While it's a smaller gift, I'm still pleased with this notebook cover I made for @memetrashmom .

The shell is a heavily waxed leather, and as it gets used, the white wax will fade, revealing the purple leather underneath. Meanwhile, the pockets are made from bubble dyed leather, where I also spritzed periwinkle blue ink, as the original intent was to make a cover inspired by her character Amaryllis with notes of her character Zadok and my Eilidh.

Overall, I think the waxed leather still fits (it's also Fancy Leather lol) and I'm very pleased with the bubble dye. Normally I love added tons of color to a piece, so it was a fun challenge to restrain it.
