Supernatural seduction, take two: the professor has arrived.

Lilith: I don't think you'll be needing this anymore.
Man in Bar: [flustered] W-why's that?
Lilith: Both of our mouths are about to be very preoccupied.
-
Lilith: FINISH HIM!
Helena: [sobbing] I can't, Lilith. Please don't make me do it.
Lilith: [disappointed sigh] I suppose I can help you out. Just this once.
[sound of body hitting the water]
Lilith: But you’ll have to learn eventually.
-
Helena: [in a dull, detached tone] What turned you into this?
Lilith: Into what precisely?
Helena: A vampire, to start with.
Lilith: [hesitates slightly] It’s a boring story, really. Besides, my human memories have grown so foggy. If you must know, ask Caleb. I’m sure he’d love to spin our maudlin little tale for you.

i can't stop thinking about how it's genuinely crazy that antis can't get their arguments straight because like, i do agree with you that tommy's development was rushed and felt shallow. i mean, the reason it felt that way is because tommy wasn't an important character and they probably didn't want to spend time on a character that boiled down to "reformed bully" when they wanted to spend time on main characters. but now he is a vaguely important character and we'll be spending more time on him so it might feel weird not to have more development in that department.
but your argument doesn't really hold a lot of water when 1) you ignore the fact that we did see the fact that tommy changed, just not the journey to how he got to that point, so saying you want him to call someone a slur or assault buck doesn't actually stay true to what the show is showing you his character is and 2) you cannot keep to that argument even if your life depended on it. it's incredibly clear that you don't actually care that much about the rushed development when you keep distracting away from your point with "b-b-but he didn't dress up!!!" and "he made a flirty joke at an inappropriate time!!!" like those things do not matter as much "i genuinely believe that he is still racist, misogynistic, and generally bigoted because we didn't actually see him deconstruct those beliefs"

Do you think you'll draw the nimbasa trio catching their first Pokemon that's not their starter on their journey?
Definitely! It’s just a matter of getting there, haha. I am but one vaguely man shaped blob with a hyperfixation. Mortal needs like sleep and hand pains stop me from vomiting every brain idea I have.
I actually got this question multiple times, so to answer! I am not going to be drawing the nimbasa trio getting another pokemon until their late teens unless a brainworm strikes. (So no new pokemon during the current snapshot series haha.)
Why?
From a canon perspective, well:
Most npc trainers you meet on route have 2-4 pokemon, so I’m gonna try to keep within that amount until the trio settles in Nimbasa and have the revenue/space to upkeep a full pokemon team.
From a meta perspective, wellllll:
Another caught pokemon means character development, and I, ah... right now, I just wanna draw a candle, a zebra, and an eel. I love painting. But fitting seven or more characters on a canvas is, er… Make me draw more guys and I’ll melt like a vanniluxe on a summer day.
If people are curious for some pokemon headcannons though (note that this is not canon— pokemon gave me a puddle of information, so I’m taking the shovel to dig an ocean.)
- ingo saw a colony of dwebble collecting rocks while in the desert, and he’s been enamored ever since. He’s been trying to convince a dwebble to join his team for a while. Unfortunately, Ingo’s very excited and dwebble are naturally shy. (It doesn’t help that litwick can get mean when jealous.)
- emmet loves double battles and teams up with a lot of wild pokemon— but he doesn’t click with anybody until much further in the future. Me thinks his expectations are a tad too high from having such a good start with tynamo. He’s worked with multiple growlithes and thinks Helping Hand is the coolest shit ever.
- emmet’s first “caught” pokemon would be archen. More like “lab grown” and “lovingly hatched”, but it’s the thought that counts. Thinking once again about squab archen…
- elesa found her two emolga in the trash. She was going to release them after fostering, but got attached.
For future plans:
(The pokemon the twins live with and are officially part of the team (named at what stage the twins meet them! Note that everybody becomes fully evolved at somepoint.)
Ingo— litwick, dwebble, drillbur, and axew.
Emmet— tynamo, archen(lint roller), joltik, and durant.
They also have pokemon coworkers that don’t live with them, but agree to help in battles for exp and wages— kliklank twins, garbadore, shelmet and karablast, boldore (atlas), and gurdur)
And for our favorite electric gym leader:
Elesa— blitzle, the emolga twins (em and molga), stunfisk, mareep
(She has pokemon coworkers Eelektross (eela), zebrastrika (motorbreak), and Galvulanta (Lanta) who have a similar set up to the twins— the pokemon agree to work with Elesa for exp and wages, but otherwise have their own lives.)
(Fun headcanon: pokemon who are raised by humans tend to keep human nicknames. It’s not always the case, but it’s a common enough trend for research studies.)

