Okay so. I do feel like she'd be a tad bit frustrated with you, at least at first. Like you could do so much more than what you're showing and yet here you are, not using your strength for important stuff? While you've always known Arlecchino to constantly have a stony expression that doesn't usually change, you see the bright crosses of her eyes dim just a fraction, "So I suppose that's a no, then?"

"Well, now," you stepped back with an amused look on your face, getting into the fighting stance you're familiar with, "I didn't say that... Especially not when the reward is something I really want."

And she gains that glow once again as she brandishes her weapon with a fraction of a smile and.. something else much more heated behind those eyes of hers, "Do not get ahead of yourself, my beloved. The results have yet to be concluded."

..She speaks as if she hadn't actually wanted to lose. Laughable, really.

(You know from the way that at the end of it all, she lies underneath you as her eyes scan you with that same heated look in her eyes—lust, a sin in which The Knave hadn't thought of ever committing.. until you came along.)

The whole thing about her being able to reverse your positions? THROW THAT TO THE FUCKING WIND IN THIS SITUATION you can easily EASILY fold her without a care in the world. The fact that she KNOWS you can too gives her a rush she hasn't ever felt without that extra layer of threatened rage

Push her up against the wall, hold her up in the air, pin her down so she can't squirm away..........if you're much more powerful than her, she actually makes a show of 'trying' to escape you. Keyword: 'trying', especially when at the end of the day she resigned herself to losing already

She tells you not to hold anything back, no matter how cautious you are. She says she can handle it, that she isn't strong without reason, that she can endure whatever you give her, no matter what. Usually she kinda ends up forgetting anything she's said though, especially when you're fucking her SOOO hard she starts seeing stars behind her eyes

If your strength applies to endurance too??? Ohhh bye she's not lasting. Like okay she definitely has stamina and endurance but against you? SHE'S QUITE LITERALLY DWARFED....BYE.........

In some way, she actually likes the fact that you don't show your power other than in private with just the two of you—it makes her feel special, to know exactly what you're capable of. Dare I even say she's a tad bit possessive over every side of you? Who can say 😜

Just think that whenever she kinda stands beside you in public w her heels on, she's very very VERY easily reminded of the fact that you tower over her in height, capability AND position.......and really, in comparison to what everyone else may think? Arlecchino wouldn't have it any other way 🫶

....oh side note, just think about how rough you can go, biting each other to the point where you draw blood. Sorry I had to get that final bit out ANYWAY

gets intimated when he's up against a muscular 6ft guy, but has a eureka moment and uses his cursed speech. easy win

theres also other things he'd protect you from too, like pulling you away from hot oil and flames if you're cooking together. he's got spidey senses (according to him)

the cold is also something he'd protect you from. always makes sure you have a warm coat, scarf, gloves, and everything. i think inumaki really likes earmuffs too, because then he can whisper about how much he loves you and you wouldn't hear a thing

the two of you could lay around for hours, and he'd just listen to you talk as you both cuddle. when you're both into a particular show or series, snuggling in bed when you're both supposed to be sleeping hits different

if you're on public transport or aimlessly walking around, he'll hold your hand, but it's more like he's holding it from behind rather than actual handholding.

silence with him is always comfortable, and you completely tune out from the rest of the world whenever you're with him

he gifts you snacks a lot. even better if he specifically gets ones with pink packaging

you agreed to one night you would put on a fake happy face and pretend to love the Pablo gavi. as much as you despised the young boy, he had came to your flat begging you to help him out and he reminded you that you owed him.

“remember you owe me! I helped you when you were drunk, it’s your turn for pay back!” those words stung your chest and were constantly replaying in your head the whole night you posed next to him. you didn’t even want to read the headlines of tomorrows news, you were helping out a “friend” but you couldn’t help but imagine what your family would have to say to the images.

“just keep smiling, you’re doing amazing.” Pablo said through his teeth. a smile planted on his face, his unbelievably sweaty hand in yours. you could see the end of the carpet, you were dying to reach the finish line. you couldn’t wait to step inside and drink the night away.

men with cameras and women with microphones shouted his name trying to grab his attention for a picture or for an interview. he only promised to do one, and then you could be swept inside to enjoy the evening in your separate ways. you were thankful pedri was there already inside, you couldn’t wait to talk to someone who knew you two weren’t dating.

