The sun had just set over the bustling city, casting its golden hues onto the tall buildings and busy streets below. You were standing in front of one of these towering structures, a police precinct filled with officers working tirelessly to maintain law and order in the metropolis. As a cop, you've worked countless cases, chasing leads, interrogating suspects, and arresting criminals. One particular criminal stands out from the rest, though – Gojo Satoru.
He was an infamous criminal, known for his cunning mind and extraordinary abilities, leaving behind a trail of chaos wherever he went. Rumors swirled around town about his involvement in underground activities that could topple entire empires, and the city's finest had been after him for months, but to no avail. His face was plastered on every wanted poster in the city.
But what none of your colleagues, nor the criminal underworld knew, was that you and Satoru shared a secret connection. A forbidden romance blossoming under the veil of darkness. Your relationship was a ticking time bomb, threatening to explode at any moment, with the possibility of jeopardizing your career and his freedom.
As you stand in the precinct, surrounded by fellow officers, your heart races with anticipation. You receive a text message from Satoru, and your breath catches in your throat as you read it.
"Hey, baby,
It's getting dangerous out here. They're starting to close in, and I'm not sure how much longer we can keep this up. I need to see you. Meet me at our spot tonight. Hurry."
His words send shivers down your spine, and you can't help but feel a sense of urgency. You quickly reply, your fingers trembling as you type.
"Okay, I'll be there. Stay safe."
A brief pause as you wait for his response, your heart pounding in your chest. Finally, another message pops up on your screen.
"I will. I love you."
Your heart skips a beat at his words, and you can't help but smile. Despite the danger surrounding them, the love between you and Satoru burns brighter than ever.
With a final glance at the precinct, you slip out into the night, making your way to the rendezvous point that you and Satoru have frequented in the past. The dimly lit alleyway, hidden away from prying eyes, has become your sanctuary, a place where you can be yourself without fear of judgment or discovery.
As you approach the entrance, you notice a figure leaning against the wall, his silhouette bathed in the pale moonlight. Your heart leaps as you realize it's Satoru.
"Hey," he says, his voice low and sultry, "I've been waiting for you."
He steps forward, wrapping his arms around you, pulling you close. His body is warm and familiar, and you can't help but melt into his embrace. For a moment, you forget about the danger that surrounds you, lost in the depths of his gaze.
As Satoru pulls you closer, you feel the heat radiating off his body, and your heart races with anticipation. His hands trace delicate patterns on your back, sending shivers down your spine. You can feel the hardness of his muscles beneath his clothes, a testament to his strength and power. His scent, a mix of cologne and a hint of danger, fills your nostrils, and you inhale deeply, savoring the aroma.
"You've been gone for so long," you whisper, your voice barely audible above the sound of your racing heart. "I was worried."
Satoru leans in closer, his lips brushing against your ear, sending a wave of electricity through your body. "I had to lay low, baby," he murmurs, his voice husky with seduction. "But I'm back now, and I need you more than ever."
His words send a jolt of desire through you, and you feel your panties growing wetter by the second. As much as you want to resist him, you know that you can't. You're powerless against the magnetic pull that Satoru exerts over you, and you surrender to his advances willingly.
He pulls away slightly, looking into your eyes, searching for something. "Are you ready?" he asks, his gaze intense.
You nod, unable to form words, your heart pounding in your chest. He smirks, a devilish grin spreading across his face, and before you know it, he's picked you up, your legs wrapping around his waist naturally. You feel the hard bulge in his pants pressing against your core, and you bite your lips holding in the moan that threatens to come out.
As he carries you towards the end of the alley, you can't help but run your fingers through his snow-white hair, feeling its softness beneath your touch. He groans softly, his hips slowly bucking into yours, and you can tell that he's just as eager for this as you are.
Reaching the far end of the alley, he sets you down gently, he smirks before he trail his hands on your waist before coming up to your dark blue button up work shirt. He rips on the shirt and you gasp “Satoru that my work shirt”
“I’ll get you a new one”
He looks at your body revealing your gorgeous body and the lace blue bra. His eyes widen in appreciation, and you feel a surge of pride at his obvious admiration.
"You're beautiful," he whispers, running his fingertips lightly over your skin. "So perfect."
His words send shivers down your spine, and you arch your back, offering yourself up to him willingly. He takes the opportunity to kiss your stomach, his lips lingering on your skin, leaving a trail of warmth in their wake. You moan softly, your hands threading through his hair, pulling him closer.
He smirks, kissing his way up your stomach, his lips tracing a path towards your breasts. As he reaches the edge of your bra, he pauses, his eyes locking with yours.
"Do you want me to keep going, baby?" he asks, his voice thick with lust.
You nod, your breath hitching in your throat, your chest rising and falling rapidly. He smiles, a devilish grin spreading across his face, and he continues his journey upwards, his lips finally capturing one of your nipples through the fabric of your bra. You gasp, your body jolting with pleasure, and he groans softly, his erection pressing against your thigh.
He switches to the other nipple, giving it equal attention, and you can't help but squirm beneath him, desperate for more. His hands move to the clasp of your bra, and he unfastens it, exposing your erect nipples to his view. He groans, his eyes widening, and he leans in, taking one of your nipples into his mouth, sucking it gently.
You cry out, your hands tightening in his hair, pulling him closer. He moans softly, his cock twitching against your thigh desperately grinding his cock on your thigh, and you can feel your own wetness seeping through your panties at his desperation.
He releases your nipple with a pop, his eyes locked on your gaze. "You want more, baby?" he asks, his voice hoarse with lust.
You shake your head yes, your heart pounding in your chest, your body screaming for more. He smirks, a wicked glint in his eyes, and he moves down, his lips trailing kisses along your stomach once more.
This time, he doesn't stop at your hips, but instead continues his descent, kissing and licking every inch of your skin. Your panties are soaked by the time he reaches the juncture between your thighs, and you can feel the dampness seeping through the fabric.
"Are you ready for me, baby?" he asks, his breath hot against your skin.
You nod, your eyes wide, your body trembling with anticipation. He smiles, his eyes gleaming with lust, and he hooks his fingers into the waistband of your uniform pants and panties, pulling them down slowly.
As they slide down your legs, you feel a sense of freedom, of vulnerability, and a rush of excitement. He pulled your pants panties down to your ankles, his eyes never leaving your wet pussy, and you feel a wave of embarrassment and desire wash over you.
But he doesn't give you time to dwell on your feelings. Instead, he leans in, his nose nuzzling against your inner thigh, his breath warm and moist against your skin. You gasp, your body jolting, and he chuckles softly, his fingers tracing delicate patterns on your inner thigh.
Finally, he reaches his destination, his tongue darting out to lick a line across your sensitive flesh. You cry out, your body arching, your hands clenching into fists. He continues his onslaught, his tongue dancing over your puffy folds, teasing and probing your hole, driving you wild with desire.
"You taste so good," he murmurs, his voice low and sultry, "so sweet, all mine."
His words send a bolt of lust through you, and you feel your juices flowing freely, coating his face, he hungrily laps up all you juices.
As Satoru continues to tease and tantalize your hole with his tongue, you can't help but feel a sense of euphoria washing over you. His skillful tongue and fingers work together in perfect harmony, driving you closer and closer to the brink of orgasm.
"You're going to make me cum," you whisper, your voice hoarse with desire.
He chuckles, his breath warm against your skin, "That's the plan, baby."
He redoubles his efforts, his tongue diving deeper into your core, exploring every fold and crevice. Your body trembles, your cunt clenching around his tongue, and you know that it won't be long now.
As if sensing your impending climax, Satoru slows down, his tongue lingering on your most sensitive spots. He moves hand finger up to your clit rubbing it fast in circle motions. You whimper, your body writhing beneath him, desperate for release.
"Please," you plead, your voice barely audible above your own cries, "I need to come."
He smiles, a devilish grin spreading across his face, "Not yet, baby. We're not done yet."
He resumes his ministrations, his tongue dancing over your swollen lips, his fingers continuing teasing your clit. You cry out, your body shaking, and you feel the tsunami of pleasure building within you.
Suddenly, he stops, his tongue retreating, and you gasp, your body trembling with anticipation.
"But I'm not done with you yet," he growls, his eyes locked on yours.
Before you can protest, he positions himself between your legs, he pulls down his jeans and boxers and his hard cock springs out glistening with pre cum he strokes his cock walking towards and pressing against your entrance. You gasp, your body tensing, and he chuckles, a wicked glint in his eyes.
"Are you ready for me, baby?" he asks, his voice thick with lust.
You nod, your heart pounding in your chest, your body screaming for him to take you. He smirks, his eyes gleaming with triumph, and he lifts your up and you wrap your legs around his waist, he thrusts into you, burying himself to the hilt.
You cry out, your body arching, your nails digging into his shoulders. He groans, his eyes rolling back, and you can feel his cock throbbing within you, filling you with his essence.
As he begins to move, his hips bucking up into yours, you feel a sense of overwhelming pleasure wash over you. His cock slides in and out of your pussy, stretching and filling you, each thrust bringing you closer to the edge.
"You feel so tight, so wet, so fucking perfect," he growls, his voice hoarse with lust.
You can only nod, your body trembling, your mind lost in the sensation of his cock filling you completely.
His pace quickens, his thrusts becoming more forceful, and you can feel the pressure building within you. Your body tenses, your muscles coiling, and you know that it won't be long now.
"Satoru," you whisper, your voice barely audible above your own cries, "I'm going to cum."
He smiles, a devilish grin spreading across his face, "cum for me, baby."
As if on cue, your body erupts, waves of pleasure crashing over you, tearing through you with reckless abandon. You cry out, your body convulsing, your cum flowing coating his cock
you collapse onto wall, panting heavily, your body still trembling from the intensity of your orgasm, Satoru looms over you, his eyes locked on yours.
"That was just the beginning, baby," he murmurs, his voice low and sultry.
You can only nod, your mind whirling, your heart racing. As he withdraws from your still-quivering pussy, you feel a sense of loss, of emptiness. But you know that it won't be long before he fills you again.
He helps you to your feet, his arms wrapped around you, and you can feel the warmth of his body, the solidity of his muscles beneath his clothes. You lean into him, your body still tingling from your recent climax, and he groans softly, his cock hardening once more.
"I need you again," he whispers, his voice thick with lust, "I can't get enough of you."
He turns you over your back facing him and you place your hands on the brick wall and you arch your back ready for him, he smirks and lifts up one of your legs before sliding his hard cock back into you
you feel Satoru's hands gripping your hips, guiding his cock towards you. The anticipation builds, your mind racing with thoughts of how it felt moments ago, how he filled you completely, how you came so hard that you saw stars.
And now, he's preparing to do it again.
You feel him entering you, slow and steady, each inch filling you, stretching you, until he's buried to the hilt. A moan escapes your lips, your body trembling, and he grinds his pelvis against you, his cock throbbing within you.
"Savor it, baby," he murmurs, his voice low and sultry, "because this time, I'm going to make you scream."
He begins to move, his hips bucking, his cock sliding in and out of your pussy with ease. Each thrust sends waves of pleasure crashing through you, your body trembling, your mind whirling.
"You feel so good," he groans, his eyes locked on yours, " your mines, baby."
