When kokichi first saw you, he gasped. Like literally gasped. But who wouldn't? When you walked into the room, everyone stared at you. Kaede was at awe, Shuichi was a blushy mess. God even Maki was suprised. You were used to this type of attention, but didn't brag about it since you were a humble girl. Kokichi decided to be brave and introduce himself to you, trying really hard to not go insane while talking to you. He cracked up a really odd joke, and you laughed.

OH MY FREAKING GOD.

Your laugh and smile was the most beautiful thing he ever saw. He hid his face in his scarf because he was so close to breaking his act. Underneath, he turned red. REALLY RED. You soon got closer with him because he would always come to you and ask if you could help with his pranks. You slowly developed a crush on Kokichi because he always made you laugh and he even shared his panta. Just a little though, he loves his panta. A lot of the time Kokichi would never see you alone, so many people tried confessing to you and failed everytime. Literally every single confession, or love letter. You declined. Kokichi thought he didn't have a chance, you could've been better of with Rantaro he thought. You talked to Rantaro a lot, but that was partially because you would always get assigned seats with him. It took you some time to realize that Kokichi wasn't just teasing you for fun, or treating you differently just because you were his friend. He liked you. And he liked you A LOT. LIKE A BUNCH.

It's so freaking obvious that he likes you even Monokuma knows.

Kokichi tried to do everything he could for you to get the hint, you weren't oblivious, its just that everytime he would try to flirt, it would end up with him getting flustered instead.

Last time you flirted back he started squealing, blushing and fangirling. Of course you didn't know though.

"Aww Y/n-chan your face looks so adorable whenever I tease you!"

"Kokichi, have I ever told you that your cute whenever you smile like that?"

... Mf was speechless

"I- uhm, I-i-im sorry AHAHA- I HAVE SOMETHING TO DO." And then continues to run away with his thoughts swirling around his head and his heart pounding like crazy.

When he confessed to you, it was really quick and he avoided you for a few days afterwards. When he told you he loved you, he was on the verge of tears because he thought you would reject him right on the spot like you did to everyone else.

But once you found him insulting Miu, like always. You took the opportunity to sneak behind him, grab his arm and take him somewhere private where you two could talk alone.

"Kokichi, please, I NEED to talk to you, you've been avoiding me for days and I really want to tell you something."

"No. I-it's fine Y/n-chan. We can stay as frie-"

Before he could finish his stupid response, you tugged on his scarf, brought him closer to you and kissed him right on the spot. When you pulled away, he was feeling multiple emotions at once. Hearing the words "I love you too" come out of your mouth was like music to his ears, and it felt like a dream.

You two started dating after a week of awkward eye contact and blushing everytime you two saw each other. Kaede was the one who made you two share your feelings and decide to get together.

Kokichi was the best boyfriend ever! He spoiled you like crazy! Chocolate, stuffed animals, Tons of cuddling and movie nights. He is literally such a good lover i'm simping so hard right now. You have his whole heart. And you feel the exact same way!

kaede 

oh she is on you about it, but not in a bad way. she listens intently to anything you’re saying, thinking maybe she can get kiibo to translate it later. she ultimately fails, simply forgetting how exactly you said it and gets the weirdest translation ever and ends up almost malfunctioning kiibo. 

“whhhat are you doing?” you had asked, walking in on a very confused kiibo and a disappointed kaede. “oh uhm,, i was asking kiibo about something that uhm, i heard earlier!” “translation,, my chicken smacked it’s nightlight in the face.” upon hearing kiibo, you realize two things. 1. kaede was trying to translate something you had said 2. she was absolutely terrible at spanish pronunciation. 

shuichi 

he’s curious, that’s for sure, but he doesn’t exactly know how to ask you what you had said. he thinks that either you’d think he was dumb or you’d blatantly ignore him. oh the over thinker you are, saihara. like maki, he’s writing down everything you say that he wants to know, except he has no plans of talking to you about it. if he doesn’t have a pen and paper, it’s a mental note in his mind and thank the gods he’s infinitely better at spelling and pronunciation than kaede. 

