Hello! Thank you for your service omg ur single handedly carrying Sylus nation‼️🙏🏼
Can I request a scenario where reader (who isn’t MC) has been a long term situationship of Sylus, like they’re very much in love but refuse to commit because of the dangerous nature of their work in the N109 zone, but reader really hopes they’ll end up together, only for all her hopes to come crashing down when suddenly MC shows up and Sylus becomes really neglectful towards reader, only prioritising MC until one day he doesn’t accompany reader to one onichynus’s deals and it goes horribly wrong with the reader getting hurt/abducted. Angst to fluff pls a happy ending with Sylus coming to his senses 😮💨
when you become his second priority

The night sky over Onychinus’s sprawling cityscape was studded with stars, casting a subtle glow through the towering high-rises.
Sylus had suggested the two of you head out for a mission, a deal with some Onychinus contacts. As usual, you couldn’t resist tagging along, always thrilled to be close to him in his world.
Sylus, tall and intimidating as ever, glanced down at you with a glimmer of amusement in his red eyes. You could tell he was ready to take control of the situation like he always did, exuding confidence and calm in a way that made you feel safe, even in the darkest parts of his world. He looked over at you, his eyes softening slightly as he murmured, “You ready, kitten?”
“Of course, I’m with you” you replied with a grin, bouncing a little as you slid into the passenger seat of one of his luxurious cars. Your bubbly energy was contagious; he always acted as if he wasn’t affected by it but you’d caught him smirking more than once.
Tonight, he rolled his eyes in mock exasperation but his hand settled on yours, holding it a little too long to be casual.
As he drove through the city, you admired the skyline, sharing random stories about your day and small, happy details about your favorite things.
Sylus listened, nodding occasionally, a slight smirk on his face, though his eyes stayed mostly on the road. At a red light, he finally turned, letting his gaze linger on you. “You know, sweetie, you’d be a lot safer if you didn’t join me on these things” he said, but there was a softness in his voice, a hint of protectiveness beneath his usual hard edge.
You gave a playful pout. “Then who’d keep you company and make you laugh?” you teased, reaching over to ruffle his hair lightly. Sylus gave an exaggerated sigh, though you could see his lips twitch, fighting off a smile.
When you arrived at the Onychinus base, the atmosphere shifted. The bustling headquarters buzzed with energy and you could feel the tension as the meeting began.
Sylus’s demeanor turned serious, his attention sharp and unwavering as he led the deal. You watched him, entranced by his confidence and poise. His eyes, intense and calculating, scanned the room, noting every movement and gesture of those around him. It was moments like these that reminded you why he was so respected—and feared.
The deal itself moved forward without any issues but you stayed close, offering your support however you could. Sylus kept one arm loosely draped around you, like a silent reminder that you were his, his “kitten” in this dangerous world. Every now and then, he’d murmur a soft “Stay close, sweetie” his voice laced with the quiet authority you’d come to adore.
At one point, the meeting wrapped up and you were alone again with Sylus in the hallway leading back to the car. As you walked side-by-side, you took his hand, squeezing it gently and looked up at him with a playful grin. “See? We make a great team.”
Sylus chuckled lowly, his fingers tightening around yours. “Careful, kitten” he murmured, his voice dropping to a tone that sent a shiver down your spine. “I might just start believing that.”
He leaned closer, brushing his lips against your forehead with a rare tenderness that he’d only ever shown to you. Moments like these made you wonder if there was something deeper between you both. But for now, you were happy in this undefined space, enjoying his closeness, his rare softness and the way he let his guard down just enough to show you how much you meant to him.
For tonight, you were his and he was yours in the only way he knew how to be and as you laughed and chatted on the drive back, you couldn’t have known how precious that laughter would soon become.
the next morning the café was small and tucked into a quiet corner of the city, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in soft morning light and gave the place a warm, cozy glow.
You felt an excited shiver as Sylus guided you in, his hand on your lower back, a gentle but firm presence that never failed to make you feel special. The café wasn’t his usual scene but he seemed relaxed, perhaps indulging your love for quieter, more intimate places.
He glanced around, then met your eyes, his mouth quirking into a smirk. “This place…suits you” he murmured, pulling out a chair for you. “Sweet, but a little chaotic.”
You laughed, sticking your tongue out at him. “I’d say the same about you” you teased, settling into the chair. He rolled his eyes but took the seat opposite you, resting his elbows on the table, leaning in close. His gaze, as usual, felt intense, even as his expression softened.
“You’re in a bratty mood today, aren’t you?” he remarked, voice low and slightly teasing.
“Only because you make it so easy” you replied with a smile, reaching across the table to gently tap his hand. “So, what’s the plan? You’re the one who dragged me out here.”
His smirk grew, and without saying a word, he raised a finger to get the barista’s attention. When she arrived, he placed the most absurd order, one that left you wide-eyed: every single flavor of coffee they had on the menu. You tried to protest, laughing as you looked from him to the poor barista, but he only shrugged, looking unbothered.
“You said you always wanted to try them all” he said, leaning back in his seat, arms folded. “So go ahead. Indulge.”
“Oh my god, Sylus!” You felt a mix of embarrassment and excitement. “You know I was joking about that, right?”
He raised an eyebrow. “You don’t joke about things you want, kitten. Not with me.”
The coffees started arriving, filling up your small table with an assortment of steaming mugs, each one a different shade and aroma. Sylus watched as you eagerly tried each, laughing when you made a face at the overly bitter or strangely flavored ones and taking note of the ones that made you hum with satisfaction. Occasionally, he’d reach out, taking a sip of one of the cups himself, then giving you his quiet, amused approval if he liked it.
After a while, you found yourself leaning across the table, sharing sips from the same cup, your laughter mingling in the cozy warmth of the café. You watched him, noticing the rare moments where his features softened, and his usual guarded expression gave way to something gentler.
“Did you always know you’d be leading Onychinus?” you asked, a little more curious now that you’d settled into the warmth of the moment.
He leaned back, tracing the edge of his cup with one finger, his gaze drifting. “I didn’t know. But it wasn’t like I had a choice.” His eyes found yours again, something dark but honest in them. “The things you don’t choose often become the things you’re best at.”
You tilted your head, studying him. “Well, I’m glad you didn’t have a choice” you replied softly. “Otherwise, who’d be here buying me twenty coffees?”
He chuckled, a genuine laugh that you rarely heard. “You’d find some other poor fool, I’m sure” he said, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. But his hand moved to cover yours, his thumb brushing over your knuckles.
Just as you were about to respond, his phone buzzed, and his gaze darkened. He glanced at the screen, and for a split second, his expression changed—hardened into something unreadable. He sat up, pulling his hand away from yours and the warmth that had been between you seemed to evaporate in an instant.
You tried to catch his eye, feeling a flicker of unease. “Everything okay?”
“It’s just an…old friend” he muttered, voice suddenly cool and distant. He stood up, turning his back to you as he answered the call, his voice low and strained in a way you’d never heard before.
You couldn’t make out much of what he was saying, but you heard the shift in his tone—calculated, restrained, almost careful. It was a stark contrast to the teasing, soft-spoken Sylus you’d been with just moments before. He kept glancing out the window, one hand shoved deep in his pocket, the other clutching his phone tightly. His words became hushed, tense, as if he was guarding some important secret.
Your mind raced with questions but you pushed them down, trying to respect his privacy. Still, a pang of worry settled in your chest as he finally ended the call, his posture stiff as he turned back to you. The usual warmth in his eyes was absent, replaced by a distant, almost guarded look.
“Sorry about that” he said, his tone flat, almost dismissive, as he pocketed his phone.
You forced a smile, hoping to ease the sudden tension. “No problem. Everything okay?”
“Nothing to worry about.” He gave a faint smile but it didn’t reach his eyes. He seemed distracted and as much as you wanted to believe him, there was a nagging feeling that something had shifted.
It had been days since you’d last seen Sylus. The texts you’d sent were sparse on replies—short, curt answers that only seemed to grow colder each time. You told yourself he was busy, wrapped up in some new mission for Onychinus but an uneasy feeling had settled deep in your chest. You remembered the way he’d brushed you off in the café after that mysterious phone call, the way he’d shut down, closing himself off as if you were suddenly a stranger.
With the next Onychinus deal approaching, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. Usually, Sylus would be the one preparing you, going over every little detail so that you’d be safe. But this time, there had been nothing—no message, no warning, no instructions. The silence weighed on you, suffocating, until finally, you couldn’t bear it anymore.
You found yourself standing outside his office door, hesitating. The hall was eerily quiet, an atmosphere that felt darker than it had ever been. You pushed the door open slowly, your heart pounding with a mixture of hope and dread.
Inside, Sylus stood near his desk, leaning in close to a woman you’d never seen before. She had an aura of quiet confidence, her gaze sharp, as if she were sizing him up even as they talked. Their heads were close together, too close. She said something, her tone low and laced with a teasing edge and Sylus chuckled—a sound that sent a chill down your spine. It was the kind of laugh he used to share with you.
You swallowed, forcing yourself to step forward. “Sylus?” your voice cracked, the warmth you usually brought into his space muted by the weight of everything unsaid.
Sylus straightened, his expression darkening the moment he saw you. The easy humor that had filled his face just seconds before vanished, replaced by a cold, impassive mask. The woman beside him glanced at you, her eyes glinting with a kind of curiosity, as though she were sizing you up, wondering what your place in Sylus’s life could possibly be.
“You’re busy” you managed to say, fighting to keep your tone light. “I just thought—I thought we could talk about the next mission.”
He looked at you for a long, silent moment, his gaze empty of the warmth you’d come to expect, replaced by an iciness that felt almost cruel. “I didn’t ask you to come here” he said, his voice low and cutting.
You took a step back, stunned. “Sylus, I…I just wanted to help. You always said I could be useful—”
“You should learn to know your place” he interrupted, his words sharp enough to cut through your heart. He didn’t look away, didn’t flinch. His gaze was steely, indifferent, as though you were nothing more than an inconvenience, a shadow he hadn’t meant to let linger.
It felt like the floor had fallen out from under you. “My place?” you echoed, trying to keep your voice steady even as it threatened to break. “Sylus, what’s going on? You’ve been distant… I thought we—” You stopped yourself, swallowing back the words, but the damage was done.
Sylus’s gaze flicked to the woman beside him, who watched the exchange with an amused smirk, her arms crossed as if she were enjoying every moment of this. He turned back to you, his eyes devoid of any kindness, any of the softness he’d shown you only days ago. “You thought wrong.”
Your throat tightened and the warmth that had once filled your shared moments now felt like a distant memory, slipping through your fingers. You forced yourself to nod, to keep your head up even as your heart shattered with each second of his cold stare. Without another word, you turned and left, not wanting him to see the tears that threatened to spill over, the silent pain you’d carry alone as you walked away from the one person who’d ever made you feel whole.
The drive home felt like a blur, headlights and streetlights passing in a haze as you wiped away tears that wouldn’t stop. Your hands gripped the steering wheel, knuckles turning white, as your mind raced with everything that had just happened. It was like you couldn’t make sense of it; every memory of Sylus’s familiar warmth and teasing words felt out of reach, replaced by his cold, indifferent face and that harsh tone. His words, “Know your place” echoed in your head, hitting you harder each time you thought of them. You couldn’t understand. Had you pushed him too far? Had he been pretending all along?
The question lingered, gnawing at you as the car rolled down the empty roads leading home. By the time you reached your place, you were exhausted, the adrenaline replaced by a deep, hollow ache.
The next morning, after another sleepless night, you found yourself staring at his contact on your phone, debating whether to call him. The memory of his sharp tone still stung but the confusion was unbearable. You couldn’t just let things stay like this.
Finally, you pressed call, holding your breath as the phone rang. When he picked up, his voice was casual, almost dismissive, as if the tension from yesterday had never happened.
“Yeah?” he answered, sounding distracted. There was no warmth, but there was none of that anger, either.
“Hey” you managed, your voice wavering slightly. “I… I wanted to talk about yesterday.”
“Yesterday?” he repeated, his tone barely interested. “Is something wrong?”
Your heart sank. He was acting like it hadn’t happened at all, like you were the one imagining things. “I just thought—after what you said, I thought maybe we could… clear things up.”
He let out a long sigh, almost like he was bored. “Look, I have things to take care of. If that’s all, I have to go.”
Your grip tightened around the phone, and you felt a chill run through you as he continued talking, casual, unaffected, as if he hadn’t torn into you less than 24 hours ago. He ended the call with a brief “Take care” leaving you standing there with the silence of the empty line.
It was like a stranger had replaced him overnight and the warmth you’d felt was now a painful memory, drifting further out of reach.
The night of the Onychinus deal was bitterly cold and a dense mist clung to the riverbank, muting every sound but the rush of water. You had been hoping—secretly, quietly—that maybe Sylus would show up, that his absence would somehow break and you’d see him standing there with that familiar smirk, ready to tackle the mission together. But the minutes ticked by and the waiting grew heavier, settling like a weight in your chest until the deal began without him.
but in an instant things went horribly wrong, spiraling out of control faster than you could react. You held on as long as you could, fighting with everything you had, but there were too many of them and you were alone. A sharp, searing pain was the last thing you remembered before everything went black, the sound of rushing water filling your senses as you were tossed into the cold, merciless depths of the river.
When the news reached Sylus, it felt like a blow to the chest, robbing him of breath. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing—the thought of you alone, vulnerable, facing the dangers he’d promised to shield you from. His mind raced, replaying every interaction, every cold word he’d thrown at you and the realization clawed at him with an intensity he hadn’t expected. Guilt twisted in his stomach, a relentless ache, as he thought of the way he’d pushed you aside, how he’d let you walk away, hurt and confused and for what?
He moved quickly, barely registering the world around him as he reached the river, scanning the dark waters until he found you, still and pale, lying half-submerged on the riverbank. His heart pounded, a surge of panic piercing through his usual composure as he dropped to his knees, pulling you into his arms with a desperation he hadn’t felt in years.
“Kitten…” His voice cracked, the endearments he’d so easily tossed at you before now carrying a weight they’d never held before. He brushed damp hair from your face, his hands shaking as he checked for a pulse. Relief flooded him when he felt the faint, steady beat beneath his fingertips, but it did nothing to quell the terror that gnawed at him.
“Why the hell did you go alone?” he whispered, his voice trembling with guilt and grief. “You should have known better than to… God, this is all my fault.” He held you closer, pressing his forehead to yours as if his touch alone could bring you back from the brink. Regret crashed over him like a tidal wave, every moment he’d ignored you, every cold word he’d thrown at you haunting him as he realized just how deeply he’d driven you away.
“I’m so sorry, kitten” he murmured, the words spilling out, raw and unfiltered. “I was stupid. I was a fool. You didn’t deserve any of it.” His fingers brushed over your face, tracing the lines of your features as if committing them to memory and he swore to himself that he’d never let you go again.

