Thank you to those who sent the kissing prompts❣️Kisses have always been one of my favorite things to write. I'm hoping to get at least 1-2 done tonight.
And I'm extra thrilled to say they will both involve my OC, Beauty; I've missed writing her so very much, and it's a real treasure to have this opportunity again.

hanging out at the sanctum sanctorum over winter break as a teenage avenger!
Tumblr media
type of writing: headcanons / scenario
word count: 766
request: yes / no
original request: hey can you do any headcanons about hanging at the sanctum sanctorum on winter break?
dynamic: avengers x teen!reader (teenage avenger series)
characters: reader, dr. strange, wong, peter parker, harley keener, miles morales, mention of natasha romanoff, steve rogers, sam wilson, and bucky barnes
a/n: this has been in my inbox for sooo long i'm sorry!! i'm going to still do winter break because even though it's spring (at least where i am), i like the vibes of winter break better!! ALSO requests are still open, just send in an ask!
taglist: @nutellani @thecloudedmind
(fill out this form to be on my taglist!)
-----------------------✰----------------------
so you, harley, peter, and miles were FINALLY on winter break.
that last week had felt like forever
and it was so tough to focus on studying for exams at the tower
but you got through it!!!!
and btw the cap quartet (natasha, steve, sam, and bucky) took y’all out for ice cream sundaes after your last exam to celebrate so that was fun
even though it was winter
ITS A TRADITION OK
anyways
the tower was fun to hang around in
but sometimes it got boring
ik it’s kind of a crazy thought
but you guys wanted to EXPLORE
live a little or smth
you all went to tony’s lab
to do science experiments !!!!!!!!!!
but he was in a mood or something LMAO
so he was like “why don’t you go bother dr. strange, huh? i’m sure he’d love some company.”
and you were like “ok!!!”
so the four of you walked over to the sanctum sanctorum
it wasn’t actually too far from the tower
once you got to the door it was actually locked
miles said maybe it was ~ magic ~
which honestly was probably true
so you knocked
and knocked
and knocked
and you could hear someone inside!!!! but he just wasn’t coming to the door!!!
then you heard someone say “stephen, i’m letting them in.”
and then the door opened & it was wong!!!
pause for applause
because wong is so underrated and i love him
WOOOOO YEAHHHHHH WONG!!!!
ok back to ur regularly scheduled programming
so wong was like “come in”
and when y’all walked in it was super cold
like freezing
so peter asked wong why
and he said “it’s the way stephen likes it. i’ll go change it now.”
and he did
and you heard this HUGE sigh and then dr strange came floating down the stairs
so dramatic
and he was like “why are you here”
there was a twinge of concern!!! a little twinge!!! but still a twinge!!!
and so harley told him that tony had sent you
strange just sighed really loudly
he kind of sighs a lot
but he said he and wong were just about to sit down for lunch
and that “i GUESS you can join us”
guys my interpretation of stephen strange is rly dramatic in case u can’t tell
and you all got SUPER excited because guess what wong made
guess
jk i’ll just tell you
HE MADE SOUP AND BREAD
that sounds basic
but y’all
wong’s soup? it’s the best soup you will ever taste EVER.
the flavor? immaculate. the seasoning? immaculate. the temperature? just enough that you have to hold it on your spoon a little bit before you eat it.
aka IMMACULATE
so the dining table in the sanctum sanctorum is actually really long. no explanation as to why because it’s literally just wong and strange but u don’t question them any more
anyways so the soup is sooo good
but while you’re eating you’re telling them about school
well you’re telling wong
stephen isn’t really listening LMAO
but you start telling him about what you’re learning in history
and peter starts talking about how he really liked learning about the dinosaurs
and suddenly strange is so much more interested
and he just goes “you like dinosaurs? here.”
