Of Two Worlds Valentine's Day Special 2024
Fushiguro Megumi x Half-Curse! Reader
Mouse Note: Just pretend we're all happy and alright! :)
“It’s Valentine’s Day again,” said Nobara. She sighed. “Last time I chickened out with Maki and just threw the chocolates into Gojo-sensei’s pile…”
“Come on, you can do it this time!” said Itadori encouragingly.
“I think Maki likes you, too,” said (Y/N) matter-of-factly.
“She doesn’t hit you at all,” said Megumi in agreement.
The four first years continued walking through the marketplace in search of the perfect set of sweets for Nobara to give to Maki. She had decided that since she had gotten too nervous last year that she needed to do even better this year, and so the group found themselves searching every stall of Valentine’s Day-themed paraphernalia.
“I don’t think that means much,” sighed Nobara. “She doesn’t hit any of the girls.”
“She hits Nishimiya and Mai,” said (Y/N).
“That’s because they’re terrible and stuck-up,” huffed Nobara. “She doesn’t hit you, either, (Y/N).”
“That’s because (Y/N)’s too nice!” said Itadori, smiling.
“What about when Maki always picks you to train with?” said Megumi. “Doesn’t that mean anything?”
Nobara turned red. “She’s just trying to make me stronger! She’s a supportive senpai! It’s not like she thinks anything special about me.”
(Y/N) tilted her head. “But when I told her about the speech you gave Nishimiya about being a strong and beautiful woman and being proud of yourself, Maki told me that she thought you were so inspiring and the type of woman she’d want to spend more time with.”
Everyone paused and turned to (Y/N). Nobara’s eyes were wide.
            “She said that?!” she said.
“I thought she told everyone,” said (Y/N), blinking.
Megumi smiled in amusement. (Y/N) had no idea Maki had told her because it was something near to a confession and (Y/N) wasn’t likely to let it slip.
Nobara squared her shoulders. “If she thinks that, I need to make sure everything is perfect for her!”
            “Yeah!” said Itadori supportively.
“Come on,” declared Nobara, continuing through the stalls in determination. Itadori hurried after her, grinning ear-to-ear.
“Did I say anything wrong?” asked (Y/N).
“I think you made Kugisaki’s day,” chuckled Megumi. “Just don’t tell Maki what you told her.”
            “Oh,” said (Y/N), registering. “Oops.”
“Don’t worry, they’re both oblivious to each other, so they needed the push,” said Megumi. He watched Nobara question a seller over the quality of the sweets they were selling.
“We should go over before Nobara pulls out her hammer,” said (Y/N). She might not always register when people were displaying some types of emotions, but they knew Nobara well enough to know where this was going.
“Probably,” sighed Megumi. “I don’t know which one is worse: Nobara stressed or Gojo bragging about all the people who confess to him.”
            “Gojo-sensei,” said (Y/N) decidedly.
Megumi chuckled. “You might be right. But still, let’s go.” They started walking towards Nobara and Itadori.
“Excuse me,” said a nervous voice, and a boy stepped out from behind a stall.
Megumi and (Y/N) turned towards him and recognized him as Kaneko Saburo, a boy their age they had rescued on one of their last missions with a weak curse.
“You’re (L/N), right?” said Kaneko. “From the abandoned school? You saved me from that weird…thing.”
(Any rescued people from curse incidents could faintly remember the ordeal, but oftentimes it became faint for them or they tried not to think of it until it became faint. Not to mention, they couldn’t talk to anyone about it since they’d be seen as crazy).
            (Y/N) nodded. “I did.”
“I, uh, wanted to thank you,” said Kaneko.
Megumi’s eyes narrowed as he saw Kaneko’s gaze on (Y/N), adoring although nervous.
            “You’re welcome, Kaneko-san,” said (Y/N).
“You can call me Saburo!” said Kaneko, turning red.
            (Y/N) blinked. “Alright.”
Saburo looked very disappointed that she hadn’t said his first name, but he didn’t stop. “Anyways, this is for you.” He held out a box of chocolates.
Megumi crossed his arms. He wasn’t a fan of this. Not at all.
“Thank you, Saburo,” said (Y/N) politely, taking the box.
“You’re welcome, (L/N),” said Saburo, smiling nervously. “And if-if you’re ever free or in the city, I, uh, put my number inside the box if you wanted to hang out.”
“She’s busy,” said Megumi, getting frustrated (and not a little jealous at the idea of another person trying to be with (Y/N)).
“Oh,” said Saburo, slightly disappointed but more afraid at Megumi’s cold stare.
“School takes a lot of time,” said (Y/N), completely oblivious to how Megumi and Saburo were having a stare-off. “But thank you.”
            “O-Of course,” said Saburo.
“We have to go catch up with Kugisaki and Itadori,” said Megumi.