“who is the lovely lady you brought with you tonight? she looks absolutely stunning!” the interviewer pointed to you off to the side, and the camera panned to you watching the other couples flaunt the red carpet. your eyes were full of shock when you saw Lionel Messi step out with his wife, you spent ages of your school years obsessing over him.

“my girlfriend,” the words felt uncomfortable coming out of his mouth, he turned gesturing for you to join him for a quick second, and your hand instantly cupped his pulling on your fake smile for the camera, “this is y/n.”

you could see it now, he just introduced you as his girlfriend and you could already see the football fan accounts losing their minds over you. you could feel the vibration of your phone against the fabric of your purse, your worst nightmare was happening and you weren’t sure how you could escape it now. because now you were stuck having to pose with Pablo gavi for a couple more months, until you could “break” things off.

“thank you so much for your time! enjoy inside.” the interviewer smiled waving a goodbye to you both, as you were swept away by a carpet attendee. officially making your way inside, you let go of his sweaty palm wiping your hand on the back of his suit coat.

“I cannot believe you had to do that. why didn’t you just ignore her question?” you took the first glass of champagne you saw from one of the servers and immediately downed the sparkling liquid.

“ignore her? she asked it as clear as day, y/n.” he rolled his eyes, he scanned the room looking for the familiar face of his friend, he needed to get away from you so you both could enjoy the night as promised.

“now my name is going to be all over the press. you have no idea what you’ve now done to my life.” your eyes finally found pedri first, and you were off to go talk to him. you needed someone with a sane mind to chat with.

pablo didn’t mean for his mistake to hurt you. the words slipped out of his mouth when he looked over at you, the red dress was complementing your curves and breasts he was so mesmerized by you. he didn’t know the words slipped from his mouth until the interviewer was repeating the words back to him.

“ah future mrs.gavi, everyone is already talking about you two.” pedri’s eyes lit up seeing you storm to him, his friend trailing behind you, pushing through groups of people just to stop you from ratting him out.

“how long do you think I’m going to have to keep this up?” you scoffed, you felt a hand gently brush your lower back sending butterflies through your stomach as your whole body jumped. you moved out of the way to see it was Pablo behind you.

“maybe a couple of months? it keeps his name from bad press,” pedri pointed his index finger at his friend before turning to you, “and it makes you look like you’re helping a troubled teenager. it’s a win win.”

“troubled teenager? please I’m only six months younger than her.” he scoffed noticing pedri’s head tilt towards a man with camera taking pictures for an event, and immediately Pablo’s hand touched your lower back it was only to keep with the bit. or for him, was it? he loved watching you bothered by the fact that you had to “date” him.

but as they always say, fake it until you make it. right?

A little hesitant on this one.

So, realistically,these two would probably hate each other. Sera was the one who approved the exterminations,resulting in the death of billions of sinners, which puts Carmila and her daughters in danger. So that's not really a great way to start a relationship...

However, I think in any other circumstances,I think these two would be a nice couple.

They both just want to protect the people they love and are willing to go to extreme measures to do just that. It could be Sera realizing not all sinners are absolute monsters,and some were just people who made mistakes in life. Kinda of like Vaggie realizing the hellborn weren't terrible upon meeting Charlie.

Also, they're both very elegant ladies who need another refined woman to treat them right 😌🏳️‍🌈

when a past enemy comes back for tim, the batfam learn a lot about tim and his young justice adventures in the fallout. this one's long and plotty and has that super compelling trope of the POV character watching an interaction where the reader is in on the jokes but the POV character isn't--basically a great sort-of-outsider POV on the core four, plus, from what i could tell, almost every other yj character at some point.

a short, hilarious fic with timber and implied future timberkon, in which tim (sort of) reveals his identity and that leads to kon and bart and cassie meeting bernard.

