAUSE LIKE tucker knows This guy is evil Ahhhh!!! but still that was a little weird

no grimmons sad day for the rvb fandom - some scenes could be read as grimmons, like grif basically inviting simmons to go with him , i’m confused on why simmons stayed because simmons himself literally said One last mission ? so idk what he’s doing bro idk if he’s staying in blood gulch or what — grif just straight up leaves and like ? are they gonna see eachother again orrr ? what’s happening

the ending felt rushed and kinda weird - just vibes , i think i’m biased because i now realize that not a lot can beat the s13 ending , but even so , grif just kinda leaves and that’s the end 😭

i feel like we didn’t get a whole lot of conclusions for all the characters even tho that’s what was promised

overall i’m probably giving this a solid 5-6/10 , the season was overall very hit or miss in some aspects and scenes

He's sad bc Edwin doesn't like him back but he's also maybe upset that he failed Esther but also scared of what Esther will think/do and probably guilty for thinking about Esther instead of Edwin but also guilty for having feelings for Edwin both because of Edwin's reaction and bc of his mission and also hurt that Edwin doesn't live him back and also blindsided because he thought otherwise and like. there's so many things going on and none of them even really occurred to him before and he's thinking up every single one in succession and you can see it on his face.

Something is super fishy with that normal ending; why go to all that trouble to save Cassie if he's just gonna off her in the end? I feel like some of what he said was true, like the stuff about M.X.E.S. (what does that stand for, anyways?); but in general, I just don't think that that's Gregory. We have no proof. And is that really Roxanne that we hear at the end, or is it the Mimic trying to lure her out in case she survived a fucking elevator dropping??

(Also lmao at everyone thinking that the Mimic was bullshit when it was actually 100% true, at least in some capacity. Don't worry, I know we're all embarrassed whenever MatPat turns out to be right- in his defense, tho, for at least FNAF, the story is already so convoluted that his theories feel mostly sane by comparison...)

I do wonder about the V.A.N.N.I. system. (I've already forgotten what that stands for...) Helpi in particular is a bit of a mystery, himself, since he seemed increasingly corrupt as time went on.

The bit with the Candy Cadet foreshadowing the ending was actually kind of clever. Like, towards the end it was kind of obvious, but his tale was really the nail in the coffin.

What the fuck was up with those mascot costumes? Why were they there; where did they come from?? And why was there a SCOOPER down there to begin with???

Poor Bonnie; it feels kind of rude for them to show us this and not have any kind of follow-through. Especially since he didn't even look damaged enough to be irreparable; something about that kind of stinks. It feels like they did things this way on purpose; Monty very obviously was the culprit, and someone obviously wanted him to be in the band- I don't think Monty himself had any particular aspirations until someone literally put it into his head that he did. I suppose he might've already been jealous of Freddy; it wasn't Bonnie's position that he really wanted, and therefore I don't think attacking him was his decision. This was all a setup, and Bonnie was a casualty. I suppose it's still possible that some spare parts of his were used by the mimic, much like how everyone believed it used Bonnie in his entirety.

Apparently you can fix Chica in the game; or rather, you can give her her voice back. I don't really know the steps to facilitate this since the no-commentary playthrough I watched didn't do this. That said, it doesn't really seem to do anything; all that happens is a brief jumpscare before Chica powers down again- idek why she was powered down in the first place. Maybe this is supposed to have dividends further down the line? Another bit of DLC, maybe?

Cassie seems to have a much more sympathetic bent towards the animatronics- at least, everyone but Monty. (And I guess Bonnie, since she doesn't really seem to have anything to say if you manage to find him.) She also mentions something about the FazWrench looking like her dad's; I wonder if her dad used to work for the company.

The bit with Roxanne came a little out of nowhere, but in retrospect, there were hints towards as much- mostly in Roxy Racers, where those weird cutouts would appear in AR mode. The first one you see alludes to her relationship with Roxanne (I am guessing that Roxy is her favorite animatronic, much like Freddy is Gregory's), and the second alludes to her relationship with Gregory- possibly even depicting how the two first met. Its second form seems to reflect her current state; apparently Cassie cared about Gregory a lot, though it's unknown whether or not this friendship was largely one-sided like the normal ending would somewhat suggest.

