hey! regarding your post about da2 romances locking out: this one is a bug, but i figured i'd mention it here since it seems undocumented save for one very old reddit post about it. it appears that you cant trigger anders rivalmance if bethany dies in the deep roads and his QB dialogue cuts off early despite it being otherwise correct romance dialogue. you can fix it by changing class to mage w/ the console but that does fuck w/ the rest of the game, so i'd love to see a fix from someone someday

What do you think about Chase Daniel saying that Joe angered a bunch of NFL players by being “pro 18 games” and that damage control is happening because a top 5 QB spoke for the 18 games.

I think it’s an embarrassing dramatic idiotic moment for Chase Daniel. Especially since he works for the NFL Network and is supposedly “an analyst” (That only started like 5 games his entire NFL career) because he clearly didn’t bother to inform himself with the context of that entire conversation and just ran with his own narrative to try to spin Joe’s words around for attention.

Even Joe himself isn’t in favor of the 18 games but he just answered a question that was asked hypothetically IF it were to happen, HE would prefer it to be like XYZ. That’s literally it.

After Hours

I’m sooo new to this JB fanfic world! Go easy on me 😎 Someone planted this little seed, so I obliged. Some smutty, smut, smut, so enjoy yourself. You’ve been warned 🫠

Preseason was a plethora of emotions for you. The anticipation of the impending season and the ring it may deliver for your guy was the indescribable high it brought. But, you couldn’t help but feel the heavy dread of Joe’s time with you slipping away once more as the month of May arrived.

Off season for him was coincidentally your slowest time of year at work as well, which meant the two of you were attached at the hip. Actually, more so attached in other places. Much more fun, satisfying places

Joe had fallen into the grind and sway of mini camp earlier last week, and you’d already seen so much less of that beach tanned face than you would ever prefer. A spring event you were knee deep in planning for a new business downtown had your attention on lockdown into the late evening hours, usually after Joe had been in bed for a while upon your arrival home. The ebb and flow of responsibility wearing out it’s welcome in your relationship.

Lucky for you, you had some pull with one very valuable QB, who could snag you some VIP access, & he had planned you join him at the facility for your cardio after work, rather than the 24-hour gym you typically attended alone 4 times a week.

You’d changed in your office as the sun dozed off into the night, & were about to take a left into the stadium lot when your phone chimed.

J: Let me know when you’re here. I’ll come walk you up.

Most spaces were empty as majority of the team had turned in for the night, but occasionally Joe liked to hang around late and get an ice bath in after the heat of his day.

You slung your car into park, gathering your keys and such, and waited for Joe to arrive at your beckoning.

Just as you’d opened the door of your white SUV he’d come gliding out the double doors of the tunnel. Still clad in the sticky residue of a sweaty afternoon, his tussled curls bounced from under the confines of a black headband. The thin coverings of a nearly painted on sleeveless shirt left little to your already soaring imagination as he patiently approached you with a lazy half smile.

“There she is.” He cooed, snaking a wide, sinewy forearm around your waist.

You met his eager kiss, sneaking a salty taste of his top lip between your teeth briefly.

“Let’s get this show on the road, Burrow. I have plans for you when we get home.”

Joe raised his groomed eyebrows in curious intrigue, nodding his head as he intertwined his fingers with yours to escort you inside.

The lights of the hallways had been switched off, the glow of an office here and there lighting the way towards the weight room. Once you’d twisted and turned through the doorways of the locker room and PT areas, Joe let loose of your hand to gesture toward his polar plunge.

“ I lifted while the guys were still here but Ja’Marr and I moved the bike in here for you so we could be closer.”

As he explained, he nonchalantly eliminated the cover of his spandex shirt, the lines of his back showing off in full view.

This man is actually going to have the audacity to outright strip himself like there’s nothing to it.

You played his coy game, realizing if you didn’t, there was no way you’d be able to keep your grubby paws off of him until the two of you reached home.

