Meet one of my Alchemist' from my Witch Collection, i have quite a collection.

This is my take on the famous Aleister Crowley.

His heart is replaced with a Red Quartz (something I've enabled in my witches)

Im resurching more on the man he is based off, but he refuses to call his work 'Magic' as he works with materials that come from the earth, but he isn't completely ignorant to the term, whilst holding an ornate intrest in the ocult and learning how to incorperate it into his mordern way of work. (or what was modern at the time)

He has a Familiar who is a Raven named Beatrice. She gose everywhere with him.

He is very serious in his line of work and has dedicated his life to his craft, its not known if hes soul his soul to his work, hence gaining his 'witch' status, but he is one to enjoy a good drink and discusion over such things.

i have thinking for a while what the nrc students would think if mc were a ocultist? me as a 💯 nerd, love an rpg called paranormal order from a brazilian streamer and in this rpg there some ocultist and even if ritual are not magic since u need to make the symbol and some times even tattoo them u still can do crazy shit right? 😼

oooo-, I've never heard of that game, I'll try and base them off a classic occultist-so sorry I only did the first years because I wasn't super sure on what else to write 😭

now, people's definition of "real" magic varies greatly, so I won't go into huge detail about it but it'll just mention "rituals" in non specific ways

(contents: mentions of rituals, "satanic" rituals (in ace's part), harming oneself in for said ritual (briefly mentioned in Ortho's section)

Now, the first years I think would all be a bit... creeped out, because they have magic... but not... rituals to perform them. Ace is probably the most critical of it, calling it some satanic shit, but you can easily shut him up by shooting him a glare. I do think that he'd probably ease into it the more you talk about it and explain it, realizing that it's not as creepy as he thought. Deuce is also creeped out, but he's more accepting at first than Ace was, he won't really wanna watch you do any rituals because it'll just give him chills. I do think that after while he'll start to warm up, maybe helping you get any things needed for your rituals... but he's still leaving the room because he's terrified of how creepu you look when doing it.

I feel like Epel would be one of the least creep out, because something I've noticed about a good portion of grandparents is they'll warn you of any tales and superstitions they have, so Epel probably is at least a little cautious of rituals and such. Once he learns that you're not like.. killing children and just causing great pain upon anyone and everyone, he'll chill out about it, but he'll make a few friendly jabs about you being a "freak". Jack definitely doesn't like it, he thinks it's dangerous. Even once he learns that it's not terribly dangerous, he still disapproves and makes it obvious he does, but if his comments start to upset you he'll shut up and keep his criticisms to himself.

Sebek is a special case-because some occult traditions can also be similar to fae tales, so he's not terribly criticizing of it as it seems a whole lot more normal to him than some others. Honestly I think he'd be pretty accepting of it, maybe he'd join in on any rituals you needed another person for, letting you draw any symbols you might need on his hand, especially to protect you if something goes wrong... he'll deny that no matter what though. Ortho I also think wouldn't really care, he'd probably do some research with what he can find online and try to help you in anyway you might need, such as getting you any hard time find items that you need for the ritual, and if any ritual requires you having to harm yourself in anyway he'll probably find a alternative option.

why he does that to me every time? Equipe E the most found family™️ of all the protagonists teams and their team name LITERALLY meaning HOPE (esperança) and i know for a fact that chayanne would do what Thiago did to save everyone

I will die, the only thing that can make me less sad is choosing what element and class chayanne and tallulah would be (ocultist, fighter or specialist?)

Marion's Starburst Scar is Not a Bleed Scar and Also the Case of the Missing Soul

Here's some theories and thoughts so buckle up

So, ok let me begin with comparing the scars and reviewing what we know about them.

A person gets a scar whenever they receive 4 marks in either body, brain or bleed. This also changes one's character.

We saw Howard's scar, might I add self inflicted, then Charlotte's scar and we saw how the fact that they got them changed their personalities ever so slightly but also what's notable is the difference of the body/brain scar to bleed one. Howard performed a tracheotomy on himself and Charlie arm is rendered useless.

However, Arlo Black, who entered the latest assignment with already one bleed scar which was a result of her sticking her hand into a portal and being exposed to the Flare. Because of this her next bleed scar expanded beyond her hand onto her side of the face and heightened her abilities as an ocultist. Whenever she is exposed to bleed she feels it in her hand.