Lipstick on the glass by kerosceene

i'm a broken record with this one, but it's just. 🤌🤌 it starts out focused on timkon but part 2 has college-age core four halloween shenanigans. cassie has a civilian gf. bart dresses up as a meme that doesn't exist yet. kon is in the dragriculture club. tim loves his friends (and boyfriend) so much. it's just so heartwarming and good.

silly oneshot with tim going full obsessive detective mode about everything but his own feelings, good yj squad dynamics, bart being a passable liar, and some timkon.

i've also rec'd this one before (twice, even) but once again it fits the bill, because the core four scenes in this are so good. it's a reverse robins au where tim becomes roommates with kon and bart and cassie, who are superboy, impulse, and wonder girl but have no idea (yet) that tim has his own secret identity, too. so there's identity shenanigans with all four of them, classic reverse robins tim angst, some enemies-to-lovers and oh-my-god-they-were-roommates timkon, and a really fun final action sequence. it's part 2 of a series and i highly recommend reading part 1 first, but if you want to dive right into the core four aspects you can probably piece together the context as you go.

-a part where theyre still very platonic but paige is at azzis house and stephie asks miss buecks to put her to sleep

-WHO TF DID PAIGE MARRY AND WHAT HAPPENED

-maybe a part where something happens (not too bad because stephie is my baby) and paige steps in and protects stephie at all cost making azzi realize how much stephie means to her

-azzi and paige having many more sweet moments as they realize they shouldn’t but all they want it to be together

This question is 10+ years late, but I’m reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally curious to know. How did you first get into SpaPort / PortSpa and why do you like it more than the others?

oh this is gonna be a mini story time 🛐

how: since i got into hetalia toni is already a blorbo™. you know those things like uhh if a ship has both of my blorbo in it i will love it more? yeah...

in 2011-2014 there was a popular heta fan comic in deviantart called Maaf, it's mainly focused on maritime southeast asia ocs and bits of their history with other canon charas. it's kinda non linear (chronological??).

around that time port's 2nd design is revealed (the ponytail with scar), later the author of Maaf drew him in the story... note that the author doesn't write some parts of the story, chunks of it is provided/suggested by readers from said countries, port included.

ofc teen me (occasional yaoi enjoyer) & some readers went: oh ☺️ so that is spain's brother ☺️ they bicker a lot ☺️ wanna see more❣️ then i saw more arts of them by few dA artists... saw their tumblr accounts, followed, and from there i discovered many more in The spaport tumblr✨✨. i was just a minor lurker gnfjnfs, gradually left heta in 2014, made no drawing/content.

dragged back to heta bc of new season & SEA charas › jan 2022 i watched a certain anime and 2 main charas reminds me of #them › wow suddenly i miss #them a Lot..... › marathoned all their remaining tumblr arts and fics i've never seen before and dusted off my tumblr

why:

the 3 principles of good heta ship (credit to oomf): neighbours that share borders, one have invaded the other, family bond/related. this formula is always correct!

then there's canon materials and "why are you only meek with him"... toni only showed his weak side to port??? this exclusivity?!? oh it's over for other ships /lh.

TO ME a lot of ship dynamics/trope fit them heheh. sun and moon, dumb and dumber, sensitive and oblivious, writer and artist, i can fix him, etc. i think being a foreigner means i understood their irl relations less and i wont go "actually..." [insert better english sth sth ignorance is bliss].

they also reminds me of a favourite ship that involves my country so 🤒 even their language differences(?). then other fav ships reveals even more of spaport history bits from different pov. not elaborating the 3 ships here bc it will be Long and off topic lol but these kept adding as i learned more!! so yeah there's the many indirect connections.

8. Which came first the title or the idea?

Definitely the idea first. The time i got into the fandom, there were a very small number of fanfics, and most of them were focused after the game events. I read almost all of fanfic and ended up not being satisfied with how much little hate sex they were having. So i went,

And wrote my own enemies to lover melodrama.

9. Which idea first came to you in TMOAW&TEOAL?

The sparring scene in the first chapter. Because i love homoerotic tension in hand to hand combat to the moon. The thing is, it was my first attempt at writing any fight scene, and now looking back, i went into it without an ounch of fear because i wanted real pissed off Kenshi in between Johnny's legs so much 🤣 i had to actually play out the fight sequence with my partner to make it believable that my poor s/o had to twist my arm and get their arm twisted for entire hour!

