It's time to update the science books.

The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has confirmed the discovery of 128 new moons orbiting Saturn, catapulting its total to a staggering 274 — more than all the other planets combined.

In recent years, Jupiter and Saturn seem to be competing who will be the "moon king" as astronomers detect more moons orbiting the said gas giants.

But this March 2025, Saturn had a landslide victory with 274 moons, leaving Jupiter at far second place with 95.

The groundbreaking discovery was made by astronomers from the University of British Columbia and was officially recognized by the IAU this month.

Unlike regular moons, these new additions are irregular moons — small, lumpy fragments from ancient collisions, orbiting at steep angles, sometimes against Saturn’s rotation.

This finding reveals the planet’s chaotic, violent history, where larger icy bodies were shattered into smaller moons. Scientists now face the challenge of naming them all, following Gallic, Inuit, and Norse mythology conventions.

With advancing space technology and observation methods, the chances of discovering more moons — and even new dwarf planets — in our solar system are higher than ever.

The coming years promise to be filled with exciting cosmic surprises and groundbreaking revelations.

Use your 3rd house & Mercury for manifestation

Finding your own manifestation method that gives consistent results, at a consistent frequency is peak life magic for me.

My manifestation method is called "Written coloured words on calendar". I have a theory that since Mercury is associated with The Magician in Tarot, it has something to do with manifesting, especially by using verbal or written words. Mercury will help manifesting the themes of the house that it rules. While the energy of the planet that rules your 3rd house will be the tool to communicate and express your messages.

Do give it a try and tell me if it's effective for you too. If you have your own manifestation method, feel free to spread the magic.

1. What you need

Coloured pens (the colour of the ink of the pen or the lead if you are using pencils, not the colour of the case)

A calendar that has space to write on (other things like a piece of paper or notebook don't work)

Basic astrology knowledge & your chart: you should know what planet rules your 3rd house and what house does Mercury rule in your chart

2. How I do it

The colour: Choose the pen with the colour that matches the colour associated with the planet that rules your 3rd house.

The phrase: I write "I want/need change" with that coloured pen around the space of the present day on the calendar. The phrase should be short, with a broad meaning, conveys the matters related to the house that Mercury rules in your chart. Don't be too specific like I want a red dress or I want 100$, start with general terms like asking for changes, surprises, chances, opportunities, helps, guidance.

Timing: the manifestation will happen within the next week, without fail, this is how it worked for me, the speed might depend on the planet that rules your 3rd house.

Example of how it works: I have Mercury rules my 3rd house & 6th house so it can be straightforward, whenever I wrote "I want change" with green (colour of Mercury) pen on the calendar, within the next week, a new business partnership/offer & more works (3rd & 6th house matters) appeared, I met someone new who would have Gemini or Virgo or both placements in their chart, who I would do business with, work with, travel with or became my friend (3rd & 6th house matters).

*Notes:

So you won't be able to manifest other things related to different houses & planets other than 3rd house and Mercury? → Most likely, I've tried with different houses & planets but it usually had short-term effect or no observable effect, while 3rd house and Mercury gave more long-term effects.

Each manifestation works only once, if you want it to happen again, you will need to write again.

3. Colours associated with each planet & their effect

Here is the list of effects I have observed through the years practising this. It can change depending on your chart though, try to experiment with each one yourself.

Yellow - Sun: Joyful events

Grey - Moon: No observable effect

Green - Mercury: Business, friendships, partnerships (strongest manifestation power, at least for me)

Pink - Venus: Interactions, pleasant exchanges

Red - Mars, Black - Pluto: Immediate unpleasant effects like traffic problems, meeting people in bad moods, troubles with machines, things become more hectic

Navy - Saturn, Blue - Uranus, Teal - Neptune : No observable effect

Purple - Neptune/Jupiter : Increase or decrease of interactions with people, can give rise to popularity but can also slow down your progress (I haven't really figured out this one yet)

Orange - Jupiter: Chances to expand your perspective, be more brave, test your resolution and faith. Some events can be negative at first but will turn out alright, after that you will learn some valuable lessons.