and he opens a portal LMAO
and wong is like “stephen NO”
but stephen is already going inside of it
and so all of you look to wong for permission
but he’s just shaking his head
so you go in
and BRO long story short but there’s dinosaurs
and they’re HUGE
and harley is like about to cry
but peter and miles are like “WOAH AWESOME”
so you go up to strange
and you’re like “yeah ok great. can we go back now.”
and he’s like “ok”
AND HE TRIES TO OPEN A PORTAL
BUT IT WON’T OPEN
AND THERE’S LITERALLY A DINOSAUR COMING TOWARDS Y’ALL
AND HARLEY IS SCREAMING
long story short he finally opens it and you all sprint back into the sanctum sanctorum
and go back to eating your soup
and wong tells stephen to “stop traumatizing kids”
and it’s true tbh
anyways i think that the rest of your time at the sanctum sanctorum would include cleaning (because stephen says that if you stay you have to be helpful)
and you all play cards
go fish and uno
and stephen gets mad when he doesn’t win and makes you guys go back to the tower
LMAO
but on your way out, wong tells you that stephen actually loves having you guys over
so you’re definitely gonna go back :)

Why I think you guys might like Space Boy
Space Boy is a webcomic by Stephen McCranie. It's being gradually published in book form, but you can read the entire thing (as it currently stands--it's still in progress) online here.
It's set in the future in a world that's a little to the left of ours, and it begins with a girl named Amy, who lives on a mining colony in deep space. When her father loses his job, the family has to relocate to Earth. It's a long journey that requires them to be cryogenically frozen for the duration so they don't have to waste decades of their lives. Unfortunately, that means that Amy will wake up to find that she's now thirty years younger than her friends from home. It's a difficult adjustment, not only that but having to get used to a planet she's never been to before, but experiencing Earth for the first time is also cause for wonderment. Twinkling stars! Blue skies! Birds! Snow!
Amy has a form of synesthesia in which she perceives other people as having "flavors." Her mom is mint, her best friend is pineapple and jalapeno, etc. So at her new school, she is surprised to encounter a boy who, unlike anyone else she's ever met, has no flavor. None at all. Her curiosity will lead to even more mystery--no one knows who exactly this boy is, and there are a lot of rumors swirling around him--but also a friendship. Oliver has a lot of secrets, and as a result of her association with him, Amy will find herself caught up in a situation that's bigger and more dangerous than she could have anticipated.
And that's the plot, but what it's about is how to make sense of a world that seems chaotic and uncaring, how to find meaning when everything seems meaningless. It's about isolation and the need for human connection. It's about love. It's sweet and joyful and tragic and funny and poignant and suspenseful and gentle by turns. Although the story itself does not overtly address religion, the worldview is subtly, beautifully Christian.
A lot of what made me love this story was the characters. They feel very real. Amy is warm-hearted and guileless and determinedly optimistic, but she's got her share of struggles and low points alongside her sunniness. Oliver has a very different nature from hers, no less complex, and he's in the middle of a fantastic character arc. Their relationship, which progresses from friendship to romantic interest, is well-written; they bring out the best in each other, are mutually willing to sacrifice for the other, and are making genuine effort to be supportive and encouraging despite a lot of complications. I do not say this lightly: I ship it.
The supporting cast is excellent too, and many of these characters have their own subplots that connect to the main themes. This world feels well-populated with a variety of people that have their own stories and their own growth (...or not) to undertake.
The art is lovely, and it gets better and better as McCranie solidifies his style. There are fun unique design traits, like Amy's distinctive pigtails and pointy feet (her design was originally based off a teardrop motif!). The world is visually interesting, and I find this story to be as pleasant to look at as it is to read.
Anyway, I don't know if this is enough propaganda for you guys, but I'm willing to elaborate further if necessary. It's worth a try, you can read it for free, and it comes in small increments that make it easy to pick up whenever you have a free moment.
I enjoyed it a lot (the hiatus can't end soon enough for me), and maybe you would too!

The Twelve Days of McChristmas
I wrote this for a Twitter thread, a follow up to the my McChristmas Advent photo posts.
