grimmichigrimmichigrimmichi >:3333 (pairing meme)
heheh okay- so shiP IT ofc 😂 .. but here's the answers;
What made you ship it?
so... I have a very specific list of qualities I look for when it comes to my favorite male characters. And Grimmjow fit them all 😂💕
When I first watched Bleach the only thing I shipped was IchiRuki, bc naturally that was the only way to go for me tbh, but then Grimm appeared and I was obsessed. When it comes to otps for me, first I find a fave character, then I consider the possible pairings. Not any other way. And with Grimmjow... well the only option for me was Ichigo tbh.
Not to discredit any other Grimmjow ships, I've done a few of them myself, but with how passionately these two throw themselves at each other I truly couldn't look any other way. Lol
So tldr; Grimmjow's got slut potential and I dig that, and they're too into each other for me not to see "gay" plastered all over them 💫
2. What are your favorite things about the ship?
Hmmm 🤔maybe how inherently feral it is, canon-wise. Also how harmonious their overall designs are together, there's nothing nicer than a pair that looks good together, at least as an artist. Also how easy they are (for me at least) to write/draw; I have a hard time focusing on one thing for long enough to get good at things (hence the many AUs lol!) so for me to have a ship I draw constantly for more than four years now... is truly astounding lmao. They helped me grow soooo much so they hold a dear dear place in my heart just bc of that alone.
And because of that last one: how easy it is to apply AUs to themmmm ;w;<33333 I can legit think of anything and make an AU out of it and not struggle too much to find the perfect place for them in it.
And also,, sort of fave sort of least fave- that it's not an overly popular ship in general (ik it's popular in the Bleach fandom itself, but rather; not popular like a ship from BNHA or JJK). Why; bc I get to have my quiet space where I draw all the ideas I want and yet have had verY few people throw insults at me for some of my darker stuff 😂 Bigger fandoms I've interacted with (as a viewer mostly) have had issues popping up left and right, people getting upset over dumb shit and letting that grow to huge proportions, "antis" everywhere... yeahhhh no thanks 😖
but also-- it gets verY quiet at times specially for someone who's so picky. Like, if I could find a fandom space like the exclusive bottom Bakugo enthusiasts I followed on twt (and even bought a whole zine about) but for GriMMJOW??? WOOF😭💕 so yeah,,, love-hate situation on this last bit lmaooo
3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
A few 😂😭 everyone who's followed my art for a certain amount of time can probs tell how the 'tism really affects how I enjoy ships lmaoooo I have to enjoy them a very specific certain way so... that means I don't partake at all on a good few of the popular tropes for the ship. Some I can think of rn; damsel-in-distress!Ichigo, overly hurtful!Grimm (although this one is more old fandom I think 🤔? I remember, in a lot of fics back then, Grimmjow was portrayed a lot as this violent rapist adgdfddfdff not for me lmaoo), ofc top!Grimm, Grimmjow acting all macho relationship wise, and too much angst (I think this ship (and Ichigo in general lets be honest) can call for a lot of angst in fic so I totally get it- but ...meh, if it's not romaticized/sexualized angst, idc for it adgdfgf I don't like it when they actually suffer 😭)
OOH OH! ALSO --- making them OOC in AUs CAN be great actually (to me at least). I know a lot of people (not just here, but in any ship/fandom/etc) don't love OOC characterizations of their fave characters/ships (hence why it's a tag we use tbh) but I personally love that at times??? I won't do it all the time and all over the place... but AUs where there's space to make Grimm less violent? or Ichigo less friendly/loving??? While still within their canon character potentials--- hecC yes. >:)ccc
Also ofc; that I wish it was still common to tag ships as top-bottom like it is with HoEn/EnHo (bnha), VK/KV /trigun, KRBK/BKKR (bnha) etc or at least tag it some other way along the ship.... it would be sO much easier to filter out stuff i don't want to see instead of having to mute/block a whole person I would still love to see stuff from.
BuT I am aware most have no preference whatsoever lmaO so... yeah nothing I can do there except not follow people pfFFF 😂😭 (and wait until I find peeps with similar tastes aasdfs)

