i have a newfound respect for drawing comics. i think a big reason why people are always asking when the next pages are gonna come out is because they don't realize just how long they take to make. the last 3 projects i had were multipage, colored/shaded comics that reach took several days/weeks to complete (one of them isn't even done!). then i drew just a singular picture of a guy standing in a color void and was surprised when it only took a few hours. i even fiddled with it for an extra hour because i felt like i had "time left."

I've always followed comics and have drawn them in the past, but until i spent a month almost exclusively doing them, i get very empathetic towards you when people continuously ask when/if you're continuing each comic. it is so much work!!! and what you create is gorgeous. so take as long as you need, including breaks, because comics take so much work they get boring to work on at some point lol

yeah comic pages can take a lot longer than regular pics depending from how u draw them and amount of shading or backgrounds but also just the planning part alone takes a while

thank you! and it's not about the ppl asking 💀 I just can't deal with going back and forth between the mindset of doing this comic and of doing other things every week anymore and I've wanted it to be done asap since 2022 so if I can power through and finish it in a week instead of finishing it in 5 months? I'm rUNNING

but that aside I did a 20 page buffer for my other comic as well at the end, it just makes things more organized for the printed version release, I think I got around 10 pages left to do + redrawing some pages and I do want to take a break but I'll just make things worse for myself if I stop now;;

Now for business -- CMC's cleaning team has been stressed for time recently due to increasingly busy schedules, so we've decided to advertise for more cleaners/redrawers to join the squad! We're hoping to cut down our backlog and give some breathing space to the team.

Experience is appreciated but not essential, we just need you to show some examples of you being a decent redrawer (and/or we might ask you to clean a page as a test)

We’ll need you on discord (that’s where CMC gathers together to discuss everything)

Be fairly available (enough so you can at least rotate around) since cleaning takes priority whenever new material comes out -- but please don’t prioritise us over your irl stuff! School/work/your other needs are always more important o7

Anyway, this is my take on a totally under appreciated AU. What if Harry Potter was Moon Knight?

Harry becomes one of Marc, Steven’s - even Jake’s - alters. Imagine if Harry, the literal Master of Death, is the protector of all three alters, keeping them from being manipulated or under the control of Konshu. They’re all still under his protection, just only Harry butts head with him when it comes to the well-being of Marc, Steven, and Jake.

Look at that; neat. Actually, it was a speedpaint: I attempted to challenge myself to reuse the colors I used for a previous paint. I hope you all like it 🙂.

I just finished Devil Survivor 2!

Both the game and anime. It was so fun!!!!!!! Def prefer the game, but the anime gave Daichi and protag sm chemistry soooooooooo its also pretty good lmfao (but also mad the anime made Daichi incredibly weak... When it game his character arc was about becoming brave, not strong. RAAAAAAAAAH) I forgot there was a whole second arc in record breaker... so ill have to play that soon... Too busy with uni rn tho, so I might not play it any time soon. BTW THIS IS BASICALLY A SCREENSHOT REDRAW... So ofc it's semi traced (I cant draw folds so ofc i semi traced it asajkskj)

Mita Ori (the author) posted something on instagram a few days ago (KINDLY REMINDER THAT YOU BETTER NOT MESSAGE HER ABOUT LIONHEARTS GUYS LOL WE ARE DOING THIS "ILEGALLY" AND SHE WONT APPRECIATE IT)

But this can be summarize on: Next chapter will be tomorrow (9/12) and it's not the final chapter (yet) because SPOILERS so she will try to have the last chapter by january of next year.

She also says how much she loves the characters and thank the readers for the patience.

17. Do you have fandesigns for any of the design-less characters? If so, please describe or show them!

Boy do I! And I seriously need to draw them all someday. I have fandesigns for a few Dreamtonics SynthVs.

My favourite is Qing Su! Here she is, beautifully drawn by @artist-squared.

My idea for all my DT fandesigns is for their outfit to be very basic, inspired by their original "lack of design"; the idea would be that they wear simple clothing, and that users get to choose to add accessories for their covers or change their outfits altogether. In this artwork, the artist added a few details, such as a necklace and earrings!

I also have a design idea for Mai, which I have never drawn in full. However, my friend @chocolategore drew it from my description for my cover of magnet! (She used the aforementioned drawing of Qing Su as a reference too!) If I ever draw her in full, Mai will also have her "default", logo-inspired idol outfit which could be expanded upon.

Then there's my fandesign for Kevin, which I drew a portrait of and then was lucky enough to get a gif of from artist-squared:

So cute (★ ω ★) Here again, they added their own details such as tucking the t-shirt in or the belt.

Finally, there's my fandesign for An Xiao! I only sketched him the one time, but I really believe in my idea for him and I want to draw him better someday. Note that I accidentally mirrored his hanfu the wrong way in this sketch (all the more reason to redraw him ASAP...)

His was inspired by Gakupo! It's a bit more specific than my other ideas, but I believe his outfit is still fairly simple and "could be expanded upon at the users' choice".

Hope this all makes sense! I have other ideas in mind, but I haven't put them on paper yet. I wish I were quicker at drawing because I really like my fandesign ideas.