10. What are some facts readers might not know about TMOAW&TEOAL?

Ooh let me see... these are things i mentioned in passing comments but i will pile them here ig:

The title came from the lyrics of Rain by Sleep Token. It doesn't necessarily have the same meaning the lyrics intended, but i really like the imagery, so i adapted it into a metaphor for hate and love. The mouth represents the sniping words, the "i hate you"s, the "fuck you"s. The eyes represent the longing gazes, untold yearnings, the gentleness. In the first half, the two imageries switch between Johnny and Kenshi a lot. Then once we reach the confession scene in chap 9, they solidify where Johnny, the mouth without words speaks his true feeling and Kenshi, the eyes without sight see the honesty from the other man.

The hardest scene to write was Kenshi's blinding. Still not sure if i did the justice.

Some ideas, such as One Bed trope and some explicit scenes came from you guys' comments! I love when you guys pitch ideas to me and i try my best to include them in the fic ☺️

My favorite parts to write about Johnshi is their bickering. The first thing i write whenever i start new chapter is the dailogues.

I love putting subtle ticks in characters like Johnny's pacing, deep sighs, Kenshi's strong eyebrow game, silent judgments then make the characters pick up the other's unconsciously as they spend more times together.

After the fic ends, We will have oneshot about our fav four earthrealm defenders on a night out at a strip club just like Johnny promised Raiden and Kung Lao in chapter 5. (Many more ideas to come too 👀)

I noticed that i apparently need 2-3 days to cool down after publishing a chapter. I try to immediately start working on the next chap but my head somehow refuses to put out words 🙄 if i could i wanna update twice a week but alas.

Once the fic ends, I'm gonna revise everything. No changes to the plot but i feel like my writing got better with more practice so i wanna polish earlier chapters with better words.

🍈 Who’s your blorbo and what are some of your favorite headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? Free pass to rant about blorbo opinions. 

To preface this, I love all the boys. They're all very cute/adorable/hot/attractive (take your pick), and they all are amazing musicians and very, very talented! But I think I do let my bias show a lot, so it would come to no surprise when I say my fav is Bojan. (I’m basic ik, but have you looked at his big ass puppy eyes?) 

If you read my fics, you might already guess what this is going to entail. I generally love that he's absolutely tiny next to the others (I’m sure he hates that fact, but it’s cute and him being pocket sized makes it so much funnier, sorry, puppy boi, you're three blueberries stacked on top of each other, I don't make the rules and neither do you). But that’s not a headcanon right?

So yeah, some headcanons I love are writing about him whining and whimpering and begging. He's a vocal boi, so it just makes sense to me.

We also all know about his little naps, and one of my headcanons is him just dropping immediately once he goes tired, idk, it's just very cute, I think. 

One of my absolute fav headcanons is him loving to get manhandled, but once again, we've seen him enjoy being pushed around, so is that really a headcanon or is it just… him?

There are probably a lot more and I think I unintentionally keep bringing up the same things in my fics, if you have any questions about that, feels free to ask some more 😊☺️

🥝 What’s your favorite trope/AO3 tag to write?

Ohhhh, that's interesting, ngl. I like writing a lot of different things and I like reading a thousand things more… but I think my favorite trope to write atm might be friends to lovers, sharing one bed, tour bus is also quiet nice (and very JO focused 😂).

I also tend to like a lot of smutty tropes, like biting and hair pulling, but idk if we then go over into the kink side of the tags and less trope-y 😅

🍍 What kind of AUs do you like? Are there any AUs you hate or just generally have beef with? 

Usually I really like most AUs! It all depends on how it's portrayed and if I like the author or not. But generally I really enjoy supernatural AUs, like Vampires, witches and demons and stuff, but I also am really font of a good dæmon fic (I love the concept of having a little animal companion that is literally your soul, reminds me of familiars of witches and I love that). 

I do also enjoy a nice sports AU if it's not too focused on the sport and makes me read about matches and rules and an accurate paragraph long description of technical gameplay, if I want to read a rulebook I can watch a yt tutorial or google. I also like a good f1 AU.

The classical ones like College AU and Coffee shop, tattoo parlor/flower shop are also so nice to read and always make me happy! 

So there is generally no AU I could say I have beef with from the top of my mind… ohhhhh, okay, no, there is one! 