It's interesting how Cassie's mere presence seemed to loosen something up in Roxanne's mind, putting her in an almost robotic (heh) state, which is unusual for the animatronics- maybe. We don't actually know what they're supposed to be like outside of the virus, and Freddy himself feels heavily like an exception. When she catches Cassie by the arm and Cassie shrieks at her to let her go, she becomes apologetic and confused, before hesitantly muttering about an error. It's possible that when Cassie finds her again (having somehow wound up stuck under a forklift), something in her mind has been a bit scrambled, and she latches onto the first thing she remembers when she "sees" Cassie (I wonder about that honestly). She natters politely about the things she remembers, and asks after Cassie, still in the mind of cheering her up even in her altered state. In AR, she repeatedly "smiles" at Cassie... which makes it even sadder when Cassie performs the deed and sticks the wrench into an eye socket, Roxy's AR form reflecting fear and sadness as she (still so politely) asks what Cassie is doing, only to natter once more about carrot cake, as if she's still not quite present. When she shows up again out of the blue (and how she does this is a mystery), her voice is once again somewhat emotional, as she urges Cassie to run. It's hard to tell what's going on after that, what with Maybe-Greg's and Cassie's conversation happening at the same time, but it sounds almost like her voice switches in and out of that weird sort of "customer service" daze. At the end of the normal ending, you can hear her say Cassie's name again in that same tone of voice... but, it's hard to say for sure whether that really is her.

There's a theory that the Freddy you run into in Fazerblast might not be the one we know, given the writing under one foot that appears to read something like "prototype". It still is a mystery how he lost his head, and if he isn't Freddy per se, where the "real" Freddy has gone. Perhaps he is the "friend" that Maybe-Greg mentioned; that could also be Vanessa, though... or Vanny. We don't really know what happened to her, after all. There are in-game comic pages, but since the playthrough I watched didn't look at them (and I have no idea how many there technically are anyways), I don't know what they show us; supposedly though, it rules out several endings to the main game as canon, and introduces a few questions in general.

Where was DJ Music Man? With his size and strength, you'd think that he'd be both hard to miss, and unlikely to stay buried for long. And why are there so many Mini-Music Men around? Wasn't there only supposed to be just one?

Ice Queendom - RWBY Thoughts.

These are my thoughts for the first three episodes of RWBY: Ice Queendom. 

TLDR: It’s an enjoyable spin-off that checks a lot of my preferred things and the things I loved about RWBY as a whole, including Ruby’s and Yang’s sisterly bond, which got lost in recent volumes in favor of shipping characters.

Naturally, spoilers below the cut.

I really love that Taiyang, Yang and Ruby are one cohesive family unit.

What’s missing in the main RWBY show is the sisterly bond between Ruby and Yang, in favor of pandering to certain ships with abhorrent fanbases, it was really refreshing to see Yang and Ruby act like sisters again.

Taiyang gives Yang fatherly advice on how to take care of Ruby, about how Ruby should NOT depend on Yang.

Which brings us to how Yang opted to bring Ruby out of her shell as opposed to the OG scene where she left Ruby in the air.

Additional context for the White and Black trailers.

We were shown how Weiss Schnee was permitted to attend Beacon.

I also love how different Winter’s approach to sisterly affection to Yang’s is.

And how different Weiss’s approach to Whitley is to Yang’s approach to Ruby.

Yes you read that right, we see all the Schnees in this. Well at least the Jacques, Winter and Whitley are shown but we only see Willow’s back raising a glass of wine.

The SFX for Nora’s attacks made me cringe tho. It has the cutesy element but it felt jarring to hear.

Final thoughts:

I am really enjoying the RWBY anime. There are some animation mishap but that is par for the course of anime, especially considering their work hours. They will prioritize one scene over the other.

It does speed through the entirety of Volume 1 like how Ruby speeds to her class when she wakes up late.

And there are some hiccups here and there but it still enjoyable overall.

I think people misunderstand the goal of RWBY: Ice Queendom wasn’t to reboot RWBY or even retell RWBY. It aims to tell a different story from the main RWBY series produced by Rooster Teeth, hence why it’s called a story that’s “canon adjacent.”

In fact, a lot of RWBY spin off stories, like the manga and the DC comics one are also canon adjacent stories because it features things that aren’t really canon for the first three volumes of the series, or it deviates from the rules established by the late Monty Oum about the series. Biggest offender being the RWBY-DC crossover comic produced by DC Comics.

