Honestly, I find it absolutely hysterical that my old PayPal card info was stolen. Because, whoever took that info has been relentlessly trying to donate to charity. Like, legit charities nationwide.

I mean, I had to report the card as stolen, and change my password and all that, but still.

Anyway, I woke up this morning to an email about how a $50 charge was declined because my card was reported as stolen. It was to the freaking Delaware Submarine Association.

Honestly, that makes me wonder how many of those other times I had "insufficient funds" to cover a "transaction" were just someone trying to donate to charity using my card.

I mean, it's almost stopped since I reported my card stolen, like, this is the first one in like, two weeks. But still.

I'm trying to find the humor in it. Like, hun, if you find $50 in there, you let me know? Cause I got nada, and I need/want some things.

Is there a way to donate anonymously to you for the laptop issue? I have a very unique name and if I send anything you would essentially be able to find my home address because of my job lol no offense intended but I prefer to keep my internet presence anonymous even for innocuous things

ack, as far as im aware there isn't - on ko-fi the only thing that's visible is the name you enter (i.e., you could be anonymous there or put a tumblr handle) but then the paypal payment can't be anonymous

i promise i don't remember or look at the names on paypal no matter what!! all i really look at is the ko-fi interface page to send messages and keep track of request; i just use paypal to accept the sum

that being said i totally get the hesitation and i respect it completely, especially for internet things - thank you for thinking of me though!!