Stray Kids + casual (fwb)
fwb!straykids x reader, angst, suggestive. no gender specified for reader (I think??). hyung line. Based on the song ‘Casual’ by Chappell Roan
notes: hi!! This is my first little bit of fan fiction in so long, so I hope you guys like it. I probably got a little carried away but this has been in my drafts for months and months. I’m sorta new into stray kids too so I hope this is okay. Thanks for reading!!
Bangchan:
“I thought you thought of me better; someone you couldn’t lose. You said ‘we’re not together’ so now, when we kiss, I have anger issues.”
It was confusing. The way he kissed you until he couldn’t breathe, how he pushed you up against the kitchen island as you wore his tshirt. This is how you spent most weekends. He’d come over and you’d watch movies together, cook together, catch up on what had happened during the week. And it was confusing as fuck. He’d make you feel so special; bringing you snacks (your favourites, even though you’d never explicitly said which ones you preferred), always cleaning up after you made a meal, truly seeming like he listened to whatever you said and asked about the other people in your life, and the sex. It wasn’t just sex, he put his heart and soul into it. Even in your past relationships, you’d never been taken care of like this before. Most of the time, it was easy to feel like you were dating him because of all this. But this wasn’t a relationship. He told you that himself.
He didn’t remind you of it often but, damn, did he choose his moments to remind you. When you’d watch a rom com and he’d make a comment about ‘wanting something like that in the future’; when you’d tell him about an argument your best friend had with their partner and he’d say ‘see, this is why I don’t date’; when he laid his head in your lap and let you stroke his hair before opening his phone to start texting another girl in front of you. It made you angry in a way that not a lot of other things could but you bit your tongue. If this was how you could keep him, even if it was casual, you’d do that.
“It’s hard being casual when I’m on the phone talking down your sister.”
It was another typical weekend together for the two of you. Doing completely domestic and relationship-y things while being reminded by the clench of your heart and the drop in your stomach that he wasn’t yours. This didn’t stop you from daydreaming about it, only being helped by the fact that you were both chilling watching a film while he spoke to his sister on the phone next to you as he drew patterns on your legs with his fingertips. You had become so entwined in each others’ lives; meeting small amounts of friends and speaking so much about family members, that it wasnt even strange when he turned to you with panic in his eyes and thrust his phone into your hands, “I don’t know what to say to her, she wants to speak to you!” And you had fallen so much that you put the phone to your ear and comforted his sister for the next 30 minutes as she cried to you about some asshole from a dating app that stood her up. All the while, Chan peppered appreciative kisses on your cheeks and played with your hair as he pulled you into his lap. But this was all just ‘casual’.
Lee Know:
“My friends call me a loser cause I’m still hanging around. I’ve heard so many rumours that I’m just a girl that you bang on the couch.”
You loved your friends—you did—but they did not encourage your delusions at all. “With all the love in the world, you’re an idiot…” you dropped your head down onto your hands as they rested on the tabletop, letting out a dramatic sigh, “he’s an asshole. Tell him to take you on a date for once and not just fuck you into his sofa!” Your other friends had heard this spiel before and you were currently going through it again with your best friend as you sat in the corner of the café. You were in no position to argue with her when you thought exactly the same, but you mumbled anyway, “…he does do it pretty good though.”
“Oh I give up!” She threw her hands in the air with mock annoyance (that definitely did not come from a valid place), “I just want him to treat you right. I know you joke but we can all see how much you like him and I’ll be damned if I let him break your heart”. Of course, she was talking about Lee Minho. There was no else she could be talking about, no one else you were currently ‘seeing’ (despite the façade you put on). This situationship was a complicated one and it had been that way for a while. Everyone—well, not everyone—knew you two were sleeping together. But this was college, everyone did that. What they didn’t know was how he was so caring and affectionate towards you during those times. You didn’t dare point that out to your friends though because they would quickly point out (and rightly so) that that affection only extended to sex, but that didn’t fit with the narrative you wanted so you kept your mouth shut on that one.
“I know you worry about me but I’m not stupid, I know we’re not together” you said, almost trying to convince yourself as well as them. Your best friend—the one you’d cried to countless times about him—looked at you with a sad smile on her face, “block his number then, go no contact. If you still want to sleep with him in a few weeks then be my guest, but see what a little bit of space does for you first.” It wasn’t a bad suggestion, even if the thought of not seeing as regularly as you currently did made you feel a little sick. With all your friends around you in agreement, you felt confident enough to pick up the phone and proceed with her request. “Okay, I guess that’s a good idea. How hard could it be?” That was until your phone dinged in your hand, and all your friends whipped their heads towards you. Your best friend started to shake her head but you couldn’t help it, quickly looking down and reading the text in front of you.
minho: u free tonight, babygirl?
You knew you were going to disappoint the friends currently sitting around you but you couldn’t stop yourself from replying within seconds, the plan to block him now completely forgotten.
Changbin:
“I know, ‘Baby, no attachment’ but we’re knee deep in the passenger seat and you’re eating me out. Is it casual now?”
He climbed up your body from where he had been kneeling between your legs in the footwell of his car, wiping the glisten from around his mouth on the back of his hand before he kissed you deeply. Your mind was blurry and your vision was the same, clinging onto his shoulders for dear life as he kissed you more and more feverishly. The passenger seat you were sat in was already reclined all the way back so he was laying on top of you as he kissed down your neck. “Bin…”, you started with no real plan of what you actually wanted to say because his presence always made your mind swim. He chuckled a little and smirked up at you as he carried on kissing your neck, “what’s wrong, baby?” You hated it when he called you that. It made the whole ‘no attachment’ rule so much harder, you could just crumple into his arms and stay there forever. It didn’t help matters that he used that word so liberally, almost like he was testing how attached to him he could make you. “We need to go back, they’re going to wonder where you are”, it was almost 2 in the morning and his flatmates would have definitely noticed he was gone by now. He gripped his hands around your hips, gently flipping you over so you sat on top of him (albeit cramped in the small space of the car). “I don’t care,” he carried on kissing down your bare chest. “I’m not done with you yet”.
When the two of you had these moments, it was hard to imagine that you weren’t together. He let his hands wander as he carried on speaking, roaming down your back and squeezing your ass, “they don’t know about you anyway”. There it was, there was the kicker that brought you back to reality. It always seemed to rear it’s ugly head. You couldn’t remember which one of you suggested this ‘no attachment’ rule and which one of you was stupid enough to agree but, just like your feelings for him, it always reappeared at the most unfortunate moments. Your back got a little straighter, not caring if he could sense the tension in your body, “n-no ‘course”.
“That came out harsher than I meant, I’m sorry”, he tried to run his hand gently across your cheek but you moved away, suddenly very aware that you felt this vulnerable while you sat naked on top of him. This happened from time to time too, the feeling of guilt and filth that washed over you. You knew he didn’t mean to make you feel like this intentionally but, regardless, you felt like his dirty little secret. “I’ve gotta get back anyway, I’ve got work early in the morning.” you mumbled, climbing off his lap and pulled your clothes back on quickly.
He met your eyes as soon as you spoke, slight panic in his own eyes that definitely didn’t match the way he’d so confidently wrapped your thighs around his head not too long before, “Oh…yeah no worries,” that was one thing you appreciated at least, he never argued once this came up. Even though you wanted him to—you wanted him to grab you and kiss you like you dreamed of, declaring his love for you and denouncing this fucking stupid arrangement you had. But that never came, and he always dropped you home, kissing your cheek before you hopped out of the car.
Hyunjin:
“Dumb love, I love being stupid. Dream of us in a year. Maybe we’d have an apartment and you’d show me off to your friends at the pier.”
It wasn’t like you were completely invisible to others in his life but you definitely blended into the background; something Hyunjin could conveniently brush off if one of his friends started asking too many questions. You didn’t go out together much in public (which you had convinced yourself was because of both of your study commitments and definitely not an indication that Hyunjin had commitment issues). This ‘arrangement’ you had going had lasted around five months before you started imagining Hyunjin having a more permanent place in your life; taking you out with his friends, going on day trips, even just having a drink together in a bar.
You weren’t in the same group of friends but your group and his would frequently go to the same parties; you had grown to regret that actually. That’s how you and Hyunjin met, drunk and dancing on each other before he pulled you to an empty bedroom upstairs. And that’s how you ended up standing against the wall, bass boosting in your chest and alcohol sloshing around in your cup, as you stared across the room at Hyunjin flirting with another girl. It wasn’t the first time you’ve had to watch him flirting with someone else at one of these stupid parties, but this time seemed worse for some reason.
Whether it was because he was all over her, because of the fantasies of the two of you running around your head, or because your best friend (who was the only one you had told about this hook-up-turned-situationship) was watching you out of her eye with pity on her face, you’d surprised both of you when you grabbed her hand and pulled her over to the beer pong table where Hyunjin’s friends were drunkenly shouting as they played. “Please don’t let me sleep with him tonight, I fucking hate him”, you said as you looked at her with pleading eyes. You both knew that wasnt entirely true but she nodded and you both promised that you’d stay away from him as she pushed in for the two of you to get in on the game of beer pong. Surprisingly, it proved to be quite the distraction. You’d probably been playing for 30 minutes before Hyunjin texted you.
hyunjin: meet me upstairs quickly? ;)
You showed your friend the text quickly and she took your phone from you before you could reply. Again, to your surprise, it seemed easy to carry on with your game and push him to the back of your mind for a while. That was until you had to excuse yourself to go to the toilet.
You swore to yourself that you weren’t going up to him. You were going upstairs to use the bathroom and that was it. Until you felt his hands on your waist and let yourself be pulled back against his chest at the top of the stairs, “fancy seeing you up here, pretty girl…”
The scent was familiar and your brain immediately surrendered as you followed him lovestruck into one of the empty rooms. You’d make good on your promise to your friend another time.

It has been 6 months since you and Vinnie first met. In those 6 months you both got super close and he has asked you to be his girlfriend. It still feels unreal to you.
Right now you are over at Vinnie's place. He is streaming in his stream room and you are in his other room laying on his bed. Just thinking about everything that has happened.
Flashback to 6 months ago
You and Giana have returned to the hotel lobby, you both were staying at. You still were blushing and gushing over the photos.
"I've met him. Ive actually met him" you said to Giana.
All she did was chuckled. She was very happy for you.
You posted the photo to your instagram story and tagged him on it. Not thinking he would actually see it. You put your phone away and you and Giana both made your way to the hotel room.
Once in the hotel room Giana went into the bathroom to take a quick shower. You were laying in the bed just looking over the pictures. In that moment you got a notification.
VinnieHacker replied to your story: It was nice meeting you today beautiful
Your heart stopped and you had to do a double take. You tried to calm your excitement. You waited at least 10 minutes to reply back.
After the 10 minutes have passed you send a quick reply.
It was nice meeting you too. Thank you for stopping to take a quick pic
A minute didn't even passed when Vinnie texted back.
I hope I'm not too forward but I would like to see you again. If you can would you like to meet up tomorrow?
You couldn't sleep the whole night. You were excited and nervous at the same time.
Night came and went and right now you are getting ready. You didn't want to go over the top, you didn't want to scare him away.
You were adding a few sprays of perfume when you heard a knock the door. You knew it was Vinnie. Last night while you two were messaging, you both discovered you are staying at the same hotel. He's only one floor above you.
You grabbed your purse and head to the door and opened it and there he was. Looking handsome as ever.
"Hi Vinnie." you smiled
He chuckled and kissed your cheek. "Hi beautiful, ready to go?" he hold out his arm.
You giggled and took it. The whole day was you and Vinnie getting to know each other more. He showed you around Paris.
He did get stopped a few times from fans and you would step aside to not get in the way.
The night was coming to an end. Something you and Vinnie both didn't want. When you and Vinnie were in the elevator of the hotel, you spoke up.
"I would invite you to my room but I'm pretty sure Giana is there"
He took your hand. "We could go up to mine if like"
You blushed and nodded. "O o okay"
Vinnie lead you both to his room.
You walked into the room standing in front of the bed while he closed the door. He came up and wrapped his arms around you.
You turned around to face him and he moved his hands to your face.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked
All you could do was nod. He let out a soft chuckle.
"Baby as much as I'm dying to feel your lips on mine, I wont do so not until I hear you give me verbal consent."
He smiled and looked into your eyes lovingly.
"So I will ask again. May I kiss you baby?"
"Yes Vinnie"
And without a second thought his lips were on yours. As you both kept kissing you both fell back on the bed. Vinnie was on top of you and moved his hand to the buttons of your blouse.
"Can I baby?"
Once again you nodded. He chuckled and kissed your neck.
"What did I say about your words baby?"
You whimpered. "Yes Vinnie, please. Anything you wanna do yes."
Vinnie slowly un did the buttons of your blouse. Vinnie did not want to rush any of this. He didn't want this to be a simple fuck. What Vinnie wanted was to make love. Make love like he never did before.
As Vinnie got to the last button of your blouse he took it off and dropped it to the floor. He lean down kissed your collarbone.
His hands moved to unclasp your bra.
He took it off and kisses your breast. "You're so perfect" he murmured.
"So perfect. My perfect pretty girl" he kissed and praised you.
He went to pull down the waistband of your skirt and panties looking at you for permission.
"Yes Vinnie yes." you moaned
Vinnie kissed your lips once more before pulling them off and throwing them somewhere across the room.
He put your legs over his shoulder and kissed your thighs whispering praises at you. He licked and sucked at your clit.
You pulled him up by his shirt and kissed him, tasting yourself on his tongue.
In between kisses you spoke. "It's not fair Im fully naked while you still are fully clothes"
He chuckled. "Undress me baby"
And within minutes Vinnie's clothes were scattered across the room. You and Vinnie kept kissing and touching each other.
In one swift moved you moved on top of Vinnie and sinked down on him. Vinnie let out a moan and was holding onto your hips. You threw your head back and started to move up and down on him.
"Oh baby you look so perfect on top of me. You're so beautiful, so perfect"
You were so close to coming Vinnie could feel it. "Is my pretty girl close? Come on beautiful. Cum all over my cock. Can you do that for me pretty girl?"
That is all it took for you. You came all over Vinnie's dick. You pulled out and fell onto the bed cuddling closer to Vinnie.
He smiled and kissed the top of your head whispering praises.
You looked up at him. "Wait you didn't get to finish-"
Vinnie shushed and kissed you. "This wasn't about me pretty this was about you that all I care about"
End of flashback
You were taken out of your thoughts by a light slap on your ass. You looked up at Vinnie. He chuckled and got onto the bed with you.
"What are you thinking of princess" He said giving you a kiss on the lips
You giggled, "Just how much I love you baby"
He pulled you on top of him and kissed your neck.
"I love you more princess. Being with you is like a dream."

EARLIER THAT DAY
SPENCER AGNEW SENT YOU A MESSAGE ON TEAMS!
Outside of Spencer's office, you linger for a moment, trying and failing to pre-plan out this whole conversation in your head. You watch him as he stares at one of his screens, headphones on.
How do you ask if things are weird without making them so? Sucking it up, you rap your knuckles against the frame, announcing yourself. He hears you through the massive headphones over his ears, pulling them to sit around his neck as he turns to look.
“Hey.”
“Hi.”
You pause, rocking on your heels before entering and plopping down in the seat beside your friend—the one that you’ve spent hours just silently watching him cut and splice and sync audio in. Your eyes scan the space as if it could've changed all that much in the past few weeks. Spencer goes back to looking over a final edit for a games video.
“Feels like it’s been ages since I've been in here.”
He nods, “Yeah, feels that way.”
“I’ve been a little caught up recently, with work and stuff.”
“Stuff,” he sighs, then, perhaps a little snippily, adds, “Yeah, I've seen your Instagram.”
He still isn’t looking at you. You wince.
You ask what you came here to, hoping it’ll help smooth things over, “You wanna get dinner tonight?”
Finally, thankfully, he looks at you. “Yeah?”
“Then you can meet Cooper, if you want.”
“Cooper…” for an unknown reason, he seems to clam up a tiny bit once again. His eyes go back to the screen, typing notes for the final polish, “That’s the guy?”
You try to approach it as if you're setting out cheese in a mouse trap, hoping to lure him in, “Yeah, I think the two of you will get along really well. You’re a lot alike.”
You play a little dirty, “Wanna see a picture of his cat?”
That draws his attention. He shrugs, but you know you've got him. “Sure.”
You pull your phone out, scrolling to find a recent photo of her. Leaning in close to show him, your shoulders brush. “This is Marty.”
Spencer gives in further, smiling a little as he says, “That is a pretty cute cat.”
“Told you,” you laugh slightly.
The conversation wanes there. The air is quiet for a moment as you look at each other—so very close—your smiles tapering off. You watch him as he watches you, each of you waiting for the other to break the silence.
You count off the seconds, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and when you get to fifteen, you break eye contact and speak, “I’m sorry that I haven’t been a very good friend as of late.”
He scratches at his beard, sighing, “It’s fine, I get it. We’re adults; we have other priorities.”
“Yeah, but you are one of my top ones. Easy.” You bump your shoulder into his, “So, dinner?”
He looks at you. “Sure.”
You try to take it as a win, despite the swirling feeling of anxiety that still sits in your stomach. Setting your hand on his arm, you give him an appreciative squeeze as you get up.
“I’ll text you so we can pin down details, I've gotta be on set.”

Cuddles! ;3
Larry Johnson x reader
Sal Fisher x reader
Larry
It was a quiet evening in the apartment, a gentle hum of life outside the window filling the otherwise silent room. A soft rain tapped against the glass, the perfect backdrop for a cozy night in. Larry had just thrown himself onto the couch, stretching his long legs over one end, making himself comfortable. The faint scent of his paint-stained hoodie mixed with the slight smell of incense lingering from earlier. He looked up, patting the empty space beside him with a small smile.
"Come on, don’t just stand there,” he teased, his eyes warm and inviting. “It's way too cold to be sitting alone."
Without another word, you slid down next to him, and he instantly wrapped his arm around you, pulling you close. The weight of his arm across your shoulders was comforting, solid. Larry had this way of making you feel safe, like nothing else mattered when you were with him. He let out a contented sigh, relaxing into the moment.
As you leaned against him, you could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat under his hoodie, a comforting, grounding beat that soothed every thought and worry. Larry chuckled softly, the sound rumbling in his chest.
“You know, I don’t get to do this often,” he said, tilting his head to look down at you. “Usually, I’m either up in my room or hanging out with Sal and the guys, but… I like this. Just us. It’s nice.”
You nodded, feeling warmth spread through you, and snuggled closer into his side. He chuckled again, adjusting his arm so he could hold you even tighter, almost like he was afraid you'd vanish if he let go. For someone with such a tough, almost intimidating exterior, he was incredibly soft, a trait you loved about him. Every time you were close like this, it reminded you that Larry was more than just the loud, scrappy guy everyone saw. He was warm, caring, and protective in his own quiet way.
Minutes passed in a comfortable silence, the world outside forgotten. Eventually, Larry shifted, reaching over to grab a blanket from the back of the couch and draping it over both of you. You could feel his hand resting at the small of your back, drawing gentle circles there absentmindedly. It was such a small gesture, but it made you feel incredibly special.
“Thanks for sticking around,” he murmured, voice soft and a little unsure. “I know things get… weird sometimes.”
You reached up and brushed a strand of his hair back, meeting his gaze. "Wouldn’t have it any other way."
His face softened, a rare vulnerability in his eyes, and he pressed a gentle kiss to the top of your head. “Good,” he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur. “Because you’re pretty much the best part of my life.”
As the rain continued to patter outside, you both settled deeper into the couch, wrapped up in each other. The night stretched on, filled with nothing but warmth, soft laughter, and the comfort of simply being together.
Sal
The apartment was quiet, the glow of streetlights filtering in through the curtained window, casting a soft orange hue across the room. Sally lay beside you on the couch, his blue hair spilling out of his mask and catching the light just right. You could feel the warmth of his presence, the quiet hum of his breathing, and for once, all the anxiety that had lingered in your mind seemed to ease.
He was usually so guarded, so cautious around everyone—even you at first. But over time, Sally had opened up, and the two of you had built a connection that felt grounding and safe, like you each had finally found someone who understood.
“Are you comfortable?” you asked softly, noticing the way he fidgeted just a little. You knew he wasn’t always used to being so close, and he rarely let his guard down, but something tonight felt different.
He nodded, his eyes soft as they met yours. “Yeah, I just… sometimes forget people can actually want to be near me. Like this,” he murmured, a faint blush creeping up under his mask.
You reached over, gently taking his hand, giving it a comforting squeeze. “I always want to be near you, Sal. If there’s one place I feel like I belong, it’s right here, beside you.”
Sally’s expression softened, his gaze searching yours as if looking for reassurance in your eyes. “It still feels… unreal sometimes,” he whispered. “Like all this could disappear, or that… you’ll realize I’m not worth it.”
Without thinking, you gently brushed a strand of blue hair from his face, your hand lingering on his cheek. “Sal, you’re worth everything. And more.” You offered a small, sincere smile, hoping he could feel how much you meant every word. “Even on the hard days, when things feel heavy, and life seems impossible… I’m here for all of it. For all of you.”
A comfortable silence settled between you, his fingers intertwined with yours. Slowly, almost shyly, he shifted closer, tentatively laying his head on your shoulder. You felt his hesitation but squeezed his hand gently to show you were there with him, matching the quiet rhythm of his breaths as you melted into the moment together.
He spoke again, voice barely above a whisper, “I… I’ve never really had this before. But with you, it’s… different. You make it feel okay.”
You placed a gentle kiss on the top of his head, breathing in the faint smell of his shampoo, something calming and fresh. He snuggled closer, relaxing into the embrace as you wrapped an arm around him, feeling him let go of the tension he always seemed to carry.
“Sal, you don’t have to do this alone anymore,” you murmured softly, your fingers tracing soothing patterns on his back. “Not when I’m here. You can always lean on me.”
He relaxed even more, his breathing softening as he closed his eyes, letting your words sink in. A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips, and he murmured, “Thank you, for being here… for everything.”
The two of you stayed there, tangled together in the quiet warmth, neither of you needing to say anything more. The world outside seemed to fade away, and for that small moment, there was only the soft comfort of holding each other close.