Slinging a leg over the seat of the exercise bike, you shifted comfortably & moved to pop a headphone into one ear for some background music.

“I can play something through the speakers, babe.” Joe mentioned, dragging your attention to his bear naked frame about to slink into the sea of slush.

His breath hitched, but only momentarily as he disappeared below the beck into the tub, still leaving you a view of his broad biceps laid over sides of his bath.

Smiling, still baffled at his calm, collective behavior, you nodded. “Only if you promise to play things I like too, stereo hog.”

He reached for his phone, poking at the screen behind quizzical brows just as H.E.R echoed faintly through the concrete walls.

You’d already began to pedal, a sheen of liquid collecting on your chest beneath a white tank top. Joe would ask a brief question about dinner, and you’d inquire how camp was going, catching up on each other as the moments passed.

Your focus lie far, far away from anything other than him.

The racket of ice chattered off the sides of the metal tub as he’d shift his apparently sore knees beneath the water, causing him to stretch his thick neck from side to side. A board hand combing back the stray waves ticking his forehead, water from his bath dampened the knotted locks.

Your breaths were hitching with the heaviest rise and fall watching him, the motion of your speedy pedaling easier on you than the sight of him.

“Slow down, baby. You’re not gonna be able to walk outta here.” Joe chuckled, oblivious to the fact that your workout had nothing to do with your panicked pace.

Reaching for a towel, he revealed himself from beneath the water, arising from the pool like statuesque sex. Eyes down as he tied the towel around his hips, not hurriedly, assuring you catch the perfect glimpse of his gifted manhood, he then looked up, bottom lip biting back his arrogant, knowing smile. He winked toward you.

Your movements, and possibly even your breaths, ceased at the sight. Aches all unrelated to the exercise bicycle tore through your core viciously, undoubtedly giving away your want for him.

“Is anyone here?” You simply asked him.

Stepping out onto the floor, he matter of factly marched toward the locker room before picking up his phone.

“Nope.” He answered as he lifted you from atop the seat.

Your legs instantly tightened around his muscled stomach as he carried you with a purpose you were all too readily aware of.

The fluorescent lights of the carpeted room reflected off the wetness of both your bodies as Joe tongued his way inside your mouth, lowering your unsteady legs to the floor.

“Sit here.” He bossed, placing you on a chair directly in front of his name marked locker.

“You’re up to something,” you breathily remarked and he pulled off you shoes, then your leggings, nearly growling to find nothing underneath.

“You better fucking believe I am,” he boldly admitted. “Take off that damn bra.”

Like the law abiding citizen you were, you obeyed without second thought, although curious why he was stepping away from you.

Planting his still towel clad body a few feet in front of you, he lifted his phone to point in your direction.

“Look above your head,” Joe directed so you would turn to see his name plate just over top of you. “Now, touch yourself for me.”

Confusion, however still arousal, swarmed you for a mere second before you connected the dots.

Joe wanted this memory forever. You, naked and flushed with overwhelming heat, pleasuring yourself in front of his locker, his name marker above you like a little gift tag. The success of his dreams come true, and his most prized asset all in one photo. Not to mention there wasn’t anything sexier to him than you being turned on by the colossal badass he was on the field.

You obliged with full commitment, not daring ruin this fantasy for him. As if you’d had to pretend to begin with…

You steadied yourself, legs spread wide, your neck fell back in a heavy daze as you touched between your thighs. Twinges of an anticipated release wasted no time trying to overcome you, almost seconds after you’d began. The excited and unfamiliar adventure of the moment almost too much to bear.

“Enough is enough.” Joe croaked with a scratchy throat. “I’m fucking taking you.”

Before you could protest, (as if you would) he was on his knees feasting and worshipping at the gap of your thighs like a man crazed. You tugged at his hair, latching a leg around his neck to steady yourself for his attack but there was no dignity left between the two of you. Screams of passion and groans of a starving man bounced off your ear drums, sounds you thought you may be arrested for had anyone witnessed.