The first day of McChristmas is celebrated with family and those we hold dear, we watch A Princess for Christmas every year
Tumblr media
The second day of McChristmas is dedicated to honouring Celtic heritage. Today in Ireland traditionally has been celebrated with an annual hunt of a wren, while it is now linked to St. Stephen its origins are pre-Christian, either Celtic or Scandinavian.
Tumblr media
The third day of McChristmas we celebrate with a feast dedicated to the love that brought us together. We drink and make merry, sharing stories how of a Super and a Luthor in love overcame everything
Tumblr media
The fourth day of McChristmas is dedicated to lesbians both fans and characters, because as we all know you can’t have a McChristmas without lesbianism
Tumblr media
The fifth day of McChristmas is a celebration of bisexuality, because why eat one flavor of ice cream when you can try them all
Tumblr media
The sixth day of McChristmas is all about our animal companions so give them a treat, play with them for a little bit longer and give them some extra love today
Tumblr media
The seventh day of McChristmas is the day we thank to the gods for Katie McGrath’s onscreen sapphic kisses. So celebrate tonight with a kiss to ring in the New Year
The eighth day of McChristmas we start our new year off with a new book.
Tumblr media
The ninth day of McChristmas is celebrated with a tea party, let’s all enjoy some delicious baked goods and tasty tea.
Tumblr media
The tenth day of McChristmas was once shrouded in secrecy and some still prefer to keep it that way, a private celebration for a private person.
Tumblr media
The eleventh day of McChristmas is a sorrowful one. Today we remember all those we’ve lost.
Tumblr media
The twelfth day of McChristmas is a joyous one. Today we celebrate those who survived.
Tumblr media
It’s the final day of McChristmastide and I hope you’ve had a simply wonderful McChristmas time.

« Before World War II, when physics was primarily a European enterprise, physicists used the Greek language to name particles. Photon, electron, meson, baryon, lepton, and even hadron originated from the Greek. But later brash, irreverent, and sometimes silly Americans took over, and the names lightened up. Quark is a nonsense word from James Joyce’s Finnegan’s Wake, but from that literary high point, things went downhill. The distinctions between the different quark types are referred to by the singularly inappropriate term flavor. We might have spoken of chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, pistachio, cherry, and mint chocolate chip quarks but we don’t. The six flavors of quarks are up, down, strange, charmed, bottom, and top. At one point, bottom and top were considered too risqué, so for a brief time they became truth and beauty. »

Hey there ~ congratulations on the new job!😊
I saw that you're open for requests and I'd like to see some original flavor Stephen Strange x Female Reader, please. Wong has assigned an Adept to assist Stephen with some research he needs to do regarding some fabled spells that no one living has ever performed. She was always a lover of books, so it was natural for her to take on the duties of a librarian. She's shy and a little clumsy around Stephen at first, but over time she finally relaxes a bit and the first time she laughs out loud to one of Stephen's ridiculous puns/jokes, he starts to see her in a new light. Perhaps she makes herself quietly indespensible to him, and when the project is completed he realizes he doesn't want her to leave his Sanctum--sort of like Henry Higgins & Eliza in My Fair Lady. He realizes that his heart is not his own anymore.
Just for the first minute plus 20 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4P4w9SQI2o
@sobeautifullyobsessed
Thank you, this idea is so cute, sorry this took so long!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You smiled at Stephen when he looked at you. It was borderline staring but you didn't mind it. He was kind, sweet, and funny. You remembered when he started to let loose around you by telling a joke. You loved the way he smiled when you laughed at it. Since then the two of you relaxed around each other during this project. You had only hoped that once it was done, you would still be able to stop by and see him.
The day finally came and the project was done. You were in the library, packing your things when Stephen stormed into the library. "Don't leave." He said finally making his way to you. You stopped and looked up at him, realizing how close he was to you. Your cheeks turned red and your lips parted so delicately. "What's wrong?" You said softly.