I think about what the other's thoughts would be a lot actually. Not that they matter to Monty or Moon/Sun, but I think.

Freddy doesn't have any strong feelings on the matter actually. He's of course happy for Monty, maybe a little bit jealous as he's the only single one now, but overall glad Monty found his other half (thirds?). A little off-put as he still doesn't necessarily care for Moon/Sun but they make Monty happy and thankfully calmer. (Not less chaotic tho)

Chica is in full support, the shipper on deck probably helps decorate for their eventual "wedding". When she first heard she was just surprised that anyone spoke to the attendant, let alone that Monty had a whole entire secrete relationship with them! Definitely overwhelmed them both with very personal questions until Roxy dragged her off. Tries to act as Monty's romantic guru with varying success.

Roxy had her suspicions after seeing him coming out of the daycare sparkling and had them confirmed when she saw them canoodling through the walls with her special eyes. (C'mon, Roxy would know everyone's whereabouts.) Kept quiet about it only because she knew that if she teased Monty he might go to the daycare less just to prove it wasn't happening and she didn't want to do that to Sun/Moon (it's not right even if she doesn't like them). Doesn't much care about the relationship as long as they keep PDA away from her and Moon off the race track.

In the end, I don't think they really care or disapprove, more so are just happy for him while also thinking, "Huh...didn't know he was into that."

The people who's deaths affected me greatly:

- Monty Oum: ive been a huge fan of his since watching Dead Fantasy. The way he animated fight scenes was so unique and exciting. And I loved watching his ddr videos. He was the reason I got to meet some online friends that i still consider to be close. People that loved the things that I loved, people that I could confide in about things that I normally couldn't my irl friends. When he died, it felt so surreal. I remember being in a college class, and not being able to concentrate. My friend, who had talked to him more often than I did, was even more so affected.

- my best friend from college: I remember asking her a question in a biology class, and that essentially put us on the path to becoming good friends. I was with her when she needed an oil change for her first car. Prior to her death, she was supposed to get married. My one regret was allowing my mental health at the time take over to the point I stopped hanging out with friends, including her. I wish I could have been with her for the last time.

- my maternal grandpa: I wont lie.....I wasn't as sad about my grandpa's death initially, but that's mostly because we had never met in person. Our first and last meeting was on Skype, when my family in the Philippines managed to come up with enough money to afford a computer and internet. The moment he saw my face, as well as my mom's, he cried. It had been 20 years since he last saw his daughter, and the first time seeing me. The thing that made me sad about his death was that we would never be able to meet in real life. I've always had.....complicated feelings towards my family (mostly on the paternal side) but with my maternal grandparents, even tho I never really got to grow up with them, I felt.....loved. and cherished by them. When I traveled to the PH for the first time, to view his grave, my maternal grandma treated me with such love and care, that I didn't know how to feel. She didn't judge me, nor looked down on me.....she made me food, and gave me a Lei of sampaguita. She made me feel special. She was like those grandmas you see on TV, who would bake you cookies and sing you a lullaby. I reckoned had my grandpa still lived, he would have done the same.

Chadwick Boseman: this was a death that affected many greatly. His portrayal of Black Panther was unique, and special. He was a strong and diligent leader, but also empathetic and kind. His performance at the end of Civil War, in particular, stuck with me; his speech about Vengeance towards Baron Zemo struck a cord with me.

I remember prior to his death being concerned at how skinny he had become in interviews. People would make fun of him and make jokes that he's doing drugs or something; not realizing he was very, very sick, and growing weaker as the days went by. The day he died, I didn't think I would be affected; but I was. I cried a lot for this man, who kept his illness a secret for so long from the public, just so he can take on a role that would mean so much to many people; especially little boys and girls of color. It hurts to see this man die so soon, someone who was looked up to by so many kids; kids who saw something in him that was also present within them.

Billy Kametz: prior to learning about Billy, I had already unknowingly heard his voice in many anime roles: Josuke, Naofumi, etc., but it was Ferdinand von Aegir in Fire Emblem: Three Houses where I first heard his name. He, alongside the entire voice cast of FE3H, brought a lot of joy and comfort to me during the three years of this pandemic. The game was the 1st game I bought with the last paycheck I got from my job before they laid me off. I spent days upon days playing and replaying that game. There were days when the uncertainty of real life would cause me great distress; but every time I heard the words "I am Ferdinand von Aegir!!" It would make me laugh out loud, and then, it would make me smile. In that moment, i was Ferdinand von Aegir; a noble knight on a horse, proud and strong, and I'd forget a little about how shitty the world has become.