Hani & JK at Coachella
Hani of BTS | BTS 8th Member
The lights of Coachella pulsed across the crowd like a heartbeat, colors flashing over everyone in neon and electric hues. Hani was in the center of it all, feeling the excitement sweep through the festival grounds. She was with Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa, having the time of her life despite knowing she had to be serious for her performance the next day. BLACKPINK would be performing at Coachella, and since Rosé had fallen sick, Hani was set to step in for her. But for tonight, she could let go and enjoy the moment. Even better, her longtime friend and bandmate, Jungkook, was there with her. Timing had worked out perfectly since he was recording in LA, so he’d decided to join her for Coachella, eager to support her and enjoy the festival.
The girls were all buzzing from a few drinks, dancing and laughing together under the flashing lights. Hani didn’t mind the warmth of the alcohol spreading through her, making her feel lighter and bolder, her laughter blending with theirs as they swayed to the music. But as the night went on, Hani started to feel the unwanted presence of a group of men nearby. They were lingering too close, their gazes too persistent, and Hani began inching closer to Jennie and Lisa, trying to ignore them.
Suddenly, she felt a familiar hand slip around her waist, pulling her back protectively. Jungkook was by her side in an instant, his hand firm as he positioned himself between her and the men. Without saying a word, he subtly drew her close, his fingers slipping into her belt loops, signaling to everyone that she wasn’t alone.
“Just keep dancing,” he murmured, his voice low and steady in her ear. “I’ve got you.”
Hani smiled gratefully, closing her eyes for a moment, letting the music and his presence calm her. They continued swaying together, her feeling safe and relaxed in his protective embrace, his watchful gaze ensuring that no one would bother her again.
Unbeknownst to them, several people in the crowd noticed the moment and whipped out their phones, capturing Jungkook’s protective stance. Within minutes, clips of Jungkook holding Hani close, were posted online. The videos went viral almost instantly, and soon, ARMYs on Twitter and social media were flooding the internet with fan edits and reactions.
@ArmyForever: “JUNGKOOK holding HANI like that?? My heart can’t take it, he’s such a protector!! 😍🔥 #ProtectiveJungkook”
@OT7Army: “Not me obsessing over how safe Hani looks with Kookie holding her like that… idk I’m in shambles #JungkookHani”
@BTSxARMY: “I’m losing it over this! Look at how he’s holding her belt loops—my heart is done! Jungkook is the best 🥺💜 #JungkookProtectsHani”
As the internet buzzed with excitement, Wonwoo, who had stayed back in Korea, was scrolling through his phone when he stumbled upon one of the videos. His heart skipped a beat seeing Hani with Jungkook, the way he was holding her protectively. At first, worry flashed through his mind—she looked flushed, a little unsteady, and he recognized that look. She’d probably had a few drinks with the BLACKPINK girls and was feeling lightheaded. Concerned, he opened his messages, his fingers hovering before he typed a quick text to Jungkook.
Wonwoo: Hey, Kookie, saw a few videos. Hani okay?
The response was almost immediate.
Jungkook: Yeah, hyung, she’s fine! She had a little too much with the BLACKPINK girls, but don’t worry. I’m taking her back now.
Wonwoo exhaled, the tension easing as he imagined Hani safe and smiling, thanks to Jungkook’s watchful presence.
Wonwoo: I appreciate it, Kookie. Really. Thanks for having her back.
Jungkook: Always, hyung. I’m basically guarding her with my life right now. 😂
Wonwoo smiled at his screen, feeling reassured and grateful that Hani had someone so reliable by her side.
Meanwhile, Jungkook guided Hani back to her hotel room, making sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. Once inside, he helped her settle onto the sofa, opening a bottle of water from the minibar and handing it to her.
“Here,” he said, sitting beside her. “You need to hydrate.”
Hani took the bottle with a sleepy grin, taking big gulps as she shook her head, still giggling. “I’m going to feel this tomorrow, aren’t I?”
“Definitely. But you’ll feel worse if you don’t drink that,” he replied, watching her with an amused smile as she drank more. Once she finished most of the bottle, Jungkook leaned back, a soft seriousness entering his gaze. “You ready for tomorrow?”
Hani looked down at the water, a mix of nerves and excitement surfacing in her eyes. “I mean…it’s Coachella. I feel ready but also…not ready at all? I’ve never done something like this and I don’t want to disappoint ARMY or Blinks. Everyone’s expecting something amazing.”
Jungkook tilted his head, meeting her gaze with a steady, encouraging look. “And that’s exactly what they’re going to get. Hani—don’t act like Coachella’s any different. Tomorrow, you’re going to make that crowd lose it.”
Her face softened as his words sank in, her cheeks flushing as she gave a small, grateful nod. “Thank you, Kookie.”
He smirked, his eyes bright with confidence. “Just telling the truth. You’ve got this, and tomorrow everyone’s going to see it.”
Hani felt her nerves melt, a smile breaking through as she looked at him with genuine appreciation. “I’ll give it my all. I’m going to make you and everyone proud.”
Jungkook chuckled, reaching over to ruffle her hair. “That’s what I like to hear. Now, get some rest.”
Once he was sure she’d drunk enough water and was comfortably settled, he gave her a last pat on the shoulder and stood to leave. “You good?” he asked.
She nodded, giving him a warm, sleepy smile. “More than good, thanks to you.”
He returned the smile, nodding with a final wave. “Break a leg tomorrow, Hani. I’ll be cheering you on.”
After he left, Hani felt a warm glow settle over her, a mix of gratitude and determination. Jungkook had a way of grounding her, filling her with the confidence she needed to take on a stage as big as Coachella. As she lay down, she opened her phone to find a message from Wonwoo, making her smile grow even wider.
Wonwoo: Knock ‘em dead tomorrow, Hani. I’m so proud of you.

(I know it's not one word but...)
Harvest Moon!
The moment Duke heard about Smallville's Harvest Moon Festival, he knew he wanted to go with Danny. They've both been stuck in Gotham for a while and never get to leave as civilians. He's tired of most of their dates being crashed by crime and corruption, having to ditch meals out together to evacuate civilians and fight rogues who don't respect the sanctity of a day off.
Not this time, though!
Duke has the day off and a favor from Tim has him flying the Batplane out to Kansas with Danny in the co-pilot seat, humming along to the upbeat playlist they decided would accompany them on the flight. It does feel strange for the both of them to be in the Batplane as civilians instead of Signal and Phantom, but it's a nice change.
He's sure that Bruce will scold him about using the Batplane for non-mission purposes, but Duke knows how to deal with him. All he has to do is accuse Bruce of not supporting his relationship and being homophobic, to which Bruce will reply that he's also bi, so how can he be homophobic? And then Duke and anyone else who's around will yell that Bruce is dodging the question and the man will get so tired he'll give up and leave. It's worked before, it'll work again.
"Why'd you wanna go to the festival, anyways?" Danny asks, breaking the comfortable silence that's settled between them.
Duke shrugs. "It sounded fun. And it's far from Gotham, so we won't have to worry about a rogue crashing our date again."
"Don't jinx us," Danny warns with a teasing grin, "Watch an alien warship come down just to prove you wrong."
"Don't put that out into the world! Today's our day off. If an alien warship does come down, the Supers can deal with it. I am going to have a fun night out with you and I'm not letting anything get in our way."
"How romantic," Danny say wryly, "Protecting our date. The fact that it's even gotten this bad is honestly ridiculous."
"I'm starting to think Gotham doesn't want us to date."
"Gotham can think whatever it wants. It's not going to keep me away from you."
"Sap."
"Says you!" Danny reaches over to lightly smack his arm and Duke grins, grabbing his hand to press a kiss against his palm just to watch Danny's face flush red.
They land a few minutes later in a field just behind the Kent's property. Duke makes sure the plane is cloaked, hidden from sight, before he descends with Danny. Kon waits for them, giving them a cheerful wave once they're on the ground.
"Good to see you," he greets, leading them to the Kent house. "We've got quite the spread prepared today!"
Duke blinks. "Oh, we were just going to chill until the festival started. You didn't need to include us in your dinner plans."
"If you think you can stop Ma from feeding you, you got another thing coming. Especially since she likes Danny so much." Kon winks at Danny. "Also, I made a banging sweet potato casserole and I need you two to compliment me on it, so you have to join us."
"Fair enough," Danny says. "Good thing we didn't eat before heading out, huh?"
Duke reaches out and takes Danny's hand in his. This is already looking to be better than all their other dates in Gotham. "Lucky us," he agrees, then tells Kon, "Thanks, man, for setting us up for this."
"No prob! I'm always happy to help out in the name of love. Also the festival is super fun and I need you to convince Tim to come by one of these days. If he's stuck in Gotham working on cases any longer, he's gonna start growing mushrooms outta his head."
"We'll make sure he stops by soon," Duke promises.
They emerge from the corn field to the picnic table behind the Kent house covered in a checkered table cloth and covered in a variety of dishes. The other members of the Kent family and members of Superman's side of the hero business are gathered around as well, chatting with relaxed smiles. Kon leaves them with a friendly slap on their backs and walks over to pick Jon up and toss him over his shoulder.
Sibling bickering fills the air. Danny leans against Duke with a soft smile.
"Thanks," he says quietly, the words just for the two of them. "For everything."
"I should be saying that to you," Duke returns, leaning in to kiss Danny's cheek. "C'mon, let's go enjoy our date night."
Yeah, they're definitely coming back next year. He'll even remember to bring one of his mom's favorite dishes to the Havrest Moon Dinner the Kent's host.
(send me a Halloween/autumn themed word and I'll write you a ghostlights drabble!)
#dc x dp#dp x dc#dcxdp#dpxdc#ghostlights#prompt fill#write something really short challenge failed again....#now with a bonus kon + kent family for fun!!

Make a Wish
(Link to ao3)
John was awakened by a none too gentle shove at the small of his back. He turned around to find Sherlock writhing next to him under the blanket, his eyebrows drawn together, his lips pressed into a thin line, before they opened to let out a strangled noise.
John reached back to turn on the lamp on his bedside table, then tried to gently untangle Sherlock from the blankets without touching him too roughly.
“Sherlock?” he whispered once the duvet was lying smoothly on top of the man. There was no sign of recognition, so John tried again louder.
“Sherlock!”
Sherlock’s eyes flew open and he sat up straight in one swift motion, clinging to the duvet and panting heavily.
Sherlock was not usually one for nightmares, and John’s had mostly stopped too, but sometimes they had to wake each other in the middle of the night.
And from the looks of it, this dream was a bad one.
Carefully John got onto his knees, trying to get away from behind Sherlock where he couldn’t see him.
“Hey, Sherlock,” John whispered, stretching out a hand, but not touching, not yet.
“Shhh, it’s alright, you’re alright.” He tried to loosen Sherlock’s grip around the duvet.
“You’re in our bed, our room in our flat in London.”
He got the blanket out of Sherlock’s death grip and gently closed his hands around Sherlock’s.
“You see that chair? Silly question, of course you see it. But do you remember how you’ve placed your dressing gown on it yesterday?”
Sherlock nodded, his breaths beginning to even out slightly.
“That’s it,” John soothed, “I’ve got you.”
Sherlock nodded again, then eventually turned his head to take in more of the room himself.
Finally he looked at John. He closed his eyes and let his head sink onto his shoulder.
“Thank you,” he whispered hoarsely.
“It’s alright,” John whispered back, drawing circles on Sherlock’s back.
“Are you alright?”
Sherlock was silent for a moment, then shrugged.
“Don’t know…”
“That’s alright, too,” John told him and nudged him to lie back down again, Sherlock half atop John.
While continuing his slow patterns on Sherlock’s back, John remembered an article he’d read just some days ago, about how little games could distract the mind in these situations, questions like, who do you want to be?
John looked down at the man in his arms, now all but clinging to him instead of the blanket.
“Hey…”
Sherlock hummed.
“Make a wish?”
John knew this was probably a brusque request, Sherlock was half asleep and raw from quite terrifying emotions, but he couldn’t think of a better question for the worlds only consulting detective.
Sherlock hummed again, shifting a little, then mumbled, “Marry me.”
They both froze, Sherlock had apparently surprised himself just as much as he’d surprised John. And his tactic to deal with it was to feign sleep.
John took in a deep breath, trying to calm the riot in his body.
Right, this question hadn’t been well thought through.
When the shock had somewhat subsided, a warm fuzziness spread through his chest instead, pulsing through his veins with every beat of his heart.
Sherlock wanted to marry him.
“Well,” John said as gently as possible.
“If you really want to bind yourself to an old army doctor…”
Sherlock’s head shot up.
“What? You’d want to?”
John smiled at him. “Stupid question. Of course I want to.”
Sherlock just stared at him, his eyes wide.
John chuckled.
“Do you want to hear the word? Yes, yes I do want to marry you.”
Sherlock pressed his eyes closed, almost as if he were in pain, and pressed his cheek against John’s chest.
“I love you,” he whispered fiercely. “I love you! I love you…”
“And I love you,” John whispered back, hiding his smile in the dark curls under his nose.
They loved each other, and they would tell the world.

"Just shut up and kiss me already"
Ellie Williams x fem reader
The first date
A/N-Thank you too @aliceellieswife for this request it's kinda rushed but I hope you like it😰
"This is stupid" is all Ellie could think as she stood outside your door waiting for you, dressed in her usual Jackson attire of black jeans, her decomposing converse and a normal hoodie, holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers, she always made sure to get the ones you liked, shes just thrilled that she can finally take you on a date! She nearly threw up her nerves when asking you so shes determined not too mess this up.
Shes so thrilled her stomach is doing hoola hoops and her palms are sweaty and is she standing weird? Are the chocolates waiting in the car melting? Is she-
Her thoughts are abruptly interrupted as she sees you open the door and Lord do you look amazing, her eyes trail up to your face as she breaks out into a grin.
"You look beautiful" she speaks in awe, she sounds shocked, relieved and nervous all at once as she fiddles with the bouquet nervously, shes trying to play it cool but you can see how much shes sweating.
She nearly trips over her own damn feet as she steps forward "I got you flowers, your favourites"
'god Ellie!' She can't help but think 'pull yourself together!'
She's reassured at least something is going right when you pull her towards you into a brief hug as you take the flowers, handling them with care "their beautiful" you gush heading inside to put them in a vase quickly. She takes your hand as she walks you to her car, nearly tripping, again! "calm down Els" you giggle watching her get all flustered over even the littlest of things and you can't help but gaze at her in the hazy afternoon glow, the way her green eyes squint slightly in the bright light, revealing a sappy green color, one of which you've recently grown to love, the way her skin glows, her freckles prominent, shes like a perfect puzzle pieces together all for you, her aubern air tied up in that gorgeous half-up half-down bun that she knows you love so much.
★
A dreamy car ride (though let's admit, anything with THE Ellie Williams next to you is dreamy) and walk along the beach later and you and Ellie found a well lit area and a gorgeous view of the horizon. Luckily Ellie had brought a blanket for you both too lay on as you eat ice cream and watch the sun slowly set out over the sea.
"I'm telling you (fav flavour) is horrible" she laughs and scrunches up her nose, you giggle but cant help getting distracted by the way her eyes squint slightly and she grins brightly with enough warmth in them to make even the chilliest evenings seem way too warm.
"It's literally the best flavor what are you talking about? At least I didn't order bubblegum like a child" you joke pushing her arm slightly as she licks her bubblegum flavoured ice cream glating at you mischievously like your missing out on something big, you can't help but giggle as she goes slightly red and pushes you back, accidentally smothering her own cheek in ice cream as you push her arm back up against her. "Oh shit I'm sorry!"
"don't hate my superior tastebuds! Bubblegum is not for children" she argues feigning seriousness with it smeared on her cheek, you can't help but burst out cackling and pull down your jacket sleeve to gently wipe it from her face
"evidently" you joke focusing your eyes on caressing her cheek rather than her eyes, truly taking in just how cute her freckles are. Ellie notices this and gently places her hand over your wrist that's cupping her cheek and leans into your touch, there isn't even a mark anymore it's just an excuse to be closer to her, to feel her, both of you know it but neither of you will say it.
Your eyes lock with hers, your own ice cream discarded long ago, you come to the realisation your craving something a bit more sweet. Said craving still hasn't let go of your wrist yet, neither of you wanting to break the moment just yet, but none of you wanting to make a move. She looks at you like you hung the stars and you love it.
You simply exist for a moment until she holds her ice cream in front of your face h
Yauntingly "you won't regret it" she teases but you just scrunch up your nose and hum softly, enjoying listening to her speak as she goes on, and on, and on, you zone out, focusing more on the way her lips move and her eyes flutter under the intensifying light of the sunset unfolding in front of you, how her well kept hair flows slightly in the breeze, all you can focus on is how badly you want to touch her, to feel her, shes talking away and your nodding along, gosh shes such a need, dropping statistics you don't understand yet nod to anyway, studying her facial features and how she takes pride in this. But then again Ellie takes pride in most things.
"-it's not even just to do with biology it's more hereditary I think-" you snap back to reality and lean back, you have absolutely no idea what she's yapping about anymore or how the topic changed from I've cream to this but your not about to complain about hearing her soothing voice a little longer. She's oblivious to your thoughts process and keeps on talking. Honestly it's a little funny, with the way your oogling at her it's hard not to be able to tell your 100% into her.
"Ellie-" you interupt her, leaning closer putting your arms on her chest softly, just grazing her skin, you don't know what your doing but you can't take this anymore.
"just shut up and kiss me already" she goes beet red and stammers in her sentence, trying to form a decent response she silences almost immediately as you lean in, her hands find your waist instinctively and hums as she pulls you closer.
Your own hands wrap around her neck as you kiss, it's sweet and long and passionate and everything a kiss should be, she tastes smooth like caramel with a tiny hint of bubblegum ice cream and you wouldn't have it any other way, her arm wraps around you more firmly now as she pulls back to look at you through half lidded, slightly shocked eyes.
"I love you Y/N" she whispers softly, the words are foreign in her mouth but feel right to say if it's to you.
"I love you too Ellie" you whisper back peppering another quick kiss on her lips.
"Girlfriends?" Ellie asks and you can't help but roll your eyes dramatically and bring a hand up to play with her hair as if the kiss didn't clarify.
"Girlfriend's." You say factually and kiss her again. As far as Ellie's concerned this date was a win.
A/N-(again) sorry if this is ass I haven't wrote anything like this in ages (or wrote in general) also sorry it took so long I hope you enjoyed!! 😋- I just re read it 2 bours later nd this shit make no sense bro😭I wrote it when I was high, come back and I did it dirty icl.