“whatcha writing, shuichi? i’m curious.” you’d said, and yet again another thing he’d have to write down. “it’s nothing, don’t worry. just a couple of notes.” he had written down your latest phrase, taking the sticky note off and folding it, putting it in his pocket for later. “really? i could help you know-“ “no! i mean,, i appreciate it, i really do, but i don’t need any help, really.” “you sure?” “of course, no worries.” you then smile at him, shrugging and going back to your original task which required you to leave the room for just a bit. he sighed, slumping his shoulders in defeat. stupid shuichi, that could’ve been his chance to ask about phrases. his pockets are filled with folded up sticky notes of the things you say, and now he’ll have to search through an outdated dictionary for answers. good luck with that, saihara. 

maki 

immediately thinks that whatever you said, it was some sort of code. she’d glare at you from wherever she was, leaving poor you to question what the hell you did wrong. you wouldn’t know she was following you and listening to every small thing you said in your native language until you were alone and turned around from looking at something in your lab, seeing maki less than a foot in front of you. 

“ah- maki, what did you need? i didn’t even hear you come in…” you put down the item you had on a nearby desk, trying to back up a bit. “this. what do they mean?” she presented a notebook to you, listing all the spanish phrases you’d said out of instinct in the last couple hours. “ohhh… well for instance that first one means ‘i am surrounded by imbeciles.’ if that helps you.” you smile a bit, already catching onto the fact she thought it was something dangerous and thinking it was just a bit entertaining. 

kokichi 

somehow fucking knows spanish. and he’s listening for it too, already discerning from the slightest slip of an accent, that nobody else had noticed, that english most certainly wasn’t your first language much less japanese. 

“no puedes hablar en serio. te juro que me pones de los nervios más que nadie aquí.” you’d said as kokichi bothered you with the most useless thing, and trust me he knew what he was doing, for the nth time today. “heyy, that’s not nice to say, now is it?” he’d responded back in perfect spanish, smirking to himself as he followed behind you. you hadn’t noticed until you continued cursing at him in spanish (the same way you’d later realize was much like your mother) and then you stopped dead in your tracts, slowly turning your head to the smug kokichi. “what.” he flashed you that cheshire cat smile, and you swear that if it was possible he’d have the same powers as him. “what, not in the mood to talk anymore now, are you? be careful what you say, amigoooo!” he taunted as he walked backwards and left you with your eye twitching. “kokichi! get back here!” you looked around with furrowed brows, now speed walking towards kokichi with a glare. earlier, you had said some not nice things in a moment of anger, but hopefully he didn’t remember all of them. he couldn’t have, right? either way, he can’t run from you forever, and when you catch him he is absolutely, positively done for. 

kiibo 

offers to be a translator for you. you could say the most diabolical thing on earth in spanish and he’s looking like 😦 but would still offer to translate what you said like you MEANT for somebody to actually understand you. 

“su multa como el infierno, yo personalmente sería bussing abajo sin dudarlo.” “EXCUSE ME. would you like me to translate your current sentence?” “ABSOLUTELY NOT KIIBO???” you have half a mind to shut him off just because he offered to translate it. hopefully, JUST HOPEFULLY, kokichi wasn’t around to hear that because then you’d really be in trouble, but if kiibo keeps offering to translate your deep dark secrets you say in spanish he better watch out. ricky when i catch you ricky.

Swap as in Makoto is a robot? Or Makoto-the-person swaps with Keebo? (I'm going to assume the latter.)

If Makoto is just another human but happens to wake up in the same room as Kokichi instead of Shuichi or Kaede, a part of me still wants to imagine him doing some miraculously clumsy tumble out of his locker where he bumps his head and everything, just because I think it would be funny to have Kokichi react to that. (My initial thought is, he'd probably make fun of him to his face and then leave, but he'd make sure to tell someone– probably Kaede and Shuichi –that "Some dork died in there," to make sure someone goes to check on him.)

But supposing Makoto doesn't fumble right off the bat and they both make it out of the locker normally, I think (in the absence of a robot), Kokichi would process that he doesn't remember how he got here and this confusion would be externalized at Makoto's expense.

So Makoto goes, "What's going on? Where am I?"

And Kokichi pretends to be shocked, like, "You mean you don't remember?"

"Remember? I...I think I was being chased...? And then...I don't know. I just woke up here."

"You don't remember the trip here?" Basically, Kokichi asks a bunch of probing questions to see if Makoto's memories match his, and Makoto answers with complete honesty. And then, once Kokichi feels he's learned all he can from Makoto, he goes, "Oh jeez, this is bad! I can't believe my boyfriend lost all this memories!"