“I could die one happy fucking man right now, princess. Such a good girl doing what daddy says.”

Trying to resist the explosion you felt in your belly, simply trying to make the moment last, you held your breath. But the resistance had no chance against Joe. You shook from head to toe, squashing the near life out of his handsome face as you clenched in release around him.

Barely taking a second to let him recover from snack time, you swiftly tugged him to the seat now slick with your sticky sweetness & mounted his wide lap with giddy readiness.

You knew better than to slid onto him without slow preparation, but the fire inside you spread like a ruthless flame & you couldn’t take the time for forms of restraint. Joe laid his palm on your panting throat, his thumb bitten between your hard bite. He never took the blown pupils of his eyes off of you as you frantically rode his solid member. Joe’s tongue grazed the love of your ear, the labored exhales of your name encouraging you.

“This what you had in mind?” You whimpered, digging into his shoulder for leverage.

His worked palm’s grazed their way over every goosebump on your swaying body, their destination bound for the gentle shimmy of your plump cheeks. The way he molded into you was an indescribable bliss that your body had learned to crave more than any morsel of food known to man. The sensation of his meaty, toned core flexed under your clawed fingers, and he kissed his answer into your mouth.

“This is always what I have in mind, gorgeous. I never get tired of this soft little pussy.” He chuckled devilishly, his sexy smile only sending you farther over pleasures edge.

Your sudden, clenching jolts, taunting Joe inside of you, and you saw the familiar furrow of his brow that meant he was shamelessly losing himself to your feminine sway.

Tilting your heads back in united ecstasy, the pair of you rode of the finishings, headed skin electric against one another.

“We should make a habit of this,” Joe traced small lines on the small of your back, peppering you with thoughtful kisses. He was proud of himself, cheeky son of a bitch.

He helped you get dressed before clothing himself, escorting you go your car, flirting like a teenager the whole way, his arm snug around your shoulders.

“We still have to shower when we get home..” He reminded.

Maybe the seasons beginning wouldn’t be so bad after all.

for a kids’ cartoon, this show has got a LOT of different endings. for ANY show, it’s got a lot of different endings! i’m really very curious about which ones other people liked best.

Notes: 

The holiday episodes are listed as their own future because they clearly take place after a lot of summer already happened (Canderemy being an established couple, Heinz & Perry on very good terms, Irving being there). But it’s fall/winter, so summer is over. But it’s not compliant with “Last Day of Summer,” since Heinz is still very much scheming. Hence — alternate future.

With those rules in mind, Candace Against the Universe is still not considered to cause an alternate future here on the grounds that OP believes the joke with Perry’s watch at the end led to another round of Amnesia-inator.

Fun Fact: “Act Your Age” & “OWCA Files” are the only futures here that are reconcilable with “Last Day Of Summer.” I’m not including “Doof 101” in this for two reasons — it would take place directly after LDOS, but Vanessa’s attitude to her father appears different (at least to me), plus there wouldn’t have been time for a whole arrest/hard-time-or-community-service thing to go down. I’m also not including “Quantum Boogaloo” on the grounds that Heinz & Perry in the good timeline give the impression that Heinz never quit evil. Plus, from a Doylist perspective, I don’t believe they would have had Doof-1 create that horrific of an empire if QB had been an episode in later seasons. MML is not LDOS compliant because Heinz is still “evil” when Milo&co meet him (I think - I’ve not watched it).

edit: i’ve now watched MML. heinz is, in fact, no longer evil. he still sets traps for the pizza guy, though. and it is LDOS compliant. idk he’s just like that.

