Nicotine Patch Dream Series: Episode 1

On June 28th, I began my journey of sobriety from nicotine. My friend recently finished her patches just before I started and warned me about the dreams I'll have. I didn't realize until my first night how intense they would be. I present: "The Haunted PS1 Game That Never Existed".

So, there's this YouTuber I watch called Izzzyzzz and they talk about nostalgic video games and media, but sometimes do more obscure renditions.

I fell asleep to their Haunted PS1 Demo video (highly recommend it btw), but when I woke up, I was still in my bed in the dream and saw another video about a weird game that I didn't get recommended to me. They went into full detail with pictures and shit of how the game worked. It was like an aesthetic nightmare with cute sprites but grotesque imagery.

There was a God that kind of looked like the "you're not perfect" monster from Courage the Cowardly Dog mixed with God from Silent Hill 3. Also, a "cutesy" sprite of conjoined triplet babies (clearly sewn to one another).

All I remember is that if God caught you, your body would get mutilated and conjoined with 2 other victims in a baby-sized body as one, and then the final boss battle with God leaving you on a creepy menu screen.

I FALL ASLEEP IN THE DREAM and wake up in a large grey room with a flat-screen tv and a couch.

The room had two doors that led to another room. They were open and it freaked me out so I closed them and sat back down.

Suddenly, I heard this kissing/lip-smacking sound over and over again. I start panicking and running back up to the doors to make sure they stayed closed. One opened and I ran in to find out what the sound was.

The room was almost pitch black and the only thing giving it a fraction of life was the TV from the main room.

I started jumping around and yelling to see what the fuck was going on and this distorted figure levitates in my direction and stops.

Its limbs were connected loosely like nerves (silent hill 3 like), but the face was male and had a cord connecting it from the ear to the torso.

If I turned away and looked back, it would position itself differently until we got into the battle. It fought like an RPG but you only saw its solemn expression and the cord attached to the ear.

I killed it, but somehow got the bad ending. The screen just said, "You've killed the body of God, but its soul transferred to you."

Suddenly, I was teleported to the menu screen where I could walk around. Everything in the grey room was frozen, even God's slumped body levitating

I woke up feeling weird and checked to see if the video was real and it isn't.

Jay and Silent Bob were buying vapes, but since flavored nicotine stuff is illegal, the clerk suggested they use them with a few Tic-Tacs in their mouths. Jay said that was stupid, so the clerk suggested they just huff lead.

I just woke up from a short sleep and I need to document this while I still remember . So I recentlyhave this crazy Riverdale esque timeline in my dreams where I had an angel help me use time travel stop a huge bomb from going off and killing a bunch of children and everyone on earth got transported back to January 2014 and I’m the only one who remembers the future and the details of the dreams are already getting foggy again but before I woke up I was trying to explain it to my mom and she was actually believing me like I told her about all of these things that didn’t happen or exist yet and she like vaguely remembered them and the more I explained she was like wait shit you’re right… at one point I was like “mom look at me there is no way I’m 10 years old” skdjskfksk . As I started to wake up while having this conversation with her I started remembering things from real life too? I was ljke “wait this makes no sense bc I saw a post earlier today about it being 2024” anyways this is the second dream I’ve had that followed this plot line which is really weird like that never happens to me

im guna use this dumbahh dead blog as a dumping ground for my feelings since less ppl know im on here but genuinely what is the point. like at all. every time sumn genuinely good comes into my life theres either a catch or sumn 2x worse happens after. i was hospitalized earlier this year after my dad died n my life has literally j gotten worse n worse since i got out. i literally do not have a reason to keep living n never had n the only reason i’ve stayed n continue to stay is bcus i dont wanna fuck up the attempt n be in even more pain😭 like yay i got an apartment. now im struggling to find a new job and my mom got fired from hers yesterday. my life is so comically bad its genuinely a joke. n i wish i could tell yall im glad ive made it this long but i’m not

Nicotine Patch Dreams Episode 2: Pete Davidson Fall Guys

This one is much quicker. For context, my boyfriend and I went through a phase of constantly playing Fall Guys. This one was a one off - not sure when or how it happened but it was during my patch era.

So in the dream, my boyfriend and I were in a big livestream tournament for Fall Guys. We reached the final match and I fell off the platform. My boyfriend was left with one other person. He's doing really good in the match and has the upper hand.

ALL OF A SUDDEN

PETE FUCKING DAVIDSON SHOWS UP: HAND ON HIS CHIN AND NODDING. THE FALL GUYS TEXT STATES:

PETE DAVIDSON IS IMPRESSED.

It was like he was at a basketball game, but no. He was fucking SPECTATING FALL GUYS. He stopped nodding and jotted down notes. I guess he owns Fall Guys in this???

Then I woke up.

Nothing else.

That was it.

Who would have thought that accidentally wearing a nicotine patch to bed would be what unlocked Vivid Lucid Dreaming mode, what the fuck. Every time I go to sleep with one of those on it turns into a "you're finally here, let's walk you through your inner world!" tour and I'm LOSING IT.
