So, in previous posts, I mentioned that Marco and Thatch found a baby in a storm… but don't get me wrong, they're stupid enough to adopt a kid off the streets accidentally.

Obviously, in the new world and on the grand line, there are some not-so-great families/ pirates, so I don't think it's out of the question if a female crew member gets pregnant on a ship for them to, perhaps, dump their unwanted child on a random island and expect them to die or smth

And if the island had a town, then they’d most likely be living on the streets since it’s just another mouth to feed, and no one wants to put a strain on their already delicately crafted lives

But moving on from the sad stuff

Imagine if a toddler reader, just hungry and wanting some clothes for the winter, notices a new ship in the port and tries to steal some food and clothes

And, of course, a lil bby can't really steal too well, either falling into a barrel or easily getting caught by the crew…

I headcanon Ace as being the previously youngest crew member… so when i tell you he was SO happy someone else was now the ‘baby’ of the family it's insane

But even if he’s a little mean at times he’ll absolutely adore a younger sibling.

but on a little angstier note, that doesn't mean that Ace warmed up to you in the beginning

you were found by the crew shortly after ace was forced joined, and he was still in his lil emo era of hating everything and everyone

So while you were blossoming with all the love and affection your new family was giving you, Ace refused to see you, or any other whitebeard pirates, as his family.

you were probably one of the only reasons why Ace warmed up to the whitebeard pirates, and became so fiercely loyal to them to begin with though

but it was a slow process, and you probably got hurt a bit trying to befriend ace (kinda like luffy in the beginning((i may make a fic of this)))

but once he did warm up to you, and accepted his role as white beard pirate, oh boy!!!!!

will absolutely take care of you and try to mend any damage he did while he was pushing you away, big warm cuddle pile with lots of soft apologize and pinky promises will always be the antidote

also, i dont really need to mention this but ace is warm!! so if reader is still a baby baby, then alot of times when ace was available he’d be incharge of calming you down, since his hold was basically like a big warm blanket that would put you right to sleep

Adressing the huntlow hate as a huntlow shipper and supporter : a thread

I shipped huntlow as of september last year and i fell in love with the similarities between them. I wasnt too sure wether the ship was possible until ASIAS came out.

Before then, huntmeria/goldric was (and still is) the most popular hunter ship. I really dont like the ship but since so many people like it i tried to avoid it with respect to the many who adore this ship

When "Any sport in a storm" was released i went BESERK!! Everything i wished for was coming true and even after labrynth runners released and evidence of huntlow being endgame i still saw quite a bit of hate that needs to be adressed to some.

The huntlow tag is getting filled with comments on how people dont like the ship. If you dont like it its fine but why DO YOU HAVE TO DO IT IN THE #HUNTLOW TAG?! Ik if the word is mentioned is will appear in the twitter tag but half of the tag is just NEGATIVE COMMENTS

Its annoying because LITERALLY NO ONE, even people who dont ship hunter with anyone or people who prefer huntlow rarely say anything bad about goldric/huntmeria but all of a sudden people try to find excuses to diss a harmless ship (huntlow)

The age gap excuse is used so many times its getting old. Willow is canoncally 15 now (If you didnt see in labrynth runners in gus's room with the photo of her blowing out a candle. Since she was confirmed to be 14 in the first season)

But what some people dont understand is alot of huntlow fans dont really CARE if they dont date by the series conclusion or even if its implied by the series but we will take ANY crumb we can get, its just fan behaviour, we've all been there.

We just need to respect all ships as it is and try to keep certain opinions out of the tags, except the "problematic" ships. As a huntlow shipper, i may not like huntmeria/goldric but i respect the people who ship them. I dont go spreading hate in comments like some fans.

I believe there needs to be a mutual agreement. We need to try and respect huntlow shippers the way we respect people who ship hunter with the twins. This fandom by far is one of the most non-toxic fandom ive ever been in and i love everything about it so can we keep it this way pls?

Hopfully we can finally reach common ground and let the huntlow defenders,enjoyers and supporters have as much fun as the huntmeria/goldric shippers

* i loved how the other children, other than claire & olive, got bigger roles in this book.

* fiona’s power is UNMATCHED in this book, and then we have hugh standing to the side saying, “you could have been killed, darling.”

* say what you want, but noor bothers the life out of me. i was talking to another mphfpc fan on instagram and we both agreed noor reads like a bad OC or Y/N from a Wattpad fanfiction...she just drives me insane.

* as one of the last standing members of shipping jacob x emma , i have been listening to “harvest moon” & “my my, hey hey” by neil young since i finished reading. one of my favorite scenes is the two of them talking when they’re in the box together...i’m sorry i just hate jacob x noor....