A few friends were asking for advice on fighting Balteus, so I went back and made a little video on it, figured I might as well share it here for whoever needs it, featuring my AC, Loverboy:

Balteus is very fast, but doesn't move frequently. Once it gets in position, it will use its missile rings and stay stationary for long periods of time. Don't waste your ammo while it's moving and save you big shots for when it's still, preferably right after it finishes moving. Likewise, adjust your range accordingly; Loverboy is a close quarters AC, so I have to make sure I always get close fast. Assault Boost is an idea, but since the arena is small, I prefer boosting there normally to have more control on my dodges.

Ideally you have a means of quickly getting rid of Balteus' Pulse Shield. Missile spam, pulse blades, pulse guns, shotguns, if you can work it in, work it in.

Balteus has very low poise ACS. It's very easy to break its ACS once it's out of shield, so you can get multiple breaks in between shields, if you are aggressive and/or greedy enough. When its Pulse Shield is low, you may want to reload and have all of your weapons prepared to capitalize on Direct Hits.

After Balteus uses Primal Armor (the big energy explosion) and changes phases, watch out for its 'flamethrower blade'. It's an intimidating attack, but it's very simple to deal with it: Change altitude. Simply boost directly upwards and towards Balteus, or, if you predict it's coming, go high (easy with quadlegs since you can hover there) and then drop down to the ground. Once Balteus has a fixed path of attack, its vertical tracking is poor, so instead of contending with his 'blade's' massive horizontal hitbox and active frames, simply change altitude. Balteus has a few variations of the flamethrower blade, but they are all dealt with by changing altitude. As for the fire blast, Balteus will use it if it flies high up, so you know it's coming: Quick Boost backwards as needed to not be in the blast zone, and ascend, as it hits the floor, but has poor vertical range.

Balteus' small salvos go directly at you quickly, whereas its big salvos linger a bit around Balteus first before homing in. Time you QBs accordingly.

Avoid being in a vector with Balteus when it starts moving, as it it'll likely use its chaingun to deal immense damage and ACS to you. Just strafe perpendicular to it and all shots will miss.

Finally, keep watch for the Attack Warning: It has a rocket shot that aims at you directly and its telegraphed by the warning. Simply QB to the side.

It's a fast fight but Balteus has some pretty severe flaws, as you can see! Hit it hard, greed forever, and kill it.

I genuinely think some of you need to learn what open ended means because this was not that. I could name an example of a non canon couple who sadly had a open ending in recent years. Somehow 911 did even less that that. I know some would prefer to stay positive but they also don’t want to admit they were wrong. Being upset buddie may not happen is one thing but this…. The show knew what they were doing when they ended it having them paired with other people. With women no less, they knew what they were doing and they had a certain message they wanted to send across. You can interpret the show anyway you want but that isn’t always the same way they want to interpret it. They have been saying that especially KR for a long time. So sure watch it whatever way you want but that doesn’t mean it will happen on screen. She and many others has a story they wanted to tell and well it wasn’t the one we wanted to see. The one it seemed they have been building up on for years. But then again isn’t that the definition of queerbait. You know the word some in this fandom don’t want to touch with a ten inch pole because what they were proved wrong or this is there first non canon couple and “there” show is different sigh hon but nope. This was and is exactly what it look like qb. Not saying it doesn’t make the show runners like you any more or buddie happening any more likely no matter what bs Tim has said previously. At the end of the day if it walks like a duck….

The Hamas police story is central to the current issues affecting Gaza. For instance, there are many reports of a humanitarian crisis in the Strip. Hamas and many organizations that have worked with it over the last decades have often claimed there is a humanitarian crisis in Gaza in order to win concessions for Hamas so the terror group can continue to rule there.

Hamas believes the suffering of Gazans is in its interests, and it profits from their suffering. However, there is also a very real concern about how the current situation in Gaza could worsen in terms of the humanitarian crisis. Hamas may want the situation to worsen and may be using gunmen or its “police” to make it harder for Gazans to access aid.

We can see how this narrative functions through a recent report at Reuters claiming that “masked men in Gaza enforce prices.” The men claim they are merely enforcing law and order. However, usually “law and order” doesn’t need to be enforced by men with masks, sticks and guns.

