Decided to give my Twst oc antagonists some love since I am getting back into the swing of writing fanfics again.
Mordred got a slight restyling so he looks less like Sebek, meanwhile Cain, Anik, Pierce and Jonas make their visual debut!
Cain and Anik, Ignihyde and Pomefiore students, chat on message boards with students from Far Raider College; basically where the NRC rejects wash up.
Mordred is based off of Morgana from Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, so he is related to Azul as a try hard cousin. Cain and Anik are inspired by Pain and Panic from Hercules, snd Pierce and Jonas are based on Percival C. McCleach and Joanna from Rescuers Down Under.
I grappled with making Jonas tall like the Leech twins since Joanna is relatively large for a lizard, but I think small and scrappy suits him better.

If the warnings contain something you don't like, then I kindly ask you to please leave. For those who stayed, enjoy.]

New players
( For context, I have finally come back to my abandoned au I haven't used yet with two oc's. One of them is really old, and never got a design until a few days ago and the other one is very new. Dream is a Naga in this au, because I rarely see naga Dream noms. My new character is just an ordinary female human, while the other is a Lizardshifter. Meaning that they can shift into any lizard-type creatures like dinosaurs, lizards and even dragons. Lore will drop out soon enough for these two. Also, this is just an au of mine! I will probably make another story of this au soon.)
The server was quiet. Not a chaotic quiet but a calm quiet. The Admin, Dream, was literally a naga that... didn't really hurt anyone. All of the members were still a bit shaken by his appearance, but not scared that he'll probably eat them. Not that he'd actually do it, as he has said multiple times when questioned every time until they were assured he wouldn't gobble them up as an easy meal.
Although, he wouldn't mind storing someone if they knew about his anatomy well enough to know that it was safe. He knew both Sapnap and BadBoyHalo had brooding pouches, maybe Philza too, but they didn't know Naga anatomy or anything. Maybe Philza did know very little of his anatomy, but not a whole lot. It had been a problem hiding his instincts or controlling them.
Especially when your friends looked so vulnerable.
" WHAT THE FUCK?!"
He heard Tommy all but screech, as if he had seen a ghost. Maybe he saw one because of the illusion of the mushrooms Sapnap gave to him as a prank.
" LANGUAGE!"
Typical BBH. He sighed, slithering outside of his human-made cave to check out what the ruckus was all about. He was confused, if not shocked too.
A storm had brewed up out of nowhere, and it didn't have rain pouring down. Just flashes of lightning and the dark clouds. George had stood not far from where he was, including the rest of the server, it seemed. Sapnap was confused, and the fireborn seemed to have taken shelter under some trees with Ranboo.
" What is happening...?"
" HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW! ONE SECOND I AM GETTING WOOD, TGE NEXT SECOND, A BIG STORM APPEARED!"
" Calm down. Maybe it's a glitch?"
But he knew that it couldn't be a glitch. The Admin would've received intellect from the server's code about glitches. This wasn't a glitch. He hummed, watching it a few minutes longer in time to see a bolt nearly strike a building. It was one of the buildings Tommy built for Technoblade.
" Dream?! Can you get rid of this storm?!"
He shook his head slightly, as if knowing that he was unable to rid the anomaly and make it a peaceful day again.
" I-"
Thunder flashed, two silhouettes falling from the sky, as a bolt flashed again, into the forest away from the base. Everyone had to have seen them, right?
" What the f- the storm is gone? Did you get rid of it, Dream?"
He all but shook his head the question, looking back at the forest where he saw the silhouettes fall.
" Has anyone seen Foolish?"
" Sorry, Karl. I haven't seen him recently. He just went to the ocean to get something. Said he'll be back by nightfall."
Dream ignored the conversations, staring at the forest blankly. Had he just imagined it? Probably. No way a storm formed out of nowhere and disappeared after two people fell out of the sky. He shook his head and returned to his cave, building more materials for the members to enhance their mining.
Just as he got done with one iron pickaxe, he got a message from Fundy. Curious, he opened his comminicator, reading the message.
' Come to -234, -31.'
' Co-ordinates?'
Dream though, a bit confused at the text-
' QUICK!'
' On my way.'
He typed, taking a moment to process what just happened. It had to be urgent...
He sighed, setting the crafting materials aside and exited the cave. He made sure to place a sign down to let everyone know that he was out somewhere. Not that they would try to craft an item without him there. They wouldn't find the hidden chest containing the precious materials. He was the only one with knowledge of making the materials so far, as the rest of the crew were... a bit dumb.
He opened a screen, checking the co-ordinates. He was at -297, 10. He wasn't that far from Fundy, but he wasn't too close either. It would probably take a few minutes of slithering while the other humans took approximately twenty minutes to get there. He loved being part snake sometimes.
He wasn't sure why Fundy seemed a bit panicked/worried from what he could gather from the capital letters in the second message, including the exclamation mark.
He slithered in the direction of where the co-ordinates took him, making sure to pass by some mushrooms that had a slight blue glow to them. He didn't want to have another experience with illusions again. Not with those mushrooms.
" Dream!"
Fundy immediately waved for the naga to follow him, seeming distressed and urgently trying to get him to follow. Dream knew by then that something was wrong.
" QUICKLY! FOLLOW ME!"
" Woah- Fundy- wait-"
The admin had to literally slither a bit quicker to keep up with him. The fox hybrid was quick and almpst silent with how he ran. Dream had to admit, the hybrid was quick. Although, the hybrid had shorter stamina than him in comparison.
He saw Fundy stop, and he began to slow down. The porcelain mask glistened in the sunlight now that it had finally made contact with it. The poor fox-hybrid had his ears down, tail between his legs as he looked at Dream.
" Um- so... I saw a storm and..."
He used a paw to gesture to show Dream something. He followed to where the paw gestured for him to look, and his green eyes widened in shock.
" these two fell out of the sky."
What Fundy was pointing at were two figures under some wooden planks Fundy probably constructed to keep them out of the sun. He had never seen these two before, or didn't receive a pop-up in the chat to let the entire server know that they had joined his server. As a matter of fact, how did they get into his server?
" Um... yeah... they don't look good either."
Dream lifted his mask slightly to reveal his lips, flicking his tongue to taste the air. He smelled blood.
" Did you give them regeneration?"
" I didn't have one, and just went with building something to protect them both from the sun."
He looked a bit upset at that, but shook his head as kept speaking.
" And one of them had a strange blood colour."
" Strange? How strange?"
Fundy motioned him to get closer to the two people.
" Um... does a black glistening purple metallic colour blood count?"
Fundy lifted the arm of the person wearing a mask, gloves off as it exposed the black contents dripping from their skin. It, indeed had a purple shine when seen from a certain angle or if some light poured in. It was a black-purple colour.
" It... that is not normal."
" So... any idea what they are?"
" I know that the blonde is just a normal human. The masked one... I have no idea."
Both saw night approach, and Fundy built the two people in, trapping them inside the hollow box of wooden planks for their protection.
" We should get Ranboo or Sapnap? One of them can carry one pf the two while I carry the other person. That way, you can protect us."
" I don't know... we can just wait for it out until day. It'll be easier as you have enough planks to build a small hideout."
Fundy sighed, shoulders slumped but he nodded. Not that he fully agreed with the Admin, but it was better then to accidentally drop the unconscious person while Dream attacked. It might cause more injuries on both of them than helping and healing them. Besides, Dream was large enough to coil his tail four times around them for protection and warmth.
It didn't take long to quickly build a temporary hideout for the four and destroy the box around the new people. It wasn't large, but it wasn't small. It was just big enough to fit Dream's entire length and leave enough room for Fundy and the two newcomers.
The only light was the torch in the middle of the hideout, illuminating the room with a soft yellow glow. Dream's tail coiled around Fundy and the two injured people, radiating warmth that the three desperately needed. Except Fundy, as he was part fox. The other two, however, needed warmth the most.
One of them stirred, and both Admin and Fundy turned their attention to the two, seeing the blonde stir and sit upright. Most of her hair covered her left eye. Probably from impact.
" Um... hi?"
Her eyes flew open upon hearing Fundy speak, staring at the two. And then-
" WHO ARE?!"
" Woah- calm down, ma'am-"
" WHERE AM I?!"
She tried to back up, but ended up backing up against Dream's coils. She froze in place."
" Um... firstly, I am Fundy and this is Dream. Secondly, you are with us in a temporary hideout for the night due to dangerous mobs."
" Can you please calm down? And tell us how you got in my server or who you are?"
Dream offered a small smile, but it did little to help calm her down as she only shook her head and glared at them. She refused to answer, but did seem to try to get closer to the other girl. Do they know each other? Possibly.
" What's your friend's name? So that we don't just use your pronouns?"
She refused, folding her arms over her knees and holding them tightly. Maybe a bit too tightly as Dream could smell fresh blood after flicking his tongue.