This post is based on a DM I got recently, I didn't have time to explain to them as clearly as possible so I thought it would be interesting to touch on a Dorotheus of Sidon method; derived from writings in Carmen Astrologicum specifically to predict the number of children you'll have. Masterlist

This is a brief post explaining how the method is used to predict the number of children one will have.

♀Step 1:

•So to begin, look at the sign your Jupiter is in. Then look for their triplicity lords ; It’s an old concept, similar but less "impactful" compared to domicile, exaltation, exile and fall.

•This is a Hellenistic/medieval astrology method, so it's done using WHOLE SIGNS. Other than that Pluto, Chiron, Neptune & Uranus will not be taken into account for the calculations.

♀Step 2:

•Determine the triplicity lords (rulers) of said sign & it's order according to your chart (day vs night) .

For example, if your Jupiter is Aries and your natal Sun is in the 7th-12th house (day chart). Focus your triplicity ruler as Sun.

While if your natal Sun is in the 1st-6th house (night chart) focus on Jupiter.

♀ Rules:

According to Dorotheus, fire signs & earth signs are "sterile", water signs are considered fertile & air signs are.. somewhere in the middle. HOWEVER , please stick to the chart above on this matter for the sake of calculation.

If Mars or Saturn is present in any of the signs from the AC to the triplicity lord, that will signify a loss or miscarriage.

If Jupiter or Venus is present then the chance of having children is doubled. The same can be said if the sign is double bodied (Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo,Gemini). Could also mean twins. Though Virgo & Gemini are sterile signs there can be certain exceptions (like if there are two or more fertile/twin planets (Jupiter, Mercury,Venus). One isn't really enough to result in a child though.

It's not like you won't have the ability to have your own children, if your partner has quite fertile placements then you will have children, it's just that you will just face some delays or fertility issues at first.

♀Step 3:

•To determine where you start applying this concept, look at where your triplicity lords & determine which one is stronger (day vs night).

•For example, with an Aries Jupiter in a day chart Sun is more dominant than Jupiter. From there, count the number of signs from the ascendant to the dominant triplicity lord.

♀Step 4:

•Determine whether those signs are in good placement or not (refer to the sterile vs fertile chart given).

♀Timing:

The timing of this method is rather vague, but it does give an estimate. If the triplicity lords are in the ascendant or midheaven, (assuming they are fertile & benefic) then the native will have a child in their youth which is like 20s to early 30 (personally, I believe if Part of Fortune is present it will also indicate this).

On the other hand, if these lords come after the 1st house towards the 7th or even 8th house then they're likely to have a child in their middle ages (during/after late 30s).

William Lilly also has a method of predicting timing (mostly answering the question whether the individual will get pregnant/a child that year or now). Though, I'm not really going to touch on the "timing" topic in this post.

♀Examples:

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson has 3 children (that we know of). His Jupiter is Libra & he has a night chart. His triplicity lords are Mercury -Jupiter-Saturn. Mercury is stronger than Saturn so we'll count from the AC to his mercury ( following the zodiacal order) so there are 5 signs ; Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpio & Libra.

However, Capricorn is sterile & Saturn is in Sagittarius. So that leaves Scorpio, Aquarius & Libra. Three children.

Beyoncé

Beyoncé has Jupiter in Libra, and she has a day chart so her triplicity lords are Saturn- Mercury- Jupiter. Saturn is stronger than Mercury here. So we'll be counting from the ascendant to her Saturn.

There's just 1 sign; Libra because it's in the same house. However, she has Saturn, Jupiter & Venus here. Jupiter and venus are benefic planets which indicate double children or twins. (2 for each sign) however, since saturn is here one may not manifest. She lost her first child to a miscarriage (saturn influence). So, there are 3 left. She has one daughter and two twins.

