Headcanons of two of my favorite comfort ships:D

Darkstache.

Dark isn't much of a hug person so wilford trys to avoid hugging him, they mostly share love different ways.

Dark doesn't need sleep but will try to sleep when wilford wants to go to bed sometimes.

Dark is a tad protective of wilford but it doesn't really show when wilford is around at least.

Wilford will just sit on the floor and talk about his day to dark while dark is doing who knows what.

Wilford is always losing something but dark always knows where what he lost is missing.

Wilford often defends dark like "he's a good guy I swear!:D" while dark is just standing there like he's about to literally break everybody's mind.

Abestache.

I like to picture if the two are sharing a bed, when Abe can't sleep or just not sleeping, wilford just wakes up to find him not in bed so he'll get up to find abe, so a half alseep wilford with bed head is standing there with a blanket over his shoulders depending on what Abe says is his reaction. If it's anything and I mean anything about work wilfords just like "well mr work is for the morning, right now it's bed time!:(" If Abe is determined to stay up wilford WILL sleep on the couch or anywhere close to him.

Wiflord is reckless and Abe has dangerous job. Theses two are always patching each other in some way.

Yk how some couples playfully mock their s/o? Yeah that's wilford. He'll playfully mock some of the things Abe says but never means it in a harmful way.

Abe just knows when wilford has done something, it's like "what did you doo?" "What?! Me? Nothing!" ". . ." ". . . ."

Wilford is a matching person, he'd definitely try to get abe to get matching stuff like shirts or anything like that.

Theses two have swapped clothes at least once to see what they'd look like.

Thinking about headcanons and headcanon posts and I realized that, at least with pokémon protags and rivals, you'll probably never get an "official" gender/sexuality post from me. Not because I don't have queer headcanons, but because I constantly rotate them around in my head depending on my mood that it'd be wrong 20 mins after I posted it.

Like, when I ship Serena with Emma, they're cis wlw, but when I ship her with Calem, they're T4T straight, or she's aroace with the whole friend group pining over her.

Similar with Silver, while I generally prefer seeing him as gnc cis, I love transmasc Silver with all my heart (transfemme is allowed, but he/him pronouns exclusively).

I'll ship Lyra with most characters she interacts with or other protags, but I don't necessarily think she's bi/pan (tho I do often).

Anyways, I'm gonna try to go back to posting (mostly Kris-centric) headcanons, just don't be surprised if you don't see any of these.

I often see people saying they hate noco and then they say fhat noco shippers should ship nemma, nowen, or alenoah instead. What I think they don't realize is most of the noco shippers I see (at least here on tumblr) are mutishippers. In fact, they usually ship all three of those ships. Stop acting like characters can only have one pairing??? It's fanon buddy.

listen listen listen I'm a mutishipper, right? With Sonic alone I dig Sonamy, Sonknux, Sonadow, Sonaze, and Sonic x Chilidog because idk how this man manages to be so bi and ace at the same time. But you get what I mean right? I enjoy it all - look at all this fandom content I get to experience. So cool. But then I get to Whispangle And it's just... literally I cannot, physically I just CAN'T bring myself to ship those two with anyone BUT each other. To ship them with anyone else feels like a betrayal - like you fundamentally misunderstand them as characters. They are so just- intertwined that it feels so wrong to break them apart. With Sonamy, Sonelise, Sonally like - if you ship Sonic in a relationship that isn't pushed by canon then sure, that's so cool - no stipulatuons, love that. But with Whispangle - nah dude. They gay af. They are the apples of each other's eyes and just - THEM. IT'S THEM. I LIKE THEM. My TotK experience and how it shaped my TotK shipping.

I'm writing this out because I got static on a random post for mentioning my headcanon, and I figure my own blog is a safe place to write it all down and get my experience in one place for better or worse. I'm a mutishipper by temprement, so you can and should ship what you like. Do not think by outlining my experience and thoughts I am trying to invalidate your own. Totk and BotW are both games with amazing emergent gameplay. The written narrative is only a fraction of the tale as you write your own version of events by what you choose to do and in what order you do it.

My wife is a huge Zelda fan. I enjoy the games, but she is the one who keeps them coming in. She's got a Triforce Engagement Pendant(try putting that on a ring!) we saw the Symphony of the Fates on our wedding night(and our first not-date years before) Zelda is a thing.

So I played BotW, and I played TotK. I enjoyed them both! At the end of BotW I was sure Zelink was a cute sure thing. I was happy! (My wife was frustrated Zelda didn't tell Link how she felt 😆)

Then we played TotK. Six years later, Zelda and Link are spelunking and boom the game yeets Zelda away. Couples-time, we barely knew ye. Now, both my wife and I play our own separate saves. We generally avoid spiling for each other, and we play quite differently. (In BotW I went right for the castle, found the basement, and ended up fighting the Stalnox that protected the Hylean Shield with 4 hearts. In TotK she mapped the entire underground early on)

My TotK experience began with me making a bee-line for Gerudo town after talking to Purrah/Robbie and exploring the castle a little. I liked the Gerudo plotline in BotW and wanted to see what was going down over there these days.

The Gerudo plotline is definitely fun (uh spoilers I guess?) Seeing Riju grown and trying to be a strong leader was awesome. (I have a headcanon she's still short because she met Link. She knew exactly how tall the strongest warrior in all of Hyrule was, and so why get any taller than that?)

I completed the temple, got my first sage power, and now several things converged.

1)Okay, so Riju's crush on Link in her Diary is cute. Not unique, everyone crushes on Link!