" Hey- don't hurt yourself! We don't want to hurt you two! We just want to bring you back to base and heal you and your friend."
Seems like he wasn't the only one who could smell fresh blood. Fundy was full of surprises as a fox hybrid, it seemed. But it would make sense as he was part fox.
" ... How do I know you aren't lying?"
" Um..."
Fundy looked at Dream for help.
" Well- I am a naga which means that I would've had a chance to eat you-"
" WHAT?!"
" Dream- that isn't helping-"
" IF it weren't for the fact that I only eat animals."
She stared at Dream in shock, slowly loosening her grip on her arm, but looked away quickly. The air was tense and quiet for a good minymte before she started mumbling something.
" Pardon?"
" Juliette..."
She closed her eyes, inhaling shakily.
" I am Juliette."
" Nice to meet you, Juliette. I promise that we only want to heal you two up."
Dream was quiet, but it was soon discovered why as he was already asleep. Juliette shivered at the mere touch of his scaled lower half.
" What's the name of your friend, if you don't mind me asking?"
She hesitated, contemplating whether or not to tell them the masked woman's name. He quickly began to talk.
" You don't have to say her name if you don't want to! That's fine by me and Dream."
He looked nervous, almost as if he was scared that he may have made her uncomfortable. Yet, she showed no signs of being uncomfortable. She just... looked wary, which was understandable.
" Um..."
She looked off to the side, hesitant as she looked at the green scales. Her eyes immediately displayed curiosity, and she dared to reach up to feel Dream's scales. Though, Fundy looked worried about how he would react.
As soon as her hand made contact, the tail flinched and Dream stirred, turning his attention to where he felt the touch. Juliette immediately yelped, scooting away from the muscle and muttered an apology.
" Sorry..."
Dream sighed, but said nothing. He only brought his tail closer, lowering his head back onto his arms, watching her. Fundy had not expected that type of reaction from Dream, but thought that it was probably smart enough to let her curiosity go wild so that she didn't do anything dumb.
" Wh-what cr-creature are y-you?"
She stuttered, shyly glancing at Dream and Fundy. Out of all the questioms she had, she wanted to know what creature he was?
" Furry one of you two..."
Oh... That made sense. Get to know what creatures both of them were so that she could get comfortable or try to feel safe around them both.
" Well... you can probably tell that I am a fox hybrid. Not really sure what else to say."
He offered a soft smile, before giving Dream a nod. As if giving him a chance to explain what creature he was. She tilted her head, curious but began to worry about Dream.
" Well, to put it in short, Fundy is just a mix of fox and human."
Her face twisted in confusion.
" H-how is that p-possible?"
" We... uh... don't question it."
She was dumbfounded, shoulders slumped at the brief explanation. She didn't seem as scared as before, but still was wary. Not that he blamed her.
Fundy leaned against anpther secrion of his tail, getting comfortable and drifting off. He mostly relied on Dream's warmth radiating from his scales. Nights tended to get cold in the woods, and he wasn't sure if the unconscious person would make it. She hasn't woken up yet, and it might have been only half an hour.
Fundy was fast asleep, and that's when Juliette had the courage to ask something he had not expected.
" Y... you are a naga, right?"
He nodded, confusion emitted from him. What did this have to do with their situation? He didn't know.
" I- um..."
She looked a bit embarrassed, scared even.
" Can... can you help my friend?"
" How can I help her?"
" She is a... uh- shifter of lizards? And uh..."
He tilted his head, a vague thought and idea of what she was about to ask popped up, but he dismissed it. He blamed instincts.
" And you are a reptile... Do you think that she... nevermind. It's stupid."
She turned her head away, trying to avoid eye contact with him. It just left him in a pool of confusion and curiosity. He couldn't stop as his question slipped from his mouth.
" You think I can help her?"
She looked... a bit disappointed, but nodded slowly.
" Yes... I thought you could... help her."
" How?"
" I thought you had bandages?"
" Oh... I unfortunately don't have any. Not even a regeneration potion."
She was conflicted with herself, it seemed. Not something he expected from her. It was as if she regretted her attempt at trying to ask for help to heal her friend. She didn't need to. He thought that it was a nice gesture and action that proved that she was a kind-hearted person.
" Sorry I asked."
Her voice sounded so small....
" What the- what happened?"
" Granite!"
A new voice asked, and he turned his attention to the other person. Juliette basically just jumped onto her, which caused her to hiss in pain.
" Ow- Juliette! My arm!"
The masked figure looked at Dream, and immediate began to ask a series of questions to which Juliette tried to answer as best as she could to her abilities. It was funny to see her bicker, but it replaced it with how she flinched from her injuries.
" Sorry! I am just glad that you're okay!"
Dream noticed the blood had dried up on her palm. It was a strange colour for a shifter, and he had never met a shifter that could exclusively shift into lizard related creatures. Was it because they were rare? He didn't know. He only knew that he would take them to BBG as Philza was not going to be available for a few days.
They had to just hope for the best.
-x-
" GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!"
" LANGUAGE!"
" I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOUR FILTER!"
" As I said: LANGUAGE!"
Things... didn't really go as well as both him and Fundy had hoped. Partly because Granite, as they learned from the interaction with Juliette, was a bit of a stubborn person with severe trust issues and a protective nature. And maybe she possibly had some trouble expressing her other emotions around strangers? It was a possibility, but wasn't to say that it was true.
Juliette was... a lot calmer as Karl treated her wounds. She didn't seem to be hostile unless in the situation she was in prior. Especially since her friend was unconscious. Not as if he could blame them both when they woke up to see strangers around them. He, too, would've reacted like that if he were a human with both George and Sapnap unconscious in their situation at that time.
Although, he couldn't help but dwell on his instinctual thoughts when Juliette asked if he could help Granite. The more... caretaker mindset made him feel uneasy. Not that it would be obvious with a mask over his eyes and lips most of the time.
He shook his head and left, getting his mindset back to crafting those pickaxes and shovels for the others to use. It wasn't like he'd try to stay there and dwell much further.
-----x-----
It had been three or four months after the arrival of Granite and Juliette. And even DreamXD had been spotted a few times. To say that Granite had basically tried to fight the god was an understatement. She managed to not only fight but also land some incredibly good but ineffective hits on him.
Not that it helped with the fact that she had gained the interest of the god, which only encouraged her further to pick a fight with him. She was either very brave and bold, or just very stupid and uneducated about the gods. It was a fifty-fifty at this point. Though, it was expected for her to not know about the gods or how many there were and their roles.
He shook his head as he saw Juliette try to hold Granite back from clawing at XD's throat which he thought was both admirable and incredibly baffling. He thought that Granite would listen to Juliette's reason, which proved to be wrong as the shifter just threw insults at the god.
However, the god left to which Granite seemed to take offense to and began cursing and calling the god pathetic for escaping. She was lucky that BBH was not here, or he'd literally wash her mouth with soup. He had done it before, and she was somehow not traumatized or anything. Rather, it made her start to curse even more.
He was pulled out of his thoughts when someone tugged on his sleeve. He turned his attention to see who it was, and was not at all surprised to find Juliette being the person to have tugged at his sleeve with Granite grumbling nonsense at the air.
" Um... Mister Dream?"
" I told you that you can just call me Dream. No need for ' Mister' when addressing me."
" Sorry..."
She fiddled with her sleeves for a bit before looking at her feet.
" I wanted to ask if... if it was true that you can craft materials?"
"Right... they hadn't seen me craft or anything. Just heard by the others that I could craft."
He sighed, but answered regardless by giving a small nod, curiosity filled his mind. He saw how her eyes lit up, and a smile begin to form on her lips, stretching from ear to ear.
" Can... can you craft a wooden sword for Granite and I? So that we can learn to use an actual sword properly in the future?"
He thought about it for a minute, but gave in. He nodded, before speaking again.
" I might have some wood left from making that shovel last time. It shouldn't take long. But let's see first."
He turned to his chest, and opened it. Lo and behold, there were still leftover wood. He was lucky to have leftovers, or he would've asked someone else to go get wood.
" I do have enough wood to make two wooden swords."
He let them know, getting the materials ready to be turned into weapons. He didn't mind if anyone watched him craft, as it was really complex to them. It should be complex to the two females too.
So, he began crafting, chipping away pieces of wood to form a sharp edge for said weapon and make a handle with whatever sticks he had left. After the first one was done, he began on the second one. He could feel both of their eyes look at how the sword was crafted by him with awe.
" That's so cool!"
He chuckled upon hearing the excitement in Juliette's voice. He couldn't help it, as she was rather sweet and literally scolded anyone trying to go back what they were doing with injuries that had been treated. It was comical, in a way as it always resulted in childish arguements. Especially with Tommy.
