nothing sucks more in the world than saying to someone “i love you and care about you and want you to be safe” and they essentially tell you to fuck off

#every single person i try to talk to about covid #EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.#has either literally cursed at me for trying to talk about it or walked away or said they just didn’t wanna hear it #like sorry for trying to give you info that will literally save your life i guess #and make society liveable for people like me #not masking is murder #not masking is selfish #if you don’t care about public health you’re just not a good person #how can you watch people dying and getting disabled at every turn by covid and think oh well i just don’t care about that #it’s just like i don’t understand that mindset #especially if you have kids #your kids don’t understand the risks enough to make that choice for themselves #when you don’t mask or have your kids mask you are not giving them the choice of whether or not they allow a virus to enter their body #and potentially disable or kill them #they are only as safe as the parents allow them to be and if you aren’t protecting them then you have to accept the risk that they will #become disabled or die as a result #and if someone tells you hey there’s easy things you can do to prevent that #and you say i don’t care or i didn’t ask go away #then like what the fuck #kirby.txt #don’t reblog

One of my favorite oddly specific character tropes is the largely kind/benign little bean who's flaws/insecurities allows them to be corrupted by an unnatural and evil force.

Hollow and Cyn are a bit looser examples as Hollow was the one who started the manipulation and Cyn's original character is still mysterious. However, Hollow was only an intelligent docile fruit eater acting on its nature until it was pushed into eating meat and parasitized by the human ego/pain. Cyn was largely an unlucky outcast and an easy target for the Solver's infection.

The reasoning that "Hamas hide behind civilians/shelters" as justification for Israel bombing UN schools and hospitals is such a load of horseshit. You are basically saying that Palestinian lives are "necessary sacrifices" to defeat Hamas. That it's ok to murder entire families aslong as it destroys hamas(which it won't because hamas leaders don't even live in Gaza).

If you genuinely believe that the only solution to end this conflict is for Israel to cut water, food, electricity and the internet off followed by daily bombing the shit out of 2 million people(half of them children) then you are either incredibly brainwashed by the media or an actual facist.
