do you guys ever get annoyed that like. we have bodily needs.

like, sure, I don't mind eating a lil snack or drinking something tasty, BUT it annoys me that I have to do that in order to live.

like, I can't have little treats all the time, no, I have to eat regular meals, because otherwise the body will get upset. and most of the times, the body will also get upset if you eat something in particular, because it's dramatic like that

I like sweet fizzy drinks, but I gotta drink way more than I would like to in order to stay hydrated. and best way to do so is to drink water & that does NOT spark joy, the flavor usually is off, boring and annoying. not to mention if you drink enough, you gotta go to the bathroom so often, such an annoyance

I don’t know shit about color theory or anything but I haven’t seen anyone talk about Sabine and Shin’s differences in their color palettes

Sabine has always been bright and colorful. She’s known for her colorful armor, her colorful hair, and I would honestly say her colorful personality.

Shin’s entire look is the absence of color. Her hair is stark white, her outfits are shades of grey, and she’s monotone and has the same expression most of the time.

And like their facial expressions are so distinctly opposite of one another too. They both are saying these little jokes/sarcastic lines here but the smirk they each pull is so different!

Shin definitely looks dead in the eyes in her scenes as well. (In this gif she doesn’t blink once where Sabine blinks like 3 times) Almost like she’s locked all of her emotions down and feels nothing most of the time or maybe tries to hide them away from her master. (Her fight with Sabine definitely brought out that dark side anger tho)

Whereas Sabine seems full of hope and energy. She’s always fully reactive and present in her scenes. Her emotions are a central part of her narrative so far. Her dealing with the hope/grief surrounding Ezra and the frustration she’s feeling with the force, Ahsoka, and Huyang.

This is definitely to emphasize the contrast of their characters and probably some other wonderful analysis that someone with more experience could find.

I just think it’s really neat and everyone on the creative team (costumes, makeup, the actors, and everyone) did such a fantastic job!!!

-Like specifically his older self. He’s either talking to his younger self or specifically his son. As in Jacob’s son is doing dumb shit and he wants to make sure his kid doesn’t do the same mistakes he did

-I really want to emphasize the line:

-like this could obviously be about his dad or Maxwell Roth. He’s angry at both of them for different reasons, but he eventually acknowledges that holding onto that anger isn’t healthy but he’s still gonna struggle with it

-so obviously he wants to teach his son that holding onto anger isn’t gonna help at what he’s angry with

-also I want to point out this entire verse:

-it’s probably safe to assume that Jacob was a complete little shit as a teen. He is furious at his father for effectively forcing him into “holding up a legacy”. So goofing off becomes a coping mechanism basically

-the line “a mirrored picture of my old man, oh god, the kid’s a dab hand. Canny chanter, but he looks sad” hits a lot harder if you assume that Jacob is a dead-ringer for his father. No matter how hard he tries, he’ll always be reminded of his father’s face, every time he looks in the mirror, especially as he gets older

-basically what I’m trying to say is that this song is Jacob reflecting on his past, mainly his mistakes. He knew how much pain and grief he caused himself and his loved ones. So when he sees his son starting down a similar path, Jacob wants to save him from suffering the same kind of pain