Stephen cupped your face in his hands and gazed at you lovingly. "I can't imagine a life without you." He whispered and your heart skipped a beat.
"Are you alright? A-Are you running a fever?" You moved your hand to touch his forehead.
Stephen shook his head and smiled, "I've never been this alright in my whole life." Stephen gently rested his forehead against yours and stroked your cheeks with his thumb. "May I kiss you?" He asked softly. You responded by kissing his lips softly and wrapping your arms around his shoulders. Stephen held you close as he returned the kiss.
When you two finally pulled away, he smiled sweetly at you. "Stay with me." He begged.
You gave him a gentle smile and nodded, "I think I have to now." Stephen chuckled softly at your joke and you pecked his cheek.
"You have my heart," Stephen said to you as he leaned in for another kiss.

I've noticed you talking about voice acting a couple times on this blog. Would you be able to discuss your favorite vocal performances in the Digimon franchise, particularly your favorite of each season?
Sure! I think Digimon has been blessed with some amazing voice actors and direction both for the original Japanese version and most of our American English dubbing.
Rolling off the top of my head, starting with the Japanese version:
Adventure: I would say probably a toss-up between Taichi (Fujita Toshiko) and Sora (Mizutani Yuuko), mainly because of the little flavor they manage to add in their nuance that can change greatly depending on performance. It's difficult to describe how Taichi can sound aggressive and yet laid-back at the same time, while with Sora there's often a little subtle "petulance" that comes with what she says when she's particularly annoyed, but it's easy to feel both of those when you hear their voices in action.
02: As a self-proclaimed 02 lover I could gush about the casting all day and the nuance each voice actor captures, but after all I have to give it to Daisuke (Kiuchi Reiko) for the sheer range of emotion that comes out of him. Also, it's just plain funny. Whenever Daisuke's flustered or pushed into a corner, he makes these little cute "nggAAAAAH" interjections that are so much fun. That said, special credit goes to Wormmon (Takahashi Naozumi) just for the sheer question of "how the hell do those voices come from the same person?!"
Tamers: Takato (Tsumura Makoto). When I hear the story of how they went all the way back to the studio to listen to Tsumura's tape that almost got completely lost, I believe it. There's such an interesting straightforward innocence in that performance that really sells the character.
Frontier: Tomoki (Watanabe Kumiko). Tomoki is part crybaby, part gremlin, and part sweet child, and I think Watanabe really brought that all out at once (of course, the gremlin comes from Watanabe herself, but it lends a lot of flavor to Tomoki's character).
Savers: Chika (Kikuchi Kokoro). Similar to Takato, I love the "earnestness" that comes out in her performance.
Xros Wars: Kiriha (Kusao Takeshi). I've heard Kusao in a lot of things before, but I'm used to him playing more good-natured guys, so I was surprised to hear him playing someone more overbearing. That said, I like how he came off as more "put-together" and less edgy for the sake of being a tryhard (even though he is a tryhard).
Appmon: This one's another really tough choice, but probably Gatchmon (Kikuchi Kokoro) and Offmon (Shimamura Yuu). Seriously, how is this the same voice actress as Daimon Chika again? Curious and rough-around the edges Gatchmon...? Meanwhile, as for Offmon, well...offu. I don't think I need to clarify further.
Adventure: reboot: Probably Mimi (Kohno Marika). I remember being rather surprised at how fitting her voice was for her version of the character, and it was just very fun to listen to her.
Ghost Game: As someone who's known a lot of Sawashiro Miyuki's roles up to this point, I am amazed she can produce Gammamon noises so well...
Meanwhile, down in the American English dub area:
Adventure: Despite me having mostly switched over to working with the Japanese version at this point, I think Mona Marshall’s Izzy is still an extremely formative part of my perception of him, even considering how different of a character he is from Koushirou. It’s the right mix of smart-aleck but straightforward.