Sound familiar, doesn't it?

Marion also entered the assignment with a scar. However it was never specified how he got it and which sort is it. Seems pretty certain it is a bleed scar but hear me out cos that's not necessarily the case in my opinion.

Based on previous observations (especially Arlo and the fact that they are both under Weird category) and the fact that the scar seems to soak on the bleed as the blue veins show a bit more each time Marion uses his abilities much like Arlos points to it being a bleed scar. And the fact that after receiving a (second?) bleed scar it expanded up his neck.

But what drives me insane is why the hell is it starburst shaped? How the fuck would that manifest as a sign of bleed or be an indicator that he was exposed to the bleed? Arlo's scar makes sense because her hand was exposed to another dimension/plane.

What if Marion's first scar was a result of body marks?

First of all the fact that it's starburst shaped, for me immediately brings an image of an explosive. Which makes sense as Marion was a soldier and mortars were flying left and right on the battlefield.

It is also not specified when his premotions manifested in terms of had he already have the scar or not? See it is possible that once he started getting those premotions he maxed out on bleed scars pretty quickly. But his abilities are not inherently a sign or result of bleed. He soaks up other people's marks and given the fact he saved Sean and Nathaniel probably several times his tally for body must have been full. They had not encountered bleed during the war!

Again because of the shape of his scar I imagine that it is possible that the last mark he took was a body from a bomb going off. Now that wouldn't just leave a scar, that just puts you in the ground.

Now this is when it gets interesting both based on facts and on my headcanons.

Have you noticed how Marion's "Medium" underneath his portrait looks like a toetag?

I mean it could be just a little note thingy that you attach to gifts or use as a bookmark as a stylistic/aesthetic choice but if the fact that Luis names his character Marion Collodi like the author of Pinocchio who's a MARIONette and sings how he doesn't have any strings left (while Spencer graphically described the Eldrich terror reaching for their soul strings and finding nothing) taught me anything is that NOTHING is random here.

So, here's the thing. Marion dies. Marion dies in an explosion. He dies because he soaked up that last body only it wasn't just a body mark. It was entire fucking life. His scar is a result of body marks being full.

And because it was an entire fucking life his starburst scar becomes the centre of the bleeds that starts to enter his life well before Candela. Because this life that he exchanged was a result of some powerful magik that in the world of Newfaire ways manifests in the form of bleed and therefore marked this spot as it's home and now whenever Marion uses his abilities the scar pulsates and grows.

That is also a reason WHY he hasn't got a soul, because he exchanged it, saving someone's life. I like to imagine it was Sean and they are literally soulmates, two people, one soul. I mean I don't know if their relationship will play out more romantically or platonically/brotherly but they do have an insane bond together and it would make more sense, based on the conversation between Marion and Sean in the metro tunnels alone that they would fight alongside more often that they would alongside (literally in close proximity) Nathaniel. Sean said that Marion would often call the shots, how to maneuver the battlefield and Nathaniel being the lieutenant would put him in more commanding position. I just don't imagine he would tag along Sean and Marion having entire troup to command.

Either way bleed has already entered Marion's body/soul before Candela or any previous contant with bleed and marked him and that's why the thing said that he's a perfect vessel already prepared for whatever evil plan the monster have.

This of course DOES NOT explain the definitely DELIBERATE choice on Luis part of naming his character Marion Collodi, as elaborated above and what the fuck does it mean but perhaps we will learn about it later on.

Or perhaps because Marion is a vessel, because he exchanged his soul for other person's life he will become possessed and become a plaything, a mariontte to some Eldrich terror puppetier. Like some sort of cruel cosmic joke that prays and exploits Marion's heart of gold and innate inability to take care of himself and just soaking those marks left and right.

Since cellbit told Dapper about the ocultists and the paranormal elements from his RPG i've been wanting to tell people here about some of the characters from AOP (A Ordem Paranormal), do you think I should just... infodump some things for you understand since cellbit seems to be wanting to canonize some things from his RPG in QSMP?

I love the friend group I formed during the pandemic because we all love rpgs a lot.

So in 2020, we started a D&D campaign, where I was a rogue dwarf (because I wanted to torture myself) and it ended with all of us adopting children from a dead NPC.