Relationship between Hamas and law and order

In Gaza, however, there has been a symbiotic relationship between Hamas armed men and the delivery of humanitarian aid. What this means is that the presence of Hamas gunmen is seen as a positive thing by some of the stakeholders in Gaza.

The absence of an alternative to the Hamas gunmen creates this perception of the terrorist group as “law and order.” This is a strange type of law and order because the same terrorist group places weapons in civilian homes; the same group poses as civilians, bringing harm to innocent people, and the same group brought war on Gaza by attacking Israel on October 7. However, those who perceive Hamas as “law and order” appear to systematically ignore the fact that firing thousands of rockets from civilian areas is not usually how “law and order” thrives.

An article at The Guardian in January is symbolic of the way Hamas has inserted itself into the perception that it is a force for good in Gaza via its “law and order.” The article notes “One senior humanitarian official told The Guardian: ‘The technocrats continue to be about but the QB [Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing] you don’t see. You still see Hamas police in different areas who have a grip to some extent on law and order in some places including in the north.’”

Soft blue eyes looked at her gently, a hand slowly reaching out. The blonde hesitated but after a few beats, accepted the outstretched hand.

"I'm okay."

A scoff and then a sigh, "I wish I could will myself to believe you."

Ladybug smiled and tugged her closer. Queen Bee moved, her body succumbing to whatever the other girl wishes, "You don't have to. I'm here, I have enough luck for both of us to believe." Queen Bee cracked a smile, albeit small.

"Promise you won't do that again?" I can't lose you. I can't lose any of you, especially now.

Ladybug hummed as she rested her head on the other hero's shoulder. Queen Bee rolled her eyes playfully but shifted to make the other girl's position more comfortable. It stayed like that for a while, just the two of them relieved in each other's embrace.

forgive me for a moment as i spitball my thoughts and arguments.

ive been writing kai for a while. i have three fics (two finished) right now that are surrounding her. and i have some gripes.

ive read tkwdlm. ive read hm, and tws. ive looked at this stupid little girl longer than id like to admit.

and im... torn.

see, i quite the like the warm coded and cool coded character thing. maybe im old school, now, but ive always found it accurate and fun.

kai is blue. she's cool. for our purposes, so are steph, and pete. we'll use ted and max as our warm coded characters.

cool coded characters prefer things that arent dumb. things that make sense. thats the center of their motivation. stephs motivation follows what she deems as "not dumb" i.e; her social life. pete does the same, though his "not dumb" is school, and his education.

warm coded characters prefer things that are challenging. things that they struggle with, or that other characters dont think they can do. ted, as our example, goes for anyone he can, because he knows itll bring him a challenge, and a reward. max, too, goes for the challenge. hes the star qb, he could have anyone, but he wants grace. the one girl who doesnt want him.

so.... whats up with kai?

yeah anyway i dunno. i dont know what this even means anymote. i have thougjts about her. and brown is a warm color.

Chloe legit did her homework the next day and complained to mari over call ab how hard it was

She realised she couldn't stop being mean to everyone simply out of habit, so she just straight up started being mean about things they shouldn't do.

Sabrina! You need to tell me if you can't do something.

Ugh, Kim, if you don't stop being so loud in class-

You're such a worrywart, marinette, maybe learn to live a little.

Sure, a lot of mistakes were made, but it was that much better being around chloe.

In just a few months, chloe proved adept at staying out of sight of akumatised victims and capable of shattering akumas on her own. Moreover, she was a great fighter, a good hero.

With time, the number of akumas targetting her went down to zero and she was almost a new person.

Then, one day, lb needed her for something different. She needed bee to find out chat's identity and pass him messages in his civillian form.

When chloe found out it was "ADRIKINS!?" she realised she couldn't possibly continue hating chat. But she also couldn't give lb up to him for grabs.

That's exactly what she told him.