Treat for Alan pls? I love him so much 🤗
Just letting everyone know that I'll post just one treat per character today! There's still plenty more characters to go, though, so feel free to send them in my askbox hehe
Sweat dripped profusely down Alan's forehead and face. He breathed heavily, chest heaving up and down as he tried to catch his breath. Steam visibly wafted off of his body, still hot with all the exertion he has made during his training.
As his blood rushed through his veins, the buzzing in his ears made him unaware of you slowly making way towards him.
You cleared your throat, announcing your arrival since you knew Alan was always on edge. His head snapped towards you, dark grey eyes visibly focusing on your figure as he came back to himself.
"Hi, Alan." You said, quietly.
"... Hi. What's wrong?" He wiped his forehead, flicking the beads of sweat onto the concrete floor.
"Nothing. I just came to give you this." You extended your arm, offering him a towel and a bottle of sports drink.
He grabbed both items with a puzzled look on his face.
"Er... I... I kinda know your schedule." You admit, scratching your cheek, embarrased. "I know you usually finish training around this time and that you don't bring these things with you."
"Have you been watching me?" He asked bluntly, yet there was no anger on his tone, nor did he sound accusatory. If anything, you could hear a tinge of gratitude in his voice, which warmed your chest.
You cleared your throat again.
"I... I guess. But it's just because I worry about you."
Alan took a huge gulp of the drink, eyes widening at your words.
"About me?"
You pointed at the seat beside him, silently asking for permission to sit. He scooted to the side, giving you more space to sit comfortably.
"Yeah." You said, while taking your place beside him, feeling the heat that still emanated from his body. "Just because you're strong, doesn't mean you shouldn't take care of yourself. That's why I'm-" you stopped, a bit embarrassed at what you were about to say.
Alan turned his body towards you, waiting for you to continue. You breathed deeply, gathering your courage.
"That's... that's why I'm gonna do it for you. Take care. Of you, I mean." You finished clumsly, silently beating yourself up for ruining the moment.
By your side, Alan felt the tips of his ears get tingly. It was his turn to clear his throat.
"Thanks." He murmured, and you nodded, lips pursed into a thin line.
You were about to get up and cut your losses, fully believing you had bombed that whole confession, when his voice resounded once more right beside you.
"I'll be counting on you from now on, then." Alan said, a small smile gracing his lips.

Glittery Clear - wearer will let the snapper "feel up" or touch any body part
Eddie Munson may be the freak of Hawkins, but he is your best friend. Who is always willing to teach you new things, even when you get new bracelets from your cousin. Eddie will even go as far as teaching & showing you what each one means.
I am over at Eddie's place, helping him do his laundry.
He always puts it off go the very last minute, and right now he is wearing his uncle's clothes.
"You shouldn't put it off this long." I told him, as I hung up his jeans to try.
I may take his clothes back to my place and throw them in the dryer with my clothes.
"Thanks mom." He said sarcastically to me.
Just as we were about done, some dark clouds were gathering in the sky, making Eddie moan.
"Let's go to my place and dry this stuff. I have a load I have to put in the dryer."
Him and I quickly took everything down, and placing it back in the laundry basket just as the heavens opened up and it started to rain once more.
We got to my car, him throwing his clothes in the backseat as I started up the car.
He got in, joining me for the car ride back to my place.
The radio was playing, and I could tell he was upset about the music.
"You can change the station."
"Pfft, like any station around here will be playing my type of music. You know, the devil's music."
He made me laugh when he did the horn thing against the sides of his head and stick his tongue out.
"Hopefully I can save up and get a car with a tape player."
"Nah, your car is fine. Better than my van."
"That's because you need to get it serviced once in a blue moon."
Out of the corner of my eye I saw him just mouth 'yeah yeah.' and then look out the window, silence once more.
◆
I put our clothes in the dryer, and found Eddid in my room, not where I left him mind you.
I left him channel surfing in the living room, but right now, I found him at my dresser, with the top drawer open.
"Being a pervert again, Mr Munson?" I asked him as I leaned against my doorframe.
"Oh very much so." He turned around to face me, and my eyes widened when I saw what was in his hands.
It was the same bra I was wearing when I flashed him the other day.
"Okay, enough playing with my stuff, put it back Eddie." I tried to snatch the bra from his hand, but he took a step back.
"So which one are you wearing now?" He asked me, his eyes zoned in my chest."
"None of your concern. Give it back." I demanded.
"Come on, show me or better yet," He didn't even finish what he was saying as he snapped the glitter clear one, which I already knew what that one meant.
"Really Eddie? You want to feel me up?"
He gave me a small smile and shrugged.
"Fine." I closed the door behind me, not wanting to be interrupted by Steve or Robin when they come back home from work.
I took off my shirt, kind of embarrassed about what bra I am wearing right now.
It isn't one of my nice ones, and I was sure no one was going to be seeing it today.
Eddie's hands were on my shoulders, massaging them for a minute, and then his hands slowly slid down until they were cupping my breasts over my bra.
He wasn't squeezing hard, just enough for me to feel it, and all I wanted to do was moan, but I held that in.
"Can you take," I didn't let him finish as I reached up behind me and unclipped my bra.
He pulled his hands back just a bit to let the bra fall, which I tossed to the side on my bed.
The moment his hands made contact with my bare breasts, I gasped.
Eddie looked at me, his brown eyes wide as he heard me.
His hands squeezed them a bit, and closed my eyes, soft little pants falling from my lips.
"Who knew they were so sensitive." Eddie said to me.
I opened my eyes to watch him play with my tits.
I could feel myself getting wet, my pussy clenching around nothing and I wanted nothing more than to push Eddie on his back and ride him.
I have no idea how long he felt me up for, but he was the one who pulled away first, standing up and clearing his throat.
"I gotta go."
And he was out the door.
What hell just happened?

you wondered who was ringing your doorbell at 3:45 in the morning.
you opened the door only to find your ex boyfriend, kento.
“kento? what are doing here? and are you... drunk?”
“i miss you. i miss us. i thought that if i stayed with you, i was only gonna put you in... hic... danger. i regret that decision so much. please, i need you. i need you in my arms again...”
kento could cry right now.
“you’re just drunk, kento. you probably don’t mean any of those...” tears threatening to fall.
“i mean it wholeheartedly. take... hic... take me back, please...”
only you have seen kento during his vulnerable state. you know him too well, you knew that kento is the most honest person especially when he’s drunk.
“it’s okay if you don’t wanna take me back... just, let me be in your arms for tonight...”
you heave out a long sigh as you took him in. guiding him into your once shared bedroom.
you were both laying on the bed, reminding you of your shared moments with him when you two were still together.
“thank you for this, sweetheart.”
sweetheart.
a familiar endearment that kento used a lot on you. one that you loved the most.
“let’s talk once i’m in my right mind... i’ll... do anything… just to be with you… again...” passing out as he rests his head on the crook of your neck.
“i missed you too, kento.” hugging him tightly like you weren’t gonna see him tomorrow.
let’s just say that the both of you were able to sleep comfortably, knowing you were in each other’s arms.

