my fav theory is that the rani was using the vindicators to create a web like the nexus but since it was done by the doctor it’s pulling in people from his life and adventures (susan, poppy, rogue. maybe more idk i’m a new whovian😭)
my LEAST fav theory is the exact opposite and rogue was just a trick the rani used to fuel the doctors doubt. however even if this is the case i really don’t think it applies to poppy since we saw her outside the barbershop. MAYBE susan since we don’t see her until all the vindicators are primed but idk

They should've sacrificed 14 to bring back Poppy he would actually be useful for once.
Or have 13 offer to combine half and half of their regeneration energies so 15 could still keep that gorgeous face, and have her and 15 get into this debate that if 13 spends her regeneration energy here, 15's face might never exist- but then have 15 ask "In theory, would reusing an old face take less energy than creating a new one?". And 13 answer, face scrunched, "I suppose, there'll be fewer cells to burn, because you'll be bringing back what's already in your DNA instead of creating new strands, but that's not how regeneration works-". Then 15 grins, pulling her into a big old bear hug as he realizes this has already happened, this will always happen, what they do here is what will make that old face (14) come back. They will save their daughter (Poppy) together (and yes, he actually remembers who Poppy is here).
But then some shenanigans happen and when the timeline shifts, 13 is still alive and runs off to find Yaz and tell her she loves her. 15 takes Belinda and Poppy to Kerala, but leaves them there with a promise to return as soon as he can, he has another promise to keep- to rescue Rogue, and it'll be dangerous but Belinda is not having it "You’re not leaving me raise our daughter alone. I'm going with you. We can leave Poppy with the Sundays for a bit but I'm going with you." And then they go rescue his boyfriend together.
Also, Conrad rots in a prison cell like he was supposed to and all is right in the world again.

I have a theory of where season 3 of Doctor who is headed.
So, y’know how the past two seasons have had the secondary theme of storytelling, where characters keep breaking the fourth wall and the Doctor is continually alluded to as being a storyteller?
In the Reality War, we again talk about the under-universe, which I think is where we’ll find all of the characters who have disappeared saying “come find me” (Rogue, Helen Pye, maybe Susan).
We also learn that the Underverse has one crucial quality: it is a “world of legend”.
It is a “world of legend” so powerful that it is able to make the stories about Omega being a giant monster true.
I think that in season 3, we’ll find out that:
Rogue and the other missing persons are in the underverse
The underverse has something to do with these weird changes in reality. Maybe the doctor is a storyteller because people think of him as such. Maybe this is why he is able to break the fourth wall.
The last 15 minutes of reality war made absolutely no sense. All of Belinda’s past was rewritten simply because the Doctor wanted Poppy to be alive. Why is the past this flexible? The Doctor is currently in the Underverse and is bending reality to his will (without realizing it). He may have just gotten there, or he may have been there for quite a long time.

So I'm supposed to be sleeping, but I don't care. Old art beam! Strap on and remember that I deny any affiliation with drawings that were made more than two months ago :p
Also excuse the bad visibility, back then I mostly used my HB pencil and we can't see shit with that...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So this is a page of experimentations of a specific style that I liked to draw and I think I never picked it up again... Oh welp ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Tumblr media
Nothing to add for this one, it's just true.

Espio practice with a bit of Espilver that I may or may not have done while planning an animatic. And of course ther's the Sonic Rivals 2 experience. That is VERY old °_°

My fair share of birds (*cough* and sonjet) If you think you don't see enough babylon rogues here anymore, it's because I never finish them ;-; That last one was actually for a comic I never finished.

And this is technically my first trolls doodles. Hope you'll notice the hint of suffering I went through while figuring out how to draw them :D

another reason the regeneration is so horrible other than the fact that ncuti gatwa's regeneration will always be tied to the fact his version of the doctor basically became the villain of belinda's story & forced her into motherhood she never once asked for when all she wanted to do was to go home to her life & took that poor captain poppy away from whoever adopted her on that planet is that rtd confirmed that every single version of the doctor bigregenerated.
fifteen is the only one who is gone, gone.

Who is the Meep's boss? What's going on with Rogue? Why was Poppy in Lagos? Where is Susan? Is Mavity ever going to be addressed? What's with the fourth wall breaks? What is the significance of 73 yards and WHY did it come back? Are we going to get answers to ANY of the mysteries set up?

