Custom ask for you for when you have time, of the mostly writerly variety. 1. What is your favorite type of thing to write. What comes easily to you, where the prose and plot and beats feel like they just flow? 2. What do you struggle with as a writer. What hitches and needs lots of revisions, and do you see a pattern in those hitches? 3. IIs something you'd like to try your hand at, writing wise, but haven't yet? What might it be?
Hello my friend :D I love asks like these! Thank you for swooping on by to throw them in the ask box :>
Without further ado!
Writerly Asks from the most esteemed @paraparadigm
1. What is your favorite type of thing to write? What comes easily to you, where the prose and plot and beats feel like they just flow?
Type of thing specifically? Well, short answer is fiction. There's a lot of things I'd say are my favorite to write within that broader category which means of course I don't have a specific single favorite, unless we're talking genre (fantasy) and POV/perspective (third limited) But if we narrow it to be the things about fiction specifically that I love to work on, I can handle that without writing another book on the topic lol (:
I absolutely love writing dialogue! Doesn't matter if it's between characters or a character's inner thoughts, really but if I had to choose, it's between characters. I can so clearly hear the way my characters speak and speak to each other (I realize this sound a bit on the nonsense side but believe me it's not) while I'm writing that it's almost like I'm simply eavesdropping. It's more complicated than that, of course, because as an editor I know that dialogue should always be accomplishing something. It doesn't mean there's no room for banter or things of that nature. It just means none of it is filler. All of it serves characterization, the plot, or both. (:
For plot beat related things, I believe if I had to pick a second favorite thing, it'd be action sequences. I don't know if I'm, y'know, actually very good at them or not. I've read some phenomenal action scenes in books and I've read ones that felt scattered. Also some that dragged on forever. I'm not sure if I personally convey the stakes in each fight scene as well as I can. It takes practice. But when I do dig in and write these, they do seem to flow quite easily onto the page for me, easier even than dialogue. I do come from a short-fiction sort of background and I still am trying to stretch my wings more or less and see how much I can push such types of scenes in a long project with more room to work.
And lastly, I do want to talk about something that's difficult to gauge as far as how easily it comes to write, but I do absolutely love -- both as a reader and a writer -- when there are side plot threads that weave throughout a story. Sometimes I drop those and have to shuffle back a bit to pick it up again. Sometimes I like to have a thread buried deep so only a close reader can see the very edges of it in certain lights until it becomes something that needs to be pulled out at the end (: But the feeling of being like "O M G I KNEW IT" when the big reveal happens is just... chef's kiss. Again, not sure if I'm always like...doing it right per se, but I certainly am throwing all my weight behind such a task. And I hope it pays off in the end! :D
2. What do you struggle with as a writer? What hitches and needs lots of revisions, and do you see a pattern in those hitches?
AUGH. Well hi, you caught me! I have trouble writing arguments. I prefer when characters (and people in general lol) get along and have nice things to say to each other or there are clear protagonist/antagonist divisions to allow for some harsh language. When it's two people who care about each other having a fight, it's kind of...I dunno? Draining? I have to put a LOT more brain work into making it sound authentic, and I am talking exponentially more. And I suppose just like with real life, kind of sinking into those emotions can take a bit of a toll at the end of the day. Writing is absolutely hard work. It's emotional as much as it is technical, and don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise!
That said, not that I am perfect, because I am not, but due to my background in both short form writing (flash fiction, short stories, poetry) and my college classes, I am a planner and a questioner and I have an IDEA of where scenes need to go. Sometimes it ends up better if I scoot a scene to a different part of the story, but I'd only be able to see that after planning. I can avoid plot snarls this way more generally. Sometimes if I run across some awkwardness, it's as simple as moving the scene elsewhere to fix. I know sometimes it's more complicated than that, but I guess my best editor advice in this particular type of hitch is practice, and trust your instincts. If it sounds wrong, don't be afraid to question why, and don't be afraid to scrap and start again. (but save the work as a fragment! Might need it later!) I know the question wasn't asking for advice LOL but the second half of the question made me think of this and I figured I'd share (:
3. Is there something you'd like to try your hand at, writing wise, but haven't yet? What might it be?
I love this question! Screenwriting, absolutely. I want to adapt a novel, even if it never gets produced. (at the moment I am not a screenwriter nor do I know anything at all about the process.) It's something that I've been thinking of for some time, not least because the screenwriting teacher at my college was an absolute joy to speak with. Whenever I was in the lounge for our department, she'd try to poach me more or less lol Always asking if I would join her class instead of going to something like math or language. I would have loved to LOL I would have, but the classes always, always, every single year overlapped with other ones I needed for my degree or would have made me need to cut my work hours, which I didn't have a choice about if I wanted to finish school. But YES absolutely if I had been dealt a different hand, I would have taken screenwriting in college as well as everything else (: It seems like a good challenge. But I wouldn't know for sure, having never looked into it.

Fate and Phantasms #192
Tumblr media
Today on Fate and Phantasms we're building the enchanting Caster of Okeanos, which despite her name doesn't actually show up in Okeanos, but rather the fourth pseudosingularity, Salem. She's also one of the last servants in the game (so far) to have her true name hidden, so pretty soon I can stop pointing out how her character build below the cut has true name spoilers. Specifically, this build also includes spoilers for the Salem pseudosingularity, so read at your own peril.
If you'd rather just check out her character sheet, you can find that over here.
Next up: The equal to the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, so just, equal to heaven, I guess.
Circe is a Transmutation Wizard, because she is a witch, and Transmutation is where they stuck polymorph.
Race and Background
Like her protege, Circe is an Elf, but if we want kindasorta falcon wings, that might be tricky. Just kidding, for some reason WotC thought winged elves were a priority, so we got Avariel Elves from an unearthed arcana. This means you only get +2 to a single stat, but we can make that Intelligence thanks to Tasha's for a brain blast. Your subrace gives you 30' of flying speed as long as you don't wear medium or heavy armor (not an issue), as well as the standard elf kit: Darkvision, Fey Ancestry to protect against charms, Trances instead of sleep, and proficiency in Perception thanks to your Keen Senses.
Circe lives on her island alone (if you don't count pigs) so that makes her a Hermit, privy to the secrets of the universe as well as Medicine and replacing the other proficiency (which we'll get back as a class proficiency) with Deception. Tricking men into turning into pigs is kind of a hobby for you.
Ability Scores
Your strongest score should go into Intelligence, that's how you cast spells, and also you're clearly more intelligent than the men who show up on your island. Speaking of, Charisma is next- you're a witch in the middle of a witch hunt that somehow never got caught, and there's also that whole Pig Island thing. Your Dexterity is also pretty good, it's hard enough to cast spells while walking, let alone flying. Also those heels, oh my fucking god how have you not broken an ankle yet. Your Constitution is above average mostly because I'd feel bad putting it any lower. That means your Wisdom is pretty low. You publicly introduce yourself as a witch in the middle of the Salem Witch Trials, and you're pretty flighty in general. Finally, dump Strength. You're a wizard, and you're clearly not that buff.
Class Levels
Circe is a wizard, meaning she starts off with proficiency in Intelligence and Wisdom saves, as well as Arcana and Religion. When you worship the goddess of magic, there isn't much of a difference, tbh. Speaking of magic, you can cast and prepare Spells using your Intelligence. Your spell slots normally only recharge on long rests, but once per long rest you can get a couple slots back on a short rest thanks to your Arcane Recovery, giving you back slots of a total level equal to half your wizard level rounded up. So when you hit level three, you can get back one 2nd level slot, or two 1st level slots. The thing about wizard is, they get a lot of spells. Six now, and two each level, plus whatever they can scavenge from other wizards. Since Circe's whole power set is "good at magic", there really isn't a set of spells that fit- any spell you could cast would be applicable. So rather than try to boil it down myself, we're just giving a rough guide here. There's a whole ass list on the character sheet, and we'll bring up the super important ones here, but really there's three qualifications: if a spell fits into one of these categories, Circe would probably have it. 1. Is it useful? The most open-ended, but just fill in spaces left by the other 2 with spells you want. I'm not a goddamn baby sitter, pick spells you like. 2. Can it turn one thing into another? Men to pigs, You into Medea, whatever kykeon is made out of into kykeon, this one's pretty easy to spot. 3. Can it help someone sail a ship? A bit specific, but helping the sailors she doesn't turn into pigs is also Circe's thing. Skill empowerment, weather control, that kind of thing. With all that out of the way, the big spells you'll probably want at first level are Mage Armor for not dying, Magic Missile for caster balls, and Sleep to knock out the sailors while you go around turning them to pigs. True Polymorph takes an hour per sailor and you need to recharge with a long rest, so this’ll take a while.
At second level, you become a Transmutation Savant, giving you all sorts of bonuses, like how copying transmutation spells into your book is cheaper and faster now. You can also make Minor Alchemy, turning 1 cubic foot of wood, stone, iron, copper, or silver, into another material on that list over the course of 10 minutes. You're not strong enough to shatter wooden chains either, but hopefully someone on your team is. This transformation lasts up to an hour or until you lose concentration, then it turns back to its regular form.
Third level wizards get Cantrip Formulas, letting you swap out one cantrip you know with a cantrip you don't know at the end of a long rest. You also get second level spells, like Alter Self to turn into Medea (among other benefits), and Gust of Wind to help out with sailing.
Use your first Ability Score Improvement to get a Keen Mind- always knowing which way you're facing and the angle the sun should be at are both really useful on the open sea. It also rounds up your Intelligence for stronger spells, and you can make your DM's life hell by remembering things up to a month after they happened.
Fifth level wizards get third level spells. Feign Death will help fake Mata Hari’s hanging later on, and Bestow Curse is super useful, since it can give a creature disadvantage on one kind of save. Like, say, wisdom saves. I wonder if there's a spell you like that requires a wisdom save coming up?
Sixth level transmutation wizards can create a Transmuter's Stone, a tiny object that gives its holder one of several benefits. When you make the stone, and if you're holding it while casting a transmutation spell, you can choose its beneft from the following: Darkvision, increased speed, proficiency in constitution saves, or resistance to one of acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder. You can only make one at a time after 8 hours of work, so don't try to stack them.
Seventh level wizards get fourth level spells, and you could get polymorph now if you really want, but you can also get that spell later for free, so if you're patient, you can get another spell now. If you do go for polymorph, it forces a wisdom save on a creature, and if they fail the save or they're willing, you can turn one creature into a beast with a CR equal to or less than the target's CR or level. All of the creature's stats are replaced by the new creature's, outside of alignment and personality. If it drops to 0 HP in this form, and hour passes, or you drop concentration, they turn back to normal. You can also cast other fourth level spells, like Control Water for sailing, Fabricate to turn... barley, just looked it up, into kykeon. Or any raw materials into a finished product that is Large or smaller.
At eighth level, you get another ASI that'll let you max out your Intelligence for super strong spells. That, plus your curses, will make your polymorph super hard to resist. When you get it.
Ninth level wizards get fifth level spells, like Control Winds and Skill Empowerment, as well as Scrying.
A tenth level transmuter is a Shapechanger, giving you the polymorph spell for free. You can also cast it on yourself once per short rest for free, but only if you turn into something CR 1 or lower. Sadly Medea isn't a beast or CR 1, but it doesn't hurt to practice. Also, yeah! You can now turn pretty much anyone into a Pig (CR 0, so there’s no excuse) or if you want to weaponize it, a Giant Boar (CR 2). Just promise to turn them back if they do your bidding. Still only lasts an hour, but they don’t have to know that.
Eleventh level wizards get sixth level spells. There really isn’t anything specifically Circe-like I want at this level, so just grab whatever your heart wants. There will be time for specifics later.
At twelfth level you get another ASI, and since your intelligence is maxed out we can diversify. Grab the War Caster feat for advantage on concentration saves (very good for pigmaking), the ability to cast spells with your hands full (not applicable), and best of all, you can cast spells as opportunity attacks if that spell as an action casting time and targets a creature. Oh hey, guess what spell fits that description?
Thirteenth level casters get seventh level spells! Again, not necessarily anything you need from here, but Plane Shift is always cool. Maybe you can stumble onto the pig dimension or something.
Your last goody from the transmutation specialty is to become a Master Transmuter, burning your transmuter stone in one go for a burst of magical power. Afterwards, you can’t make a new one until you take a long rest. You can use this for a Major Transformation, permanently changing a medium or smaller nonmagical object into another of similar size & mass (you also can’t cheese value out of this) over the course of 10 minutes. Alternatively, you make a Panacea, removing all curses, diseases, and poisons from a single creature, while also healing it back to full health. That’s some good eating. Going even further, you can Restore Life to cast Raise Dead without a spell slot. Death is a pretty hard line in the Nasuverse, but if anyone could do it it’d probably be Circe. Finally, you can Restore Youth to reduce a creature’s age by 3d10 years without extending their lifespan. You’ve clearly used that on yourself a couple times, but I can’t blame you.
Fifteenth level wizards get eighth level spells, and for once there is something I want to get. You might not use Scylla in-game, but hey, giant sea monsters are cool, so use either Summon Greater Demon, Dominate Monster, or Illusory Dragon to get one, depending on your preferred method.
You get yet another ASI, so bump up your Constitution for better concentration and more health- remember, health gets added retroactively, so that’s 16 extra this level, not one.
At seventeenth level you finally get ninth level spells, giving you access to Mass Polymorph for a proper pig banquet. This one is limited to only half the targets’ levels, but a pig is still CR 0, so it shouldn’t be a big issue. However, if you’re feeling really cruel, you can use True Polymorph for a more... permanent solution. If you keep concentration up for a full hour, the change lasts until it is dispelled. You can also turn objects into creatures, or creatures into objects, but none of those are particularly in character.
Eighteenth level wizards get Spell Mastery, giving you a 1st & 2nd level spell that you can cast for absolutely free, no restrictions. You can always change it later, but I highly suggest Magic Missile so you always have some damage on standby, and Alter Self for the versatility of it.
Your penultimate level grants you your ultimate ASI, so bump up your Charisma for an easier time tricking sailors. It doesn’t do much for the build, but at this point it doesn’t need to.
Your final level of the build gives you two Signature Spells, 3rd level spells that you can cast once per short rest without spending a spell slot. Sadly polymorph is a fourth level spell so it isn’t in the running, but Bestow Curse and Tidal Wave are good runners up. I never said you had to be nice to sailors, just help them out occasionally.
Pros and Cons
Pros
Polymorph is one of the easiest ways to utterly shut down an enemy if it hits, at the very least buying you an hour to run away and regroup. It’s also very funny.
The Transmuter’s Stone is a very powerful support tool, protecting you and giving you healing options wizards don’t normally get. You also come loaded with tools like Skill Empowerment, which is just flexible enough to be useful even when you’re not on a ship.
You get concentration free flight, which is incredibly useful for a spellcaster. Being able to completely avoid an enemy’s front line and turn their back line into pigs is very useful.
Cons
The reason your flight being concentration free is such a big deal is because a lot of your spells use concentration. Honestly, your saves aren’t that bad (esp. with war caster) but it still limits your options, especially when your signature move requires concentration.
While your stone is powerful, it has a huge recharge time to contend with, requiring a long rest followed by an extra 8 hours of work, and the entire time between now and then you might as well not have a subclass. It’s a pretty harsh penalty for actually using your class feature.
It takes a while for this build to go from level one to casting polymorph, so if you want a build you can jump right into and feel like the character, this build definitely isn’t what you’re looking for.

