Kinda want to do a thing. Series? I guess? Taking a weapon from Destiny and explaining the mythology/ gods behind the name.

Obviously I’d start with the ones I know like The Morrigan, Ogma, Manannan, etc, but I’d like to branch out once I’m done with those. Mostly because I’ve learned about multiple gods for the first time from just googling a weapon to see what it does lol.

I would. I would even consider making a side blog for this. *gasp* I know

Would anyone believe me if I said strawberries convinced me of the existence of a loving God

Do I sound crazy probably

But look. Look how small and beautiful and edible and refreshing and delicious they are. And they grow right out of the earth. They’re wild; there’s no work actually required. You just find them and pick them

And that’s for us! Foraging has taught me a lot. Food, good food, just grows out of the ground and it’s from Him. Mulberries, walnuts, tubers, herbs; a lot of these I’ve picked from my own uncultivated, uncared-for yard. Mushrooms that taste like chicken and are a bright orange beacon in a midst of gray-brown woods- these grow right on the trees for you in abundance.

And yes, this started with strawberries. As an atheist I would taste the berries and think, how? How does something so perfect even come to exist? How is it growing wild in my yard, with no interference from me or anyone else? It’s such a small and simple thing at first glance, but it’s actually huge when you really think about it. It drove me crazy. It poked at my mind over and over again; this earth is bringing amazing food right to my front door, literally. It’s such an obvious act of love.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
