Skk headcanon:

When Dazai met Chuuya his skin was riddled with scars and marks

Eventually over their years in the port mafia he learned that Chuuya is very skilled with a tattoo needle

Now Dazai’s skin is adorned with beautiful artwork done by his partner

Artist Dazai (mostly painting) and Chuuya is some big business dude (idk the details yet shhh) and his boss sometimes has him go out and buy artwork for him to display at various offices/firms/locations/what have you

And of course he sees Dazai's work and loves it but meets the artist and hates him

But with various interactions with Dazai and Dazai being an ass and asking difficult questions, Chuuya begins to realize what his true ambition is and the fact that he feels trapped at his current job

That true passion of his? Dunno yet but my gut instinct says either jazz singer (idk why???) or mechanic (again idk why but the juxtaposition of Dazai creating beautiful art while Chuuya is constantly covered in grease and grime and arguably "not beauty".....well)