Note: usually if the triplicity lord is in the ascendant, there will be no children/one child depending on the sign (especially if saturn is present) however, that also depends on the other planets occupying this house as well as the sign it's in.

Predicting my children; My Jupiter is also in Libra. I have a day chart. My Jupiter triplicity lords are Saturn-Mercury-Jupiter.

Saturn is stronger than Mercury, so I'll be counting from my ASC to Saturn. There are 7 signs; Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Scorpio, Libra, Virgo & Leo.

Capricorn, Virgo & Leo are sterile. Mars is in Scorpio. So there's Sagittarius (w venus), Aquarius, & Libra. So I'll likely have 3-4 children. With a possible miscarriage because of mars. Also since I have Saturn in my 5th house ʕ⁠´⁠•⁠ ⁠ᴥ⁠•̥⁠`⁠ʔ.

(I thought I'd have like 1-2 but I guess that's what you get for being nasty.)

Navamsa Chart:

This is one method to read D9.

Check which D9 house overlaps your D1 7th House. This is one house that you will activate in married life.

Example 1:

D1 7th H Cap (Empty house) 

D9 1st H Cap (Empty house)

Marriage will give you your identity and purpose. 

Due to Capricorn being the sign, you will become more hardworking and dutiful. You will learn to sacrifice. You will learn to become ambitious, disciplined and persevere through hardship. This doesn’t promise marriage is the hardship - this simply indicates you will face hardships later in life.

Personal accuracy will depend on the entire D1 and D9 chart. Especially if planets occupy these houses.

Example 2:

D1 7th H Gemini (Empty house) 

D9 8th H Gemini (Empty house) 

Marriage will bring you transformation. You will gain further knowledge of the taboo - example: You get into the occult. You get into past life theories for yourself. You become more sexual.

This is one divorce indicator too. However, personal accuracy will depend on the entire D1 and D9 chart. Especially if planets occupy these houses.

Example 3:

D1 7th H Sag 

D9 9th H Sag 

Marriage will give you knowledge. You may become more religious. You may go back to university or attend a program of some sort. You may travel more. You may read more. You will learn more.

This is one indicator of feeling more fortunate after marriage. However, personal accuracy will depend on the entire D1 and D9 chart. Especially if planets occupy these houses.

Example 4:

D1 7th H Pisces 

D9 2nd H Pisces

Marriage will bring you a new family. You will have new values. You may lose touch with your own family. Your in-laws will be involved in your marriage. Whether this is good or bad depends on your karma.

IRL Story - Ik someone with the above.

This person's mother used to cause a lot of problems for her brother’s wives. So this person learned to do the same.

They had their grandma on their side and would use her as a way to manipulate to get their way just because they could. They would force changes onto the wives/aunt’s children lives, they would talk down to the wives/aunts. I can’t get specific but this person and mainly their mom were really emotionally abusing these women. But the entire claiming they were in the right and that they did it for the "good" of the family.

When this person got married, her husband’s sister and mother gave her HELL! This didn’t happen instantly but into married life - they began to clash. And Suddenly, the husband similarly to the uncles became oblivious and passive. Ultimately this is one thing that led to her divorce. And the fights over her children were INSANE! Husband and his family fought for custody and got it. She now feels the family is turning her kid’s against her.

Poor in-law relations weren’t even indicated in her own birth chart - this is simply the karma she created in this life.

manifest discipline > motivation

why should i manifest discipline over motivation?

motivation is an emotion, and emotions come and go. discipline is a mindset, discipline keeps you self accountable and in check. discipline doesn’t care if other things are happening, it makes sure you follow through with your routine. motivation feels amazing, but it can be very fleeting.

if you wait to be motivated, then your waiting for the perfect time and there is no such thing as “the perfect time” in manifesting

there is only doing in manifesting. you don’t wait to for when you feel inspired, or driven, you just do it. when you wait on something or someone, you hold yourself back. why wait though ? why wait for tomorrow, when you can do it now? stop saying “i’ll do it later” “i’ll do it when i feel ready” your already putting pressure on yourself to feel ready, but when you want something, do you sit there and wait for it or do you manifest it?

