What are the other national parks you’ve been to besides Yosemite? Any favorites? I really want to go to the Sequoia National Park someday. It’s on my bucket list.

I pretty much love them all. For awhile I was visiting a new one a year or every couple of years… but I’ve haven’t been traveling as much. I’m thinking when I retire..? Who knows.

Next on my list is Death Valley, Joshua tree, glacier and katmai! ✨

I’m still working on paintings but I wanted to step away from Spyro re-draws and try to apply what I learned to them to draw some photo’s I’ve taken. Unfortunately I’m really having a hard time getting it from the sketch stage to the rendering/painted stage. I think my lack of experience is really holding me back because I don’t want to over use textures on a lot of the surfaces. Might shelve it for now and maybe do more whimsical cartoon-y redraws before jumping right into photos.

Anyway this will be a start point, I think I’ll revisit this photo later but use my imagination to change the composition a bit and hopefully get the hang of some techniques I feel confident using for real life studies. For now I think I learned a bit from it, but don’t want to stress myself out trying to finish it since I’m still figuring this type of drawing out.

you are completely allowed to have feelings, emotion and passion for a server - that’s amazing!! keep that up!! but don’t mistake that passion for something worse and let it guide you into making creators feel awful just for playing with their friends

when damian was sent to investigate a‘brainwashing summer camp’ he was not pleased. The kid who shared his cabin room might make it more bearable though. Danny seems to hate this place just as much as he does.

Two days later after both of them are tied up in the store room for spying, maybe he should have come in with a better plan.

U know what? a collection of various scribbles. They range from drawn this morning to drawn months ago when I was still trying to get the hang of the characters shapes (those heavy expressions were my first time drawing him and I hate him. I wish he was easier to draw. He is not.)

Okay well you try being constantly asked by media in a crowded, echoing space if you’re having problems with your confidence after you’ve shown improvement that has been ignored. You try being kind to people only to have the kindness thrown back in your face and vitriol said behind your back. You try facing back handed commentary and snide remarks about your future. Day in and day out, you try having article after article slandering your name being put out simply because people hate that you have money in a sport where that is the norm.

I’d be fed the fuck up too. Lance shouldn’t have to play nice for these people to treat him with the bare minimum respect. He deserves his seat, and I’m sick of it always being questioned if he does.