* i was kind of let down by the emancipators tbh...i felt like noor shouldn’t have been one in the first place let alone more kids with similar peculiarities to her and they died almost as fast as V!

* the emancipators should have been actual powerful peculiars like miss. p, jacob, and ransom mentioned how powerful sharon is, so he could have been one too! there, three powerful emancipators!

* sharon and his pet rat percy are actual icons. that’s it.

* the WW1 battlefield scenes almost made me more stressed than the final battle with caul omg.

* speaking of the final battle, i wished myron & miss.p got to work together! i would have just taken a small conversation, or maybe them flipping off caul in unison.

* i actually met a wight i liked. wow. horatio literally saved them all.

* we! got! to! see! more! powerful! ymbrynes! even one that’s a “freelance ymbryne” that doesn’t have wards!

* jacob’s goodbye to his parents...when franklin said, “goodbye dad” it was like he was loosing his son along with his father all over again i’m crying again.

* chapter 9 was one of the most confusing, roller coaster of experiences in any mphfpc chapter ever.

Bedivere x Arturia - Ship it

What made you ship it?

TBH I was one of those few people who shipped it based on that like 2 second scene at the end of FSN. The Camelot Singularity just reinforced it. A lot came from the original Arthurian legend as well. Bedivere is similarly insanely loyal as he is in the game, and like in Fate lore, he’s been with Arthur longer than most.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

He journeyed so far for so long just to see her smile OH MY GOD BRB IM SOBBING HOLY CRAP CAN YOU JUST IMAGINE—

I’m a sucker for intensely loyal knights and I will always be. ALWAYS.

THE ANGST POTENTIALLLLLL but also THE FLUFF POTENTIALLLL

This man loved his king so bloody intensely. So strongly that his desire to see her survived the test of time. To be loved so much, so unconditionally for a thousand and a half years? Gods, that’s just too much, man. ;-;

And I absolutely adore how much it means to him to remain her knight, even if he tends to be insecure about the limb that he lacks, and how he believes he is nothing special in comparison with everyone else. I love that Arturia recognizes his strength and his worth, even if he himself can’t see it.

Irisviel x Arturia - Ship It

What made you ship it?

I think I was bound to the moment I watched Fate Zero. When I was younger it was overshadowed by the feels Diarturia brought and not to mention Kiritsugu and Iri but this ship is damn good on its own.

What sold it though, is the argument she and Kiritsugu have in Episode 16, right after the last Saber and Lancer fight. Irisviel, who we all know loves her husband so much, forced Kiritsugu to answer Saber. That’s just how important Arturia was to her.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I think they both found in each other something they themselves lack. It’s actually kind of funny. Arturia is human, and yet she’s so heavily consumed by her ideals that she doesn’t act like one. Irisviel, on the other hand, is not human, and yet everything that she does and wants to do is exactly that.

Throughout the anime, Being with Iri puts Saber into such mundane, ordinary situations that it teaches her to live. The suits, the escorting, being a passenger instead of a driver, appreciating the water by the seashore, etc. It's like the woman wants to leave her with some appreciation for the world, especially when she herself doesn’t have all that much time left.

On Irisviel’s part, I think she found in Saber the companionship she would have wanted from Kiritsugu during the last few days she remained on the Earth. Arturia had been the perfect knight in shining armor, taking Irisviel around to see the world as much as they could amidst a war. If they’d just had more time, I have no doubt Arturia would have taken Irisviel even more places, you know?

It makes me sad :( but in a good way.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I’m pretty sure Irisviel would wear the pants in this relationship ya know what I mean? Hahaha

Much as I love this ship, I think that it becomes all the more valuable because of how it ended. To each other, they were this brief, fleeting feeling of happiness. A love that was so short and yet so strong.

Shirou x Arturia - Don't Ship it

Hooooooo boi. Hear me out, mkay ? But this is just my personal opinion so pls no hate

Why don't you ship it?

I’m gonna start out by saying I don’t think I need to, tbh. Hahaha there’s enough content for this ship being fed to us, so my liking it or not is immaterial. But the reason is well...I watched FSN and Shirou x Saber was...not the best thing about it (the best thing about it was the soundtrack omg iconic) Shirou comes off as a bit of a misogynist, and kind of immature, and the whole time it’s like he doesn’t really listen to Arturia at all. Plus, it’s kind of like he just likes her looks at times. The final deciding factor was the date scene. That was just unbearable.

But then I go online and I see all this good stuff about them. And my friend ships them cause they’re canon, right? So, I’m like okay, what if I judged too quickly, let’s play the VN...and I did. And I still didn’t like him with Saber at all. So, I played the next route, watched the next anime, trying to redeem 1st route Shirou as much as I could but it just....didn’t happen. I think I can safely say I tried to like them. I really did. But no.