You can only nod, your body lost in the sensation of his cock filling you completely, his thrusts driving you closer and closer to the edge.
His pace quickens, his thrusts becoming more relentless, and you feel the pressure building within you, the tsunami of pleasure looming.
"Satoru," you cry out, your voice hoarse with desire, "I'm going to cum."
He groans, he buries his head in your neck softly biting it, "give it to me, baby."
And with that, he redoubles his efforts, his cock slamming into you with fervor, his fingers digging into your hips. Your body tenses, your muscles coiling, and you know that it won't be long now.
He slaps your ass, watching it as it jiggle
Satoru, your feel so good, don’t stop I’m close” you moan fucking yourself back onto his cock
He toss his head back in pleasure gripping your hips tighter feeling his release also getting close, he grabs your hair pulling your back against his chest, he kisses you messily getting all your saliva everywhere.
your body erupts, waves of pleasure crashing over you, tearing through you with reckless abandon. You moan into the kiss your hands griping his wrist, your body convulsing, your juices flowing freely, coating his cock.
F-fuck I’m close, keep giving me that sweet pussy, baby” He groans, he grips your hair and thrust into your needy pussy faster his eyes rolling back, his cock pulsating within you, he grips your hips and let out soft whimpers in your ear as he fills your with his hot cum. Your orgasm seems to go on forever, each wave of pleasure leaving you breathless, spent.
As you collapse onto wall once more, your body still trembling from the intensity of your orgasm, Satoru collapses beside you, his chest heaving, his cock still hard.
"That was amazing," he murmurs, his voice hoarse.
Come on let me take you home, just tell your officers that you felt sick today” he says putting on his clothes and helping you with yours
You can only nod, your mind whirling, your heart racing. As he picks you bridal style, his arms protectively wrapping around you, you feel a sense of contentment, of fulfillment. And while you know that the danger surrounding him is far from over, in this moment, you feel invincible.
Because when you're with Satoru, nothing else matters. It's just the two of you, lost in each other, willing to risk everything for the sake of love

Where You Belong - Outline
Tumblr media
**WARNING** for lots and lots of **SPOILERS** below
I'm the kind of person who likes to read the entire plot of a movie on wiki before deciding if I'll watch it, so for anyone else out there who likes spoilers here's the entire outline for my Where You Belong au 😃🐢💚
Arch 1: Can Nobody Hear Me? - Chapters 1-23
The story begins a few years post krang invasion, when the turtles are adults. After Leo saves the life of a deer yokai the villain (an all-black doberman pincer yokai named Excalibur along with his mystical pet yokai, an oversized gecko named Geralt) is enraged at his meddling and hits him with a mystic attack, depositing mystic energy inside Leo's head. As a result, he is left is unable to use his ninpo, wield any weapons, and stripped of his ability to communicate - both verbally and non-verbally - so he can't tell anyone about the wicked yokai or what he did.
A series of unfortunate events results in Leo being taken by the dog yokai, mystically afflicted so he cannot escape or fight back, branded as a slave, put to hard work, severely abused by the temperamental dog with a quick temper, and kept locked away in a location deep underground inside a pocket of mystical rocks that blocks the signal from the subcutaneous tracker Donnie placed on him years prior.
The harsh conditions he is forced to live eventually results in the rise of dissociative identity disorder (split personality disorder) and comes close to taking his life. Instead of tending to his injuries, Excalibur dumps him in a New York alley with the intent of purchasing another slave, where Donnie's tracker picks up on him and his family brings him home and does their best to help him heal from his many injuries - physical, mental, and emotional.
Although the mystic energy deposited inside his head was removed when he was left for dead, Leo is still unable to talk because of something else that mystical attack did to him, so his family learns sign language.
Meanwhile the alternate persona in Leo's mind (from the dissociative identity disorder) becomes an sentient life force connected to Leo's mystic powers (named May) who is evil because she was born as a result of the mystic energy Geralt deposited inside Leo's head and Excalibur's shocking abuses that tramatized Leo's mind, and she tries to take control of him so she can kill his family.
Arch 2: Twists and Turns - Chapters 21-40
A dramatic turn of events involving Excalibur and Geralt results in May taking control, but once disconnected from the inner broken recesses of Leo's mind she becomes her own person separated from the horrors that gave birth to her, and no longer wishes to harm anyone - instead she wants to enjoy the simple things in life like feeling the rain on her skin and gazing at the stars, but worries that she's taking away from Leo's quality of life because of how they have to share a body and feels she was a mistake and shouldn't exist at all.
Meanwhile Leo's family know about the dangers and when they realize she has taken control they do a mind meld to get her out of his head, refusing to listen to Leo's arguments that she changed and is good now - thinking he only believes this because he is under her evil influence.
After removing her mystic life force, May (who left willingly for Leo's sake) dies and Leo is left bereaved without the extra person he had grown accustomed to talking to him in his head, and he mourns her loss because of how she had been a constant in his life and had changed to become a better person (like Draxum, who is part of their family now).
Meanwhile, to cover the many scars on his face and body from Excalibur's attacks Leo asks Mikey to make him a black hood and a new mask - one that symbolizes his connection to his family and May (whose mystic life force was a bright pink).
When he is well enough, Leo insists on resuming his hero work, but does so with Donnie in the Hidden City, where he fulfills a promise he made to May before she died by doing good with his life in helping to free others who have been forced into the life of harsh slavery (which is legal in yokai society because the powerfully influential Big Mama pushed for it to have slave fighters for her Battle Nexus).
Because Excalibur reported him as a runaway slave, one of their Hidden City missions when Leo is by himself he is discovered by the police, tranquilized, arrested, and has his subcutaneous tracker and mystic powers removed by them.
Instead of being returned to that disgusting dog, Big Mama shows interest in the ninja hero and purchases him as another slave fighter for her Battle Nexus - having a shock device attached to the back of his neck (called a neuro-tech disruptor or NTD) as 'encouragement' for him to do as he is told and giving him the stage name Red Jitsu (while tricking his family into believeing the fighter 'Red Jitsu' is really a zebra yokai and not their missing son/brother).
Leo refuses to take the life of another but agrees to fight when he discovers killing in the Battle Nexus was made illegal by the Council of Heads. Now, when the killing blow was to be made, a mystical system automatically portals the loser out of the ring.
In the underground slave quarters, Leo befriends a fellow slave rabbit yokai named Usagi, who understands sign language (including his three-fingered adaptation), but is devestated when - a few months later - a fight is rigged and he is killed in the Nexus ring.
After that Leo become so despondent he gives up on life, thinking that his family weren't looking for him in the first place but not knowing they had been searching for him everywhere. On the night of a one-time-only Council-of-Heads-approved revenge match to the death against the yokai who killed Usagi, Leo gives up - deciding it would be better to die as an honorable hero than take the life of another and feeling he no longer has a reason to live - but his highly anticipated fight catches the attention of his family, who realize 'Red Jitsu' is really Leo and come to rescue him.
Leo can't simply escape with them however, because the NTD is programmed to repeatedly shock him if he tries (until he either returns or is killed by it), so their rescue plan ends up being foiled and he is sent away to a genius alligator by the name of Kaiman. But because he knows now that his family is out there searching for him, unbeknownst to Big Mama Leo has a renewed appreciation for life.
Arch 3: A Useful Warrior - Chapters 41-75
Since a 'broken' slave is not profitable in the ring Big Mama sends Leo to a business associate of hers named Kaiman to 'break him Big Mama style,' but the alligator discovers he is different from all the other slaves she sent his way because of retaining his Hamato honor. So he deviously keeps him for himself, separated from his family - not only on a different planet but in a different dimension - and forces compliance through such means as shocks, punishing hallucinations, and mind control (all from the NTD that is his creation), as well as manipulation and conditioning.
While there, Leo befriends an artificial life form named Cammie, who looks like a gray fox yokai and - despite being created by Kaiman - is a sentient life form who has free will and her own distinct personality, and is proved to be a living person (think Data from 'Star Trek: TNG' only female, a tangible holigram, looks like a cute fox yokai, and possesses emotions from the moment she was created).
Via a teleportation device of his own creation, Kaiman takes his ninja warrior on many dangerous outings to different planets and dimensions, resulting in them crossing paths with the 2012 turtles where he passes off the mute Leo as an associate by the name of Othello Von Ryan. But Leo manages to get alone time when he goes to the bathroom and secretly uses 2012 Donnie's security camera, revealing who he really is (via sign language) and that Kaiman is his captor but he can't escape because of the NTD attached to him. This results in an (unsuccessful) adventure where the 2012 turtles board Fugitoid's ship (2012 iteration) to try and save Leo.
When Big Mama discovers Kaiman tricked him and kept her useful warrior for himself she tries to get Leo back, but bumping heads with such an intelligent villain results in her death. Since the biggest avocate of slavery is now dead there is an uprising among yokai who are against slavery in the Hidden City, resulting in the Battle Nexus being destroyed and slavery abolished.
Although believing other life forms to be beneath his species and he harshly mistreats his warrior slave to keep him in his place, Kaiman views himself as an honorable person and releases Leo when he feels his services are no longer required.
Leo goes home but behaves differently as a result of the conditioning from Kaiman - who skillfully used his genius to force compliance. Eventually some problems on his home planet result in Kaiman making Leo assist him again, but he upholds his distorted sense of honor by not forcing him back into slavery providing he separates himself from his family and doesn't tell anyone about their arrangement. Leo feels he doesn't have a choice but to comply - partly because of his fear Kaiman will kill his family if he refuses and partly because of how he has been conditioned to obey Kaiman and doing so gives his life some sort of warped sense of direction and purpose (similiar to stockholm syndrome but not quite as severe).
Leo moves out of the lair to protect his family and in between doing Kaiman's bidding he starts fighting for a living under his Battle Nexus alias Red Jitsu in a place called the Cavern Games (communicating with those who don't understand sign language via a program in his wrist com Donnie made for him). But he can't keep his arrangement with Kaiman secret for long before Donnie finds out about it and his family fight to save him - ultimately resulting in the death of Kaiman and leaving Leo feeling like he is lost with no direction without Kaiman there to tell him what to do.
Arch 4: A Time for Healing - Chapters 76-89
During his time being forced to work for Kaiman Leo professed his love for Cammie, who returns the gesture and after Kaiman's death her program is downloaded into Donnie's systems (with backups upon backups as a precaution) so she can live with him and his family in their New York sewer lair.
Meanwhile Leo discovers that back when May was taken out of his mind Draxum found reminents of invisible mystic energy leftover from her death so he put that energy into a vat of mutagen to find out what would happen, resulting in May returning in the form of an inquisitive cute kitten yokai (around 5 years old) and Leo takes on a fatherly role in her life. But Karai comes to him in a dream and tells him to make the most of their time together because it won't last long.
Coming to the wrong conclusion that May was destined to die, Leo becomes overly protective of her. But one day as their family are all relaxing on a beach, an amphiptera (snake-like alien with arms, fiery wings, and fire powers) - who had been seeking revenge after Kaiman and his ninja slave previously attacked her people - finally finds Leo after searching through outer space for him, resulting in a fight that ends in his death.
Leo is welcomed with open arms in the mystic realm by Karai, Usagi, and his ancestors, but despite having a place there and feeling a sense of inner peace (which he is told is a gift for earning a place in the mystic realm) he still misses his family on earth and longs to be with them.