I don't really enjoy Space AUs… like… the funky Guardians of the Galaxy types or Star Wars or Star Trek are nice and fine. It's space horror that freaks me out, when ppl get lost in space and have to either survive or die alone in the middle of nothing. That might also have to be connected to my dislike of cosmic horror that happens in space (like the Alien movies, which I don't dislike, but just can't appreciate the way other ppl can). If it's like… Alien invasion and it happens on earth its different tho, then it's funky and fun again.

Space is incredibly beautiful and I'm so fascinated by planets, the milky way and solar systems and all the Star signs and constellations, but at the same time I just think I don't like the vastness of it as well as the sheer nothingness and the ominous nature of it all. Maybe it's also just existential dread I feel when I think of it, but I just am not having a good time when I'm being anxious, so yeah 😅

Hurt/comfort: especially if it's got an eldest sibling dynamic. Hurt them before comforting them heals my inner child.

Angst: doesn't matter if it's "angst with a happy ending" or not. Give me a reason to cry (and if I'm writing it, it's a good way to let out my own angst)

Found family: because everyone deserves a group of people who may not have been together at the beginning of their lives, but they're sure as shit going to try to stick together for the rest of it ❤️

Time travel: it doesn't have to necessarily for the sake of fixing the plot/past mistakes. I just enjoy reading characters going back in time and watching their life like a movie and seeing all their wrong doings and using it as a life lesson

Also, thanks for making and revealing Thea and Finn as green flag ro’s (childhood friends are my fav. Always explore all the available tropes, but irrespective of what game I’m playing, I need make my 1st run as psychologically healthy as possible haha).

Played the demo multiple times and with the way things ended I visualize my 1st PC as someone who’s…well…not exactly cold and unemotional, but someone who tends to bury everything deep down, doesn’t recognize their feelings and usually responds to ppl/situations (especially stressful ones) in detached and apathetic sort of way. Will that be an option? (But if not PFFFFT whatever u r planning to do I’m excited, here for it and ain’t going anywhere).

Childhood friend/best friends-to-lovers is my all time favorite romance troupe. I know it’s soooo vanilla but I just love soft and gentle love filled with unspoken feelings and pining…it makes my cold lil heart sing 💗

I find internal/stoic replies the hardest to write, especially when I’m trying to give information and interactions between characters organically, (it was so hard in the demo, I wanted to cry) but I’m trying really really hard to account for every personality. But yes, I plan to let your MC be as stoic and emotionally repressed as your big brother. 🥺

I think of the game in its current state as my zero draft, so I’ll always welcome players to give input on replies/reactions/decisions wherever they can for a more immerse experience for their MCs. I might not implement all the changes, but the feedback is always greatly appreciated and meaningful!

Hello! I usually go for Time Travel, Different first meetings, Crossovers, Modern AU's, Mpreg, single parent, and Fix-It/Canon Divergence type fics. Oh! And characters react/read or watch the series style fics. I love those~ My main pairing is WangXian but I do sometimes read wangxiansang, XiSang, XiCheng, ZhuiLing, XueXiao, or something else if the story catches my eye too. I'd say the kind of stories I'm into mostly veer towards Angst with a happy ending or Fluff and interesting plots or longer word counts. Though sometimes a heavy angst fic does catch my eye, I don't usually like angsty fics unless they have a happy/hopeful ending and I steer clear of pure angst/'mind the tags' style stories most of the time. As for tags, I would say I use Time Travel, Modern AU, Canon Divergence or whatever trope I'm interested in at the time the most ^^ 🧡

Mod L (@ladyunderthemolehill ) and Mod Kay (@the-last-d-boy ) probably have different preferences then me but I'm sure between the three of us, you could find something good to read ☺️

I share a bunch of interests (like time travel, first meetings, fix-its) with Mod C, it seems, though I'm really picky about any modern aus and crossovers! I tend to lean towards modern with magic/cultivation. And with crossovers so far MXTX crossovers have been more my go-to fics than others. One of my "guilty pleasures" is reading 'characters watching their series' fics haha

WX is definitely my favorite but I have read some good LXC/NHS and LXC/NMJ centric fics. Character povs I've enjoyed is WWX, LWJ, LXC, and NHS' povs!