Now that he thought about it, Granite never revealed an inch of her face. Especially when she had to eat with everyone during hangouts. He only showed his lips when needing to taste the air, but that was about it. Granite... never really revealed any inch of her face. He shook his jead at the thought and gave them their weapons upon finishing. He would dwell on that thought later. For now, he had to focus on his tasks as Admin.
" Thank you!"
" Yeah... thanks or whatever, I guess."
Juliette began to scold Granite for her rude behaviour, to which it ended with them chasing each other and then practicing their fighting skills. How in Prime they were best friends was beyond him.
However, he was dragged out of his thoughts when Juliette began to yell at Granite. That was something that rarely happened between the two. He shrugged it off, simply thinking that they were messing around with each other with their new "toys" and testing them out.
It was silent after he had finished his work. When he looked outside, he noticed that it was nighttime already. It had to have been a few hours, since he worked on his tasks as Admin when the sun was in the sky at noon. However, he hadn't seen or heard of the two females in a little while. He grew a bit nervous, as they would already be in a building and let him know via George but when he checked his communicator, he saw nothing from George.
This made him incredibly worried, as mobs spawned at night away from the little town his friends had made, thanks to the glowstone path that had been placed everywhere. He put on a call for everyone to join, to which they did. Albeit some of them were a bit annoyed while others weren't.
" What is it?"
" Has anyone seen Granite and Juliette?"
" Sorry. I haven't seen them."
" I haven't seen them in a few hours."
" I last saw them at the pond."
" I am busy trying to get more materials for their armor in the mines."
" I thought they went to you to ask for wooden swords?"
" I did craft them the swords, and immediately began doing Admin tasks. I just got off and went through the messages."
Murmurs broke out on the call, and they were worried murmurs. BBH was always the one to be more worried, bless his kind heart. And then, George spoke up.
" I am going out to look for them. Sapnap said he'll help."
Everyone wished them luck and prayed for their safety. And then, the call ended with only Dream, George and Sapnap still on.
" I am coming with you guys."
" Alright. We'll be at the border of the forest near your cave."
" Just don't forget regeneration potions please."
" Wouldn't do that."
And then thhe call came to an end, communicator put back into his inventory as he began to get every necessary item for the search. He hadn't gotten close with them personally, but Juliette looked up to him. He didn't like failing. He wouldn't fail.
After making sure that he had everything, including some potions, he left to join the two waiting for him. He talked to them, and explained what the course of action was. He wasn't surprised to see that the two had iron armor on for safety. His scales were so thick, that not even gold could penetrate it. Only diamonds.
" Okay- I'll try to get their scent and then you two could carry them while I stand as a protector. I have more than enough regeneration potions incase they are beyond healing from one potion each."
The two nodded, seeming to agree with Dream's plan. They would have used building materials to build another temporary hideout like last time, if it were not for the fact that there were more mobs than normal and a literal god on the loose now. Who knew what XD would do to the two?! Especially since Granite literally attacked the god!
They followed Dream as soon as he went into a certain direction, tongue flicking to get a taste of the air, trying to pick up the scent of the two vulnerable females and probably a very protective Granite. Problem was, they had no idea whether Granite jad shifted into something or not, and they had never seen the robed female shift before.
He picked up a scent, and immediately made a sharp turn towards it, the other two trailing behind. He had smelled blood, which was not good. It was a definite sign that something or someone was injured.
As they got closer, they heard labored breathing and Juliette's voice. Not good. Absolutely not good.
" Dream! Sapnap! George!"
She immediately called them over as soon as she saw the trio, behind her was Granite with multiple injuries and a broken mask, revealing half of her face. She was covered in her own blood and a bit of Juliette's blood. Not that her friend had suffered most of the injuries like she did. Juliette suffered minor injuries while Granite suffered major injuries.
Now that they were literally up close, they saw a black tail behind Granite and some horns on her head. Her canines were sharper amd longer. Sapnap immediately began to inspect the injuries on Juliette while Dream went to use the splash potions to heal Granite's wounds. George inspected the damage inflicted on the raven-haired female and looked at Juliette.
" What happened?!"
His voice was a shrill yell as he demanded the background of what happened before the trio arrived. Sapnap just wrapped Juliette's injuries on her arm and face, incredibly focused on trying to put pressure on the bleeding wounds on her back.
" We got lost and then a large horde of zombies, creepers and skeletons came! Granite shifted and took most of the blows from the creepers and skeletons while also protecting me from the zombies! And then there were phantoms and-"
Her breathing increased, her chest jerking as she struggled to suck in oxygen, tears falling from her face as the memory of what happened began to traumatize her body again. She shook, body jerking with every breath she took in as she sobbed.
Sapnap tried to control her breathing, giving her breathing exercises he had gotten from BBH when Karl began panicking. Juliette kept speaking as she struggled to breath.
" And Granite- she- a phantom attacked- but then a zombie came- she swiped her talons at the phantom- and then a creeper came-"
At this point, she was messing up her sentences and her words jumbled, overlapping the previous word as she struggled to form a coherent sentence. However, from the jumbled words they gathered, it was obvious what had happened and why Granite was injured. No wonder Juliette didn't suffer major injuries and Granite did.
" It's okay. You don't need to say much more."
He looked at the Admin and George, all three exchanged worried looks and asked a telepathic question:
How were they going to get Granite out of here?
She was now too heavy for George to carry and Dream needed to have his hands free as George couldn't keep killing mobs that wished to do harm. Sure Dream could carry Granite, but then George would have to kill dangerous mobs with his low stamina, and he was better with long distance combat. Not short distance.
And they had no wood to build a temporary shelter.
Granite groaned, eyes open ajar as she stared at the four. Her eyes glowed and her pupils were slitted. Her vision was blurry and all she could see were the blurry coloured clothes from all four of them. Even her hearing was filled with ringing, their voices were muffled as they spoke.
That's when Sapnap and George looked at each other, exchanging nervous looks while Dream was too deep in thought to notice them looking at him. Even Juliette seemed nervous when they were nervous. Dream had a salution, but brushed it off as soon as the thought popped up.
He was fighting instinct to store them, especially Sapnap and George even though they had armor. He was large, and could fit all four of them in his brooding pouch, but he didn't want to scare them. Especially because none of them knew that he had a brooding pouch like Sapnap and BBH.
He sighed, facepalming. He was just going to have to fight it off and carry Granite. But then, out of nowhere and so sudden, Sapnap gave a surprising question.
" Dream, you're a naga. Don't nagas have a brooding pouch?"
George gave a confused look, but it wasn't directed at Sapnap. Rather, it was directed at Dream. The Admin was caught off guard by the question, looking at the two and very worried Juliette with a baffled expression. Not that they would see it anyways.
" How-"
" Dude! Your a naga! Everyone knows nagas have brooding pouches!"
He was baffled. No, really, he was. Did that mean he had worried over nothing? His mind couldn't comprehend what had just happened, or even process the information.
" Sapnap is right. Don't nagas have a brooding pouch?"
" What's going on? What do you mean by Dream having a brooding pouch? What's a brooding pouch?"
Right. They forgot that Juliette was here. And she had no knowledge about naga anatomy. Granite probably also had zero knowledge about his species's anatomy.
" So,"
Dream began crossing his arms.
" you are telling me that I was worried over nothing?!"
" Well- now that we think about it, yeah."
Sapnap rubbed his neck nervously, almost shyly.
" Yeah... we thought you knew everyone knew about your anatomy."
Juliette was confused and scared. Dream sighed, groaning at his stupidity. Of course everyone would know. There were books about naga anatomy in the library. He should've known.
But Juliette didn't know about how his anatomy worked. And he had to somehow convince her that it would be safe. Granite was too injured to probably not know what the hell they were talking about. Her mind wasn't comprehending what was said.
It wouldn't hurt to let instinct take over, right? To not let him hear the pleas Juliette would ask as he send her to his pouch, and tune out Granite trying her best to protect Juliette while being injured.
He hadn't realized that his tail unconsciously coiled around Juliette loosely, or how Sapnap and George tried to tell her that she was safe for what was to happen next. Or how Granite had blacked out again. George and Sapnap were also in his coils, and had not struggled. Although, they were a bit nervous as Dream had never used his brooding pouch before. Well- not with hus friends but with treasures before meeting them.
He barely heard the terrified yelp as his jaws opened, or how Juliette had squirmed in his coils as his head was brought closer to her face. He was in instinct mode, and it was evident that his friends knew this. They kept reassuring Juliette, but it fell on deaf ears on Dream. Everything was muffled, his slow progress of sending Juliette to his pouch and tip of his tail slowly coiling around Granite.