"Boyfriend?? Really?! I...Sorry, I...I really don't remember you at all! What's your name?"

Kokichi bursts into tears, and Makoto tries his best to console him, completely bewildered, but then Kokichi abruptly stops crying and says something to the effect of, "Oh well. If you don't even remember me, I guess that means I can start seeing other people. Unless you can win me over again, of course. Bring me gifts!"

Only then is Makoto like, "Wait, were we actually dating, or...?"

"Of course! You think I would lie about that?"

"Then...what's my name?"

Kokichi pauses, then smiles and says, "Oh, this is a good time to tell you: I lost my memory, too."

"Then...!"

Shuichi and Kaede walk in, and Kokichi introduces Makoto as his boyfriend, and that becomes one of his more consistent lies, alongside "My organization has a lot of people" and "I'm enjoying the killing game." He regularly calls Makoto his boyfriend, saying things like "Don't talk to my boyfriend like that!" and "Miu, are you accusing my boyfriend? (insert extreme, off-the-wall insult)" He still pairs off with Gonta a lot, and if Makoto ever expresses curiosity or concern about what they're up to, he'll make some joke about Makoto being jealous.

Heaven help Makoto if there's ever a situation where both he and Kokichi don't have an alibi, because Kokichi will be like, "Oh my gosh, sweetie, we're both suspects! Hashtag CuteCoupleThings."

• you wake up on the morning of your birthday with approximately 50 message pings on your phone. they're all text messages from your girlfriend kaede- • one of the first things you read is "i'm so so sorry if i woke you up, but i needed to let you know that i'm thinking about you on this very special day... happy birthday my angel!" • the rest are all long, extensive messages about how much she loves and appreciates you, and how she's going to make this day memorable for you

• after getting ready for the day, she knocks on your door to come visit. she won't stop reminding you it's your birthday, making sure you feel the love you deserve • it's clear that she's been planning out what she wants to do to surprise you for literal months now • she planned a surprise party at her place that she's about to take you to, one with all your mutual friends that she's planned the events, catering, and activities for • "don't worry hon... i'm sure you'll love what's to come." she gives you a swift wink and kisses your cheek. • when you two arrive at kaede's place, you get surprised by all of your friends and a well decorated living room, kitchen, and hallway • "surprise! i thought i'd plan this out for you so i could make your day extra special... i love you so much, y/n. please never forget how much you mean to me, and to everyone else." • the rest of the day, kaede showers you with a ton of physical affection and makes sure everything goes according to plan. she even baked the cake from scratch and made sure to decorate it in a personable way for you :') • "okay look... i know the cake doesn't look professionally made but it's made with love" she laughs and she gives you a warm hug. the cake is actually really tasty, despite the slightly lopsided look <3

Kissing (Rating - T)

Here's a short InuKag drabble I wrote today. I was gonna post it for WIP Wednesday but I ended up considering it finished. Oh, well! This one was inspired by @shinidamachu and her campaign to reclaim the first kiss attempt as a proper InuKag moment.

Kissing did not come naturally into Inuyasha's thoughts. Having grown up without much parental love, and even less romantic prospects, he didn't know if it ever would. He knew about kissing, of course. People did it all the time. Spouses, lovers, parents and their children, people even kissed their pets. But he'd never kissed anyone before – at least that he could remember. He'd definitely never been described as what one might call particularly loving.

But that day, in that moment, when Kagome had yelled in his face and made a big deal about her appearance – which he'd stopped thinking about if he was being honest – and whether he hated her – was she stupid? Why would he protect her and let her see his human form if he hated her?! - it did enter his mind. As swiftly and suddenly as this spitfire girl had come into his life, he found himself drawn to show her how she made him feel.

Her face was just so close. So perfectly shaped into that cute angry huff she got. They were way too close and he could suddenly think of nothing he wanted more than to lean in the extra few inches and learn what her lips would feel like pressed against his.

And why shouldn't he do it? He should totally do it. Just a little. To see if he even liked it. Who knows? It might be gross. Overrated. It'd be easy enough to find out.

He'd already told her she smelled good, so shouldn't he be more open? More honest about what he'd been feeling for her lately? She wouldn't stop going on about Kikyou, and it would at the very least be an effective way to shut her up. Right?

