I don't know if it will be answered in the comic, but i'll ask if not - in chapter 15 when Diamond told Fade that it's a bad look for a king to have no reputation, did she mean that as in a king without reputation is viewed as an incompetent/new leader and thus isn't spoken of or as in a king without reputation is viewed as someone who is a selfish/evil leader?

It can be as you've guessed but Diamond was uneasy because Kings and Queens of different prides generally communicate with each other via their Squires or they may bump into each other's hunting parties at least once, so there's a familiarity with their neighbours on that front.

The fact that a strange Squire just waltzed into their kingdom with demands from a King that they had never heard of? First of all: the audacity. Secondly, why is it that Edge knows about the Thundering Mountains and yet the Thundering Mountains doesn't know about Edge. That's quite a worrying problem.

It indicates a kind of secrecy and a lack of honesty on the King's front on top of everything. If a King has no reputation, he has probably deliberately set out to make sure he has none... so that he's always holding all the cards and other prides don't have intel on him, if that makes sense? - RJ

I know original projects rarely do well on tumblr but I still want to introduce a project I just started working on. Its mythology meets Cryptids meets Arthurian legend meets a summer camp in the mid 90s. I’m still deep in the development phase for the overall story arc but Im writing a short story within the world for a class right now (go art school!).

It’s going to be two webcomic style episodes, Ive always wanted to make a webtoon so Im super excited! This is a wip of a promotional illustration featuring the main characters Merlot (left) and Guinea (right). I hope you guys like them :)

#the water the water the water! who would i be if i didnt dedicate a post to it #we spent the trip in a hotel across from the sea and the moment i stepped off the airport bus and saw it--this endless sweep of steely blue #mountains rising behind and the edge of it bleeding into the sky #i knew it was going to be the most perfect trip. and it was!#best water was the black sand beaches--both of them--i almost short-circuited. would love to say something poetic about them but that reall #is the highest compliment i could give. we had a brief break one time coming back from the southern shore tour; it was vvv dark could barel #see anything and we were starving but we had juuust enough time that michaela and i went down again to the beach outside of the pitstop #village. we were utterly alone; could barely see the sea; but i knew it was there and could hear the rush of it and it was so so cold and m #wife's hand was very warm and it was perhaps the best moment of all.#iceland trip #mine.txt

We left Loyalty's Meander at the same time our last guests did. Apparently, the horrible murder-cult vibes weren't enough to deter them, so now we have allies! That's nice, I guess.

Blackthorn learned to walk while we were road-tripping and I couldn't get this scene from Ice Age out of my head while I was trying to draw it so you just get the scene instead.

Thanks to the vehicle mod, it only took us eight days to get here, so here we are! I can't wait to see the ship!

That is problematic. We'll try to mine into those mountains and see if there's a ship hidden in there somewhere, but I fear this may call for some Dev Mode intervention from Ecthuctu themselves...
