Ok hold on, maybe I'm missing or not remembering something but...

Elias took his sweet sweet time with the emergency CO2 gas release after the gang was attacked by worms in the tunnels at the end of S1 because he needed Jon to get marked by the worms.

But Jon already had a worm in him even before the gang fled to the tunnels? (Sasha was pulling it out of him when they got locked inside the safe room where Martin was staying at.)

So did Elias not see notice that or did he just need more worms?

Queer podcast would not be where they are without Carlos, they were gonna have Cecil's instant crush be a one off joke (you'll notice Josie also falls in love instantly) but Carlos was SO hot they made it canon and it redefined the entire medium!!

Okay but this tournament is not about finding the most important, historic, influential, best, or even favourite fictional podcast character. It's about who the voters think is sexiest. And for some people, a messy disaster of a rockstar who sings Christmas music in an overthrown Hell and hit a child-abuser with a deez-nuts joke before dying to a deez-nuts joke and now has nothing (including neither wife nor son) does more more for them than someone with perfect hair and teeth like a military cemetery who has a labcoat for every occasion and is touch-averse* and hid from everyone who loves him that he spent a decade in the Desert Other World. Such is life, we all have our own tastes.

*EDIT: Mod forgot þeir own rules for no book-sourced propaganda for a moment there. Ignore that bit.

#Also like they were going to have Cecil gay from the beginning. Like always. I don't think it was supposed to be a joke.#The fandom blew up only after season one. I don't think Cecil/Carlos was made canon *for* the shippers.#Anyways my brother has been aware of this tournament since Glenn vs. Taako but it was only today or yesterday when he found out it was #about which character was *sexier*. Okay, I am going to try SO SO HARD to actually keep up with One (1) podcast even without a commute so I'm listening to all of the newly-released Worlds Beyond Number things including the short preview, and I am quietly cackling over, underneath all the crosstalk of, "Games are fun and we're really fun!, Aabria just, "I'm not fun."

#I know this is a lie aabria I have seen it first hand.#also the follow up of introducing the concept of 'these characters might die!' and aabria like 'that makes it become less fun'#brennan in a fucking monster voice: I think it becomes *more fun*#me: relatable @ both #also today in: things that reminded me I only got a chapter into the infinite playground #but yeah I must be debuffed by driving in order to listen to podcasts so I am going to try so hard.#no other task works cuz I know the task manager assigning me things and she's a fucking pushover.