I have zero words for last night’s Doctor Who episode—just stunned silence and the sound of my own jaw hitting the floor.
First of all, I’m gutted that Ncuti Gatwa’s run is already wrapping up. He’s become one of my all-time favourite Doctors—effortlessly charming, chaotic in the best way, maybe it's just the gay in me. Either way I'm going to need a support group.
And that ending?? Like—what was that?! Billie Piper as The Doctor?? I screamed so loud my nephew ran in thinking I’d stubbed my toe. The Reality War is apparently not just the title, it’s my emotional state now.
This episode cracked the Whoniverse wide open. It really did make the world shake. Timelines folding in on themselves, identities are twisting—but I love it and I am here for the chaos.
Also—Ruby. What is she?? Still a walking mystery with a backstory that’s clearly way bigger than we’re being told. And Belinda?
And don’t even get me started on Anita. I love that woman so much I cried when she showed up—like full-on, ugly tears.
Hot take? Maybe. But I honestly feel like Anita has had more character development than Belinda at this point. She’s layered, loyal, and just amazing
And Poppy?? Okay, someone explain this please. We saw Belinda’s great granddaughter or something, she looks exactly like her. Now we’re seeing Poppy years into the future, still looking the same. Is this a thing now?
I need answers. I’m spiraling. The world needs to know. Russell T Davies, please stop holding all the cards and just lay them on the console already.
AND WHERE IS ROGUE?! Russell T Davies, I am once again politely screaming.
Anyway. I’m feral.
Please send snacks and emotional stability.

A REAL PUNCH IN THE GUT - 'CAUSE SAYING: "A MIDDLE FINGER" SOUND BAD.
Allow me a little rambling in regard to - mostly - "The Reality War".
♦♦♦♦ Spoilers under the cut ♦♦♦♦
Tumblr media
Well… Well, well, well…
I am not going to spend any words on Belinda and her supposed (although in my country it would be more correct to call it literally "supposta"- AKA "suppository") "happy ending" - simply because I feel that others have covered this topic far better than I could.
No, instead, I want to dwell on the absolute BESTIALITY of which the Doctor was the victim in the last episode of the season (and hopefully also the last of RTD, because - honestly - that guy MUST GO. He has clearly “lost his touch,” if he ever had one).
Tumblr media
Let's take a step back and talk about something that has been repeatedly said/implied throughout the ENTIRE series: the Doctor has been a father - and more than that, he has been a father who has lost his children.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This has been said over and over again (especially when RTD was in charge), and always in such a way that even the most inattentive viewer can realize how this loss causes the Doctor to PHYSICALLY suffer. His is a wound that NEVER really goes away, going through regenerations (even the most cheerful/disinterested ones) and “popping back up” in certain attitudes or in particular situations.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Having clarified this, we come to these last two seasons…
I think I'm not talking nonsense, when I say that I have always seen Fifteenth as the one in which this wound is more visible/recognizable. For both last seasons (this Doctor DEFINITELY deserved better, but that's another story…) I almost physically perceived his desire to have his family again (especially his niece Susan), and when Poppy was re-introduced - as his ACTUAL daughter no less! - I could (again) PHYSICALLY perceive his relief, his joy, his desire for a shared future with her… A bit like what - many years ago, always during an "RTD Era" - had happened with Jenny (yes, even if apparently only fans remember, the Doctor STILL have a daughter who knows where).
Tumblr media
Because, yes: RTD has shown us this game before; it has ALREADY shown us the Doctor having a daughter, only to have her brutally ripped away from him in the space of an episode.
Tumblr media
So why do I say/feel that this second time is worse? Simple (at least from my point of view):
The Doctor doesn't immediatly accept Jenny as his daughter. He thinks of her as someone who was created from his genetic code and that's it (Cit. "You're an echo, that's all. A Time Lord is so much more. A sum of knowledge, a code, shared history, shared suffering"). In fact, for a good part of that episode, he adamantly refuses to bond with Jenny.
WHILE INSTEAD
The Doctor loves Poppy, you can tell from the first moment we see them together in "Wish World" that's true. And it only gets stronger as the episode goes on - until it "explodes" in "The Reality War", where the Doctor starts acting like the most attentive, concerned and loving of fathers (he does everything to protect her, he is genuinely torn between letting the world stay as it is so as not to risk losing her and having to do the right thing for the Earth and its inhabitants, he instantly decides to modify the entire TARDIS to make it "child-friendly"… damn, HE DECIDES TO COMMIT SUICIDE in the hope of getting her back!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jenny survives (thanks, Moffat!). The Doctor has no way of knowing, true, but that doesn't change the fact that TECHNICALLY Jenny is still out there in the universe, she's still the Doctor's daughter, and she can still pop up again (even though we all know by now that she never will; that, like Rogue and Susan, she will always be a: "Could, could, but won't!").
WHILE INSTEAD
Poppy too survives, but for some absurd reason she remain EXCLUSIVELY Belinda's daughter. In this way the Doctor (who just committed suicide, let's remember, to get his daughter back) sees her torn away from him in the worst possible way: she's there, she's alive, but she's not his.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
RTD preferred to give a daughter to a character - Belinda - who has never shown the slightest desire to have one (just as not to have one, it's good to make that clear), rather than to a character - the Doctor - who has wanted her FOR CENTURIES, sadistically playing with both of his hearts for the pure pleasure of laughing at the indignant reactions of the fans.
Tumblr media
And this is absolutely the most disgusting thing a showrunner can do to one of his characters.

