WIP Wednesday: New AU, Sebagni Sickfic
Tumblr media
This excerpt is from a new self-indulgent AU I’m working on. It’s set in modern Houston, like many of my fics, with a human Sebastian with a rare chronic illness, a heap of medical (and other) trauma he hasn’t processed, and his new live-in nurse, Agni.
Over the course of the story, Agni gets Seb to heal and accept his intentions as genuine, and the two of them become closer.
Here’s an extra-long snippet to hopefully get you as excited for this as I am, lol.
[No real TW here, but it does deal with medical issues, chronic illness, with minor references to PTSD/panic attacks.]
“This is Agni,” Tanaka said as they approached. “Agni, this is Sebastian.”
Agni smiled. In another life, Sebastian may have appreciated how incredibly handsome he was. He’d always been attracted to tall men, but that was behind him now. No one could look at him like this: stuck in bed, barely able to shift himself, a shell of who he once was, and see him as anything but an object of pity at best, or someone who should be euthanized at worst.
A stab of physical pain as a muscle spasmed in his side, blending with the emotional anguish these thoughts brought forth, the brief image of him that almost made Sebastian choke on a breath. He grunted, then did his best to shove it all out of mind. No way he could let his guard down around a new nurse. No matter how bad he was feeling.
“They outsourcing now?” Sebastian spat bitterly. He watched for Agni’s reaction. He didn’t even twitch, but continued to smile. They always seemed so nice and helpful and friendly when Tanaka was around. But as soon as he and Seb were alone—
“It is a sincere pleasure to meet you,” Agni said formally, without a hint of an accent Sebastian could detect. He felt a tiny sting of guilt for what he’d said, but he dismissed the thought before it could blossom. “Do you prefer I call you Mr. Michaelis, Sebastian, or something else?”
Eyes narrowed with suspicion, he replied, “Sebastian is fine.”
Agni nodded. He took a hesitant step closer. It hadn’t escaped Sebastian’s notice that Tanaka had unconsciously placed himself between them. “Can I ask how your pain is right now?” Agni took a tiny notebook from the pocket of his bag, along with a pen, and began to jot some things down.
Tanaka nodded as if to urge Seb to be honest. But what would that solve? It’s not like Agni could really do anything about his pain. Sebastian was used to it. He hadn’t had a single pain-free day in more than ten years. Unless Agni had a magic wand hidden in his bag, the best he could do would be meaningless platitudes. Like “the new anti-inflammatory medicine will start working and relieve your pain soon,” or some shit like that.
“Why the fuck do you care?” Sebastian spat, not in the mood to make nice.
A small frown crossed Agni’s stunning features before he shifted into what was presumably his sympathetic face. “I would like to make you as comfortable as I can. I’m not here only to attend to simple medical needs like giving you medication. I want to improve your quality of life as much as I can.”
Sebastian scowled. It didn’t help that breathing was harder, the pain magnifying, perhaps exacerbated by stress. If he’d had the strength, he’d have hurled something at him and yelled for Agni to just fucking leave him be.
Agni didn’t need to be a mind reader to gauge Sebastian’s mood, but he was either a very good actor or more patient than most, because he didn’t crack yet. “It seems like you’re uncomfortable right now. Could I examine you quickly?”
No. But behind Agni, Tanaka whispered in Japanese, “Behave. I have a good feeling about this one.”
Subduing a growl, Sebastian nodded. Braced himself for rough handling that would aggravate his pain.
Agni set his bag on the side table and removed some supplies, including antibacterial gel he used to clean his hands before pulling on a pair of blue gloves. His forearms were muscular without being excessive, and Sebastian found himself watching as the man worked, apparently not the type to make meaningless chitchat. That was good, at least.
He hated the ones who felt like they had to constantly fill the silence with their babbling, talking to him like he was a toddler and not a grown man in his 30s.
“Let me slip this on your finger,” he said, not reaching and forcefully grabbing Sebastian’s arms like most nurses would have, but instead waiting for him to offer an index finger for the little oxygen meter he clipped onto the tip. “And now I want to listen to your heart and lungs, if that’s all right?”
Sebastian sighed, winced when it pulled and spiked his pain, but quickly pushed his face into neutral. “Fine.”
Tanaka walked around to the other side of the bed, adjusting the curtains so the shifting sun wouldn’t be in Sebastian’s eyes.
Agni was delicate. He warmed the head of the stethoscope with his hands before slipping it under Sebastian’s T-shirt and listening intently in various spots before asking him to breathe deeply and slowly. He even managed to slide the stethoscope between Sebastian and the bed to listen to his back without him yanking him up and away from the mattress like a sack of potatoes. If Sebastian didn’t know better, Tanaka had told him exactly where his pain was bad today, and he was actually taking that into consideration. Had to be for show.
“How are you feeling right now?” Agni asked as he removed the stethoscope and replaced it in his bag.
“Well, I was going to the opera tonight, but I’m a bit tired, so I may have to cancel my plans.” Sebastian glared at the neglected electric wheelchair in the corner of the room. The one he’d been so excited for when he’d first received it, believing he would have newfound freedom with it, that he’d be less encumbered by his disability and illness. That he would have accepted him—
A wave of nausea overwhelmed him and he had to cup his hand over his mouth.
Agni worked quickly, grabbing a kidney-shaped emesis basin from the table and quickly placing it beneath his chin, deftly sliding a hand behind his back to support him without causing him pain.
But Sebastian was able to swallow it down and shove Agni away as well as his limited strength allowed.
But Agni didn’t seem to mind. He nodded, checked the monitor, and said instead, “Your oxygen levels are a little lower than I would like. Are you having any trouble breathing?”
Sebastian glared, but the jerking of his stomach earlier had caused his entire rib cage to feel like it was aflame, and it was easier not to breathe until the burn got so bad he had to inhale. Despite doing all he could to stay focused and in control, he could feel panic setting in. No. Not now. Not with this new nurse he didn’t know from Adam.
Gasping and gripping the sheets, Sebastian felt darkness swirling in on the edges. He struggled against it, fighting himself, fighting his body, fighting traumatic memories that tried to yank him further away from control.
A warm hand on his head. A mask placed in his face. A soothing, deep voice urging him to breathe, to relax, that he’d be OK. Someone held his hand.
With the machine’s assistance, despite the pain, his lungs filled and emptied due to the shifting pressure, and the dizzy, swimming sensation faded to clarity. He hated relying on this thing. The bipap machine. But it helped when his muscles were especially weak, or in moments like this. Let him rest. Without fear he’d stop breathing.
Agni pulled something else from his bag. A small tube. “Have you ever used this ointment before? It’s a topical anti-inflammatory, and I’ve had many of my patients swear by it. I could put some where your pain is worst, if you’d like.”
Go fuck yourself, Sebastian wanted to say, but he was too drained.
Tanaka squeezed his hand as if to encourage him to accept Agni’s help.