Hi! I’ve seen your tags but I don’t think I’ve seen a post about it, so may I ask what your cowboy story is about?
Hellooo!
I need to go fix a lot of my tags bc I couldn't remember what I have posted about it, but mostly I did a few posts during Yeehawgust and that was it. XD
Ok so.
Several years ago I was binging episodes of Bonanza (I was also depressed ok), and stumbled across one called "The Avenger" which introduced this soft-spoken, genteel drifter who shows up just in time to stop some of the main characters from being executed for a crime they didn't commit. When they finally ask him why he cared enough to endanger himself with the real criminals, he explains his father was wrongfully killed and he's seeking the men who did it - yet the episode shows him going out of his way to avoid killing, even when up against some of the men he is after and him being a deadly-excellent crack shot.
We aren't given the man's proper name in the story, but he's from a town called Lasater, Kansas, and so Lasater is what the townfolk call him.
The episode was intended to spin off its own series, about Lasater, and another show, Outlaws, featured an episode starring the same actor with loosely the same story. This man was given a name, but it was imho a silly name so I stuck with Lasater. (I think he was loosely inspired by the Zane Grey character Lasater, which is probably why they gave him another name later.) In any case, the spinoff never happened, and Lasater's story remained unfinished.
But I loved him. I have rewatched that episode multiple times since. The character is just so....??
He befriends and protects a young boy in town. (He has a real soft spot for kids in particular, and in the Outlaws episode he allows an older boy to become his partner after similarly protecting and befriending him.)
He spoils his horse.
He's a loner by mission but you can tell he really likes people and enjoys having company.
He wears his hat adorably back on his head like a little kid.
He's really concerned with cleanliness, it's noted in both episodes lol.
He's kind and refuses to be provoked by hotheaded men.
He is moved to empathy for but not swayed by the damsel in distress.
He has a sense of humor drier than the desert.
He's dangerous in a calm sort of way.
He defeats the bad guys by compassionately but firmly convincing a scared woman to tell the truth (and then of course there is a shootout but he actually has very little to do with it).
I loved the character and the hints of his story (his lawman father hanged by outlaws, his town burned, his mission to bring the villains to justice - that justice being a jail and a court trial) so entirely, that when I found out the episode had entered the public domain, I dug in to write the rest of his story.
In my continuation, Lasater and his new young friend Sonny are on the trail of the remaining outlaws (it would have made a good mini series, but not a long-standing one probably, so I can tie up all the loose ends in a novel lol), and the trail leads them to a small town that wants nothing to do with trouble, but where they must make their final stand against the murderous gang. I get to turn a few more tropes on their head (like what roles Lasater and Sonny play in the climax, and a love interest who is not a love interest) and... Yeah. Couple of cowboys came and stole my heart.
Ended up writing it for last year's NaNoWriMo project and I'm trying to get up the time and energy to begin rewrites.
For now, the story is still called Lasater, Kansas. It may get a proper name someday. 😂
Thanks for asking!
Please enjoy some low quality gifs I made of Lasater's tv appearances:

Me: Oh no, he’s in the rain, he’s gonna get sick!
BF: What is it with the ‘rain makes you sick’ trope?
Me: Well, I mean SEA and Eurasia does have pretty terrible air pollution. But really it’s just a reason to have one character become a damsel in distress, it’s a low effort way to have the love interest feel them up with the wet white towel of healing.
BF: I’m gonna pretend I know what that is and just move right along.
Me: 😂😂😂