What would have made you like it?

Removing the misogyny and the immaturity and letting him listen to her. Like he should have.

At no point in their interactions did it feel like they were standing on equal ground, ever. Either he was speaking over her or the opposite. So less of that and a lot more respect.

And when you compare this relationship to what he has with like with his other two love interests, it makes this ship fall completely flat. It’s pretty...bland and honestly kind of shallow. It’s like the story just tells you they’re in love but there’s no answer to why they’re in love. Make him fall in love with her for her without necessarily forcing his need to save everyone on her.

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

I may not like how they got there, but in the end Arturia was able to pass peacefully.

I acknowledge that Shirou was important and made a change in her life.

That ending scene where they meet after so long, NGL is pretty sweet.

A lot of my headcanons happen post-Shirou, so there’s also that.

Archer x Rin -Ship it

What made you ship it?

Tsundere x Cynic has gotta be one of the best dynamics out there.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

His true identity. The fact that she dragged him all the way across space and time to return as her Servant, that’s just bloody fate at work.

The fact that he keeps acknowledging she’s a strong Master despite his later conduct in UBW.

Archer is ridiculously crass and Rin is easily riled up. In the Fifth Holy Grail War, they had the best Master-Servant relationship period. They have this explosive chemistry that just works so well.

When he smiles at her at the end of the route, and you just know that Tohsaka’s gonna be stubborn enough to make sure Shirou doesn’t end up going down the exact same path.

I think it’s sweet that he ends up going along with her whims because he secretly likes housework.

THE PRINCESS CARRY/ CATCH. MAN OH MAN.

Unlike the previous ship mentioned here, these two actually stand on equal ground with each other.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I don't think it's exactly an unpopular opinion, but I think they really ought to have more official content y'know? Rin is important in every route, and Archer's the actual climax of UBW and also entirely significant across three routes.

Medusa x Sakura - Don't ship it

Why don't you ship it?

Because while journeying through the routes, I always saw Rider as more of a best friend/sort of motherly figure to Sakura.

Or that Rider fulfilled the kind of relationship that she wanted to have with Rin, while Sakura unknowingly filled the void Medusa's sisters left in her life. I thought she was more of a guardian angel really, not a romantic interest. Kind of like how Heracles was to Illya.

What would have made you like it?

If I could maybe forget about the threesome with Shirou and the implied romantic feelings Rider has for him in Ataraxia that would be great.

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

Sakura deserves all the happiness in the world and I really do believe that Rider could fulfill that.

What made you ship it?

oooh this probably sounds surprising since based on my content you'd think, no i dont ship this BUT I DOOOOOOO (i just happen to hc them as bros more often)

Honestly what did make me ship it is the parallels.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

IMO They have the biggest potential for hurt/comfort amongst all the ships mentioned here.

They can help each other get through their trauma. Their whole relationship would be extremely healing and supportive.

I love that Diarmuid seems to have idolized Cú Chulainn at some point and honestly who wouldn't be honored to stand beside him, no?

They could be up to the funniest shenanigans because Cú is chaos and Diarmuid would absolutely be an enabler because when he isn't angst-ing he's super damn chill.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Not really. Maybe that I think Lancer Diar and Cascu would get along better and Saber Diar and Lancer Cu would also get along better but honestly any form is good this ship is good