“give me the first taste” | 10k
logan howlett x f!reader
part 2 of “GUILTY PLEASURE”
"Your hungry flirt borders intrusion / And I'm building memories on things we have not said / Full is not heavy as empty, not nearly, my love / Give me the first taste / Let it begin, heaven cannot wait forever / Darling, just start start the chase, I'll let you win." The First Taste by Fiona Apple
SUMMARY: From the moment you first laid eyes on Logan, you knew he was a tough nut to crack. But if there’s one thing you love, it’s a challenge. As your relationship grows, you’re determined to show him that, in this universe, he can also be loved.
WARNINGS/TAGS: smut - mdni 18+ fluff, angst, drinking, dirty talk, slow-burnish, age-gap (reader is 25), once again wade saves the day, domestic!logan, soft dom!logan, logan calls reader “kid”, they watch (500) days of summer, oral sex (f and m receiving), fingering, thigh riding, thumb sucking, throat fucking, multiple orgasms, unprotected p in v, creampie (i would say i’m sorry but i’d be lying)
AUTHOR’S NOTE: jeez. hi guys!!! hope you’re doing alright. this is the 2nd part to “guilty pleasure.” writing for these two has been a total rollercoaster, but god was it worth it. as i always tell you, english isn’t my first language, so if you come across any mistake and you feel like letting me know, there’s no problem. thank you so much for all the support you’ve been giving my posts. i’m happy strangers out there take the time to read my silly stories :)
A girl and a mutant walk into an apartment…
Actually, you’re still trying to come up with the rest of the joke. But one thing’s true: Logan’s about to set foot in your place.
You curse under your breath, putting both your hands to work as you struggle to open the door. “Fucking swollen wood. I hate humidity,” you mutter, glancing back at Logan, who frowns as you keep trying different maneuvers to get the door to function properly.
It’s a shitty situation overall. And having that gorgeous man practically glued to your back isn’t helping in any way. You can tell he wants to give you a hand, but you’re not having it—women in STEM or something of the sort.
“May I—” he starts, though you cut him off before he can finish.
“I’ve got this. Just need to—” you say, ramming your shoulder into the door with enough force to make it finally give away. Almost stumbling over the carpet but managing to catch yourself, you sigh in relief. Meanwhile, Logan stands still, scrutinizing you until you gesture for him to enter. “Welcome to the smallest apartment in New York City. It's nothing fancy, but it’s got everything you need for a comfortable stay on a budget. Make yourself at home!”
Logan narrows his eyes, the tiniest smirk playing on his lips before stepping inside. Each of his movements seems to be premeditated as he tosses his jacket onto the couch, surveying the room. A portrait of when you were a kid, probably six or seven years old, catches his attention. He tilts his head, picking up the picture to examine it more closely, and then flashes you a lopsided grin. “How cute.”
“Well, I’ve changed a lot,” you take the picture from his hands, returning it to the shelf where he had gotten it from.
“Well,” he echoes, mocking your tone, “your beauty certainly hasn’t.”
His eyes bore into you as you meet his gaze. What amazes you most is that he’s being completely honest. In a heartbeat, you look away, wondering what’s gotten into you. Usually, you’re not this awkward—you’ve learned how to take compliments over the years, knowing how to smile just right, to flutter your eyelashes. To blush and giggle in command. Those were the tools that helped you to survive countless first dates—your dearest aces up your sleeve.
There’s no use denying that they remained just that: first, failed dates. You hope you never have to go back to dating apps after this.
“Are you hungry? ‘Cause I’m starving,” you say, trying to walk away from him, although he’s faster, catching your hand in his.
“Hey,” he urges you to make eye contact with him, his voice perplexingly soft. “Is everything okay?”
You nod so vigorously that you nearly strain your neck. “I’m fine, I swear. I just never get past this point.”
Inching closer, he presses his lips together for a split second, his brows furrowing in confusion. “You lost me there.”
“Guys who come into my apartment don’t tend to call back,” you admit, a flush creeping up your face, cheeks getting hotter. “I happen to believe it’s a curse, though I’ve kissed, like, a hundred toads so far and it still won’t break.”
“So y’think you’re gonna scare me off,” he raises an eyebrow, grinning. His rough fingers become gentle as they tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. “It’s sweet. Should be the other way around.”
Wow. You two are a match made in heaven.
As you detach yourself from his embrace and head to the kitchen, you decide to look for something edible in the fridge, finding different trays of food from days ago, none of which look appetizing or suitable for feeding the Tin Woodman standing behind you.
All of a sudden, the unmistakable metallic sound of Logan’s claws unsheathing rings in your ears, forcing you to spin around. The image that unfolds before you is peculiar, to say the least: he’s cornering your cat against the door.
Why is he about to fight a cat?
“Please don’t kill him?” you take a step in his direction and scoop the little ball of white fur into your arms. Logan stares at both of you, eyes squinted and brows knitted. “I’m sure he’s the cutest feline you’ve ever seen. Have mercy on him.”
“I didn’t know you had a cat.”
“Earnest wasn’t aware of your existence either,” you reply, scratching along the animal’s back. He purrs beside your neck, his yellowish eyes never leaving Logan’s. “Earnest, this is Logan. He has claws just like you.”
“Don’t you dare compare me to that,” Logan warns you, retracting his claws with a sigh. You can’t help but wonder if he ever feels tranquil, at peace. “Y’know, you’ve doomed him to bad fortune with that name. Is he at least toilet trained?”
“Are you hating on The Importance of Being Earnest?” you ask, expecting a retort, though apparently the play’s title doesn’t ring a bell for him. “Oscar Wilde?”
“Who do you think you’re talkin’ to, kid?”
Now’s your time to roll your eyes, setting the cat down and letting it run away. He likes to hide in the bathroom—don’t ask why, because not even you know the answer to that. You flick your gaze up back to Logan, placing your hands on your hips. “See, you gave him trust issues.”
“He’ll survive. Don’t they have seven lives?”
This is the perfect conversation to have with someone who just ate you out thirty minutes ago: how many lives do cats have. Jesus.
At some point, Logan flops onto the couch, stretching out. You shudder as you hear him crack his neck, the popping sound getting on your nerves. He pats the empty side of the sofa, spreading his thighs until he’s almost taking up all the space. “Come here.”
Putting aside all your thoughts, you accept the invitation. You sit down, motionless, and his arm grazes the cushion behind your head, pulling you closer to him. You rest your cheek on his chest, letting out a deep sigh, one that you’ve been holding in since you got to the apartment. Is it possible that he knows you craved this? This proximity, this kind of affection. To be held—it’s been your only wish for months. He drums his fingers on your shoulder blades, then starts rubbing your back ever so lightly.
Far from dozing off, you feel alive.
It’s hard not to lose track of time and space when you find yourself immersed in the warmth he offers, and that’s when you realize how deeply you’re falling for this man. “Logan?” the mere thought of asking him what’s been on your mind terrifies you. The last thing you want is to ruin things—or whatever it is that you have. He hums, a low, heavy sound in his throat, indicating you to continue. “I have a question.”
“Ask away.”
You lift your face from his chest and look him in the eye. The city’s still alive outside, with music and chatter sneaking in through the window. Everything seems to be perfect, and you wish you could stay like this—just staring at him as if he were a painting in a museum, and you the critic who can’t stop writing articles about its beauty.
Okay, that was… weirdly specific.
Logan tries to hide his smile as you peck his lips repeatedly. For a moment, you almost forget what you were going to ask him in the first place. But then he’s ready to listen, and you a wave of nausea washes over you.
“I know that we came here to… engage in adult practices.”
“Fucking, you mean.”
“I didn’t want to be that straightforward, but yeah,” you say, shaking your head as to rearrange your thoughts. “Would you mind if we stayed like this?” to emphasize your point, you kick your shoes off and put your legs on top of his lap. He observes the whole sequence without daring to utter a word. “Don’t get me wrong. I’d love to try that too. I truly do. But… right now, all I want is to cuddle,” he’s still silent, making you even more nervous. “I’m sorry. Is that okay with you?”
His whole body engulfs yours, your cheek coming to rest once again in its original position. You can feel the rhythmic beating of his heart, each breath he takes, the air he exhales dampening your nape. Logan peppers your neck with chaste kisses before pressing his lips to your temple. His voice comes out strained, partially muffled by your hair. “Who do you take me for, huh?” he’s right there, beside your ear, fucking everywhere. There isn’t a single centimeter of your exposed skin that he isn’t touching, marking as his. You don’t give him an answer, in part because you’re unsure of what to say. He takes your silence as a cue to keep talking. “Let me take you to bed.”
“I can walk on my own.”
“I know,” he mutters, standing up with you in his arms, one arm beneath your knees and the other one under your shoulders. Logan’s not used to being this cautious, this patient with someone he’s known for less than two weeks. You see it in his eyes when he lets his guard down—something that has cracked, a shell that’s been broken.
As he places you gently on top of the covers, he lingers for a moment, crouching beside the bed and searching for your lowered gaze. His fingers are warm as he tilts your chin up. “I didn’t come here just to have sex with you. That was a possibility, of course—but it’s not the main reason why I’m here,” he rasps, words accompanied by the light brush of his lips against yours for a quick, brief kiss. “I care about you. A lot. I’m fine with whatever we do as long as I get to be close to you,” he grabs your hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. He then goes back to his usual bossy self, his demeanor changing. “And I don’t want to hear you apologizing for not wanting to have sex ever again. Understood?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Now you’re making jokes?”
“I can’t have serious conversations,” you confess, observing the look of pure confusion on his face. “It’s true. I once spoke at a funeral and they cut me off forty seconds into my speech.”
Logan laughs at your sudden confession, his eyes crinkling at the edges. Rising to his feet, he begins to unbutton his flannel, pausing after the first few buttons are undone, waiting for your approval. “Do you want me to stay tonight?”
“If that’s what you want.”
“It is what I want.”
“Are you sure?”
“Don’t make me change my mind.”
His words don’t hide any real threat—that you know.
You stifle your laughter, shedding your clothes. Instead of going to the bathroom to change, you toss your work clothes carelessly to the floor, opting for an old pair of pajamas that are the complete opposite of sexy. They surely have seen better days.
Logan’s eyes trail over you, taking his time to analyze the faded lettering on your wrinkled shirt. “Keep calm and eat pizza?” he reads aloud.
“Hey. I bought it when I was seventeen.”
“You could use a new wardrobe.”
“Well, what about you?” you tease, toying with his belt. “You’re gonna sleep like this in my bed?”
“Can’t wait for me to get my shirt off, huh?” he grins, that all-too-familiar smile on his lips.
You play along, folding your arms over your chest. “You think so highly of yourself.”
Without breaking eye contact, Logan unbuckles his jeans, letting them pool around his ankles. He then shrugs off his flannel, leaving him in just his briefs and vest. You scan his body, and the room suddenly feels a hundred degrees hotter, the air between you thickening. Logan notices your reaction, chuckling. “Don’t get too excited. This is all you’re getting today.”
“I think I’ve already heard that before.”
“Kid.”
You raise your hands in surrender, showing him your palms and mouthing ’sorry’. Approaching your bed, you pull back the covers and slip into it. When you see Logan still standing there, you frown. “Where are your manners? Come here. I’m very impatient.”
He grumbles something under his breath, but he doesn’t make you wait long. He proceeds to get under the sheets beside you, occupying that side of the bed that’s always been empty. As you both settle in, facing each other, you can’t help but giggle, your contagious laugh getting to him. “What now?”
“You’re beautiful,” you whisper, tracing the bridge of his nose with your index finger, a featherlight touch that has him closing his eyes. In the soft glow of the night, with the city’s distant sounds filtering in, he looks breathtaking. “I mean it.”
“Do you have an off switch?”
“I’m… not sure. Let’s find out tomorrow.”
“You need to sleep,” he pulls you onto his chest with firm but gentle hands. He intertwines his legs with yours, holding you close.
“Wait. I have a game to play.”
“It’s late.”
“Please?”
He sighs. “Okay.”
“We have to make confessions until we fall asleep.”
“You just want to talk—that doesn’t even qualify as a game.”
“It does in this universe,” you reply, feeling his chest rumble with a chuckle as you settle more comfortably against him. “I’ll start: remember the first night you came to the bar?” he hums in acknowledgment. “It wasn’t Burger Night. We don’t serve food. I just wanted an excuse to talk to you.”
He kisses the top of your head, his arms tightening around you. “I knew. You don’t have a kitchen down there, baby,” he falls silent, taking his time to come up with a confession of his own. “I have a fear of flying.”
“Really? You, of all people?”
“I wasn’t expecting to be judged.”
“Oh, don’t be such a crybaby,” you tease, burying your face further into the crook of his shoulder, inhaling his scent. He shivers slightly where your nose touches his skin. “I like you. It’s kind of scary, and I’m sure saying something like this probably goes against the rules of dating 101, but I do. I feel safe with you, like—like this is where I’m supposed to be.”
Almost as if the pieces of the puzzle finally fit together, you think to yourself, though the words stay unspoken.
You’ve come to learn that Logan’s not a man of many words—he’s more of the “show, don’t tell” kind of guy. So when he makes you lift your face, you’re not surprised by the way he kisses you: hungrily. Passionately, like a starved man at an all-you-can-eat buffet. A soft whimper gets lost somewhere in your throat as his tongue makes its way into your mouth, languidly stroking yours.
“We didn’t brush our teeth,” you whisper against his lips, laughing when he groans in exasperation.
“You love having the final say, don’t you?”
“I’m being serious, Logan. Cavities are a real issue for me.”
“You can always get new teeth.”
“But my morning breath—”
“It’ll stink anyway, and so will mine,” he responds, taking a deep breath and clearing his throat once he settles into his ideal sleep position. “Good night.”
“Night,” you murmur, nuzzling your cheek against his neck. Despite your efforts to ignore it, being cradled like this feels incredible. You can’t believe you went twenty-five years without it.
Just as you’re about to drift off, curiosity strikes. “Can you get tattoos?”
“Bub, I was actually falling asleep.”
“Oh, okay. Sorry,” you mumble, feeling a bit sheepish.
More silence.
“Logan?”
“Hmm?”
“What was the Great Depression like?”
“Fuck me,” he mutters, his voice gruff as he shifts lightly. “It was fine. Now go to sleep.”
And you do, but not for long. An abrupt coldness wakes you up, eyes wide open, feeling disoriented. It’s still pitch black outside, far quieter than when you first fell asleep. The clock on your nightstand reads it’s 3:17 am, though it feels like you’ve only been in bed for five minutes.
Then you see him—he’s twitching in his sleep on the far side of the bed, his painful grunts reaching your ears. Most of what he says is unintelligible, but there’s one word he keeps repeating over and over again without fail: “No.”
You don’t usually have nightmares. What’s the best way to wake someone from one? You’re still thinking when he starts mumbling again, his voice thick with distress, and now he’s throwing his arms in the air as if he were fighting off something—or someone—in his dreams.
Pressing your hands to his cheeks, you attempt to hold his face steady. He clenches his fists, his breath quickening the more he battles whatever’s haunting him. “Logan,” you whisper at first, subtly shaking his shoulders, but his eyebrows stay furrowed, deep in his nightmare. This time, you tighten your grip, fully sitting on top of him. “Logan. Logan! Wake up!”
Without warning, you’re on your back, pinned against the mattress. Logan’s straddling your hips, caging you in with his body, the weight of his adamantium skeleton pressing down. Your hands are trapped beneath his, and you watch as he clenches his jaw, teeth bared in a way that looks painful. His eyes are so dark and wild you barely recognize him, prominent veins throbbing in his neck with each labored breath he takes.
“Logan,” your own voice sounds unnatural, forced, as you do your best to bring him back to reality. “It’s me. You’re alright.”
That seems to get through him. Logan stares at you in disbelief, his eyes softening as they take in your terrified expression. He abruptly pulls away, retreating to the nearest wall. He’s gasping for air, slamming his eyes shut, his legs trembling. The only sound you can hear is his rapid breathing. You get up from the bed, taking a step in his direction, but you don’t manage to go any further since he stops you with a shout.
“Stay right there!” he’s growling, pointing his finger at you. “I’m serious. Don’t come any closer.”
“Logan…”
“Please, no!” his voice increases in pitch, not being able to meet your eyes. “Please. Just stay there.”
You comply, not wanting to upset him any further. Sitting back on your knees, you try to appear calm. A man so strong, capable of things you can’t even understand. A weapon turned against himself now stands before you, pushing you away as if his presence were poisonous. He slumps to the floor, the fabric of his vest soaked with sweat.
Once he’s fully conscious, you cautiously crawl toward him, watching his every move. On a random day, this might have been funny for both of you, but right now, there’s no room for laughter. Logan shakes his head, his shoulders tensing when you reach out to hug him, wrapping your arms around his broad frame. It takes him a couple of minutes, but eventually, his body sags against yours. For a while, neither of you speaks. You just thread your fingers through his hair, hoping the closeness will help soothe him. “Feeling better?” you whisper in the shell of his ear, and he pulls back to look you in the eye. You caress his cheek, his stubble rough against your skin. “Welcome back.”
“I’m sorry,” it’s the first thing he says, covering your hand with his. One by one, he kisses your knuckles, still shaking his head. “I don’t know what came over me.”
“You had a nightmare—it’s not like you could control it.”
“But I could’ve hurt you,” he says, lowering his gaze to your wrists, where his fingerprints have left their mark. “God. I’m so sorry. I have to go.”
“Wait!” you grab his arm, your mouth setting in a hard line, stopping him from leaving. “Don’t run away from me, not now. Don’t push me away, Logan.”
“I could’ve done something much worse.”
“But you didn’t. It was a nightmare, baby. You didn’t know,” you kiss his forehead, hoping to talk some sense into him. “Please, stay. Let’s try to get some more sleep.”
“What if—”
You hold his face close to yours, your noses brushing. “You won’t hurt me.”
This time, he lets you keep him close, the roles now reversed. You can see him fighting his exhaustion, not wanting to fall asleep. But the more you play with his hair, the harder it is for him to stay awake.
“I’m alright,” he says, seemingly reading your mind. It’s hard to tell whether he’s reassuring you or himself.
“I know,” you knead his shoulder, aiming to ease the tension knotted there. “You better sleep, or I might start rambling again.”
A faint, tired hum escapes him, at long last allowing his eyes to close. “I like hearing you talk,” he murmurs, his breath warm against your collarbone, drifting off soon after that.
You continue to hug him, feeling the weight of his body gradually relax against yours as his breathing evens out. The room is quiet, but your mind is far from it: a tornado of emotions swirls within you—concern, relief, love, and something else you can’t quite decipher. It isn’t until sleep finally claims you too that your brain stops going a hundred kilometers an hour.
The most surreal Sunday night of your whole life.
“So… when will you let me see Lolo again?”
Wade’s question makes you stop mid-pour, flicking your eyes between the drink and him. A few seats away, you hand a glass to Adam. Returning to where Wade’s currently sitting, you dry your hands on your apron. “Why are you even here?” you ask, raising an eyebrow, and he gives half a shrug. “Last time I checked, I wasn’t holding him against his will.”
“He’s been crashing at your place almost every night. You have your own methods, woman,” he raises one finger, then quickly adds another, pointing at your shirt. “Two methods, in fact.”
At that, you laugh mirthlessly, shaking your head with a grin. “I’m surprised anyone would willingly date you.”
“I could ask you the same thing,” he retorts, taking a tentative sip of his beer and leaning back in his chair.
You glance at him while you wipe down the bar, looking for something to occupy your hands. “He’s not my boyfriend—yet.”
Wade mimics a punch in his chest, just where his heart’s supposed to be, though you’re starting to question whether he has one. His lips form a small, exaggerated pout. “That must hurt, doll. You got yourself into a situationship with a goddamn fossil. Good luck getting out of that.”
“It’s not that bad,” you say, rolling your eyes. “We’re cool this way. There’s absolutely no need for a title.”
“Okay, let’s rehearse that one more time because you look like you’re about to cry,” he lifts an eyebrow, drawing nearer. “You want the title, right?”
“I don’t.”
He props his chin on his hand, laughing at you. “Yes, you do. You can’t fool me.”
“I said I don’t.”
“I said I don’t,” he mocks you, kicking his legs and puckering his lips.
You can’t help but throw the towel down on the counter with irritation, giving in. “Okay! Of course, I want the fucking title.”
“There she is!” he exclaims, throwing his hands up in a triumphant gesture. “Glad we’re speaking the truth now,” he tilts his head to the side, noticing your sudden silence. “Hey, drop the long face. I’m sure he’s been thinking about it. In order to understand Logan, I usually compare him to elders over ninety.”
“Why would you do that?” you ask, your tone a mix of mild annoyance and curiosity.
“Just think about it! Senior citizens didn’t date for too long in the past. They’d go straight from strangers to lovers. Take my grandparents, for example: in the span of one year, they met at a party, then got married, and had five kids. Do you really want to have a litter of Logan’s grumpy, hairy puppies?”
“Wade, that’s not even possible.”
“The point is,” he continues, finishing his beer and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, “Logan’s rusty in this area, alright? I’d bet a thousand dollars he probably dated Cleopatra.”
“How did you pass History in high school?”
“I never graduated, but keep that between us,” he lifts his shoulders, shrugging. He spins the empty bottle, contemplating his next words. “You should tell him how you feel and what you want. That’s what works best for Vanessa and me. It’s easier that way—you can’t expect him to just guess.”
You wrap your arms around yourself. “I just wish he’d realize it on his own.”
“Well, sometimes you need to give the other person a bit of guidance. I’m just laying out the basics of a relationship here. Did your parents hate each other or something?”
The irony of it all. “They got divorced when I was little.”
“Oh, god,” Wade sighs, rubbing his temples before glancing at you. “Let me get this straight: Mommy and Daddy weren’t exactly the poster children for love. And you also happen to be a bartender. Anything else, honey? Please tell me you’re at least getting laid, because otherwise, I’m going to feel tremendously sorry for you and your mental health.”
Just then, you hear your name being called. Smiling at Wade, you mumble: “Saved by the bell.” Once you’re back from taking some orders, Wade jumps to his feet, coming around the counter to hug you.
“Dude, what’s the matter with you?” you ask, loosely returning the hug.
“You’re a fucking survivor,” he whispers in your ear, genuinely sounding concerned. “I don’t know how you do it—you seem so put together. I would’ve lost it by now. A life without sex sounds awful.”
“Jesus, Wade! Get off!” you stretch your arm to punch him in the back, earning a groan from him. “Back to your seat, gentleman. I certainly don’t need your pity.”
“I’m a certified sexologist. Your secret’s safe with me,” he declares with a smirk, gesturing to his empty beer. “But first, I’m gonna need more of this tasty apple juice.”
“I hope you’ve got some cash on you,” you say, getting him another beer. “Why do I get the feeling Logan would kill us if he knew we’re talking about this?”
“Isn’t that what makes it even better?”
Swaying on your feet, you scrunch your nose, momentarily lost in thought. “He won’t let me touch him. I don’t know if it’s me that does something wrong. We do have our… moments, but he takes care of himself. And usually in the bathroom.”
Wade goes white in front of you. “How long has this been going on?”
“Over a month.”
“Oh. That’s bad, like, really bad.”
“Thanks! I’ll be sleeping on the highway tonight. You can always join me.”
“Doll, it’s nothing that can’t be fixed, alright?” he waves his hand dismissively, then sets his palms flat on the counter. “I know I’m starting to sound like a broken record, but talking to him is your best bet. This isn’t something you can just brush under the carpet. You’re like a goddamn radio—put it to good use.”
Just as you’re about to reply, you spot Logan entering the bar. You raise a hand in greeting, waving at him. He meets your gaze and smiles briefly, and so your eyes drift to Wade’s, shooting him a warning look. “If you keep this to yourself, I won’t charge you for today,” you mutter through gritted teeth, to which he answers by pretending to zip his mouth closed.
Logan takes a seat next to him, ignoring his presence. Instead, he focuses entirely on you. “Hey, kid.”
“Hey, homey.”
“Hiya, Wade,” Wade greets himself with a mock cheer, patting his own back, which makes you laugh. He turns to Logan and his whole face lights up. “I’m afraid to tell you I can’t sleep when you’re not around.”
Logan rolls his eyes. “Get your shit together.”
“You’re the worst roommate ever! Can’t believe you got yourself a girl and completely forgot about your bro,” Wade murmurs under his breath, just as his phone rings. “Thank God. I’ve got to go. My love nugget’s calling,” he announces, heading for the door. Before leaving, Wade blows the two of you a kiss. “I hate you both, but I also love you. Peace out, my friends!”
Logan and you exchange glances. “He’s a funny guy, isn’t he?”
“You could say that,” he replies, leaning in to kiss you on the lips. Logan intends to deepen the kiss, but you pull away after a couple of seconds. He frowns, clearly confused. “That’s how you greet me?”
You bite your lip, trying to suppress a giggle. “My tip jar is practically empty, and I hate to say it, but it’s your fault.”
“Do you want me to say I’m sorry?”
“Oh, no.”
“Good, ‘cause I’m not,” he plants a quick kiss on your cheek, making you smile. “You have classes tomorrow, right?”
“Yeah, at 9 am,” you almost grunt, not feeling too enthusiastic about it. “I’m gonna need your help. I can’t sleep through my alarm, okay? The professor said tomorrow’s class is an important one. Midterms are right around the corner, and I can’t take the liberty of failing them.”
“That won’t happen,” he assures you, and you believe him. “I can be of help, don’t worry. You won’t oversleep.”
Oh, Logan. Sweet, lying Logan.
Turns out you ended up oversleeping. Twenty-five years on this earth, and you still haven’t learned not to trust a man, even if his puppy-dog eyes silently beg you to do otherwise. The thing is—you love them. You love men. And you’re especially fond of the one currently sleeping in your bed.
The first rays of sunshine hit your face, waking you up. You attempt to raise a hand to shield your eyes, but moving any limbs feels like a Herculean task. A warm body is pressed against your back, one veiny arm draped over your stomach. Logan remains fast asleep behind you, his steady breathing succeeding in making you feel at ease. You reach back, running your fingers through his messy hair, and he grumbles in his sleep, instinctively pulling you closer.
What a nice, domestic morning. Yep, you’re getting used to this. And nope, you don’t regret it, not even in the slightest bit.
Though there must be a mistake, because you’re preeeeetty sure you had something important to do.
Oh. You have classes. Had—past tense.
You reach for your nightstand, blindly groping for your phone. The charger is lying on the floor, the plastic of it all damaged. Perhaps Earnest had chewed on it while you were sleeping? You gently pry Logan’s arm off you, sitting up, and your bleary eyes land on something barely peeking out from under the bed.
It’s your fucking phone. The screen is completely shattered, with three distinct holes in the middle of it. Three holes, how strange! You can’t help but wonder who might have left them. Clutching your pillow, you whack Logan in the face with it. “Rise and shine, Sleeping Beauty!”
He groans, trying to take the pillow away from you. “What the fuck is wrong with you, kid?”
“I wish I had a UNO reverse card because I should be the one asking you that!” you jab your finger into his chest, showing him the ruined phone. “You broke my fucking phone!”
“What?” he asks, voice laden with sleep, still disoriented. He holds the phone, carefully scrutinizing it. “I think I don’t know how to hit the snooze button.”
“No shit, Sherlock. I believe you’ve made that very clear,” you huff, tossing the phone aside as you flop back onto the mattress. The clock on your nightstand says 11:05 am, and you cover your face with your hands, taking a deep breath. “Next time, when it goes off, just wake me up and I’ll do it.”
Logan settles beside you, resting his head on his forearm as he watches you. “I’m sorry, bub. I’ll get you a new one.”
“It’s fine,” you murmur, sighing. This is your free ticket to be a menace. “I should’ve known dinosaurs and phones would never get along. My bad, pal.”
You don’t even get to see his reaction because he starts tickling you, the room filling with your laughter. Squealing, you try to wriggle away, but his fingers dig into your ribs, expertly finding your most ticklish spots. Your giggles escalate into breathless laughter, your eyes squeezed shut as you desperately attempt to push him away. He’s relentless, chuckling when his own laughter bubbles up.
“L-logan, stop!” you gasp between fits of laughter, aiming to grasp his hands.
“We dinosaurs love tickling people. Sorry, sweetheart,” he manhandles you until you’re perched on his lap, fisting the fabric of your (his) shirt. Leaning forward, he captures your mouth in a heated kiss. “I’m sorry about the phone,” he slurs the words against your cheek, his lips trailing down to your neck. You tell him that it’s okay, trying to find a comfortable position on top of him, and that’s when his thigh presses against your core, your eyes widening at the unexpected sensation. Logan’s no fool, noticing the way your breath hitches. “What’s wrong, baby? You woke up needy?”
“No, I just—” you trail off as he does it again, his strong thigh coming in contact with your clothed cunt. You search for leverage by placing your hands on his shoulders, glancing at him. “Logan.”
“I’m all ears,” he rests his back against the headboard, the tent in his boxers impossible to ignore. “You want to get off on my thigh,” he states with certainty. It’s not a question—it’s a full-on statement. He knows what you want, what you crave. “Come on then. Grind against it.”
You do as he says, not caring to think twice. You start moving, rubbing your wet pussy against his muscular thigh. The friction sends jolts of pleasure through you, and soon, you’re whimpering his name, your hands trailing down his abs. Why hadn’t you tried this before? It feels fucking amazing.
From his position, Logan stares at you, his lips slightly parted, eyes clouded with lust. Your arousal drenches your panties, soaking through them, the fabric clinging to his coarse leg hair. He glances down at the mess you’re making, his grin widening as he takes in the sight. “Goddamn, woman. I’m gonna make you clean it off, I swear to God.”
“Need your help,” you whisper, lowering your head, the heat in your cheeks intensifying. The coil tightening inside you is almost unbearable. A kiss is what you lean in for, desperate for more, though Logan appears to have other plans. He fists your hair, pulling at your nape and yanking your head back. The roughness of the movement pulls a moan from your lips, your mouth parched like a desert.
“Eyes up here, okay? You look at me when I make you come,” his raspy voice makes you feel tingly, each word sending shivers down your spine. His hands fiercely grab the flesh of your hips, guiding you, helping you grind harder against his thigh. You think you’re on the verge of drooling when you catch the way his abdomen flexes, working to push you toward that long-awaited release. “That’s it, there you go,” he rasps, relishing the sounds he’s eliciting from you, each of your gasps feeding his desire.
Time slows as the warmth in your belly finally erupts, your eyes fighting to stay open through the aftershocks of your orgasm. No actual words leave your mouth, just a string of whines and moans, some carrying Logan’s name. He swallows every single sound you make, everything you give him, grunting as your legs tremble and shake atop him.
He lets you collapse onto your back, your breathing gradually evening out. “I think I saw fireworks behind my lids,” you confess, your mouth dry, expecting Logan to flop onto the mattress beside you. But he doesn’t. Through your blurry vision, you contemplate as he positions himself between your parted legs, getting dangerously close to your cunt. “Logan, what are you— Oh, fuck,” you moan mid-sentence when you feel him pulling your panties aside to lick a slow strip through your folds, collecting your arousal. He points his tongue, dipping it into your entrance, and you wince, squirming. “Santa Claus, is that you?”
Logan grins against you, closing his mouth around clit for a moment. He then shifts until he’s eye-to-eye with you, two of his fingers sliding into you in one smooth motion. “Give me another one,” he murmurs, his other hand slipping under your shirt to play with your nipples, pinching them.
You never imagined two fingers could bring such intense pleasure. You just lie there, taking it like a good girl, as Logan sometimes call you. “Please, I need you,” you cry out, your fingernails scraping against his torso.
“I know, darlin’. I’m right here,” he rasps against your temple, moving his fingers in and out of you with more enthusiasm. But what he doesn’t understand is that you need all of him. Your hands itch to touch him, to feel the weight of his cock. The corners of his mouth turn up as he watches you struggle to find words. “Wish you could see yourself like this. Such a pretty girl, so gorgeous like this,” his fingers keep grazing that bundle of joy deep inside you, and he goes in for a kiss, the sour taste of your slick invading your taste buds. “Tightest pussy I’ve ever had. Need to stretch you real good before fucking you with my cock.”
Bingo! That last sentence does it for you, and you come for the second time in the morning, your cunt clenching and spasming around his fingers. You hide your face in his neck, mouthing at his Adam’s apple. He hasn’t trimmed his beard in days, and it shows because you can now feel a burning sensation on the soft skin of your inner thighs.
“You’re allowed to break all my phones from now on,” you suggest, only to hear Logan’s laughter in your ear. He snakes a hand through your hair, shoving it back away from your face. You feel him kiss your sweaty forehead, and as you press yourself closer to his body, something hard nudges your hipbone.
Absentmindedly, you trace the waistband of his boxers with your index finger, your eyes snapping to his face. Logan freezes on the spot, and it’s almost as if he’s stopped breathing. Without a word, he rises from the bed, his movements sudden and almost mechanical. You watch him, puzzled, as he heads toward the bathroom, the intimacy of just moments ago being abruptly replaced by a dreadful silence.
“Logan, is everything okay? Do you need something?” you ask and he pauses at the bathroom door, his back to you. For a brief second, you think he might actually open up, but when he turns around, his expression is neutral, masking whatever thoughts are running through his mind. At last, he flashes you a quick smile.
“I’m fine,” he says, his tone gentle but distant. “Just gonna take a shower. Then we can have breakfast together, right?”
You nod, his words easing the growing sense of frustration gnawing at you. He disappears into the bathroom, and the sound of running water soon follows. You sink back into the bed, staring up at the ceiling. You take your pillow and bury your face in it, letting out a muffled groan. There’s something he isn't telling you, something hidden deep beneath his usual gruff exterior. Although you try to piece together the fragments of his behavior, they don’t quite fit.
The minutes drag on, and the sound of the shower becomes a distant, constant background noise. You close your eyes, visualizing your happy place, but your thoughts keep spiraling. All you can do is wait—wait for him to come back and act as if nothing had happened.
Logan’s right there, just a few feet away—yet in moments like these, he feels miles apart. It’s one of those days in which, no matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to bridge that distance.
It had all started with you asking Logan “Have you ever watched (500) Days of Summer?”
Of course, he had refused to watch the movie at first, and of course, you had threatened him with phoning Wade to let him know that Logan wanted to have a sleepover. That had done the trick.
You had asked for a day off at the bar, and surprisingly, your boss hadn’t objected. That turn of events led to this moment: sprawled out on the couch with Logan, the two of you watching the final minutes of your favorite film. Logan takes a long drag of his cigar, eyes trained intently on the screen. He’s only wearing sweatpants, which had caused your attention to drift from the plot a few times. The fact that you managed to sit through the entire movie without needing to pause it makes you feel particularly invincible.
Hey.
You again.
Yeah. I, uh, was just wondering if maybe after this, if, um, you— you want to get some coffee or something.
Oh, I’m sorry. I’m sort of supposed to meet someone after this.
Okay.
“That poor fella,” Logan murmurs, taking a slow sip of his beer. You look up at him from where your head rests on his lap, a contented smile playing on your lips. His fingers absently stroke your hair.
“Just wait,” you say, pointing to the screen of your laptop.
Sure.
What’s that?
Why not?
Okay. Well, then I’ll just, uh— I’ll wait for you.
We— we’ll figure it out.
We’ll figure it out.
“They’ll figure it out!” you exclaim, but Logan quickly shushes you, his attention unwavering.
My name’s Tom.
Nice to meet you. I’m Autumn.
When the movie comes to an end, you’re met with Joseph Gordon-Levitt breaking the fourth wall, staring straight at the audience as if he knows he’s about to get himself into a mess with another girl named after a season. You sit up, your eyes eagerly searching for Logan’s. “So? Did you like it? I’ve watched it seven times now. Can’t understand how it gets better each time.”
Logan closes his mouth around his cigar, inhaling deeply before answering. “Yeah, it was pretty good,” he says, his hand finding your cheek, thumb brushing softly against your skin. “Summer’s a bitch, though.”
“I respectfully disagree,” you tell him, grabbing his beer and giving it a try, only to grimace at the taste. Shuddering, you set it back down. “Why don’t you like her character?”
“Well, for starters, she did Tom dirty. Played with him like he was a damn rag doll.”
You raise an eyebrow, hugging a cushion closer to your chest as you lean back into the couch. “He knew from the beginning she didn’t want to be his girlfriend. Summer was clear—Tom just though he was smart enough to change her mind.”
“They acted like boyfriend and girlfriend the whole movie,” he scorns, placing his cigar down into the ashtray with a bit more force than necessary.
Is your first argument going to be over a movie? Exciting.
“Logan, they weren’t even official.”
“But she made it seem like they were,” he insists, the frustration in his voice growing.
“They were in a situationship—the perfect example, really. That’s not the same as being a couple.”
His gaze dips to the floor, brows knitted in a deep frown. “I think you’re relying on the technicality that they never used those titles. I mean, they did everything together. Isn’t that what normal couples do?”
Lord have mercy.
“Logan, who am I to you?” you inquire, crossing your arms over your chest.
He hesitates, narrowing his eyes, the question clearly catching him off guard. “You are—what? I don’t understand. Is this some kind of mind game you’re playing?”
“It’s actually very simple: if someone were to ask you about me, what would you say? Am I a friend? A bartender?” you inch forward, holding your breath, your tone faltering slightly. Meanwhile, Logan’s hands tighten into fists at his sides. “A fling? Your girlfriend? You complain so much about Summer, yet you can’t even name what we have.”
The living room falls into a heavy silence. Logan blinks slowly, his forehead creasing as he processes your words. “Why are you doing this to me?”
“Because these are the kinds of conversations we need to have. I understand you don’t want to have them, but I do.”
“Fine. Then tell me what it is that you want,” he asks, his mouth snapping shut when he sees you snorting in response.
“I don’t— I don’t know! To know how you feel, if possible?” you stand up from the couch, taking the cushion with you. You grind your jaw, gnawing on your bottom lip. “Why is it that every time I try to touch you, you push me away?”
He scrunches up his face, mirroring your movements and rising from his seat. “Bub, can we please talk about this tomorrow—”
“No! You don’t get to make all the choices, that’s not fair. Deciphering you isn’t easy, Logan. I’m not asking you to tell me everything you’ve been through. I just wish I could know how you feel about me. I can’t stand in front of you and pretend I don’t mind where this is going, because I’m more than sure I’m falling in love with you. “
“You can’t. You shouldn’t,” he says, his expression hardening. He turns his back to you, running his hands over his face in frustration before heading to the kitchen.
“Well, what were you expecting?” you follow him into the kitchen, finding Earnest on top of the fridge, beholding the scene with a curious gaze. “You basically moved in here, gave me a free trial of what life with you might be like, and now you have the audacity to appear surprised when I tell you I’ve caught feelings?” salty tears start rolling down your cheeks, and you spread your arms wide in exasperation. “Oh, but you’re right. How could I’ve been this stupid, to fall for the damned Wolverine!” you laugh bitterly, expecting him to break eye contact, but he doesn’t. “You think you’re so bad, so broken. Guess what: you’re not, because I love you, and I couldn’t care less about your past. You may think you’re unlovable, but you’re not, you hear me?”
For a heartbeat, the world seems to pause. And so he says:
“You are the most exasperating person I know.”
“Wow. Thank you so much!” you retort, your voice dripping with sarcasm. You run a hand through your hair, infuriated. “That makes me feel better!”
“Let me do the talking now,” he says, taking long strides toward you, and the proximity makes you lower your head. “You’re not getting the final say today. Just because I’m not over-sharing my feelings all the time doesn’t mean I don’t have them! In fact, I do. I may not express them openly, but they exist. And I wish you could see inside my head! You’d be delighted at how much time I spend thinking about you,” you cackle at his words, rolling your eyes. His fingers grip your chin, forcing you to meet his gaze. “There hasn’t been a single moment since the day we met that I have stopped wanting you. Your voice is like a goddamn radio that, no matter what I do, I can’t turn off. It’s like I’m infected by you, and I hate it!” his eyes burn with a mix of anger and affectionpur, his pursed lips softening as he continues. “No good ever comes from caring this much about someone. So excuse me for being scared of ruining the only good thing that’s happened to me in years!”
You hit him with the cushion—not with enough force to make him hurt, but enough to make a point.
“Drop it, kid.”
“I’m—” you hit him again, “not—” and again, “stupid. I know what I’m getting myself into,” as you attempt to raise the cushion once more, Logan takes it from your hands, throwing it on the counter. Your shoulders sag, trying to find the strength to keep going. “And I know for a fact,” you add, glancing at his conflicted eyes, “that the easiest thing for me would be to walk away from you, but I can’t. It’s too fucking late.”
“You don’t know what you’re saying.”
“I do! These are my feelings, okay? Mine, not yours. You don’t have the right to decide who I love and who I don’t.”
Logan’s eyes squint, scanning your face. “You’re… obnoxious.”
“Yeah, tell me something I don’t know.”
“And I—I love you,” he confesses, his nostrils flaring with emotion. Opening your mouth to say something, you close it moments later, your gaze locked on his. “You could take what you said, pretend as if I didn’t exist, and I wouldn’t say a thing, y’understand? I would move cities if you asked me, because I love you that fucking much, and I want you to be happy.”
You reach for his hand, briefly intertwining your fingers with his. Looking at him through your eyelashes, you rub your fingers over his stubble. “And what if my happiness comes from being with you?”
Logan lets out a harsh breath, his arm curling around your waist, pressing his chest to yours. “I can’t promise I’ll be the perfect boyfriend. I’ll probably makeplenty of mistakes.”
“Fine with me.”
“And you’ll be mad at me. A lot.”
“Don’t worry about that. I’ll make sure it’s mutual.”
Both of you laugh then, and you’re taken aback when he brushes his nose against your cheek, silently seeking permission to kiss you. His lips move hungrily against yours, trailing his hands down your spine, pulling you closer. He breaks the kiss and laughs at your eagerness when you chase after his mouth. You end up perched on his lap as he settles into one of your kitchen chairs. Logan stares into your eyes, his gaze drifting lower. “I won’t push you away this time. Not anymore.”
That’s your cue to finally do what you’ve been yearning for weeks. You fall to your knees in front of him, shaky fingers that graze the hairs on his happy trail. The bulge in his sweatpants is close to your face, and your mouth waters at the thought of having him between your lips. “Can I?” you ask, your voice a touch higher.
He draws a long breath, tilting his head slightly. “You may, baby.”
You pull at his sweatpants and boxers, sliding them down his legs just enough to free his hard cock. As you take a look at it, you find yourself at a loss for words, the sight overwhelming. Nothing could’ve prepared you for the first taste of his precum as you envelop his head between your lips, that musky scent of his hitting you.
A whimper escapes you, and Logan hisses when you run your tongue along the slit, his hands gripping the back of your neck tightly. “Fuck, darlin’. Thought about your mouth so many times, but never imagined it’d feel this good,” he cants his hips up, causing your movements to stutter. “You can take a bit more, can’t you?” his question ends with a guttural grunt, his fingers tightening on your hair. “Gotta show me how much you want this.”
Logan takes all that you give him. You lower your head further, taking in another inch of him. Sex’s supposed to feel good, but this? It feels even greater. And he’s not even inside you yet, you hear a voice murmur in your head. The hand on your nape encourages you to move faster, and you sneak a hand between your bodies, grasping him by the base. You swallow around him, eyes fluttering open when he tugs sharply at your hair..
“Thaaaat’s it, honey. Just like that, want you to choke on it,” he grumbles, running his mouth just the way you like. The tip of his cock nudges the back of your throat and tears fill your eyes. You pull away to catch your breath, still stroking him as you regain composure. Logan’s gaze is intense, and he stares into your soul, his chest heaving. “What’s wrong, sweetheart? Dick got your tongue?”
You’ll definitely get back to that joke later.
“Will you—can you—”
“Come on, beautiful. I don’t have all day.”
God, you love it when he’s mean.
“Fuck my throat,” you plead, your voice barely above a whisper.
A smile dangles on the corner of his lips. “We both know you can be nicer.”
The fucker makes your pulse race. “Can you fuck my throat?” you ask again, more insistently. “Please.”
He guides himself into your mouth, smirking as he watches how your eyes roll back in pleasure. “How polite of you to say please. Some good manners you’ve got.”
You whimper around him, your body responding to the rhythm he sets, fully immersed in the intensity of the moment. And for a while, you drift away, losing your sanity with each thrust of his hips, every tug at your hair. It’s almost impossible not to compare him to your past hookups. You try to recall at least a single instance when another man made you feel this way, but no memory surfaces.
Time seems to stretch and warp. You don’t really know when it happens—he pulls you off his cock, cradling your face, examining you. “You fucking love that, don’t you?” he asks with that sweet, syrupy voice, brushing away your tears. There’s no room left for embarrassment, so you nod, closing your mouth around his thumb. Defeated, Logan shakes his head, pressing his finger against your tongue. “I was planning on coming on your mouth, but I think I’ve got a better idea.”
In the blink of an eye, you’re in your bedroom. Not even a metaphor—he picks you up and basically runs to your room, closing the door behind him. You prop yourself on your forearms, trying to process what’s about to happen. Logan, already naked, climbs onto the bed after you, He kisses you slowly, tracing the curves of your body. “You still want this?”
“I do. I’m just… nervous, that’s all,” you admit, flashing him a quick smile. “It’s been two years of celibacy for me. Will it fit?” you ask, glancing down at his cock, and Logan stares at you in confusion. “Also, how many girlfriends have you had? Just curious.”
“I don’t think this is the time for that conversation.”
“You’re right,” you agree, lying back on the mattress, bracing yourself for what’s to come. “Were they pretty?”
“Bub.”
“Yes?”
“Shut up,” he replies with a smirk. “Focus on me, okay?”
Despite your tries to crack jokes at the worst possible moment, things escalate pretty quickly. Logan’s got three fingers inside you, pumping them in and out. He’s already made you come once with his mouth—to get you more relaxed, he had said. Wanting sounds slip past your lips as he doesn’t miss the chance to hit that spot that makes you squeeze your legs together. The tip of his nose drags long lines up and down the skin of your neck, mouthing at your jaw.
“I’m ready,” you mumble after some minutes, reaching for his cock and stroking him. “Let’s break the bed.”
“You’re lucky you’re this cute,” he says, catching your lips in a kiss. “Condom?”
“Negative, Sergeant.”
“You don’t have any?”
You shake your head, biting the inside of your cheek. “I don’t want you to use one.”
The way his gaze darkens doesn’t go unnoticed by you. His hand guides your face toward his cock. “Get me wet,” he commands, and you oblige, sucking him into your mouth. You hum around him, unable to contain yourself, and you hear Logan chuckling above you. “Can’t believe this is what it takes for you to shut up. Gotta keep your mouth full all the time.”
Once he’s satisfied with the way you’ve slicked him, he positions himself over you, caging you between his arms. Logan pins you down with his body, his hot breath mingling with yours. When you stare into his eyes, all you see is pure love, and your heart swells with affection. “Will you fuck the bad jokes out of me?”
Logan laughs, rubbing his length along your folds, grazing your clit for a fleeting second. “I sure as hell will,” he assures you, lining himself up with your wet entrance. He looks into your eyes for approval. “Ready?”
“I was born rea— Fuck!” you nearly scream as his head breaches you, your eyes squeezing shut. Turns out his fingers weren’t enough. “Fucking mutant dick.”
“You’ll love it, believe me,” he husks next to your ear. His arms shake where they rest on each side of your head, seemingly as affected as you are. Logan pulls out, and then fucks into you with a little more force. “How are you still so tight? You’re killin’ me here.”
“I’ve got no idea, but you feel—amazing,” you gasp, latching onto his back, holding him close to you. His thrusts gain strength, and suddenly he’s bottoming inside you. “Oh, god. I can feel you in my stomach.”
“I know, baby, I know. Can feel it too,” he curls one of his hands around your throat, keeping you in place. From his position, he can watch the way your face contorts in pleasure. Lowering his head to envelop one of your nipples between his lips, he sucks hard. “You were desperate enough to get on your knees in the damn kitchen. You’ll be good now too, am I right?”
“Yes. Yes. I can be good,” you pant, eyes wide and pleading. “Anything you want. Just don’t stop.”
“I’m not stoppin’, princess. Don’t worry,” his mouth curves into a wicked grin as he drives into you again, this time even deeper. His hand on your throat tightens slightly, just enough to make you feel the pressure, grounding you in the moment. “That’s my girl,” he murmurs against your chest, his voice laden with need.
Each thrust has you gasping, your body arching off the bed to meet his. Logan’s grip on your neck loosens as his hand slides down to grasp your hip. He squeezes your tender flesh, pulling you harder against him, as if he can’t get close enough. The bed creaks under the intensity, but you barely notice, too far lost in the rhythm of his movements.
“You’re perfect, all I’ve ever wanted,” he slips his free hand between your bodies to find your clit, and the moment his fingers make contact with it, you can’t help but whine. “So fuckin’ perfect,” you hear him repeat, more to himself than to you, his voice stranded as he tries to hold himself back, letting you chase your own release first.
The pressure inside you builds up, tightening with every skilled flick of his fingers. You’re sure you must look like a mess, sweaty and sticky, though the way he looks at you makes you forget everything else. “Logan, I’m—” you croak, the wind being knocked out of your lungs with each relentless thrust. “I think I’m gonna come.”
He picks up speed, snapping his hips faster. “I’ve got you, let go for me. I’ll take care of you, baby, I swear,” his pace becomes erratic, digging his fingers into the softness of your thighs as the headboard keeps slamming against the wall. Your body obeys him, a shuddering release tearing through you, moaning Logan’s name and gripping him like a vice. “That’s it, fuck, that’s it,” he doesn’t stop, driving you through your orgasm. His eyes snap to your face, contemplating how wrecked you look. “Tell me where—please, sweetheart.”
“Inside.”
“What?”
“I said inside. Come inside me, Logan.”
He’s not strong enough to deny you such a thing. Logan buries himself to the hilt, groaning your name as his cock twitches and paints your walls with his thick seed. Beside your head, his claws unsheate, tearing into the pillow. He ruts against you, his body trembling and writhing against yours, already apologizing for the pillow incident while pressing his forehead to your shoulder. “Sorry, I’m sorry. That hasn’t happened in a while.”
When Logan collapses beside you, he pulls you into his arms, kissing you eagerly. You return the kiss, wincing as you feel a bit of his cum slip out of you, rolling down your thighs. He stares at your glistening cunt without an ounce of remorse, and you close your legs. “That’s private.”
“It wasn’t very private a minute ago.”
“Logan?”
“Tell me, bub.”
“Knock, knock.”
He must truly love you, because he plays along: “Who’s there?”
“Ice cream.”
“Ice cream who?”
“Ice cream for you all night long.”
“Guess I didn’t succeed in fuckin’ the bad jokes out of you,” he teases softly, letting his head fall back on the bed. “But it’s fine. I’ll just have to keep tryin’.”
This is the story of how you end up dating a man who’s two hundred years old. But it’s also the story of how that same man learns to let his guard down and open his heart. So, remember this, kids: the sky’s the limit, especially when it comes to love—and yes, even when it involves dating mutants.