2)I decided to explore after completing this quest. Checking out the corners, completing my map, gaining some shrines, etc. This means I spent a lot of time with Riju as my only sage. We crossed Hyrule and back time and time again, checking on people, visiting old haunts, and fighting enemies way past my weapon's abilities thanks to her lighting.

3)Riju is the most interactive of the sage powers. Activate the power, and then you have to actually work with her to trigger it. It's not temperamental like Yunobo's either. Riju will hold ready for you for quite some time. It's also very versatile. Explode enemies, blow up mining points, and one of my favorites- Light the underdark. There's something deeply intimate about being surrounded by darkness with only your partner's power to light the way for you.

It made Riju one heck of a travel companion. Just having someone *anyone* along with Link, him not being alone, felt so good after being alone in BotW. The Warrior of Light and his Sage companion. Little tales wrote themselves, like an epic saga.

Still, Zelink was still a thing, right? Then You run into Link's old home in Hateno. It's changed, definitely. You find Zelda's lab. You find her Diary. -Now, here I know the Japanese version has a very different tone, but I didn't have that version so I only got the English- reading Zelda's words painted a picture of a close bond, but also not a classical 'ship' one. Combine this with some of the other tidbits and memories collected on the journey and it just painted a very different picture for me(and my wife) There may have been dialogs we missed too, it's a vast open world game, and this is a retelling of my playthrough, not a comprehensive thesis based on all the lore available on a wiki.

This Zelda, being Aro/Ace. Or at least if not, being so immersed in her work and duty that something like a traditional relationship isn't on the radar for her. She's got her Science. She's got her Kingdom. She's got her curiosity. These things Matter to her. A romantic relationship? Just didn't feel like it did.

Link is still the most important person in the world to her. He's her Knight. He's reliable, supportive, dedicated, brave. He's as vital to her as her own two hands. A respectful Link could easily be seen accepting this role. Zelda's vital to him too. He cares for her and will always be there. It's his duty, and his passion. The two are inseparable. They're just not a *couple*

So, where does this leave us? Link and Zelda will travel together always. Riju is Queen of the Gerudo and cannot just leave her people. She's also someone who my TotK Link spent time with (in my writer's brain the sage-mirages actually sent impressions back to the Sages in their dreams, and as time went by the link between the two could be two ways, like a form of active astral projection in a crisis)

So a RiLink relationship that is built on respect and trials together, but that understands the duties placed on both just seemed cute. He's still with Zelda, she's still with her people. She'll eventually end up with a hero's child, and the one male ever allowed into Gerudo town will be able to visit his future child and maybe even pave the way for a more open Gerudo society in the long run.

Zelda and Link are still constant companions day-to-day though. She's the Queen(eventually? Still princess?) he's her Knight. Their relationship is still built on respect and shared hardships(much like RiLink) They're just not an 'item'. They're liege and retainer.

I did the 'Wait how old is Riju?' thing as this was starting to come into focus, because she was young in BotW 😅 She's 17... I think? Fantasy setting, it seemed fine to ship. I mean, everyone thinks Mipha crushing on Link is adorable, and she saw him first when he was a little tot! 🤣

So, that's it really just kind of laying out my ship and why I think it's cute. I welcome any and all comments provided they're couched politiely.

I post a lot of headcanons and aus stuff but truth is, I'm a roleplayer at heart. Written via Skype, MSN, even had this weird set-up where someone doodled out their reply in art and I chose to type mine out in word format. Since I have a wealth of free time, I was gonna put forth this offer to start roleplaying in private servers on Discord! Firm on fiction =/= reality . Can write anything from short paragraphs to multi-paragraph responses as I'm often on my laptop. 21+ preferable since I'm 21+ myself; I do tend to delve into heavy topics because I find horror enjoyable. CNC, NSFW, all fine! I don't mind! I tend to toss an idea out to my writing partner when I get it and see where it leads, generally. Blood, gore, SH, sexual content, all perfectly fine since I have no triggers myself, and I have a rather versatile roster of characters! I've written: (JJK, up to date) Ryomen Sukuna, Yuuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, Yuta Okkotsu... (the list continues!) I also like to become friends outside of the roleplay, so my interests are gaming, manga, writing, and learning/studying. I tend to lean heavily into tropes and plots inspired by content like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Higurashi, Death Note, Fatal Frame, Elfen Lied, Persona, and more. I like getting into themes and the psychological aspect as well as the general aspects. I'm a nerd at heart, what can I say? There are ship wars on if AA (Tristan) should date L (Libby), P (Parisa) or C (Callum)

Those that ship him with R (Reina) or N (Nico) don't engage in the ship wars and are chill, they hang out with the poly/mutishippers

Callum found Tristan's anonymous account and recognized it instantly as Tristan, he decided not to say anything and follows him on an alt account

99% of the time he posts thirst traps to boost his own ego (post-knife scene Tristan comments on them (with his main boring account) pointing out that not only is Callum's body illusioned but also photoshopped)

1% of the time Callum posts concerning things that scare everyone (ex. "There is no fate so final as betrayal. Trust, once dead, cannot be resurrected" or the selfie he took with the hostage Nico and Tristan kidnapped) (how he manages to escape being suspended is beyond anyone)

All of Callum's followers are very confused when he randomly posts something ominous, though some of his fans have started theorizing that based on when Callum posts his concerning shit and when Academic Anonymous complains about "C" that Callum is "C" (especially since his name starts with a C) (especially since Callum's account matches with the personality AA described).

Callum also decides to be a problem on purpose and bothers all of the Atlas Six on social media, they are very close to blocking him