He only knew of a warm lump slide down his throat and enter his pouch before moving onto the next vulnerable person. He didn't know who it was, but he could definitely taste iron armor, which his brain registered as either Sapnap or George in its foggy state. He worked his jaws around the person, tilting his head so that gravity could assist him with getting the vulnerable thing down his throat, for it to enter his brooding pouch.
He didn't know what happened further, memory foggy and instinct on high alert as he felt the last vulnerable being weakly move at the tip of his coils. He snapped out of it, and held his head, feeling his brooding pouch full of something. He didn't see George or Sapnap or Juliette anywhere. That's when realization hit him.
He had them in his pouch.
And someone was squirming.
And two masculine voices tried to calm down that person.
It was Juliette that squirmed in his pouch.
It was Juliette that had pleaded for her life.
He panicked, about ready to hack them out when the squirming subsided, coming to an abrupt stop. No more pleading or squirming. Just stillness and quitness. He worried that the three were going to be ask to be let out, but didn't hear anything. He just felt the occasional squirming from the person to get... comfortable?
" Fucking- I am fighting that smiling mob-"
He snapped his attention to face Granite, who had wiped her face uselessly. She must be talking about XD, who he now found she that she thought that the god was a mob. She still wasn't in the best state, given how she distantly checked her surroundings.
He felt a tug at his brain, but decided to not worry about it as he brought the incoherent woman to his face. She didn't even know what the hell was going on when he opened his maw, saliva dripping from his sharp fangs as he carefully maneuvered her inside, working his jaws around her body without a hassle. He could taste the blood, which was bitter and not pleasant on his palette.
He swallowed, tilting his head as his esophagus brought her in the tube as he had gulped. He gulped again, feeling her slide down his throat and into his pouch. He never felt so relieved to have his friends this close to him, or how they knew of his anatomy.
He still felt a bit upset for letring instinct tale over and let it put Juliette in his pouch first and then his two best friends. But je found it pleasant to have control and feel how Granite slid down his esophagus and into his pouch. But je frowned and placed his hand on his tail where his brooding pouch was located.
" Is... is everyone okay? Do I need to get you out?"
" Yup! George and I are fine! Granite doesn't seem to know what is going on. Maybe she is put of it."
" And Juliette?"
His heart sped up, but he perked up at her voice. Scared, but not mad.
" Is... is it really safe?"
" I promise that you are safe!"
He blurted, hoping to Prime that she didn't take his blurt of words as a bad sign.
" I'll try to find that book that explains my anatomy when we get back! I promise!
" Can we just get a move on? I am about ready to just fall asleep after the scare of finding these two injured."
Dream just shook his head, slithering back to where they all came from. He even climbed the trees to avoid as many mobs as possible with everyone in his pouch. It won't be that bad the next day, right?
-x-
He was absolutely wrong. Granite came back from who knows where in her mind and what was the first thing she did? Go after XD. Dream had gotten them out of his pouch when they made it back to where they all came from, and is currently panicking at the shifter claw everywhere XD had teleported to. Juliette, BBH and even Foolish went after her as she ran after the god, whom teleported everytime she clawed at him.
It didn't seem to work, as she just kept going after the god like some German Shepard going after a killer during a police investigation. And she was not waiting to gain back her breath.
" Is this really the first thing she does upon waking up and get regenerated from the potion?"
" Looks like it."
" Now we know where to find her if XD is here."
" Couldn't agree more."
Both Dream and George said in unison as the three watched four people chase each other after a powerful entity. This was definitely not something they had expected after being in Dream's pouch and be let out upon arrival. Definitely not.
" Should we....?"
" I don't think it's a good idea."
" GET BACK HERE GREEN SMILING BASTARD!
" LANGUAGE!"
" HOW ARE YOU SO FAST?!"
" JUST COME BACK HERE, GRANITE! THAT'S A-"
" COME HERE COWARD!"
" GRANITE!"
Yup. This was their daily routine now. And it was now everyone's problem, as the rest of the members just watched the chase unfold. Heck- even Tommy wamted to join at one point! Dream had to learn to make Granite stop going after XD. Even if it means using his pouch or going through codes and use commands.
" GRANITE!"
This was his life now.

Hi hi! I have a question about your OCs. I’m so sorry if this has been asked before, but what are their best and worst classes?
Key: Tia = 🪷, Emilio = 🦜, Cecil = 🌿, Nyoka = 🫖, Tho I think most regulars know that by now. But unfortunately I have zero illustrations to make this format less dull-looking. Also all Tia subjects will ONLY include courses that don’t immediately require magic/relying on Grim.)
Idk how the exact grading system works but going for the classic letter-scale. (with plus and minuses for emphasis. EMPHASIS.)
Best Subjects:
🪷 - Alchemy: One of the few subjects that don’t require magical ability to participate in. She finds it comparable to cooking, and once she could recognize all the crazy materials involved she shined a lot more. (Too bad her grade still middles because she and Grim still count as a single student.)
CURRENT GRADE: B (Would be an A without Grim, otherwise good girl. The other pups could learn from her example.)
🦜- Musicology: Does have a passion for music and the study of it. He mostly keeps that side of himself tucked in his room and when his roommates are gone, though.
CURRENT GRADE: A
🌿 - History of Magic: He studies magical history as a pass time already. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So the class is just a series of refreshers to him. It’s been a minute since he’s genuinely learned anything “new” from it.
CURRENT GRADE: A+ (Writes fantastic essays.)
🫖- Summoning: It’s easy for him. There’s not much to report on. He’s not exactly personally interested in it, it’s just easy, so that’s the rating threshold here. He’s an honor student. Otherwise, he has almost equally high grades in nearly every subject except for one.
CURRENT GRADE: A+ (Flawless execution)
Worst Subjects
🪷 - Physical Ed: Just didn’t prioritize daily exercise much in her day-to-day life despite always being “on the move” so to speak. Sports in general were never her thing, but the long treks from Ramshackle to class at least have been building some stamina. She’s kind of pathetic when exerted. Always finished last when forced to run the mile back home sort of energy. (Her athletic friends are “training” her at least.)
CURRENT GRADE: C (Would be D without Grim. BUILD SOME MUSCLE 💪 NEVER HESITATE TO ASK FOR HELP )
🦜 - Alchemy: He doesn’t have a lot of patience for the processes involved. He’d rather they be right on the first try or faster. His usual weaseling doesn’t work as effectively in Crewel’s classes though.
CURRENT GRADE: C (Puppy needs to learn some more patience.)
🌿 - Physical Ed: He’s a pencil. The wind could blow him away if it was strong enough /j. He doesn’t wish to be bad at it, but it’s not like he’s been cautious about physical activity anyway in his day-to-day life.
CURRENT GRADE: C (Coach says BUILD MORE MUSCLES ✨✨REMEMBER! GOOD MAGIC IS TIED TO MUSCLES! Cecil disagrees.)
🫖 - Animal Linguistics: Ironic. Cobra Beastman weak with animal linguistics. Sure, most mammal beastmen have an advantage in this subject, but not when most of the animal subjects they speak to are small mammals or avians, and course curriculum rarely touches on much outside of that.
CURRENT GRADE: B- (Too much focus on woodland creatures and domestic animals :/ Can’t enunciate properly and the animals panic or become defensive when he opens his mouth to speak.)
(…He also takes an extra-curricular that specializes in “limbless-lizard” animal linguistics. There are a lot of Scarabia students in there. He an A- in that version of the course at least.. but still has issues with it.)

Part 2
Ship: Sevika x reader
Synopsis: Your second day at the clinic, sevika has technical problems with her mechanical arm and we learn more about our OC’s life.
Tumblr media
Amidst the chaos of the clinic the break room didn't earned it's name. The charged schedule don't let place to much time.
Morning was to patch up of last night's patrol, midday was body modification something the lizard women seemed to be in charge of, afternoon left place to fighter care. I didn't knew but apparently a lot of the fighter in the ring where silco's man. They bring back part of the reward to silco and if I understood right they also work for him as patrol. I'm not sure how it work but anyway money is money in the undercity.
The day start to slow down as the alarm clock indicates 8pm. I was less exhausted than yesterday but nonetheless I felt like my feet were about to falter under my weight. "Do you wanna go home?" Asked Darius with a sorry gaze. But before I could answer I remembered her words from last night. You didn't last the night. I take a breath it before straightening my back. "No I'm good!" The doctor smiled proudly at me.
I turned around as I heard shuffling. It was the lizard women taking off her brown blouse. "I will then. You don't need two healers at night. I did enough night shift for a life time." She said before grabbing her bag and leaving the room without a goodbye. I turned toward the doctor a confused look on my face. "Don't mind the lack of manner she mean well trust me." I was about to answer him when the door opened stealing both of our attention.
"Right on time." The doctor said trying to hide the glimpse of fear behind his usual smile. She barely glanced at him making her way to one of the hospital bed where she sat making the poor wheel squeak under her weight. She really has no manners, I thought to myself. The doctor nervously followed her to the bed and I followed behind to assist him like I usually did.