we're dating? ♡
logan howlett x fem!mutant!reader
One-shot A/N: I've decided using the same X-men name/powers for the reader in my Logan fics is easier because coming up with superpowers is hard and stupid. They call you flux, like once, it's really just a nickname incoming warning for fluff so bad you'll get a cavity Summary: You're on probation from the team and official house arrest after a little accident with your powers. Logan knows you're going stir-crazy so he takes you to the arcade for some fun. And then your friendship takes a weird turn. (80's timeline in mind, but characters not from the 80’s will be mentioned) Clueless!reader
You’d had an accident, a few weeks ago. Well, accident might be downplaying it too much. You’d destroyed the garden and left a ten-foot crater in the backyard of Charles’ prestigious grounds. In your defense, you had warned them all that it wasn’t a good idea to take your cuffs off.
The metal bands are entirely necessary to make sure you can’t lose control and wipe out everything around you. Manipulation at an atomic level is beyond fatal. You don’t want to think about what would have happened if you’d had the meltdown and the kids were anywhere near you.
Charles had been able to shut you down, but now he’s keeping you on probation. You’ve been locked up in the mansion, unable to leave until you managed to get your abilities under control. There’s never been a problem with wearing the cuffs before. You don’t understand why he’s so against them now.
You’re going stir-crazy. There’s only so many times you can pace your room before you start to lose your mind. He’s not even letting you teach classes anymore. You’re stuck training, all day, every day.
“Focus!” Charles snaps and you resist the urge to turn his bones liquid. Maybe that would get him off your back.
Instead of killing your friend, you glare at the large tank of water in front of you. You do what you’ve been doing for the past half hour. It fluctuates from liquid to gas to solid, and then liquid again. An endless cycle of repetition that makes you want to melt your brain so you don’t have to do this anymore.
You drop your hand and huff. “This is pointless, Charles. What’s this even teaching me?”
He crosses his arms, walks over to you, and pointedly glares at the tank in front of you. You roll your eyes and look back at it. “Shit,” you hiss. In your frustration, the glass has cracked and splintered into dust. Water pools around your stool and leaks through the wood of the floor. You flick your wrist, the glass swirling around you before reforming into the tank. The water follows along, droplets lifting from the floor and dropping back into the container.
“One moment of frustration, of distraction. That’s all it took.” Charles shakes his head and walks back over to his desk. He picks the cuffs up and you slip them silently back onto your wrists. “How can you be trusted to protect your team on the field if you can’t control this? What are you going to do when you’re panicked and fighting for your life?”
Shame bubbles in your gut. It makes you nauseous and forces your eyes to the floor so you don’t have to face him. He sighs, placing his hands on your shoulders and squeezing gently. You glance up at him briefly and he offers a strained smile.
“This is for your protection, as much as you hate it, Flux. It’s necessary.” You scoff at the use of your X-Men name. Not much of an X-Man if you’re not even on the field anymore.
“Right,” you mutter. “Thanks for the lesson in incompetency,” you don’t let him respond and slam the door to his office closed behind you. You feel bad the second you get outside and onto the porch. He doesn’t deserve your bitchiness. It’s your own fault you can’t get a handle on this. You don't have anyone to blame but yourself.
You let out a dramatic sigh, throwing yourself into a rocking chair and running your hands over your face. The once comforting weight of your cuffs is now oppressing. It just feels like a constant reminder of your failure. You should already have a handle on all of this, but you struggle to even manipulate water.
“Rough day?” You don’t open your eyes as Logan walks by. He takes a seat on the rocking chair beside you, letting out a low groan as he stretches.
You let your hands drop into your lap, staring at the sunset so you don’t have to face him. You’ve already dealt with enough dejection today. You don’t need to look at him and be reminded that you want him in a way you can never have.
“Mhm,” you hum, propping your head in your hand as you watch the sun disappear behind the clouds. The sky is painted in hues of pink and orange that seem too hopeful for how you feel right now.
Logan chuckles, the sound low and gravely. It makes your heart stutter in your chest and you cringe in embarrassment. You know he can hear the way your heart practically beats free of your ribs when you’re around him. You’re sure with that nose of his he can smell some sort of hormonal change in you every time you lay eyes on him.
You swear you’ve never felt this way about a man before. You haven’t had many boyfriends before, it’s not really common among mutants. Not many people are accepting of you when they know what you are. And some people are too into you.
But you've had crushes, and none of them have been as bad as this one is. You want to gnaw on him. It sounds fucking insane every time you think about it. But when you train with him and he tears his shirt off, you want to sink your teeth into him and never let go.
You feel feral around him, a side of you surfacing that you’re not used to. Maybe it’s because of his mutant abilities. They are very animalistic, it’s easy to blame that on how desperately you crave him.
You hate being around him and despise not being in his presence. It’s conflicting, and more often than not you sound like a bumbling idiot when you speak to him because your brain is going in a million different directions.
You hear the familiar click of his lighter and then he shifts again. You risk a peek over at him and regret it the second you do. His head is tilted back, eyes closed in relaxation as he stretches across the porch. Smoke leaks out of his lips as he groans in satisfaction.
You have to pick your jaw up off the floor and make sure there isn’t drool on your chin. This is insane. You’re a grown woman, how does he have this much of an effect on you? He’s not even doing anything! He’s just sitting there and you want to jump his bones.
You whip your head around, mumbling incoherently to yourself to get it together. Logan peaks an eye open and you miss the mischievous tilt to his lips. “Something wrong?”
I need to have sex with you or I’m going to explode.
You stutter for a few seconds, getting your mind back together. “Just training with Charles,” you mutter.
He sits up a little straighter and quirks a brow. When you don’t continue he sighs. “And?” He prods, impatient for your answer. You hope you’re not reading into it, but you think he’s been as disappointed by your absence from the team as you are. He always complains about being partnered up with Scott. You like to think it’s because he misses you. But you’re probably just delusional.
“And, nothing,” you sigh. Your hands flop against your legs and you glare at the bands on your wrists. “No progress. I still can’t control them without these on, and my abilities are watered down and useless with the cuffs.”
Logan huffs, you’re caught off guard by the sudden warmth on your thigh. You glance down, eyes widening ever so slightly when you see his hand on your leg. It nearly covers the whole thing and when he squeezes your thigh you think you’re going to pass out.
You’re friendly. But you’ve never been touchy. At least not like this. The placement of his palm is very intimate and you are struggling not to just get on your knees and profess your undying love. You take in a deep breath, looking up at him so you can get your heartbeat under control.
But looking at him just makes it worse. Because there is so much faith and fondness in his gaze as he looks at you. His lips are tilted up, eyes soft, and you’ve never had someone make you feel so warm and secure from just a look.
“You aren’t useless,” he tells you. He squeezes your thigh again before he retreats back to his chair. You have to clamp your jaw shut so you don’t beg him to keep touching you and never stop. “You’re just stuck in this house all day. You’ve got nothing to do but sit in your failure.”
You scoff and throw yourself back in your seat. “Don’t remind me. I’ve begged Charles to let me out.” Your gaze drifts to the crater in the backyard. Some of the kids have been working on filling it in, but whatever energy you’d let go of has left a permanent mark. “He refuses to give me permission.”
Logan laughs, the noise teasing and a little mean. Your brows furrow and you glance over at him with a questioning look. He tilts his head in disbelief like you’re an idiot. “Seriously, Flux? Just fuckin’ leave, who gives a shit?”
“Uh,” you think on it for a minute before weakly settling on, “Charles?”
His face falls and you sink lower into your seat. He looks out at the yard, gaze distant. His jaw clenches a few times before he puts the cigar out on the ashtray beside him. He gets to his feet and you think he might just leave. Instead, he turns towards you.
You’re caught off guard by the little smirk on his face. “Wanna have some fun?”
Only an idiot would say no.
You grin and place your hand in his, yelping slightly at how easily he pulls you to your feet. You stumble into his chest and are hesitant to back away when his hand drifts to rest on your waist. He looks down at you, smiling, he squeezes your waist once before he backs up.
“Come on, kid.” He tugs you inside the house, leading you downstairs to the garage. You already know what he’s going for before the door is even open.
“Didn’t Scott tell you to leave his bike alone?” Logan takes a step inside. He pauses, glancing over his shoulder and grinning at you. It makes your breath catch in your throat, the happiness on his face. You never see him like this around the others.
You hate thinking like that. Placing too much importance on your relationship with him will only lead to heartbreak down the road. But, you never see him act the way he does with you with anyone else.
“Since when have I ever listened to Cyclops, sweetheart?”
“Good point,” you mutter, moving to stand next to him.
He straddles the seat and looks over expectantly at you. “Don’t you need a helmet?”
You shake your head, “Oh, no, it’ll ruin my hair.” You laugh but he gives you a deadpan look. You don’t regenerate the way he does. An accident would be a lot more fatal for you than it would be for him. You huff, “Relax, Lo, I can use my powers.” When he looks like he’s not going to drop it, you let some energy swirl around your fingers. It solidifies the air around your skin, you reach up and flick at his skull hard enough to hear the metal ding.
He grunts, glaring down at your hand while you grin. “See,” you whisper, sliding onto the back of the bike and wrapping your arms around his waist. “I’m perfectly safe.” He shakes his head and starts the bike.
The ride to the arcade is spent in silence. Logan always seems to break every speeding law known to man whenever he takes Scott’s bike out. You’re not sure if he does it to purposefully piss the man off, but it makes you cling to him like a wild animal. You feel like if you hit one speed bump you’re going to go flying.
By the time he parks your legs feel like jello. He laughs a little at the way your face has blanched. Again, he offers you a hand and holds the door open to lead you inside. You’re trying not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but this whole thing is odd.
You guys are friends. And you’re friendlier with each other than most of the mutants in the school. But this feels different somehow. For one, Logan kind of despises the arcade. It’s an amalgamation of bad smells and loud noises, and it overwhelms his already sensitive senses. You’ve heard him complain about the smell of body odor and fake cheese enough times when you went on a field trip with the kids.
Secondly, he’s being more touchy than he normally would. You’re not complaining. You weren’t exactly hugged a lot as a kid, mainly just passed between different mutant fetish clubs. Logan isn’t known for handing hugs out so easily. But right now, he doesn’t seem to be ready to not have at least one hand on you.
Maybe he’s just cheering you up. You need to stop drifting so far into your mind and just enjoy the night. “Alright, what’s first bub?”
You grin and drag him towards the claw machine. “I’m horrible at these things,” you inform him as you put your quarters in. “But, I hold out hope that one day I’ll be able to actually beat this monster.”
Three failed attempts later, it’s become embarrassingly clear that you will never beat the claw machine. Logan isn’t even trying to hide his amusement as you become increasingly more frustrated. There’s a certain point where this game stops being fun and starts to be an affront to your character.
Logan peers into the machine and asks, “What are you going for?”
“The pigeon,” you mutter. Your tongue pokes between your lips, and your eyes narrow in concentration. You aim the claw over the pigeon perfectly and slam your hand down on the big red button.
You’re allowed five seconds of celebration before the damn thing slips out of the claws grasp and tumbles into the pile of stuffies below. “Dammit, Bart,” you let the ridiculous name you’ve come up with for the toy slip.
Logan snorts, leaning against the glass while you jam another quarter in the slot. “Bart?” He teases.
You shake your head and give him a look out the side of your eye. “What, you think I call myself Flux because I’m good at coming up with names?” You give up after the last failed attempt and turn to face him with a huff.
He clicks his tongue and shakes his head. “Tough luck, kid.” He slings an arm over your shoulder and pulls you towards the concession stand.
“Shut up,” you laugh, slapping lightly at his chest.
The rest of the night is nice. He doesn’t play much except for the strength-oriented games. And then you kind of just exploit him for more tickets. By the time you get back to the mansion, you’ve forgotten all about why you were upset in the first place.
Nothing had gone wrong, you didn’t have a total meltdown and wipe out the entire arcade. You don’t know why Charles was so afraid of letting you out.
Logan walks you back to your room, his hand heavy on your lower back as you head up the stairs. You’re talking endlessly, filling up any gap of silence with rambling you’ve lost track of. You don’t know what it is about him that invites you to yap the way you do, but you’re always embarrassed by it the second he leaves.
You reach your door and smile up at him. “Thanks, Lo.”
He gives you a soft smile, his eyes wrinkling endearingly at the corners. He reaches up and brushes some hair off your shoulder. There’s a certain shift in his expression that has your breath stopping short. Whatever else you were going to say to him tumbles off into an incomprehensible whisper.
He leans down and every inappropriate thought you’ve ever had about him suddenly surges to the front of your mind. Your lips part in anticipation, thinking he’s going to kiss you and your fantasies are going to come to life.
His lips brush against your cheek so gently you almost don’t feel them. “‘Night Flux,” he leans back and your body goes with him. He backs off with a smile, walking down the hall to his own room. You feel dazed, eyelashes fluttering rapidly as you fan your cheeks and try to come to terms with what just happened.
He didn’t kiss you, but you oddly aren’t disappointed. You go to bed that night with a lovesick grin on your face. Well, you would have. Were it not for the annoyingly British voice ringing out in your head, “Training’s at four tomorrow morning. Consider it your punishment for sneaking out.”
“Fuck,” you hiss to yourself. Stupid fucking telepaths.
You thought the arcade was a one-off moment. But Logan keeps sneaking you out of the mansion. Charles hasn’t officially lifted the house arrest, but he’s given up trying to keep you inside. Besides, you’ve essentially got a chaperone since Logan is always with you.
You make lunch for the two of you and he’ll take you out to the woods for a picnic. Or you’ll go to the movies together. Sometimes you don’t even do anything, just linger around each other. You enjoy the company, and you love having these quiet moments together with no one else around.
Your favorite part of all of this has to be the way he’s started touching you. He’s always got a hand on your leg or back. And if he can’t do that, then you’re tucked into his side. It’s feeding into a starved part of you that you’ve left neglected for far too long.
It’s only been about two weeks of these fun little adventures and odd behavior. You’re dreading the moment they’ll stop. You’re not sure when Logan’s going to deem you properly cheered up, but you’re hoping it’s not anytime soon.
There have been a few more moments where you think your friendship might turn into something more, and every time you’ve been interrupted. You’re actually starting to feel a little edged. You’ve been considering just grabbing him and planting one on him. But every time you think about it you get sick to your stomach.
You don’t want to make a move on him and end up getting rejected. You know he’s just being a good friend and taking care of you so you don’t end up spiraling too far in your head. It’s happened before, when you’ve been struggling with your abilities. He’s just keeping you from shutting down again and you don’t want to make him uncomfortable because you’re hopelessly in love.
When you walk out of your room this morning you’re immediately smacked in the face. “What the fuck, guys?” You yell at the two kids running past your room. Not the best language for someone who's supposed to be a role model. You can’t be bothered though, not when they’re running around throwing pink rolls of streamer at your face.
“Sorry!” Mary calls over her shoulder, laughing as she pins a heart up onto the wall. You’re sure Charles won’t appreciate the hole in his old ass mahogany wood. It’s only as you watch her run down the stairs that you register just what is going on.
There is pink and red everywhere. It looks like Dollar Store Cupid has thrown up all over the mansion. You’ve been so caught up in your attraction to Logan that, ironically, you’ve forgotten what month it was.
You grumble bitterly to yourself as you trudge down the stairs. Another Valentine’s Day alone and single. How lovely. You spot two kids giggling to themselves by the banister, they lean in like they’re going to kiss and you gag. “Hey!” You snap, and they jump apart, eyes wide with fear. “Quit it, get out of here.” They scramble off and you feel just a little bit vindicated.
“Not a fan of young love, Flux?”
You groan and roll your eyes, turning around to find a very smug Scott watching you bully teenagers. “Shut it, Summers,” you warn. You point an accusing finger at him and he raises his hands in surrender. Faux innocence played across his insufferable smirk. “When you’re in a committed relationship, you don’t get to judge me.”
His brows turn down in confusion, “Wait, but aren’t you and Logan-”
He’s cut off by the sound of a loud crash down the hall. You both turn around just as one of the classroom doors slams open. A bright pink explosion hurtles from the doors and a throng of coughing students follows.
Jubilee walks out a minute later, a guilty expression on her face. “Sorry, I was just trying to make it more Vanetine-y.”
You glance over at Scott, grinning widely at him while you pat his shoulder and walk past him, leaving him to clean up the mess. “Enjoy the young love, Summers.”
You actively avoid Logan all day. You’re already facing constant reminders of how lonely you are. You see kids walking around with baskets of bears and chocolates. Or you catch them passing notes in class with scribbled hearts all over the front.
There’s only so much a girl can take before she loses it. The last thing you need is to be faced with the man you have the worst unrequited crush on in history. But he doesn’t seem to get the hint. He’s everywhere you go, popping up around corners and trying to catch your attention.
You keep brushing him off and pretending like you have something urgent you’re going to be late for. Eventually, though, he was going to catch up with you.
It happens in the kitchen. Most of the kids are in their rooms or the library. The noise has died down and you’re alone. You grumble to yourself, ripping down a pink streamer that keeps drifting across the top of your head and pissing you off. You grab a frozen meal from the fridge and are about to microwave it when he speaks.
“Huh, thought you’d want something a little more romantic than a frozen burrito.”
You gasp, clutching your chest and whirling around on him while your heart races. “Logan, Jesus, you scared me.” He’s frowning at you, eyes glaring at the frozen package in your hand. “Um,” you toss it back in the freezer but the look on his face isn’t going away. “Yeah, I might just go with cereal instead.”
He looks at you and then glances behind him. You peer around his shoulder but you don’t see anything. Without much warning, he grabs your wrist and pulls you towards the stairs. “Logan?” There’s no point in trying to resist him, he could just toss you up the stairs if he wanted to. Still, the silence is kind of creeping you out.
You call his name a few more times but give up when he makes it clear he’s not going to be answering you anytime. There’s a rotten feeling in your stomach. You have this awful idea like you’re in trouble for something. Like a little girl who's gotten her hand caught in the cookie jar too many times.
He stops you in front of his door and nods towards it. “You want me to go inside?” He crosses his arms and glares down at you. You huff and mutter, “Jesus, fine.” What the hell is wrong with him?
You grab the doorknob to his room, glaring at him while you do. You throw the door open dramatically, taking a step inside and surveying the area. “Wow,” you suck your teeth and shake your head. “You have not decorated at all.”
“Shut up, smartass,” he mutters in your ear. Chills prick at your skin from his proximity. A shudder goes down your spine as the low tone of his voice reverberates through you. “Look a little harder.”
You roll your eyes but acquiesce. Another run over the room finally shows you what you missed. You gasp and rush towards his bed, “Holy shit, Bart!” He chuckles behind you as you pick the stuffed pigeon up.
“Went back for him after we left,” Logan tells you.
You glare at him, eyes narrowed in suspicion. “How many tries did this take you?” He mouths a smug one and you roll your eyes in irritation. You look back down at the pigeon and smile.
He smells like the inside of a claw machine. His head is sewed on crookedly and you’re pretty sure he’s missing an eye. But he’s absolutely perfect to you. You’re about to thank Logan when you spot something metal wrapped around the stuffie’s neck. “What’s this,” you mumble to yourself.
You slide your fingers under the chain and tug it off Bart’s neck. Logan’s dog tags dangle off your fingers and you stare at him in shock. A sudden cold dread washes over you and you find yourself immobile. “Logan,” you trail off, an unspoken question following his name.
He smirks, walking towards you and slipping the tags out of your hand. “I wanted you to have this,” he says, his voice low like this moment is too precious to break, “so you know you’re not alone. You’re always so afraid of what’s going to happen if you lose control out in the field. But you forget, you’re not alone. You have me, you’re always going to have me.” He places the tags over your neck, untucking your hair from the chain.
You don’t even have words for him. It’s such a deeply personal gift. But this also feels incredibly intimate. There’s no possible way for you to reason this away. This isn’t something “just friends” do.
He seems to prefer your silence, anyway. One of his hands drifts from your neck and cups your jaw. With the utmost tenderness, he lifts your face to his. “Wanted to do this for a while,” he whispers. You almost ask what he’s talking about, but his lips are already covering yours.
It’s incredibly soft, this kiss, softer than you’re used to. He’s barely putting any pressure on you and it makes you realize that you’re still not moving. You’re just standing there in shock, eyes wide open while the man you’ve wanted since you’ve known him kisses you.
You drop Bart to the floor and your arms come up to twine around his neck. You finally close your eyes, let your body melt into his knowing he’ll catch you. The second you reciprocate he really kisses you. Neither of you hold back, each of you pouring all the pent-up desire you’ve felt for each other.
You’ve spent so long dancing around this, around each other. It’s like a missing puzzle piece is returned to you as Logan holds you. You feel full, complete, warmer than you ever have before.
You part from him - needing air - painfully slow. You don’t want to spend a second away from him now that you have him. You wish you didn’t have to breathe. Wished you could have kept kissing him and never stopped.
Logan chuckles, pressing a kiss against your forehead like he can read your thoughts. You can feel the dorky smile that’s about to split your cheeks. You bite your lip, hoping it might suppress it, but you know it’s pointless.
You look up at him with a cheeky twinkle in your eye. “Are you asking me to be your Valentine, Lo?”
He scoffs and pulls away from you slightly. “Do you have to ask your girlfriend to be your Valentine?”
Your eyes widen and your mouth opens and closes rapidly. “I- Well- I mean,” you take a full step back from him and shake your head. “What?” You finally settle on. “I mean, I’m not objecting, at all, but what?”
Logan tilts his head, a disbelieving look on his face. “What do you think we’ve been doing the past three weeks?”
You shake your head, stuttering and struggling for an answer. “I don’t know. I thought you were being a good friend!”
He smiles, there’s no irritation on his face at your cluelessness. If anything he seems to be more endeared to you. “You think I take all my friends on romantic picnics in the woods?”
You sigh, letting out a long disappointed breath. You can’t believe you’ve been so blind. When you think about it, his behavior lately makes a lot more sense. You’re not sure how you were able to trick yourself for so long.
“Well,” you start, walking back towards him as he pulls you into a hug, “certainly not Scott.” He huffs and shakes his head. You give him a sheepish smile, brows knitted together. “I can’t believe we’ve been dating this whole time.”
He just presses another kiss to your temple and shrugs. “It’s alright, sweetheart, you can make it up to me by being my Valentine again next year.”
There’s something unspoken in his voice. A promise that he’s planning to be around for a lot longer than a year. You smile at him, silently promising the same. “Only if you’re mine.”
“Wouldn’t have it any other way.”
a/n: i’m gonna gag actually. Made myself cringe there at the end. I want a valentine next year so bad, it’s sad. But what’s the point of a valentine if it’s not going to be Logan?