“It absorbs quickly, so you don’t need to use too much. I’ll be as gentle as I can.”
Sebastian offered a small nod and pointed lazily to his torso and back. His heart was still racing, and he would have preferred Tanaka do this, but that would take more energy to explain than he had right now.
Over the next few minutes, Agni carefully applied the medicated cream to Sebastian’s sides and back, Tanaka letting Seb lean against him to ease the strain as the nurse coated his back with it. Sebastian was almost stoic through it all, and yet somehow Agni seemed to have a sixth sense for where his pain was worst, concentrating his ministrations there while keeping his touch feather-light.
Then, with Tanaka’s help, he shifted Sebastian onto his side, layering pillows to support his most painful areas. Agni worked slowly so as to minimize spiking his pain. No nurse had treated him so gently or with so much consideration. If he hadn’t had dozens of bad examples, he might have been tempted to believe Agni actually did care.
“This’ll take some strain off your ribs,” Agni said in a low, rich voice.
Now that the adrenaline crash was hitting him, and the cream was dulling the pain, exhaustion began to pull Sebastian so strongly he struggled to keep his eyes open.
“Get some rest. I’ll check on you later.” Agni slipped the call button into Sebastian’s hand, petting it momentarily as if to give him reassurance, though it felt patrionizing. Still, it was considerate enough. Meant if he woke up in agony he wouldn’t have to move to call for help.
Tanaka stroked Sebastian’s arm soothingly before pulling the blankets up around him. “The heated blanket will help,” he whispered. “Sleep for a while.”
Sebastian gave up fighting and let his lids slide closed.
I hope you enjoyed this! If you do, let me know..!
I’m really hoping I’ll be able to post the first chapter of this this month.
Reblogs are always appreciated !!
Special thanks to @apocalypticromantic666 for all their encouragement and support!!

What are some Zutara fanfics you like?
thank you for asking anon! rubbing my hands together and laughing diabolically rn. most of these fics are completed, but i have a few incomplete or ongoing ones listed at the bottom.
The Color of the Stars by bluenebulae this is my zutara bible... i have read this 3 times, and i think it's still my favorite zutara fic. it diverges from canon during the day of black sun. katara and zuko are both captured and thrown into prison and after breaking out together, they become reluctant allies and travel the world in search of the gaang while also trying to warn the other nations about ozai's plans.
they call you refugee by akaiiko
an arranged marriage alternate universe where when zuko is banished, he leaves the fire nation with—actually, the summary does a pretty good job of explaining it: "Zuko goes into exile with a scar, a mission, and a wife." i think i cried the first time i read this.
refraction by caroes3725
this one's my post-war zutara bible. it is maybe the post-war swt ambassador/politician katara slow burn of all time. it is 200k+ words and it's all worth it, i promise! i prommy!!! read it now!!!! <- this along with The Color of the Stars are maybe my favorite zutara longfics. period.
Mending Wounds by FictionIsSocialInquiry
canon divergent fic where katara sees visions of zuko in the foggy swamp. except in these visions he is older, the fire lord, her husband, and he is gentle and loving, and katara feels sick to her stomach! one of my favs!!!!
lost and found by Smediterranea
hakoda discovers a young zuko, injured, and takes him in. beautiful alternate universe fic where zuko grows up in the southern water tribe with sokka and katara.
The Things We Hide by Lykegenia
katara is held in the fire nation as a political prisoner following the southern water tribe's defeat after an assault launched by fire lord ozai during sozin's comet. the swt, however, will not go down with a fight. love, love, love this one! it has painted lady katara, blue spirit zuko, a sweet romance, political intrigue, and betrayal!!! it's a fun time. also i love hama's inclusion in this :)
The Blackfish and the Dragon by ama
during the day of black sun, iroh takes matters into his own hands and becomes fire lord. shortly after, a marriage is arranged between zuko and katara in order to secure the peace. it's a beautiful arranged marriage au where everyone is so perfectly in character. i really think this fic is one of the best zutara fics out there with a natural and rewarding slow burn romance. and azula is there and she's perfect.
Smoke & Mirrors by sansonnets
blutara bible!!!!!!! that's all i got... blutara go CRAZYYY
so i can die where i met you by irridescence
canon compliant. zuko and katara, eighty years later. the fic is centered around major character death(s), so don't read if you can't handle it but i was sobbing like a fucking baby by the end of it. such a beautiful gorgeous fic that will haunt me forever.
if you don't mind incomplete or ongoing fics:
But Who's Counting? by halfhoursonearth
katara thinks zuko's going to need at least 100 healing sessions after the agni kai. lovely prose and characterization and it's so tender and sweet. just read it!!!
so let us melt, and make no noise by LittleLostStar
zuko is sent on a mission to bring back the heart of the last waterbender so he can restore his honor and return home. but when he nearly dies while in the south pole, a healer named katara saves him and nurses him back to health. (the author describes this as a kinda-sorta frozen AU, and i think it's a pretty good description haha). it's an incredible AU with so much mystery and intrigue and tension!
forgetting is a kind of mercy by nerdylizj
"Five years after Katara and Zuko go missing in Ba Sing Se, Kya and Lee are found living peacefully in the Earth Kingdom countryside." finally, i gotta plug liz's silly n goofy dai li brainwashing fic. it's so good. so painfully angsty. it's about the pain of remembering and about making hard choices and identity and parenthood!!!

Zutara prompt: During Zuko's recovery Katara asks him why he took Azula's lightning. For him, the reason couldn't be more clear.
Eeeeeek this is so cuteeeee
Me when Zutara fluff❤️❤️❤️
-
Zuko was in and out of consciousness the first five days after the Agni Kai. Nurses were rushing in and out of his room at all times during those days. The only thing that remained constant was Katara by his side.
When he first saw her, he hadn’t even remembered how they had gotten together in the first place, the memories of his Agni Kai with Azula still blurry. Then, when he finally had time to reassess himself, he let out a sigh of relief.
Katara was safe, and that meant they won.
Every so often, he would awake to Katara healing him, her hands placed right where the throbbing pain of a lightning strike lay. When her hands were over his chest, however, the pain would subside, and he could properly relax into her touch.
If Katara ever recognized him waking up, she never acknowledged it, her sole focus being on healing him.
He would relax his eyes and fall back asleep after that.
Zuko was finally able to have conversations a week after the Agni Kai, and was soon moved to the Fire Lord’s palace where he would be in the care of Katara and a few other nurses.
“Thank Tui and La you’re okay!” Katara exclaimed when she saw him awake in his own bed.
“Katara,” he rasped out, attempting to start a conversation but falling into a coughing fit.
“Don’t speak! Here, let me get you some water.” Katara left the room only to return two minutes later with a large class of water for Zuko.
Zuko took a few sips and let his body relax to the refreshing water.
“Now,” Katara said, placing a hand on Zuko’s bed beside him, “what were you thinking!? Jumping in front of lighting!? Why!?” She nearly screamed, making Zuko jump at her outburst.
