okay, so in resident evil 2 remake making ada a fbi agent was top notch decision and i have thinking why she is dressed like that (trench coat with heels) so, i'n thinking... first of all, leon sees ada dirty- her trench coat dirty with blood.

remember those tapes that leon sees of william being chased by soldiers; wouldn't it make sense that we see ada there? like she yelling at william to give up the g virus. like i feel that seal up for leon why he trusted even more ada. he just sat and saw william turn into a horrible creature. like, he doesn't need ada's kiss (because let's be honest their kiss was her manipulating leon) he's like "yeah, i trust you." then when he is the labs, he sees video proof of ada searching something. we read wesker's emails of betraying umbrella with someone. like moments with leon and annette but he never gets to talk properly with her. he gets clues... piece by piece.

so when annette tells him, he denies but he read the notes... he saw how suspicious ada looks. why the tryant is after them? it's because of ada. annette could've placed mr x so ada won't get the g virus. annette is trying to cure her husband, she has her child with irons because she is scared wesker asked ada to take her child.

like leon now doesn't trust ada. he had the naive set mind of trusting what he saw and heard. but now, he doesn't trust ada. he saved her from falling because he is a good person who got betrayed. maybe because of me, but no necessary romance but a good betray. because even good moments between characters can still be shippable. the forced romance in writing makes me wanna puke but slow burn... that's where it is (if you wanna ship them)

in resident evil 4 remake, like ada is only sexually attracted to leon while leon doesn't give a shit. why should he trust her? then those little moments, leon could see ada isn't a super bad person. once again, no romance. no proper attempts because they are strangers who barely know each other. and ada with her situation with wesker getting more and more dangerous for her, she decided to drop him as an employer. it's not motivated by leon. it's for her and for luis. (headcanon: luis and ada know each other and other besties before the spain situation.) ada realized that she isn't safe like she used to. ada is a messy worker who know just wants to make wesker fall.

Replacing physical buttons and controls with touchscreens also means removing accessibility features. Physical buttons can be textured or have Braille and can be located by touch and don't need to be pressed with a bare finger. Touchscreens usually require precise taps and hand-eye coordination for the same task.

Many point-of-sale machines now are essentially just a smartphone with a card reader attached and the interface. The control layout can change at a moment's notice and there are no physical boundaries between buttons. With a keypad-style machine, the buttons are always in the same place and can be located by touch, especially since the middle button has a raised ridge on it.

Buttons can also be located by touch without activating them, which enables a "locate then press" style of interaction which is not possible on touchscreens, where even light touches will register as presses and the buttons must be located visually rather than by touch.

When elevator or door controls are replaced by touch screens, will existing accessibility features be preserved, or will some people no longer be able to use those controls?

If you aren't following the news here in the Pacific Northwest, this is a very, very big deal. Our native salmon numbers have been plummeting over the past century and change. First it was due to overfishing by commercial canneries, then the dams went in and slowed the rivers down and blocked the salmons' migratory paths. More recently climate change is warming the water even more than the slower river flows have, and salmon can easily die of overheating in temperatures we would consider comfortable.

Removing the dams will allow the Klamath River and its tributaries to return to their natural states, making them more hospitable to salmon and other native wildlife (the reservoirs created by the dams were full of non-native fish stocked there over the years.) Not only will this help the salmon thrive, but it makes the entire ecosystem in the region more resilient. The nutrients that salmon bring back from their years in the ocean, stored within their flesh and bones, works its way through the surrounding forest and can be traced in plants several miles from the river.

This is also a victory for the Yurok, Karuk, and other indigenous people who have relied on the Klamath for many generations. The salmon aren't just a crucial source of food, but also deeply ingrained in indigenous cultures. It's a small step toward righting one of the many wrongs that indigenous people in the Americas have suffered for centuries.

There is no crime any state could ever do that would justify any of that; there is no act of state repression that could ever make it acceptable to side with the organization spreading Nazi pamphlets and Holocaust denial.

Oppose Bibi Netanyahu. Oppose Israel’s far-right, authoritarian government. Oppose Likud’s policies. Oppose its violence against Palestinian civilians. That isn’t antisemitic. But Hamas is—verifiably, beyond a shadow of a doubt, to its core—antisemitic. Its portrayal of Israeli Jews as blood-thirsty, child-killing master manipulators that control international media and finance is antisemitic.