When Billy announced his cancer not too long ago, I immediately thought back to Chadwick; I thought, "oh no. Not again. This can't be happening again." It doesn't help that it was the same type of cancer that took Chadwick. I was scared again. I didn't know these people personally, but i was afraid for him. Watching Billy's video talking about his diagnosis, seeing how skinny he had become in such a short span of months......this world is just too cruel.

Today, I learned on twitter that he passed away. I cried a lot, for a person I never met in person. I have a streamily print featuring Ferdinand and Hubert at tea time, autographed by both Billy and Robbie Daymond. I was hoping one day, once I own my own house with its own reception/living room, I would turn it into a tea or coffee room, and then I would hang that poster up, for all the guests to see. I still plan on doing that someday......but for now, I think I want to hang it up in my room, so that I can remember, that someone so talented and so loved by a wonderful community existed.

FYI, this post doesn't really have.....a specific purpose. With how today went, I just wanted to vent a little. Death is suppose to be a natural part of the circle of life, but it's also the one that hurts most. Once someone is gone, they're gone for good. No more text messages, no more impromptu trips to In-N-Out with them.......family gatherings have an empty void where they once stood. The squeaky toy your favorite pet used to play with, is still stuck under the shed, gathering dust, and cobwebs, and dissolving from the weather. Movies, and shows don't feel, or sound, the same. Weddings, birthday parties, graduations suddenly become a memorial.

Admittedly, it gets better with time; but there will always be moments in our lives, where a memory, or an image of someone we love appears in our minds, and we can't help but break down and cry, even years later. Despite all that, we're forced to wipe our tears and keep moving forward, as best as we can; if not for our sake, then for the people we still have in this world, as well as for the sake of the loved ones we lost, who would have wanted us to keep going.

I don't know how best to end this post except: please, hold your loved ones close.

tsukishima watched out of the corner of his eye as his daughter, no, hikari, handed him the medium brush from his toolkit. the two of them were in tsukishima’s office in the museum, way down inside the basement where he sometimes worked on the cleaning and upkeep of some artifacts and fossils for display. 

it had been about a month since tsukishima met you again and he learned that he had a daughter. neither of you told hikari about it yet and figured it would be better to ease tsukishima into her life. of course, the ideal situation for him would be that you would also welcome him into your life too but he didn’t want to force you either. tsukishima was happy enough that you suggested that he pick up hikari from school.

he didn’t know the first thing about taking care of a seven-year old child, especially when it came to entertaining them. but to his pleasant surprise, hikari was pretty excited when she heard she was ‘going to mr. tour guide man’s office to help out’. right now, she looked as if she was enjoying being his little assistant and handing tsukishima his tools when he needed them.

“alright, ready to head home?” he asked once he looked up to see that it was already six in the evening. usually, he stayed overtime especially when he was finishing something but he knew it was only a matter of time when hikari would get bored or hungry.

“sure!” hikari hopped off the stool she was sitting on and grabbed her backpack before the two of them headed out of the museum. she had a habit of hopping over the sidewalk cracks when she walked, making tsukishima smile a bit as he watched.

“tsukishima-san, can we get strawberry milk again?” hikari asked, skipping to his side and pointing at the vending machine a few blocks away from where your apartment was.

“isn’t it almost dinnertime?” tsukishima raised an eyebrow. 

“i’ll still have room...” she pouted. of course, he couldn’t resist that either.

“alright,” he chuckled. “just make sure to finish all your dinner. and don’t tell your mother too. promise?”

“promise!” hikari grinned. 

there’s always that ache in his chest when he brings hikari home to you. everything -- from hearing hikari yell ‘we’re home mom!’, to the smell of your cooking, to seeing you emerge from the kitchen -- reminds tsukishima of what he’s been missing all these years because of something he did. and more than ever, he wants to make things right.

“welcome home,” you chuckle when hikari runs into your arms. “how was your day with tsukishima-san?”

“good! he let me touch some fossils but also to keep it a secret because no one else is allowed to,” hikari giggled.

“it’s called ‘assistant’s privileges’, remember,” tsukishima grinned at her.