For the Last Time- Nerve Agents are NOT the Only Chemical Weapons: a “Golden Lancehead, Etc...” Science Review
So this one is probably going to be shorter than other ones I’ve done for this show, but having conveniently just refreshed my hospital decon team certification, taken a cumulative exam in EHS, and watched this episode (I’m a tad behind), I needed to do some talking on it.
Tumblr media
Awl - X-Ray + Penny - Duct Tape + Jack - CD + Hoagie Foil - Guts + Fuel + Hope - Wilderness + Training + Survival - Father + Bride + Betrayal - Lidar + Rogues + Duty - Nightmares - Seeds + Permafrost + Feather - Friends + Enemies + Border - Mason + Cable + Choices - Bitter Harvest - Kid + Plane + Cable + Truck - Tesla + Bell + Edison + Mac -
To recap, after Oversight’s death from cancer (season 5 has an absolutely wild timeline so far), Mac seeks out the help of former classmate Frankie to help him develop a new treatment modality based on the venom of a very rare, critically endangered lancehead viper. The venom is extremely dangerous, and can also, it turns out, be chemically altered to become a very potent nerve agent. Frankie unknowingly provides the information to create the nerve agent to the episode’s bad guy, and the race is on to stop the agent from being released into an airport and poisoning a bunch of people.
Intro to the Golden Lancehead
Tumblr media
Since the episode centers around the Golden Lancehead Viper, we should probably start by talking about what they are:
Bozer described the Golden Lancehead as “One of the rarest and deadliest snakes in the world. Found only on one island off the coast of Sao Paulo, the Brazilian Government has made it illegal to transport or own.” Then, quoting a nature documentary: “The golden lancehead’s venom targets the nervous system of it’s prey with pinpoint accuracy- causing blood blisters, intestinal bleeding, tissue necrosis, hemmorrhage...”
Golden Lanceheads are a real type of snake that really do only live on a tiny island off the coast of Sao Paulo, Brazil. They are 28-inch-long, cream and yellow snakes with a lance-shaped head and a diamond-like pattern of scales.
Tumblr media
The island, called Queimada Grande, is uninhabited and travel there is forbidden, an order enforced by the Brazilian Navy. This is both to protect the viper, which is listed as critically endangered, and to protect the humans- given the remoteness of the island and the danger posed by the wildlife, it would be very dangerous for rescuers to come find you if you became injured or were bitten by any of the multiple venomous creatures that live there.
In the episode, Mac and Frankie travel to a pet shop in Sao Paulo to collect a sample of the venom from an illegally acquired snake. In real life, there is a lucrative black market for the species, which can fetch up to $30,000 per snake, meaning Mac paying $20,000 for a sample of venom would not have been necessarily unheard-of.
The pet shop owner tells them that the person who ventured to the island died from a bite, describing it as (paraphrased) “his face swelled, blood poured from everywhere, and even though they cut off his arm to try to save him at the hospital, he died anyway.”
Tumblr media
Due in all likelihood to the fact that the island is uninhabited and forbidden, there has never actually been an official documented bite in a human from this species (though unofficial reports suggest it can indeed be deadly). Chemical analysis of the venom indicates it is likely the most potent and fastest-acting venom of it’s genus, though it is likely a lot more effective at killing birds and large insects than mammals given its primary choice of prey.
Bites from other vipers in its genus run a mortality rate of between 3% (with medical care) and 7% (without medical care). Most of their venoms are made of many different sugar-like molecules called glycans which disrupt proteins in animal cells, often killing the cells. Lancehead venom is similarly cytotoxic, causing the death of cells in tissue and blood and disruption of normal blood clotting, causing severe bleeding. Symptoms include pain and extreme swelling of the area around the bite, followed by tissue death and symptoms of nausea, dizziness, headache, and sweating. Shortly after that, there is a disruption in blood clotting, causing severe bleeding throughout the body. This severe bleeding, along with kidney failure and bleeding into the brain, is typically what causes death in those 3-7% of cases. Occasionally amputation is attempted as part of treatment, but it is usually due to the extreme amount of tissue death that occurs surrounding the bite, not necessarily to stop the spread of the venom as alleged in the episode.
So basically, Bozer and his nature documentary are largely correct in where the Golden Lancehead lives, its legal restrictions, and the symptoms resulting from envenomation by lancehead vipers. The only thing that is not accurate is the neurotoxicity part- lancehead venom is hemotoxic (blood toxic) and cytotoxic (toxic to cells and tissues), but there is no indication that it causes any kind of neurotoxicity (brain toxic).
Cancer Treatment from Snake Venoms
In the episode, Mac describes the research he and Frankie are undertaking as “The therapy uses toxins extracted from snake venom, which billions of years of evolution have taught it to attack the weakest cells in a creature’s body to target cancerous tumors.”
Tumblr media
One of the great things about snake venoms (and honestly animal venoms) is that they are not single toxins. A single snake’s venom has nearly a hundred different bioactive proteins, enzymes, glycans, and other chemicals. One of the great things is because so many of these toxins are bioactive in some way, venoms give pharmacologists a pallette of various bioactive substances already in existence that they can test and use to create drugs.
Several chemicals we use as drugs were originally discovered in snake venom. For example, enalapril (a blood pressure lowering medicine), eptifibatide (a blood thinner), hemocoagulase (a clotting agent), and ximelagatran (a blood thinner), were all discovered originally as components in snake venom. Some studies into king cobra and saw scaled viper venom has shown possible anti-cancer properties (in the form of drugs that prevent tumors from growing, prevent blood vessels from growing in cancer cells, and prevent cancer cells from spreading throughout the body), though none of these have been developed into therapeutic drugs.
Since there are literally hundreds of bioactive chemicals, enzymes, and proteins in snake venom, it’s definitely not impossible that someone could choose to do this research, and definitely not impossible that someone would be able to find something useful in treating cancer or any other disease. In fact, since the venom is so cytotoxic, there is a possibility that there is a compound in it that has a preference for certain cancer cells. The problems with what Mac says are mainly:
1. that as far as we know, nothing in venom would selectively choose cancer cells based on their “weakness”- generally drugs that do target cancer cells target the fact that they have mutated in a certain way that lets certain chemicals find them or that they are fast-dividing cells (similar to hair or skin cells) and fast-disrupted cells get killed first if a chemical disrupts cell division.
2. Snakes have only been around for 143million years, and venomous creatures have only been around for 170million years. Even one billion years is a LOT longer than that. Mac could have said hundreds of millions and it would still have been technically correct at least grammatically.
Chemical Weapons from Snake Venom:
So what about chemical weapons?
I mean, sure, if you consider that there are hundreds of chemicals in any snake venom, at least one of them is probably going to meet at least some of the criteria for a good chemical weapon. Whether or not that chemical weapon would count as a “Nerve Agent” is kind of up to the substance itself.
Tumblr media
Chemical weapons are weapons that fall into one of the following categories:
Nerve Agents- these are things like VX, Sarin, Tabun, and other agents that attack the system that breaks down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Without that system, too much acetylcholine builds up, causing constricted pupils, twitching, excessive saliva and mucous, eye pain, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, seizures, and death if not treated promptly.
Blood Agents- these are things like phosgene, arsine, and cyanide that disrupt the blood’s ability to transport oxygen through the body. These cause symptoms like difficulty breathing, dizziness, headache, increased heart rate and respiratory rate, nausea and vomiting, and eventually seizures and death.
Blister Agents- These are things like lewisite and mustard gas that cause severe irritation to skin, eyes, mucous membranes, and lungs. These cause symptoms of pain, redness and large blisters on skin, difficulty breathing and swelling/blisters in the lungs and airway, loss of vision, fever, and nausea/vomiting. Death either occurs due to swelling and blisters in the airway or infection.
Choking Agents- These are things like phosgene and chlorine that irritate eyes and airways. They cause symptoms of watering eyes, coughing, chest tightness, and nausea/vomiting. They eventually cause severe pulmonary edema which can cause death.
Incapacitating Agents- These are agents like LSD, BZ, and fentanyl which are not necessarily designed to kill their targets, but leave them unable to respond to an attack either by making them less conscious (BZ, fentanyl) or by causing severe hallucinations and delusions that prevent them from being able to carry out their normal duties (BZ, LSD).
While there are many neurotoxic snake venoms that are known to have chemicals that interact with acetylcholine (causing paralysis, respiratory failure, and seizures), as far as I was able to find, the lancehead viper genus is not one of them. In fact, despite what Bozer said, there’s not a lot of neurotoxicity at all in the Golden Lancehead Viper’s venom- it’s primarily hemotoxic and cytotoxic.
So, basically, while it might be possible to make a nerve agent out of certain types of venom (though why would you, exactly? We’ve got tons of nerve agents, we know a lot about them, and they’re not exactly hard to create in a lab.) it would be more likely that you’d be in the market to find a new blood agent, blister agent, or even a choking or incapacitating agent if you were using Golden Lancehead Viper venom to discover it.
Just seems like a lot of work when you could get potentially a lot more useful venom legally and less dangerously.
But the more I think about it, I think the writers chose the snake due to it’s difficulty to acquire and it’s mystery, the chemical agent due to it’s well-known-ness, and fudged things so they worked together in the story.
But Now, the Real Question:
Could snake venoms eat through metal using acid, and would ionizing radiation change that?
“Here’s another fun fact- when a Golden Lancehead attacks, it’s venom reacts with the iron in the red blood cells of it’s prey, creating an acidic byproduct strong enough to eat flesh and corrode metal.” -Mac
Tumblr media
Certain snake venoms actually do become more acidic or more alkaline in their victim’s bodies, and in the presence of certain metal ions. However, as far as I was able to tell, the most acidic a venom would normally become was about a pH of 4 (somewhere between soda and coffee) and the most alkaline was about 9 (somewhere around baking soda). So not really capable of “eating flesh” (though enzymatic activity could digest proteins in the victims’ tissues) and it would take a lot longer than the episode showed to cause the corrosion necessary to dissolve a lock.
That’s not to say that a specially designed and purified chemical weapon created from a compound in snake venom would be different than the og snake venom, but the likelihood that ionizing radiation would change it so drastically would be a real bummer for a terrorist, since uncontrolled releases of your weapons are definitely not ideal.
Conclusion:
Overall, there was definitely some real passable science in here, but some of the dialogue choices were so poor that it made it difficult to respect. But generally decent science, even if the “cooler” stuff wouldn’t necessarily have worked.