The tall women even sat down was half a head taller than me. Darius inspected her mechanical arm carefully. The usual purple light coursing through the metal arm stopped halfway through it around the elbow region. "It seems to be stuck." Observed the doctor. "Find a solution." She said loudly making the poor doctor's shoulders jump. "I need to look at jinx's note." He answered anxiously as I roll my eyes at the brute that was this women. If I found her intriguing before I now only found her irritating.
the doctor walked away to find the shared note book but I kept my gaze on the mechanical arm as the light reflected on something in between two pieces. I suddenly saw a little screw in the inside of her metallic elbow here was the problem it probably belonged somewhere else and fell lose inside the mechanics. Without thinking I try to reach in between the metal to grab the screw but the metal almost close around the tip of my finger pinching the delicate skin. "Ouch don't tense yourself I'm trying to help you you idiot!" I said looking at her entire body flexing away from my touch. I shake my hand before looking at my painfully red finger and sigh. Her gaze seemed even more frustrated than usual. Maybe at the fact I just talked to her so carelessly, but in the moment I didn’t even noticed I had just called silco’s right arm and idiot.
I looked back at the arm where the screw had now fell a bit deeper. "Fuck, don't move I think I can still reach it." She listened and didn't moved but looked at me with an annoyed glance. "What are you talking about." I sigh already annoyed by my previous painful attempt. I didn't though she would be so chatty all of a sudden. "A screw got loose and felt between the mechanism. Now would you stay still so we can both get out of here with all our fingers?" I froze for a second and then looked back and forth at her and her mechanic arm as I realized what I just said. "You know what I meant." I shake my head before focusing back on the task trying to hide the subtle blush creeping on my cheeks due to my thought less sentence.
As I take the screw and put it back in the rest of the arm regained it's glow. I took a step back not sure of how that mechanic work and not wanting to risk any other injuries. "Good job y/n." The doctor said putting a hand on my shoulder and I almost jumped.
Sevika looked down at her arm flexing her fist a few times to make sure it worked properly. What did she expected that I broke it? I thought fighting the urge to roll my eyes again.
As I took another step back to let the doctor take care of her I let out a breath I didn't knew I kept in. another women entered the room with a big cut across her forehead so I left Darius take care of Sevika as I went to take care of the new patient.
____
The clock showed half past two and me and the doctor were both slumped over uncomfortable chair in the break room. "You did good kid you should go home it's late enough." He said before looking at the clock. "When do you go home?" I asked curiously and maybe slightly worried that I never saw him leave this place in the past two days. "I close the clinic around 3" he said with heavy eyes. So it did close I started to worry it was an endless clinic. So it was 10 to 3 quite a long shift.
I stood up from my chair to go grab my bag, he said I could go, plus he would close it in 30 minutes. So I made my way towards the door ready to enjoy a good night of sleep.
My hopes ended up way too high as my sleep was filled with nightmares. Scream and fire and death all of them polluting my brain setting an unavoidable curse on my mind. When I woke up in sweat it was already half past seven. I decided that going back to sleep was useless and stretched my arms before letting out a loud yawn. The house was already filled with footsteps and feminine voices. I climbed down my bunk bed to come face to face with an empty lower bunk. Not surprised at all I exit the room to the smell of cinnamon as two teenager giggling ran down the corridor. As I made it into the kitchen there she was sitting at the table kicking her leg as she put a big spoon of cinnamon oatmeal in her mouth.
"Don't eat so fast you'll choke on it." I say playfully putting a caring hand on her head. Her big eyes sparkled as she looked up at me. She wrap her tiny arm around me. "You're back." She said against my stomach. When she let go of me I get down on my knee to be at her height. "Of course I told you I'll always be there."  I said smiling at my sister.

❝ 𝒜 N 𝒰 N E X P E C T E D 𝒫 L A N ❞ ― loki laufeyson !
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
note: I'm editing + reposting some of my old works since I know how to be aesthetic now
PROMPT/ASK: none
SUMMARY: as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, it was safe to say that you had seen a lot of strange things in your day. Glowing cubes from space, aliens and planetary-scale Armageddons were considered just another day at the office. However, the opening of the multiverse means infinite possibilities, including some that you’d never expect.
WARNINGS: possibly ooc Loki?
POWERS: none
AUTHOR’S NOTE: [written before Loki s2 came out.] So this is based off the post-credit scene in Ant Man: Quantumania for the sneak peek of the Loki series s2. I actually have s1 written on Wattpad with an OC (called Everybody Wants to Rule the World if you want to check it out!), but since Tumblr likes x reader more, I took out the oc. This was an idea I’ve had since I watched s1 so I finally just decided to write a one-shot of it. It may not be accurate to the rest of s2 once it’s released since I just made up some stuff around the 3-second clip that we got.
Tumblr media
As a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, it was safe to say that you had seen a lot of strange things in your day. From glowing space cubes of unknown origin to aliens trying to take over New York, the realm of what you considered impossible had broadened over the years. Your considerably high rank as a field agent had allowed you to experience some of these things first hand, which was both a blessing and a curse. It was more so the latter now as you’d been tasked with keeping the notorious trickster God of mischief from living up to his name. Luckily, you were well-equipped for the job— and more than just in the weapons department; you had the uncanny ability to see through lies. (This proved to be exceptionally helpful in an organization whose secrets had secrets.)
However, it was only after more than a decade of service that you were finally thinking that maybe you had bitten off more than you could chew. The God of Mischief had certainly earned his title; in an unforeseen turn of events, he’d gotten his hands on the Tesseract a second time and, before he could whisk himself away to who-knew-where to wreak more havoc, you’d latched onto his arm at the last second to join him for the spin as well. (At least nobody could ever say that you weren’t dedicated to your work.) After that, things had taken a turn for the worse and you’d both been taken to a mysterious time agency and had narrowly escaped death. (Well, maybe death was still on the table— your inevitable end had just been postponed.)
Needless to say, you and Loki hadn’t started out as the best of friends. When you weren’t trying to kill each other (verbally, at least), you glared at one another in sulky silences. But, as they say, trauma draws people together. Somewhere along the line between the end of the world and multiple variations of yourselves, you’d become something akin to. . . acquaintances? Allies? Not necessarily friends, but bonded by enough strange events to have a tentative trust with each other. You were almost certain that Loki wanted more from your relationship, but you hadn’t really forgiven him for what he’d done in New York and besides— whoever heard of a mortal and a God getting a good ending?
Now, however, none of that really seemed to matter; being displaced from your timeline certainly held a bigger threat than whatever was going on between the two of you. After your world-shattering revelation that the statue in the TVA’s library was no longer of three space lizards, but Kang himself you scrambled for answers and solutions. In a desperate attempt to understand the new situation you were in, you’d gotten the new-Mobius’ help of locating (a) Kang in this present timeline, which happened to be in the Victorian Era.
Although the three of you were hidden in shadows in the back of the theater where Kang’s presentation was taking place, your instincts were on high alert. The past few days? (Months?) had taught you that nothing was as it seemed. Even if Kang was currently pretending that he hadn’t seen your little group, you knew not to underestimate him. Every muscle in your body was tense, ready to flee the theater at a moment’s notice if necessary. If you were less of an agent and more of a civilian, you might have even grabbed Loki’s hand— which was only inches from yours in the cramped space— as an expression of the fear that you currently felt. (While you were a seasoned veteran and had seen much in your day, any sane person who knew what Kang was capable of would be scared of him.) Loki seemed to share your trepidation as his eyes never left the enigmatic presenter.
Mobius spoke in a whisper from the God’s other side: “you made him sound like this terrifying figure!”
Neither you nor Loki took your attention away from the man at the front of the room as you replied in sync, “he is.”
As if he’d heard your quiet conversation, Kang’s— in this timeline called Victor— gaze snapped to where you were standing. Although his expression didn’t change and he continued to speak to the crowd, you felt an icy wash of fear trickle down your spine. Instinctively, your weight shifted forward to your toes as you prepared to flee, knowing it wouldn’t be good if Kang or any of his variations caught you as he surely intended to.
You exchanged a glance with Loki, almost one of the same mind after you’d experienced meeting He Who Remains the first time. For Mobius’ benefit, the God breathed out: “run.”
You didn’t need to be told twice; the three of you (after some prompting to get the TVA agent moving) pushed your way as calmly— but also hurriedly— as possible through the crowd to reach the doors. While there wasn’t anyone visibly chasing after you yet, you knew better than to be fooled by the appearance of peace. Once you’d reached the busy London street, you exchanged a look with the men. Not wanting to waste anymore time, you gave one word of warning: “if we get split up, good luck.”