He grabbed her hand as gently as he could, tired of hearing her tirade. Hell, it hurt to hear she still didn't trust him after he'd bared his damn heart to her on his human night! Her eyes conveyed nothing but confusion at his action. Clearly she hadn't expected it. Yeah, well that made two of them, to be honest.

“You have it wrong...”

The second time he tried was admittedly way later than he'd meant it to be. Kagome was clearly not ready for kissing yet the first time, and he wanted to respect that. He did. Even if it drove him crazy sometimes! But hearing her reiterate her promise right before the final battle, well... It pulled at a deep-rooted longing in his chest. She wasn't going to leave him, even for her own safety. She wanted to stay with him forever. He wanted to stay with her forever. That's what people called marriage, right? So if he was proposing, he should kiss her too, right?

He wanted to. He wanted to so badly... He took her hand, just like last time. She still looked surprised, but not in the same way. She almost looked... expectant? And her hand was reciprocating his hold, just slightly, if not a little sweaty, showing her anxiety.

“Then, if that's what you want... I swear on my life to protect you.”

Kagome's giggle rang in his senses as Inuyasha nibbled at her ear, pressing her up against the outer wall of Kaede's hut. She'd been back with him for three days and he swore it was impossible to keep his hands off her. He'd never figured himself for the kind of man who would be this insatiable just to kiss his woman, but here they were, laughing in hushed voices and stealing touches when they were supposed to be working.

“Y'know,” Kagome grinned, returning his affections by kissing at his neck, “You'd better cut that out, cuz if you don't stop soon, I won't let you stop at all.”

Inuyasha groaned, dipping his head to press their lips together in one last taste before he had to let her go. “Don't remind me I have to travel out of province today... If I back out, that lech will catch on and never let us hear the end of it.”

“You better get going so we can afford our own home quickly, then.”

“Yeah,” he sighed in resignation. “Yeah, you're right.”

His wife waved him goodbye with far too much amusement cheer for his liking, and to his credit he did make it a few steps away from her... But then he cursed and rushed back to sweep her up into another deep kiss, eliciting more laughter from the woman now back in his arms.

“Just saying goodbye properly,” he growled.

She nodded through the kisses before managing to speak. “Come home soon, Inuyasha.”

“Yeah. I'll be back home before you know it.”

you were with shuichi in the library for a project.

this time around, you actually got to choose your partner. because kokichi looked like he was going to choose someone else other than you, you quickly snatched shuichi before he was taken ; guaranteeing a good grade.

kokichi, actually, was pining for you. but he didn’t wanna seem too desperate, since you’d teased him the day before for being clingy.

after you and shuichi made arrangements, kokichi approached you asking if you were with shuichi already — your answer being yes.

he tried everything from guilt tripping to fake about - to - cry - watery eyes to make you change your partner from shuichi to him. but your decision was final, mostly not wanting shuichi to think you changed your mind because of something he did.

so, kokichi decided to make sure you two weren’t doing anything other than working. so he watched from behind a bookshelf in the little gap between the books.

you and shuichi spoke in hushed tones, working side by side in close proximity.

even worse ( to kokichi at least ), you seemed so happy.

not miffed or annoyed like you were most of the time with kokichi, even if it was just playful.

kokichi felt anger boiling up. especially when shuichi's hand grazed over yours in that annoyingly gentle manner of his.

you both looked like a couple to anyone who passed by, which by the way, wasn’t much since it was sort of late in the day.

probably the only reason why no one caught kokichi being a creep —

anyways, he was pissed. but that pissed off mindset slowly began letting in some other thoughts - mostly of insecurity.

what did he do wrong? why didn’t you ask him first to be partners? is he overthinking? why are you smiling like that? why don’t you smile like that around him? why was he - that stupid, dumb detective - better?

kokichi left with muddled thoughts, as the sound of you and shuichi laughing at something echoed in his ears.

for the next couple of days, kokichi ignored you and went to kaede to hang out. “take out two birds with one stone,” he’d thought to himself.

your expressions of confusion sparked a pang of guilt, but kokichi stomped them down. you could go be with shuichi for all he cared.

you gave up the day after that, going to shuichi for company.

and that went on for half a week, until kokichi decided to confront you.

he knocked on your dorm room and waited. when your face appeared after the door creaked open, you were met with kokichi’s expressionless face.

“can we talk?”

you let him inside, and he cut to the chase.