Her eyebrows were knitted with confusion, and her eyes were watery. She quickly dragged her palm against her eyes to make sure no tears spilled. Zuko finally got a good look of her face. Her nose and waterline were a light shade of pink, meaning that she had probably been crying earlier.
Zuko swallowed hard, he didn’t know how to properly convey his emotions through words, there was little he actually knew how to do through words.
After a few long moments of the two of them looking at each other, Zuko finally spoke.
“It was the honorable thing to do,” he affirmed with a sharp nod of his head.
Katara’s mouth gaped open, then closed, then open again. Her eyebrows knitted closer together as she took in Zuko’s entire figure.
“You’re lying,” she said after ten seconds.
“What?”
“You have a tell. You’re lying.”
Zuko was not lying. Why Katara beloved such a conspiracy was beyond him. He scoffed at her and crossed his arms.
“Tell me the truth!” She pleaded, searching for answers on Zuko’s face.
Zuko watched her with his one good eye. She seemed so distraught, it was a horrible position to see Katara in.
But he wouldn’t back down.
Deep down, Zuko knew he wasn’t telling the entire truth. He knew he was giving excuse after excuse, but the lump in his throat wouldn’t allow him to say anything more.
“Zuko, please! You could have died. You don’t just sacrifice your life for someone because it was the honorable thing to do, that’s stupid! God, you’re so stupid,” she yelled, pacing around Zuko’s new room.
“Fine, then I’m stupid. I’m one big block of stupidity. Does that satisfy you?”
“No!” She nearly screamed, “why did you do it!? Why would you kill yourself for me?”
“Because I love you, Katara!”
Silence.
She looked at Zuko’s face and her eyebrows finally relaxed.
They kept their positions, staring at each other for what seemed like hours.
Then, under her breath, Katara mumbled something incomprehensible.
“What?” Zuko softly spoke.
“I said that you’re so horribly stupid,” she nearly cried as she ran up to him and pressed her lips against his.
Zuko’s eye widened in surprise at her gesture, then he closed them, leaning into her touch.
When she finally pulled away, she staggered back.
“Spirits, I’m so sorry— I don’t know what I was thinking.”
Zuko felt himself cut her off as he laughed at her outburst.
“What are you doing,” she asked, crossing her arms.
“Yeah,” he sighed, “I’m stupid,” he swallowed the lump in his throat as he continued, “I must be the dumbest person in the world.”
Katara smiled as she walked back towards him.
“Me too,” she chuckled as he lightly grabbed her head and pulled her into another kiss.

“Ever wonder if the world would be better off without you… ?” for zukka?
For this prompt game!
“Ever wonder if the world would be better off without you?”
Sokka freezes in the sitting room door, heart beating hard and alarm tightening his throat so fast that it takes him a moment to register Zuko’s pensive, almost abstract tone, the loose set of his shoulders, the easy-burning fire in the fireplace.
“It’s not something I dwell on,” he says after a long moment, forcing himself to finish stepping into the room, feigning casualness as he sets down the latest Republic City expansion plans and trying not to overreact but Agni's flapping tits what the fuck—
“Hm,” Zuko hums, like he isn’t making Sokka’s heart stop with terror, “I’ve been thinking about it.”
Sokka makes himself breathe, weighing the words against Zuko’s general calm and thoughtful expression as he gazes through the half-drawn curtain out the window. He’s too at ease to be truly upset, none of his usual tells in the tension of his shoulders or deliberate stillness of his hands, and there’s no pinched tightness to his brow like there is when it’s something with Izumi, which means… “What did you do?”
Zuko purses his lips. “Remember how I rescued that turtle duck?”
Sokka raises his eyebrow. “That whole family of turtle ducks?”
“And how I kept feeding that wild one?”
“I’m not sure I’d call one living in a fountain wild, but sure.”
“And how, generally speaking, not all our turtle duck hatchlings stay in the pond once they’re big enough to fly?”
“…General speaking,” Sokka repeats, feeling a flutter of premonition the same way he used to whenever Izumi and Bumi both turned wide-eyed innocent looks on him back when they were young.
“And that time I found those two injured snapping turtle swans and nursed them back to health?”
“…What did you do,” Sokka asks again, resigned, and Zuko just hums and pulls back the edge of the curtain a bit further for Sokka to come over and see…
“I’ve never seen so many turtle ducks in my life,” Sokka finally says.
“Yup.”
“They can’t all fit in the pond.” Not even if they had two ponds, Spirits…
“Nope.”
Sokka cuts Zuko a sideways look. “…Where are they staying?”
“Where have they been staying,” Zuko corrects, and Sokka takes a long moment to process the fact that this has been…going on for a bit, then, and that probably explains all the pastries disappearing from the breakfast table, like Zuko is some kid secreting away snacks and not the Fire Lord for going on forty years, Spirits. What an idiot. Sokka loves him so much.
“Where have they been staying?” he repeats, obedient.
“Azula’s room,” Zuko says serenely just as a high-pitched, startled shriek sounds out, along with a ruckus of quaking and honking and—
“ZUZU! I’m going to fucking kill y—ow, what the fu—”
Sokka makes a thoughtful noise as Zuko lets the curtain drop back down. “So you asking about whether the world would be better without you," he finally says, resettling his armband, "Was more about your impending demise?”
“Yeah, pretty much,” Zuko agrees.
Sokka hums. "It was nice knowing you."
"The best," Zuko nods. “Let’s hide,” he adds, grabbing onto Sokka’s wrist and already hauling him along behind him like they’re teenagers again, Sokka letting out a startled laugh to suddenly be finding himself in motion.
He glances back to the window and the growing cacophony outside, to the Republic City plans, to the stack of correspondence he really needs to get through and the pile of new airship designs he really wanted to work on. Then he turns back forward to catch the flashing edge of Zuko’s teasing, wicked smile and finds he can't do anything but grin helplessly back, find that he's perfectly happy like he always is to pretend to be young again, instead, and let Zuko drag him away again on another adventure.