Clingy Langa After they make up i feel like Langa would still have issues showing affection verbally so he’d show it physically. Hugging Reki is his favorite thing to do with him like its cuddle hours 24/7. I feel like Langa would like to get under a blanket with Reki and hug him and fall asleep on his shoulder or chest quiet often and Reki finds it really cute. Gotta keep the lil’ snowflake warm <3 2. Their Perfect Date I feel like their perfect date would be anything actually too exiting. I feel like they’d love to go to the skate park where Reki taught Langa how to skate and practice a bit then go out to a small diner and talk about stuff they’ve done recently and want to do soon. Then they’d have a sleepover due to Langa being the sleepy guy he is. They would get under a blanket together, snuggle and watch a movie. (Langa rarely asks to play horror movies due to Reki being scared out of his mind) 3. The Actual Confession I’ll write how i feel the whole confession would go down in a different post but here is just a general idea. I feel like it would be at the skate park where Langa and Reki would practice together. It would be during the evening the sky would look similar to how it did when Langa did pulled his first Ollie (idk how to spell the trick name sorry) and the mood would be just right. It could be after they made up or how they made up (it would be more dramatic if it was how they made up ngl) and the mood would be perfect. I feel like somehow Langa would start it and we would end up hearing one of them say: “Because skating with you is my infinity” because that would be so fucking romantic and we’d get that amazing line in the anime. 4. Random Stuff They’d Do Together All of the random stuff they would do together would actually be some of the cutest shit you’d ever see. I feel like if they were going to a big place they would wear those matching pink shirts that they wore in 1 of the episodes. I also feel like after they made up and Reki is getting over his insecurities (because that stuff doesn't go away in a night) he’d brag about his boyfriend Langa. Like someones just watching the match on their phone and he goes up behind them like: “You see that? That’s my boyfriend. Isn't he amazing??? There’s no way he’d ever loose >:)” and it would be so fucking cute just to watch it. Sadly Miya would have enough of that and have to apologize on Reki’s behalf. Langa would also do something similar just not as big as Reki cause Langa isn't the best with words. After any match Langa would run up and hug him and be very proud of him, even if he did loose. I feel like Langa would praise him on everything he did because he likes that too and he’d feel like Reki would like it too.  5. Actually Having A Beef Together I feel like after making up they would have a fun beef because why not. I also feel like they’d bet something like this (not to mention in front of the whole crowd). “Okay if i win you have to give me a hug and take me out to our favorite diner!” “Okay well if i win you have to admit you’re amazing and give me a hug”. It would be the cutest beef cause they’d both be complimenting each other during the whole thing cause Langa just wants to make Reki happy and show him how cool he thinks Reki is and it would be so cute. Reki would compliment him back because he knows Langa really likes it when he compliments him. Idk who would win the beef but in the end both of them wouldn't care and they’d be happy either way.  6. Other  - Reki would hug or kiss Langa at S whenever Ad*m is near just to flex on him cause Reki will always hate Ad*m and he finds it funny whenever he looks sad. Langa wouldn’t care cause he likes when Reki gives him hugs and kisses. - Miya is so fed up with Langa and Reki being all lovey together but is also the wing man and will help Langa or Reki plan dates or fun things to do together.

- On valentines day the gang will help Langa and Reki pick out stuff for each other. (Langa and Reki dont know that they’re helping them both out. They only think they’re helping them). Carla and Cherry pick out the date spot, Joe gives them cute pick up lines that they can use. Miya makes snacks that they can give each other and Shadow gives them flowers to give each other.

- Reki and Langa sit together in the car (i have another head cannon ill talk about in a different post). They love when the school goes on field trips cause its an excuse to hang out more and see more places together.

blaine's dad being homophobic(?)- it was mentioned in sexy(?) and never explored which i feel is a wasted opportunity

rachel being bullied in season 1- miss girl was being badly bullied and it was VERY visible in season 1 but it was never given a proper storyline

kurt's ocd- it was there for like one episode and then gone the next. like that's not realistic ryan murphy have some respect

kurt's trauma from the bashing- um don't y'all think that this would be a very traumatic thing for someone? and it's never mentioned again after that episode? make it make sense glee

the entire shooting star episode- listen. i know that people shit on this episode a lot but i actually feel they handled this one well. that being said, HOW on EARTH is it never talked about after the beginning of sweet dreams like DONT YOU THINK that there would be major lasting consequences for these children? brittany was literally trapped in the bathroom for a good 20 minutes when the school went on lockdown. also why did we never get a scene with rachel, santana, and kurt finding out? and finn & puck? don't you think puck would be a LITTLE worried about jake? c'mon

blaine at sadie hawkins s4- okay i know it was name dropped in the episode but blaine being beaten up at sadie hawkins before the show was never really talked about between prom queen and sadie hawkins

rachel meeting her birth mom and being lied to by jesse- how TF does rachel not have any lasting resentment towards jesse after he LITERALLY lied to her about her mom, used her, egged her, broke up with her in front of everyone and humiliated her, and then had the AUDACITY to pretend like nothing ever happened? also how does rachel meeting her birth mom and basically not being accepted by her not make rachel the way she is? i totally believe that this is the reason rachel is obsessed with being successful (this along with being bullied throughout her life)

QUINN LITERALLY GIVING BIRTH AND PUTTING UP HER CHILD FOR ADOPTION AND BEING KICKED OUT OF HER HOUSE AND BEING HEARTBROKEN AND GETTING IN A CAR ACCIDENT THAT LEFT HER TEMPORARILY PARALYZED

the budget for the club- this one is self explanatory. how was mr schue paying for the club out of his own pocket when they had these elaborate sets and props. i do think most of the big performances (i.e. singin in the rain/umbrella, wanna be startin' something, stayin' alive) are all in their heads like when they burst into song in the middle of the hallway. however it doesn't explain how they got the set for rocky horror bc that thing was real and HUGE