Te amo
I am working on a few of the other prompts and a part 2 to prompt 4 the soulmate au I just recently got another puppy and I still have uni work to do so I'm a bit behind schedule with these and I'm so sorry. Hopefully this little kinda songfic makes up for it.
13th doctor x female reader
Warnings: swearing as usual, fluffy, sad thoughts, twist the original songs meaning, long as fuck.
Probably terrible as its my first songfic
I don't know much Spanish so some of the examples later on are Google translated and I know it can be wrong so I do apologise for any mistranslations
This is based off Rhiannas song Te Amo but I'm switching it up a little. I dont why 13th doctor came into my head when I was listening to it but it gave me this lil oneshot idea so enjoy! The picture is not mine but the rainbow effect added is done by me! Same for the picture later on.
Tumblr media
I've been travelling with this amazing alien for a whole year now. The adventures are always amazing if she's there! The others sometimes complain and say its boring, especially on a junk planet but to see her face light up with excitement makes my day and it well worth the dirt we cover ourselves on by the time we are done. And when she finds something that she thought was useful and it turns out, it's not her scrunch is amazing.
Okay, I'll admit it. I'm in love with this alien. I know, weird, a human and an alien together? But I can't help it! I'm completely besotted with her. If she even looks in my direction, my legs go to jelly and I get butterflies. I know, cheesy. But thats exactly how I feel around her. I barely want to touch her because I nearly fainted the last few times. And I fear she may pick up on how I'm distancing myself from her. I don't want to break her heart and leave, the thought of her look kills me as is so I'm trying to get her to kick me off.
It doesn't seem to be working though. I've been distancing myself since I found out about how I feel, which is now 6 months ago and she's trying to get me to be as close as I was with her.
I'll tell her. On one of our amazing adventures but I can't do it straight forward, it's making me sick with anxiety just thinking about it. I'll fancy it up, make her work it out. Whenever we are next to each other and the moment is right, I'll tell her in another language!
I finally get out of bed after I finished writing in my diary. I slip some comfy clothes on and head out to the TARDIS library and hope no one is there, especially her. I'll be distracted and right now, I need to concentrate. I wonder the warm halls, grateful that the TARDIS had considered my preferences. I think the TARDIS likes me more than the others because I talk to her and show her gratefulness for taking us somewhere amazing and I chat to her regularly and I try to involve her in my conversations. The others find it weird, except for the Doctor, she just smiles and joins in with me. Im still learning how to translate her but I think I've sort of got it.
I reach my hand forward and grab the aged bronze doorknob and open to the giant room. There were so many floors that an elevator had to be used to access some of them as the Doctor said "walking would literally take weeks to reach some floors". Thankfully the TARDIS organises them to make them easier to find. I looked forward and saw an interactive map in front of me. My hands touched the screen and many subjects and categories came up. Anything ranging from kiddie tales to straight up smut, I have a feeling either River or Missy are to blame for that addition.
I've never met them but the TARDIS showed me videos from her database and brought books to my attention about them. They both seem very dirty minded people so I'm not surprised those are there. I wonder if the Doctor has ever stumbled upon this section or is it for none Doctor eyes only? If she does know about them, has she ever read one? No, don't go there you stupid brain! She probably doesn't know!
I quickly stop that train of thought and catch my breath. I've never thought about those kinds of things about anyone before. Stupid Timelord, making me go all weird and think dirty things. Now my face is all red, I really hope I'm alone in here. I quickly focus back to the task at hand, finding a new language to learn. The TARDIS seemed to know where to go and blue arrows appeared, guiding me to the right section in what could be a maze.
As I walking, I felt excitement rise within me. What if she felt the same way? What if she was impressed by how far I wanted to go just to say those 3 words? Would her hazel honey eyes sparkle with delight? Would she scronch her nose in amazement?
Before I knew it, I'd arrived at the language learning section and there were many alien languages but the TARDIS seemed to have a better idea of what would be perfect for me as a white hardback book fell off the 4th shelf onto the wooden floor. I picked it up and noticed how smooth the cover was and how old yet unused it looked. The white was a little off, almost a dull cream from ageing which made the gold writing harder to read. The title was simple:
Spanish basics and need to knows.
I did always find Spanish in school fun to learn, more than French or German anyway and I don't wanna stereotype this into a typical French is the language of romance. I never really found it romantic sounding compared to Spanish.
I picked up the book and quickly flicked through to the right page and took a note on my phone as to what the translation was and put the worn book away. I quietly thanked the TARDIS and rushed out of the library and back into my room where I could practice without getting caught.
A few weeks have passed since I picked up the new words and practiced them until I was confident and had the TARDIS' approval that I was saying it right. Today the Doctor wanted to take us to this party in the 18th century and we all decided to dress for the part once we landed.
Yaz was wearing a beautiful black and red ballroom gown, accented with little bows around the bottom and lace cuffs. She had her black hair curled into a ponytail. It was simple and cute, much like her style normally. Graham and Ryan wore similar suits but Graham wore green accents and Ryan wore yellow accents.
I let the TARDIS pick my dress. She picked a black and dark blue ballroom gown with blue roses on the bottom. It had black lace underneath and blue lace as the cuffs. The gown also seemed to glitter slightly in the light making me sparkle very subtly. I put my comfy boots on as you couldn't see my shoes as I walked anyway so why did it matter? With all the running we do, I'm not risking my ankles with heels, thank you very much. I had my (h/c) hair in (fave style). It suited my dress perfectly.
Tumblr media
I nearly choked on oxygen when I saw how hot the Doctor looked in her suit. It took me a few moments to realise we match. We both blushed at the realisation. Of course the TARDIS makes us match! No wonder why she was more than eager to help me pick an outfit! Stupid sentient ship, shipping us already!
I quickly cleared my throat and complimented everyone on how amazing they looked but I just couldn't take my eyes off the Doctor for long. She was like a magnet for my eyes. Someone help before she realises!
"Don't we all look brilliant? Perfect for the party! 18th century Yorkshire to be exact! What a great century for you guys. Now then, this party is for Nobles and higher, as per usual in these times. Ryan, I suggest you keep in mind about any racist comments that may come out. But as long as you say your Graham's personal butler, you should be welcomed with little resistance. And Yaz, I want you to be (y/n)'s personal maid. That does mean you'll have to follow your so called "masters" around and do anything they ask unfortunately and Graham, (y/n), please act like the others around you and use them. Unfortunately this is the only way all 5 of us can join the party. You'll be fine as long as you bite your tongues. Now the Noble Edward Collins is the host so be sure to thank him for inviting you, even though you technically weren't. And try not to get too drunk, I know what you humans are like! Now follow me." The Doctor explained. I was going to tell the Doctor today, but I guess, I'll have to wait.
The Doctor opened the doors and we were in a cupboard under some gorgeous marble stairs. As we walked towards the party I noticed some family portraits along the walls. They were a very beautiful looking family. The mother had long blonde hair and pale blue eyes. The father was buff, long brown hair and daring brown eyes. There were two children, a girl and a boy. The girl had long brown hair and sparkling blue eyes, whilst the son had blonde hair and brown eyes. They also had a brown greyhound dog laying by the sons feet. The son must be the host, Edward. He looked not much older than 10 in the last painting but the daughter was no where to be found in the portrait and theu all looked mournful. Is she dead and is that the picture capturing the moment of grief? Why would anyone want that? It's so strange, even for this time period.
The Doctor held me and Yaz close, stopping us in our tracks. My heart was racing at the simple touch. But as soon as the touch was there, it was gone. "I hope its okay with you (y/n) but you're going to have to be married to someone."
My heart stopped for a moment and I nearly choked on air. "What? Why?"
"Because women like yourself would have been married as young as 13 or 14. Now your only choices are me and Graham. You can't choose Ryan as he's supposed to be a butler and you can't choose Yaz as she's your maid. The choice is yours, I just need to know wether or not I should refer to you as my darling wife or not?"
What. The. Fuck.
Why did her even calling me that l, turn me on? Obviously, I'm going to choose her but I'm going to have to perfect my reasoning here.
"As much as I love Graham, it's going to be awkward if I have to kiss him or anything because he's like my grandad! I guess you'll do Timelord. Come on then husband, we don't want to be late to the dancefloor!" I spoke clearly hoping she didn't notice how excited I actually was to have even a hint of a relationship with her. It may be fake but ill take anything when it comes to her.
We arrived at the welcome committee and handed our cards over, aka the psychic paper. We were going as Mr and Mrs (last name). The Doctor was holding my hand this entire time and it's driving me insane. I don't know if she can feel my racing pulse under her fingers but if she can I hope she puts it down to excitement! We walked down the most grandest staircase you would ever lay your eyes on.
First we walked around, greeting everyone as they came up to us or if she dragged me to someone she knew, but not personally. She was cute when she was fangirling over these people. Yaz found it annoying as she just wanted to party but I couldn't help it. The way her eyes shimmer with recognition was more beautiful than any galaxy she could ever take us. Sometimes her eyes flickered with admiration and it did make me have jealousy for just a moment before I remembered, I'm staying with her and they aren't .
As the party moved on we met the host Edward. He looked a lot different than in his paintings. He was around 20 years old now and his blonde hair was below his shoulders. He looked a lot like his father with his muscley build. And he was very charismatic which I did not like as he poured all his charm into the Doctor. Does everyone here know that he's gay or does he see through the Doctors disguise? Either way, it was rubbing me the wrong way. I quickly excused myself with Yaz and walked into the bathroom.
"I did not like him. I do not like this Edward guy. Something about him rubs me completely wrong. He's handsome but something is telling me he knows the Doctor isn't a man."
"I felt the same way. He knows something we don't. Before we go out there again, do you mind if I ask you a question?" Yaz asked. My mind was racing a hundred miles an hour. She knows. The jig is up with Yaz. "How do you feel about her, honestly? One minute you 2 are inseparable, then you distance yourself and now you are a nervous wreck around her! I won't judge but I just want to make sure my theory is correct."
Shit. I guess I really was obvious. Does she know?
"If your theory is about me falling hopelessly in love with the Doctor then you'd be correct. I can't help it. I'm going to tell her how I feel without being completely stupid. I just need a right moment to say it." I spoke with a heavy sigh. Hopefully, Yaz can help create that moment thay I need. She nods her head and opens the door. We walk back to the Doctor and notice Edward has gone to other guests and she was talking to Graham. I looked around and saw Ryan flirting with a pretty lady near the food table. Why am I not surprised?
A few hours had passed and the Doctor seemed bored with standing and talking so I made a plan in my head. I grabbed her hand and pulled her to the dancefloor as the next song came on. I didn't quite know how to dance properly but I knew the basics if it. She has to lead and I simply follow suit. It took a few moments but I got the hang of it with the Doctors help. Soon we were dancing so gracefully underneath the most beautiful candelabra that lit up her face perfectly.
Her hair swayed to our perfect dance ever so gently. Her eyes sparkled with amusement and her lips were in a permanent smile. She even laughed a couple of times. Then as the music slowed down to a pace that was perfect, I grabbed her waist and looked her. My heart was going crazy and my legs were about to buckle but I had rehearsed my lines. I can do this.
"Hey Doc. Its been an amazing time with you but I can't continue this without being honest with you. But everytime I get close, I back down in fear. So I'm going to let you figure it out. Doctora te amo. Entiendo que si no sientes lo mismo y me iré si quieres. (Doctor i love you. i understand if you don't feel the same way and i'll leave if you want.)" I spoke with as much passion and intention as I could. I looked into her eyes and saw her confused and trying to work out what I said. I would find it cute if my heart was beating right out of my chest. "Well, I've had a great time but I'm fucking knackered. I'm calling it night. I'll be heading to the TARDIS if you need me."
"I'll come with ya. I'm knackered as well and we both need each other to undo the corsets and mine is starting to hurt a little bit. How we used to do this for a full day, everyday, is beyond my understanding. As beautiful as we look, I don't think its worth the pain this will bring in the morning." Yaz spoke with a slight mumble as proof of her mental state and finishing with a yawn. I chuckled at her state and walked back to the TARDIS with a small amount of chat along the way.
She is right though. These corsets really do hurt you after a while, I'm glad I chose not to wear heels or else I'll be fucked for in the morning. I would literally scream. I think the Doctor had the right idea in wearing a suit, no pain. I do feel bad for leaving her but I just need some space after basically admitting everything that's been built up within me for too damn long. Maybe I should tell Yaz how it went and maybe she can help determine if the Doctor is happy or not.
We walked back into the wardrobe room and I helped Yaz out of her corset. She immediately sighed in relief. She finished getting herself into comfy clothes and started to untie my ribbon.
"So did you tell her?"
"Sort of. I basically told her everything but in Spanish. I just hope it doesn't change anything, except in a positive way, of course! If she wants me gone, I've told her that it's fine and I understand. She's very socially awkward and as cute as I find it, it may not help me in this situation. Do you have any clues on how she may react once she figures it out?"
Yaz stopped untying my corset for a moment and placed 1 finger upon her chin in thought. Her eyes were almost shut and seemed almost completely black in the light. After what seemed like forever, she took her finger off her chin and beamed a toothy smile. Her eyes sparkled as she remembered something and seemed to gleam slightly menacingly. A smirk replaced her smile soon after.
"There's a few times she's shown affection towards you. And I mean romantic affection. She always chooses to hold your hand over anyone else's if given the choice. She always steps I'm front of you when an enemy threatens to kill us all or hurt us in anyway. When you go wandering around on your own, she's terrified thats she's lost you forever to an enemy we don't even know of!" Yaz starts explaining carefully as if she's worried on how to word it.
"Those are just friendly affec-"
"I wasn't done. I was warming up." Yaz interrupts me as I was about to go into a self deprecating speech on how I'm just a friend to everyone and never a lover. "She always looks to see your face on adventures because she secretly loves your reactions, bad or good. When the Master revealed himself, she looked straight at you for support on how she should react. When she came back from the Kasavin, she ran straight to you and made sure you were ok first before any of us. When we were in the Tsungra medical ship, the first person she asked for was you! Whilst she was unconscious on board the ship, she kept mumbling your name, over and over again. When she saw how gorgeous you looked today, I thought she'd take you right there on the spot! She fucking loves you (y/n)! You're just so unbelievably blind to it all!"
Yaz was almost red with rage. Did she really do all that, for me? The TARDIS mustve read my mind and seemed to hum positively in reply. If everything Yaz said is true then she'll be so happy about it and maybe we can be a thing! But then again, maybe losing so many in a similar position as me will turn her away. Maybe her soul is awry and she's asking why right now.
Once I had gotten changed I went to sleep almost straight away, I suppose all that dancing and social ques having tired me out more than I thought.
I woke up to a soft knock on my door. I rubbed my (e/c) eyes and told them I'd be a few minutes as I've only just woken up. It wasn't until I finished brushing my (h/c) hair that I remembered what happened yesterday. All the panic rushed within me at once and I nearly threw up. I took several deep breaths and opened the door.
"GRAHAM THANK FUCK ITS YOU!" I almost shouted at him. He looked a little bewildered for a moment before he seemed to remember what brought him here in the first place.
"Hello Love, I'm here because Doc wanted to speak with you privately in the library. She says that the TARDIS will guide you to her location. She seemed a little off after you and Yaz left. Did something happen? Is everything ok?" Graham asked cautiously. He must be so confused.
"Sort of. I'll explain more when I get back but what do you mean by "a little off"?"
"Well she seemed lost in all sense of the word. She kept muttering "Te Amo" all the time. She was all over the place aswell. She got me and Ryan back here not long after you guys. Something about not trusting Ryan to not get alcohol poisoning without her around. She hasn't really left the library since if I'm honest. She's been in there for 12 hours. I only know she wants you because she whattsapped me on my phone. Whatever is going on, please sort it out, she's starting to really worry me. She hasn't been the same since that Master guy came around." Graham spoke clearly, albeit confused. I nodded my head and walked in the opposite direction to him and hoped the TARDIS would take me there quicker than normal. I want to treat this like a plaster, rip it off in one go.
Sooner than I realised, I grabbed the all too familiar door knob of the library. I took a deep breath and walked in. A blue line appeared towards the interactive map. I awakened the console and I saw a black screen with a few words on it. It looked like a message with how it was presented.
Hello (y/n)! Don't walk until you calm. Breath deeply and try not to panic. I promise you, all will work out in the end. I see more than you realise and I know my thief better than anyone whoever stepped foot into my being. I know of her main problem about the situation. If she loves you, drink this. It won't hurt, she'll know what it is.
The TARDIS
I should have been surprised by this new knowledge that she could speak to me, in a way, but I've seen so much and I am so tender hooks so I didn't take much notice of it. I quickly sat down and tried to control my breathing. After about 5 or so minutes, I felt calm enough to finally meet up with her and hear what she has to say.
I followed the blue line carefully until I spotted her in a comfy room. She mustve gotten changed at some point as she was wearing her usual rainbow outfit, minus the jacket. She was sat on a deep purple sofa, legs curled into her body. Her shoes were on the carpeted floor underneath her, seemingly forgotten for the moment. There were many books surrounding us from many cultures and spieces. One wall had a cozy wood burning fireplace crackling within the silence that surrounded us.
Her face was scrunched within deep thought. Her eyes sparkling with an emotion that I couldn't quite put my finger on; hope, sorrow or excitement? Her lips had a small smirk gracing them and her teeth had bitten a small part of it. Her hands were holding a book in a way where I couldn't quite see what it was.
I didn't want to disturb her as she looked so ethereal with the warm glow of the fire highlighting her in the perfect way. Unfortunately, it's plaster time and I wanted this sorted sooner rather than later. I took a deep breath took in the picture for memory.
"Hey, Graham said you wanted to talk to me? Is everything ok?" I asked gently and as softly as I could so she was carefully brought out of her little world. I didn't want to scare her. She raised her eyes from her book for a moment and bookmarked the page she was at with a little TARDIS paperclip. She placed the book on the table at the side of her and patted the seat next to her.
As I sat down my nerves were through the roof. She gave nothing away as she stared at me for a minute, as if assessing something about me.
"Why are you so nervous? Calm down. You are right, It is to do with last night. You left pretty abruptly after basically confessing your feelings to me. I was so confused, not just about what you said but about myself and what I wanted to do about you." The Doctor spoke monotonously. Did she mean get rid of me? "I had to first of all, find out what you said, well done on learning a new language by the way, one even I'm not fluent at. I'm guessing the old girl had something to do with that idea. Not that, you aren't smart enough but you don't know what languages I do or don't know."
The Tardis seemed to chuckled at the accusation and I simply nodded my head. "I wanted to buy myself time and to impress you."
"You impressed me a long time ago Miss (l/n). That is just a cherry on top. After I figured out what you said, no thanks to my old friend here, I went through a lot of thinking. I've not been in many relationships and you know my history regarding the ones I have been in. You know, River and Missy? And I have such a bad past with it ending in nothing but tears for me. I always lose those I care for deeply." She spoke with tears spilling from her gorgeous eyes. I grabbed her face gently and wiped away the stray tears that managed to escape their home.
"That was when you were a man. You're a woman now, everything is so different. Relationships can be heartbreaking. I know what you're main problem is and the TARDIS has a solution to that. I just need you to tell me the truth. How do you feel about me? Do you want me to stay or not?" I stated holding the small shot glassed amount of liquid in my hand. The liquid was golden and sparkled slightly in the light. There were specks of orange and silver within it and it was as hot as a nice cup of (hot drink). Her eyes sparkled with hope and shock. Her lips were smiling wide. And she seemed to giggle at the sight of it. She held it for a moment as if examining it like a rare artefact, maybe it was. Either way, I trust her judgement and if she's happy about it, then so am I. Once she had analysed the drink, she practically leapt into my arms and pushed me down on my back. She smelled of custard creams and the TARDIS which was odd but completely her and I couldn't imagine her smelling any other way.
"That does solve our problem! What she has just given you is the rarest liquid in the universe seeing as only one thing in the entirety of space can produce it. That drink is known as the nectar of the chosen ones. It's rare as the race that used to make them has practically gone extinct. There's only 3 left in the known universe and you're living in one. That drink is the blood of the TARDIS. It grants you immortality if you drink it. It is said to resemble your favourite beverage no matter who you are. However, it only lasts 100 years and you must drink it every century or else your body clock will kick in and you will age and be as mortal as you are now." She speaks with a warning as we sit up holding holds.
"I have no problem with that. I would sacrifice everything if it meant I got to call you mine. Just please tell me and I'll drink it." I told her with adoration in my eyes.
She held me close and planted a soft and gentle kiss to my lips. It was short but it sent more fireworks than you can imagine through my body. I knew I had found her. She grabbed my waist and whispered next to my ear:
"Te Amo"