imaginary war AU
The posts about the ATLA kids having various mental illnesses and developing a real-life roleplay of the 100-year war doesn't wanna leave my head, so have some headcanons =] (this is gonna be long so buckle up)
Azula
-16 yo
- (paranoid) schizophrenia/schizoaffective, childhood abuse (cPTDS)
- a machievillian
- hallucinates 90% of the time, she's always in her own world
- when not, she's a very quiet, closed off person
- admitted at 11 after suddenly snapping at her mother leaving
- firmly believes the anti-pshycotics/any pill they give her is the same poison her mother 'gave to their grandfather'
- Azulon died a natural death without Ursa's intervention
- Has a god complex
- fully believes she's 'Agni' at times (a deity from her imaginary world)
- every time the sun shines on her or it's sunny outside, she makes sure everyone knows her 'bending' is completely pure (meaning she attacks everyone close enough)
- she has martial art knowledge and uses it against the nurses
- Ty Lee and Mai are the only people she feels like she can trust (her mental state will collapse even further when Ty Lee and Mai leave)
- has no hope of getting better
- 24/7 supervision
- Zuko is both her ancor to reality and the reason for her hallucinations
Zuko:
-18 yo
- cPTSD, HORRIBLE anger issues (intermittent explosive disorder/disruptive mood dysregulation disorder)
- Goes into blind rage often
- random hallucinations and delusions
- knows Azula is struggling but oftentimes cannot make himself care enough to help her or just talk to her normally
- Azula's hallucinations hurt him, so he gets aggressive and very snide (that makes Azula's hallucinations worse, and his 'charater' in her world be her enemy)
- cares for people, but holds grudges for forever
- Iroh helps him regulate his anger when he visits
- getting better slowly
Ty Lee:
-15yo
- synesthesia, hyperactive ADHD, depression
- doesn't know that Azula's imaginary world is a product of her illnesses
- plays along because she thinks that everyone is just bored and has a game going on to fill in the time
- Talks a lot
- a child of abusive domestic labor
- she both ran away from home and tried to commit suicide to escape her parents
- is getting better and will get released soon (every nurses dreaded day)
Mai:
-17yo
- Alexithymia, social apathy
- she either refused to comply with her parents for whatever reason so they sent her here or she put Tom-Tom in danger
- does no give a FUCK about what the nurses say (she's either very uncooperative or does the exact opposite of what was asked of her)
- feels wronged all the time
- prods at Zuko because he's 'free entertainment' when he gets angry
- when bored out of her mind, she listens to Azula's blabbering or pisses off Zuko
- plays along when alone with Ty Lee and Azula
- no signs of getting any better, but the nurses have no reason to keep her in the asylum except her parents paying to keep her there
*Quick background break about the monks before I talk about Aang!*
- the Avatar is a diety they believe in, kind of like how Shaolin monks believe in Buddhism
- it's a very gated community
- only family members or very few handpicked people can join the monastery
- it's basically Shaolin monks but less hardcore on discipline and performance
*Anyway back to the charaters*
Aang:
-14yo
- god/savior complex, religious psychosis
- believes he's the Avatar and will bring peace and balance to the world
- for some reason, Ozai is his nemesis (he's seen him maybe twice when Ozai visited Azula)
- gets very aggressive and irritated when Ozai is mentioned or if he sees him
-keeps most of his routine from before his admittion (meditating, exercising, praying...)
- always freaks out so hard when his hair starts to grow back that he has to be immidiately shaven (if not, he gets either aggressive or paranoid)
- wishes to cure others with his 'Avatar powers'
- no chance of release, but he is usually allowed to roam freely without supervision
Toph:
-13yo
- anxiety, childhood abuse victim
- got in trouble with the authorities and got sent to the asylum after trying to harm security at the juvenile prison she was in
- both sad and happy she's away from her home
- rebels all the time
- youngest person in the asylum
- Is vary of Azula ever since Azula tried to attack her
- sometimes plays along the 'war' (usually on the opposing team as Azula) just to have an excuse to talk shit to Azula straight to her face
- was incredibly sheltered (like in canon), but her parents ignored her even more
- has an avoidant attachment style
- bounds of extreme coldness or rudeness against people she considers friends
- probably will get released, but she attacks nurses/gets worse whenever her release date gets close
Katara:
-19yo
- I don't think she would have any illnesses that would land her in the asylum
- I think she'd be a med student/nurse
- cares for the girls
- has a way of getting Azula to take her meds, Ty Lee to settle down...
- very calm and friendly but pretty easily irritable (Mai annoys her all the time)
- got attacked by Zuko so bad she had to take a month long break
- Azula is the reason she's in therapy (both because of how Azula's deteriorated mental state makes her pity Azula and because Azula verbally berates her all the time)
Sokka:
-21yo
- a nurse
- takes care of the guys
- only one strong enough to hold Zuko down when he has one of his fits
- Zuko's #1 caretaker
- a beloved nurse even though everyone swears he gets on their nerves
- Him and Toph are best buds
- was the first one to see Azula out of her hallucinations as she was roaming the asylum (he still wonders how the confident and prideful Azula is the same person as the hollow and quiet girl he found that day)
I dont have any specific headcanons for Suki and Yue so tell me yours if you have any
Might do a part 2 about my hc about how the 'war' works

I don't want to write so as not to ruin this beauty.

Three ideas for a ATLA & TLOK comic or graphic novel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. Aang along with Yee-Li, Jingbo, and Xing Ling, rebuilding the air nation and their traditions, while also recruiting people to rebuild the air nation culture and eventually become the new monks and nuns of the new generation of the air nation. While repairing the the four original air temples, and recruiting new air acolytes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Teo comes with Aang on his mission, along with his girlfriend (a certain girl who he met at the circus, is an expert at playing the flute. Whom looks like Ty Lee) decides to become an air acolyte and help rebuild the air nation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Satoru asks Toph to a restaurant, Katara tells her that it'll be her first date. Unsure on what to do, especially with all this romance cheesy stuff. Katara, Suki, Ty Lee, and Mai help Toph with her first date with Satoru tomorrow. It's a girls day out!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They take Toph to the mall for different types of dresses for Toph to wear, and stop by the hair salon to make Toph's hair pretty for her date, and eventually stop by to Iroh's tea restaurant, to try some of his boba tea.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. We see Azula's point of view after Katara defeated her in her Agni Kai battle with Zuko. She was still crying and screaming as she was restrained by the guards. The Gaang believes it's probably for the best for her to be locked in a cell also, but Aang and Iroh can tell that she's suffering mentally and emotionally. They suggest its for the best she gets sent to an asylum.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While in the asylum, Azula is still hallucinating her mother, which scares the patients, nurses, and the doctors. During breakfast, lunch, and dinner time in the cafeteria Azula got a few chances to meet the other patients around her age. She learns that most of them aren't mentally unstable like her, they were just sent there as punishment.
THAT'S ALL I CAN THINK OF, PLEASE ❤, COMMENT, AND REBLOG IF THESE SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEAS FOR A COMIC OR GRAPHIC NOVEL.

Eris grew up a hard life, it was common for any faerie inside of the Autumn Court, but when many did not know was how he felt about his siblings.
OR
Snippets of the birthing of Eris’ siblings and how he slowly got drained by each one… but then envious.

Eris remembered when his mother told him late at night that she was with child, Eris at the time was only seven, but he lived in the Autumn Court—he knew what that meant; Beron had touched her. Yet, despite the sudden rage that filled him, he couldn't help but to feel excited at the same time. He was going to have a sibling, someone that he could possibly relate to, someone he could have a bond with, someone there, for him, a friend for Eris.
He was around eight when Agni was first born, his hair was only slightly oranger than his own, beautiful, yellow-amber eyes, and freckles littered across his entire body. It was if he was a little clone of Eris; he grins at the sight of the small newborn.