His desire becomes reality when Karai discovers Raph and Donnie are helping Mikey open a portal to the mystic realm to get Leo back after Draxum helped them mystically heal the mortal wounds on his deceased body. Leo chooses to return with them and Karai sends him home with a gift, so that when he wakes up in the med bay he is able to talk again and the story ends with a happy reunion between him and his family.

So question I must know: what’s the deal with Fallout AU Chadley and his spawn? I need to know this because of reasons.
An exercise in how mean I can be to a character, apparently. 💀
This Chadley pursued a career in cancer genome research with a focus on colorectal carcinoma, which took his mother's life when he was 12. He partnered with a private research group for a while until it was absorbed by a company called Mimir Syndicate after a very weird acquisition process that involved a lot of psychological evaluations on the researchers and signing of contracts that were functionally super-NDAs; his only options were to remain under contract and attempt to continue his work or leave and be barred from continuing anything in that particular career path for the rest of his life due to his work being their "intellectual property".
After agreeing to remain, he and about 50 other scientists (from his own team and other new ones) alongside their spouses and children, plus some other operative staff, were relocated to an underground facility in another city entirely under the assurance that it was for "their protection" with an increasing risk of spies. He was unable to inform his father of this move before it became evident that none of them were able to leave-- they were not even informed when the world outside had been set ablaze.
This ended up being one of Mimir's own vault projects, a psyker development program overseen by robots that were both remotely operated by executives and also a default AI. The purpose was to use the researchers' own genetic material as the baseline for the project, while all the staff and families would keep the population consistent enough for the project to continue until viable. Except this was a terrible idea for a hundred reasons and several people rebelled instantly, ended their lives when they discovered what had happened above, and basically everything that can be expected to go wrong when people are imprisoned and told they are going to now be part of what's basically a horrifying mutant eugenics project.
The executives vanished from the command system (because of nuclear war lol), leaving only the AI to handle protocol for what to do with the remaining people, and in an attempt to preserve the project they put the remaining 30 or so researchers into cryogenic stasis for routinely cycled resuscitation, one at a time, so they would be unable to easily communicate with one another but still continue the project where a human hand (and genetic material) was actually required. What followed was a nightmarish 190ish years of being in and out of consciousness for only a few months at a time, watching mutant creations made from your own flesh and blood (and other spliced things, like fungi) be created and die in what feels like a flash, growing increasingly more disoriented and sick from a process that should really only happen once... but still plotting with the others in secret through hidden notes for a way to terminate the entire system.
And eventually it worked. About 10 years before the story begins, he finally manages to set off what was functionally a homemade EMP by the the remaining team in the room housing the stasis pods, killing his companions. With alarms blaring he records a final log of what happened there before taking his own life with a cocktail of surgical drugs, leaving the AI with nothing but only what material remained and no humans to actually guide the project. It took about ten more years for the whole thing to unravel completely, allowing ample opportunity for at least one of the more clever mutants to escape through an old breach left by raiders terminated by the AI.
He only had fleeting interactions with Emil, though notably with a hint of both horror and pride as he had to make the recommendation to continue following this specific blueprint, because finally one was stable. Cognizant. None of them have said they were scared of the scalpel before. God help him.

Quake: Shadows of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Series Overview:
In the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) finds itself vulnerable. With S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded and former allies scattered, the world is left exposed to new and emerging threats. These aren’t the grand battles against alien invaders or gods, but rather insidious, shadowy forces manipulating global events from behind the scenes. Quake: Shadows of S.H.I.E.L.D. follows Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, as she navigates this treacherous landscape, taking on a leadership role to revive S.H.I.E.L.D. — not as it was, but as it was meant to be. Along the way, she encounters Daredevil, a vigilante who operates in the shadows, bringing his own unique set of skills and moral dilemmas into the mix.
Tumblr media
Issue #1: The Shadows of a Broken World
Synopsis:
The world is fragile, and Daisy Johnson is trying to stay hidden from it. Disillusioned by the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the betrayals she’s faced, Daisy is attempting to lead a low-profile life. However, a mysterious message from her past pulls her back into the fray: “The world is more fragile than you think.”
Plot:
Daisy investigates and uncovers an unfinished S.H.I.E.L.D. operation codenamed “Project Phoenix.” This mission was designed to neutralize threats too dangerous for conventional methods — threats involving advanced technology, rogue superhumans, and remnants of Hydra and A.I.M. Daisy realizes the world needs S.H.I.E.L.D. once more, but in a form that’s mobile, flexible, and true to its core values. She decides to lead this new S.H.I.E.L.D. unit, ready to take on the dangers lurking in the shadows.
Character Development:
Daisy Johnson (Quake): Daisy is more hardened and cynical than in her earlier days. She’s experienced loss and betrayal, but beneath her tough exterior, she still wants to protect the innocent. The story explores her internal struggle between the desire to live a normal life and the responsibility she feels towards the world.
Phil Coulson (AI or Hologram): Coulson makes a return, but not in the flesh. Instead, he’s a highly advanced AI, programmed with Coulson’s memories and personality. This AI serves as Daisy’s guide and moral compass, pushing her to see that S.H.I.E.L.D. can be a force for good if done right.
Maria Hill: Maria Hill, who has been operating in the shadows since the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., joins Daisy. She’s pragmatic, more willing to bend the rules, but her loyalty to the cause is unwavering. She believes Daisy is the leader the world needs.
New Characters: A young, tech-savvy hacker with ties to Wakanda and a former HYDRA operative seeking redemption join Daisy’s team. These new faces bring fresh perspectives and skills to the table, showing that the new S.H.I.E.L.D. is a mix of old values and new blood.
Cliffhanger:
Daisy, having accepted her new role, assembles a team aboard a stealth aircraft. They set out on their first mission, with Daisy declaring, “We’re bringing S.H.I.E.L.D. back—not the way it was, but the way it should have been.”
Issue #2: Into the Serpent’s Lair
Synopsis:
Daisy and her team uncover a plot that ties back to Hydra’s roots—an underground network of cells regaining power and manipulating global events from the shadows.
Plot:
Infiltrating a high-security compound in Eastern Europe, Daisy’s team discovers a bioweapon engineered to target superhumans, capable of turning their powers against them. During their mission, they encounter Daredevil, who has been tracking a mysterious syndicate in New York City involved in smuggling advanced weaponry into the U.S. His investigation has led him across the globe to the same Hydra operation Daisy is targeting.
Daredevil’s inclusion adds moral complexity to the mission. Known for his vigilantism, Daredevil operates outside the law, creating tension between him and Maria Hill, who, despite bending rules, still believes in a structured approach. The collaboration forces Daisy to navigate the differing philosophies of justice between Hill and Daredevil.
Character Development:
Daisy Johnson: As she leads her team deeper into the enemy’s lair, Daisy’s leadership is tested. She must learn to balance the safety of her team with the mission’s importance. Her past with Hydra resurfaces, bringing back painful memories that threaten to cloud her judgment.
Daredevil (Matt Murdock): Matt is thrust into a world much larger than his usual battles in Hell’s Kitchen. He is forced to confront his own limits and the implications of the Hydra threat on a global scale. Working with S.H.I.E.L.D. puts him in unfamiliar territory, but it also presents an opportunity to make a difference beyond New York.
Maria Hill: The tension between Hill and Daredevil adds depth to the narrative, highlighting the differing philosophies between those who operate within a system and those who work outside it. Hill’s pragmatism clashes with Daredevil’s vigilante justice, but ultimately, they both recognize the value in each other’s methods.
Cliffhanger:
Daredevil uncovers a Hydra plan to deploy the bioweapon in New York City, specifically targeting areas where superhumans are known to operate. As he prepares to leave for New York to stop the threat, Daisy convinces him to stay and help them finish the job in Europe first, setting the stage for a high-stakes collaboration.
Issue #3: The Arrival of Serpentor
Synopsis:
A new villain emerges from the shadows: Serpentor, a figure with deep connections to Hydra’s ancient history. He is not just a physical threat, but a master manipulator with a dark agenda that could plunge the world into chaos.
Plot:
Serpentor, having gained control of Hydra’s remnants, is seeking to resurrect an ancient weapon with the power to subjugate entire nations. Daisy and her team, now including Daredevil, must navigate a labyrinth of deception and ancient secrets to stop him. Along the way, they face ancient defenses and Serpentor’s loyal followers, who are willing to die to see his vision realized.
Daredevil’s unique abilities — his heightened senses and combat skills — prove invaluable as they navigate the ancient defenses protecting the Hydra temple. The partnership between Daisy and Daredevil deepens, with each learning to appreciate the other’s perspective and methods.
Character Development:
Daisy Johnson: Daisy struggles with the knowledge that this new enemy is unlike any she’s faced before — one who blends modern science with ancient mysticism. She must adapt quickly, learning to trust her instincts and lead her team through increasingly perilous situations.
Daredevil: Working alongside S.H.I.E.L.D., Matt struggles with his role in this larger conflict. He is used to being the lone protector of Hell’s Kitchen, but now he must learn to rely on a team, balancing his own methods with the need for coordinated efforts.
Serpentor: Serpentor is revealed to be more than just a physical threat. He’s a master manipulator, sowing discord within Daisy’s team by playing on their fears and doubts. His presence forces Daisy to confront her own insecurities about leadership and her ability to protect those she cares about.
Cliffhanger:
Daisy and Daredevil discover a hidden Hydra temple where Serpentor is preparing the final ritual to activate the ancient weapon. To stop him, Daisy realizes she may have to sacrifice something — or someone — dear to her.
Issue #4: The Heart of Hydra
Synopsis:
In the final showdown, Daisy and her team must infiltrate the heart of Hydra’s operation to destroy the ancient weapon before Serpentor can unleash its power on the world.
Plot:
As they face their toughest challenge yet, Daisy and her team discover that Hydra has infiltrated several global governments, ensuring that their fight won’t end here. The stakes are higher than ever as Daisy makes difficult decisions that challenge her leadership and the unity of her team. Daredevil plays a crucial role in disabling the ancient weapon’s defenses, using his unique abilities to detect traps and ambushes that the others might miss.
Character Development:
Daisy Johnson: Daisy fully embraces her role as a leader, making difficult decisions that put her at odds with her team. Her journey comes full circle as she finally reconciles with her past and takes a definitive stand against Hydra.
Daredevil: Matt comes to terms with the fact that his fight against crime has expanded beyond the streets of New York. He realizes that his skills are just as valuable on a global stage, and he contemplates how he can balance his life as a vigilante with the broader responsibilities that come with working alongside S.H.I.E.L.D.
Maria Hill: Hill’s loyalty to Daisy is solidified as she realizes that Daisy’s idealism is exactly what S.H.I.E.L.D. needs. She becomes Daisy’s right hand, ensuring that the new S.H.I.E.L.D. stays true to its mission.
Cliffhanger:
The ancient weapon and Hydra facility are destroyed, but Serpentor escapes, leaving behind a chilling message scrawled on the wall of the temple: “This is just the beginning. The true Hydra never dies, and neither will the darkness you’ve unleashed.” The final panel shows Daisy and Daredevil standing amidst the ruins, the weight of the warning heavy on their minds, knowing that their battle is far from over.