thinking of the baby steps can be daunting but it’s going to be the most impactful in your journey

yes, the end goal is amazing, yes the result is the final destination, but all the things you learned through this process is what your really going to carry on in your life. this isn’t for manifesting per say, but for life in general. appreciate the hardships, and learn to love yourself for making it through that lesson, as well as learning it

isat’s “what should we do with dead bodies” conversation is so so catastrophic to me- and a little horrifying. there’s a range of knowing how you want to die, with Mirabelle knowing the exact religious way she would prefer to be honored, Odile giving her options & preferences that mainly align with Ka Bue’s ideals, and Isabeau not having much thought beyond the general way Vaugaurde does it. They all have thought about it, and know their options well enough that they have some sort of favor or acceptance of the way their body is handled.

And then there is Siffrin, who doesn’t have this luxury at all in multiple senses. They don’t get to know their options beyond the ones from cultures that aren’t their own, the closest we get to see being “throw my ashes into the sky” which, while definitely symbolic & feels fitting for the country’s connection to the sky above, isn’t solid enough to be coined as what the Country actually does (and still, siffrin wouldn’t personally know that death is handled that way back home). He doesn’t get to die, either, and ever be mourned for. They never see how the party responds to their death in the loops, and seeing as they assumed they would just go back to traveling alone like before at the end of the journey, possibly thought they would die alone or silently, completely unaware they would be missed.

But. i can't believe i'm playing devils advocate for this, BUT it is not entirely unreasonable for an adaptation of this work to decide it does not want to reference Ronan's sexuality yet......coming to terms with his sexuality is (one) part of his arc in the 2nd book. Adam Parrish being ~the 2nd secret he doesn't want to admit to himself~ , Ronan's catholic guilt homoerotic nightmares and the like, all characterize his sexuality as something he might vaguely be aware of but seriously struggles to openly admit. I don't think he even uses the word gay or any other word to describe himself in the whole series? (unless I'm forgetting something?)

So, idk, it's not unreasonable to want the (hypothetical) audience to also not be aware of it until Ronan is forced to directly grapple with his identity next book.

i think this is one of those things that has become very dear to the fandom over time, but if i look at it objectively without my feelings, i just.....i do understand why someone could conceivably decide that this off-handed bitchy "he's gay btw" joke is not of dire importance for the sanctity of the story 😭 in the 'pros don't outweigh the cons' sort of way....

An Astrology Method

-you can get a feel of the energy of each month by viewing your solar return houses.

-so for example, we’re heading into March tomorrow. March is the 3rd Month of the year so you can look at your 3h to see what’s the energy of that month can feel like.

Example: for February, I looked at my 2h because Feb is the 2nd month of the year. In my solar return for this year, I have Capricorn 2h with ruler Saturn in the 4h. The moon is also in the 2h for me this year along with the Mars and Pluto

How did this manifest this month?

-my mom bought a gift (moon)

-some debt(money) was cleared (Pluto)

-I’ve been working on long term plans with creative ideas (Capricorn) and (Saturn)

-recognizing my worth (2h)

-weird tension with family member that came to a head but now we’re okay (Mars)

Someone test this method out, I’m trying to see if it works on others and not just me😅

Astrology is a belief system that suggests a connection between the positions and movements of celestial bodies, such as planets and stars, and events on Earth, including human life and personality. Here are some basic concepts:

We are going to start with something simple: the zodiac sign. The sky is divided into 12 segments, each associated with a zodiac sign. which are: aries, taurus, gemini, cancer, leo, virgo, libra, scorpio, sagittarius, capricorn, aquarius, and pisces. But those zodiac signs are not the same for every culture; in fact, The 12 signs that I mentioned are from western culture. Western culture believes that planets and other living bodies hold a certain influence over our daily lives. which is what we are going to cover today! if you are interested in the other cultures too, let me know.