“assistants privlidges,” hikari nodded.

“if you say so,” you laughed at them. tsukishima hitched his shoulder bag and stood up.

“well, i’ll be going ahead now,” he said, despite how much his feet hesitated by the door. “you two have a good night.”

“hold on.”

tsukishima stopped, feeling his heart leap to his chest when he felt your hand on his shoulder. from you, he heard the words he’s been wanting to hear for so long: “why don’t you stay for dinner?”

when he turned around, tsukishima met the softness in your eyes. you wanted him to stay. 

“sure,” he nodded. “dinner sounds great.”

you never thought the day when tsukishima would be eating dinner at your table right beside your daughter would come. but here it was: a family dinner unfolding before you. when you decided to let tsukishima slowly come into yours and hikari’s life again, you didn’t know what to expect. the tsukishima you dated back in your university days didn’t even bother with taking care of a plant, but he did have his moments of care especially when it was for you. 

needless to say, you were pleasantly surprised to hear hikari’s stories about being at the museum with her father and watching tsukishima intently listen to her talk about the fairy princess game she played with her friends.

maybe, this is something that could work.

“don’t forget to do your homework first before TV,” you called after your daughter after she ran off.

“yes mom!” she responded. and just like that, you and tsukishima were alone in the dining room.

“i’ll... wash up,” he cleared his throat and stood up to begin gathering the plates.

“no way. you’re the guest here,” you shook your head. 

“it’s alright. you cooked dinner already,” tsukishima insisted.

“okay, how about you wash and i dry,” you suggested. tsukishima blinked at you in surprise before nodding slowly.

“sure, why not?”

there was something comforting with feeling tsukishima’s arm next to yours as the two of you stood side by side at the sink. so much so that you ended up talking out loud a lot, just like those times when you two were younger. 

“sorry, i guess i got a bit carried away,” you laughed nervously as you put away the last plate. 

“i definitely see where hikari gets in from,” tsukishima snickered.

“oh, you have no idea,” you laughed. “sometimes i look at her and wonder how people were able to deal with me.”

“it’s not that much of a bad thing,” tsukishima glanced at you with a small smile on his face. “does she... does she ask about who her dad is?”

“yeah,” you nodded, staring down at the floor. “there was this one time she went through all my things and made a mess just trying to find a picture of you. she didn’t, though. and... i promised her that maybe someday, i’ll let her meet you.” with a sigh, you looked up at tsukishima. “but, i guess that day has come sooner rather than later.”

“i’m willing to wait as long as it takes,” he said earnestly. “until you’re ready. i mean, it’s not just for hikari but for you too. i... the past few weeks i’ve just been hitting myself in the head seeing how much i’ve missed all these years.”

“i know,” you nodded, leaning back against the sink. “and, it’s been nice having you around. i can tell hikari would absolutely love you too. but, it’s not all easy, tsukishima. you have to understand that.”

“i know. i’m ready,” tsukishima said. “well, actually not really ready but you never are for these kinds of things,” he chuckled.

“you’re right there,” you smiled and looked down the hallway in the direction of hikari’s room. maybe, it was now time. 

“would you like us to tell her?”

tsukishima knew that lingering by the doorway of hikari’s bedroom while you explained things to her was going to be one of the most tension-filled moments of his life. when he heard his daughter ask ‘so, why didn’t he look for us?’, tsukishima was almost certain that she would hate him. 

and then, she looked right at him, and asked: “are you going to stay now?” 

“of course i am,” tsukishima nodded. “i’ll stay for sure.”

“promise?” 

“promise.”

before he could react, hikari leapt off her bed and ran to where he was, wrapping her small arms tightly around his waist. “i knew it! i knew it!” she giggled.

“woah, knew what? that mr. tour guide man’s your dad?” you chuckled.

“cause he likes the same strawberry milk i do!” hikari insisted, grinning up at tsukishima. “you know, same traits passed down through evolution like you said.”

that made him laugh. “sure, hikari.” his daughter smiled at him and there was something different about it now that she knew she was his daughter. tsukishima didn’t know of any other happiness quite like this. he knelt down on the floor and wrapped his arms around hikari and looked up to find tears in your eyes.

“welcome home, dad,” hikari said softly. tsukishima held a hand out to you. 