The 5 Best Misc. Media Things I Used in 2020
1. The Story Graph (website)
This is a website that is very similar to Goodreads, that tracks the books you have read, allows you to submit reviews and ratings, etc. But it also has other features that are super cool. You can see not only the number of books or pages that you’ve read in a given time frame, but also the genres, average page number per book, and things like pacing and moods of all the books. Basically it has a ton more data than Goodreads, and because of that they can also recommend books that you might like with surprising accuracy. The interface of The Story Graph is so beautiful, and the charts and graphs full of my reading data?? Swoooooon!
2. Chess Sudoku by Cracking the Cryptic (app)
During lockdown, I needed More Things To Occupy My Time, so I broke my long enforced rule of having no games on my phone. But I wanted something that would still feel like my brain was working a little, and I’m so glad I landed on the Chess Sudoku app by Cracking The Cryptic. Regular sudoku rules apply, but then there are added constraints, two of the same number can’t be a knight’s move away for instance. There’s also king and queen variants, and it is so much fun!! If this sounds intimidating, fear not, the app has very clear instructions as well as hints that help you learn the strategy. I cannot recommend this app enough!
3. The Mathematics Genealogy Project (database)
This database is simply amazing to me. You can enter the name of any mathematician with a Ph.D. and find out their mathematical “genealogy” (this means who their advisor was, at which institution, and how they are linked to other mathematicians). Not only is it full of useful info about the greats, but it is also full of useful info about all of my professors! And it is just beautiful.
4. Jeopardy! (TV show)
I don’t think Jeopardy! could be left off of this list. It gave me great comfort to watch it with my partner as we spent days stuck inside, since it was TV to watch that didn’t feel like a waste of time. I have learned a lot from watching Jeopardy!, and one of those things was certainly what a class act Alex Trebek is, and how much he will be missed.
5. The Unmade Podcast (podcast)
There is no shortage of runners-up for the category of podcasts, because I love and listen to… a lot of them, but I only wanted to choose one, and for 2020, it has to be The Unmade Podcast. Brady Haran of Numberphile fame started this podcast with his childhood best friend, Tim Hein, and I honestly checked it out on a whim. The amount of fun these two have making this podcast is enough to keep you smiling all the way through every episode, and in 2020, I needed that frickin joy. I laugh often when I listen, love that there are so many callbacks and inside jokes, and look forward to what surprises and hijinks they will get up to in future episodes. Have a laugh and check it out (you kind of have to start at the beginning).

Funnel Scripts Review – Write Pro Copy In Half The Time
New Post has been published on https://entrepreneurnut.com/funnel-scripts-review/
Funnel Scripts Review – Write Pro Copy In Half The Time
Are you struggling to write great copy to sell your products?
Perhaps you’ve been blowing a brain cell trying to think of what to write in your email sequences that will captivate your audience?
You may have been spending a ton of money on ads only to avail in a measly amount of clicks?
Or maybe you’re trying to promote affiliate offers but people just aren’t clicking your links?
There’s no denying it, good copywriting skills is an essential part of building a successful online business.
Without it, you’ll likely make next to no money and eventually quit.
However, when you get it right then just a few small tweaks can make a huge difference.
For example, as a blogger, I was surprised the first time I made a tiny tweak to a headline by using the free Funnel Scripts headline generator and saw the impact it had on both clicks and sales.
If you’ve been trying to learn copywriting yourself then you’ll already realize it’s difficult and it takes a long time to master.
The common alternative is to pay a professional copywriter to write your copy for you. If you can afford it, that is; they’re pretty expensive.
However, professional copywriter Jim Edwards and his marketing buddy, Russell Brunson have created another alternative that they say is much quicker and more cost-effective.
It’s a push-button software program that can write your sales copy for you. They call it Funnel Scripts.
Since I recently purchased this product, today, I am going to be diving deep into exactly what it can do and whether or not you really need it for your business.
So, here in my Funnel Scripts review 2021 I will give you the lowdown on the complete software, including the free headline generator you can use to test it out before you buy.