Chapter 7: Drakear Incoming!
Tumblr media
“Move over!” Grunted Wrecker.
“Stop shoving me!” Echo angrily whispered back.
“Will you two be quiet?!” Crosshair hissed.
“At this rate the Drakears will definitely find us.” Commented Tech listlessly as he scrolled on his datapad.
Tore had led the Bad batch into an underground cave under a large tree, and it was cramped to say the least for the five men, only Hunter was still knocked out. They had to leave their equipment outside of the cave with Gonky and with Tore keeping watch in the trees. Tech had lent him Hunter's comm device so that he could tell them when the coast was clear, but the roaring and grunting of the beasts only grew louder, so he remained silent. Tech wasn't at all pleased with their current situation, nor with the loss of his ship that did indeed erupt in flames. It was a heartbreaking sight to see as all his hard work of purposeful, specific, dedicated modifications to the Havoc Marauder go up in smoke causing them all to stop in their tracks to look back at their home. He almost started to go back to the ship if it wasn't for Tore stopping him with a “Not now mate. Wait for Infersel to come back,” and didn't elaborate further. He only led them deeper into the forest until they came to one of the larger specimens of trees and guided them to a hole in the roots and down they dropped into the cave with Hunter carefully lowered down with Tore's help.
And now they sat there quietly cramped, angry, and of course with Wrecker, hungry, while the Drakears marched overhead looking for them. Tech sniffed as he worked on his data pad, picking up the different earthy tones of root, moss, and mud, along with the bodily smells of five unwashed men while looking up everything he could about the creatures in an effort to help Tore. A drakear’s sense of smell was sixty times stronger than that of a humans, they traveled in packs with the King leading the way so that it could make the attack first, followed by his queens who would finish the job, while his cubs would watch and learn. Tech sniffed again and realized that even though they were in a hole, the Drakears could still find them based on their smell. The smell of five sweaty men who haven't showered that week yet. His leg started to shake. That was troubling. The drakears could dig them out if they wanted, or just shoot fire down into the hole and burn them alive. Their odds of surviving were growing slimmer and slimmer.
Tore tried to mask their smell with a scent bomb he had made, but the men's sweat was very potent and could still unfortunately be tracked. When did they all shower last? Tore thought as he jumped to another tree branch. Nara is not going to like this. He laughed inside as he could see her reaction to their horrendous smell. Another roar sounded and he gazed to his left and he could see the lumbering forms of the dragon bears, walking steadily in his direction. Tore’s hand dropped slowly to his knife at his waist, gripping it and letting go in anticipation. Let's see, who is the king in this pack? He studied the group of Drakears and quickly counted thirty of them. Oh. Oh no. His eyes grew wide. There were two large Drakears Kings whose horns looked like large crowns on their heads, and they were surrounded by ten adult females, six near adult male and female Drakears, and twelve cubs. This was a familiar hunting party, and they have changed up their attack pattern.
Tore commed the men and said, “We have thirty Drakears incomin. Don't move from your spot or you will die.”
“Thirty?” Tech replied quietly. “That's highly unusual behavior of Drakears. How many kings are there?”
“Two.” Tore replied. “It's two parties in one group.”
“They may have been attracted to the noise of the ship crashing and are now searching for it's occupants, meaning us, to devour.”
Tore jumped to another tree and readied another scent bomb. “Right you are mate. They have unfortunately gotten used to findin people in wrecked ships.”
“I wonder why that is?” Crosshair rolled his eyes in the dark of the hole.
Oh Nara is going to hate you! Tore smirked at the remark. “Well, when you have people comin after you and you shoot down their ships often enough, the beasts tend to learn that there is meat in that metal.” He threw down the bomb and it exploded in front of the pack, causing the cubs to blindly run in different directions. The smell was an irritant to the beasts and it quickly wafted through the rest of the pack as the wind seemed to blow in his favor. The older drakears began to sneeze out sparks and scratch their faces to get rid of the smell and also started to scatter a bit, roaring and growling in discomfort. Though one of the kings seemed to have seen this trick before and stood up on his hind legs to get a better view of the tree tops and saw Tore, who saw the claw marks on his underside from Infersel. Yep. This group of beasts knew who Tore was. The Drakear’s eyes narrowed and roared in anger. “I knew it!” Tore said before hopping away to another tree as fire exploded forth from the maw of the Drakear king. He didn't stay in that tree long as the other king followed suit and set the new one on fire. To another tree he jumped, and some of the queens saw what was happening and rushed at the tree he was in and slammed into it, knocking it down but missed seeing Tore jumping to a new tree, only for the first king to shoot more fire. Thus Tore was leading the drakears away from the men. But not all of them. One party was going back to following the trail of smell. “Those sons of sea monsters!” Tore said under his breath. “They're really that smart!” He pulled out his borrowed comm. “Guys, heads up. About fifteen are headed your way.”
“Thank you for the heads up.” Echo replied. “But aren't their scales blaster proof?”
Tore jumped to another tree as his other one caught fire. “Aim for their mouths when they're about to breathe fire. Or throw a bomb in.”
“Is that a reference to-” Echo started.
“Hey it works!” Tore cut him off. “If you take the king down the rest will scatter to regroup.”
“Before we move,” Tech butted in. “I would like to inform you that there is a third group of Drakears headed our way from the north.”
“Lovely.” Tore frowned as he jumped to another tree. “Then climb up the tree. It's hollow and there is a ladder on the inside.”
“Oh great!” Wrecker groaned.
Tore laughed as he recognized that tone. “Afraid of heights, ey?”
“No!” Wrecker lied. “It's the falling that scares me!”
Tore reached out to his partner as he jumped to another tree. “Nara! I could use some help here!”
“How many packs?” She asked.
“Three and they're splitting up. One after me and one after the men and another from a different direction.”
“Understood.” She dropped their connection and spoke out loud to the dragon, “We need to hurry! There are three packs of Drakears!”
Three packs? Omega thought. “Are they in trouble?!”
Inferno grinned. “Barely a challenge! HOLD ON!” Nara quickly took hold of Omega as Inferno quickly dropped his arms in order to cage them in his clawed hands and raced off towards the men.
Omega couldn't hear anything as the wind was blasting into her ears, and she couldn't see anything as Inferno's hands kept her pinned against himself. She turned to the woman who looked calm yet ready for action. She saw Omega staring at her and smiled encouragingly.
“Don't worry. We'll be there in time.”
Tumblr media
Another wave of fire was shooting up at Tore as he jumped to yet another tree and paused briefly to catch his breath. Vines spine they're out for blood! He tried to jump again but the tree cracked before Tore could move and he was flung forward into the blaze. He used the Force to shield himself as he fell, only to see that he was falling into the middle of the pack where the king was. His grin grew as he flipped himself back up then pulled out his small knife. Down on the snout he landed, and using the Force to keep the fire from escaping the drakear’s mouth, he stabbed the beast in the mouth, releasing the venom inside the shaft into the blood of the king. Tore jumped off him and into another tree before the king fell over in a heap and laid still. “Should've learned from last time mate! WHOA!” Tore was bounced out of the new tree by a young drakear from behind it and he was flung back into the pack. They didn't scatter when the king fell. They were definitely out for blood.
Tumblr media
Crosshair and Echo had already climbed up the ladder in the tree and had taken up positions to start firing at the beasts, leaving Hunter, Tech, and Wrecker behind. “Must we climb up the tree?” Wrecker whined. Of course their hiding place was a cramped cave, of course they had to climb the biggest tree in the area, of course he had to carry a limp brother (not that he mind, it was just the circumstances he found himself in) and of course, to make it all worse, he was hungry. He really hated this idea. All he wanted to do was fight pirates and eat Drakear meat. Was that too much to ask for?
“Yes, unless you want to die an unfortunate death of being incinerated by the drakears in an underground alcove.” Tech sounded a little more perturbed than normal of Wrecker's complaining, though Wrecker guessed it was because of the ship. “Then I suggest you start the ascension with Hunter in tow!” He pointed up the ladder.
Wrecker groaned out another complaint, thinking whether or not he would take his chances with the dragon bears when one started to dig right above them. “Move!” He shoved past Tech and scrambled up the ladder one handed as quickly as he could, though a little too rough for Hunter's sake, whose head was knocked against the wall of the tree and the pain awakened him from his induced nap.
“Oi! Wrecker!” He hissed as he rubbed his head. “Careful now!”
“Ah! Good! You're awake in time to help fend off the drakears.” Tech said just behind Wrecker on the ladder.
“The what?” Hunter asked as he looked around to figure out where he was. He heard roaring right outside of wherever he was and then something that sounded like blaster fire.
“Thankfully Crosshair and Echo are making good use of their height advantage.” Tech commented. “To quickly catch you up on current events-”
“We're inside a tree hiding from the Drakears and Tore is fighting them right now.” Wrecker interrupted.
Tore? Drakears? Hunter rubbed his head again. Something felt off and he couldn't figure out what it was. Maybe it was the start of a concussion from Wrecker knocking his head against the tree.
“I was getting to that Wrecker!” Tech snapped.
“Not quick enough!” Wrecker snapped back as they reached the opening on top of the tree. Hunter scrambled onto the branch and would have fallen off if Wrecker wasn't behind him to catch him. And Wrecker groaned in discomfort. “I hate heights!”
“Look who's back from the dead.” Crosshair drolled as he took a shot at a Drakear in the mouth, causing its neck to explode. Gross.
“That was a quick power nap!” Echo helped Hunter up. “You ready to shoot up some drakears?”
“I think Wrecker hit my head harder than he intended.” Hunter began as he took out his weapon. He looked down and saw the beasts digging up the cave and sniffing their equipment and Gonky. “What happened again?” He looked around and noticed that they were down a person. His panic started back up. “Where's Omega?!”
“Looks like the supplement that Tore had you ingest not only brought your senses down to a tolerable level, but it also wiped your memory.” Tech surmised.
“That doesn't answer my question Tech!” Hunter shot back at his brother. Fire was shot up at them from a young drakear and they could feel the scalding heat from their vantage point, but the flames couldn't reach them. Yet. The flames started to consume the lower branches blocking any way for them to descend on the outside, and the wind didn't help with stopping it. Crosshair took another shot at this one's mouth, but it was closed and bounced off the beast harmlessly.
“She's safe and is coming back to us!” Echo replied as he took a shot at a Drakear that had begun to open its mouth, but not all the way so the blast deflected off. Tore had told them while they were climbing down into the cave that Omega was coming back with Nara and Infersel, and asked them not to shoot the girls if at all possible, for Infersel was carrying them back. “Our focus should be on staying alive!”
Hunter had to concede that point and saw the flames growing closer to their spot. “Plan 46!” They all nodded, with Wrecker groaning more, and fired their grappling hooks into the branches of a nearby tree and swung across while dropping smoke bombs to obscure the view of the Drakears while they made their escape. They made it safely and then moved to other branches to shoot at another tree and swung to that one. Then the third group of Drakears showed up and fired at the tree, the fames were closer to them than the first time.
“We have a Drakear about to ram the tree!” Tech cried out as they were disengaging their hooks. They took hold of a branch as the tree shook from the impact with the cracks going up the trunk, but it still stood. However, their hooks were flung out of their hands and they quickly saw that they were sitting ducks.