"You may hold him now." One of Eris' aunts say before offering the swaddled child to him.
Carefully, the young boy maneuvered the infant into his arms, admiring the child before his mother called for him. Eris looks confused at first, not used to the attention from his parent. He walks over, baby in hands before she swoops him out of his hold.
"Thank you, Eris." She whispers before pulling down her top when Agni begins to wail, hungry. "You'll be a great older brother." The Lady Autumn says before allowing her newborn to suckle upon her breast.
Eris only nods in reply, walking out of the room on his father's summon.
By age nine he was getting betrothed to a woman he didn't know, all he knew was that she had blonde hair, a strong body, and that she was from the Night Court, but Eris could care less; He had no interest in women.
At this age, Eris was more focused on his mother's third pregnancy, eager to find out the sex of his new sibling. Agni was growing up fine, clinging to his leg whenever he was able to—out of the eyesight of their father, of course—but he was excited for more siblings, he had always wanted them.
So, when Azar was born, he was in the delivery room again, impatiently waiting for his new brother; which he found out the gender of just the day before.
His hand gently grasps his mother's, making sure that she knows he is there for her as she pushes. However, the second that Azar is born, The Lady Autumn instructs that Eris is to take care of him until he is hungry.
The look on Eris' face was priceless, he was over the moon. After the midwives had cleaned up Azar, he takes the small boy into his arms and leaves the medical area; taking him to his room where Agni already was with a nanny.
Upon walking inside, Agni looks over intrigued by the new life form. He crawls over and Eris plops himself down onto the maroon carpet—making sure Azar's neck was supported at all costs—before speaking.
"This is Azar, Agni." Eris says calmly, a small smile upon his lips. "He is our brother."
Agni babbles something incoherent that only makes Eris laugh, "Yes, brother," He then speaks more slowly, as if sounding it out for Agni, "brother."
The fourth time that Eris' mother got pregnant, he was the only person in the room other than a singular midwife; his aunts long gone by now.
"You can do it," The delivery nurse encourages, though Serafina makes no reaction other than a few expressions of pain. "Push!"
Eris' third brother comes out blue, the umbilical cord wrapped around his throat. Quickly, the midwife strikes to action, cutting the cord strategically and swiftly; saving his new siblings life.
The heir looked at his mother in the moment though, she seemed unfazed by the sight of her child almost dying in birth, as if it meant nothing to her.
The Lady Autumn makes the same instructions as the last birth, giving the baby to Eris until he is summoned by Beron for his courtly duties.
Eris looks shocked, his mother didn't even name the new child, "What of his name, Lady?"
"You may choose, Eris, I have no desire to." She replies weakly.
The midwife looks to Eris, waiting for a name off the top of his head.
"Cole." He replies, it had some sort of resemblance to Autumn, what better would fire burn over?
The nurse replies with a nod, writing it down on a piece of paper—the birth certificate—before attending to The Lady Autumn.
Eris leaves with a foul taste in his mouth, clutching the swaddled baby in his arms tighter as he heads back to the usual room he is in with his two, now three, other siblings.
When his mother tells Eris that she is again with child, he is now the unfazed one. He only nods, by the time Cole was one, he was tired of dealing with children. But, he can't deny that he feels some sort of sympathy for his mother; He can't imagine the type of annoyance she feels being nothing more than a tool for heirs.
But, he puts on a mask as he usually does, forcing a smile and nodding, "Yes, of course, Lady." Eris replies, he was now eleven.
When Mavros was born, it was routine. Though, the added feature of naming him made it a bit more challenging, but only by a small amount. Eris faced much harder things in his life.
What he thought would be the last of his siblings was finally here at age twelve. This time, he doesn't enter the delivery room until the birthing process was done; he struts in when he hears the wailing—having known the baby was just fed he suspected the young boy was tired; so, he takes the baby in a swift moment.
"Egan." Eris says before leaving, the midwife already writing down the name by the time the door was shut behind him.
Four years pass before his mother pulls him aside, Eris was now sixteen, preparing to rule over the war master duties of his court, becoming General.
"Yes, Lady?" Eris asks.
"I am pregnant, Eris." She says bluntly.
"What is the issue?" He cocks up an orange brow, amber eyes narrowing curiously.
She looks hesitant, "It is not his, child." She says quickly and quietly.
Eris' face remains stoic, but his insides were screaming in confusion; who could it be then? He would find out soon enough. "Alright." He finally replies after a brief silence.
"You must protect them." She says with a hint of pleading in her tone. "I know it will be male, there was a study that the more you have of one sex the more you will produce, but that is not my point." The Lady Autumn takes a deep breath before continuing. "There will be no worries about the female aspect, but you must keep him safe... glamour him."
Eris looks stunned by his mother's request, but nods nonetheless, "As you wish, Lady."
She nods before disappearing for another eight months.
By the time of his last siblings birthday, Eris was groaning. He could always pawn it off on Agni, but he was terrible with children other than Azar.
But, when Eris walked into the delivery room, the baby was being coddled in his mother's arms, she was snuggling against the newborn with nothing short of affection.
He remains shocked, shutting the door behind him quietly before walking over, however when he reaches his arms out his mother slaps his hands away protectively.
"I will take care of him..." She grins a the beautiful, tan, glowing baby. "His name is Lucien." The Lady Autumn informs the midwife. "This," She moves Lucien a bit so that Eris can see him. "Is your new brother, Eris." She looks overly excited, clinging to the newborn.
"I see." He replies, his voice softly and quiet. "You have it covered?"
"Yes." Serafina replies instantly. "I've got him." She presses a delicate, gentle kiss to his temple.
And that small gesture was Eris' snapping point, he leaves the room instantly. The second the door to the nursing room is shut, tears begin to fill his waterline, daring the heir to break.
He had never cried, no matter what he had done, even in birth, his mother and the midwives told him that he was an easy birth.
But, seeing his mother be so affection to a baby after forcing Eris to watch her others, it made him hurt.
He quickly returns to his bedroom, wiping whatever tears were threatening to fall with a nearby napkin. It then began to dawn on the Autumn Fae, the real reason Eris was never embraced like that, the reason that none of his siblings were loved that way
They would never been Helion's son.