Then, last year, we started an Ordem Paranormal campaign, and I made myself a former criminal ocultist orphan who is afraid to create bonds but is unintentionally crushing on her neighbor.

Now I am working on 2 other characters for 2 entirely different rpgs. One is set in League of Legends world and I am a bounty hunter from Shurima who might play a bigger role in the story in the future, and the other is a Jujutsu Kaisen world, Heian period, and I am an Inumaki sorcerer who was actually fused to a curse to be revived.

Something they all have in common is a lack of knowledge about their own origins. The dwarf didn't know she had killed the family of someone else in the party, the agent still doesn't know what killed her entire family (a mob), the bounty hunter doesn't know she is half vastaya and the sorcerer doesn't know she has a curse living inside of her.

okay so lets see if im getting this right

dante and leonardo are two ocultists/esoterrorists who were attempting to do a ritual on a child with terminal scoliosis to save their life. they both perhaps had some connection to this orphan child. this ritual required two unconscious volunteers. which happened to be luciano and fernando who were in that same hospital due to fernando seemingly also being terminally ill with something that left him with a week to live. fernando gets told by leonardo that he’d help his husband get better as a way to get him to take part in this ritual. fernando knew who leonardo was and that he shouldve arrested him but he still agreed as he was desperate to save fernando. so what i initially was confused about was how they got everyone there but turns out luciano abducts this sick child because leonardo had said this ritual would require a person to save his husband so he takes the child. leonardo knew fernando was also sick. supposedly luciano claims that dante also knew but dante claims he doesnt. this ritual fails in some way and the child, fernando, and leonardo die in the aftermath. fernando’s conscience goes into his husbands body and theyre able to sorta transform and switch between the two sharing the body. dante is the only one left, debatably, normal and intact. he is then arrested by erin when the ordo agents discovered what happened.

Hello hello and happy STS! :D If your main characters were sucked into our world, The Devil Is a Part-Timer-style (i.e., dropped into our world without the resources/status they had in theirs, transformed into basically human with no powers, and the only thing they've got are the clothes on their back and their memories), how well would they fare? What would they do to survive, who's failing at adapting and how, and most importantly, who is working at McDonald's?

Countdown To Magic:

Abora would do fine, she'd probably find some job at some hotel. She'd seem like she was doing fine, but in reality would be constantly searching for a way back to Kenhallow, as she feels she must. The Countdown is her responsibility, it surely must be collapsing while she is here in this other realm. (Yes, she no longer has as much of declining health, but that isn't the point. Kenhallow is where she belongs)

Horatio would mostly thrive, he'd probably end up in a high school. He'd hate that there isn't magic here, everyone thinks it fake, no-one appreciates proper magic theory. He'd probably end up gaining a small, loyal fandom for his writings about "magic theory," as they are incredibly detailed.

Galfrin (Abora's dad) would struggle, he had settled into his life taking care of the inn, that's all he ever expected, in addition that our world isn't easy on people with disabilities.

Galena would be the one who works at McDonalds, she'd try to get a job as a tax collector or accountent, as that's what she has experience with, but no-one would take her experience as qualifications. So, upon finding out no qualifications are required to work in McDonalds, she would apply for a job there, and start taking classes at a community college.

Caspian Acker would fare terribly. (He's also the only one who actually has powers to lose that he cares about, and he also has the highest position). He had thought he had made it, after saving the world he wouldn't have to worry about money, about figuring out where to sleep. He'd always have a position secured. But here no-one knows what he's done, he doesn't have his magic. There's nothing that seperates him from the kid he was all those years ago.

Also, I'll answer this for two characters from life friends & friendship ends (not the main characters, but the main characters have enough going on in their world. i don't know what they would do in ours, maybe all work at McDonalds together)

Edur is glad at this, a bit. He gets out of that magic school. (Although he feels guilt over how he got to our world, surely it was some magic). He takes a train north to whatever wilderness he finds, and tries to hunt for subsistence. Then he gets in trouble for hunting without a license, probably ends up in jail as he fights whoever punishes him.

Zadaf absolutely breaks down, he needs to be in Rakan. Who else will ensure that time travel magic does not get used? He finds ocultists, anyone who can talk about getting to another world and pursues getting back to the detriment of anything else. But also as soon as he finds someone lying about getting home? He does not care about them. And probably ends up stabbed, after trying to leave someone without paying.