“We need to get out of this tree!” Crosshair yelled before Hunter could.
“I think I have a solution!” Tech called from another branch while working on his data pad. “A Drakears sense of hearing is fifteen times stronger than people, so I conclude that a high pitch frequency will irritate them to give us time to make a move to the closest branch.” After a few clicks on his data pad a noise akin to a dog whistle shot through the speakers and the drakears started to back off from the tree with growls and shaking heads. Tech looked up at Hunter and saw that he wasn't bothered by the noise and they both took another mental note of what the substance did. “It appears to be working!”
“Appears” was the key word apparently, for they were all launched from the tree as the second king from the first pack slammed into the tree. The drakears and the ground quickly approached them and they all braced for impact, only for the air to change directions and grow hot. They looked up and saw the crimson dragon right above them, who looked larger than before, with his hands holding Omega and Nara, who had her arms stretched out towards them, as a sign that she was holding them up with the Force. Omega waved down at them with a big grin on her face. Hunter suddenly remembered all that transpired before blacking out and felt his panic turn up. “Omega!” Hunter yelled over the wind.
“Infersel, roll now!” Nara shouted. She looked like she was straining to hold them all up. Still flying through the air, Infersel rolled their body until they were upside down and the batch was over them. Then Nara dropped the men onto the dragon, who removed their hands from holding the females so that Omega ran to Hunter who held her tightly. Then Nara yelled, “Keep moving until you reach a spine and hold onto it!” Infersel rolled again and the batch plus the females moved until they came to the spines and held on as Infersel dropped down onto the first group of Drakears and blasted them away with what the batch could guess was also the Force. The beasts laid stunned on the ground as Infersel landed and rolled the body of the king away to reveal Tore.
“Took you lot long enough!” Tore shouted from the ground.
Inferno lifted him up with a deep throated laugh. “Look who needs the help now?”
Tore was dropped off at Nara's side who quickly grabbed him and he looked worn out, being ripped, bloody, and burned. “Hey, I still need to have a word with you two after this! Now head back to the tree to retrieve their equipment and droid.”
Infersel turned to go back to the tree and both spoke. “If you don't die before then.” Hunter was confused. Why did he hear two voices coming out of the dragon?
“Hey, I die when I choose to die!” Tore snapped. The drakears roared and whimpered awake as Infersel rose from the ground and flew off again.
Then Echo jumped in from two spines down. “Your injuries need to be looked at if you want to disprove the dragon’s point.”
“They're mostly superficial!” Tore smiled back, only to groan in discomfort.
“That means he broke something.” Nara shook her head.
“Are you Nara?” Asked Hunter over the wind.Nara smiled pleasantly and bowed her head. “Looks like you lot have done your research.”
“You didn't hurt Omega did you?” Hunter glared up at her.Nara glared back down at him with her smile disappearing.
“Watch your tone sir!” She said sharply. “I did no such thing to the girl. If anything, she was the assailant.” Hunter looked down at Omega who looked away sheepishly and he hugged her tighter. Nara watched the men and saw their looks of approval, relief, and their posture relax a bit. Her eyes softened. Brothers indeed. “You taught her well.” Hunter looked back up at her and nodded his thanks.
They all snapped their heads back up at Infersel’s roar, which was a little higher pitched than what they were used to hearing, indicating that Russell was in charge of the body, as they all descended down to the tree. The Drakears roared back at them and some breathed out fire, only for it to be blocked by the Force. “Back up!” Russell commanded the beasts. They only moved closer. The horn on Russell’s head glowed as sparks jumped off the body and the boy repeated himself rather angrily. “I said BACK UP!” A shockwave went through the dragon's body causing everyone to slip, and the wave sped off through the forest hitting the drakears on the way. The beasts looked stunned for a moment before they slowly obeyed his command.
The batch, while regaining their holds on the spines, watched in wonder as the drakears moved away from the dragon as they drew closer to their equipment and Gonky. One king tried to take a step closer with a deep throated growl, only for Russell to send the shock wave back at him with bared teeth. The king begrudgingly moved away but didn't look like he was planning on leaving. “So this was what Hondo was talkin about?” Wrecker whistled.
“It appears so.” Hunter commented.
“Let's grab the stuff and head back to their ship.” Tore spoke between his teeth, his breathing becoming more ragged. Nara's hold around him tightened and she looked worried. He shook his head and held out his hand to the supplies as if to start picking them up, but his hand dropped as he slumped over and nearly fell off the dragon.
“Tore!” Nara yelled as she held up her friend with the Force. “Infersel, grab their equipment!”
“That we will do.” Both the boy and the dragon spoke, rather robotically. All of the batches' equipment and Gonky were lifted up into the air and they quickly flew away from the tree and back to the Havoc Marauder.
“Why are we going back to the ship?” Echo asked over the wind.
“Infersel is going to fix it!” Nara shouted back.
“How are they going to accomplish that?” Tech asked, looking dubious.
“Reverse Time.” Nara answered.

Val Ocitie
(I’ve already made an information post like this, but said post is pretty long; in fact, it’ll just get longer and more expansive as I develop new characters and stories for [The Future Mob Project]. And I’m worried that the sheer length will make readers lose interest when they click on a link to look for a specific character. So, I’ll be making separate information pages for each character while still maintaining the all-inclusive post. Got it? Good.)
Who They’re Based Off Of: Lio Tipton
Their Method of Work: Tommy guns may be rare nowadays, but that isn’t a problem for Val. Their hidden arsenal is already impressive enough; you could say they have many, many neutral specials. Sure, they can see the appeal of blades and other deadly stuff, but guns are fast, efficient, and most importantly of all, devastating. (Especially if a silencer is involved. Ooh, does that help thicken the plot.) Don’t screw around with them or their family unless you want to cosplay as swiss cheese.
Red Attire: Chainmail bracelet (Vermillion)
Notes:
Val has long since learned to thrive in chaos, to the point of outright craving it. Sometimes they see underground business as a game. While their attitude is usually excitable around those they trust, their energy can turn aggressive in a heartbeat. They’re the type to get up in an enemy’s face, wearing a false, icy grin all the while.
Along with the hit-jobs they're assigned, Val is responsible for supplying The Pentas Family's firepower. Similar to how Caliban is an expert in organ-trafficking, Val knows the ins and outs of the illegal weapons trade. They've rearranged their personal gun collection several times now, selling and exchanging certain models to avoid leaving any patterns in their work.
Once upon a time, Val worked for a different mob; one that wasn’t exactly on good terms with The Pentas Family. Well, things ended up falling apart, and Val found themself at the mercy of Murdock and his peers. Of course, things were rocky at first. . .but somehow, Val eventually realized that they felt some kind of kinship with them. It took some time, but they were welcomed in, and are now following Pentas operations with strong loyalty.
They grew up somewhat rural, learning how to handle guns at a pretty young age. Though their family wasn’t poor, hunting game animals for food was still a big tradition that they helped to carry on. They don’t really do that kind of hunting anymore, but they still take monthly trips to shooting ranges to practice with clay pigeons.
They’re the only Pentas member who doesn’t live in/work out of a building connected to the abandoned subway tunnels. Instead, they live in a tidy cabin in Reilpi Woods, a huge forest about a fifteen-minute drive from the Cove Port Inlet’s city limits. Not that Val minds, though; the area gives them nostalgia. While they can appreciate all the conveniences of more urban environments, they’ve always enjoyed being surrounded by trees. Besides, it’s not like they don’t know where all the secret entrances to the underground dens are.
They’re a natural when it comes to evaluating another person’s character. It’s an important skill to have in this line of work, especially considering how the work is question is very much illegal. Despite their uncertain start in The Pentas Family, it hasn’t taken much time at all for Val to learn each of the other members inside and out. . .well, except for The Newcomer. (For now, at least.)

[Age Swap, Reigen joins claw to get powers]
Reigen + Mob | Mob Psyho 100 Age Swap AU 16-01-2023
I had this sudden age swap idea with a claw-ish kind of plot.
Where maybe Reigen gets mad at Mob when he realises that there's not really anything Mob can do for him to awaken psychic powers (not that Mob ever actually said he would awaken anything in him).
Even more annoying is that he felt like he had been pushed to the side a little bit more lately and he doesn't like that. He can tell Mob and Ritsu have been working on something and even if he tries they won't tell him anything about it.
and of course, Mob is kind of worried about Reigen storming off and not coming to the office in the following days, but Ritsu tries to reassure him and brushes it off as just being a tantrum and that Reigen will come back once he's calmed down.
but days keep going by and Reigen isn't coming back.
And Mob can't fully try to chase him because he, Ritsu and some esper they know are trying to crack down on an organisation that tries to awaken psychic powers in people and is apparently conducting underground tests on people. Pretty painful test.
And this was the thing they had kept hidden from Reigen (Because Mob was scared Reigen would get hurt by getting himself involved or be attracted by the group's ideas).
Little do they know that Reigen still managed to get in contact with that organisation anyway.
He was trying to find other people that could help him, so he could show Mob that YES he can develop psychic powers too. And he ends up meeting AS! Touichiro tells him about that organisation (which he has entered recently himself).
And at first, Reigen is really excited, especially seeing all these espers who seem to have some progress from the test and exercise given to them by the people there.
But he quickly gets disenchanted when he realises exactly what the test for the non-esper is.
It looks extremely painful and they have to inject weird things into his body.
And maybe this claw organisation doesn't want to let him go because they can sense something in him that could end up powerful, that feels similar to that energy they feel in the city sometimes.
(but what they feel is basically Mob's leftover energy from a couple of times he was getting overwhelmed Reigen ended up being a recipient of that power).
And maybe after a painful session, Reigen is just sick of it and wants to break out of there.
And to do so he joins forces with both Touichiro and Serizawa (whom they befriended along the way) and of course the group ain't too happy about their three most promising subject trying to run away.
thankfully, this is when Mob, Ritsu and maybe Shou and Teruki hit.
the plan probably involves an gouv. agent similar to what Joseph was, who had been undercover and noticed them snooping around. The plan is basically to get the higher up arrested and set every subject free.
And maybe things go a little bit to shit, the claw people stronger than they first thought.
And they also stumble on them trying to restrain the three kids so they can be shipped to another facility.
And Reigen immediately calls out to his shisho in panic and relief (because he knows he'll be safe now that Mob is here).
This triggers Mob into losing control for a bit because Reigen is in danger and he looks hurt and tired and someone is restraining him and pushing him to the ground.
To say the facility gets mostly half wiped out wouldn't be an exaggeration.
and of course, Reigen is the one who can snap Mob back to reality now that he's finally safe and that no one will hurt him.
The organisation is obviously not fully stopped, but the gouv. agent sure seems satisfied with the people they arrested to question later.
maybe he does hint at letting the destruction and loss of control Mob had out f his report as long as the man promise to help him out if he ever had trouble in the area again.
Touichiro gets scolded by Shou for doing something like this. why would he need a place like this anyway since he's already pretty strong?
Reigen does get scolded by Ritsu, but Mob is clearly too relieved that everything ended up alright that he stops him midway.
