Read feel good stuff, I’m gonna be reading a whole lot of found family today.

Hug family, friends, pets and plants, please do not hug a cactus though.

Take any medication you might have, you do not want drawbacks when you are feeling low.

Donate if you can, if you cannot donate without cutting into funds going towards other stuff, then do not.

Take a break from social media, even if it’s just a few minutes away, even if it’s a whole month.

Talk about Techno, tell people about your favourite videos of him.

Cry, just drink water and refuel your tears.

Message online friends, this kind of contradicts taking a break, but still talk to them, let them know you’re okay.

Do things that make you happy, do not hurt others to do this though, so please don’t dropkick a child, even if it is self defence.

Joke, laugh, because that is definitely a big fuck you to cancer.

Be respectful of others grieving process, they won’t mourn in the same way as you, that’s fine, they may be joking or keeping busy, that’s fine, just be there for them if they need you.

Take a shower, or even just wash your face, it’ll make you feel better, more awake.

Take a nap, only if you can or just fully go to sleep if you haven’t slept yet.

I have a head cannon that Eddie and robin have The most unpredictable relationship. One second they act like boyfriends in law, then they act like mortal enemies, 5 seconds later they’re crying together about robins most recent sad fun fact about animals. Steve can never keep up with where they’re at but I’d glad that his favorite people are so close. (Also when people ask them how they met Eddie will go on and on about how brave Robin is and she just says “we found him in a dumpster”)

I’m just saying. I’m just saying that there was some SHADY shit going down at Spock’s school

I get that there’s a huge concern over keeping your emotions in check, but if you actually think about it, they would know and accept that kids have a harder time controlling their emotions, and so they would have systems in place where if a kid lost control of their emotions, they’d help them calm down and talk out how that kid should’ve logically reacted

What I’m saying, is that it would’ve been more in character for the school officials to look through security footage (which would’ve existed!! with it being the future and the way Vulcans like to document everything to the exact nth) and try to talk to Spock about how he should’ve reacted in that situation

Which means they would’ve seen the group of kids taunting him, and something about them makes me think that this is a reoccurring situation, not just with Spock, but any other Vulcan kid not deemed “Vulcan” enough

So although they would’ve done something about Spock losing control of his emotions, they also would’ve been more concerned about the kids making this a terrible learning space for other children, and they would’ve seen the logic in stopping the problem at its source

But instead no investigation was done? Against three kids cornering one, three kids who I’m sure would’ve been in multiple situations where they’ve had some kind of alternation with another kid, who would’ve let the adults know the other kids were taunting them? No investigation?

I think it was a coverup. I don’t think it’s just the school’s xenophobia either, I think one of those kids’ parents, or all of them, have ties in the school, and every time their kid is almost caught for doing something bad, they have the teachers tell the victims that the best thing to do is to control their own emotions and let it happen, making it seem like it was the victim’s fault so their kids get away with it and no investigation is done

I think the s’chn t’gai family should have sued the school.

hm feel free to tell me ur thoughts if youd like friends but basically my friends did text abt doing dinner and i was like 'im sorry i cant tn feel free to go w/o me or lmk if you wanna do another day' and ofc i caught stupid messages back just like 'booooooooooo' 'i cant till next week at least' 'what time r u busy til eye roll' and ill be honest here i fucking lied not that i should have to even give some big explanation but i was like 'well i have class till 5 (theoretically i would) and then have a meeting that doesnt have an end time' basically pretended the one from yesterday. and then i even sent a followup like 'if you guys end up just hanging out at someones place or you grab drinks or anything ill try to stop by later on' and the one sends a message back like 'do you think if we planned on a day next week you could commit to that?' fucking condescending as hell and to that i literally said 'Hm well idk' and then they were just like 'No days next week?' 'just wondering i mean bc maybe the three of us can just go and then we can plan on something lower commitment some other time.' fuck you first of all. and then a 'i get it if it's too last minute!' from my one friend um so thanks to her i guess and i sent smth kinda snarky back like 'well it's not like we had an actual commitment for any day but by all means go and ill certainly try to carve time out in my schedule some other time yeah!' and ive had the notifs muted bc i just dont want to deal with it rn. why am i not allowed to not be available why am i automatically some flaky low commitment bitch who has to be constantly berated in the chat while yall also ignore pretty much everything i say. im not doing that. and this just confirms my suspicions that they already see me in a certain way why should i have to bother when i HAVE still tried to see them and at least offer alternatives when i cant make it to things. also the semester just started like

Do you have any headcanons for Bruce and his relationships with his kids?

Ohhhs

- He keeps every drawing/card they’ve ever given him and goes to look at them when he misses them

- He keeps a drawer full of little chocolates (or just favorite snacks in general) in his room to give them when they come in his room after a nightmare

- He does that thing where he passes a room multiple time before going in a saying something like ‘oh Tim I didn’t know you where at the manor today, any new going on in your life’ as if he didn’t just walk around the whole manor checking every room to see where he was at

- He is very much a ‘do as I say not as I do’ parent

- He does that parent thing where he keeps scrolling thru your photos and all of the batkids have gotten in trouble bc of it

- He have a different thing for each of them (dick has hair ruffles, jason has those soild shoulder pats (yk like when your dad or something gives you a sidehug and pats your shoulder  soothingly or is that just me), tim get forehead kisses and etc bc i cant think of anything else)

- Yk that hc that they have all forgotten they’re adopted at some point and asked about health issues and they go down the whole wayne family tree before they realize, yea the opposite happens with damian where he in a sleep deprived state asks an equally sleeped deprived bruce about health issues and they both think ‘wait who are the birth parents’

- He always complains about how he misses them but they don’t call but when they do call he goes all ‘why are you calling, is it important’

- He talks really loud on the phone so all the batkids have been subjected to partially yelling in their ear at the ass clock of dawn