So I saw the results of the character poll and I would like to voice my support of Noah as the all time GOAT of the Goldencomet-verse
Ik Peter won, and don't get me wrong, I love Peter, but maybe he's a bit too much of an asshole. Like, he doesn't catch enough retribution for his actions and Benji is kinda forced to deal with it and it's played off as a joke. Sure, Benji flings enough insults to make a French man laugh, but none of them are really taken seriously by anyone (especially that dress scene. That was wrong and no one ever apologized in the slightest, even Peter). I need some retribution and I need some W's for me to ride or die for a ship.
That all being said, that's one of the reasons why I LOVE Noah (and Ali). Noah, while being super introverted (from what I've seen), he's still not taking shit from anyone. AND ALI RESPECTS IT 👏👏. I like myself a relationship built off of genuine pure-bred respect. That's why I love enemies to lovers or rivals to lovers (even though idk if YWIMC counts as either. Could be wrong tho). Most of the time in those two tropes, the romance stems from genuine (although begrudging) RESPECT. And respect and pity are two different things. 'Aw poor *insert character here*' also isn't a good relationship foundation. If the relationship isn't built off of long-standing respect of the 'I see you as my equal' caliber, I don't want it.
I would also like to voice my love for Noah in a separate paragraph, cause I kinda just yapped about the relationship lol. Noah, as I mentioned, doesn't take shit from NOBODY. 'Introverted' sure as hell doesn't mean pushover when it comes to Noah. And, for every ounce of not taking shit, there's an equal amount of softness towards those he loves. You need an equal balance for a delicious romance and he does it perfectly 🤌🤌. I also like that, while he isn't the strongest physically, he's still not a pathetic mop of a character. He earns his wins through his own means and HE DESERVES IT. Even when he has help, he's not the ever constant damsel in distress waiting for his big strong boyfriend to save him. He does something, he tries his best, and I respect him for it.
And i would like to end this with saying I love Peter Hart, even though ik it sounded like I was hating lol. It was a really fun read and funny a lot of times. Ig getting away with assholery just strikes a sore spot 😂
One last side note: I will definitely be reading YWIMC when it comes out if you can't tell (and also sorry for the rant)
I am absolutely in love with this post!! Thank you so much for making it!! Don’t ever feel bad for voicing an opinion of my characters! In fact, I am so happy to see Noah get some genuine love!! This post gave me the goofiest smile and I appreciate you making it 💛✨
Noah has a soft spot in my own heart because of his jaded “front,” but he’s not afraid to let his vulnerability show….ESPECIALLY around Ali. Noah has trouble expressing his emotions due to his ASD, so seeing him make genuine wins and setting firm boundaries with people make us go, “YES! Don’t take shit from anyone! 👏 👏 👏”
One of the main themes of YWIMC is stepping outside of comfort zones and letting rigid barriers fall (in Noah’s case) whereas the lesson that Ali learns is that you can love someone regardless of your upbringing, and to eventually get over fears of attachment.
Seeing so much love for Noah is genuinely heartwarming, and I thank you so much for making this ask! 💫
(And Peter is such an asshole lmao. Entertaining, but an asshole nonetheless. This is a totally valid criticism of his character 😂✨)

Happy STS, Anna!
What is something that makes its way into everything you write? A character type, a scene, a trope, anything?
Is there something you really want to include in a story at some point, but haven't had the chance yet?
And do you ever hide easter eggs in your writing, even if chances that anyone will find them are low?
Happy STS from last week! 😅
What is something that makes its way into everything you write? A character type, a scene, a trope, anything?
I always seem to come up with a defiant, snarky, at times asshole character... lol Also, captivity is a trope that in my limited amount of writing, has somehow come up every single time.
Is there something you really want to include in a story at some point, but haven't had the chance yet?
Yes! I really want that stereotypical damsel in distress, who can't save themselves and/or has just given up. I want them rescued, I want them clinging to their rescuer after, I want them so traumatized that it takes forever for them to claw their way out of their pit of despair and the only one keeping them sane is that rescuer who they slowly fall in love with. Rescuer fell in love a long time ago, btw, but waits patiently for them to recover/doesn't believe they will ever be able to love them.
Unfortunately, every time I try to write one, I end up with a defiant, snarky asshole who is exceedingly difficult to break 😅😂 The closest I've come is Resh, I think.
And do you ever hide easter eggs in your writing, even if chances that anyone will find them are low?
No, I don't. It isn't really something I think about. Although once I edit Resh and Carr and possibly Nykim into Shattered Dreams, I suppose you *could* consider them an easter egg lol

Holy shit, your works are dimensional man
I first read the married xiao flower story and next thing you know Scara is spitting down peoples throats, right in front of their own homes
Had to double check if the same person wrote it, damn 😂
Are you into the damsel in distress trope? Or comfort after pain (like after some kidnapping / abuse idk lol)? I'd love to see you write that kind of stuff with Childe or Diluc maybe but I'm fine with anything at this point if it's from you haha
aw thanks! and lmao yeah it can be a bit of a whiplash. i tend to be flexible when it comes to writing so i can pretty much write anything as long as it interests me ^^