(to add into the runaway firefam au)
when he offers himself to take care of azula in his aunts stead, lu ten doesnt just whisk baby azula away to irohs side of the palace until ursa is well enough to bare leaving her bed.
he still needs azula to recognize as her mother, so whenever ursa is well enough, lu ten will send a lady to ask if ursa could breastfeed her. if not, he can get a wet nurse, but he always has to ask. hes not sure if whoever breastfeeds azula will have any effects on her in the future, but it cant hurt to do it anyway. if he just takes the child off her hands once the deed is done, usually.
on top of that, the nanny that ursa entrusts with zuko will take him to go see her multiple times a day, and in a few of those, lu ten will go along with baby azula.
it gets complicated when lu ten realizes that every ounce of life melts off ursas face when azula comes nearby. his aunts face is still, dull, and almost confused. like she just woke up and theres suddenly a child squirming in her lap. its not any help that zuko is a typically quiet and focused little boy that doesnt mind sitting in one place and fumbling with the same toy for hours. so he couldnt be bothered long as his mother is simply in his sights, but azula is the same as any other baby that likes to be played with. lu ten has her used to being carefully swung around and bounced in his lap, his hand patting her rear as he rocks her back and forth, pretending to nibble on her little hands whenever she puts them on his face. parroting her babbling noises back to her and cooing to her.
azula gets confused and starts to cry when she realizes ursa isnt reacting to her the way lu ten does. and when that happens, he always panics and whisks her back to his rooms awkwardly.
aunt ursa will get better, he tells himself. azula is calm now, laying in his lap, fumbling with a paper weight she grabbed off his nightstand with great interest. she is strong, and she has me to make her stronger.
the younger aunt ursa that married into his family and was still fresh from her old life, that still did things like leapt and danced and hooted in her reenactments of theatre plays, that still did things like played the floor is lava with him, that still did things like howl with laughter, has long since dried up ( there’s nothing he can do to recover that for her own children to enjoy. why did he get that privilege when ursa isn’t even his mom? he’ll spend his whole life busting his ass for strength that will never amount to being able to catch lost time with his bare hands.).
he feels like hes gonna miss this when its gone, but hes already accepted that this will be a secret that he takes to the grave. this isnt a favor lu ten wants to be paid back for. this isnt something he wants to throw in his aunts face whenever they have a disagreement in the future. this isnt just for aunt ursa, even- this is also for azula. for the future love she and ursa will definitely share. and for himself, who will never fully comprehend what the love of a mom feels like, the privilege and blessing of it, because the women that raised him were an endless moving cycle of palace servants that came and went.
its not forever. it could be tomorrow that he finds her in the gardens without a stumble in her step. maybe not good as new, but no longer in so much pain. for all agni knows, it could be this very evening. for once, his fathers proverbs ease him- for every journey, there is a destination.
future lu ten is watching a toddler azula run to aunt ursa, who has a healthy flush in the face. he just has to grit his teeth and keep it pushing until he gets there.

The night the prince is born, all the candles in the palace go out.
It is the dead of winter, a new moon. A bad sign for a fire bender, worse for a royal.
An omen, servants whisper, a sign.
Elaborate halls of fine and flammable tapestries echo with the cries of a princess, tended to and soothed by the nation's best physicians. Servants carry buckets of water and fresh linens into the bedchamber where the princess lies, taking blood-stained cloth out with them.
Outside of the fray, a prince paces back and forth. To an outsider's view he could look like a new father worried for his wife and firstborn. He is not, instead anxious about what his father may think of the omens surrounding the baby's birth. His concern is nothing new. Princes have been weary of their father's reactions for generations, Ozai is not the first nor will he be the last.
His brother's son was born in the heat of summer, like his father before him. It is another thing Iroh has beaten Ozai at, and Ozai loathes his brother all the more for it.
A mighty general and a boy who will never be called such are in the elder's office, enjoying a cup of jasmine tea.
The younger prince squirms in his seat. He doesn't quite understand why he’s barred from seeing his aunt and has asked for the fourth- fifth time when the baby will be here. His father chuckles, eyes crinkling as he tells him to be patient.
Lu Ten has never concerned himself with his father's reaction, as his father hadn't before him. Perhaps it comes with being born in the sun.
In his chambers, a once prince, once general, now firelord sits at his desk and goes through the same reports from his war council as he has done every night since the start of his reign. He sighs, rubbing his temple, and takes a moment to examine his own thoughts.
His daughter-in-law’s labor has lasted since the early hours of the morning, hardly ever a good sign. Iroh’s late wife had died during Lu Ten’s birth and Iroh refused to remarry. Should Ursa pass on as well, or be otherwise unable to bear children, the union of Roku and Sozin’s bloodlines would end before it even had a chance to begin.
That aside, the conditions surrounding his grandchild’s birth are hardly auspicious. Azulon is not a superstitious man, but to be born at a time so far from Agni’s light is enough to make any hopeful relative uneasy.
The candles on Azulon’s desk flicker, and the shadows shift to accommodate. Light-dark-light shifts over the page Azulon has in front of him, a report of crop failure in one of the outer islands of the archipelago. The old man sighs again, and puts it to the side.
Bad omens indeed.
With a final cry, the palace falls into silence for the first time that day. The light disappears shortly after.
Back in the princess's chambers, attendants scramble to relight the candles, and nurses exchange looks in the dark. The baby has not cried. The princess does not notice, she is looking at the newborn that has just gotten passed to a nurse to be cleaned.
The baby is small, as a baby should be, and silent, as a baby shouldn't.
When the nursemaid hands the infant to his mother's waiting arms, wide eyes paler than Ursa's look back at her.
They hold no Spark.
Perhaps the light of the prince was robbed along with the palace’s.
Ursa knows what this means, the servants do too. A nursemaid who has worked at the palace since before Fire Lord Azulon's hair turned gray remembers a girl with a similar muted stare disappearing before her second birthday.
Neither Iroh nor Ozai know of their older sister. Non-bending children are not added to the Agni-Blessed family tree.
The boy still hasn't cried.
The servants hurry out of the room when the High Sage, the Fire Lord, and the second – the overlooked, the lesser – prince come through the door.
The occupants of the room bow. Ursa bends over her newborn, her respectful posture a shield to her as much as it is to her son. The child. She should call him the child. It will be easier, knowing what comes next.
"My Lady", the Sage, the woman who blessed Lu Ten, and Ozai, and Iroh, steps towards the princess and holds out her arms.
Slowly, numbly, Ursa hands the child over.
She feels like his executioner. She holds this title before Mother.
High Sage Zanli holds the boy, and the boy stares back with pale-too-pale eyes. She sees the same thing Ursa had, and her expression turns grim. Ozai and Azulon look on, equally impassive.
Zanli searches for some sign—not frantically, she doesn't have enough hope to be frantic—of fire in the boy.
His eyes do not look away from the Sage's.
Finally, "The boy is not a firebender." The Sage says, when she couldn't find what wasn't there.
Ozai looks down, in fury, in shame. Azulon glances at his son, before turning back to Zanli, expression pinched.
“We will send the boy back to Agni at first light.”
Ursa crumples despite her best efforts.
High Sage Zanli hands the boy, the nonbender, back to the princess who’s too soft for palace life, and nods with something like sympathy in her eyes.
The three leave the room, leaving Ursa and a boy who wouldn't be remembered as prince behind.
Ursa sits there for a long time, staring at the child in her arms who will soon be ash on the wind. She turns to the window and stares out at the dark night.
Ursa does not want her son to die.
The princess cradles her son to her chest and whispers prayers to any power that might listen.