Funnel Scripts Review: What Does It Do?
Funnel Scripts has been developed to give everyone the ability to quickly create professional-level sales copy without having to pay expensive copywriters to do it for you.
It works by using templates based on some of the best performing copywriting scripts in history and structuring them around the content you input that is specific to your market, audience and the products or services you are promoting.
Jim Edwards, the creator of the Funnel Scripts software, has included templates to enable you to create sales copy for a large number of reasons including, ad copy, landing pages, video, and written sales letter scripts, bullet scripts, headlines, email sequences, webinars and more.
Basically, you spend a few minutes inputting some data about your audience, product, the benefits and so forth, then press a button. Funnel Scripts will then generate multiple variations that you can choose from.
Who Is Funnel Scripts For?
Most businesses need to use some kind of sales copy. If you’re trying to sell your own products, promote offers as an affiliate, collect leads, you need to write ads or you need to email your subscribers then you will need to have some kind of copy.
As a blogger, I also realized that I can benefit a lot by improving the headlines of my posts.
Copywriting is a hard to learn skill and does not come naturally to most people. However, if you already have this skill then it’s probably not necessary for you to buy Funnel Scripts unless you just want a faster way of doing it.
If copywriting is something that gives you a headache, it’s a task that takes you hours without really knowing how effective it’s going to be or if you outsource it but pay a hefty price for it then Funnel Scripts will be a big benefit to you.

What I Like About Funnel Scripts
When you first buy Funnel Scripts and get inside the member’s area you will notice there is a huge amount of stuff in there for you to dive into.
There are several features I really like, but some of my favorites are the following:
Large Number of Scripts Available
Funnel Scripts is not just a headline generator; it’s not only used for writing ad copy; it can be used for much more than just creating your email sequences.
It is a very powerful program which, gives you the ability to create copy for any kind of purpose you could imagine.
Funnel Scripts Produces Good Quality Copy
When I first heard about Funnel Scripts, I must admit I was a little skeptical as to how good the copy it produces might be.
Many years ago I purchased a headline and sales page generator, but it was mediocre at best. However, that was around 2007 and fortunately, software has come a very long way since then.
I was more than pleasantly surprised to see that the quality of the copy produced by Funnel Scripts not only reads well, but it also keeps to the structure of professionally written copy that creates engagement.
You Can Create Copy Very Quickly
There are no two ways about it, Funnel Scripts is fast.
Compared to writing copy yourself or even outsourcing it to a professional and waiting for your copy to come back, Funnel Scripts can bash out your copy in minutes.
When you use one of the script generators, it will ask you to fill in some boxes with data about your product and target audience. Depending on the script you’re using this can take around 10-20 minutes.
Then, all you do is hit the build button and wham! Your copy is generated.
The copywriting script generators will produce a few different variations for you to choose from, all of which are fully editable by you if you need to.
Free Copywriting Training Included
If you’re using Funnel Scripts then you don’t need to learn copywriting yourself.
However, knowing a bit about the formulas of creating great copy and how it leads your audience to take the action you desire will help you to get even better results with the copy you generate.
I have always been interested in copywriting and the psychology behind it.
While I do now use Funnel Scripts myself, I am still interested in and fully intend to learn more about it to improve my skills in this area.
So I was pleased to see a number of training videos that are also in the member’s area if you do have the inclination to learn more about writing great copy.
Monthly Copywriting webinars
Creator, Jim Edwards, is really passionate and proactive about Funnel Scripts.
Since copywriting is a skill that is close to his heart and he wants his members to get the most out of using his product, he holds monthly training webinars that you can sign up for for free.
You can also watch the latest webinar replay in the member’s area if you can’t make it live.
Pimp My Funnel
If you want expert help with your sales copy, from Jim Edwards himself then you can apply to be featured in an episode of Funnel Scripts Tips, which are Jim’s copywriting tips webinars.
Since there’s so many users of the software it’s not guaranteed that you will get chosen. However, you can keep applying if you want to get his help directly. If you are chosen then it can make a huge difference to your business.
Extra Funnel Scripts Bonuses
When you buy Funnel Scripts you will also notice you get 4 extra bonuses in the member’s area. These bonuses are:
Bonus #1 – Inception Secrets
This is a training that marketer Russell Brunson gave to his inner circle a few years ago. He shows you how to be able to sell anything to anyone and make it seem like it’s their idea to buy from you. It will teach you how to plant the seeds of desire inside a person’s head so they will naturally want to buy your stuff.
Bonus #2 – 5 Fast Funnels
Here they give you access to the 5 most popular and commonly used funnel that you’ll likely need to use online.
Bonus #3 – Copywriting Secrets Master Class
This is a course Jim created to help people get high-impact results from their sales copy without having to hire a copywriter. He also teaches you some simple tweaks that can make a huge difference to your conversions.
Bonus #4- Live Monthly Training with Jim
Each month you can join Jim live on his monthly webinars to learn how to get the most out of Funnel Scripts and sell more stuff.

What I Don’t Like About Funnel Scripts
Funnel Scripts Navigation Is a Bit Crowded
Since there’s so much inside the Funnel Scripts members area it can take you a while to get to grips with it.
Some of the features are hidden within other tabs, which can take you some time to find where everything is when you first use it.
It’s Quite Expensive
The sale price of $797 might be quite steep for a lot of small businesses and solopreneurs to shell out at one time.
However, if creating effective sales copy is a big part of your business then it will save you a lot of money over time not having to pay a professional copywriter, whose fees are usually very high.
Funnel Scripts: What Scripts Are Available?
In this section, I’ll share with you all the different kinds of scripts you can create and show you screenshots of each section so you’ll know exactly what you get with Funnel Scripts.
Not only are there quite a few different categories of scripts you can generate, but each category also has several different types of scripts. This is good so you can drill down to create exactly the right kind of script you need for the right channel you are promoting through.
While most scripts work directly from the dashboard, others are available to you form the dashboard as downloadable wizards.
Some of the most common scripts people use include:
Email scripts
Ad scripts
Headline scripts
Bullet scripts
Sales letter scripts
Video sales letter (VSL) scripts
Besides these, Funnel Scripts also has a ton more. Check out the full list of available scripts below.

Funnel Scripts Pricing
Funnel Scripts used to be a yearly subscription at $497 per year.
However, in 2019 the Funnel Scripts pricing changed to $797 for lifetime access.
While this is a fairly high price to pay initially, if you will need to write good sales copy in your business on an ongoing basis then this is a better deal than the original price of Funnel Scripts.
Basically, you need to consider how important it is to you and your business to write good copy before you buy Funnel Scripts.
For example, if you need to regularly write emails to your list, headlines for your blog posts, ads, and landing pages or if you’re regularly creating ads and need them to always perform well then it may be worth it to you to invest in the Funnel Scripts lifetime deal.
Whether you should buy Funnel Scripts or not will depend on several factors. You need to weigh up the following:
How often you will need to create copy
How much money would it cost you to outsource it to a professional copywriter
How much time would it cost you if you decide to learn copywriting yourself
How much might it cost you in both time and money to do it yourself through trial and error
Funnel Scripts Free Trial
When people hear about this software they often ask, is there a Funnel scripts free trial?
The answer is, Yes.
However, while there are a large number of scripts you can create with Funnel Scripts to make copy for all kinds of reasons, there is only the Funnel Scripts free headline generator that can be used on the free trial.
If, while you’re reading this Funnel Scripts review, you’re interested in taking this sales copy generator for a test-drive then you can try the Funnel Scripts headline generator for free here.
Personally, I would like to see a free trial of other scripts besides only the headline script. For example, I think it would be really helpful to also include an ad script and a bullet script trial so people can get a clearer picture of what Funnel Scripts can actually do before they purchase.
However, the headline generator script is a good tool and gives a reasonable insight into the Funnel Scripts software. Just be aware that the tool can do so much more than just create fancy headlines.
Funnel Scripts Webinar
Jim Edwards and Funnel Scripts co-founder, Russell Brunson created an hour-long copywriting webinar that teaches some important fundamentals of copywriting that marketers and entrepreneurs need to understand.
While, of course, this webinar does also promote the Funnel Scripts product, they show you everything the software can do, what you get when you invest and how to get all your copy from sales letters, webinar scripts, ads, and even email sequences written in under 10 minutes.
If you’re not interested to buy Funnel Scripts but you do want to learn more about copywriting then I still recommend you watch this webinar.
You can watch the Funnel Scripts webinar here.
Where Can You Buy Funnel Scripts?
The owners of Funnel Scripts would prefer you to first watch their free Funnel Scripts webinar and then move through their sales funnel. This way they can hook you in and sell you more stuff.
However, if you just want to buy Funnel Scripts without having to go through the sales funnel then here’s the back door where you can buy Funnel Scripts directly.
Funnel Scripts Pros and Cons
Like any product you buy, there will always be pros and cons. Here are the pros and cons of Funnel Scripts:
Funnel Scripts Pros
Instant access once you purchase
Easy to use
Instruction videos for each script
Many different script types for all kinds of marketing needs
Easy to use script generators
Data input fields allow you to customize scripts with your personality and to fit your audience
Multiple versions of each script generated to give you choice
Scripts can easily be edited
Example scripts included
Additional downloadable wizards for more complex script creation
Lots of training videos
Monthly webinars
Additional bonuses included
Funnel Scripts Cons
Some scripts take time to enter all your data into the input fields
Sometimes the script can be a bit generic – fortunately you can customize and edit the scripts as needed
It can take a while to get your head around all the different available features
Initial price can be high for some small business owners and solopreneurs (fortunately, this has been improved slightly since Funnel Scripts has now been made a one-time purchase)
Funnel Scripts: My Final Thoughts
When you buy Funnel Scripts you certainly get a lot for your money. There are a ton of scripts available inside the members area, and you also get access to a few downloadable wizards for more advanced scripts.
Russell and Jim have included scripts for all kinds of copy you might need to create.
While the initial price tag of $797 can be expensive for a lot of entrepreneurs, if you’re going to be using it regularly then, in my opinion, it is worth the investment as it can save you both time and money moving forward.
So now, the question is, do you and your business need it..? Only you can answer that question.
If you’ve not already tried the free headline generator, why not try it out to see what it can do.
If you want to have a more detailed look at the product that goes beyond this Funnel Scripts review, and see it live in action then I highly recommend you join the free copywriting webinar with Jim and Russell.