“Right,” said (Y/N). She turned away and started walking away, just going about her business.
Megumi looked long and hard at Saburo. He had a million things he wanted to say (mostly along the lines of “back off” “you don’t deserve her” “she’s too good for a coward like you”), but he just turned and walked off.
“That was nice,” said (Y/N), looking at the box in her hands as they walked.
            “It was,” said Megumi shortly.
(Y/N) opened the box, and sure enough, taped to the underside of the lid, was Saburo’s number. “Maybe I can get more if these taste good.”
Megumi pulled the number out and looked at it. “Maybe.” He didn’t like the way his stomach twisted at the idea of (Y/N) being so close to anyone else. He knew he shouldn’t mind and should let her do as she wanted since they weren’t together and he didn’t have the guts to tell her how he felt, but he couldn’t help it. Megumi didn’t want (Y/N) to be with anyone else.
“Here,” said (Y/N), picking up a dark chocolate piece and holding it out to Megumi.
“For me?” said Megumi. He wasn’t really sure he wanted to eat any of Saburo’s chocolate.
“Last year you said that we could give each other sweets even though we’re just friends,” said (Y/N). “I want you to have some.” Really, she wanted to tell him more, but she could settle for showing she cared in this way, too. (Y/N) wasn’t very good at it, but she loved Megumi, after all, so she was trying. She wanted him to know she really did care.
Megumi’s heart beat a little quicker. She did care. He knew it probably wasn’t to the extent he did for her, but it was…sweet. And he loved the gesture. “Thank you.” He took the piece and ate it. “I, uh, I don’t have anything for you.”
(Y/N) smiled, and Megumi adored the expression on her face. Little did he know, she loved the fact that he had even considered her.
“I don’t mind,” she said. “I just like being around you.”
Megumi wasn’t sure how much more his heart could take. She was just too sweet, and he loved her just too much. “Well, you already know that there’s no one else I’d want to spend the day with.”
(Y/N)’s smile widened. “Then it’s good that we’re together.”
Together. The pair thought that was a wonderful word.
“Right.” Megumi smiled softly. “It’s the two of us. We always find each other.”
            “Always,” said (Y/N).
If only they both knew how significant that sentiment was.

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes
just to watch that all fall apart in the last year or so and especially the last two weeks
there's nowhere good to go anymore for artists.
edit - a lot of people are saying the tags are important so actually, you'll look at my tags.
#please dont delete your accounts because of the AI crap. your art deserves more than being lost like that #if you have a good PC please glaze or nightshade it. if you dont or it doesnt work with your style (like mine) please start watermarking #use a plain-ish font. make it your username. if people can't google what your watermark says and find ur account its not a good watermark #it needs to be central in the image - NOT on the canvas edges - and put it in multiple places if you are compelled #please dont stop posting your art because of this shit. we just have to hope regulations will come slamming down on these shitheads#in the next year or two and you want to have accounts to come back to. the world Needs real art #if we all leave that just makes more room for these scam artists to fill in with their soulless recycled garbage #improvise adapt overcome. it sucks but it is what it is for the moment. safeguard yourself as best you can without making #years of art from thousands of artists lost media. the digital world and art is too temporary to hastily click a Delete button out of spite

I adore this recent trend (if that's the right word) of letting an orchestra play classical music on a festival. It's magical to see thousands of festival-goers going absolutely wild on Beethoven. Mosh/circlepits, crowd surfing. It's wonderful to see the orchestra and the audience having the time of their lives.

best thing about uncle iroh is that if you pay attention he is actually just as much of an idiot as zuko but has just mastered the art of coming across as a wise old man. the even better thing is that zuko is the only one on the planet who somewhat realizes this and no one would ever believe him because he's zuko

Of Two Worlds Christmas Special 2023
Fushiguro Megumi x Half-Curse! Reader
Mouse Note: Merry Christmas! I know everything is going to hell in the actual story, but here's a Christmas gift for you all! Enjoy the holiday season!
Additional Mouse Note: Aka if everything was okay and happy.
“What happened to the kitchen?” asked (Y/N) as she walked in after getting the call from Gojo for a meeting. The entire room was covered in flour, and in the middle was a giant (and she meant giant) stack of cookie sheets.
“Gojo-sensei made us cookies!” cheered Itadori.
“They taste surprisingly good,” said Nobara. She huffed. “Of course he’d good at everything.” It was infuriating how easily Gojo did everything he tried.
“Can I have one?” asked (Y/N).
“Sure.” Megumi held out a cookie.
“Nope!” Gojo snatched it from him. “No more eating cookies until we’ve decorated!”
            “Decorated?” repeated (Y/N).
“Yep, for Christmas!” From seemingly nowhere, Gojo pulled out a large shopping bag and dumped the contents out. Sprinkles and icing in all different colors and designs clattered onto the table. “Tada!”
