Is it true that ketu in the 8th house makes a person have a terrible love life and bad married life?

Ketu in the 8th House and Relationship Life

Well I have that position so I'm uniquely qualified to answer.

This is an overgeneralisation, but it does make for some chaos in personal life. Those who have nothing but benefics in houses 2 and 8 take for granted how much ease and stability they have in their lives. They should talk to anyone with nodes in houses 2nd or 8th to see how great they have it.

To be able to understand this, you need to look at the polarity of houses 2nd and 8th. They're our foundation of reliance. While the 1st house is the sense of self, the 2nd house is self reliance. That self reliance comes from family, people so connected to you they support you unconditionally and feel like an extension of you.

Now with Rahu there the situation will be original and unique. Depending on the dispositor of Rahu, that can work for better or for worse. You need to look at the position of Jupiter. You can either have a family that is original in itself and supports your unique values or identity, or you can have losses in your birth family. For instance, I met my husband through astrology because it's something we both participate in creating. So the family I have with him through marriage represents my value of spiritual seeking as we connect in this endeavour. I don't glorify birth family, or any family for family's sake for that matter. The 2nd house teaches you, that things that support you are only as good as they are useful. Your family should be useful to you, that is the principle behind it. Your family should support your self worth, and if it doesn't, you are better off alone, or with strangers, as long as they believe in you too.

And this is the situation you encounter when Rahu is somehow challenged in the horoscope. A person that stands up for their self worth unconditionally even if that means being alone. A person that values their time and themselves because they want the time to be quality time. A person that believes in themselves and doesn't need anyone who doesn't believe in them.

Now how is that relevant to Ketu in the 8th? Well, if you don't believe in yourself, you end up clinging even to the worst partner. You can be the kind of person that wants to be joined at the hip, can't stand being alone. This invites disrespect and abusive relationships, because quite frankly these people agree to them.

Sometimes, sadly, it is circumstantial. We are born into a certain family and we only have that much at our disposal. Until we are old enough to make a life for ourselves and move out, we can only do that much. In this case, a healthy Ketu here will isolate from unhealthy birth family as much as possible.

This Ketu doesn't say you can't have a relationship. It says that you will have that support if you believe in yourself enough to know you're worthy of having one. I waited 30 years to get married and my husband was also my first serious "boyfriend". But that only happened because I believed in myself enough to change my life to have that relationship.

The Nodes rule things foreign, so you may end up with a partner of a different cultural background. They also rule mental and emotional problems, so you may end up with partners with psychological complexities. But you need to look at a lot of aspects in your chart to find out in detail how that works for you.

Did a more heartfelt piece today. The shadow figure on the left is named Quyn, who is the "parent" of my sona, Astro. Originally I created Quyn as this embodiment of how I feel whenever I have a breakdown. But then, once Astro (a rejected name for myself) came along, I changed as well. I started drawing myself in a way that let me be happy with my body and my representation. So, in a poetic sense, I decided on the idea of having Quyn being this guardian for Astro. Their parent, their friend, their dad. This made them slowly go from a gruff and uncaring exterior to a caring and light-hearted person. It's nice, because it shows me that I'm not alone in my transition. "Nova" still new. They don't know what this or that is, they're still learning. But I know. I can guide them. I can help him grow enough until I can tell everyone in my life who I am. Until I have the strength to wear trans flags in public. Until I have the courage to do so. And I will happily guide Nova to be my deadname's replacement.

🛸 Venus in the 8th house might like to keep their art or source of income hidden or a secret. They might feel like art is something private and intimate. Rappers with this placement might always have the skimask on (no face no case) and painters with this might have a separate anonymous account for their paintings that nobody knows is theirs.

🛸 Asteroid Fan(151590) in the 12th or 8th house or in a scorpio or pisces degree gives a lot of secret fans.

🛸 Moon trine Venus in a mans chart makes him very comfortable with his feminine side. Often very well liked and sought after among women where they live. Men with this placement dont even have to be attractive they will still bag the baddest.

🛸 Mercury in Scorpio, Mercury/Pluto people are the kind of people to see two shady people walking towards them and in 2 seconds figure out what to say to not be robbed. They know how to deal with shady people.

🛸 Fixed star Unukalhai (22° Scorpio) shows success followed by fall. So if you have this one prominent never get to cocky when you reach success. It makes me think of the saying ”Be kind to the people you meet on your way up because you will need them on your way down.”

🛸 Look at my career asteroids post HERE and look if you have any of those asteroid conjunct especially North Node or MC. Megan Fox for example have asteroid Actor(12238) conjunct her North Node.

🛸 Eros(433) Square Psyche(16) in synastry might meet under the most inappropriate circumstances. Bumping into eachother when you cant talk like when one of you are with a parent or with a partner. Eros(433) conjunct Psyche(16) on the other hand will bump into eachother at the exact right time and place.

🛸 Abundantia(151)- (Abundance) literally means ”a large quantity of something” so check where yours is. Ive seen this in the 8th house of a lot of nepo babies.