Hey, welcome to my blog Best Ways to Lose Body Fat Without Cardio – 11 Simple Tips. Looking to lose weight but not a fan of cardio? Hey there visitors and welcome back to Health-Fitness-Journal. Does the thought of spending time on a treadmill terrify you? Can’t get yourself to go jogging? It’s common knowledge that cardio and fat loss go hand in hand. But what if we were to tell you there are other, much easier ways?
Weight loss happens when you eat fewer calories and burn more. Sure, cardio is the “go-to” routine for it but it’s not the only way! Building more muscle and eating fewer calories also helps you achieve a caloric deficit. So, it’s okay to skip the treadmill when your goal is fat loss. Carb cutting? No more cheat meals? Strength training? Stay tuned to learn about the different ways in which you can burn body fat without the dreadful cardio.
1. Say Goodbye to Carbs
Carb cutting is the first step anyone takes towards their weight loss journey. This means no more high carb foods like rice, bread, starchy vegetables, and sweets. When you eat these foods, it turns into fat and gets stored until it is burned out through exercising or physical activities. You can eat them immediately after a heavy workout session to compensate for the lost glucose levels but in small quantities.
In short, you have to watch your caloric intake like a hawk. An easy way would be to swap carbs with lean meats like chicken, turkey, and fresh vegetables. For a wholesome meal, you can include olive oil, whole grains, and healthy fats like avocado. It is just a matter of figuring out an ideal meal plan for a low carb diet that suits you best! What is your favorite diet for carb-cutting? Share it with us in the comments below!
2. Stay Active – Best Ways to Lose Body Fat Without Cardio – 11 Simple Tips
This doesn’t mean you have to do squats or push-ups any chance you get. It just means that you can do some work around the house or pick up some moderate aerobic exercises. If you have an elevator, take the stairs! If you’ve been sitting down for too long, go out for a brisk stroll. Did garden leave unattended? Pick up the shovel and get in there!
There are several ways for you to stay active throughout the day which has both immediate and long-term benefits. It improves your immunity and keeps your heart healthy! Keeping yourself busy by doing these activities will ensure that all the stored fat is burned. Always remember that it’s important to balance your calories when it comes to weight management.
3. Increase Protein Intake
Protein plays a major role in your weight loss journey. A high protein intake will boost metabolism and – most importantly – reduce appetite. Why does this happen? Protein cuts down the production of hunger generating hormones in the brain and makes you feel full for a longer period of time. Apart from this lean protein meats take longer to digest.
Continue Reading – Best Ways to Lose Body Fat Without Cardio – 11 Simple Tips
Did you know that protein keeps burning calories even while you are sleeping! High protein diets make it easier to cut back on calories when compared to low ones. Late-night snacks are every dieter’s worst nightmare and one of the main reasons why people fail their diet goals.
4. Cut Back on Saturated Fats
Cut back on saturated fats also known as unhealthy fats. These include animal-based products such as meats, starchy vegetables, and sugar. These can also be packaged foods like potato chips, pastries, pizza, and hamburgers. Did you know that all fats contain 9 calories per gram of fat? That’s more than twice the quantity present in carbs and protein. Eliminating high-fat foods from your diet will keep your weight in check and heart-healthy!
A healthy weight means a lowered risk of developing diabetes, heart problems, and other health problems later on in life. Don’t worry! You can swap your favorite cheat meal with a healthier option. Switch red meats with skinless chicken, replace butter with olive or canola oil, and start using low-fat dairy products. It’s not all bad news. Eating more fresh fruits and vegetables along with whole grains will also work like a charm!
5. Switch Cardio With Strength Training Exercises
If you feel like cardio is your enemy then choose something different. Strength training exercises cut down body fat, and fast! Sure you can lose weight without doing exercise but not an optimal amount! Strength training exercises like lifting weights, push-ups, pull-ups, crunches, and other weight machine exercises help your body lose more fat.
Cardio exercises only burn calories while strength training exercises force your body to spend more calories in post-workout muscle repairing. It will also give a major boost to your metabolism for as long as 24 hours! A common misconception often associated with strength training is bulkiness. But really, it makes you look more athletic than bulky.
6. Sleep Soundly – Best Ways to Lose Body Fat Without Cardio – 11 Simple Tips
Deep sleep burns more calories. Did you know that? It’s true! During REM or Rapid Eye Movement sleep your brain is more active than any other stage. In some cases, it is way more active than when you are awake. This rapid movement of the eyes and thinking requires fuel which is used up in the form of glucose. These are the building blocks for most food items and get broken down during intense brain activity.
This results in the burning of body fat. Because your brain goes through several stages of the sleep cycle, a mere 6 hours of sleep is not enough! A good 8 hours of sleep helps in substantially reducing your weight. Think of it like this, when the body is sleeping the brain is in repair mode.
7. Drink Healthy Beverages
You cannot expect to achieve your weight loss goals if you eat healthily but don’t drink healthy. That’s right! If you tend to go for some sweetened energy drink before your workout session then you may be causing more harm than good. Beverages like green tea, coffee, and high-protein drinks boost metabolism, promote fullness, and decrease hunger, all of which encourage weight loss.
Drinking packaged juices and other artificially sweetened drinks have little to no nutritional value and are high on calories. Stepping up your healthy drink game will help you reach your desired size! Trading in just one or two servings of unhealthy beverages for a glass of water or a cup of green tea is a simple way of promoting fat burning.
8. Load Up On Fiber
Reaching your ideal weight is not an easy job, but it gets easier with fiber! High fiber foods include whole grains, whole fruits, vegetables, legumes, and various nuts and seeds. Did you know that a daily intake of 30 grams of fiber can not only help you lose weight but also lower your blood pressure and risk of cardiovascular disease?
A high fiber diet has several benefits, one of them being weight loss. While it is a carbohydrate it’s not easily digestible. It leaves you feeling full after a meal while maintaining blood sugar levels with zero calories. Another characteristic of fibrous food is excessive chewing. Not only is it a good jaw exercise but is another way of keeping yourself feeling full and satisfied after eating.
9. Do Yoga – Best Ways to Lose Body Fat Without Cardio – 11 Simple Tips
If you are willing to ditch the traditional gym route for yoga, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Yoga burns calories and improves your muscle tone, flexibility, and core strength. Practicing it as often as possible will help you lose weight effectively. For quicker weight loss results you can pair it up with brief cycling and walking. This will improve your heart health. Yoga not only works by slimming you down, but it also creates a sense of mindfulness.
This means that your overall outlook towards your lifestyle may change, where you will be more aware and selective of the food you eat. The combination of breathing exercises and physical relaxation burns fat. Maybe this is why celebrities like Madonna and Jennifer Aniston do regular yoga! Thinking about taking up yoga? Here are some amazing things that will happen to your body if you do yoga every day! Now back to fat-burning minus the cardio.
10. Drink Black Coffee
Many people, even those who drink black coffee regularly, are unaware that the beverage is a great catalyst for losing weight. It is just coffee that is brewed without any additives such as sugar, milk, or cream. It contains a particular kind of acid that helps in slowing down the production of glucose. Packed with caffeine, it increases your digestion speed which increases your energy level.
The absence of fat and cholesterol means that you can have it every day without putting on weight! Sounds like a win-win to me. Black coffee has recently gained popularity for being a great pre-workout drink because it boosts the immune system.
11. Multi-Joint Workouts
Working out smarter than harder is the new mantra. To lose maximum weight in minimum time you should do exercises that engage many joints rather than focus on one. Doing this will make your body release a certain hormone that increases digestion and burns more calories during and after the exercise. Workouts involving a combination of different muscles not only saves time but also builds lean muscle and strength compared to single-joint resistance exercises.
Doing squats, deadlifts, bench presses, and bent-over rows that involve as much muscle mass as possible helps in burning fat. Remember to increase your reps and lower the number of rests in between sets. The exercises in this category engage various muscles within the body which work simultaneously to show several benefits.
Do you think no cardio weight loss is for you? Have you tried these methods before? Tell us in the comments!

Hurricane Tips
Written 8/27/19
PLEASE NOTE
I am not a trained meteorologist, I have zero background in climate science or hurricanes. I am just a Floridian for more than a decade and have been through all levels of storms, even Cat 4 and 5.
Because I live in Florida, and It is now peak hurricane season, and channels like my local news, and The Weather Channel are going to start sensationalizing everything that moves in the caribbean and Atlantic, I thought I should write some ACTUAL tips for storm preparedness.
First, get yourself a good list like this one here and actually make a hurricane kit. I keep mine in a rubbermaid plastic storage bin, the same ones I keep my Christmas and Holiday decor in. I keep it on top of all other bins, and I have an inventory list attached to the lid with expiration dates so I can update goods at a glance.
Tumblr media
There are several “grades” a storm goes through before it really becomes something dangerous. You have probably seen the memes floating around?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The reason these memes exist, is that when you live in a state constantly hit with hurricanes, you learn when to panic and when to just sit back be calm.
So, here is a very brief, 5 second Google Search lesson on storm categories.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you hear about a tropical depression, this is legitimately just a really bad really wet thunderstorm that exists in the tropics. If it stays there too long it will become a worse storm, but if its gonna hit you as a depression, school most likely won’t even get cancelled, and if it does, its just for the day the storm makes landfall. Power probably won’t even flicker.
A tropical storm is pretty tame, same for Category 1 and 2 hurricanes in terms of WIND DAMAGE. You might lose power, could lose a shingle or two off your roof, some old thin branches from a tree, and your for sale sign in your yard. Maybe a young freshly planted tree or two. But not much else.
Category 3 storms and higher are when you really want to pay attention, be fully stocked on emergency supplies, have your shelter and evacuation plans A, B AND C prepared (seriously, these storms change directions like a 2 year old in a candy store, have multiple plans for where you are sheltering. Inland and north are your best bets, but beware of highway congestion.
Water is the dirty evil doer in any hurricane or tropical storm. Flooding could be an issue if you live in a flood zone, and if you aren't sure you can check online here https://msc.fema.gov/portal/search
Flooding is the main culprit for nearly all forms of devastation and damage to property, crops, livestock, and people.
If you find you are in a flood zone, update your insurance! Flood insurance is SEPARATE from homeowners and Hurricane and Renters, so be sure to add it on to your policy and if you need sand bags but can't get sand, a mix of kitty litter, flour, sugar etc in a trash bag is good in a pinch!
The above Emergency kit list is really good to have, don't wait til the last minute to get supplies! As the storm nears there will be a run on water, canned soups, non refrigerated and ready to eat snacks, bread etc in your area so expect a number of places to sell out of water, or places like Office Max and Staples and Lowes to jack up the prices for a case of bottled water (They price them per bottle instead of per unit) Also, gas can run out at gas stations so get some when you think of it, not when it’s convenient.  Make sure if you have pets you make a plan for them to go potty in case it becomes unsafe for them to go outside, and bring in your potted plants, and lawn decor you care about. Anything larger, better be covered on your insurance policy.  For windows you cannot put shutters on, like mine as I live in an apartment, I went to Dollar Tree and bought some plastic painters plastic, some duct tape, and some masking or painters tape. I made an X shape on each window with the duct tape (goo-gone will take off residue later) and then using the painters tape, attached the painters plastic sheeting over the whole window for a tiny amount of impact and water protection. (This won’t stop your window from shattering, but it may help you from having a floor covered in tiny glass shards.)
If you are worried about rain water damage, roll up some towels and lay them on your windowsills to absorb excess water that WILL blow in from the changes in air pressure and wind during the storm.
Buy canned food you will actually eat when the power goes out! Dairy based chowders are NASTY AF to eat cold. Trust me. Vegetable stew, Chicken noodle aren’t great, but they are stomachable.
Apples, Oranges, Bananas, tomatoes, Avocado and onion do not require refrigeration so they are awesome choices for healthy produce to eat during a lengthy power outage. If the power goes out, and you think it will stay out, clear your produce and lunch meats and dairy from your fridge that first day so you don’t waste all that money in groceries.
Have power free activities you can do with your family that won’t make you kill one another. Ever play a game of Monopoly for 5 days straight? I have. Choose fun games that aren’t too competitive, like Uno, Phase 10, Life, Chess or tabletop RPG’s like Dungeons and Dragons are excellent choices.
Solar powered emergency Radio. This thing will save your brain when the only sound you hear is wind, Rain and your family’s whining. Not to mention, warn you of tornadoes, local alerts, storm updates and other news.
There are tons of extra tips floating around online, but these are my go to’s. I hope they help!