“are you cheating on me with shuichi?”

you’re just … kind of shocked he would propose that idea. of course, you deny it.

kokichi shrugs. “oh really? well you two are being so awfully mushy with each other i just figured that maybe you both were making out behind my back! or worse!”

“the fu - ” you rolled your eyes, thinking that maybe this was just him seeking attention again or just some prank to make you feel guilty so that he could get something in return.

but another look at his face made you rethink that. this wasn’t a lie. he was really serious.

“kokichi. i would never cheat on you.”

“well, you looked soooo much happier with that bozo! you might as well, go on, go hook up with shuichi! i know you want to!”

you scoffed unintentionally. “you really think that low of me? are you kidding me, kokichi?!”

he raises his voice. then you raise your voice. both sides make ( some ) valid points, yours accusing kokichi of being a crap head and kokichi accusing you of being gushy and kissy over shuichi.

then the more hurtful stuff comes out. things that anger had coated that just come out for no reason, just to be able to hurt the other person and stop the fight for a momentary break.

“i don’t even know why i dated you in the first place, you’re ugly and you have a shitty personality!! even kaede looks better than you!!!”

silence. the most choking sound when applied in certain situations.

kokichi’s eyes widened as he replayed what he’d said.

that big bullshit comment that made the firing stop.

he saw tears forming in your eyes. “so, all those times where you told me i was the most beautiful in your eyes was all a lie, huh?” you said bitterly, shoving back a sob from escaping your mouth. not now. “go … just go away. i don’t wanna see your face ever again.”

Rantaro isn’t dumb and has had many girls like him before so he’ll be quick to catch on. He doesn’t mind of course, and once he’s sure he returns the feelings he’ll probably confess or .. wait for you to confess. It really depends on the kinda person you are and if you seem like the kinda person who’d want to confess first. He’s a considerate guy after all.

Kaede doesn’t catch on I’ll be honest she’s oblivious, she just doesn’t have a lot of experience in this department. She might ask if you’re hitting on her a couple times but if you say no she just believes you tbh lol but she will take notice to how nice you are to her and she appreciates it.

Ryoma doesn’t catch on, he’s not an idiot it’s mainly due to his self loathing tbh, he cannot fathom the idea of somebody liking him romantically for so many reasons. He doesn’t understand why you’re so nice to him and gush over him and his talent, but he can’t help but get flustered about it.

Kirumi is smart enough to catch on but it’s more so of a sneaking suspicion rather than her being absolutely sure. She is pretty straight forward with you though and asks you if she’s looking too into things or not.

Angie will surely catch on! After all, she has atua on her side! She may not be able to notice but he sure will and will guide her towards you! She will debate asking you out for awhile, since she’s the kinda person that wants to date “the one” so she’s sitting for awhile deciding if you are truly her soulmate.

Tenko will always get flustered by your compliments and how you are but she doesn’t really notice you like her. It’s probably because she’s too caught up in being embarrassed and flustered to honestly notice something like that. Though she’s pretty similar in this manner, she does not approach you about her feelings.

Miu notices, but she’s not sure what it is. She’s unsure if you just see her as a friend or if you see her as more and it seriously pisses her off! However she loves your compliments so she does things in order to get more from you like making new inventions. Eventually though she gets sick of hiding her feelings and yells at you for making her feel these emotions, and demands you tell her if you return her feelings at all.

Gonta doesn’t notice things like this, he will take note you seem to appreciate him and that the two of you are very close at the very least but he doesn’t suspect you like him. He isn’t sure how to figure that out honestly, gonta doesn’t even realize his own feelings for awhile but once he finally does he’s quick to confess them to you. He can’t really keep a secret from you anyway.

Oh boy, kokichi catches on. He’s not an idiot and is easily able to catch on to other peoples feelings if they’re obvious enough and you’re certainly obvious with your constant compliments and gushing. He honestly wonders if you even bother trying to hide it or if you’re being obvious on purpose. In any event, he waits for you to make the first move, if you take too long though he goes for it.

Kaito won’t catch on, in case you haven’t noticed he’s not the brightest guy around. He will sense a closeness between you two, and there are times he wonders if you return the feelings he shares for you, but he doesn’t really.. think you do…? Yknow? Like he’s just kinda oblivious to it.