Ursa comes from the outskirts of the outskirts of the archipelago, colonies of colonies won in Sozin’s reign. Agni is not the only Spirit they worship there. The people there remember the shadows cast in wake of Her fire, they remember that light cannot exist without its opposite.
Somewhere in the deep and dark, the muddled and murky, things often overlooked in the face of Agni's glory are called to attention.
Few remember that the Shadows are just as much children of Agni as the dragons, but it is no surprise, really. Man often overlooks that which does not serve him. This suits the Shadows just fine, They prefer quieter spaces, and They are meant to follow anyway.
Ursa does not notice the shadows stretching higher behind the candles in the room. Her newborn stares at their dancing—And that's what they're doing isn't it? Dancing.—shapes on the walls.
The hall outside grows…dimmer? The guards cannot explain the way the light seems to wane the closer one goes toward Princess Ursa's chamber. They cannot explain how all the shadows seem to point to the wide doors.
After hours of Ursa standing vigil, Agni pokes Her head from beyond the horizon.
Light creeps across the floor and across the bed and over the boy in his mother's arms. He starts to whimper, then whine, then wail for the first time since his birth.
Whispers of folktales speak of how Shadows cannot take form without Agni's help.
His eyes, when they open again, are deeper now. Darker, richer. Gold with a touch of something more.
The candles flicker, then grow.
Ursa does not notice how the shadows cast in the wake of the candles grow just as much.
It's no longer night, and the Shadows need more help to stretch, to see.
When a fire sage enters the room to collect the child, he finds a cooing baby reaching towards the brightest light in the room and a mother smiling down at her son.
"It seems Agni has blessed him after all," she says, keeping her eyes fixed on the baby, "She just wanted to meet him first."
The sage, younger than Zanli and less experienced, stammers before promising to find the High Sage to bless the boy. Had he been more jaded, more realistic, he would know that "Agni just had to see them first" is not often accepted as a reason why a child does not have a Spark from the beginning.
At noon, when Agni is at her highest point—when the shadows have receded to their smallest—Prince Zuko is held before a cheering crowd and blessed as a son of Agni. His eyes glint with something High Sage Zanli knows is not a Spark, not a true one.
She stays quiet. She is world-worn, yes, but if she could save a child she would do so.
"How fortunate that he turned out to be a bender. Agni shines upon us" The Fire Lord says to his second son.
"Yes. Fortunate,” Ozai responds, more detached than he would be if the boy had just come out right in the first place.
He will try again, he vows, and next time he won't be stuck with a sorry excuse of a bender.
Prince Zuko does not look away from the dancing ink at the crowd's feet, silent once more.

avatar au where no one stayed to see zuko’s scar after the agni kai so as he sets off w iroh to find the avatar, his twin stays in the palace in his place
“But, father, that’s Zuko. That’s your son. You can’t just—“ your words are cut off with a shriek as your thrown next to your brother. Without flinching, Ozai lifts his fist and shoots fire between the both of you, not waiting to see who it hit. Turning and leaving the room, you could only pant as your twin cried beside you.
“Zu?” Shakily, you sat yourself up so you could assess yourself and your brother. “Zuko, what’s— oh, spirits.”
An angry, red scar was starting to form over Zuko’s left eye. His mouth was wide open as pained, agonizing cries left his lips. Blood trailed down his wrist as he held a hand over his eye, and you swore you could hear his skin bubbling. Gulping back your disgust at the sight, trembling hands cupped his wrists. “What can I do? What do I do, Zuko?”

Day 2: Visiting a hospital
After a lot of infighting and straight up civil war drama rivalling the Mahabharata, our new group rose like a phoenix out of the ashes and we changed our space to Sri Krishna AYUSH. Ayurvedic Hospital. We visited the facility. It was the only medical college in Kurukshetra.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Context of the place
Shri Krishna AYUSH University, established by the Haryana Government under Act No. 25 of 2017, began its operations in the academic year 2018-19. Headquartered in Sector 8, Kurukshetra, Haryana, it is the first university of its kind in the world to offer all AYUSH courses. This university plays a pivotal role in the affiliation and regulation of Ayurveda courses across government and private colleges in Haryana.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tour of the Hospital
We walked in through the emergency block and tried to soak everything in and get a feel for the place and later found out about the main entrance. There, we spoke to the medical superintendant, Dr. Rajender Singh who introduced us to Dr. Priya, an intern who is doing PG. She gave us a tour of the place, meticulously explaining everything in great detail.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dr. Priya started with the OPDs and explained what the purpose of each ward was. She guided us through the entire hospital starting with the lobby where patients are instructed to get a slip with their name, age and sex.
They get assigned to specific departments based on your ailment represented by a number of the slip. Later, she walked us through all the outpatient departments on the ground floor and the accompanying waiting areas. A general sense of uncleanness was observed with the washrooms and water coolers.
The following departments and wards were seen-
GROUND FLOOR 1. Reception 2. Dispensery 3. Medical Superintendent office 4. Emergency Ward 5. OT Block 6. Swasthy raksha (yoga room) 7. Stri rog OPD (gynaecology) 8. Shalya tantra OPD (stomach) 9. Shalakya OPD (eyes) 10. Shalakya OPD sub unit (nose and throat) 11. Balrog OPD (paediatrics) 12. Kriya karg OPD (child treatment) 13. Kriya OPD (physiology) 14. Kayachikitsa OPD (general medicine) 15. Dravyagun (drug testing) 16. Rasa shastra 17. Agni karma 18. Rakt Moksh
FIRST FLOOR 1. Medical record room 2. Narcotics treatment room 3. Kayachikitsa female ward 4. Deputy MS office 5. Matron office 7. Clinical Lab 8. Nurse Staff duty room 9. Panchkarma reception 10. Panchkarma OPD
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Panchkarma
We then proceeded to go one floor upwards where the inpatient wards were located. Separate wards existed for male and female. The wards were mostly not occupied with a lot of empty beds. However, there was a long line which extended far beyond the waiting area outside the Panchkarma OPD. There were two people stationed on a bench managing the people and clearing any doubts they had.
Dr. Priya explained what Panchkarma was. It means to detox. It is an Ayurvedic treatment that helps cleanse and heal the body. It involves five main methods:
Vamana (Therapeutic Vomiting): Removes toxins from the stomach.
Virechana (Purgation): Cleanses the intestines using herbal laxatives.
Basti (Enema Therapy): Uses medicated oils or herbal decoctions to cleanse the colon.
Nasya (Nasal Administration): Clears the head and sinuses by applying herbal oils through the nose.
