Open Shell is your friend.

It gives you a classic start menu, customizable to the one you prefer, with loads of customisation options including most or all of the above. It also fixes windows explorer/search.

It was literally the first thing I installed on my new PC after Malwarebytes and Firefox.

There was definitely something not right with the old graphics card, besides the obvious. I use MSI Afterburner to keep an eye on temperatures, and the old one was hovering around 40 degrees on idle.

The replacement runs at a steady 27-28 degrees idle with the exact same fan curve and settings ...