PAIRING: Logan Howlett/Wolverine x f! reader || WC: 900 CW: MDNI/18+. NSFW. Missionary Position/Mating Press. Overstimulation. Mentions of sub-space. Logan is an endearing tease.
Alright...Y'all know I just had to. If it wasn't already evident based on my previous posts, Wolverine is rotting my brain and Hugh Jackman snuck up on me in my sleep and slipped into my head again. I had to get this out of my system before I went insane lmao, and don't worry, I have longer pieces in mind for claw daddy. When writing this, I also imagined the X-Men version of Logan cause I loved the og movies, so this isn't the variant Logan from the Deadpool movie but imagine whichever version tickles your fancy! Thanks to @ozarkthedog for helping me pinpoint his characterization btw. <3
At times, Logan knew he could be a lot to handle. Not that he would really give a fuck most days, but he became more conscious of his presence when he met you. Softer, much more pliant in comparison to him, covered in hard muscle and rugged tendons. You didn’t mind his intensity, much less his overbearing weight and heavy hand. In fact, you welcomed all of him and encouraged him to let loose and forget about his fears regarding how he handled you.
“I’m not made of glass, Logan. I can take it, trust me.”
You told him once, his eyes silently apprehensive as he glanced at you. He was always careful, always self-aware, and treated you with respect. You knew it would take much more convincing to get exactly what you wanted with your lover, who was too adamant about keeping Logan and Wolverine separated in your relationship. But just this once, you asked for his trust to try something else, something a little different.
Ultimately, you got what you wanted, but your curious ambition may have underestimated the situation.
Legs pinned above his broad shoulders, Logan’s hips hammered into you as he fucked you into the mattress. You’ve lost track of time since he pulled the first orgasm between your legs, the tip of his nose and upper lip covered in your slick, glistening under the dim lighting of your bedroom. He surprised you as he kept going, pulling another release out of you with the use of his thick fingers, and a third the moment he slipped his body into yours over and over again.
The back of your head lay limp against the crumbled pillow underneath, thighs shaking on impact and your body jolting upwards with every thrust Logan gave you. You didn’t have the energy to moan or cry out for him anymore, your chest heaving as you tried to catch your breath, and your hands loosely held his flexing biceps.
You were lost, so far gone into pleasure, your brain wasn’t working anymore. The only thing on your mind was how the tip of Logan’s cock continued to hit that spot inside you with rehearsed precision, sending you further into that fuzzy headspace you seemed to enjoy. Your eyesight grew hazy, glossed over with tears on your lashline that began to fall down your warm cheeks. You didn’t realize you were crying until you felt a comforting palm on your face, fingertips tapping along your cheekbone in an attempt to ground you back to reality.
“You still with me, sugar?” He asked, gravelly voice filtering through your ears. You whined in response, pupils losing focus as your eyes fluttered closed.
“Not a single thought in your head now, huh?” The creases on Logan’s temple became more prominent as he smirked, deep strokes intensifying the heat you felt deep in your gut.
“C’mon sweetheart, need to hear you say something. Talk to me.” His nose bumped into yours, huffs evident on your bottom lip as you struggled to find your voice.
“Logan...” Your voice was breathless and raw, trailing off into a meek whimper at the feel of his other hand squeezing your waist. Your eyes trailed up to his own, hazel irises and a toothy smile came into view, causing you to clench around him.
“There she is. This too much for you?” He knew it was, knew that this was what you asked of him, to push your limits and bring you to the point of no return.
Your mind fizzled out, the grip on his arm waning as he continued to thrust hard into you. You gave him a feeble nod, finding enough stamina to provide an answer. It was too much; three orgasms in, and your entire body felt on edge and overstimulated, sensitive to anything that was done or said within the confines of your bedroom. And yet, you didn’t want to stop, didn’t want to eat your own words and make him proud.
“I know, honey, I know. Just giving you what you wanted.” Logan teased, his tone dripping with sarcasm that matched his cocky expression.
You could feel yourself getting closer, your thighs and knees shaking on either side of his head. He continued to move against you, the hand that was on your waist drifted between your legs, seeking out your throbbing clit. His thumb pressed into the engorged nub, rubbing it in diligent circles that sent your hips jolting away from him. Logan held on to one of your thighs, pressing it towards the mattress and bending forward to pin you in place. Your heart raced, your chest ached, and you tightened at the violent wave of your next climax threatening to wash over you.
“Keep your eyes on me, right up here. I gotcha.” Logan said, maintaining the powerful drives of his hips until you came around him with a scream of his name, doing your best to hold his gaze. You sobbed at the feeling, a neverending spiral of bliss filling your body and making your head go blank.
“That’s right, atta girl. Keep looking at me.” He rasped, groaning loudly under his breath and leaning down to give you a bruising kiss, spilling into you and filling you to the brim not that long afterwards.
Sure, Logan can be a lot to tolerate sometimes, but you didn’t mind being the one to handle him.