“it’s good to be home.”

considering i've only partially thought about the specifics of popular social media in oracle (so far all i have is that the main one, scry, is like if you combined the connection aspect of linkedin, the nosy aspect of facebook, the forum aspect of reddit and like, the vapid news aspect of any tabloid) then for this i'll just do what they would like if they used social media in this time and universe

hebe: mainly on art twitter. posts her art on tumblr too but prefers the exposure of twitter. gets into her fair share of arguments over people reposting without credit and blatantly misinterpreting her favourite characters. complains about the toxic people but likes commissioning other artists to support them and deep diving into constructive criticisms. uses facebook solely to share pictures of her brother's dogs or to shade her sister. posts on instagram with windo and MC a lot, has an aesthetic theme

windo: goes on reddit but specifically the redditships/tifu/aita realm, occasionally the nosleep type subreddits. gets sucked in. sometimes posts in them so people can laugh at the stupid things he's done, e.g. TIFU by offering to hang a priceless painting for a friend. decided to improvise when i realised i didn't know what i was doing. gives advice on the relationship posts. knows there's a lot of fake posts but operates on the suspension of disbelief to connect with strangers. also has an instagram w/ a mixture of goofy, friendship and fashion posts, and a work twitter to give commentary on political articles

sailor: a finsta to scroll meme instagrams. they actually laugh out loud at some of the bad jokes they come across. doesn't have tiktok so they can sit on their high horse in disdain for it but has seen millions in the reels tab anyway. never posts or comments, just likes. they send the MC memes but not through dms or anything, literally will get up and show them irl if they find something they think they'd laugh at like a cat bringing you a dead mouse. don't really do public social media profiles because they value their privacy.

jelly: their finsta that they just post bullshit on. they have like 3 followers and all their posts are like a slew of every thought that pops into their head at 2am. their celebrity crushes, things that made them laugh for 5 mins for no reason, their take on soulmates, on fictional characters, nostalgia posts, dog pics, them listening to one direction, 5 selfies in a row of different angles, drunk posts. their public social medias are all very put together and well curated tho. pretty pics and makeup #ads on insta. eloquent linkedin. no facebook

twenty: barely uses any. dislikes seeing too many opinions that he didn't ask for. had a phase where he used to troll scammers (and sometimes just random people to be a menace) on habbo hotel. wouldn't admit it but he likes taking uquizzes. what kind of emo are u. what horror movie trope would u be. what colour would u be. 9/10 he’s not even happy about the results but he just goes :/ and moves onto the next one. has seen like 5 total tiktoks and only knows what a tiktoker is because jelly has explained it

noir: doomscrolls on various sites, mostly twitter and douban. hates these sites with a passion but continues to consume all the depressing content anyway as just one of many shitty habits. had a sadboy tumblr (because OF COURSE HE DID) in his teens that is semi-common knowledge but old enough news that it’s not really something people bring up to tease him about. black and white big gifs with text, angsty textposts, classics like that. pretends to care about his linkedin but god if it’s not the most boring thing ever to him. posts view pics on insta 

honey: honestly probably normal twitter. her dn is just honey and her @ is something generic and she shares her opinions on condiments and mundane things like that. not really interested in discourse or fandom spaces and is not the most up to date in meme culture. she’s busy a lot, so she doesn’t have much time to spend online. watches those calming asmr baking videos on youtube. in her teens i think she would’ve been a fan of acoustic cover channels. had a facebook when she was younger but deactivated it because she never used it

jareth: his secret letterboxd. actually reviews movies impartially and passionately. nobody would ever guess it was him. not a mega popular account, but pretty credible. likes to take advantage of the fact he’s not taken too seriously by certain demographics, so he shares his more comprehensive opinions anonymously. gets genuinely irritated by most troll reviews. some are funny enough to let slide. he had a wattpad once but NOBODY knows nor will they ever know because he would die of embarrassment if that came out. sometimes says annoying shit on twitter but nothing too controversial or topical

ludo: it’s not really a social media but like......ebay. he can scroll ebay for hours whether he’s window shopping or actually wants to buy something. likes to look in the antique section especially. the habit started because he grew up with barely any money and used to curiously browse the kind of obscure stuff rich collectors liked to buy, but by the time he had income of his own (albeit not that much) he’d kind of convinced himself that he understood why people wanted this junk. now it’s like an addiction. he also has a twitter that’s more clued into memes and references but is still pretty mundane. 