Loli mom for the win! Allen’s mom stole the show in this one, absolutely hilarious. “You wouldn’t be lying to me about being lovers would you?😂 You can see where Eruka gets her personality. The dad is great as well. Can’t believe they destroyed half of the island with their fight. Guess Allen was in his rebellious phase

Definitely excited for Charlotte and Natalia to meet after so long apart. The flashback to Charlotte’s time at the mansion was really sad. Even though Charlotte couldn’t do much for Natalia, the little time they spent together reading meant the world to her
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her going from a sheltered girl to the school boss is pretty funny. Kinda like how lonely kids ended up being bullies to take it out on others in school. Nice twist on the usual damsel in distress trope

this is 🦋 anon turned 🦉 anon from that last ask!! i checked and since it seems to not be taken yet i'd love to put dibs on 🐯 <- this one instead lol
i totally agree with the „i hate everyone but you“ and „touch them and i'll kill you“ trope thing! but at the same time it’s very enjoyable to me that you’re not making the mc into the typical damsel in distress. i live for the fact that miss girl always has a say in everything and puts the boys in their place lmao
speaking of putting them in their place, i kinda had a chuckle over the fact that in your writing, hwa always seems to be the one to be the most difficult out of all of them / mess up something.. poor guy can never catch a break 😭
Sure thing! 🐯 anon it is!
Thank you!! I really appreciate that!! And I totally agree, I definitely feel like there's a time and place for those types of characters, but I also prefer to write stronger characters in that sense rather than them always being the damsel.
Lmaoo you're not the only one. Oh, the joys of making my biases suffer 🥰😂🤧

I feel like I'm always coming to you for period drama/classic lit recs 😂😂😂😂 i really hope u don't mind if u ever do feel free to just ignore me lol but since I'm reading North and South now (I'm having so much fun with it btw) was wondering what film/series adaption u like best
Of course I don't mind at all! And I love reading your comments on different books.
This is a complicated question... as far as I know there are only four adaptations of North and South: two tv series of four one hour episodes each, one from 75' and one from 04', and then two radio dramas, 3 one hour episodes each, one from 97' and another from 2022. None of them are good adaptations of North and South as adaptations of North and South.
What I mean by this: some are better than others as standalone things, but in one way or another they either don't understand some of the themes, plot lines, and character dynamics and why they are the way they are, or they are just taking the book story as a backdrop to insert common tropes they like, or whatever they think the story should be actually about.
It's difficult to put examples, as you are so early on in the reading, but one could be that 2022 decides Mr Hale is actually a wise character that philosophically shapes and embodies the lessons of the book, so all his shortcomings as husband and father are either lessened or omitted, and he's given far more wisdom and foresight than what he had in the book.
There are stories I can trust an adaptation to introduce the book to the readers decently enough, even when they do take liberties with plot and characters (such would be the case of Cranford 2007, for example, or P&P 95 or Wives and Daughters 1999), and neither of the adaptations fit that bill, which is a pity.
So, that's for the preamble XD
I find both radio adaptations enragingly bad. My expectations were low, and I was disappointed to not find even one scene I could say "now, that's a satisfying rendition of this". You don't even get a dialogue accurate ending for either, and they are both riddled with baffling decisions. I do not recommend these at all.
Then there's the 1975 miniseries. It is very much a 1970s BBC series. It's low budget, Margaret is more of a delicate damsel in distress, and Patrick Stewart overacts as John Thornton. It's somewhat better than the radio dramas, because of the added length and some less wildness in changes. It's also rather dull.
So what's left is 2004. 2004 is a very beloved period drama. Apparently there is a dedicated facebook group for it, although no Elizabeth Gaskell page at all. And that's sort of the crux of it. If the book is velvet, sort of very rich and textured but rather heavy and difficult to work with, the series is silk, lighter, shinier... lovely in its own way, high quality, but it's not the same thing.
For example, Margaret becomes a bit of a blank slate, and John becomes the big Darcy-Beast-Hades mashup. The drama is turned up to eleven: their first meeting is Margaret bursting into the mill and witnessing Thornton beating a worker up in a fit of rage (they justify it later, but it is... well, what it is).
So it is a common thing for people to watch the series, then try the book and find it dull and boring and that's the end of it. And I have a love-hate relationship with the series because of it. It's not that much of a good adaptation of N&S (granted, its heights are higher than the highs of the other adaptations, some of it is perfect), but it is a delightful period drama.
So that's more or less where I am at.

