there are so many things i didn't get to do during my initial playthrough of disco elysium that I'm so so excited to try and do in my next one I am positively giddy

like i can't think of a single other game where even after finding out what all of these tasks are my sheer desire to replay the game has not diminished even a tiny bit in fact it might be stronger?? what a feat honestly

Coworker: You know, you were talking about that book the other day at lunch, and I kinda wanted to read it.

Me: What book?

Coworker: The Hobbit.

Me: You’ve never read the Hobbit?!?!? Did you get it??

Coworker: I started last night and I’m already almost to the end…..I’m starting to feel strangely sad thinking about all the time I wasted being “too cool” to read for pleasure when I was younger. I wish I had known about this book when I was a teenager - it would have changed my life, I think. There’s just something about this story that I really love. It’s, like, comforting??

I'm a little behind in posting this, but in June I finished up a second mural at John MacLure Community School.

I decided to illustrate he salmon life cycle in almost a story book or colouring page theme. The mural is located in a large "nook" in the hallway at the main entrance featuring two spawning sockeye. Trailing behind behind the mural is additional flowing imagery of salmon eggs, fry, and alevin. It was a challenge taking a full photo of the space due to limitations of the hallway space and lighting. You can also see the Thunderbird mural I created last year out the window.

spent the last two weeks working on my third (!!!) painted piano for the city! this public art piece will be out and about the town for people to play.

my theme this year was prairie dogs and the other animals they benefit as ecosystem engineers and keystone species!