monty: her instagram is very well curated. meticulous, even, with selfies, fashion, meals, more ‘relatable’ backstage pictures, etc. it’s definitely a little too perfect but she’s proud of her aesthetic eye, and her public image isn’t fake so much as presented in a way that she gets to keep her personal things to herself. is the kind of celebrity to do instagram lives just to make her fans happy. made a youtube channel due to popular demand but doesn’t really have a clear plan for it, so it’s mostly just q&a where she talks about her favourite characters, funny set anecdotes and her met gala looks. jareth appears on it sometimes to talk about their drama greenwood creek and he suggests meme reviews and things like that

The Glamrock ‘bots make a habit of just picking me up whenever I get too heated (usually at management) or chaotic (in general) or just to drag me away for various reasons and they all kinda have different ways of doing it but the default at first is to hold me up by my hoodie like a foiled lion cub seeing how much taller they all are and I’m miffed about it at first but over time I just let it happen even as they all lean into their different ways of doing so, I do occasionally climb onto all of them to perch or sit on their shoulders of my own volition too lol

Freddy does it like that the most still, he blames it on the Bear senses but it’s also just the most effective when I’m aggravated, he’s DEFINITELY just picked me up from my waist before tho and caught me so off guard I shut up **immediately** and he hasn’t tried it again bc he’s not sure if that was a good reaction or not. (Sidenote, yes, I can ABSOLUTELY fit in his chest cavity, we only know this because Gregory asked if I could and I paused for a minute and then we both dashed off to be menaces to Freddy)

Monty and Roxanne both prefer to just throw me over their shoulders but Roxanne’ll also throw me onto her back piggyback style so she can nyoom out faster and to mostly avoid her built in claws and If Monty’s feeling especially annoyed he’ll lift me by the back of my shirt/hoodie with his maw (Gator senses) so he won’t accidentally get me with HIS claws (possibly again, it’s had to’ve happened at least once with both of them)

Chica picks me up princess style and with one arm and is very ☺️ about it the entire time except for rare occasions where she’ll lift me up by my hand/arm or hold me up by my leg to either make a point or be playfully dramatic, she doesn’t really feel the need to pick me up as much but she WILL straight up drag me away and I just get used to it

Sun and Moon both do the Pick up hug where they’ll hug me and use that to just lift me but the big difference is that Sun just stands up but Moon’ll use the CEILING WIRE MECHANISM TO LIFT ME INTO THE AIR and the first time he did it I screamed loud enough that they could hear me all the way at the lobby, he’s lucky we were closed at that point and I nearly broke his hearing sensors. That’s how they all learned I have a previously untalked about fear of heights and Sun makes a note not to ever do that unless absolutely needed whereas Moon goes >:] and’ll still do it occasionally when I annoy him enough

(I haven’t screamed like that since the first time and everyone who heard it made a pact to never give me a reason to scream like that again bc the pitch I can hit genuinely fucked with everyone’s systems a worrying amount and also bc they all had heart attacks when they realized it was me screaming)

DJMM just grabs me like a squeaky toy most of the time bc that’s how he’s seen me grab the Wind-Up MMs, which I deem as totally fair, and totally not bc I might squeak in surprise whenever he does. He’s a lot more careful bc of his size and has absolutely caught me mid-accidental nap in the arcade area before and scooped me up till either one of the others shows up or I wake up, whichever comes first. He has also grabbed my by the back of my hoodie/shirt before after he saw one of the others do it to get me out of his DJ Station

The S.T.A.F.F bots don’t even try, I nearly broke one of them in shock when it tried to and they all decided to Not Even Try That Again (I apologized, I think the S.T.A.F.F bots are neat and Im generally nice to them) the only ones who even dare touch me after that are Map Bot tapping my shoulder or patting my arm to give me a map (I have a map collection at this point) and the Chef bots helping me whenever I go ‘fuck it’ and go into the kitchens to make my own food bc I’m a bit hopeless when it comes to actually making food and it pains their systems to watch me attempt to cook, I won’t let them just make it for me after hours bc they’re ‘off duty’ so the compromise is them helping me

Gregory made me pinky promise that I wouldn’t pick him up unless ABSOLUTELY necessary and I stick to that as much as I can—I’m not one to break a pinky promise after all— the only exception is a few times I’ve picked him up while he’s passed out just to move him somewhere more comfortable, which is usually the couch in Freddys room or the Fazbear Theater. We don’t talk about it but he knows it’s usually me moving him when it isn’t Freddy because Freddy always accidentally wakes him up (not that Freddy knows that, he’s being very careful and Gregory doesn’t want to make him feel bad for waking him up so he doesn’t usually mind)

Ooo ok ok. List time!!