Adrien, Chat. You've been my best friend since childhood. I've seen what you go through, with your fa-umm... what you've gone through since your mother's death.

If you ever need to talk about anything, you are always welcome. About anything at all.

Thanks, but i kinda already stop by mari's terrace to talk about my problems as chat. Of course, i haven't revealed my identity to her so maybe there are some things i can come to you about.

Righhhht. Hm- so another thing is, chat, i really like ladybug too. And i won't give her up to you without a fight. And I'll never lose to you!

Then on, queen bee would drop by at the bakery, through the front door, flowers for her buginette.

(I'd like to imagine chat also upped his game when he found out chloe was getting close to mari and brought his princess little trinkets.) (He wasn't aware she was also lb at all.)

With time, mari became fond of the bee buzzing around her everywhere.

Before either of them realised they were calling each other sweet treats and honey tart, bug and bee

Mari couldn't have pointed out when she fell, but at some point, she accidentally told queen bee she loved her as she left for home from the bakery.

Chloe carried that blinding smile all the way through the weekend and into school on monday. Sure, mari was an anxious wreck that whole week. Because what else would you expect out of her? But chloe? Chloe had learnt a new skill in the past year. The ability to stay hidden and melt into bright light. She became the white noise in marinette's life until mari couldn't help but feel comforted by her presence.

They started dating in secret in a few months. As lb and qb, they told chat. He was, well, depressed to say the least. He'd tell mari all about it, and mari couldn't help but feel guilty.

Chloe and mari had comforted him in the bakery more than once in the middle of their dates. Chloe could forgive him. She'd also be broken if mari chose him over her.

Chat never did get over lb, but he got better at putting his mask back on.

Meanwhile, the viewers get to realise something about marinette that is not too obvious in the show. Marinette is not a mary sue. She is stubborn, she needs things to go her way, and she doesn't think any of her partners are capable without instruction. Yes, she is a good leader, but she is a very, very bad standby observer.

Chloe and mari both value their freedom, they both don't like making too many compromises and they both prefer if things move according to their plan. So while chloe is quick to anger, marinette frets. They get into fights. Chloe uses insults as her weapon. Marinette launches into tirades or sasses her back.

The fights aren't frequent. Because both the girls do compromise to quite an extent; out of guilt, love, and empathy. But there are these other more frequent little squabbles between the two about little things.

One wanted a particular flower. The other can't afford a certain cafe. Marinette's morals, chloe's standards. Usually, marinette would bring chloe baked goods and chloe would give in.

All good, right? Well, everything keeps happening according to mari's wishes. Marinette rarely compromises on these. Rose accidentally points it out during a project one day.

It sort of breaks chloe when she realises. When she asks marinette, the girl points out she thinks it's because chloe realises she's wrong.

Chloe barely manages to keep her tears in check as she breaks up with marinette. Does mari still think she is better than chloe? Maybe. She goes straight home and locks herself in. After crying 2 days straight, she finds chat at her window. She can't tell him anything really. But the support is good enough.

When he realises she isn't in a position to answer his questions, he simply gets her into the bath, playfully swatting the water at her with his tail. He gets her a towel after about 30 mins, washes off all her running makeup, and wraps her up in it. Chloe sits, dripping water on her bed while chat rummages for a change of clothes.

He gets her one of her childhood favourites and begs her to change out of wet clothes. It takes chloe another half an hour to make it even with pollen's help. Chat dries her hair off and brushes it into a fancy updo. He recharges and takes chloe to a food joint, and gets take out that they have on the eiffel tower.

(Chloe doesn't speak but chat doesn't actually need her to. Afterall, lb has been out of it too. But he knows something now. Because he comforted marinette through a breakdown, he knows who his lady is, now. He doesn't tell the girls. They don't realise it through their pain either.)

When the girls start talking to each other again, months later, the pain and hurt remains. But they've both grown into better people. Sometimes, they still call each other bee and bug. Old habits do die hard.