i’m so done omfg. i unfortunately saw ncuti gatwa trending before i watched it and had to convince myself it wasn’t because he regenerated. literally wtf. would it be wrong to say that last like 10-15 minutes almost ruined the whole season (and it’s SUCH a good season too.) not to immediately pivot to ruby but i’m annoyed she didn’t get to say bye to his face after the horrors she’s been through (conrad) and also i really wanted to see if ruby STILL remembered everything. idk i feel like this is on purpose to open up a rehash of reality war where the doctor is like “oh we’re still in a parallel reality !!” #ew. i’m maybe being too critical because i’m upset but like what about rogue???? not even a nod to the fact that it happened?? so yeah i’m gonna go cry

Wish World/Reality War: I will start with things I liked, Rogue's cameo, "Tables don't do that," was ridiculous but funny. Ruby and Shirley planning to kill God. Anita saving the Doctor, girl came through. The moment 15 took off his coat and we saw him in his original outfit also the scene at unit his "I'm the Doctor." Like yes. How the Doctor and everyone were so happy to see that Poppy didn't disappear after the wish ended. The Doctor so ready to baby-proof the TARDIS for Poppy. Belinda and the Doctor folding Poppy's coat as they make plans for future travels, and the coat disappearing into nothingness, heartbreaking. Thirteenth's cameo, her and 15's hug, and the "I should say that to Yaz," !!!
But on the other hand, I wish Anita had more to do other than just being a glorified door man. Poppy was cute and all but everyone was way too intense about that child, the Doctor to the point of committing suicide (at a point where he didn't even remember who she was) and Belinda with the "I don't care what UNIT thinks, or Time Lords or gods or anyone. I remember her being my daughter and if I remember it, then it's true" like girl what? Not even half an hour ago you running through the woods and screaming because you couldn't even remember giving birth to that child when asked how long you were in labor with her for, so what memories do you have exactly?
And then Belinda spends majority of the episode in a box with the kid, missing all the action, the cut to the zero room and the utter silence just kills me, (as Varada Sethu looks into that child's eyes and wonders why she ever took this role, if all they were going to do is waste her potential).
Ruby had permission to punch Conrad, and didn't take it, instead we got "Conrad's World... it could have been so much worse. A fantasy world, I'd expect guns and whisky and girls. But yours is nice. It's actually nice." I thought she was bluffing to get him to lower the gun, but worse she meant it and then Conrad's "I did what we he said. The Doctor. He told me, people just want to be safe and fed and warm. So that's what I did." Oh but FYI those people don't include the disabled or the trans (because he can't even imagine trans people could exist). Fuck off. I hate that Conrad got a happy ending.
The whole Omega and two Ranis plot resolution was so underwhelming, and yeah there wasn't much to it, so I don't really know what else to say about it.
Why does Ruby remember Poppy when everyone else forgets, actually why does Ruby remember all the other timelines? I know it's something to do with the events of 73 Yards, but 73 yards itself is such a convoluted mystery that it can't be a good explanation for this.
Did the Doctor just rewrite Belinda's entire life to cater to a child that didn't even need to exist? Is that what happened? That's crazy. What's even crazier is that it's presented as a good thing. So when Conrad does it, it's bad, but when the Doctor does it, it's fine. Laughable. The whole reason the Doctor wanted Poppy is that he's sterile and can't have kids (I won't even get into that, it's so convoluted) but in the end Poppy's only human so what was the point of it all?
So I did get spoiled that he turns into Billie Piper, because I wasn't filtering out the Rose Tyler tag (didn't think there was a need to in the year of our lord 2025) and ironically it was a post discussing if she's even the Doctor because she wasn't credited as such, and I say this as a Piper fan since childhood I don't want this either way, bringing back Tennant as 14 already ruined 10's run for me. Like I always used to feel sad when 10 had to erase Donna’s memories on rewatches now I'm just like "eh give it 15 years, it'll all be undone and pointless" so if Billie is back as Rose, I don't want them to undo her ending like they did Donna’s, and if she's really the Doctor in-universe, it's just... weird.
Also bringing back Tennant gave 13-antis the opportunity to say "Doctor Who is great again" (read that in Trump's voice) type shit and now they're doing the same thing with 15. Your first female Doctor was replaced by an old face of everyone's favorite straight white guy, your first black doctor was replaced by an old face of everyone's favorite white blonde girl, like don't you see the problem here?
I'm a fan of both Tennant and Piper, don't get it twisted, but it's also true that they are a step backward from what Whittaker and Gatwa brought to the table, and I don’t like to hate on showrunners, because they're just people who are trying to write stories, and they can't appease everyone, and they have to answer to higher-ups and all that, but RTD move on, TenRose aren't the entirety of the show and for the love of- learn how to write women you misogynistic, racist, piece of- okay no, all I'm saying is that the show is in desperate need of new direction, and it won't come under RTD.