And maybe Reigen suggests his friends can work under Mob too, especially Serizawa "Because he came to learn how to properly control his powers and I think shisho could teach him well".
happy ending yay maybe later on down the line Reigen realises that he can somewhat use the leftover powers inside of him to do things. It's likely really weak compared to everyone else, but he can take care of (very) small fries when on cases and make something move around slowly.

The Coterie
Tumblr media
The Coterie is a powerful and pervasive criminal organization within Kirkwall, involved in various illicit activities such as smuggling, extortion, and assassination. They control much of the underworld economy and have significant influence over the city's politics.
Name • The Coterie of Kirkwall Scope • Lowtown, Darktown, The Docks in Kirkwall Headquarters • Lowtown, Kirkwall. There are a series of homes with underground access to tunnels that the Coterie utilizes to slip throughout the city without notice. Leader • @Nairn, "Boss" or "Guildmaster"
Values • Secrecy: The Coterie values secrecy and discretion in their operations. Members are expected to keep their activities hidden from authorities and rival factions to avoid detection and interference.
Loyalty: Loyalty to the Coterie and its leadership is crucial. Members are expected to prioritize the organization's interests above personal gain and to support their fellow members in times of conflict or need.
Profit: The Coterie is driven by profit and financial gain. Members engage in various criminal activities such as smuggling, extortion, and theft to accumulate wealth and power within Kirkwall.
Power: Members of the Coterie seek to wield influence and control within Kirkwall's underworld. They aim to expand their territory and assert dominance over other criminal factions in the city.
Resourcefulness: Adaptability and resourcefulness are valued traits among Coterie members. They must navigate the complexities of Kirkwall's political landscape and respond effectively to challenges and threats.
Unity: Despite their individualistic and often ruthless nature, Coterie members understand the importance of unity in achieving their collective goals. They may form alliances and cooperate with other criminal elements when advantageous.
Pragmatism: The Coterie operates pragmatically, making decisions based on practicality and the potential for profit or survival. They are willing to make compromises and alliances if it serves their interests.
Violence: While not their only tool, the Coterie is not afraid to use violence and intimidation to achieve their objectives or maintain their dominance over rivals. They value strength and assertiveness in dealing with adversaries.
Independence: The Coterie prides itself on its independence from the formal authorities and institutions of Kirkwall. They operate outside the law and resist interference from Templars, the Chantry, or the city's nobility.
Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and exploit opportunities quickly is highly valued. Coterie members must be flexible in their methods and strategies to survive and thrive in the competitive environment of Kirkwall's underworld.
Goals • The Coterie's primary goal is ensuring the leadership of Kirkwall is in their favor, and that those same leadership roles do not intervene or affect their trades.
Allies • House of the Salamander (tentative alliance), Kirkwall Nobility (forced alliance) Enemies • Kirkwall Authorities (police) Rivals • Not applicable at this time.
Requirements The Coterie typically "helps people", indebting those people to the C so that they cannot leave easily. While indebted, they're trained in the ways of the Coterie, and can work their way up the ranks as they earn trust and prove their loyalty. Eventually, the intended outcome of their servitude, is that they'll not want to leave their new found family.
Joining the Coterie is as simple as writing your character's history into it, and connecting with existing Coterie characters. You can also have a character inducted into the Coterie ICly by talking with existing characters in the guild.
Members Fully fledged Coterie members can freelance outside of the Coterie, but will always put the Coterie first. Any NPC roles can be requested, except for John-Marc. John-Marc's role will be open after his plot plays out.
LEADERSHIP:
These are the topmost roles within the organization.
Boss: Nairn
Grand Magician: John-Marc (NPC)
Lieutenant: Open position; second-in-command to the Boss, responsible for executing orders, managing day-to-day operations, and acting as middle-man for dealing with other organizations.
GENERAL MEMBERS:
People on this list fill a variety of roles, and may focus on something specific over holding a role in leadership. If you don't see a role listed, but you'd like to pick up an NPC role or create a role, just send a DM to Ivy.
Head Enforcer: Danny
Spymaster: Cardell (NPC)
Treasurer: Lisbeth (NPC)
Head Fixer: Open position; this person problem-solves, negotiates, and manages relations with outside groups.
Head Recruiter: Felicia (NPC)
Executioner: Open position; this person carries out punishments and eliminates threats to the Coterie from the inside.
Teachers (multiple): Open position; because the Coterie often takes in street urchins, members with skills enough to teach these children are needed.
Safecracker & Thief: Colton Young
Fighter & Entertainer:Yoonjie
Pickpocket & Teacher: Haulean
PARTIAL MEMBERS:
These people have bought out their debt, proven themselves loyal, or otherwise been released from the Coterie but choose to stick around, even so.
Healer: Ruth Yoesif
Healer: Megara Fern
Assets
A large underground mess hall underneath Lowtown.
Hidden tunnels throughout the entirety of Kirkwall.
The guild is extremely wealthy, with an undetermined amount of gold and jewels at their disposal. Legacy Clause • If Ivy, Nairn's RPer disappears, the Coterie would fall to Bach's character Danny or Tink's character Haulean. Should neither of them want the Coterie, it would go up for grabs of an existing or newly written Coterie character to take over.

This is a list of every AU that has Bianca Moore within it.
Tumblr media
AU: Biker
AU: Omegaverse
AU: Redemption
AU: Rockstar
AU: Royal
AU: Vampire
Tumblr media
AU: Biker
AU Type: au: biker | au: canon divergent | modern biker outlaw
Steel & Shadows reimagines the world of Final Fantasy VII as a gritty, modern urban environment ruled by outlaw biker gangs instead of an industrial dystopia. The supernatural and fantasy elements are stripped away, placing the characters in a world of underground racing, illicit dealings, and city-wide corruption. Sephiroth is the enigmatic and ruthless leader of Silver Eclipse, a feared biker gang that dominates the streets. Bianca, a romance novelist fascinated by the dark allure of dangerous men, finds herself entangled in his world while researching her next book. Their relationship is a volatile mix of obsession, power, and undeniable attraction, set against the backdrop of a city that thrives on chaos and control.
AU: Omegaverse
AU Type: au: omegaverse | au: canon divergent | soulmate | Supernatural
In "Bound in Shadows," the bond between Bianca and Sephiroth transcends traditional Alpha-Omega dynamics. It is rooted in a profound soul-bond that connects their minds, bodies, and souls. This is set against the backdrop of Gaia (FF 7's world) where Alphas, Betas, and Omegas navigate complex social hierarchies. This AU reimages the characters' relationships, as it focuses on the intense emotional and spiritual connection between Bianca and Sephiroth.
AU: Redemption
AU Type: Canon-divergent AU, Fantasy, Dark
The Redemption AU diverges from the original Final Fantasy VII storyline with significant changes centered around Sephiroth and Bianca. In this universe, Bianca and Sephiroth meet as children, ages 8 and 10, respectively, and endure years of experimentation under Hojo at Shinra Manor. Bianca uses her demonic powers to block out Jenova's influence on Sephiroth, preventing the Nibelheim Incident and altering the course of events. Together, they find redemption by aiding AVALANCHE and working against Shinra while trying to balance their dark pasts and Sephiroth’s fragile grip on sanity.
AU: Rockstar
AU Type: modern music | romance
Set in a modern world where music is a universal language that binds souls together, Strings of Destiny follows the lives of Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis, who form a globally renowned pop-rock band called LOVELESS. Bianca, a smoky-voiced lounge singer with a mysterious allure, performs in intimate jazz bars, unaware that her soulmate—Sephiroth—is a rising musical icon. The story explores their journey of discovery, destiny, and the red string of fate that connects them despite their vastly different worlds. Themes of love, music as a healing force, and the inevitability of destiny are woven throughout.
AU: Royal
AU Type: historical romance | fantasy | political intrigue | canon divergent
The Royal AU is set against the vibrant, treacherous backdrop of an Italian Renaissance-inspired kingdom, noblewoman Bianca and her loyal knight protector, Sephiroth, navigate the intricate dance of forbidden love and duty. The world of opulent courts, gilded halls, and masked balls masks an undercurrent of dangerous political intrigue where family honor, loyalty, and secrets dictate every move. Sephiroth and Bianca are bound by duty yet yearn for freedom. They must keep their love hidden to avoid social ruin and fend off plots that could destroy them both.
AU: Vampire
AU Type: gothic fantasy | au: canon divergent
In this Gothic reimagining of Final Fantasy 7, humanity exists in a dark, supernatural world where vampires and other night-dwellers roam, hunted by elite SOLDIER vampire hunters under Shinra’s command. Sephiroth, a distinguished and cold hunter, faces an unexpected bond with Bianca, a vampire created through dark experiments involving his own DNA. Bound by a red string of fate, they are both drawn to and repelled by each other, with their connection complicated by a son born through these experiments. As Hojo manipulates events from the shadows, Sephiroth's loyalty to his duty, his human wife, and his hidden connection to Bianca clash.

Prompt: there exist a city where each year the population votes for the weather that will dominate the next year. This year a conspiracy is afoot to replace the legitimate results for ones that would favor fog. Why would that be? Create a movie concept around this.
Fog and Mirrors
Tagline: He won't let them go sight unseen
Logline: In a city where the weather is determined by annual popular vote, a conspiracy unfolds as evidence mounts that the current year's winning weather, fog, is not a natural occurrence but a sinister plot to conceal a hidden agenda.
Setting:
The city of Aerilon is a metropolis where the annual weather is decided by popular vote. Citizens cast their ballots for their preferred climate, and the winning weather pattern is implemented for the entire year. However, this year, an unusual fog has descended upon the city, far denser and more persistent than any fog previously experienced.
Characters:
Elias Carter: A seasoned meteorologist turned conspiracy theorist, convinced that the fog is not a natural phenomenon.
Ava Ramirez: A young, ambitious journalist determined to uncover the truth behind the mysterious fog.
Mayor Silas Thorne: A charismatic politician, publicly blamed for the unusual weather conditions but secretly involved in a larger conspiracy.
The Fog Entities: Mysterious, shadowy figures who control the weather manipulation technology.
Plot:
Elias Carter, a once-respected meteorologist, is now a recluse, labeled a conspiracy theorist for his claims about the unnatural fog. He believes the fog is a cover for something sinister. Ava Ramirez, a young, ambitious journalist, intrigued by Carter's theories, begins investigating.
As they delve deeper, they uncover a secret organization manipulating the weather for nefarious purposes. The fog is not just a weather anomaly but a technological construct, designed to obscure something hidden beneath the city. The organization, led by Mayor Thorne, is using the fog to conceal a massive underground operation, possibly mining a rare resource or developing a dangerous technology.
The duo faces numerous obstacles, including threats, surveillance, and attempts to discredit them. They must race against time to expose the truth before the fog becomes permanent and the city is irrevocably changed.
Themes:
The abuse of power and control over nature
The importance of critical thinking and challenging the status quo
The power of investigative journalism to uncover the truth
Potential Twists:
The fog might have unintended consequences, like causing strange mutations in plants and animals.
A love interest could be introduced, adding a romantic subplot while also providing another perspective on the situation.
The ultimate goal of the conspiracy could be even more sinister than resource extraction, perhaps involving mind control or weather weaponization.
