I was talking to two old friends and a girl I hadn’t met before. One friend introduced me by saying I loved getting rick rolled. Then my alarm, which was never gonna give you up, woke me up.

“Day 28: Five Nights 🐰🤖🍕”

I’d never been interested of “Five Nights at Freddy’s” franchise nor planning of getting some games on either consoles. That said, it still remain popular to fans and young kids who grown up liking an horror-style series; especially when digging through so many lores. You can asked through “MatPat”’s YT Channel to cover that (if you want for your choice).

So on behalf; especially for its movie adaptation now on theaters since yesterday, thought I’d bringing for today’s Inktober share that I’m thankfully finished in time.

Gotta hand for having a Maxwell animatronic drawing concept. Really bring out his sinister look if he was a soul of a crazed rabbit kid; to put out for revenge on bullies who messing with him after stuffing on the animatronic’s mouth. Too much, though?

(BTW, I originally wanted to add more of the animatronics for Maxwell’s other friends. Due to time constraints, I’d rather have just one for my main rabbit character.)

I guess I should preface by saying I have equal respect for food service workers as I do any other job and I've never been someone to talk down on or treat anyone different. I've also worked in fast food myself but I really swear I'm not a Karen.

I went to our local taco bell today and ordered a breakfast crunch wrap without cheese or the jalapeno sauce (idk if it has dairy or not). I leave to go run my next errand and take a bite and get a mouthful of cheese. I swung back through and told them "hey my son has a dairy protein allergy, I ordered a breakfast crunch wrap without cheese or sauce and I got one with cheese." Then told me to pull up and hand me another bag. I leave and open the crunch wrap at the end of the parking lot. No cheese or sauce, but also no egg now. Ugh whatever. I just leave, maybe their eggs are mixed with dairy. I get to to where I'm going and open the first crunch wrap, there's SO MUCH cheese. Like an abnormal amount of cheese. So now I'm convinced someone was just being rude on purpose 🙁

So now I'm sad and still hungry.

My dad was driving on a highway and said “that car is too yellow, we need to go faster” and clicked a button and we went into hyperspeed and appeared in New York City, where be promptly crashed into a pedestrian and I woke up.

For how often Van Helsing is interpreted as an author self-insert for being “smart and knowledgeable” and whatnot… Bram sure seems to love having Mina completely own him every time the guy starts thinking he’s the only one in the crew who knows stuff.

Van Helsing: “Now, I’m sure you kids aren’t familiar with it, but here’s a brief introduction to criminology.”

Mina, a nerd, lover of ghost stories who also probably has actively researched the most interesting murders to ever happen on England out of sheer curiosity: “Actually…”

thinking about dami who starts to develop schizoid personality disorder due to his time in the league. it doesn't onset right away ofc - he's still aging into himself by the time he gets dropped off at manor.

but bruce isn't much of a nurturer esp w/ a son he never knew he had by an assassin so it keeps digging in as damian isolates from the family and continues to grow frustrated whenever he has to participate in teamwork.

then he gets taken back into the league and it juts in deeper and deeper. back to the manor. bruce is dead so dick takes over and dick is better than bruce, but damian has always been a stubborn person so he relies on the mechanisms he's used to.

he opens up more under dick's prodding but his ability to consider or enjoy other people's company is barely there. dick becomes his one close relationship. dick knows something's wrong. even a kid like damian should want to socialize.

he tries to open damian's horizons - takes him to a gymnastics class and tries to get him to interact with the kids there but he refuses. when the kids try to befriend him, he doesn't really rebuff so much as he just ignores them until they walk off.

dick tries again with fencing, with art, with other vigilantes. trying to find an area of dami's interests that he could connect with someone with. but it's also pretty nice that because damian has no other points vying for his attention all of it ends up on dick.

dick's not much of an attention whore, but there's something really intoxicating to be the only one in the room that matters.

dick lessens his desire for damian to socialize. the kid doesn't want to and there's no sense trying to push him. not when he's got the stubbornness of bruce and talia in his veins. worse than a bull. ultimately damian seems content with his solitary life.

it's about six years after dick first realized that in damian before he actually opens up about it. dick isn't too surprised. he suggests that maybe damian hasn't found his "person" yet.

or needs a different set up with people - like online and long-distance with his friends, rather than up close and in person like everyone else. sex, he considers, well damian's got a point. his right hand was his favourite partner until the first time he and babs hooked up.

maybe he just needs to hook up.

damian scowls. dick readjusts. why not start with a kiss? he's been kissed before, right?

yeah, by his mother on the cheek or the forehead. but others don't touch him like that and its preferential to him.

so dick swallows the alarm hollering "DO NOT! DO NOT!" in his head and offers himself. damian's not a bad kisser, he mimics what dick does, lets himself be pliant and soft so dick can move him around, sighs gently when dick pushes him flat into the couch cushions.

but pulling back, there's no impression or hunger that dick is used to from kisses.

"well?"

damian is silent for a minute. then, "it's nice but i don't get why people crave this."

it's such a damian response that dick can't help but laugh. damian props himself on his elbows and forearms. dick settles back on his calves. runs a hand through his hair. "maybe you're just one of those people who don't want to date or fuck."

"but i don't want any of it." damian frowns. "i don't want… people. in my life. you're the exception. but even then…" his brows furrow. "i would be devastated if you were gone. but i don't think i would feel the same with anyone else." he stares up at dick. "that's not normal, is it?"

it's not, but dick just flops over, squeezing into damian's side. his back is to the couch so damian is open and free to shift away - dick knows better than to cage him.

"we're vigilantes who fight super geniuses with super powers every night. a bunch of us have died and come back to life. you-" he pokes damian's belly. "-have died and come back to life. normal is so far out of our wheelhouse it's irrelevant.

damian relaxes. "okay."

dick kisses his temple. "don't worry about being normal, little d." he throws his arm loose over damian's stomach and cuddles into him. "we were the best because you weren't."

thing i wrote up in the group chat a few weeks ago. anyway aroace dami who repressed his emotions so much as a kid that he developed a black hole where they're supposed to be (ALEXITHYMIA, BABY!) and minimal ability to connect to people on an emotional level is still a vibe obvi i'm still a "damipussy gets wrecked preferably by his number 1 dick grayson" fanatic but 👀👀👀 who doesn't like considering the different ways trauma can make characters turn out

Yesterday night we check out Fearaphobia Screampark at Westfield at Helensvale. We all had an amazing time there. Enjoying the Mazes like the ASYLUM, BESERK, DARKNESS, SLAUGHTHOUSE & IMMORTAL and the LIVE Performances there. While there we also watch Drace the Magician and Hypnotist performance too. It was both shocking and hilarious to watch.
