RTC Headcanons for a cyclone-free AU except it’s a lot of projection

- Ricky had a warrior cats phase

- No elaboration

- The group learned a little Ukrainian for Mischa and learned ASL for Ricky

- Constance loves to crochet

- She makes gifts for EVERYONE

- Headbands for Ocean, sweaters for Ricky’s cats, a slip dress for Noel, etc etc

- They all joined the choir for different reasons

- For Ocean, it was her love of music and desire to get away from her parent

- For Mischa, it was escapism from his abusive adopted parents, but he just said singing helped his rap career

- For Constance, it was time away from her family and new friends

- For Noel, it was his love of songwriting and poetry. Choir was such an underrated art form and even though he pretended to hate some people in the choir, it was becoming his favorite thing a

- For Ricky, Ocean dragged him along (canon)

- Nobody knows why Penny originally joined, but she’s one of the happiest ones there

- Ricky, Penny, Noel, and Ocean are all autistic

- Ocean was basically diagnosed by the group

- Similarly, Ocean has never been to a real doctor and has never been vaccinated

- The choir loves to have baking competitions

- Obviously Constance wins but goddamn Mischa is a FIEND in the kitchen as well

- Omfg sleepovers with these guys are straight out of old teen movies. I’m talking braid trains, movies, gossiping, the works

- Ricky is in the front (physically can’t braid)

- Ocean is in the back (tenderheaded and also hates being called Pippi Longstocking)

- Penny is the best braider and also loves having her hair braided

- Penny’s love language is physical touch

- She will literally hug anyone and everyone and loves playing with people’s hands and hair

- Penny is everyone’s comfort person

- Feeling anxious?? talk to Penny

- Missing home?? talk to Penny

- Mischa is almost always at Noel’s house

- Both for gay reasons and Mischa needing an escape

- Penny probably has a “weird” pet, like a rat or a lizard

- There is a group tiktok under stcasschamber

- There is zero monitoring and it’s essentially a shitpost page

Random Ass Post

Listening to my new Dance Mix I made on Spotify to help get me wiggling a prescribed amount of time per day, my brain immediately went to the Host Club AU

Imagine this (I'm not saying it's going to happen At All in the actual story, but whatever) - the reader is kind of making their "pick" - whose going to be their love interest in this story?!? Well, time to do a dance to a song on stage In Front Of Everyone and basically make said declaration.

Cause I have Otome tropes on the brain and will not apologize for it.

So I realized:

constable joe and hugo headcannons??/ 😱 😈

Oh HELL yes here we are

Ok basic stuff for them individually:

Hugo is autistic and dyspraxic, having a special interest in law and crime solving. He has sensory sensitivities to touches and textures specifically (being scared of toad, being repulsed at the carnival men "who share eight teeth.") His main stim is rubbing his fingers together (is this even a headcanon?? He literally just does this in the show.)

Constable Joe is adhd. Executive dysfunction, struggling to keep on one subject, being absentminded and aloof. (Obviously undiagnosed cuz 1800s but I feel like even in a modern au he'd still be undiagnosed.)

Then, them:

Constable Joe vaguely knew he needed a deputy but there was really no one in such a small town (and he kept forgetting to put up a sign.) I like to think one day Hugo was walking along and he, like, tripped into the police station and Constable Joe was like: "You're hired."

I'm not sure if Hugo has living parents or not (I'm thinking maybe he had a mom who passed on early or something bc in the Story of Winnie Foster Constable Joe is the only person at Hugo and Winnie's wedding) but anyway ever since he was hired Hugo hangs out with Constable Joe and is SO dedicated to him. They're kind of a great duo, cuz Hugo is eating up every single thing that Constable Joe says as GOSPEL, but Hugo is very smart on his own so he adds in things and they kind of just bounce off each other (even though Constable Joe does not notice at ALL.)

The Deputy Handbook has been the same since, like, the dawn of time. Constable Joe had it as deputy, and the guy before him, and so on...and the only thing they do to differentiate it is to just put a piece of tape over the nametag that was on it before.

Hugo's Handbook is definitely a comfort item, and he also carries around a notebook so he can write down EVERYTHING that Constable Joe says. And you freaking BET it's a surrogate father/surrogate son situation. Hugo looks up to Constable Joe SO MUCH, he wants that validation SO MUCH (even if he doesn't fully realize it or can't fully express it.) When Constable Joe tapped him on the shoulder and said "you'll make deputy yet" that was EVERYTHING to Hugo.

And Constable Joe doesn't fully realize how much he cares about this li'l guy, too. Sometimes Hugo will get panicked or overstimulated and instinctively jolt towards Joe and Joe will be like "???mm??" Constable Joe doesn't fully understand it but he realized that if he gives Hugo a little tap or side hug then Hugo calms down. Both of them aren't huge on physical touch, but as their relationship grows, they grow more comfortable with it. They are still both very big on pats and taps of recognition.

And...they both like to dance :))))

BMC Family Headcannons

So after seeing three people do this, I have decided to add my own headcannons for the SQUIP Squad’s family: 

-Jeremy lives with his Dad named Paul. They have a better relationship after the musical is done, Paul enjoys fly-fishing and takes Jeremy on very long fishing trips. He is a lawyer. Jeremy’s Mom left when he was in freshman year and he’s hardly heard from her. 

-Michael has two Moms!! THIS IS CANON!! Their names are Reyna and Camila, Camila is a primary school teacher and Isabela is a head manager at a café, he has a younger sister named Isabela who he babysits often. Reyna carried Michael but Isabela was adopted. 

-Christine has a single parent named Xavier who’s a book publisher. They’re a big music nerd and taught Christine how to play guitar! 

-Brooke’s parents were never married but they separated when she was 4. She lives mostly with her Dad & Step-Dad their names are Anthony ‘Tony’ & Damian, they got married when she was around 12. Her Dads run a small business where they sell handmade jewellery, mugs, candles, etc. Her Mom is named Charity and she’s an optometrist. Brooke is kinda close to her but she mostly sees her on weekends. 

-Chloe’s parents are rich. Her Mom is named Aubrey and she’s a dermatologist, her Dad is named Orion and he’s an accountant. She has three older brothers (Ram, Tucker, Colton) and growing up she’d always roughhouse with them. 

-Jenna lives with her Mom Paulette and her Mom’s partner Kyle. Her Mom’s a hairstylist while Kyle is a computer programmer, they taught Jenna a lot about technology and the web. 

-Rich’s father is an alcoholic (canon) and his Mom died when he was in middle school. He has an older brother named Kevin, he’s like eight years older than him and was able to move out of their house. He has a shitty apartment and tries to help his younger brother whenever he can. 

- Jake’s parents fled the country for money laundering (canon) They call two months before or two months after his birthday and sometimes mysteriously send him money. He doesn’t care for them. His grandparents live far in the country but they try to reach out to him as much as they can, he loves them to death.

I've been listening to an old favorite song of mine, and it's really giving me some tragically beautiful feelings about the path Sebastian takes, and regardless of what happens to him in the end.

I'm not sure I could imagine it as a duet though I've been doing just that for the past half hour, but it seems to feel like such an excellent fit for Sebastian and his sister Anne, or an MC who became his close friend, or love interest.

I almost want to spin the poignancy of the lyrics into a one shot, somehow, especially that last refrain!