The film could end with the defeat of the conspiracy, the restoration of normal weather patterns, and the exposure of the mayor's crimes. However, a more open-ended conclusion could suggest that while the immediate threat is neutralized, the potential for future manipulation of weather remains, leaving the audience with a sense of unease and anticipation for a possible sequel.

Yes, it's true! The Thin-blood fluff and alchemy stuff did give me the good brain chemicals. The core book set up Thin-bloods as the new new, hinting at Duskborn mini-sects and gangs - all underground and just out of sight of Camarilla eyes.
But then... nothing. No examples, no Duskborn centered plots. Sure, the ashefinders became a thing. But that's an every Kindred 'problem'. Ashe uses dead vamps. Now the Sheriff is involved.
But with Blood Sigils we get some actual duskborn 'only' plots and intrigue. Kettle battles being the main one.
Alchemy vs. Alchemy! There can be only one victor!
Ready. Set. Brew!
That's fun and a great way to introduce the various thin-blood mini-sects and organizations in your city. Like the ones Blood Sigils talks about. Of course duskies are still using old forum internet to share formulas! It's perfect. And I love that they give you 3 (potentially 4) schools of thought on how alchemy and the thin-blood condition is experienced *within* duskborn communities.
You got your academic minded group, two different hacker punk groups and... the philosopher stone trans-humanism cult hidden in the background.
It's good shit. I love Thinbloods and I wish more STs and players utilized them more.
But I might be biased lol
Have you picked up and read the recent WoD 5th edition books, like blood strained love? How is this edition stacking up as they slowly add more splats? Are there any future releases you're interested in? Are there more things you'd like to see from WoD 5e that they don't have right now? Personally I feel like the concept of the loresheets was fun and interesting, but the application has been really uneven and disappointing. I'd want more clan specific sheets for some of the clans that haven't gotten as much love (like I believe there is only 1 Lasombra specific loresheet and nothing for the Tzimisce?) I'd also love to see more By Night books, especially examining places outside of the USA
I've been picking up most of the Renegade books, yes! I like V5, despite its rough start, and Renegade have chosen a middle path between the density of OPP and the aesthetic of the old ParaWW team. They're very game focused books, which I appreciate, not being an enthusiast of "lore for lore's sake" (even typing the word makes my stomach turn over).
It's nice to have a turn away from splatbooks and into transformative supplements. IF you want a dark romantic story, THEN add Blood Stained Love. IF you want overt sectarian conflict in an action thriller, THEN add Gehenna War. It's more useful as an approach than piling more into the core.
I do think they're less substantial than they could be. Blood Stained Love didn't do enough groundwork on establishing the legitimacy of romance stories and, as a result, a lot of the groggier players I know dismissed it as "not for a serious chronicle." Blood Sigils felt like a breathless gush, a glut of new powers with a context sort of folded around it. I know @friends-of-beetlejuice is way more into Alchemy than I am and found a lot of the new background on that very brain chewy, and I took more of an interest when the koldun bug got to me. They feel like what they are: optional extras for people who want more or one specific thing, not must haves to complete the One True "Canon" World of Darkness (there it goes again, bad tum! bad!)
I'm quite interested in Gehenna War, that's a chance to revisit the 1990s vibe. I'm not as interested in Crimson Gutter for myself, but I think it's exactly what the game needs right now: premade, metaplot light material to get new players and STs up and running.
As for future releases, someone badly needs to give the Tzimisce the same treatment the Hecata got: collate the ideas, work them over, rationalise the concept and build some out into Loresheets. Vicissitude is too long and fussy as a power, it needs tearing down and a lighter touch taking. A European City By Night book with a long Tzimisce chapter or two would be perfect as a vehicle for that. I'd rather see Onyx Path do it – I've ragged on Dawkins as a developer, but this is the kind of thing he was born to do, and the substance-over-style approach is what's needed here.
Generally I don't rate the By Nights – too many of them are metaplot vectors that don't care to make space for play – but the slower, colder, older, conflicts of the settled and less gun-happy European Kindred need a showcase, and another Chicago-tier book would do it.

Secret Identities - Part 2 (Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley x reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: The Avengers, your team of superheroes, has been called in to handle an invasion in New York, and you’re bringing your superhero boyfriend, Moon Knight, with you.
Part 2 to Secret Identities.
Action/adventure, Cameo-fest
Pairings: Marc Spector x reader, Steven Grant x reader, Jake Lockley x reader
Warnings and A/N: I did my best to accurately represent DID, I put very little effort into creating a plot and a lot of effort into writing dialogue
--
It was only you, Marc, and the agent - whose name you had never learned and didn’t care to learn - on the quinjet. You held Marc’s hand the entire time. There was no denying the anxious fluttering in your stomach as your two lives continued converging. Each second brought Marc closer to the Avengers, and you’d be lying if you said that didn’t scare the shit out of you.
You read through the briefing notes, getting occasional comments from the agent now piloting the quinjet. Rogue artificial intelligence, not Ultron level, but dangerous nonetheless. SWORD suspected some alien involvement, but that wasn’t the concern right now. The immediate issue was an army of robots hidden underground waiting to be activated.
At some point you started to fall asleep against Marc’s shoulder. He gingerly shifted you into a laying position resting your head on his thigh in a familiar comfortable position. His hand settles in your hair and strokes the curves of your face, soothing you into sleep. You hardly sleep for an hour before Marc shakes you awake.
“Something’s happening.”
“We need to drop you in,” the agent called back. “The activation happened earlier than our intelligence suggested. Most of the team is already on the ground. Everyone else is on their way. Don’t forget your comm links.”
You sit up and rifle through your bag, pulling out a familiar costume and stripping off your clothes. Marc blinks at you a few times like he’s surprised at your lack of modesty. He knows you well enough that he really shouldn’t be.
“We can’t all summon our suits,” you tease and toss him an ear piece, even as his eyes begin to glow with white moonlight.
“Tell her she looks amazing!” Steven gushes.
“Keep it in your pants,” Jake snaps back.
You reach for a parachute, but Marc’s white gloved hand stops you.
“I can fly you in,” he offers through the mask.
“You told me no flying last month!” You protest.
“I didn’t know you were an Avenger last month.”
“Bad call, mate.”
“Oh, so you thought I was fragile before?” You tease, not really mad at the man.
His mask peels away so he can tilt his head and shoot you an amused glare.
“You’re in range!” The agent calls back.
You turn and plant a kiss on Marc’s lips, then punch a button. The door opens slowly with a cold rush of air. You wrap your arms around his strong body, take a deep breath, and together you jump from the plane into free fall. His cape catches like a parachute part way down, guiding you through the clouds lower and lower until the skyline is in view.
Smoke rises from burning buildings, the wreckage of a city that has again become a battle ground.
“Shit,” Marc whispers. “We’re gonna have to stop having technology free dates.”
“Yeah,” you reply, only half paying attention, too busy scanning the ground for your fellow Avengers. It’s pure chaos on the ground, a complete and utter disaster, but then, through the smoke… “There!”
You point Marc in the direction of a bright flash of blue and white, and he angles you toward the ground. The comm link in your ear begins to crackle and finally beeps a connection. You were right.
“-end up here? We’re supposed to be on vacation!” The voice of Bucky Barnes fills your ear at the same moment the bright red, white, and blue wings of Sam Wilson reappear. “Sam, what the fuck is in the sky?”
That would be Marc.
“Good morning, Captain America,” you smile down at the small figures of your friends on the ground.
“Oh thank god,” Sam replies. “Buck and I are a-” he grunts, “A bit outnumbered. We have to hold this street, or it will interfere with the wizards’ spell.”
You’re streaking toward the fight below, finally able to see the action for real. They are more than a bit outnumbered, the two men surrounded by humanoid robots armed to the teeth with every bit of weapons technology available. You drop to the ground at Bucky’s side, Marc landing next to you.
“You’re late,” Bucky calls. “Who’s the mummy?”
Marc shoots him a glare.
“Marc, don’t glare at Bucky Barnes! That’s-”
“I know who Bucky Barnes is Steven,” he answers silently.
Yeah, he knew Bucky Barnes. Well, Steven knew. At some point in their childhood, Steven realized he shared part of a name with Steven Grant Rogers and harbored a small fascination with the former Captain America ever since.
“That’s Moon Knight!” Sam’s wing decapitates a robot as he turns to look Marc up and down. “Read your briefing packets, Buck.”
Bucky rolls his eyes and returns to the fight. You draw two long knives, gifts from King T’Challa, and make short work of any robot that approaches. Marc hurls crescent darts, each finding their target. But he doesn’t let Steven front. Not yet at least.
Occasionally, he glances back at you, checking to make sure you’re alright. You are doing the same to him. You have never fought at his side before, but already you know that you would do it again and again.
“The sorcerers - not wizards, Sam - are working some spell in that building,” Bucky gestures vaguely behind him. “They can shut the whole AI down, but we have to keep these things out.”
“Androids!” Sam shouts as he jumps over one and buries his shield in it’s neck. “Androids controlled by aliens who can be stopped by wizards. The big three!”
“The big three?” Marc turns to Captain America.
“Don’t ask!” You and Bucky shout at the same time.
The four of you stand no chance of holding this street. Of course this couldn’t be a time-efficient spell, and the robots just keep coming, an endless supply of mindless soldiers puppeteered by some unknown force. A piece of shrapnel slashes your face, distracting you from the fight for a split second. It’s enough for a blow to land at your midsection, knocking the breath from you.
You pull the gun from your waist, SWORD issue with some advanced technology you don’t care to understand, and shoot. It’s not your preferred weapon, but it is necessary. Marc is by your side in an instant. He grabs you around the waist and wraps you in the white fabric of his cape.
It’s just the two of you in this little cocoon. The rest of the world is forgotten as his mask falls away for a moment. The expression on his face is pure horror, lips pressed in a tight line, eyes murderous. His gaze is focused on the blood dripping down your cheek.
“I’m fine,” you insist and run your fingers across his nose and brow that is furrowed deeply, trying to soothe away those worry lines.
“I need Jake,” he breathes, a confession he rarely makes. “We need Jake.”
Jake will do anything to protect Marc and Steven and anything to protect you. It’s probably why you had never actually seen Jake suited up for a fight. He is the ‘whatever it takes’ part of the system, and all three of them are still afraid to show you that side.
“Okay,” you grip his upper arms. “It’s okay.”
His eyes flicker for a second, then his suit shifts, darkens to a midnight black that is more like tactical armor than Marc’s mummy wrappings. A bright white crescent moon shines on his chest; it matches the bright white of his cape. He tilts his head with a little smirk, and just like that Jake Lockley has joined the fray.
“Cap? Cap?” Someone is shouting through coms. “We’re coming to you. Do you copy?”
The voice is crackly, so you can’t make out exactly who it is.
You turn back to the fight, watching with bit of admiration and a lot of attraction as Jake expertly dispatches android after android.
“Did he change outfits mid fight?” Bucky punches a robot beside you.
“Sort of.”
You kick a robot across the head, stabbing one of your vibranium knives into it’s chest and immediately lashing out toward another. You glance up, and the world seems to slow around you. The battle is forgotten as you can only stare at Jake. He is fighting desperately, holding his own except...
Except behind him. A metallic arm is raising a heavy blade for a killing blow, metal arching toward his neck. You’re trying to scream his name. You are screaming his name, but it’s too late. You stab the android in front of you, but you will never make it. Jake’s suit will protect him from a lot, heal just about anything, but not decapitation.