The more I think about it, working off the previous thoughts on possible Earthspark Thundercracker, the more I think I'd really appreciate a lady Thundercracker from Earthspark. I mean, need a traditional Damsel in Distress? There you go! Sweet, gentle-natured, doesn't want to fight anymore, just write and be with her dog? I'm good with that. (Just don't mess with the dog or human friends because she definitely survived a massive war. 😂)
Besides, we've gotten lady Skywarp twice now. And our trope-ish Damsel will most definitely not be Elita-1 or Arcee or Dot or one of the kids, if one happens.
(Yes, yes, this time it's my brain attempting to make a Romantic Hero out of Megatron. 👀🥵💦💦💦 Am I shipping again? Yes. Yes, I am.)
Still, though, I just want Thundercracker and Buster, however we can get them.

Hi Aimee, for the writing ask game would you answer 6, 15 & 22?
Hi Lee! Thank you for taking the time to send me this ask🥰
6. Fluff or angst?
Im partial to a bit of angst lol but I love fluff too, I guess a mixture of them both in a fic is my favourite! You can never go wrong with fluff tho so I’m gonna choose fluff!
15. What are some of your favorite tropes to write?
I love a damsel in distress (although I completely agree with the fact that women DONT always need men and are more than capable of fending for themselves, we’re strong ass beings!) but I think that’s because I love writing for a protective/caring Tommy😂 so I think my main favourite trope is finding a way to make Tommy take control and show how protective he is of his girl
22. Pick out a random line from a fic you're really proud of
‘Of course she wanted to believe her own husband but when he'd already broken one promise, one that had ultimatley almost led to her death, how could she possibly believe that he'd keep this one?’
Thank you for sending in this ask🥰

Just curious. Are there any kinks or tropes you'd like to write about that you haven't yet?
Hi nonny! Hm... none in particular, besides maybe some more multiple partner stuff (like the Eddie x Reader x Rick fic I'm still intending to write). Trope-wise I have this Ghost x Reader longfic idea kicking around in my head where Reader gets trafficked and Task Force 141 rescues her, so like a damsel-in-distress mixed with one-bed trope featuring bonding over similar traumas & falling in love, but longfics still feel kinda outside my capabilities right now, so I don't see that coming for awhile haha.
There are a lot of kinks I like reading about that I could never write because I do not think I'd be able to pull them off haha like darkfic territory? Love em, cannot write em. I'm just a little too sappy 😩 Though if I ever did attempt, you can be sure of one thing:
It would have a happy ending 😂 I literally cannot write something without one!

