honestly? no collar + no chip = no owner fr fr. i like sometimes cats get out when they arent supposed to and their collars get ripped off. understandablw. but like. if u have an "outdoor cat". and it does not have a collar, and it does not have a chip. how the hell is ANYONE supposed to tell ur lil guy apart from a stray??? literally how??

for real!! sorry, no owner! this cat has no evidence of being someone's pet! no collar, no chip, no missing flyers, nothin!!! and there's nothing to differentiate a missing cat from an outdoor cat from a friendly stray from a dumped/abandoned cat. They Are The Same.

Proud: I have treated myself more kindly this year, allowing myself grace after making mistakes and making strides towards having a healthier relationship with myself. Good: I got a job before my old job was eliminated, so there was no gap in my income which was a huge relief.

one of my coworkers today was saying how she pretended that her dog was a service dog so she could bring him in the grocery store and one of my coworkers was treating it like an okay thing to do

i cannot handle people like hey let’s not do that

#this girl also said she wants to ‘make her dog a service dog’ so she can bring him to college #HELLO #sorry needed to yell for a minute bc like #a) even if you have a dog who is well behaved it still poses a risk to actual service dog teams #b) your untrained dog does not want to go to stores with you i promise a lot of sd training is just being able to exist in public #without getting stressed your pet dog does not have those skills #c) it is quite literally breaking the law #anyway in conclusions leave your pets at home/only bring them to pet friendly places

#ooc. ･ﾟ ✹#lmao hand reveal #which is why I’ve been kinda absent fjndnc sorry #okay so long story short his owner kicked him out of his home cause his wife had allergies #I’ve been saying hi to this kitty every time I go out to take out my trash #he’s super friendly and doesn’t leave his past owners porch :(#I mean thankfully they still fed him and kept his litter box out but it wasn’t cleaned and idk if they gave him food or water everyday #turns out they never let him in even during bad weather and there’s tons of cars and pests and idk what else happening #so the nice summer weather we had was gonna turn into snow storms and rain and cold....so I took the cat #which is fine. the owner said I could keep him if I wanted cause he couldn’t stay with them #and unfortunately I have two territorial cats already in a small one bedroom apartment...hoping my friend is going to take him cndndnd #but I swan to John PLEASE...AT LEAST TAKE A PET YOU DONT TO A SHELTER OR SOMETHIN SMH....#LOOK AT THIS SWEETHEART AND HES PURRY AND SO SWEET #this was a long story in tags

I've got puppy fever so bad out of nowhere 😭 can someone let me borrow their dog for a few hours to just like hang out with? I'll take them on a nice walk through a dog park and play with them and only give them slightly too many treats 🙏

#ive got a pet sitting gig lined up next month already but those are Big doggos #and they stay at the clients house or daycare they dont come home with me #i want a little puppy to hang out with me while i work from home and we can go on walks together and go to the dog park #and theyll cuddle with me and give me little puppy kisses and wag their tail all excited when my gf comes home from work #and theyll probably chew on things theyre not supposed to and pee on the floor but its okay bc theyre so cute and baby #and its my job to train them so they grow up and learn to Not do those things anyways. and maybe i can even teach them tricks!#i just miss having puppies 😭 dogs in general actually but especially puppies #i want a little puppy and then i want it to grow up into a little dog and i want it to be my friend #but weve already talked about it and we dont plan on getting a puppy until we have some place with a yard #which makes sense bc going on walks multiple times a day seems like a pain especially with us living on the second floor #and no matter how dog friendly our apartment complex is that would still be our only option...#but still :( i miss living with puppies #rambling

I just saw an absolute supermodel of a stray cat on my walk this evening omg

#someone put the sky in this cats eyeballs I have never seen eyes so blue on an animal before #she was one of those long haired white cats with the grey tails and faces #and her nose was pink with this little black outline #and SO friendly.#easy to coax up to me and let sniff my fingers. and immediately head bonked my hand.#and then did it again multiple times #she let me pet her too #she was vv skinny though there’s no way she has a home.#lune’s thoughts

Y'all I am so tired. So unbelievably tired of people abusing the civil rights of disabled people. Tired of having to assume that every single dog we unvested in public (and half the ones with cheaper vest options) are at best untrained and at worst fully aggressive. I'm exhausted from having businesses tell me they "can't do anything" about fake service dogs, dirty pets, aggressive dogs, and dogs in shopping carts.

It is so so so DRAINING to be trying to do the best I can with my SDiT and end up triggering my issues because I'm forced to be hypervigilant literally Every Single Time we go into non pet friendly spaces.

And I know. I. KNOW. That fully trained service dogs are extremely good at ignoring distractions (including other dogs). Hell my girl is 18mo and she's doing great in that regard.

But pets being where pets don't belong is dangerous. It's abusive to dogs who aren't prepared to be in stressful environments. It's a potentially lethal distraction for disabled people who rely on service dogs. An attack can be career ending for SDiT.

So please. Please please please. If you take your pet into SD Only places: STOP

If you know someone who does this: educate them and irritate and pester them until they STOP

I don't want them!#I spent the day constantly being asked to prove that I was working and not doing anything suspect on my computer #and since tumblr is quite a suspect thing I could not do it at all #worked on the idiot project. decided I was going to turn into a hermit crab and live in my orange soda can. ate bread. reconsidered.#came home and found a cat on our porch! a lovely tortoiseshell #nobody we've ever seen around the neighborhood before. very polite moderately friendly moderately clean. probably an outdoor pet?#if it were more feasible I'd have brought her inside but alas #she ate an enormous amount of kibbles and indicated great contempt for my bowl of water and eventually melted into the bushes #I'll check for her again tomorrow #tomorrow morning I'm going to have a meeting with someone who will both validate my disdain for the idiot project /and/ help with it #it's going to be so good for me #anyway this song is amazing. one of the few I reliably play loudly #excellent chorus. builds on itself wonderfully #'I don't wanna lose myself / I don't even know how to not be my own enemy #I don't wanna lose my health / I don't even know where to run from my own memories'

I will actually spend my savings on a super computer and get sims 5 if it turns out to be open world

#the sims #sims 3 ow is worth the lagging I said it #I recently got sims 4 (I’m 10 years late ti the party)#and there are things that are good about the way sims talk to each other is so much more realistic #build mode is more user friendly to simmers… who suck at build mode #but it has nothing on sims 3 open world #in Sims 3 if you had pets you could ride your horse all the way to the other side of town #take your baby or toddler out for a stroll if you had generations #even if you just had base game the freedom of open world was amazing #also it was so easy to switch between one or you sims at guest house another at home and another at the gym for example #in sims 4 my child sims went to visit the Goths and then when we got home the parents had almost left the toddler to starve to death #I genuinely think combing the best of sims :l3 and the best of sims 4 could make one of the best games ever #but ea probably won’t do that #also fuck ea anyway for seperating sims pets into to two expansion packs #watch sims 5 have 3 expansion packs for pets one for cats one for dogs and and one for hoses