Fill Your Jar
Seal Your Jar
Meditate on Your Intent
Finish Your Spell
Step 1: Define Your Intent
The first and most logical step in a jar spell is to define your intent. Your intent is what everything in your spell will revolve around. As per usual with magic, your intent should be:
Specific: Focus on precise goals (i.e. no wishing, no generalizing, no multi-purpose spells for 12 different things).
Realistic: Make sure those goals are attainable (no Dungeons & Dragons or Harry Potter fantasy stuff).
Ethical: I'm not going to say what is or isn't ethical, but you should certainly consider your spiritual ethics and think about the consequences of your actions.
Once your intent is determined, you can begin to design your jar spell—namely, what kind of things you need to put into it to achieve your goal.
Step 2: Choose a Container for Your Jar Spell
Basically, any kind of container can be used for a spell. I have to admit up front that I’m not entirely comfortable using containers made of plastic, but opinions vary on its effectiveness. I prefer glass, though people use clay and other materials. As long as it has no cracks and a tight-fitting lid or cork, you’re golden.
To find a suitable bottle, scrounge around the house or at thrift shops. Consider using anything from mason jars, baby food jars, and mayo or pickle jars to old salad and oil bottles.
Note: Make sure you cleanse and consecrate the container you’re going to use, as well as all the items you plan to fill it with.
Paint Your Jar (Optional) If you want, you can paint your jar in a color that corresponds with your intent or with symbols and images. This is not necessary, but any little help can give you a boost—plus, it keeps anyone who might stumble upon your jar from seeing the contents.
Step 3: Choose Your Jar Spell Contents
Deciding on the contents is basically the ‘meat’ of this magical working. While there is no limit to what you can choose to include, it’s important to select things that will help you work toward your ultimate magical goal. I like to choose things from the following categories:
A Personal Item
A photograph, hair, nail clippings, blood or other personal item is crucial to your spell. You could also use a name written on paper. This should be of the person you are casting the spell on—so if you’re casting the spell for yourself, you’d use your own picture, item or name. If casting the spell for a friend or on someone else (such as a spell to get a bully to leave you alone), you would use their photo, name or item.
Written Intent or Prayer
There is a lot of power in words, so I always find it helpful to write my intent on something and slip it into the jar. If you are seeking the aid of a deity in your jar spell, you can write a note to them asking for their assistance.
Liquids
Generally, the bottle should contain some liquid, but which liquid you choose depends on your intent.
Urine is used for protection jars and jars to break a curse, but can also be used for manipulative spells over others.
Vinegar is used to curse or harm others or to ‘spoil’ something. Safety note: vinegar jars can explode—so don’t fill it to the top, and keep the jar wrapped in cloth or towels (unless you’re burying it).
Honey, sugar water or some kind of nectar is used when you want to compel someone or something. This is because if you were seeking to make friends, to be more persuasive, to soothe over hurt feelings, etc., you’d want to ‘sweeten’ their disposition.
Ammonia is used for ‘cleansing’, when you want to banish negativity or malevolent entities, or when you wish to start anew with a ‘clean slate’. Safety note: never burn candles on ammonia and do not place ammonia jars near heat, as it can be explosive and flammable.
Tinctures, infusions, oils, etc. can be used for a multitude of purposes, such as blessings for health or prosperity and the like. Naturally, you should choose something based on your intent—for example, a money spell might include a tincture, infusion or oil made from money-drawing herbs like cinnamon or mint.
Water can be used, but I don’t really recommend plain water. At the very least, you can make an herbal infusion with it to give it more of a boost. I personally think heavily salted and blessed water can be good for purification purposes, but beyond that, I would avoid plain tap water.
Solids
Like with liquids, there are different types of solids that you can choose from based on your intent. You can be pretty creative with this! Here are a few examples:
To break a curse, jar spells usually include items like rusty nails and glass shards.
To break up a couple, the caster might add some cat hair and some dog hair to the mix—to make the people fight like ‘cats and dogs’ (again, though, think about your ethics!).
Heart-shaped glitter or confetti might go into a jar spell to draw love. You might even tie a ribbon around the whole jar to hold on to love, or to bind someone.
In a money-related jar spell, you might include some coins (preferably with the year of your birth printed on them).
If I wanted to break writer’s block, I might make a jar spell with a small pencil and roll of paper wrapped around it.
Herbs and Crystals
Two items that are both magically powerful and easy to come by are crystals and herbs. You can find a variety of them anywhere, and they are able to carry the energy that you’ll want to put into your spell. Below, I include a quick reference chart for herbs and crystals that you can refer to if you’re new to working with them.
That said, I highly recommend studying up and familiarizing yourself with some basic herbs and/or crystals you might have access to (my chart only scratches the surface). The more you work with herbs and crystals and get a feel for them, the more skilled you will become at spellcraft.
At the end of the day, just use your noggin and think of things that give off the kind of energy you’re interested in raising. They'll be even better for your spell if they're personally meaningful to you (vs. only using items that are commonly associated with your goal).
Note: Remember, just as you cleansed and consecrated your spell jar, so you must do with the items that you plan to fill it with. If the objects you have chosen are not spiritually clean (i.e. on an energy level), your spell will be less likely to help you attain your goal.
What Crystals and Herbs to Use for Spells

Binding: jet, agrimony, knotweed, spiderwort, witch hazel
Communication: sodalite, tiger eye, turquoise, mint, orris root

Relationships: moss agate, pearl, peridot, rhodocrosite, sapphire, turquoise, pansy, rose, valerian
Step 4: Fill Your Jar
After having grounded and centered yourself, pick up one item at a time (or place it on your pentacle) and charge it. Charging empowers the item with your personal intent while stirring and stimulating the item’s own natural energy that you’re trying to tap into.
Note: You do not need to cast a circle for this spell, but if you wish to do it within a ritual circle, you may. If you wish, you may also invoke a deity for assistance.
As you add items to your jar, chant to raise power. For example, while filling your jar, you might say something such as, "By the power of Earth, Air, Fire and Water; By the Power of the sun, moon and stars; With the blessings of the Goddess Aphrodite, I charge you, rose quartz, to attract love to me."
Words of Power
When I prepare a spell, I always like to plan a chant to say while I’m casting it. Chanting is a great way to raise energy. You can find a chant in a book or online, or you can make up your own. It doesn’t have to be Shakespeare to be effective. Something simple works just fine, like:
Money, money, come to me;
Help me pay these bills I see.
As long as it suits the occasion and is meaningful to you, it’ll work.
Rhythm and rhyming can help you memorize it quickly before you start, and then you can really get into it like a mantra when you’re casting. By letting it spill from your lips effortlessly, it bypasses that conscious part of your brain and taps into your source of power—that part of the mind that sends the energy toward your goal.
Step 5: Seal Your Jar
When you’re finished filling your jar, you can seal it right away (and then burn a candle on it if desired), or you can burn a candle in the open mouth of the jar and seal it that way.
Note: Candles are not necessary in jar spells, but I find it adds yet another boost of power if you combine it with candle magic. If you choose to incorporate a candle into your jar spell, find one of the appropriate color and dress it (see the article above for more details) before burning it in the mouth of the jar or on top of the sealed jar, letting all the wax melt down. You can burn multiple candles on a jar over a course of time for an ongoing project.
Step 6: Meditate on Your Intent
Meditate on having acquired your goal. Don’t envision yourself wanting your goal, or you leave yourself in a perpetual state of wanting; envision yourself having your goal. What will life be like, how will you feel, when it is done?
Hold onto your visualization for about 20 minutes, or as long as you can.
Step 7: What to Do With Your Spell Jar Now?
There are a few different options now that you’ve cast your jar spell. Basically, you can bury it, hide it, toss it in water, keep it on your altar, or dismantle it. Which you choose depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.
Bury the jar if . . .
You are seeking permanent protection or to break or repel a curse. This will stand sentry on your property and protect you (or on the property of the person for whom you cast the jar spell). If you don’t have land of your own, you can bury it in a flower pot of soil left by your doorstep.
You want your jar to be a ‘magnet’ of sorts to continue to draw things to you (attention, health, wealth, etc.). Bury it on your property or the property of the person you’re casting for and be done with it.
You are trying to rid yourself of something (or rid the person you’re casting for of something), like a disease or bad habit. Bury the jar at a crossroads, don’t look back, and (ideally) never return.
You are casting a spell on another unbeknownst to them (but remember your ethics!). Bury it on their property—ideally somewhere they cross over every day, like beneath their doorstep.
Note: If you were doing some major cursing to harm another, you could bury it in a graveyard (not something I personally recommend, by the way; but I’m just passing on the information).
Hide the jar if . . .
You want to bury it, but burying it is not an option. Hey, I am originally from New York City—I understand you can’t bury a jar easily when you live in an apartment. If this is the case, just hide it deep in the home somewhere—inside a wall, in the junk closet, or wherever it won’t be disturbed.
You plan on dismantling it sometime in the future, which will disengage the spell when done properly.
Toss the jar in water if . . . *
Using it to banish or exorcise any entities, or if you are working with any ‘questionable’ entities (again, not recommended, just passing on the information). Running natural water sources will purify it and protect you from their return.
It’s successfully removed a curse, a disease, a bad habit, etc.; this is an alternative to burying it at a crossroad. Keep in mind you could be fined for littering if you’re just tossing stuff into local waters.
*Tip: If it floats, puncture the cap with a hole or tie it to a weight.
Keep the jar on your altar if . . .
. . . your goal is an ongoing one that you’d like to keep working on. You can continue to burn candles over the mouth of the jar or shake it while saying your chant to keep it working for you.
Alternatively, if you have a shrine to your God/dess and sought their aid, you can keep it there. Again, shake it occasionally while chanting to keep the power going.
This is actually a good option for spells that are going to require a great deal of time and effort—for example, if you were to do a jar spell to help you pass tests, you might keep it on your altar all through college. You might repeat your chant, burn a candle or shake it the night before exams. This is better than making a new spell for every exam.
Dismantle the jar if . . .
. . . the spell's power is no longer necessary and you’d like the effects to stop. For example, if you cast a jar spell to attract love, you might have had many interests for a while. Now, you are getting married and you don’t want to attract any more potential lovers. So you would dismantle the spell.
To do this, remove the contents and bury them at a crossroads or into running water, clean the container and dispose of it. With a proper cleansing, you could re-use it.
Warning: It’s not generally a good idea to dismantle a jar used for cursing or hexing, or one for breaking a curse or hex, unless you really know what you’re doing. Just bury it at the crossroads or in running water and be done with it.
Do Not Burn Your Spell Jar
One thing I do not recommend is throwing it into a fire, as is mentioned in some sources. This was, in particular, a method of cursing and curse-breaking; the Witch would throw the jar into the fire and when it burst, it meant the curse was working (torturing the person it is cast on) or it meant the curse you were lifting has broken.
This is not necessary, and not a safe option at all. However, if you do dismantle a jar spell and have some components left over (ribbon, paper, etc.), you could burn those items after it’s dismantled if you have a safe means of doing so.

Note
Hi! So I'm 15 and in school. What I really struggle with is that I'll sit down to do work (essays are where I have this problem a lot) and I'll be there for 4 hours and only get a tiny bit done. I turn my phone off and don't open any other tabs...I even set timers but I never reach my goals. It's incredibly frustrating because idk where my time goes and everything just drifts and I don't know what I'm doing to lose so much time. Is this a result of my ADHD? How can I stop this? thanks! :)
Sent October 18, 2018
It could be due to your ADHD.
I’m wondering if your goals are too large or something, so you’re basically shutting down when you sit down to work.
This might sound ridiculous, but stick with me and give it a try; it might help.
Okay, I’m going to make up a fictional homework roster and take you through the process I’m thinking of. Then I’ll summarize it into the steps to follow.
Cut for length.
In this imaginary semester, I’m taking Band, French, Math, English, Social Studies, and Art. Here is my list of assignments:
Band: practice all pieces
French: write a report on another country, all in French; practice vocabulaire
Math: Unit 3 review problems
English: read next short story; work on research paper.
Social Studies: read Chapter 4
Art: who are we kidding, I never had homework for art class
So four subjects and seven assignments. Let’s break it down further.
Band: we’re playing five pieces and I have solos in two
French: the report is due at the end of November; vocabulaire is a weekly thing and we’ll be tested on Friday
Math: there are 100 review problems at the end of the unit and our unit test is on Friday
English: we’ll be discussing the story in class tomorrow; the research paper is due right before Christmas and has to be 10 pages long
Social Studies: the chapter is 30 pages long (5 sections) and there are 5 sets of comprehension questions and 15 review questions to do, plus a bunch of glossary words to copy out, and we’ll be discussing one section of the chapter each day in class for the next week
Break down the larger tasks even more:
French report
choose country
research country, focusing on culture
organize research notes into categories (e.g., clothing, food, music, entertainment)
write clothing section
write food section
write music section
write entertainment section
write introduction; include demographics and economic information
write conclusion
check over grammar etc.
make sure bibliography is done properly
English research paper
choose topic
research topic
organize research notes
make outline
write body of report, following outline
write introduction
write conclusion
check grammar etc.
make sure citations and bibliography are done properly
Now assign due dates to each mini-task and divide up the other assignments over the coming week (pretending today is Monday), so the list is going to look more like this:
Band: practice all pieces, spend extra time on solos – daily
French report: choose country – todayresearch country, focusing on culture – daily until November 11organize research notes into categories (e.g., clothing, food, music, entertainment) – November 12write clothing section – November 13 & 14write food section – November 15 & 16write music section – November 17 & 18write entertainment section – November 19 & 20write introduction; include demographics and economic information – November 21 & 22write conclusion – November 23 & 24check over grammar etc. – November 25–27make sure bibliography is done properly – November 28
French vocabulaire: make flash cards – todaypractice – daily
Math: complete 25 questions per day
English reading: read short story – todaywrite out thoughts and impressions – today
English research paper: choose topic – todayresearch topic – daily until November 15organize research notes – November 16make outline – November 17 & 18write body of report, following outline – November 19–December 12 (break down into sections when outline complete)write introduction – December 13 & 14write conclusion – December 15 & 16check grammar etc. – December 17–19make sure citations and bibliography are done properly – December 20
Social Studies: read one section per daycopy out glossary words and definitions while readinganswer comprehension questions for each section on that dayanswer review questions after the entire chapter is finished in class
It looks like a lot, but let’s distill it to just what needs to be done today and estimate how long each task will take:
Band: practice all pieces, spend extra time on solos (30-60 minutes)
French report: choose country (15 minutes)
French vocabulaire: make flash cards (30 minutes)practice (30 minutes)
Math: complete 20 questions (30 minutes)
English reading: read short story (10 minutes)write out thoughts and impressions (20 minutes)
English research paper: choose topic (15 minutes)
Social Studies: read section & copy glossary words and definitions (20 minutes)answer comprehension questions (20 minutes)
Wow, that’s still a pretty heavy workload: just over 3 hours plus practice time! Of course, some tasks won’t take as long as I’ve put, and others will take more time. The total is probably close to right, though it doesn’t include breaks.
Because yeah, we’re going to take breaks.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t really do great with focusing on one subject for a really long time unless I’m really into it. So I’m actually going to reorganize this list to make it work better for how my brain works.
French report: choose country (15 minutes)
English research paper: choose topic (15 minutes)
Math: complete 10 questions (15 minutes)
French vocabulaire: make flash cards (30 minutes)
Social Studies: read section & copy glossary words and definitions (20 minutes)
Band: practice all pieces, spend extra time on solos (30-60 minutes)
Math: complete 10 questions (15 minutes)
English reading: read short story (10 minutes)write out thoughts and impressions (20 minutes)
French vocabulaire: practice (30 minutes)
Social Studies: answer comprehension questions (20 minutes)
Now things are broken up a bit more so it isn’t so daunting, everything has due dates to instill a sense of urgency, and my subjects are mixed up to maintain interest. And the key to actually getting through all of it is to take a 5-minute break after each task, as well as whenever my interest starts to wane during the longer tasks.
About the 5-minute breaks: I recommend active breaks, during which you get out of your seat and wander a bit, get a snack from the kitchen, etc. Whatever helps you recharge and won’t get you sucked in so that you forget to return to your work. For some people that is actually reading a book, which would be disastrous for me!
So, the steps I followed:
List all assignments.
Break down long-term assignments into smaller tasks.
Assign due dates to each of these smaller tasks.
Break down other assignments into smaller tasks.
Assign due dates to all of the tasks.
List all tasks that are due today.
Estimate how long each of today’s tasks will take.
Break up larger tasks even smaller (e.g., a group of 20 questions can be split into two groups of 10).
Arrange the tasks in a way that will maintain your interest.
Complete the first task in the list, taking 5-minute breaks as needed.
Take a 5-minute break when the task is finished.
Repeat steps 10 and 11 for each task in the list until done.
I hope this is helpful, and if it doesn’t tackle the actual problem you’re having, please write in again with more details so I can try again!