Recent Reads Part IV.
Tumblr media
Here I am again listing stuff I’ve recently finished. I’m pleased to find short novels ( less than 75 chapters ) that I enjoyed. If you’re looking for something like that, then you can peek at this list. I gravitate towards fun and light reads ( mostly ). I placed the NU links for the summary/warnings/other people’s comments as well as link to the english translation of the novel. (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡
1. Outside the Law | NU LINK | English Translation
I’ll start with my favorite then. This novel impressed me with how much you can give a reader with just 15 chapters. Yes, 15. You can finish it in one sitting and it’s amazing. This was written for me. Smut, Violence, Angst, Love to the point of Obsession and a Happy ending. I’ve re-read this right after I finished it cause I can’t believe how good it is. Please read the tags tho cause it’s not a “light” read. There is also a Manhua! I really wish someone will make an AU of this for Wangxian. Lol.
2. Restricted Area | NU LINK | English Translation
The setting of this is in a prison and I don’t think I’ve ever read one with this setup. Violence is expected in this type of story but it’s tolerable and it adds to the plot. MC/ML dynamic is so good because they treat each other as equals. MC is not some helpless damsel in distress. The pacing of the story is good too and it blends the “plot” and romance really well.
3. Do you Remember My Name? | NU LINK | English Translation
FLUFF. Absolute fluff and I drowned in it. It’s the perfect example of love making you a better version of yourself. 🤍
4. Marriage Agreement | NU LINK | English Translation
I don’t think this needs much explanation— arranged marriage. just be warned of the huge age gap tho. I am a sucker for this trope in fiction only and it’s almost always guaranteed to keep me entertained. nothing ground breaking about this novel tho.
5. I got marked by A Shadow Guard | NU LINK | English Translation
Another one that doesn’t need much explanation, it’s A/B/O. A prince and his guard. *swoons* It may be short but it’s not really all about the dynamics, the author was able to lay a solid foundation for court politics.
6. Everyone thinks that I like Him | NU LINK | English Translation
It’s the kind of rom com that I can’t stop reading. It’s simple, funny and heartwarming. I like how the MC slowly realized his feelings for the ML because he got to know who he was. I have a thing for Love At first Sight stories but the way you can see how the MC views the ML from chapter 1 till the end was special. It also is technically an enemies to lovers trope, so that’s a huge plus.
7. Ex Husband’s Call | NU LINK | English Translation
Ohhhh. Falling in love with your ex-husband, such a spicy trope! 🌶 The thing is they agreed to get married for a year and if things don’t work out, they will separate. but they ended up falling in love with each other. I love it because this is what I look for when people say “mature relationship” in a story. MC/ML are in their 30s and while they do make some dumb decisions, I understand it and things work out. There is a side plot cause ML is a policeman and some other personal issues they have to resolve. I adore the MC’s kinky tendencies ! Good for him! We don’t kink shame in this house! 😂😂😂
8. Love Stops Rumors | NU LINK | English Translation
This novel solidified the fact that I enjoy reading about two dumbass characters fall in love. The situations here made me cackle because of how people misunderstood everything. It’s a fun read. ✌🏼
9. The Daily Life of being the Campus’ idol Fake Boyfriend | NU LINK | English Translation
Look. I don’t care of you give me 10 different stories with the same trope of fake relationship and I would still enjoy it. I will still angst and hold my breath, knowing they are bound to end up in a real relationship. I liked the characters here, especially Ling Ke. The disaster of him being gay but pretending to be straight, yet he has to “act” gay for this fake relationship is gold.
Stuff on my TBR, meaning I have a tab opened for it : Don’t you like me / New Times, New Hell.
Feel free to rec me your short novel favorites too! 🤍

It’s so crazy you said Erik would be with a tall girl bc I absolutely agree. I remember when I first started reading his fanfics I would always see him paired with girls described as 5’5 and under and they’d always be skinny or petite and in the back of my mind I always was like no this doesn’t fit. Like yes I do they he wouldn’t be opposed to a smaller woman but Erik has always struck me as a Amazon lover. He prides himself on strength and I’ve always viewed taller or thicker women as these Amazonian goddesses. Idk it’s something about smaller girls that fits more with the damsel in distress trope or more of the babydoll ddlg trope. I see him with someone built like Megan the stallion or tall like zendaya even Rihanna I think she is like 5’9 which is relatively tall compared to most women I know. I feel like sturdy strong women are the biggest turn on for him. Someone who just looks domineering and like she holds her on w/o needing help. But she’ll gladly be soft for him. Idk he seems like the thick tall girls num 1 fan😂 coming from someone who’s 5’6 I’m a lil jealous but I’m thick so I guess I got half of it😂
I totally agree!!! Not saying he doesn’t like short women but I feel you lol. I feel like he’s a leg man like the longer the legs the better lol.
But then it’s also cute when they are fun size too lol compared to his big stature. But I do love the dynamic of Erik and a tall, thick woman 😭
(Bakari likes tall woman so this is funny lol)

whats your favorite bond movie? and also what's another AU that you have on the works? If you have one, if not ignore that. I hope you feel better, wishing you a full and speedy recovery :)
Thank you Nonnie!!!
This is going to sound crazy but I’m actually not a fan of the Bond films. I’ve seen the most couple of recent ones because I love Ben Whishaw but the plots are too flimsy in a super rigid story world for me. I prefer The Man From UNCLE or the most recent Charlie’s Angels or The Spy Who Dumped Me in terms of my spy movies. (Bond’s also a little too sexist for me as soon by the trend in my stated faves. Damsel-in-distress trope who? Them dudes are the ones who need help 😂) HOWEVER Dominic Cooper and Lara Pulver did a series about the creator called Fleming that was really good that I’d highly recommend.
I’ve got a couple canon verse fics in the works that I’m hoping to get back to once everything settles down but I’m working part three of Mermaid AU as well!