Then, you broke into the fastest run you could considering the crowds of people, animals and carts that went about their daily business. (How nice it would be to not be aware of the multiverse, time travel, interdimensional threats. . . but you consoled yourself that you’d probably become too bored with such a quiet life.) Unsurprisingly, Loki was able to keep pace with you pretty easily— considering he was a God who had to match your extensive training— but Mobius seemed to struggle, especially with dodging obstacles. That was fine, though (as mean as that sounded), since Kang wasn’t after him.
As you ran at a (mostly) steady pace through the winding London streets, cries and shouts began to sound from behind you— it seemed that Kang and his variants were giving the chase. You blocked out the sounds as you focused on running; one foot in front of the other, arms swinging, bent, by your sides, breaths even: in, out, in, out. You ran as you’d been trained to do: for your life. You were so focused on staying ahead of the Kangs that you even lost track of your “running partner” as Loki seemed to fall out of your peripheral vision.
You rounded a corner, and then another, and then— a hand reached out to grab your arm. If given the choice between fight or flight, your always chose the former; you reacted instantly, kicking out with your feet as you attempted to put your attacker in a headlock to take them down.
It was only after a couple seconds of struggling (why wouldn’t this peasant man go down? Didn’t they eat a diet of potatoes and gruel?), you finally registered the man’s protests: “whoa, hey! It’s me— it’s me!”
You let go to eye him suspiciously. In a flash of green, Loki’s familiar form appeared and you let out a sigh of relief which (as it usually was when it came to him) was quickly followed by irritation. “Okay, what the hell? I know you’re the fricken’ God of Mischief and all, but is now really a time to pull tricks?”
“It’s not a trick,” he reassured you. “Well, perhaps it is, in a sense— we can disguise ourselves and blend in, get them off our tail.”
The disguise of a peasant man returned, complete with grubby clothes and matted hair. You curled your lips in disgust. “Far cry from being an Asgardian prince, huh?” you mocked him. “And besides, there’s two flaws to that brilliant plan: one, what about me? I don’t have magic, so pulling me aside to tell me this is just a waste of time. And second, I’m pretty sure Kang the Conqueror can see through something this. . . elementary.”
The peasant man scowled at you, displeased by your jabs. “This is genius, first of all. Before you go touting that you know all about magic, mortal, I can share illusions. Doesn’t your super-secret special agent school teach you self-preservation, or are you willing to take the chance and outrun an impossible amount of Kangs?”
You pursed your lips, weighing your options. As much as you hated to admit it, Loki was right; taking a chance on him was probably better then depending on your running abilities. (Although, to be fair, you were a pretty good runner.) You matched his annoyed expression and crossed your arms against your chest. “Fine, we’ll do it your way— but for the record, my father taught me self-preservation.”
The God smirked at you in that irritating way of his and extended his arm towards you. “Take my hand.”
You watched him skeptically for a moment, remembering how he’d openly admitted to flirting with you in the hours before you’d confronted the Void. As you hesitated— your fatal flaw— you listened for your pursuers and heard faint shouts from their rough interactions with the common people. They were still some distance away, but not comfortable enough to completely forego Loki’s plan. You sighed and— with as much distain as you could muster— took the God’s hand.
There wasn’t anything immediately different about your appearance; when you looked down, you could still see your now-worn combat gear and dusty boots. However, when you looked over at the man next to you, you no longer saw a peasant man; Loki was back to being his infuriating (ahem, handsome) self. You frowned in confusion as you lifted your hand, turning it back and forth to try and see the difference.
“You don’t see the illusion when you’re in it,” he explained with an impossible amount of smugness. “I can assure you, however, that we look as much the same as the rest of this doldrum crowd.”
You gave him a curt nod. “Fine,” you said again. “Let’s try to get out of here, shall we?”
They made their way back onto the main street, looking just the same as the rest of the passers-by. To the rest of the common people, they merely looked like a peasant couple holding hands, out for a nice stroll. Speaking of— “shouldn’t we run?” you asked, looking over your shoulder. Although you couldn’t see the Kangs because of the crush of people, you knew they were there.
“That would draw attention to us,” Loki replied evenly, keeping the steady pace. “All parts of the illusion must be convincing for it to work.”
So, as much as all of your instincts screamed at you to run, you forced yourself to match his steps. Thankfully, the busy city was too noisy to have conversation, otherwise you might have strangled Loki right on the street. (Okay, maybe you weren’t at each other’s throats as often anymore, but he still annoyed the hell out of you.)
It happened suddenly: one moment, you were walking along with Loki at a brisk pace, and the next a man with a golden pharaoh’s headdress appeared next to them. His dark, intense eyes swept the area as he mercilessly pushed carts and people out of his way. Your grip on Loki’s hand tightened in warning, causing the God to look down at you. You jerked your head to the dark-skinned man dressed in gold. His eyes followed your motion and widened before he quickly looked away. Neither of you spoke since the illusion wouldn’t disguise your voice, but your pace picked up slightly.
The next few minutes were very tense as you waited to see if Loki’s illusions would work. It seemed as if the Kang in the Egyptian-styled clothes was tailing you. Loki knew that his magic could only do so much; to the well-trained eye, a very faint glimmer of green could still be seen. They needed to make their illusion even more believable; to do something so out of the ordinary— something that was entirely ordinary, actually— that it would convince even the keenest of observers (which surely Kang was.)
The idea came to him in an instant, causing his chest to fill with warmth. While this would certainly not be his first kiss, it would be his first kiss with you. (And, if he were being uncharacteristically honest, it might be his only chance.) Loki glanced at the Agent out of the corner of his eye, knowing how poorly such a proposal would be received. But, this was a viable suggestion to get the Kangs away from them. So, he tugged the woman next to him to a stop.
You turned to look at the God with an irritated expression. “Need a break, do you?”
Loki was looking down at you intently, his emerald gaze holding yours. Perhaps for the first time, he ignored your dig. “Kiss me.”
Not sure if you heard him right, you stared at him with wide eyes. “What?”
“Kiss me,” he repeated, a little more urgently. He glanced up at the Egyptian Kang who still lingered nearby. He lowered his voice as he hastily explained, “he suspects us. No one looks twice at two people kissing.”
“You’re cra— mmph,” your furious retort was cut off as he placed his lips on yours.
Again, your first impulse was to run, but this time for a different reason. It had been a long time since you’d kissed anyone— since your last love had ended in disaster. You’d vowed to never let anyone this close again after that, but here you were, allowing the God of Mischief to kiss you on a busy street. People brushed past you and jostled you, but Loki’s hands lightly held your arms, keeping you in place. You still had half a mind to push him away and ask what the hell was he thinking, but the other half of your thoughts registered how. . . good of a kisser he was.
You supposed that over a thousand years of practice certainly had its benefits. His lips were soft but insistent on yours, there was just enough tongue movement to make your stomach swoop (the traitor) and although you would deny it if asked, you could feel the electricity zip through you from the action. Just as your shock wore off enough to really kiss him back, Loki pulled away, his gaze flicking over your head to watch the crowd.
“He’s gone,” the God said with relief. Once he’d assessed that the danger had passed, he looked down at you with a smirk. “For someone who claims to hate me so much, I expected you to slap me instead of kiss me.”
You glared at him, any semblance of warmth that had come from the kiss disappearing as quickly as mist in the sun. “That can still be arranged.”
He gave you a shit-eating grin and wrapped an arm around your shoulders. “Come on, Agent. Tell me you didn’t enjoy that.”
You shoved his arm away and turned to resume your path through the crowd, your head held high. “I didn’t. Let’s go find Mobius. Hopefully he hasn’t gotten trampled by a stray horse or something.”
Since you’d already refocused on the mission at hand, you missed the way the God’s smug expression faltered slightly at your stout rejection. It only lasted for a fraction of a second before he quickly recovered and hurried to catch up with you. Grabbing your wrist, he added, “we should still keep our disguises up, just in case.”

Note
Hi! It's me again (I'm transferring to a bachelor's in biology this fall and I love the science that goes into the series so I love that you're exploring this)
Do either of them have hoarding instincts or dietary preferences or are they pretty much human in that regard?
They'd possibly be born with baby teeth, at least in Haze/Hazel's case, would that change anything? (Hazel would probably fit better because Falin is half French on her father's side from what I remember from the Adventurer's Bible and it feels even that they'd both get to name a kid but that's just my opinion)
Tumblr media
Haru with his mouth full: Checkit!! Blegh!! Haize: Gross. Good job, Haru, you're a natural hunter!
Welcome back to part 10,000 of me talking about my silly ocs. Hi. hello. Thank you sooo much for coming back with more biology questions for these two hehehe >:]c
Diet Preferences?
