Finally finished my DIY Specimen band-t that I technically started last May. I had got everything done except adding the grommets and lacing up the sides, which I now finally got done now!

Funnily enough the base t-shirt that I built off of was a christian seminar t-shirt I stole from my dad, it's a bit ironic that it was made into a goth band-tee LMAOO

World Goth Day—May 22nd

Happy World Goth Day, fellow goth SPOP fans! Yes, I give Double Trouble a goth makeover, like, every other week. Yes, the day and character are completely unrelated. Yes, I’m subjecting you to this anyway because I’M a goth, and DT is my favorite character, so I wanted to draw this for myself.

I’ve been itching to draw DT with a deathhawk for some time, and I also decided to give them the heavy deathrock contour. I also made the streaks in their hair, coupled with the blond, the nonbinary flag colors.

(The logo on the shirt wasn’t drawn by me, it’s an image from Google—I was NOT going to attempt to draw The Sisters of Mercy logo by hand, lol.)

In case y'all are wondering, I am in fact a radical leftist Christian 'eclectic' goth.

Before y'all run off and react, I'm not a bigoted person that hides behind the faith; I am myself queer (abroromantic/fluid asexual) and nonbinary transgender (bigender and transmasc) and am constantly trying to unpack my biases. I'm against: racism, queerphobia/homophobia/transphobia/aphobia, xenophobia, classism, fatphobia, sexism, ableism and pretty much any 'ism' and phobic behavior. Luckily my church is with me on this and they're very accepting and accommodating.

I consider myself an "eclectic" goth, because I'm a mix of MANY different types of Goth. (Me!? I'm a mix of TradGoth/Deathrock, Nu Goth, RomantiGoth, Mall Goth, Pastel Goth, Perky Goth, Metalhead Goth, Fairy Goth, Geek Goth, and Vampire Goth.)

I'm a thirty-something, pansexual and genderfluid nonbinary bean originally from Tennessee, now living in Washington State. My pronouns are they/he/she or my first name.

I'm a geek goth. My fandoms are Star Trek (and most science fiction in general), Old-School Horror media (anything from the 1890's to 1980), Marvel (X-Men are the shit!!!!), and animanga. I listen to traditional gothic music (particularly: Gothic Rock, Deathrock, Coldwave, Ethereal Wave and Darkwave.) But I also LOVE : Nightcore, Nu-metal, Gothic Metal, Punk, Geek Rock, Nerdcore Rap, Kawaii Metal, and V-kei. I'm also a gaymer and coding nerd in training.

I'm neurodivergent; autistic with comorbidities like Borderline Personality and Bipolar. I put up a valiant fight against the latter two diagnoses.

I love Halloween (the holiday...not necessarily the movie), as I used to be a haunted house actor. I've also dabbled in cosplay, OC art, and writing fiction/fanfics in my past.
