Saw The Flash movie tonight, it was better than I expected but I wasn’t really expecting much lol. Grant Gustin will always be my favourite Barry Allen/Flash but Ezra did play both versions of their Barry really well, their scenes with Nora were the best and most emotional scenes in the film. There were some good comedy moments when Barry is talking to the younger version of himself about Back to the Future and YB keeps saying Eric Stoltz is Marty McFly. (Stoltz got replaced as Marty by Michael J Fox 5 weeks into filming).
Saoirse Monica Jackson was only in a few scenes as Patty Spivot and despite her trying the American accent you can’t take the Derry out of the girl.
Michael Keaton was brilliant as old Bruce Wayne/Batman who still kicks ass and looks cool doing it, loved the Danny Elfman Batman theme playing. It actually made me think of playing the DC Lego games with my nephews instead of the Tim Burton movies.
(Slight spoiler for the end)
After Barry repairs the timeline and meets Bruce outside the court my mum says to me “why’s George Clooney there?” Lol