I am not a fan of bitter or unhappy endings but angst is good as long as there is a happy ending. Humor is great and crack treated seriously is a favorite! And I just love those fics where WX are hilariously mushy 🥰

I have been a bit lazy about adding my 💖 on newer fics since I've been mostly editing on my laptop 😂

I adore modern with magic settings and canon-divergence stories a lot and I really love it when authors get creative and inventive with world-building. I'm a bit torn on fix-it stories, because they often feel a bit too hopeful for me when it comes to MDZS, so I'm more a somebody lives/not everybody dies kind of guy. WangXian is my main pair, but I also like SongXiao and I love to see Wen Qing paired up with Jiang Yanli or Mianmian.

I'm also a fan of angst and I do enjoy unhappy ending sometimes, though I too veer towards angst with a happy ending most of the time.

I feel like the three of us (+Mojo's Recs) definitely cover a wide variety of fics :D

my favourite fanfic trope of all time is either childhood friends to lovers, but i love the estranged childhood friends to lovers or like the really slowburn angsty ones. kinda specific but something about the longing and tension of being there with them since the beginning then growing apart and still knowing the little things years later..

another one of my favs is probs fake dating or like marriage of convenience. i’m a sucker for these only cause i like the one falls first the other falls harder vibe.

Hiya, friend! Will do! :D 8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it? I have a couple of ideas I mentioned for this question here and here. In general, if I can finish Where do we go from here? as a 13-part series, that would be soooo amazing. The fact that I went back into writing with this series was a brave move, because this project has been the biggest one I’ve worked on...ever. I’m super proud how it has been received so far, and writing each one shot has taught me so much. I’m a slow writer, I’m picky with details and I really need to do my research before I’m comfortable with writing what I want to write, so it has been quite a process. I’ve never written a bunch of one shots that support a bigger story arc before, so in a way, the prompts I have left for this series are all things I’ve never written before! There’s so much to explore when it comes to life after Hogwarts, careers, during the war and after the war! Same with different genres and tropes (but of course, flangst or angst are my favs). I have a couple of one shots I have outlined right now for the series, but it’s more about me picking which one to work on next (during the war before the Battle of Hogwarts or post-war, a year after the Battle). The former is Oliver’s PoV and the latter is Percy’s PoV. Maybe I should flip a coin or something if I want to get things moving again! XD 16. Do you have that one fanfic that you wrote a ton for, ages ago, but never posted? Will this be the year, come hell or high water, that it WILL get finished and posted? I do have some old fics I wrote before a took a long hiatus from writing. Lots of WIPs and so many notes! I’m not sure if those will ever get posted, since my writing style has changed, and honestly, I’m not completely in love some of these. Maybe because so much time has passed? I do have wayyy older fics that were posted on LJ back in the day, and I have been considering editing and re-releasing some of these on AO3 though. There are a few Drarry ones I still like, and I love what I had written for Deamus (fun fact: I used to RP once upon a time, and RPing as Seamus helped me figure out how to write for this ship). ANDDDD, I also have 4 WIP Perciver fics I wrote back in 2020 during lockdown when I was still trying to decide if I should start writing again. Obviously, I started posting fic up on AO3, so maybe one or all of these stories will be posted for 2023. I know two of them have a decent amount of words, and if I do have the time to brush the dust off and tighten things up more...well, I best not get ahead of myself yet. If the stars align, then that’s what we’ll go with. Thanks for the ask!

You stood from your seat, as did he. He held the pencil above and behind his head, so you lunged forward for it. With a bit of laugh, he dropped the pencil and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you in tight. Your hand you reached for the pencil with landed on his shoulder in defeat. 

“You’re a prick,” you complained, although you made no effort to pull away. 

“Mhm, yeah, and you hate me so much. Shut up and kiss me already.”

He silenced anything else you planned on saying with a needy kiss. Almost immediately you melted, using your other hand to run through his hair. When you tugged gently, he groaned against your lips, pulling you tighter against him. Without a second thought, he walked you backward into a desk (luckily not the one you’d been sitting at) and you sat on top. His hands traveled down from your waist to your legs, guiding you to wrap them around his waist. 

You pulled away from him, putting a finger over his lips to stop him from following yours. “We shouldn’t be doing this, Ed. We’re screwed if he comes back in.”

“You didn’t seem to be complaining.” 

You groaned in frustration and laid your head against his shoulder. “Eddie Munson, you are such a pain in my ass.” 

“I could be if ya let me.”

“Ed!”