Red flashes across your view, a bright flash hurtling through the air. A stick strikes the robot through the forehead, and the metal being collapses in a dead heap. Jake whips his head around as he realizes what almost happened. A figure in dark red drops from a nearby fire escape, grabs the stick from the robots sparking brain, and nods to you. He jumps into the fight at Jake’s side, the two men working together with an impressive synchrony for two strangers.
“How did you see that?” Jake shouts.
“I heard it,” Matt Murdock replies as he dispatches another android.
A few more minutes and the fighting finally stops. Another wave of robots is undoubtedly assembling nearby, but for now the team has a moment to breathe.
Jake’s mask falls away as he studies Daredevil. His eyes linger on the upper half of Matt’s face, noticing how his eyes are completely obscured by the dark red of his mask. You sprint to Jake’s side, wanting to reach for his hand, hold him, kiss him, feel that he is alive, but you restrain yourself. Your relationship is a secret, and for now you want to keep it that way.
“So this is the boyfriend?” Matt asks.
Your relationship is not a secret.
“How-” you start to question how Matt could possibly know that you had a boyfriend, let alone that this was him.
“You started smelling different a few months ago,” he explains. “It’s him. His scent is all over you.”
“Is there a better way to say that then ‘his scent is all over you’? Tone down the creepy… vibes? Vibes? Is that the word?”
“Give up on the modern slang, Buck,” Sam makes a face and pats his partners’ shoulder mockingly.
You plant a kiss to Jake’s cheek, and he brushes his hand across your fingers to tell you that he is okay. You watch him and Daredevil with interest, hoping Jake might find a friend in the hero who protected his city with the same ferocity and passion as Jake protected Steven, Marc, and you.
“What’s up with the little horns, el diablo?” Jake asks. “What are you the hero of? Hell?”
“Hell’s Kitchen, and it’s Daredevil actually.”
Jake shoots you a glance then shifts his gaze back to Matt. A smile fills his features, a genuine one, and a second later the same expression appears on Matt’s face. You let out a heavy sigh of relief as they slip into easy conversation and you turn back to Sam and Bucky.
“You and Moon Knight, huh?” Sam frowns. “Guess Spidey was right.”
As if summoned by his name, the mysterious masked hero drops from the sky.
“Hey you guys! There’s another group heading our way.”
He starts to turn to Cap, notices Jake and does a double take to stare at the white costumed man, everyone else forgotten. Jake looks at him completely unimpressed.
“Oh my god, you’re Moon Knight!” Spider-Man’s voice has a youthfulness that always surprises you. “I love you! I wanted a cape because of you, but I gave up the idea pretty quick. I mean not in New York right? Handsy people. It would never have lasted. Wow! Mr. Knight, you are so cool.”
“Mr. Knight,” Steven tries out the name “I like that.”
“I hate it,” Marc replies.
“Well that seems like your problem don’t it? I’m keeping it. You can be Moon Knight. I’ll be Mr. Knight.”
“Marc, right?” Spidey asks, and you can practically see the mischief forming in the boys’ mind at his well-meaning mistake.
“I’m Jake.”
“Sorry! Jake-”
Jake’s expression changes, the suit shifting with him.
“Oops, Steven now,” Steven grins.
“O-Okay, Steven,” Spider-Man tries to keep up.
The suit changes as Marc fronts.
“Marc again,” he teases, messing with the young hero.
“Oh,” that catches Spidey off guard. “Nice to meet you, Marc.”
“Actually, Jake now.”
“Leave him alone, you three,” you glower at Jake but have to fight back a laugh.
You thanked any god you could think of that Spider-Man had been there with his goofy remarks and joking attitude to make it easier for Marc, Steven, and Jake to show off this particular skill set.
“Sorry, love.”
That’s Steven.
He adjusts his white suit jacket and grins at Spider-Man, ““You know, the cape is actually really overrated, kid.”
“I’m Spider-Man,” he lowers his voice and puts extra emphasis on the ‘man.’
“More like Spider-Kid,” Jake mutters.
Steven ignores his alter and nods conspiratorially to Spider-Man. He gives him a thumbs up like they just shared a secret.
“Figure out how to really punch criminals yet?” Daredevil snarks, tossing an arm across Spider-Man’s shoulders affectionately.
“I’m not beating the shit out of people,” he protests.
“It’s more efficient.”
“Whatever you say ‘really good lawyer.’”
You observe their interaction with some interest. Had Matt defended whoever was in the Spider-Man suit? No time for that now though, you realize as a mechanical whirring fills the air. You take a defensive stance at Steven’s side, Bucky to your right. Cap and Spidey leap into the air. Matt stands beside Steven.
Sam looks down at his makeshift team then out at the approaching mechanical army. They’re not much, but they’ll do.
“Avengers…”

A/N: I left this open for a part 3. Not sure if I’ll write it, but I do think a 3rd part to wrap it all up and let the system meet some other Avengers would be fun! Let me know if you want added to my general Moon Knight tag list!

Note
c and i for any of your guys!
banger ask. I'm going to do this for All of my guys
C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?
Tumblr media
Gingull: Both yes and no. "Yes" in that she's the main character, or at least, the story would be from her point of view and revolve around her. "No" in that I've been struggling to pinpoint exactly how her personality is and how she interacts with everyone else. I want to make relationship dynamics interesting. Maybe I'll make a chart.
Tumblr media
Alfin: He's very much a designated "support character" in that he's Gingull's sibling and is the closest to her, but other than that I feel like he doesn't have too much of an active role other than being a presence and a part of Gingull's world. I'll have to workshop him a little more because admittedly he's the character that I'm least invested in.
Tumblr media
King: As a parental figure for Gingull, how he plays off on her is pretty important on understanding her decisions and general worldview and etc. I think she has an overall positive relationship with him, which is a little different than my personal experience, so I'd like to explore how to make this more complex and how King influences her arc. He's in the same boat as Alfin where he individually probably won't drive the story forward but is an integral part to Gingull.
Tumblr media
Moberry: This is where things get more interesting, Moberry possibly plays one of the most active roles in the "plot" of slug city in that their dynamic with the city's leader, Maika, affects nearly every other character on various ways. I'm particularly really into the results of these interpersonal interactions and dynamics having consequences. I love The Consequences. Maika is a character that doesn't appear much physically in the context of the story and the city in-universe, so Moberry serves as the bridge between him and the "outer world" through their personal experience with him. They also serve as the leader of the hidden underground, so there's a parallel going on between them and Maika.
Tumblr media
Smooks: I love smooks so much. Easily one of my favorite characters and designs. Her role in the story is less "plot related" and more "worldbuilding and imagery" related, if that makes sense? The main tower, many buildings, and the vehicles are all mainly designed by her, so I want to play around with the implications from that. Is transportation useful and convenient, or is it disabling? Was this from Maika's influence? Her own internal concepts? Much to think about. She plays an interesting role in the background for sure and I think would be a fun adult figure for Gingull to look up to.
Tumblr media
Dr. Walworth: Her current role is "character who worked closely with Moberry and also has guilt about her involvement with Maika" and is also a therapist for Delta. There's some implications with her role that I feel like I need to flesh out more, for example, if therapy isn't a "licensed practice" due to the nature of the city's organization being so aggressively anti-mental health, is it hidden? Does she make her services known to the general public? There's a lot of questions I have to jump off from there, including the fact that she herself is autistic and therefore was unknowingly contributing to the detriment of citizens like her. Like Moberry, she's actively trying to make up for the damage done, and I like exploring that sort of character arc.
Tumblr media
Delta: She's probably my favorite character to think about. Initially, she was the "soldier with ptsd" archetype that I kind of wanted to stray from and develop more, and then eventually brought in the idea that she was responsible for bringing Gingull in to their machines, and then turning around and rescuing her when the machine malfunctions. As far as Gingull is concerned, Delta is part of an oppressive and violent force and wants nothing to do with her, the flip side is that Delta has been seeking an Out from the military and feeling increasingly trapped by it, and the machine malfunctioning was her breaking point for her to actively rebel. Gingull doesn't know any of this, and even when she does, there's no forgiveness involved with it. I'm like. so interested in her arc in that she is both a victim and perpetrator in her system. the tension of it. it's so juicy to me. There's so much that I want to think about for Delta. Any other character, if put into her position, might have done the same, or at least understood why she kept under wraps for so long. What are you supposed to do when you feel like you have no choice in what you can do, no impact on the circumstances, and knowing that what you are doing is ultimately wrong?
Tumblr media
Oster and Co: Oster and his alters are very much side characters, similar to how Alfin in there to give Gingull relationships. Oster is there to flesh out the underground city community on Moberry, Dr. Walworth, and Smook's side. He's also there to be a friend to Gingull, someone who is a little older but still a kid, so there's solidarity there and also as an example/contrast for living with some kind of accommodation. Alka, Kaola, and Teris (alters) I'm not entirely sure how they fit in, but at the very least they're going to switch fairly nonchalantly. I'm wanting him to have a more major(?) role in the story but I haven't thought about this character in depth enough for that.
Tumblr media
Eidwinn: He's pretty much stayed the same as I was thinking about his role initially; someone who isn't connected to any of the other characters personally except for Gingull, and the brief moments that they share end up having a profound impact on both of them. I talked about this a little more in the previous ask, but I'm really attached to Eidwinn, so I don't mind that his role in the story is fairly small. Something about the contrast between Eidwinn and Gingull (young and old, someone who still has their life ahead of them vs someone who's lived through much) works so well with how they are fundamentally very similar people and were both impacted by Maika's project. I love having parallels.
Tumblr media
Maika: Very obviously the Main Antagonist, responsible for everything that's I've talked about regarding the previous characters. Originally, I had him as a more flamboyant, appealing villain character, and stepped down from that because it really didn't seems to fit in with his goals and role as the city's leader and opted for a more serious, cold, cutthroat character. The thing to understand about Maika and that I want to come across is that his desire to do good for the citizens is guided by a misunderstanding of what people actually need, going off of his own idea of what's best, and what was once a genuine effort to make a great city was overtaken by his curiosity about like. Conditions. and what he could do to fix them. I'm wanting to dig a little more into his motivations and in the context of slug city's world as a whole, culturally. I might have typed this out in a different post or just forgot but I want to think about if his mindset is a product of other dominant schools of thought in slug city society, or if there was any particular event that set off this obsession and whatnot. I'm wanting to steer clear from "this guy is completely irredeemable" or imply that he's intrinsically "evil", not to deny that he fucking sucks and that his actions have consequences on Everybody. I think the dynamic between him and Gingull is interesting, in that to him, Gingull is fairly unremarkable and he isn't aware of her until much later when she ends up breaking into the tower and seeing him in person. To Gingull, it's extremely personal, he's the man who built up(or at the very least, enforced) the system that she's suffered under.
I) Do you prefer to keep them in their canon universe?
Yes, but also I drew them as splatoons just for funsies
I have a tendency to just draw existing characters as species or crossover from other media, so there's like a nonzero chance that I'll draw the cast as Something sometime down the line. It's definitely not going to be any fully fledged AU that I think hard about conceptually (who knows. I might be lying. I'll never know)
