Update: Hind has been confirmed dead. As were the two men who tried to rescue her. She was only 6 years old. They were only trying to save her.

Israel has spent decades telling the world that every civilian it kills was either a terrorist or a “human shield.”

But what does that claim mean when their soldiers execute paramedics and bury them in mass graves?

A new report reveals that on March 23, Israeli forces in Rafah killed 15 Palestinian medics and rescue workers in a series of deliberate attacks.

These were not combatants.

They were:

• Wearing medical vests

• Operating in clearly marked ambulances

• Killed one by one, not in a chaotic firefight

One was found with his hands tied behind his back, proof of an extrajudicial execution.

The IDF claims they fired on a “suspicious vehicle.” That lie evaporates under scrutiny: how do you explain the hand-tied medic?

This is not a one-off. The same army claims that Hamas uses “human shields,” while Israeli soldiers have been caught on video tying civilians to vehicles, forcing children into buildings, and following orders to use the “mosquito protocol” — IDF slang for sending Palestinian captives ahead to trigger traps. Even Haaretz now reports that nearly every IDF unit in Gaza used human shields as routine.

When the IDF kills doctors, aid workers, and children, they call it “self-defense.” When Palestinians die, they're retroactively labeled Hamas, or human shields, or “suspicious.”

This is how the narrative is manipulated: not with facts, but with framing that assumes every Palestinian is guilty by proximity.

So ask yourself: when the army claiming everyone it kills is a human shield is also the one executing medics, what credibility is left?

Red Crescent reported Palestinian 7 year old child is stuck in a vehicle in Gaza that was bombarded by Israeli tanks killing her father and four of her brothers. The girl is horrified in the car with the bodies of her family. Ambulances are prevented from reaching her !!!

A 7-year-old gir👧l is besieged by Israeli tanks in #Gaza inside her family's vehicle, which was targeted by the occupation about three hours ago. 📍Everyone inside it (her father and four siblings) has been martyred. ⭕Our teams continue to communicate with the girl to calm her down, especially since the family was fired upon while contacting emergency services for help. She Was Just An Innocent Child

The body of a six-year-old Palestinian girl, missing for 12 days after an Israeli tank targeted their family car in Gaza, has been found along with the bodies of two medics dispatched to look for them.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and the family of the girl, Hind Rajab, confirmed on Saturday that all seven people inside the car were killed, with the Palestinian relief organisation saying it lost crew members Yusuf Zeino and Ahmed al-Madhoun in the Israeli attack on civilians in Gaza City.

Family members found Hind’s body along with those of her uncle and aunt and their three children near a roundabout in the city’s Tal al-Hawa suburb, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

Another of Hind’s uncles, Sameeh Hamadeh, said the car was peppered with bullet holes.

“The occupation deliberately targeted the ambulance upon its arrival at the scene, where it was found just metres away from the vehicle containing the trapped child Hind,” said the PRCS statement.

“Despite prior coordination to allow the ambulance to reach the location to rescue the child, Hind, the occupation deliberately targeted the Palestine Red Crescent ambulance crew.”

Earlier this month, the PRCS published an audio file in which Hind could be heard pleading on the phone with a member of the rescue team. All members of her family are believed to have been killed before her, leaving her terrified in the car with the dead bodies of her loved ones.

“I’m so scared, please come. Please call someone to come and take me,” she was heard crying desperately in the call that PRCS said lasted three hours in an effort to calm the frightened child.