These two are quite the oddballs. Haru is an insectivore by simple dragon nature while Haize is a carnivore by hers, though their elven and tallman sides balance them out to be closer to omnivores! Light dragons commonly eat bugs as they're the easiest prey to attract when ur big and flashy though this keeps them very lithe and they typically have more slender builds, though the proteins do help a lot. Conversely, red dragons being mostly carnivores results in their larger build and their obvious frequency to be the most dominant and persevering dragon species- y'know. Because they murk the other ones due to their weaker diets and builds.
Haru started to eat bugs right around the time it was warm enough for him to go outdoors without getting sick, I imagine he would've eaten a butterfly or a dragonfly much to Marcille's horror. Like that vine of the pug eating the butterfly with his owner screaming no! Backtracking a bit though to give some cool facts about baby light dragons because I decide the lore. I'm making them weird half mammal half bird-lizards because I think the variety is cool but this also means that - up until baby light dragons can open their eyes and properly attempt to hunt - they drink milk from their parents! (Whether or not this is crop milk like birds produce is entirely up to the reader's imagination, I will not judge but I will choose either one if asked)
So up until he started going outside, Haru was perfectly content just drinking milk like any other baby- Haize was not. Unlike Haru she was born with baby fangs!! Just little milk teeth to help her get a headstart for the world and such, but she grew hungrier for something more diverse than milk very quickly. Red dragons, unlike light dragons, don't do the whole milk thing so Haize was only partially satiated due to being part elf and tallman but the minute she was allowed to eat soft meats she basically refused to go back. So just imagine like a 1 year old eating various lunch meats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Honestly it was probably for the best, Haize's fangs bit into Marcille a lot and they were worried she might grow a taste for blood if she kept accidentally nicking her mom while trying to eat. She probably would have and it would've been a really bad habit to get rid of because she hadn't developed that big girl brain to be like "Hey maybe drinking blood isn't super cool."
All in all, the Touden-Donato sibs have slightly preferenced diets! Though Haize prefers meats, nectar, and citrus fruits while Haru prefers bugs, ground vegetables, citrus fruits, and any/all milk based desserts (he just really likes them). God if these kids ever got their hands on sorbet it would be a disaster, Falin and Marcille would literally spend a week trying to explain why they cant have ice cream for every meal and have to deal with whining dragonets the whole time.
2. Hoarding Instincts
They do have hoarding instincts! Though this is one of those things that differs from dragon to dragon on how they react with it. Light dragons tend to go for the flashiest treasures to make themselves more appealing and alluring, naturally they like the attention they draw in just from an instinctual standard. They frequently discard rusted, unpolished, or just not as eyecatching treasure all the time. They really just arent particular about the whole thing unless they see you have an interest in something they were previously disinterested in- then they're smug assholes who see their treasure as still having some renewed value. So essentially Envy = Worthy to them, but they arent extremely vain creatures despite their hoarding preference and are actually particularly generous within reason. It's very common for light dragons to gift their young, mates, or siblings with treasures from their own hoards or that they've taken for themselves to gift. Typically though the gifting of treasure is to help younger dragons start their own hoard and have an idea of what to go for when out and about for themselves.
That being said, Haru is a greedly little fucker who wants every single new treasure possible, fuck you. He's very grateful for being part elf and tallman because he's aware that he can make his beautiful treasures last long if he polishes, dusts, and cleans them! So his hoard isn't too huge if only because he's good at maintaining things. Still, if he sees something he tends to want it and is often reprimanded for trying to steal shiny gems, jewels, or artifacts just because he likes them- as Haru often gets tired with his new finds extremely quickly if they begin to bore him or don't compare to his other treasures. When it comes to his hoarding he essentially has the dragon equivalent to having eyes bigger than your stomach.
Haize, however, has your more traditional dragon's hoard of miscellanous treasures, artifacts, coins from birthdays, and prized family gifts. Much of her hoard consists of trinkets Haru grew bored with but that she still saw interest in and wanted to give renewed purpose, she isn't nearly as picky but is very curious and likes to inspect an item before taking it in. She'll often let Haru have a treasure knowing that he'll get tired of it within the hour- though she has been known to assert her place as the eldest sibling if there is a gift for her she particularly wants and Haru usually shies off. Haize doesn't assert herself as the eldest often so he knows it's business if she does for things like food or treasure. Haru keeps her hoard partially in and around the her nest as well as the family nest in Falin and Marcille's room! Her nest in the guardian is where she keeps most of her baby clothes, toys, trinkets, and cloths/blankets. She just feels they're safest there and prefers to sleep near them <3.
Also, fun tid bits on how dragons train their kids to gain treasure!: Typically young dragons get the urge to grab and snatch at shiny things as soon as they're able to crawl around functionally and protect themselves- which is pretty early due to them being predators of a mythical variety- so they'll often try and steal treasure from their parent's hoard! Older dragons use this as stealth training for their young and will often guard their treasure, sitting stop or nearby and continuously removing their children until they manage to sneak by successfully to take a trinket. Typically the larger/shiner/whatever is more impressive for the type of dragon you are is what is most rewarded for by parents but they do punish thinking a bit too big. It's good to know your limits! better to have 5 gold coins than 5 gold bricks you cant carry.
so Falin was very often having to train Haru and haize to amass their own treasures which was much easier for Haize due to her slinky and stealthy body allowing for quicker and quieter movement! Haru had to learn to fight, due to his regular baby limbs and range of movement, which didnt really work because he's so itty bitty but the thought was appreciated by Falin, learning to stand your ground is good too!

OC Overview - Yuna and Rikku: Trandoshan and Wookiee "Sisters"
Two of my OCs, who will feature later on in my Empire of the Hand AU. I'm really quite proud of these two, and I wanted to show them off early.
Tumblr media
Art by my husband, @fasturtlemedia Love you!
Roles:  Salvager/Quartermaster and Mechanic
Species:  Trandoshan and Wookiee
Homeworld:  Glavis Ringworld
In the Core Regions of the Galaxy lies a forgotten marvel – a massive structure, ingeniously built to completely encircle a white dwarf star, the slowly cooling stellar remnant still having more than enough energy to power it for millennia.  It is a shame such a magnificent example of what the Galaxy is actually capable of – The Glavis Ringworld -- has degraded into yet another hive of scum and villainy.
Sometime during the reign of the Old Empire, an Imperial transport ship made a stop at the Ringworld, to transfer its “prisoners” to another vessel. The official story is that they were transporting alien conspirators against the New Order to well-deserved punishment.  The reality was Wookiee slaves, taken to be worked to death on one of the Emperor’s many clandestine projects, for the simple reason that they were Wookiees.  Even Wookiee cubs were not spared the cruelty.
When two Wookiee parents were given a slight opportunity, they took it to try to run.  Better that, better to be shot down by the stormtroopers, than to die as slaves.  When the blaster fire stopped, the troopers never even saw the relatively tiny ball of fur crawl out from under her mother’s slain form and dash into a nearby alley.
Little Rikku wandered, scared and alone, in a hostile cityscape, hiding in alleys and trash containers during the “day” cycles, emerging during the artificially-constructed “night” to scavenge for food, trying to understand why her parents had risked it all for such an existence.  One night, while trying to find dinner in a dumpster, she suddenly heard a crack.  The sound got her attention – a large, ovoid object – an egg, she realised with a start – was cracking right beside her!  She watched over it for the hours it took to hatch, until a small, green, lizard-like creature finally burst from the shell.
Rikku gasped.  She recognized what had hatched, even if it was far smaller than those who had hunted down her tribe even through the jungles of Kashyyyk, who had sold her and her family to the Empire.  The Wookiees’ most hated foes for as long as Wookiees could remember – the Trandoshans.  She got up to walk away, only to hear a squeak behind her as the hatchling Trandoshan rose up on shaky but strong baby legs, toddling after her.
This little Trandoshan was the same as her, just a lost, lonely child.  She had nobody … nobody but Rikku.
For years, as they grew up together, the unlikely friends would rely on each other for survival.  Yuna, as the little Trandoshan was named – a runt, probably why her egg had been thrown away --  grew to have a real talent for “hunting” down any tech that could remotely be salvageable and bringing it to Rikku to fix, which two would then sell or trade.  They travelled across the bands of the Ringworld, never staying in one section of the cityscape for too long.  Despite their species’ legendary animosity, they had nobody but each other, and saw each other as sisters.  They taught each other to read through street signs and discarded flimsimags, and while never having a formal education, they were street-smart, resourceful, and ruthless when they had to be.
They seemed to have met their match, however, when they tried a usual scam of theirs – “noticing” a mechanical flaw in a visitor to the Ringworld’s ship and offering to fix it, for a price, of course.  The “Pantoran” they tried to scam should have been an easy mark, but he and his human friend didn’t fall for it.  With the human holding a blaster to her head, Yuna offered something more tempting, information, biding time until Rikku could get there to pull off some arms, but the Pantoran called his friend down.  He then made an offer -- join him on a job, and he would take them off-station, to wherever Yuna and Rikku wanted to go.  Skeptical, but not wanting to waste the opportunity, Yuna and Rikku accepted.