thinking about stripper reader with old man logan.
he came in every week or so — disheveled outfit and hair. he was older, sure — but not in the way most men his age looked. no — the years didn’t wear on him, but whatever he did that day did. his wrinkles weren’t deep, but the bags under his eyes were. his smile lines weren’t permanent, but the distant look in his eyes was. his bones didn’t crack because they were old, but because they were under too much stress. you couldn’t help it — you wanted to take that pain away.
no one wanted to approach him because he seemed to keep to himself — worried he was a creep or something. he was quiet, too — only speaking when he ordered a drink or another after that. he replied in nods or shakes of the head, and his eyes were always on the stage. despite the fact that he tipped well — no one bit.
you were feeling brave that day when you approached him. you kept it simple — black lace teddy, black lace thong, and black heels. hair bouncy with light makeup, hoping to keep the star of the show your eyes and smile. you knew he could see you out of the corner of his eye, and it threatened your confidence — but he had peaked your interest for too long for you to toss and stumble now.
“hey, handsome,” you spoke, keeping your tone light. “need another?”
he didn’t cock his head towards you, keeping his gaze in front. he swirled the small sip of whisky left in his glass, appearing to contemplate your question. after a moment, he responded, “dancers don’t take drink orders, darlin’.”
“no,” you spoke, laughing slightly. you bent at the hips, hoping to be lower than his eye line. “but they don’t when they give private dances — interested?”
“no, thanks.”
his voice was final — and even though you were disappointed, you didn’t want to push it. you stood then, taking a step back. “okay — i’ll send a waitress over.”
after working the room — it was your turn to take one of the side stages. you had your pick of which — but you decided to keep it as far away from the man as possible. if he didn’t want to be bothered, who were you to threaten a good tip? curiosity would not be killing the cat tonight — especially not when there was more money to be made.
a few men had gathered during your set, throwing a few dollar bills here and there as you swung your hips to the music. you had switched into a falls cowboys cheerleader outfit — white shorts, blue top, and white bra. cliche and overdone, but by the look of your tips — you couldn’t care less.
you also couldn’t care less when you noticed a set of eyes on you — the man’s.
he was unashamed in the way he stared at you. he had gotten another round at some point — but wasn’t drinking any of the contents. he simply gripped it tight as he stared at your swaying hips and perfect curves. you bit your lip at the thought of him regretting turning you away, the confidence intoxicating you. before the song ended, you made sure to lock eyes with him — letting you know that this was your stage and your body he was silently and secretly drooling over. when you sent a cheeky wink his way, he shook his head — downing his glass in an instant. you smiled when he stood from his seat, immediately darting for the “vip” lounge in the back that proudly boasted a sign that read “private dances.”
when you made your way into the back room, you were told that a certain someone had specially asked for you. once you made your way back there, you found what you were looking for.
“make me feel young again, darlin’.”
you couldn’t help but smile. he didn’t say it in an insecure way, but in a way that suggested that his day had been too long and too tiring.
“tell me how you like it?”
he didn’t say anything — he just watched you. his eyes never left yours as you flung off your top, exposing your breasts. he drank his entire glass of whisky before you had planted yourself on his thighs. the flesh of your ass was like to pillows, fit for his large hands. he didn’t touch you — but by how hard he gulped, you could tell he wanted to.
“touch me, sugar,” you whispered. “i won’t tell.”
there was hesitation in his eyes, but soon his gaze darkened. restraint had fallen through the cracks, gone and forgotten. was a shame he had already paid for the dance — you would’ve fucked him for free.
now it was time to make it worth his while.
the man beneath you ground your round hips down into his pelvis, groaning at the friction. he hadn’t seen peace or pleasure since never, but it held his facial feature hostage as his nostrils picked up on the scent of your arousal. warm, tangy juices that leaked through the lace in your panties onto the denim of his jeans.
“take off your pants,” you breathed. “i’ll remind you how young you are — if you promise you’ll show me the skill that only comes with age.”
he had you bent over the table, hands behind your back held by his belt. he planted two heavy feet next to each of your ankles, keeping your legs spread and ready for him. his thrusts were hard against the back of your hips as you only had the table’s edge to support you. you felt him repeatedly hit your cervix, wincing at the aggression.
“that’s not the spot, huh, darlin’?” he spat.
you stayed silent — wanting to see how he reacted.
“i can feel it — resistance,” he grunted. “that sweet pussy needs more, doesn’t she?”
his hard, calloused hands rotated your hips so the tip of his cock repeatedly began to smack into the softest and gummiest part of your inner walls. a moan ripped through you like no other — your back arching upwards as your hips desperately tried to meet his thrusts.
“there it is — that’s it, darlin’. come on, fight back.” you could feel the rough skin of his finger tips dig up and into your pelvis, welcoming the pressure. one of his hands moved underneath you — hauling your hips upwards — pressing against your lower abdomen. he could feel the outline of his cock fucking into your womb, stuffing you full. “i can feel how deep you’re takin’ it, darlin’ — pussy so greedy, ain’t she? — always wantin’ more? those young boys just ain’ it? i’ll take care of her, darlin’…”
you were a whining mess beneath him — practically incoherent. he could hear, smell, feel, taste everything you were feeling. he had every part of you in his hands — completely vulnerable to his mercy and touch. and when your hips started to shake — fighting with him and against him — all he could do was force them down as you took his cock. you whined and whine and whinedwhinedwhined for more until the glam makeup began to melt off your face.
the man watched as your body shook for him — him and only him. you found his wrist, holding onto it for dear life as you tired to anchor yourself. the pleasure was too much, causing your head to spin. you could feel the man rub the skin of your ass tenderly, coaxing you into your orgasm. your womb bloomed for him, wanting to suck him dry and never let him go. his groans were animalistic, filling the room as you begged him to fill your pussy. he smacked your ass once, twice, thrice before he pulled out and painted your back with his cum.
once he pulled out, you were still on your stomach on the table as you tried to catch your breath. he bent down to meet your eyes — a youthful glow on his face — before he pressed a kiss to your lips.
“you just ruined men my own age for me.”
“get your things, doll — takin’ you away from here.”
