Hey guys! I've finally got a website up and running as an alternative home for these transcripts!

I personally find them easier to read there than here but I intend to post each transcript in both places so you can do whatever works best for you!

I am currently in the process of both a) undertaking a long road trip and b) moving across the country, so unfortunately I will not be able to transcribe the new season 10 episodes until I arrive at my destination.

Transcript:

Male Siren 1 (MS1): I do not think that humans eat animals.

MS1: I have never seen one do such a thing, and humans have animals that they do not eat. So they must not eat animals.

MS1: Furthermore, their mouths are small. They cannot eat animals properly. And they cannot rip animals apart, as trolls do, because they are so weak.

Male Siren 2 (MS2): I do not know if that is correct. Many small and weak animals eat smaller and weaker animals. Foxes are small and weak animals, and foxes eat mice and voles.

MS1: That is true, you are correct. We cannot conclude that humans do not eat mice and voles.

Q: What made you want to start work, like become an ally to the community? What prompted you to say, do you know what, this injustice has gone on long enough.

David: When I was a teenager, there was this thing that Mrs. Thatcher's government introduced called Section 28, which was about stopping the "promotion" of homosexuality in schools, which was a weird umbrella term, which was basically saying it was illegal to talk about being gay in school or to suggest that that might be a normal way of behaving. We look back on that now as a medieval, absurd thing to try and say. And I think the way the trans community is being demonised and othered is exactly the same.

hello! i work to create transcriptions on a variety of videos, including videos with subtitles and those without them. i also want to work on subtitling videos without them.

i currently primarily transcribe short videos, generally under 5 minutes, but i do hope to transcribe more videos in the future. i aim to make the internet a more accessible place in the age where many people get their news from videos, which often do not have subtitles or transcripts. i am okay with translations of my transcripts, and in fact I encourage it!