“This is what you brought me here for?” said an unimpressed voice. Nanami stood in the doorway and crossed his arms.
“Of course! It’s Christmas,” chirped Gojo. “Come on, come on! It’ll be fun.”
“No,” said Nanami. “You’ve already made enough of a mess. I’m not adding to more.”
“I agree with Nanami-san,” said Megumi, and Gojo deflated.
“You two don’t want to decorate?” asked (Y/N), blinking and looking at the pair.
Nanami and Megumi looked back and nearly sighed. Nanami was too weak for the teen he saw as his own daughter, and Megumi was too weak for the girl he liked.
“I suppose I have a bit of time,” said Nanami.
“I have nothing else to do,” said Megumi.
Itadori and Nobara exchanged looks and grinned. They both knew neither would stay if it wasn’t for (Y/N). It was hilarious.
“Alright, then, let the decorating begin!” Gojo grabbed Nanami and Megumi by the collars before they could change their minds again and dragged them to the table.
“Yay!” cheered Itadori, grabbing two cookies (one to decorate and one to eat).
“I’m going to make the best cookie here!” declared Nobara competitively. “And then I’m going to give it to Maki.”
“Are you trying to impress her?” asked (Y/N) curiously.
Nobara turned red. “No! No way! I just think she’d think that it was cool because I think she thinks I’m cool or at least I hope she does.”
(Y/N) blinked. She hadn’t gotten any of that. “Megumi, what does that mean?”
“I’ll explain it to you later,” said Megumi.
“Okay. I was just trying to be supportive. I think Maki and Nobara are nice together,” said (Y/N), still unaware that Nobara was so red she might melt in embarrassment.
Megumi grinned and chuckled at the reaction. “You’re doing fine, (Y/N).”
            She brightened. “Oh. Good.”
They all sat down and took icing and sprinkles before Gojo could steal anything (he was hoarding and creating some monstrosity that would somehow turn out perfect because it was Gojo doing it).
(Y/N) stared at the cookie in front of her, shaped into a gingerbread man. She didn’t consider herself quite creative, but she wanted to do something fun. So, she picked up some icing and began to carefully place it on the cookie. She was silent as she worked beside her friends, and each time she finished a cookie, she picked up another gingerbread figure.
“Done!” declared Gojo. “Tada!” He held up a sheet of cookies with a variety of expertly decorated sweets with designs such as presents, Christmas trees, and a yeti(?).
“Dammit, why is he good at everything!” cried Nobara, slamming her hand down angrily. Her own cookies were a mess of rainbows and cute sayings about Christmas on them.
“Wow, Gojo-sensei!” said Itadori, eyes wide. His cookies were a mess of green, white, red, and ton of sprinkles. “Those look so good.”
“The bakery I go to has better,” said Nanami simply. He had classic cookies in traditional Christmas designs, simple geometric patterns and the like.
Gojo pouted. “You should appreciate me more, Nanamiiiiiii.”
“I don’t appreciate showoffs,” said Nanami.
“I like yours, Megumi,” said (Y/N), looking at his cookies.
Megumi looked down at his sheet of blue, silver, and white cookies. “I think I forgot about the Christmas part.”
“I still think they look good,” said (Y/N), smiling.
Megumi turned a little pink. “Thanks.”
“What did you do, (L/N)?” asked Itadori eagerly.
“Oh, mine look bad,” said (Y/N), straight to the point.
            “Show us!” said Nobara.
“Come on, (Y/N),” said Gojo eagerly.
(Y/N) sighed and held up her sheet. On each of the gingerbread figures, she had attempted to make her friends as cookies. It was messy, but they could identify Itadori’s pink hair, the blindfold and white hair for Gojo, suit for Nanami, skirt for Nobara, gloves for herself, and spiky black hair for Megumi.
Her friends stared at it, touched that she had tried to create all of them. It was very sweet.
“They don’t look like you,” said (Y/N). “Sorry.”
“They look so cool!” said Itadori.
“It’s us,” said Nobara, grinning. “So cute!”
“No one appreciated me…” pouted Gojo. “But yeaaaah, (Y/N)’s are good.” He was being honest, but he was being stupid, too.
“Very well done, (Y/N)-kun,” said Nanami, smiling slightly. He was honored to be a part of (Y/N)’s creation.
“Yeah, it looks really nice, (Y/N),” said Megumi. “Good job.” He smiled at her.
She gazed back between him and Nanami and smiled shyly. “Merry Christmas.” She paused. “I can say that before the actual day, right?”
The group laughed, and (Y/N) looked at them in confusion before smiling at their joy. A Merry Christmas, indeed. All she wanted was her family together. That’s why she had made what she did. Her wish was for everything to be happy together.