Kiibo is completely new to this stuff. He will sense something is off with you, and that you definitely interact with him differently than you do with the others, but he doesn’t suspect it’s cause you like him or anything. He’s certainly not dumb but he can be a stereotypical robot that has trouble understanding how people feel at times.

Maki is oblivious to your feelings even if you’re extremely obvious about it. Maki is far too focused on her own feelings and trying to hide them, since she hates these feelings she’s having. She doesn’t completely understand them, either.

Himiko doesn’t really catch on I’ll be honest she probably just thinks that the two of you are good friends and she’s stuck in a friendzone and she has no idea how to get out of it.

But she couldn't stop you. You were too determined and didn't listen to a word she said as you went ahead.

But, of course, you failed.

"Y/N, are you okay?"

You didn't have time to reply.

"I gotta try again..."

You muttered to yourself. And you tried once more, only to get injured this time. Kaede quickly grabbed your arm and shook you a bit.

Wow, what a determined idiot you are! As she observed your desperate attempts, she believed you would give up soon. However, you kept pushing forward. Even when exhaustion set in, you refused to quit. Unfortunately, you ended up getting injured. She couldn't help but let out a sigh.

"Stop it, you fool. It's pointless. You're not getting anywhere with this."

She expressed. Yet, your determination was unwavering. You yearned to escape so badly. One more try couldn't hurt, right? At least, that's what you thought. Oh dear, it hurts so much. Maki just stared at you with an annoyed expression. She approached you.

Hello! As promised to @rubberduckyrye, here are some of my notes I got about my social psychology class, about leadership! (And of course I thought of V3. Of course. So I'm sharing the ones that could be linked to it x)

(Please keep in mind that those datas were extracted from social experiments in real life, not a killing game tho xD)

There's four "main" types of leadership:

Authoritarian (like in the army)

Transactional (preferably one for a short period of time or objective; this one is quite literally, a transaction. You do this task, you get this reward. It's not a long-term option)

Transformative (This one is the most looked after in companies: it's one that focus on changing things for the better, helping employees too in the process, but also it's looking for long-terms solutions and practice. The one that can motivate others, and help employees with their problems)

And lastly the "let it be", a type of leadership that let the "employees" -keep in mind those experiments were done in companies' settings- do what they want and doing much about it.

First of all, it's good to know that the leadership authoritarian is less performant than the transactional, or the transformative. But it's still WAY BETTER than the "let it be"! To give a hierarchy:

"let it be" < authoritarian < transactional < transformative.

(Again, in a company's setting. But I think it would work best in a killing game too, since everyone have to collaborate for a long term objective, leaving, when there's one actual traitor in their group)

Kaede and Kokichi (because I am still talking about V3, of course!) both tried -Kaede... more or less- a transformative leadership. Which, good idea! The problem being that Kaede also took some major part of the "let it be" type as well. Asides from the Death Road of Despair, and when she asked Miu for help, she pretty much didn't let the others contribute.

Kokichi too; well he let Miu, Gonta and maybe a bit Shuichi contribute, but after the first trial there's not a lot of people willing to listen to him asides the first two I mentionned.

Angie in chapter 3, tried an authoritarian leadership. Which... works, until the authority figure isn't respected (or feared) and people start doing whatever they want again. (And the problem with her, is that she only was respected by half of the class to begin with. It was bond to fail)

And all three of them struggle with the notion to let others than their allies do the work for the group (which, in a killing game is understandable. There's a mastermind lurking around) but it doesn't help the overall cohesion, conflicts in the group happens because "it's always the same doing the things" (in a company setting anyway.)

An annoying thing too, is that once a leader is designated, all the others around are like "oh cool, they'll do all the work and I can chill" only doing things if the leader actually tell them to. In a company setting (or in a group project...) no problem. In a killing game on the other hand...

The followers have the tendency to take the values of their leader in mind when taking decisions; in a company, it's seen as a HR employee avoiding to recruit women because he knows his superior is mysogynist. In the killing game, it's seen when Kaede declare they're all friends, and despite the murders that happens, everyone claim this mentality. (Claim. Not necessary follow... *look at the murders*)

Because yes, having people with differents values/goals (i.e: the mastermind working against them) obviously doesn't help the group.

And then, interestings things are seen.

It has been shown in the experiments, that the one stepping up to be the leader, isn't always the most qualified for the job.