02: Ken is a difficult role to pull off, especially since (from what I understand) most dubs casted for the Kaiser/Emperor before they casted for second-half Ken, but despite that situation I think Derek Stephen Prince did an amazing job capturing all of those facets at once. He also voiced Veemon, and the fact Ken and Veemon are voiced by the same character is a fact I routinely forget unless I’m reminded because of how well the roles are distinguished.
Tamers: Steve Blum’s Guilmon! Dear goodness! It’s nasal but not annoying and still incredibly cute! (Of course, I didn’t find this out until later, but it’s not even that far off from the tone Nozawa used for him.) At the time, it was especially surprising because everyone was used to him having roles more like Yamaki (whom he also voiced -- again, that they share a voice actor is something I forget a lot because of how well it was divided).
Frontier: Michael Reisz as Takuya! He was returning after having been Matt in Adventure, but I’ll be honest in that I think I actually like his Takuya better. He does a good job bringing the gremlin child out of him.
Data Squad: Difficult pick, but probably Crispin Freeman as Thomas. (This is also a returning role for him, since he’d voiced Kouichi in Frontier, but in this case I will also have to say I probably prefer his Thomas.) Since Tohma is a pretty polite and by-the-book person, I think it’s very easy to act him out like someone very flat or boring, so I’m glad this was avoided.
I unfortunately haven’t seen Fusion all the way to the end, so this is where I have to leave off!

Surprise Sunday Morning Breakfast (Stephen Holder Drabble)
Fandom: The Killing, Stephen Holder, f!reader
Summary: After a horrible week, your boyfriend surprises you with breakfast in bed.
Word Count: 832
Tumblr media
The last few weeks had been some of the hardest of your professional career. At work, several people had been out sick, one woman just left for maternity leave, and one of the company’s biggest clients just demanded an important rush job to be finished by the end of the week (even though this type of project normally took a month to complete). So, even though you had been one of the only ones holding the business together and it was Sunday, you had to go into the office again today. But at least, at this moment, curled up under the covers in bed, you could try to forget about all of that.
That was until you felt a small nudge against your shoulder. You ignored it, trying to cling to the last remnants of sleep. But then there was another, harder nudge, this time digging into your ribs. Groaning loudly, you rolled over, trying to escape the early morning attack. Your alarm hadn’t gone off yet, so you knew you still had some time to sleep. That was if your assailant left you alone.
But then, the smell hit you. A buttery, sweet aroma that made you moan in delight as your mouth began to water. Turning back over, you cracked open one eye to see your boyfriend standing over you, grinning like the idiot he was. Stephen was wearing his “O.G.: Original Grilla” apron and holding a tray loaded down with food.
Sitting up with a yawn, you asked sleepily. “What’s this all about?”
Stephen’s grin widened as he gave a little shrug. “Made ya breakfast in bed. I know you been havin’ a rough couple of weeks and we ain’t gonna get to spend the day together, so I figured I’d do somethin’ for ya now. Got all your favorites: chocolate chip pancakes, coffee with all that crap you put in it, and some fresh fruit ‘cause we both know you need to eat more of that.”
You rolled your eyes playfully at him, then said, “Baby, you didn’t have to go to all this trouble. I was just going to grab a granola bar from the breakroom at work.”
“Exactly. You’ve been runnin’ yourself ragged these past few days and you need ta eat somthin’ good for once. Can’t have you gettin’ sick too.” He placed the tray on your lap and sat down on the edge of the bed. Carefully cutting into the pancake, he lifted a forkful to your lips.
You quickly ate the bite and let out another moan as the flavors coated your tongue. “I still don’t know how you do it, but your pancakes are the best I have ever tasted! You have got to show me how you make them.”
“Yo, if I did that, you wouldn’t have a reason to keep me around anymore. That secret’s goin’ with me to the grave!”
You chuckled as he fed you another bite. “That is a very good point. But there are a few other reasons I keep you around too.”
“Really? What?”
“This for one.”