The 12 zodiac signs are connected with elements, and for every element there is some characteristic associated. I will do my best to explain it as well as I can:

Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are the elements of Fire, and they are defined as being very passionate, enthusiastic, tempermental, and spontaneous.

Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are the elements of Water, and they are defined as being very sensitive, mysterious, imaginative, and emotional.

Capricorn, taurus, virgo are the elements of Earth, and they are defined as being very pratical, loyal, grounded, and reliable.

Libra, aquarius, and gemini are the elements of Air, and they are defined as being very social, observant, creative, and adventures.

THOSE SIGN DEVIDE THEMSELF IN ANOTHER THREE CATEGORIES.

Cardinals are the leaders, dynamic, initiators, action-oriented, direct, and assertive, and the signs associated with them are: aries, cancer, capricorn, and libra.

Fixed are the determined, resistant to change, great willpower, stable, reliable, inflexible, and the signs associated with them are: Leo, Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius.

Mutable are the flexible, adaptable, communicative, changeable, resourceful, and the signs associated with them are: sagittarius, pisces, virgo, gemini.

NOW, we are going to talk about the planets and their ruling sign:

The sun rules the leos; the sun sign is about self-expression. It is going to influence your ego, identity, and personality. The moon rules the cancers; the moon sign is about emotions. It is going to influence your emotions and feelings. Mercury rules Geminis and Virgos: the Mercury sign is about communication. It is going to influence communications and intelligence. Venus rules the Taurus and Libras; the venus sign is about attraction and love. It is going to influence love and beauty. Mars rules of aries; the mars sign is about actions. It is going to influence bravery, courage, and aggression. Jupiter rules Sagittarius; the Jupiter sign is about expansion. It is going to influence abundance, generosity, positivity, and luck. In your birth chart, you will also find:

Your ascendant; is about your persona. It is going to influence your appearance. Your descendant; is about what you see in others. Your midheaven (Medium Coeli or MC); is about status and career. It is going to influence the purpose of life. Your IC (Imum Coeli); is about home, family, and foundations. Your Lunar Nodes (the North Node and the South Node); the north node is about your potential and how much you can grow as a person, and the south node is about your experience and what inborn abilities you have. Lilith: is about your hidden emotions.

♀It seems like a lot of people are having trouble understanding it lmao. I'm sorry if the way I explained it wasn't as simple as I thought it would be but essentially it's like this;

Dorotheus Method; simplified

It is a bit complicated at first (because it involves some specific terminology & a set of rules) but all you need to refer to is the Triplicity Lord chart, see if you have a Night (sun in houses 1-6) or Day (sun in houses 12-7) chart & whether the signs are considered fertile or not (the chart is in that post).

Always count from the ascendant, past the 12th, 11th, 10th, 9th (don't go from ascendant to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd) & so on until you reach the sign before the Dominant Triplicity ruler (refer to the triplicity chart & day vs night dominant).

Fertile sign? Child. Count it.

Sterile sign? No child. Don't count it.

If Jupiter or Venus is in a particular sign, even if it's considered sterile the chances of a child manifesting is heightened. If it's in a fertile sign or double bodied sign, it could mean twins or double the amount.

If Mars or Saturn is on those signs however, it likely means a miscarriage or a termination. Something might hinder the prospect of that child's presence.

why manifesting is literally the easiest thing ever

well because all you do is say what you want, how you have it, and say it every day! that’s literally all you do queen. you don’t need to write it down, say it 3 times in a row every hour, and all these other things. ofc, if you feel like it helps and if you want to put the placebo into affect, go for it! but for the lazy girlies, just say the same thing over and over again. i personally have gotten the best results from saying the same thing over and over again. also, every time something reminds me of that manifestation, i just act like i don’t have to worry about it because i already have it ! i hope this helped you and stay persistent !💗