Their new “Pantoran” associate proved to be nothing of the sort.  He was Chiss – a blue-skinned alien from so far out in the Galaxy the sisters had never even heard of where he was from.  He definitely seemed more trustworthy than the pirate gang he had joined for a heist to get a hold of an old Imperial cruiser – actually wanting to talk to the crew, manipulating the pirate captain to follow his ideas.  When it came down to the Chiss bounty hunter Raw’nuru or the cruel pirate captain, it wasn’t even a contest.
True to his word, Raw’nuru offered to take the sisters to wherever they wanted to go, but he also offered another option – stay with him, as permanent members of his new crew.  Although the sisters had dreamt of escaping Glavis their whole lives, Rikku especially was wary of trusting Raw’nuru, especially when it had become obvious that his claim to the pirates had been true – he was a former Imperial, part of the system that had enslaved Rikku’s people.
Raw’nuru replied with a story of his own people.  There was once a Chiss who walked along a beach at high tide, where hundreds of sea creatures called surfstars had washed ashore.  As he walked, he picked up the surfstars and threw them, one by one, back into the waves.  His companion asked, “why do you bother?  There are so many surfstars, you can’t possibly save them all.  What you’re doing doesn’t matter.”  To which the first Chiss replied, as he tossed another surfstars to safety “it mattered to that one.”
Finally understanding, Yuna replied she wanted to stay, and Rikku, still somewhat reluctant, agreed.
The two soon found their niches aboard the ship.  Rikku put her mechanical talent to use – there was always something that needed fixing aboard the Interdictor.  Yuna’s talent for salvage also proved useful.  Even with the Maelstrom’s soon-acquired privateer status, and the guarantee of work from the Empire of the Hand, they were still technically an “independent contractor” were not as well equipped as a Navy ship.  Luckily, Yuna had quite the eye for useful salvage and supplies from the Maelstrom’s many missions.
Personality-wise, Rikku tends to be quiet and thoughtful for the most part, taking out any frustrations with “percussive maintenance” on the systems she manages, and learning more and more about what goes into engineering on an Interdictor cruiser. Annoyed when people mistake her for a male Wookiee, Rikku has taken to wearing a delicate pink ribbon tied in a bow in the fur on top of her head. The Empire of the Hand's dedication to equality and the anti-slavery missions the Maelstrom often takes on for them has done a lot to soften her views of this particular Empire.
Yuna is the more outgoing of the pair, a chatterbox compared to her quiet sister, with a tendency to babble when she's nervous or excited. She takes her role as salvage expert and ship’s quartermaster seriously, ruling over her cargo bay with a durasteel claw.  Woe to anyone who messes up her carefully inventoried supplies. While she despises other Trandoshans for how they would treat her sister, she has developed quite the attraction to the Empire of the Hand’s other reptilian races, especially the always-intriguing warriors, the Kaleesh. She sees them as what she wishes other Trandoshans were like -- truly honourable warriors and hunters, worthy of respect. Plus their bone masks are sexy.
In her shared quarters with Rikku, Yuna hung up a poster of the Hand’s ground forces leader, the Kaleesh General Sk’ar.  She has quite the “celebrity crush” on him, which Rikku always teases her about, with Yuna teasing Rikku in turn about her conspiracy theory that Captain Raw’nuru is actually the long-dead Imperial genius, Grand Admiral Thrawn.
After so many years seen as nothing more than worthless street rats, Yuna and Rikku have finally found a home on the Maelstrom -- a place where they belong. Who would have thought a chance encounter with a former Imperial would do so much to turn their lives around?

Note
do you... by chance... have any mha ocs? :>
I think I got 1 but they’re more of an insert of me :D
Anyway, here’s some stuff about them :)
Name: Kaida Net (not at all realistic but who cares c: )
Info: A Transfer Student to UA from Australia with a passionate hate of seafood. Enjoys watching classmates struggle in Mic’s English class even if she won’t admit it. Quirk: Incendium Draconis. Pretty much a powerful fire quirk with a twist. Really rare, with only a few cases in history (due to it commonly being mistaken for just fire). Any flame colour is possible (hers is purple, gaining a pink colour the hotter the flames get). People with this quirk cannot regulate their temperature. They sun themselves like lizards or use their quirk if they’re too busy. Won’t be able to activate their quirk if too cold or wet (if her hand are wet, she can still produce fire from other parts, just not there until she’s dry). The Draconis part refers to a dragon form, requiring extreme heat to activate, resulting in them setting themselves on fire for it to work. In this state, they have reduced control of their actions and are governed by instincts, but much more power. Will protect those they trust in this form at any cost (however, if they trust person A more than person B and person B attacks person A, they will turn on person B). Can become stuck in this form if not careful, usually need someone very trusted to help guide them back to humanity.
(That quirk was so fun coming up with, I love it sm :D)

Psps, I am giving Shatha this cup of coffee. ☕️ I am not responsible for the consequences.
I wish I could artistically demonstrate just how hilarious Shatha looks downing a mug of coffee. Maw open, pinky out, one gulp down the drain--
✑ Describe your OC’s favorite place to relax.
INSIDE THE NIGHT MOTHER'S COFFIN--I mean. Ahem. In the Falkreath Sanctuary, I think Shatha does like to hang out in the room where the coffin is. I mean, before it was even there, the awesome stained glass window of Sithis is just. Art. Something to stare at and admire while a million little voices whisper silly and annoying things in your ear. If not there, then definitely the room where Festus and Gabriella and Babette and Liz all congregate. Or by Veezara. Egg-brother always gets a pass and, initially, it's a very good spot to watch Arnbjorn smith away at . . . probably nothing. Now, in the Dawnstar Sanctuary, she's either in the torture room or laying in Babette's alchemical garden, and said vampire child is always scolding her for it. Cue the stupidest guilty smile to ever grace a bright raptor-lizard's mouth. Cicero has to promise to give her a piggyback ride back to her room, only for the stupid lizard to end up in the garden once again in the middle of the night. Shatha is nothing if not entertaining c:

Slugcat Posting
I really like slugcats, and i have a handful of designs for Slugcats thrown in situations that aren't cannon :3 Tehehe,,, Slugcat dump below the cut!
Blueberry the Slugcat
-Student At Eden's Academy (not the real one, silly RP server where shit gets weird and fun) -He/They -Sassy little shit who uses the fanciest of words And Capitalizes Every Word Like This -Anxious mess because he keeps trying to make himself seem better and cooler than before in fear that he'd be kicked out if he's not considered "The Best" -PFP is newest Artwork, Ref is old as hell -Looking for his siblings and family
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Banana the Slugcat
-Fat, Happy, Dumb, lives at a different Academy. Is kept around as both a squishy and soft therapy animal and to keep down pest populations -She/Her -She's barely able to speak english, not like she needed to learn much past what would get her treats anyhow -Unaware that Blueberry is her sibling, not even aware she had siblings -Artwork shown here is old and crunchy as hell
Tumblr media
Strawberry the Slugcat
-Abandoned at Hopes Peak (Same RP server as Blueberry) and is absolutely feral. Will bite and is very big for a slugcat -He/Him -Can speak very well, but his intelligence is very much Malicious. Skittish as hell too, if it gives him more of an advantage on the situation then he will just not speak -Aware he has siblings, but isn't looking for them. Trying to make the best out of his situation. -If you can get him to calm down and open up he's feircely loyal and protective over those he considers his. -Art is also old as hell, i think i made his head too big
Tumblr media
M.U.P.S.T (Mobile Unit for Pearl Storage and Transportation)
-V e r y L a r g e S l u g c a t -Probably most cannon-ajacent slugcat I have -Resident OP character (FOR GOOD REASON) -Any Pronouns -Created by Twenty Wings Speared as a backup for information transport between Iterators when communication systems go down like they inevitably do -When I say OP i mean they have the strength of a red lizard, the back-grapple ability of Hunter, Red Lizard Spit, almost 10 slots of stomach storage (theres more storage slots but those are reserved for only Iterators), has an Overseer implanted into its head to let it scan and identify things, and can even pull out their own spines for spears -The reason for this is that they have to make almost three times the trip that any other Slugcat in cannon has to make between several iterators in relatively quick fashion to keep communications up. In lands hostile enough that Red Lizards aren't at the top of the foodchain. -So obviously they're stronk -If they are able to interact with the cannon slugcats, he'd defnitely flirt with Artificer (and Artificer would probably hate him because he gets along with Scavengers very nicely considering Twenty Wings Speared always sends him off with blank pearls for trade)
Tumblr media
The rest are one of my friend's Oc's Slugcatified, so this is all for meow