🛸 Erato(62) means 'the awakener of desire' which is why she is so common in the charts of models and celebrities. People with this asteroid prominent are also experts at making themselves even more desireable to the public. Marilyn Monroe have this conjunct Mars in the 8th house and she was said to cut down a bit of her heel to get the wiggle walk, keep her facial hair/peach fuzz so that it reflected the light and made her more glowing. She was an expert awaking desire.

🛸 Having a lot of Neptune conjunctions in a chart especially to Sun, ASC, or MC is going outside and NOBODY notices you and the next day you go outside and EVERYONE stares. You will either be invisible or look like a celebrity depending on the day and your mood. almost never anything inbetween.

🛸 The worst year of my life was the year I had Moon conjunct Saturn in the Solar Return Chart. I swear I was put through HELL that year and it was especially women giving me a hard time.

🛸 Jay Z having his 7th house ruler conjunct Venus makes so much sense. He is considered extremely lucky. His chart ruler being neptune adds to this. Being with Beyonce seems so unreachable. I often see memes like ”If Jay Z was able to get Beyonce I shouldnt be afraid to ask my crush out” or other stuff to point out Jay Z should be lucky. With strong Venus energy to the 7th house you will get the one ”everyone wants” easily.

🛸 When I have both 7th and 8th house synastry with a person Ive noticed that only they are allowed to fight with me. Nobody else is. We can despise eachother but when they see me in trouble they will protect me over the other person.

🛸 Venus/Saturn, Venus 10th house & Capricorn Venus people are very aware of the social codes. Might be uncomfortable around people who dont ”act right”.

🛸 Scorpio and Pluto shows obsessive energy. Can shows what you are constantly thknking about without being aware of it. Scorpio Mars might be in constant competiton or constantly thinking about opps or revengeplans.

🛸 Ive noticed the same with Lilith. A constant underlaying energy that you cant escape. Lilith 2nd house are always thinking about money or money constantly comes in the way in some way like an annoying mosquito. With Lilith 8th house everything turn into something sexual. A very annoying energy.

🛸 Venus/Saturn is starting to like your appeaeance in your 20s but then it feels pointless because you needed that hotness growing up.

🛸 Some nasty rumours were spread about me in 2013 so i just checked my solar return chart for that year and i had Mercury and Dejanira conjunct MC that year.

🛸 I think I had beef with like seriously 10 different men the year I had Mars in the 8th house in the solar return chart. And it was mostly because of me saying no to them.

🛸 North Node in the 8th house often experience some kind of extremes that most people dont. Homelessness, constant loss or poverty. They are also often on Life Path 8.

🛸 Not the town player where I live whos been with EVERY girl in my town having Fama(408) conjunct both Mars and asteroid Casanova(7328).🤦‍♀️

💧5th house stellium

I've noticed these natives don't like to change their routine for anybody. They can come off a little bit selfish because of it. They also like to tell everyone everything about themselves. If they've finished any college, o you will know. There also really into working out, looking good, smelling fresh and love to be noticed, but don't like saying that. They are also very curious about things only they like, if they think what you're talking about is boring to them, they will let you know.

💧 Aphrodite and Saturn in the 1st house

This can be a very complicated placement. In one way the native is considered a beautiful individual, but they themselves cannot see it that way. The glowup will come later in life and the native will have some complications with their skin, weight etc. But it will pass!

💧 Mercury in Aquarius

These people are known to be book worms and love to learn, constitley. But they do have this tick about them where they always think they know the best.

💧 Gemini Moon

They're so fucking funny without even trying, I swear. If you ever want to hear something chaotic, call a Gemini moon. They are the feral club rats and can befriend anyone. But at the same time they maybe have 1 or 2 people they really open up to and tell them how they really feel. I feel like they can be even more detached than Libra and Aquarius moons. They can also be prone to sleeping with someone and than regreating it the next day.

This can mean a very turbulent family life. A very love-hate relationship with their mother. They maybe didn't grow up with the mother and than reconnected with her later in life. The mother can become very ill later down the line and it falls on their lap, making them have a symbiotic house life. The native takes cares and adores the mother, but the mother also becomes a burden to deal with. These people also have a very strict way at looking at family life, children. They don't relate to people wanting a white picked fance and 4 kids running around the yard. Try to understand these people, they really have a soft spot. .but don't be too aggressive with your questions.

I think what they all have in common is they're really big pleasers in the bedroom. Quite dominant and right to the point. I've never met a 12th house stellium person who wasn't the sweetest person ever. They are so down to earth and try to understand all. They are the shoulder to cry on, for sure.

They love tattoos, standing out, having piercings, having some bold jewelry piece. Having some sort of style everybody wants, but can't recreate. But they deal with some much self doubt at the beginning of their journey. Since their South node is in Aquarius, they are prone to go back to their humanitarian ways, people pleasing etc. It's also tough in relationships, since they feel the need for independence and shinning on their own, but also want to understand their partner and help them. I would recommend them to shift your priorities to bettering yourself, career etc, not other people. It's your time to shine and you deserve it, more than anything!

They are prone to join the army and actually are really good at it. I mean this this is house of routines and discipline after all.