Raktamokshana (Bloodletting): Purifies the blood, traditionally done by controlled blood removal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Clinical Lab
Later, we proceeded towards the pathology lab. There was a general lack of organisation. Urine samples were placed on the table out in the open. We were introduced to advanced machinery like the centrifuge. Syringes and other meds were stored in the refrigerator.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
OT Block
Then we went to the Operation Theatre Block. This part, the Major OT was still under construction with exposed concrete walls, but the minor OT was functional with surgeries being conducted. Dr. Priya showed us the various instruments. There was a labor room which was not occupied.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Agnikarma
Finally, we were in the agnikarma department where Dr. Priya introduced us to various instruments to treat joint pain without the need for painkillers. The shalaka was one such tool. The pointed end is heated and then briefly touched to the skin to treat various ailments like joint pain, musculoskeletal issues, and certain skin conditions. Aloe vera and turmeric were common treatment methods. Bowls were placed for cupping therapy. To our astonishment, Dr. Priya picked up a container from the shelves and showed us leeches inside. The saliva of leeches contain anticoagulants. While feeding on the blood, these substances are released into the bloodstream thereby helping in improving blood flow and reducing symptoms of varicose veins.
Tumblr media
Exploring more
After the tour was over, we decided to split up and observe different areas all over the hospital. We made a list of all the equipments, items, and other stuff kept inside every ward. Then we started observing the people around us.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since we had enough information about the structure of the hospital, and we were tired and hungry, we decided to leave and come back tomorrow to uncover more. bye.

What exactly is the big plot twist in black butler? Would you mind telling? Wikipedia only has a very short summary that seems out of date?
I'll try and make it quick but its uh messy. Im fact checking dates but as an FYI this is based on my knowledge and memory. Spoilers under the cut.
For simplicity's sake, the big spoiler of Kuro is that the main character we've followed the entire manga wasn't Ciel Phantomhive. That the Real Ciel had an unnamed sickly twin (Our Ciel) who assumed his identity when he made a contract with Sebastian upon Ciel's death from the cult.
For the longer explanation let's wind back the clock a bit to 2014-2015. The Green Witch arc is finishing and the Music Hall arc is starting up. There had been whispers of a theory before the Green Witch arc but that arc really cemented the idea of the Two Ciel Theory (2CT). Prior to the GW arc, I'd heard of the idea but hadn't put much thought into it. This is now Laughably hilarious in hindsight because do you know what was also airing in 2015? Gravity Falls.
The 2CT was floating around at the same time as the Stan Twin theory was gaining traction. I believed in neither (RIP me being team Gruncle for Grandpa). So even after Not What He Seems aired and confirmed the Stan Twins Theory to which me and tumblr lost our goddamn frigging minds, I still did not believe in 2CT.
Eventually as the Music Hall arc continued the clues piled up even as I stubbornly insisted otherwise. I was, as everyone was, devastated by the death of Agni but an unnamed third party. I finally at that point accepted the truth. I still remember the exact panel that finally convinced me
Tumblr media
I didn't get the context until later (Real Ciel swallowed the blue Phantomhive ring which Our Ciel cut out of him after being rescued by Sebastian, nasty) but this whole chapter convinced me and sure enough like a chapter later we get this.
Tumblr media
So this was revealed in 2015. THIS ARC IS STILL TECHNICALLY GOING ON. In that time I finished college took a gap year did two years of nursing school and now four years of nursing. We still don't know how or why Real Ciel was revived (Undertaker for sure but to what extent), Our Ciel and his servants are still on the run and we've had some interesting but Incredibly Too Long flashbacks on the origins of the servants.
I love Kuro as a tragic, mystery manga but please Yana, pleaseeeee can you move things along a little faster? I'll be in an old age home before we find out Our Ciel's proper name.

Ahem... Angst me mommy! I remember because last I sent a request of angst you said we were supposed to say that. Anyways can you do modern scenario Agni x reader with absolutely soul crushing? So basically I want the reader to get hit by car literally and be in the hospital when Agni arrives there BUT I want it to have fluffy ending. I got hit by a car once I always laugh about it but people say I'm morbid XDDD
looool you don't HAVE to say that haha!! it's just a joke ;)
... but thank you tho! I'm sorry you had to go through that, dang :c I'm glad dark humor could help you tho, sometimes it helps! and I really hope you're doing ok nowadays <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You really should have seen the car coming, shouldn’t you?
Except, well, you were doing everything you were supposed to be doing. It was the driver who wasn’t following all the rules, so you think perhaps the universe (and your boyfriend) can forgive you for getting hit by a fucking car. You hope so, anyway.
You’re on a few painkillers right now, so you blame that for the fact that the incredibly stupid pun of, Surely an accident isn’t bad car-ma, is it?? floats through your mind. Ugh, you’ll have to cringe at yourself later.
The good part is that the painkillers, whatever sort of cocktail they have you on, are doing their job ― you’re not feeling much pain. Thank God. You’re just sore of vaguely aware that your body feels like a single huge bruise, and you’re tired.
As soon as AGNI comes into the room, your brain is trying to snap to attention. There he is, there’s the person you love. He looks so… concerned? You’ll have to apologize to him as soon as you can form a coherent sentence.
“Aah, jaan, what happened?” he murmurs, coming to sit next to the bed. Almost immediately his hand comes up to gently cup your cheek. “W… well, I know what happened… sort of… oh, my God, (Name).” He shakes his head. “How do you feel?”
“I’m okay. Kinda tired… my brain is all shaky… like I can’t… it’s fuzzy, you know?” You’re not sure how else to describe it. Still, you let your eyes close for a second as you feel so comforted by his hand on your face. Whatever else might be true at any one time, Agni makes you feel safe. As long as he’s here, everything’s going to be okay. “When will they let me go, love? I want you to take me home.”
You might be whining a little bit. You think you’re pretty justified, though. More justified than you are on most other days, at least.
He shakes his head. “They want to keep you overnight, just to make sure there aren’t any problems they’ve missed. You’re very lucky, do you know that? This could have been a lot worse. I’m so glad you’re okay.”
“I’m sorry I worried you.” You reach up to slip your hand over his, taking a breath. You’re pretty sure you have a broken rib or two… it kind of hurts to breathe. The painkillers can’t fix everything, you suppose. “You’re still going to take me home, aren’t you?”
A soft laugh meets your ears, and he presses a light kiss against your forehead. “What are you talking about? Of course I will. As soon as the doctors tell me I’m allowed to take you home, we’ll go home.”
You nod, giving the conversation an air of finality. (… At least, in your mind.) “Okay, good. I can’t wait to go home. Will you stay with me tonight, though?”
“Where else would I go?” You can hear the smile in his voice even while you recline back to try and rest. “I’ll text Soma that I won’t be home tonight. Although… he’ll probably come right over when I tell him what’s going on. Is that okay?”
“Mhm. That’s fine. Tell him not to flirt with all the nurses; they might take away my pain medicine if he’s too annoying.”
Agni laughs again. “They wouldn’t. But I’ll tell him to keep that to a minimum. Do your best to relax for now, alright, jaan?” Before he moves to take his phone out, he runs a hand through your hair. “Don’t worry. Once we get you home, I’ll take good care of you.”