DISCLAIMER AND RULES
These are the UPDATED directions/guidelines for all who want to participate/contribute to this blog. Our topics of conversation revolve mostly around 30 Seconds to Mars/the Leto Bros, but we have been known to also discuss various other current events around the world.
By reading, and especially by contributing, on what goes on around this blog, you are willingly agreeing with all guidelines and directions I have mentioned below - no exceptions.
I am willing to give a space to those who wish to discuss Mars (or other topics), and I am washing my hands from any and all fuckery that may ensue from other people´s opinions.
Also worth mentioning: I am fully aware that some people who publicly and very vocally denounce any interest in either this blog or Mars gossip lurk around this blog and then spread shit elsewhere on the internet.
By doing that, you are essentially outing yourself as a quiet kmp78 admirer, so to speak.
Or a fangirl, if that suits better. 🤗
Tumblr media
Alright then... READ.
1.  This blog is laced with sarcasm, jokes, stupid and often very dark humor and PERSONAL OPINIONS - both mine and the people who participate in our conversations. This is not CNN, BBC or even Fox News - this is a personal blog run by a (sort of) fan. Not someone with inside information, and not someone whose opinions and views should be taken too seriously, and definitely not as gospel. I have no direct access to anyone in the Mars organization, and I do not work for them.
2. Nor do I work for YOU. This may be a blog which is mainly used for discussions about all things Mars and all opinions and topics are welcome, but the only one in charge is ME. I decide if a message gets published, if a message gets edited, if a message gets deleted - and if the sender gets blocked.
And not that it really needs to be said, but here goes anyway: I do not work for any Leto troll either.
3. And speaking of blocking:
those who send threats or offensive messages will be blocked, as will anyone who I deem block-worthy. Rest assured, I never block anyone without a reason, so if you should discover that you have been blocked, that means I had a reason. I may or may not inform publicly when a person has been blocked, depends on my mood.
4. Everyone who sends messages is responsible for their own words - I do not accept any blame for other people´s opinions. Misunderstandings by accident or on purpose are not my headache. If I suspect a message will potentially cause unnecessary problems or annoyance for me, I will not post it (or will edit it), and  I don´t owe anyone any explanations as to why I´m not posting it. I may explain, or not - that´s up for me to decide.
In any case, as I said: I will not take responsibility for anyone else´s words other than mine, and screaming at me over here or elsewhere online regarding comments someone else made and I posted...
Well, that´s just infantile. 🙄
5. All opinions are welcome, positive AND negative. A positive opinion does not automatically make you a sheep, and a negative opinion does not automatically make you a hater.
Readers to this blog should be adult enough to handle both sides.
6. Calling women sluts or whores is not ok here.
You also need to be able to tell the difference between calling a woman a whore and calling a Leto a whore. If you can´t understand the difference, then get out immediately.
SPECIAL CLAUSE:
the term “YACHT GIRL” when used in connection with an actually legit model who YOU ARE JEALOUS OF BECAUSE SHE GETS TO BONE A MAN YOUR FLABBY LOINS BURN FOR, actually is the equivalent of you calling her a whore, so kindly DO NOT.
Use whatever brain cells your parents genes bestowed upon you and make them at least somewhat proud. That should hopefully partially make up for the disappointment they most probably are already feeling knowing you actually read and participate in this shit.
7. What is also not ok is accusing people of crimes, calling them psychopaths, or threatening others with physical violence etc. - not even sarcastically or as jokes.
Think of it this way:
when typing your message, if at any point you think that what you are writing might come across differently or more seriously to the person reading it than to you while writing it - then do not write it. Any innuendo about people´s potential “social diseases” is not welcome either, and neither are accusations of “obsessions” and people “stalking” the men this blog is focused on. Be VERY careful when using these terms.
YOU are responsible for your own words. I cannot stress that enough.📣
8. We use a lot of initials and nicknames in our conversations - for a reason.
Do not use people´s real names in messages.
If you do not know who a particular person is, please come ask via chat (directions on how to use the chat feature can be found here). I may or may not blur out a name in a message if I think it´s necessary.
9. I post a lot of pics, gifs - and most of them are found from Google using various search terms, and sadly have no tags or indications as to who is the owner/maker. I don´t own any of the pics or gifs, or videos for that matter either (except the ones I have made and labeled as my own). If you find something of yours posted and prefer not to have it up or to have your name added as credits, please let me know and I will remove it.
As for links to either newspaper articles, IG accounts, other blogs or the like: you can find credits to the sources by either clicking on the links, or if I have decided to post screen caps, in the pics themselves. Again, I do not write articles or make videos and very, very rarely post anything other than other people´s comments - after all, this is prominently a discussion blog now. Opinions/messages from other people represent THEIR views and thoughts, my views/thoughts can be seen in my answers (in case of submits or multi-part messages, you will find my contributions to the message after this sign: ***).
To make this very clear: we don´t make news here, we discuss them.
10. When sending submits, if you are unsure of others potentially seeing your “ID”, please mention in your message that you want to remain anon and I will post it anon. Also please remember tho that there is no such thing as complete anonymity - so be careful when writing down your thoughts. Censor yourself if necessary - don´t make problems for me or others, or yourself.
11. I use Statcounter on this blog, which means I can see IP addresses from people visiting this site. However I choose to use that information is up to me, so if you are scared shitless of being outed due to your own actions/words, then DO NOT COME HERE.
If I out your IP, then there is a reason for it.
Don´t give me reasons if you want to remain in the shadows.
(And same goes for chat messages btw: don´t pretend to be my friend in private, but then turn your back and stab me in it in public. More often than not I WILL find out, and if I choose to then out your bullshit by posting private messages, THAT´S ALL YOUR OWN DOING, KIDDOS.
Play nice with me and you have nothing to worry about.
Start kicking dirt in my face and...🤷‍♀️
12. If you are addressing your message directly to someone (= other than me), please say so CLEARLY in your message, for example by starting your message with “For anon who said...”, or something along those line. I have had it with misunderstandings and unnecessary messes due to unclear messages! BE SPECIFIC!
13. ONLY write either in English or Finnish. I won´t waste my time on Google Translate, I have enough on my plate as it is and your weirdo mongrel lingos are boring as hell anyway.
14.  DO NOT SEND MESSAGES WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF STIRRING UP SHIT - OR TO INSULT OTHER COUNTRIES OR NATIONALITIES. That would rank quite high the PATHETIC categories...
15. I won´t post content from so-called private/non-celeb accounts such as Leto trolls (= VK for example IS a celeb so whatever she posts is most deffo getting posted, but anything posted by Lesser´s harem probs won´t be).
16. READ PREVIOUS MESSAGES! READ PREVIOUS MESSAGES! READ PREVIOUS MESSAGES! READ PREVIOUS MESSAGES! READ PREVIOUS MESSAGES!
I´m beyoooooooond bored answering the same questions over and over again, sometimes in the space of just a few hours! The archives and search option are available on my blog for a reason! USE THEM. 😠
17. When sending messages containing info or “receipts” or whatever it may be that you think we should be made aware of, either clearly state WHERE that info can be found and WHO you are talking about. Do not simply send a message a´la “VK can be seen on Monica´s/Richard´s/Beatrice´s IG”. We don´t know who these people are! You may, but we don´t! I do not follow a single model or fashion industry creeper on social media so FIRST NAMES mean fuck all to me. GIVE FULL DETAILS OR SHUT THE FUCK UP.
18. IF I SAY A TOPIC IS OFF-LIMITS, THEN YOU WILL RESPECT THAT.
19. I usually try to post messages in the same order they have been sent - with a few exceptions:
If a situation arises which calls for “immediate attention” (new troll pics or other sudden Mars-related activity, for example), I may leave older messages for later and focus on newer ones first. Also when I am operating on my mobile, I am often unable to post certain messages (videos etc.), so those will be left for later when I am back to an actual computer.
20. More often than not, tumblr fails to deliver messages to my inbox. If you suspect that yours has not been delivered, please send it again. I don´t mind getting duplicates.
21. If I feel that a message offers no relevant or needed content, I won´t post it. For example, a message such as “JL & XX in Japan bang bang” is unnecessary and pointless and not worth posting. I only have 250 allowed posts per day, and on busy days I have to make judgments on what is worthy of posting and what is not. I apologize if I therefore have to skip some messages.
When I run out of allowed posts here, I will let everyone know that I am switching over to use the secondary blog which can be found at @kmp78secondaryblog
(PLEASE NOTE: That blog is ONLY used when we run out of room here, and I never go there unless I have to so please don´t send any messages to that blog unless I inform we have to move there!)
AND FINALLY PLEASE REMEMBER:
THIS IS A FANDOM FOR A BAND. NOT A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH. ACT ACCORDINGLY.
Creating hater accounts dedicated to POSTING PICTURES OF MY BLOODY EYEBALL (that btw actually happened because of course it did! This is the echeLOOOOOON after all! 👍) won´t make me quit this blog, so...
Yeah.

Midnight Update 1 - E1
Hey Bs!
This weekend was a slow, tiring one even though they weren’t as productive as I’d hoped. I’m currently doing some studying on a sub category of E1( a studying subject you can choose. Hint: It’s numerical) and it’s tiring. I haven’t pushed myself to study in so many years that it is as though my brain is rusted and every time I sit down to study, I get restless which leads to distraction. Like how, right now, I’m here instead of studying.
It’s difficult and the only way to get through it is to push harder. I believe the more you do something the easier it gets.
Also, I think I found my tumblr aesthetic! Study Bloggers! I love how studyblrs motivate themselves and others by posting their stories and their studying updates. I hope to do that with my blog do except mine will be my realistic journey from the very beginning. Before the cute notebooks and fancy pens with on point notes. This is the messy beginning.
I’ve begun reading a book. Okay, I started it a month ago and I haven’t ended it. (I decided to start my reading habit with a book that has 700+ pages. What was I thinking?) So goal for the next update: Finish. The. Book.
Let me explain what I’ve been studying because this is a subcategory I will be learning for the next couple of months as a base to E1. I have 8 stages. I finish each stage when I finish 20 similar assignments. I want to finish all 8 stages by October latest.
My aim is to be able to finish 3 assignments per day everyday so I can finish 1 stage per week. But the stages keep getting harder after stage 5. SO I will alter it then. For now my pace is : 1-2 assignments every alternate day. (Terrible, I know. WIll work)
Thanks for sticking through this boring update!  Have a great week<3