Mmm...Freddy thinks he's good with kids and considers him a good friend :0! Though, he'll admit Theseus is a bit. Quiet. When he roams around, he has a tendency to get spooked by him on occasion lmao.

Ah. Chica and him are best friends really, she has nothing but nice things to say! They're very close despite not seeing eachother that often.

Roxy will never admit to his face that she considers them friends fjsjxjdh. He compliments her a lot when she asks- hes always so good at throwing praise towards the kids that it's not much of an issue when he knows she needs the confidence boost. She appreciates his existence and don't quote her on that.

Ah. Monty thinks he's too quiet. Not in a way that spooks him like Freddy but in a way where they're more...polar opposites? Monty doesn't think he's energetic enough, but still considers them friends...to a degree.

Sun and Moon aren't even a question FJEHCHDH consider. They are the f/os. They see Theseus the most and are therefore, way closer to them than the other animatronics are. Sun would definitely agree that he's hard to...hype up for certain activities but Moon naturally has no complaints about his sleepy demeanor. (Also. They are. Head over heels. So yeah BHXHSHX)

Hard question to answer tbh, I think he considers the band to be close like family but. That's more of a dynamic and not an actual family thing. He doesn't have one really.

Gregory, Freddy & My Favorite OCs

Krona

A cute girl about the same age as Gregory that can be even more sassy then Gregory.

She loves the color yellow, bee theamed things and jelly shoes

A little genus.

100% a daddy's girl so she adores her father but still has a lot of respect for her mother.

Doesn't get scared easily at all but tends to cling to someone she trusts when she is scared.

She liked Gregory from the moment she saw him and looks out for him.

She adores Glamrock Freddy.

Aiden (Krona's older brother)

A lazy, laid back boy

Loves music, puzzles and sleep

Upset or hurt his sister and he'll go in protective big brother mode.

Can and has hotwhired a car (he's 2 years older then Krona btw)

Another genus.

Can sleep anywhere in any position.

Takes immediate liking to Gregory and quickly treats Gregory as if he's his little brother.

Takes a liking to Glamrock Freddy pretty much immediately.

Zora (Krona & Aiden's older cousin)

A distent teen that usully just keeps to herself.

Has a mom mode.

Mom mode was activated when she first saw Gregory. (Poor kid was being chased by Monty)

Is like a second mom to her younger relatives.

Is more of a loner but will hang out with certain people.

Loves candy and always has some on her.

Is 6 years older then Aiden.

Also takes a liking to Glamrock Freddy but tries to hide it. (She's a tsundere about it lol)

Rebecca (Zora's best [and only] friend)

A sweet and cheerful girl.

Is the same age as Zora.

Is a loving big sister figure to Zora's younger relatives (and later Gregory).

Has some training in the medical field so she often treats injuries & keeps a full first aid kit on her.

Loves, loves children.

Immediately loves Glamrock Freddy and isn't afraid to show it.

Keeps Zora from losing her temper.

Is very affectionate qnd patient with Gregory (despite him not wanting to corporate when she's tending to his injuries)

Nicholas & Echolas (Zora's little brothers)

Nicholas (Nico) is the older and more distent twin. Echolas (Echo) is the more energetic and chatty younger twin.

They're protective of each other and their younger relatives (like Krona & Aiden)

They take a liking to Gregory and Glamrock Freddy and see them both as family pretty quickly. (Nico is less obvious about that tho)

Nico & Echo are pretty much complete opposites despite being identical twins (they're 4 years younger then Zora btw)

Alanna (Zora's little sister)

The most spoild out of her siblings (her siblings are still pretty spoild tho).

Is the same age as Krona.

Is a very sweet and cheerful child but can say scarry things with a cheerful smile.

Is very affectionate. Especially to Gregory.

Happily makes and gives gifts to her loves ones for really no reason other then to show that she cares about them. (Giftes include: cards, jewelry, sweets and hand made stuffed animals)

She adores Glamrock Freddy immediately.