You grabbed him by his apron and pulled him into you., his mouth pressing into yours. His tongue ran lazily over your bottom lip, savoring the remaining syrup that lingered there. But as he leaned deeper into you, you gasped as hot liquid covered your lap.
Jumping to his feet, Stephen realized he had knocked the tray of food over, covering both of you and the bed with the remains of his lovingly prepared meal.
“Ah, shit!” He ripped the covers off of your legs, trying to keep too much of the mess from soaking through to your bare legs. Running his fingers over your warm thigh, he asked, “You okay?”
“Yeah, just a little heat, nothing I can’t handle. But I should probably be getting ready for work anyway. Thanks for the breakfast, baby. It was delicious.” You placed a sweet kiss on his cheek and climbed out of the soiled bed. “Do you think you could clean this up?”
He nodded as he started peeling the dirty sheets off the bed and you couldn’t help but watch him. Unlike all of your past relationships, Stephen had no problem doing “woman’s work” around the apartment. He helped out with the dishes, the laundry, the cleaning, and he ended up cooking dinner more often than not when he wasn’t busy with a case. And something about seeing him gathering up the stained bedding while still wearing his ridiculous apron made your heart flutter.
Glancing down at the time on your phone, you saw you still had another hour before you had to leave for work. Sneaking up behind Stephen, you kissed the back of his neck and whispered, “Actually, I have to go take a shower. Want to join me?”
Whipping around, Stephen dropped the sheets that had been bundled in his arms and followed you almost hypnotically as you beckoned him to follow you into the bathroom.

Today's mix:
Hearts of Space 574: Goa Trance by Steve Davis and Stephen Hill 2000 Ambient / Space Ambient / New Age / World Music / Downtempo / Dub
Hearts of Space is a popular weekly radio program that's been on the air since 1973, has been broadcasting nationally on public radio in the US since 1983, and, for a time, was also on Sirius XM as well. Coming out of San Francisco, the show's been primarily hosted since day one by a guy named Stephen Hill, who has delivered over 1,300 roughly hour-long and uninterrupted thematic transmissions of slow, eclectic, and psychedelic sounds that he refers to collectively as "space music"—largely ambient, new age, and world stuff.
And apparently I've stumbled upon a bit of a goldmine here, folks, because it looks like every single one of these transmissions since '83 is up on the Hearts of Space website itself, which also has this darling, futuristic-looking interface that should really take you back to like, I don't know, 2004?
Have a look and tell me you don't love just how cozy this is 😌:
Tumblr media
So, today I listened to my first ever Hearts of Space episode, a transmission that originally aired in October of 2000 called "Goa Trance." And, well, none of it actually happens to be Goa trance 😬. I mean, look: there is certainly a mystical Indian flavor to much of this music, which is where Goa trance originated from—the coastal beaches of the tiny state of Goa to be more exact—and a lot of it is psychedelic as well, which is another trait of Goa trance. Plus, one could also classify all of these songs as entrancing too. But at the end of the day, Goa trance is a specific form of electronic dance music, with things like four-on-the-floor kick drums and a pretty specific sound and vibe, and not a single track within this set meets that criteria. So, methinks Stephen Hill was a bit confused on the terminology here.
That said though, this transmission seems to represent an hour's worth of Hearts of Space's very own bread and butter: windingly psyberdelic ambient and new age journeys. And while I'm definitely no ambient junkie myself, I don't see how those who are couldn't love a tune like legendary Brooklyn bassist and avantgarde electronic hero Bill Laswell's "Hear No Evil," because, while it's definitely not my full get-down, that one clearly seems to be the most complete production within this set here. And it seems like Hill only actually played half of it.
For me, though, almost everything that I enjoy listening to requires a more prominent and conventional kind of drumbeat that I can contentedly nod my own head along to. And those types of rhythms are contained in songs like Bob Holroyd's snail's-paced downtempo groove, "Adrift in Kerala," as well as the intercontinental ethnic fusion of The Third Planet's "The Rhythmic Experience," which manages to build itself up towards a pretty spectacular conclusion.
