Idk I feel like instead of telling new witches / practitioners / spiritualities / [insert preferred word] what to do and what to stay away from we should be teaching them defining their personal values, discernment, critical thinking, encouraging them to always look at both/many perspectives before settling on what that truly resonates with them, and allowing them to take their time forming their personal beliefs - just a thought…

I.. agree with that statement? I completely agree with the fact that Palestine should be free. I’ve spoken up about Palestine several times and I continue to do so, especially outside of this platform. I’m assuming you automatically think I support Israel’s actions due to me mentioning I’m enlisting and it’s extremely dangerous and in fact, weird to assume someone supports what’s going on simply because they’re enlisting. You also have no idea why I’m enlisting.

Because you get to see everything only from Liam's POV, you never actually get an unbiased view of Aster's personality. During their first meeting it's clouded by the whole human-to-fae-communication thing and other times it's clouded by affection. That's not to say everything is misinterpreted, but well sometimes :)

I am in a friend group who has one or two straight people in it, and I honestly think that doesn't detract from the greater group in any way.

I would go on a rant or explanation-in-full about this, but I genuinely agree with these takes for the most part. I do feel that people should just communicate better and specify the difference between the different friend groups that they are in and what they expect from one another.

Next thing I am going to say would have gone in the tags, but I couldn't put it in there due to the restrictions on commas for some reason:

Miscommunication, Misunderstanding, and Willful Ignorance can ruin any social relationship regardless of the type.

Pettiness and selfishness can do some of the work too.

I'm kind of at a point where the "queer spaces" i feel safest in are the ones that have a pet cishet dude or two hanging around

I saw this reply by @disneyprincette and they hit the nail on the head so well with this, more people need to learn this, i never paid attention in school and i didn’t even finish the last three years of high school and even I can do this, as long as you’re actually paying attention to the media you supposedly like, it should be relatively simple to differentiate