Not only that, but people that chose their leader doesn't necessary makes the right choice, and prefer to have someone they like in charge, they are biased.

Looks familiar to anyone?

And now the most fascinating thing:

If no real leader (recognized, followed by everyone or the biggest majority and most importantly: DOING A GOOD JOB) is there, that's when a scapegoat is "designed".

You know, the one that everyone claim to be the source of all problems (the "villain") the one that get ignored (even when they are BLEEDING) the one that can get all their hard work for the group overlooked, even when said-work help to end the crisis? (AKA, the killing game?)

Hm, wonder who that is in V3!

On a lighter note, homor is a great idea in leadership. Studies showed that a joking leader eased the tensions in the group, and help motivate people to go forwards.

'Ouma said he's enjoying being bullied (to Monokuma in Chapter 2)- that's all just a part of his mastermind plan, so it makes no sense at all that he'd complain about bullying in Chapter 4's trial.'

Well. First thing is first: he lies, rather often, so using words out of context to 'prove' he 'wants bullying all the time' is just... backwards. Especially since he's sarcastic at times- and what's more, he is so in that same scene, when he turns around to be like 'oh did you hear that? I'm just talking to myself' after saying something about not cooperating in plain sight (go figure why he'd have things made that remove security cameras). And it turns out... he had said what is important to the group's survival. Of course he wants to maintain enough distance with his mask in order to put on his mastermind-y airs, but he also wants to communicate things and be taken seriously.

Second, you'll know by Chapter 5 that he does this shit as a means to an end, but this behaviour also goes hand-in-hand with the childish way he acts in other modes, too. He maintains a similar kind of neurosis, not letting people in on himself, holding back on his emotions, et cetera. Hence, why it's necessary to point out that in fact, he may have been hated even outside of the game, and that this tendency carries over into the main game. Where it becomes apparent, that from the time he announces himself as a 'liar' and 'Supreme Leader' (whatever reasons he has for doing that, that's up in the air), people have been biased against him even when he's serious. This is something we can see play out as early as the Death Road of Despair- he's visibly very upset at Kaede forcing the group over and over, but Tenko tells him he's being 'selfish'.

Also... funny expression to make when you're totally unserious, huh.

So in point of fact, there is a reasonable amount of ambiguity as to how much of 'he wants bullying(tm)' plays into his plan. Sure, he might 'use himself as a target' to change the mood - like in the dining hall in Chapter 1 - but it's reasonable to suggest he prefers when that's on his terms, and that he doesn't want it all the time. That's a fairly simple conclusion, and doesn't take away his motives either.

On the first day that you guys met, you were a bit too ‘clingy’.

It was odd, but she just assumed that you were just being overly friendly and acted like that with everyone.

Well, she didn’t exactly see you interact with anyone else but her.

In the morning, you were always standing at the door of her dorm room.

“Good morning Kaede! I see you’re ready to head to the dining hall, we should go there together!”

“Er…How long have you been standing here?”

The odd thing about it is that you seemed to not notice anything wrong with the way you acted.

“You don’t see anything weird about that?”

That’s when Kaede stopped walking, all of the alarms went off in her head.

“SLEEP?” Kaede cut you off once she heard that you watch her sleep.

“Not only are those things you just mentioned you weren’t there for. But, sleep?! What the fuck…?”

“Of course I watch you sleep, doesn’t everyone watch people rest?”

She looked up at you, stepping away slowly.

He turned around as he saw you standing right behind him with a big grin on your face.

Kiyo looked behind you to see that you quite literally used a screwdriver to unscrew the door off.

“Anyways, what are you doing?”

He knew he couldn’t actually tell you what he was doing, that would fuck up his entire plan.

But, he was very aware of your obsession with him, so perhaps you could help him.

“Hm, well Y/N, I’m working on an ‘experiment’ with these floorboards. I’m trying to see if they’re are capable of harming a human being.”

“Of course they’re capable of harming people, Kiyo. I’m not stupid. Tell me the truth.

Gosh darn it, he really did think that excuse would work with you.

It felt like his only option was to tell you the truth, if you didn’t want to help afterwards, he could just kill you.

“If you insist, I shall give you the truth, I’m setting up a murder trap.”

It wasn’t completely morally correct to stay and help, but you stalking him proved that you barely have morals.

Got this after Halloween, but spooky season forever!!