So, with having an idea of what Hearts of Space is all about, I guess I shouldn't have really expected to actually hear dance music in the first place, but then again, if something is called "Goa Trance," I guess I don't really know what I should expect otherwise either 🤷‍♂️.
Regardless of all of that though, if you're someone who digs themselves some spacey ambient tunes, then I think I just found over 1,300 hours worth of stuff for you to really immerse yourself in!
Listen to the full episode here.

I slurped castlevania twice (I'm sorry for saying it like that but most unfortunately it's the perfect word for what I've done with this show) and today I decided I'm gonna continue with b5. now my head is even more of a mess, this time b5-flavored with castlevania aftertaste. it's something. not necessarily a good thing, thankfully not a bad thing, definitely an intense. thing.
warning for b5 mid s2 spoilers, since I know at least one person on my dash may care :*
I am in stupid love with g'kar. it's decided. I fucking love him. I don't care what he's done or will do, I've reached the point of no return. his design is fucking amazing also. I wish I had something more substantial to say, but eh. I love his scheming and his despair and his care for his people and his optimism? after all? despite all? how he was ready to die while assassinating the centauri emperor, but the moment he heard the emperor wanted to apologize to the narn -- and there wasn't even much more to it, an offer of apology, admission of wrongdoings (though hey ok, I think giving back some territories too) -- he was so fucking ready to take it, grasp at it, move forward with it.
I didn't also expect for londo to be so ruthless, and I love how he knows what he's doing is wrong, but not in the twirling his mustache kind of way -- he feels obvious guilt, shame, even horror over what he does and yet he continues doing it with his eyes wide open. nice.
I am heartbroken over delenn becoming (part?) human not because she's human, but because I loved her original design much better, lol, her hair is bothering me. kinda sad she lost lots of her influence, but I also really appreciated the way in which it happened. loved her turning into a cocoon though. I can't wait to learn more of her past and every time we get to see something darker in her, than her carefully crafted (yet not fake?) pleasant ambassador persona the more I'm into it.
in general I enjoy every single character I get on screen. big big fan of stephen also. I need more kosh. susan is a delight. atm I think sheridan didn't buy me yet fully, but I'm willing to be bought and I'm waiting patiently. talia is... an interesting case also, I'm into whatever plot she's involved with at the moment, but there's something... missing. maybe it's because so far she's been standing more next to the rest of the characters instead of with them, due to being psi corps and all, and she seems so separated, so polished, even when in distress and vulnerable.
I have more thoughts, but they're too scattered for me to turn them into more words. maybe I'll start writing shorter impressions more often while watching.
ALSO. Holy shit. are stims the way I know them from countless star wars and star trek fics actually from b5??? I thought it was purely a fanon thing, but one of the episodes described stims WORD FOR WORD how they are in fics I've read. just! huh!!

kung fu hustle 2 has been in the talks for the longest of times, and while I'm excited at the possibility of it coming out I think it’ll only redeem itself if it brings back more or less of the original cast. namely, yuen qiu and yuen wah. most of stephen chow’s movies after 2004 have been geared towards mainland china, and market and profit wise it makes sense but in return his movies have been flops in my mind, and I’m sure to many hong kong citizens too. his humor doesn’t translate to mandarin well, and the essence of his films were always him and his jokes. It just doesn’t make sense otherwise and I’m not against a full mainland cast but he himself is not as funny in any other language other than cantonese... so if he’s going ahead with kung fu hustle 2, he needs to bring back some of his previous flavor into his films again. at his age, I really doubt he’s gonna but whatever, he’s had a good run.

February 10th - A restaurant song with a twist

Many thanks to Bubba Hudson on vocals and production mix by Stephen Cooper, Nashville, TN. There’s so much flavor in this song Here’s the forty-first new music post for 2024, as I consistently share an original song for your listening pleasure. This is a restaurant…
