The Mifune meme made me realise "wait, people dont really talk about him that often, dont they?"
Think about it, isnt it strange? He appeals both to boys as the stoic badass samurai ("Omg he doesnt need a demon weapon, his soul is worth 99!") and to girls as a pretty boy to ship with the other pretty boys (as they do with Spirit and Stein, but maybe Im being too dismisive and thats cause those two have shared backstory)
But no matter how controversial it is to say that what I just implied, it's no question that Mifune had all the atributes to be made into a fanfavorite - "Oh he's so cool and serious but he also protects the innocent look how friendly he is with kids!" "Wow is he a bad guy or good guy??! What intrigue" "wow look how epic his battles with BS are!" and (manga spoilers) "Wow what a dignified death, how tragic and sad, yet how beautiful!"
The joke is, this might sound as if I was some fanboy crying about people not appreciating a charachter - but the thing is I dont really care about him myself lol.
Like on an "intelectuall" level I get that I should but somehow he was allways just ok, had cool scenes and is more likeable than not, but somehow he never really "connnected" or "resonated" with me (what zero demon weapons does to a mf?)
So with that said:

If Kiri is capable of controlling the life on pandora, what stopped her from obliterating the blue crew off the face of the planet upon their first encounter?
Anon, are you asking me to solve James Cameron's plot holes?
The answer though seems to be that Kiri has very little control over what she's doing, and half believes she isn't doing it/is just crazy. A lot of it, remember, is breathing in time with the grass. It's not that cool looking, just weird. It also seems to be more of a "she's one with nature" deal versus so much her telling it what to do all the time, which means I doubt she could control say the ocean and overturn the ships (at least not right now).
The other answer is then Jake wouldn't have anything to do in the movie, would he? And we can't have that.

Kinda strange to see people claim to be anti-capitalist and then turn around and tell commission artists that they hope they lose their jobs to AI art. Wishing that someone would lose their livelihood because their source of income was monopolized seems pretty capitalist to me.

Hello:-)

Heyooo, my (fake?) name is Stella and im 15 y.o. :) I was watching 'the fault in our stars' and idk, i just had this huge urge to start a new tumblr account (that i hope my friends wont find) and just idk share my life and thoughts. I know nobody will probably see this but who cares. This might be just a shout into the void but i hope i feel better by sharing my little infinity here *wink wink*;-)
Anyway i think i should start off somewhere so read to me yap about 'the fault in our stars':-) i actually REALLY love the movie and the book even tho everyone around me seem to hate them:-( I read the book like 4 times (i usually dont reread books!) and each time it gets better and better!!! I love queting it as you could see and i truly believe that 'our little infinity' is the best thing that happened in modern literature. I mean its not my most favorite book or has the best scene ever but each time it makes me feel like this is not the end, i have more little infinities to go. Anyway if you didnt read or/and watched 'the fault in our stars' i really, REALLY recommend it. Its stupid and cliché(è?) but to be honest so is life so go enjoy the good (sad) vibes and some good music:-)
If anyone actually read my silly little yap: thanks!! Have a great day, night and infinities right ahead you:-)

My Fire
When you left you took everything
The small bit of smile I had left
The heat of the fire that I had known for my entire life
I can still feel the burns
The smoke flooding my lungs as it made its home in them
All that’s left is an echo of the heat
A dull ache where the fire was red hot
A bit of rasp and ache when I speak now that the smoke has drifted away
The flames came long before you burning me from the day I was born
Fueling my life giving it meaning
You took something you had no right to take
And i refuse to let you keep it
So I take it back
My passion will burn for someone else
My pain will belong to me and me alone
My smoke will fill my lungs and make me happy
My blood will burn as it courses through my veins
And I will reclaim my fire

Every type of operating system for personal computers should come with a game.
I phrased it like that because i believe that calling smart phones, computers rings more true now than before.
Even old phones came with basic entertainment built in so it is very sad that most just don't now.
It is a insult that you have to download soliraire into pcs now a days. All desktop OS should have solitaire and all phones should have some pinball game.