Steve and the Ghost (Fic Idea)
So thanks to Spooky Season and all the wonderful inspiration I've been seeing from some amazing writers here as they gear up, is it any wonder that my mind has been inspired?
This is a little spacey, but bear with me as I get it out.
The idea goes like this:
Steve's apartment, prior to joining the war efforts, ends up being leased to a young lady who works in the war efforts on the home front. She adores her tiny, if a little rundown space as it's something she can call her own.
While Steve cleaned out the apartment fairly well, he leaves behind a sentimental trinket without realizing it (possibly something relating to his mother).
Well, the young woman now living there comes across it one day while deep cleaning the space. She doesn't know why she's drawn to it really, but she ends up giving the trinket a place of honor in her new home.
When said young woman tragically meets with an accident, the apartment goes on to become the home of several other tenants from the 1940s to present day.
Okay, so that's the setup, here's where it goes from there...
Steve is pulled out of the ice and thawed. When he gets a chance to reacquaint himself with NYC and his old neighborhood in Brooklyn, he finds himself back in his old apartment. It's a building that's actually being torn down.
Well, as he walks the old place, he finds the same trinket he left behind. Past tenants have also come across it but it's never been able to be removed. No matter what they try to do, it just stays in place as though someone or something is keeping it there.
Steve is actually able to pick up the trinket and brings it back to his new place that SHIELD helped him get (so prior to Avengers at this point and all the events with Loki). Their shared love for the trinket is the key to getting it to leave the now-condemned building.
He's not even sure how the object survived through all these years, but he can't say he's not happy that it did.
What he doesn't count on is the ghost that comes with the trinket. It's the same young woman who took over his place after he left for the war and became Captain America.
So, not only is he dealing with being a man out of time, he now has a ghost to contend with. A pretty ghost if he's being honest with himself.
The two actually have a lot in common, and he soon finds himself wanting to help her in some way. Maybe give her a chance to 'move on' even though that's not what he really wants or give her a second chance of some sort.
Anyway, he starts seeking out 'experts' in the field of ghosts which aren't many, but he does find a few promising leads.
Eventually, they figure it out and set our ghost lady free.
You decide which path she goes from there if it's to enjoy her afterlife or if it's a second chance with her new love, Steve.
So, that's all I've got at this point. Maybe I'll turn this into fic one day, but I've got so many others to write right now that I'm not sure when I'd even get to this one.
What do you think? Should I consider writing this or not?

Excuse the YouTuber in the corner I'm too lazy to switch to a different video but, it's probably a pretty easy conclusion to come to that KH might function off a somewhat stable time loop but nothing has really made it feel blatantly obvious than realizing that actually, since Ansem SoD sent Young Xehanort to Scala, that would mean there would have to be a starting timeline where the first SoD went back to start the loop, meaning there has to be a timeline where Xehanort never left Destiny Islands MEANING there has to be a timeline where SoD never existed, and as such neither did Xemnas and Terranort never happened along with basically everything else. So are we in fact confirming that KH does indeed function off a stable timeloop that never truly "started" somewhere and has just always been this way, or what in the world could have happened to still lead Xehanort to Scala without interference? Cuz now I have to wonder, if we're going by stable timeloop, then either Sora creates the tear in time every loop effectively creating endless ones over and over which could lead to a bigger problem(or not a problem at all if it's supposed to happen??) OR this is somehow the first deviation, which doesn't feel likely considering obviously Quadratum and Srelitizia being there seems to be decidedly factored into the equation here, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it hasn't been. Or maybe the problem is that Sora's genuinely not supposed to be there. Idk where I'm going anymore, but basically if time started somewhere and it hasn't always been a loop, how did we get HERE to the point in the screenshot where SoD/practically everything was able to exist to "create itself" essentially??? And I don't think that's possible without outside intervention, so it's gotta be a stable timeloop!
