Option 2 means :

Apparently one of the "cool" new trends among online dog communities is to hate on Ruffland kennels and say people who get them aren't REALLY protecting their dogs. "Oh they're so much worse than -insertoverpricedkennelbrandhere-"

Because you know. You must drop $800-$1500 on a """better""" car kennel or you want your dog to die in a car accident. If you can only afford $200-500 for a Ruffland you might as well just let your dog be loose in the car apparently 🙄

i used to freehand comics all the time as a child and since the part i liked was the drawing part i would just draw panel after panel because i didn't want to stop drawing to think about icky icky words, plus the story TOTALLY still made perfect sense! to me! and noone else, but 'whoooo caaaaares omgggg its not like comics and sequantial art are a communicative meeediummmm lmaoooooo'. i spent my entire childhood telling myself stuff like "oh pfft I know this story by heart- ill SIMPLY remember the dialogue and write it later" ...and. I can't help but admire baby maiora's (call that a minora ba tm tsk) fucking audacity? hubris? confident wrongness? kid couldn't even remember to finish the comics in the first place? INCREDIBLE levels of unearned self assurance, wish that were me, genuinely- what an icon!!! anyway i think i have forever cursed myself

Some people call the persona protags self inserts with no personality outside of that and those people are just wrong, like even outside of spin offs and anime or manga. Like even in the main games you can find characterization in the choices they make independent of you, their mannerism and idle animations, their characters designs, their potential dialogue options, and in the internal monologue when they're reacting to things. I love the protags because they have personalities of their own whole still allowing you the ability to shake that personality slightly with the choices you make and the things you say throughout the game. Persona protags my beloved

everyone on earth probably has a hypothetical farming sim in their mind's eye that they daydream about on occasion because of the unfortunate situation that despite there being like a thousand farming games released every minute only like 4 of them are any good. and i think this is fun, i think its good to keep the imagination alive. if i made a farming sim i would bring back rival marriages from the old friends of mineral town. i want to steal someones wife.