I Want Your Feedback
Given that this blog is mostly about me giving my opinion on fashion, I would like to know what my followers/viewers think. Admittingly, these are outfits I would wear, but I do think they fit very different aesthetics.
The way the textures complement each other is satisfying to the eye. I see this outfit being worn in a city setting, perhaps to sightsee, eat out with friends, or shop.
A very romantic outfit with soft colors and silk. I see this being worn on a European getaway, through a garden, or to enjoy tea time outdoors.
An early 2000s-inspired cyber girl fit. Incorporating the micro denim skirt, Vivienne Westwood jewelry, and mini sunnies give a youthful and unique vibe.

So I was thinking about a post I saw a while ago and it made me realize that I believe it didn´t really occur to Anakin that Padme was too young as a 14 year old Queen because he was a 9 year old slave and already making adult decisions, like:
Sure, I will risk my life to give you the ship parts you need new friends.
I will sacrifice the pod I built with many sacrifices that I wanted to use to escape with my Mom once I got her and my slave chip out of her body with my self made slave chip detector.
I know exactly how to cheat on my owner, I have know him all my life actually and he loves gambling.
Sebulba, leave Jar Jar alone, you could kill me instead but then you would have to pay for me so go away.
I built a droid to help Mom around the house and I am also looking after grandma Jira here, fixing her things so the heat doesn´t get too much for her.
Do you need the droid army that is invading Naboo stopped? No problem, I will just destroy their main star chip and I didn´t even get out of place as Master Qui-Gon Sir asked me to.
Then Anakin became a padawan and was send to missions in which he had to use his lightsaber to get out of "negotiations"
So of course he defended Padme being a Queen at 14, to him her words about being happy for being relieved of so much responsibility sounded as if she thought she was doing a bad job with her planet, that´s why he told her he heard people were so pleased with her they wanted to keep her more time as their Queen. He thought she was selling herself short.
I believe the whole, "too young to be doing this" only beat Anakin in the face when he was send Ahsoka in the middle of a war zone.
I mean, he called her a "youngling" not even a padawan, he most definitely didn´t want to be training a 14 year old youngling in the middle of a war zone and he only accepted because he saw how sad Ahsoka looked when she thought he didn´t want her.
Ahsoka just had to invoke a little bit of tears and she already had him grapped around her little finger.
Anakin: Sure I am supposed to be your Jedi master and you should call me master but we are in the middle of a war zone, we both could die tomorrow, your situation sucks Snips and you are too young yet to notice it so of course you may call me skyguy to your heart content.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He is actually worse with Luke, honestly, it didn´t matter to him his little boy already destroyed the death star in ANH and his Master was calling for his head because he could become a Jedi and try to kill both of them, to Vader he was just "a boy"
Tumblr media
In ESB Vader was at the parenting stage of thinking about Luke like, that´s my baby, nobody can touch him or his friends until I say so ok?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So he can recognize when someone was too young to be send to war, slavery or fight his Sith Master and he was right most of the time, except when it´s about himself and his perfect Queen Padme, they were veteran kids just doing their jobs.
Love him honestly :D

I am really tired of the discourse already, but there is one thing I need to get off my chest:
There is absolutely nothing wrong with anyone who finds catharsis in the darker Astarion ending, no matter what loud voices online want to make you believe.
You are not wrong or immoral or in any way a bad person for using this narrative in a game exactly the way it is meant to-as an outlet for things that are rarely an option or maybe even undesirable in real life. You are not wrong for finding peace in revenge. This is a story, it is supposed to evoke strong emotions, and the virtual reality of a video game is a wonderful outlet because it has no consequences for anyone else, ever.
And finding joy/healing/relief in the thought of turning the tables on your abuser does not make you a bad person, it makes you very human. And once more, there is nothing wrong with exploring that via media. In fact, that is probably one of the healthiest ways to engage with these feelings.
So embrace what you're feeling, and please know that it says nothing about your actual morals or what kind of person you are, no matter what others want to make you think. Everyone deals with trauma differently, and it's not always pretty, and that is completely ok!