Toru Kirishima x Reader

Although he had come to Yaeka’s school dozen of times now, Kirishima still felt awkward every time. The small fixtures and space intended for children made him look like a giant, coupled with their shining enthusiasm an innocent, made him feel more out of place than ever.

Especially today, since it was Halloween.

Kirishima had to pass no less than 5 fairy princesses to get to Yaeka’s class, who was having a Halloween party. Parents & guardians were invited to attend; and since Yaeka’s father couldn’t attend (much to his silent disappointment) Kirishima was to act as her stand in.

He arrived at the classroom, dressed in his ‘normal person’ costume, and was greeted by the parents who recognized him from pick up. Sara and Kaede also come up to see him, excited to show him their costumes.

“Kirishima-san!” Sara exclaimed in her usual enthusiasm. “Look, look! Do you like my costume??” The tag on the collar of her puppy costume jiggle as she jumped up and down.

“Ah, of course. I almost thought they brought a real dog in her. Makes me wish I had some treats for you.” Sara beamed with an excited ‘woof, woof’. “And, Kaede-chan, you’re a mermaid?”

“Y-Yes…” The typically shy girl answered. “M-Mermaids are my favorite books.”

“Well, it looks good.” Kirishima told her, which made her smile.

“Kirishima-san.” The yakuza looked up to see Yaeka coming over. Her cat costume still as cute as when she left the house today. “Here. I saved this for you.” Kirishima blinked when she handed him a small pumpkin plate with a cupcake on it. “Chocolate is Kirishima’s favorite.”

He smiled softly at Yaeka’s gesture. Then took the cupcake before immediately biting into it. “Wow. These are good.”

“[Y/N]-sensei made them.” His little cat replied. As well as explain that she made vanilla ones, which she had had.

‘Oh…’ Kirishima thought. That was right. He hadn’t seen Yaeka’s teacher yet. He hadn’t seen her much since that originally met that afternoon after she was hired.

He scanned the room quickly and spotted her by the snack table. Dressed like a princess and handing out sweets to the needy. “I’m gonna go thank her for the cupcake. You play with your friends some more, then we’ll go home.”

“OK!” Sara answered for Yaeka, and was already dragging her off to play.

He weaved his way through the crowd. Before he could introduce himself quietly, [Y/N] spotted him and announced, “Kirishima-san! How nice to see you again!”

“[Y/N]-san…” He replied back bashfully. He still wasn’t use to people being excited to see him.

“It’s nice of you to come to the party and help out. Or are you just here for the free candy?” She teased. To which Kirishima had to smile.

“Oh, I’ll go just about anywhere there’s free food.” That’s basically how he joined the yakuza.

[Y/N] smiled and handed him a juice from a tiny, paper cup covered in ghosts. “You didn’t wear a costume? I know it wasn’t in the invitation, but adults were welcome to dress up too.”

“It’s not really my thing.” Kirishima didn’t have the heart to tell her that his outfit was as much of a costume as anything for him. “But look at you. It’s….a lot.”

“Oh. I don’t do anything half way.” [Y/N] replied with a chuckle. Adjusting her crown. “I let the kids pick and princess/queen/royalty theme won out. There were a few votes for ‘dinosaur’ but that felt a little ageist on the back end.” Kirishima choked on his juice at the joke. Trying not to laugh completely.

“Well it…look nice. You look nice I mean.”

“Oh,” [Y/N] replied with a blush on her cheeks, “thank you.”

Kirishima smiled back, and was about to say something, when he felt a smile tug on her sleeve. “Kirishima. It’s time to go home.”

“Oh. Right.” He replied to Yaeka’s soft prodding. Then turned to [Y/N] and said, “I suppose we should get going.”

“Of course,” she replied. Then seemed to have a light bulb moment before she quickly fussed at the dessert table. “Here. Take these with you.” She said as she offered Kirishima a plate of cupcakes. “Yaeka says you have a lot of people visit or stay over with your family. You should take them home and share. Sweets are always better with friends!”

The way she smiled when she said that, Kirishima was sure she meant it.

“Thanks. It’s more than those bums deserve.” [Y/N] giggled. Then waved them off as they left for home.

Kirshima still gave the cupcakes to the guys. He wasn’t a monster.

But he did keep one more chocolate one for himself. Enjoying it as he thought about Halloween decorations and the pretty princess who made them.