These people are something, let me tell you that. A Sag Moon is prone to work in other cities or countries. Their mind is very sharp and clean about what they want. I've noticed they can be big loners in their free time. Like they live to be the head of the party, cracking jokes and doing their thing, but in their house they are very reserved and quite. They need to recharge for the day, that's for sure.

A/N: in my feels big time atm. finally came out to my parents about being trans and i’m currently not allowed to enter my parents house and my mother is not talking to me. it sucks, but my friends and partner have been so supportive and loving through it all <3

so yeah, anyway. have this i guess.

"Ye sure about this, lad?" Soap asks, giving you look of concern, eyes meeting yours in the mirror reflection - electric shaver ready and waiting in his hand. You sit in front of the bathroom sink in the 141’s private en suite, one of your spare towels draped across your shoulders.

It had been almost a week since your breakdown in Price's office, the team embracing you with open arms and assuring you throughout your entire journey that you're still part of the family - welcoming their newest brother to the team.

“It’s a buzz cut, Soap. You can’t fuck up a buzz cut.” He chuckles quietly, eyes darting down to the shaver in his hand and finally turning it on. The peaceful silence is broken through with the abrasive buzzing that emits from behind you, stomach starting to flutter excitedly.

“Should be easier than a mo.” he responds with a shrug, before flashing a mischievous smile your way and diving straight in to your hair with the buzzing device.

Staring back at your reflection was a breath of fresh hair. Gone was the long wispy strands that framed your face so femininely, instead replaced with the blunt edges of your sharp and freshly buzzed hair.

Water drips down your body, the bathroom filled with warm steam as you wipe away the droplets falling from your body with a fresh, fluffy towel. You had finally finished washing all the small prickly hairs that had stuck to your neck and chest during your amateur styling session with Soap.

You run a hand over your head, the feeling so foreign, yet so comforting.

You finally felt like you.

You grin widely at your reflection, the texture of your buzzed head feeling like a strange combination of astro turf and carpet.

Not wanting to hog the bathroom for much longer, you quickly resume drying your wet body and dressing in to your clothes. Your teammates wait eagerly in the shared 141 quarters, sitting on their respective bunks and chattering amongst themselves.

When you emerge, all heads dart your way, Soap nodding at you in approval and Gaz giving you a wide smile and a thumbs up.

“Suits you” Ghost speaks up, arms crossed over his chest. Not much emotion is given away, his casual balaclava that he wears around base hiding anything that shows on his face, but there’s the sound of a small smile gracing his lips in the way he speaks.

“What if I fuck it up? Has anyone ever died from needles?” Gaz shakes his head at you, chuckling lowly in amusement.

“You watched how the doctor administrated your first shot. Just do the same.” He’s met with nothing but a blank stare from you.

“Do you need me to do it for you?” He asks, a fond smile over his lips, dark eyes trained on your overly worried face.

You nod meekly.

And so- like the good friend he is - Gaz helps to administer your testosterone shot, laughing at you quietly as you continue to make a scene while he tries to inject the needle.

“A right sook you are. I’ve seen you take bullets, yet you can’t handle a needle?” He teases

“There’ll be a needle in your left eye if you keep that attitude up”.

From that day on, Gaz meets you in the 141 quarters, the same time every week to help you with your T-shots, completely unbothered by the task he has now taken on.

He watches as you slowly transform over the weeks. Small, but subtle differences that makes your eyes sparkle and smile wider each time your shot is administered

He’s honoured that you feel safe enough to allow him in to such an intrusive practice, never letting anything hinder his time spent with you when he lends you a helping hand.

“You need to change your voicemail” Ghost grumbles, walking in to the rec room where you and other two sergeants are currently sat, a game of uno half finished and discarded atop the coffee table in front of the couch you, Soap and Gaz are huddled together on. The three of you had gotten too distracted by an animal documentary to continue playing.

You look down at your phone, realising that you did indeed have a missed call from the Lieutenant.

“Sorry I missed your call, got too invested in this” you respond absentmindedly, eyes returning back to the television. “Why do I need to change my voicemail?” you ask quizzically.

“Doesn’t sound like you”.

You hadn’t realised just how much your voice had changed over the months as you continued your hormone treatment. Listening back to your voice prior your weekly injections, you can’t help but beam with pride.

The four of you have a good laugh, looking back through videos of your old self, admiring the changes in your appearance and the deepening of your vocal chords.

Ghost watches in amusement from the side, simply content to watch as you continue to bloom and flourish right before his very eyes.

He’d never admit it, but he was hesitant upon his initial discovery, unsure of how to proceed with your preferred identity. Seeing you now though? He laughs.

It was ridiculous that it was ever a concern to him in the first place.

“Your leave has been approved.”

Price stares at you, a twinkle of encouragement in his eyes as he breaks the news to you, biting back a grin that threatens to spread across his lips.

Almost a full year has passed, a year full of change and rigorous saving.

The time has finally come.

You were finally going to rid the most vital part of your body that would complete your transformation - the main thing holding you back from finally presenting the way you want to - from feeling truly like yourself.

There’s only so much a binder can do, the compression doing little to improve your dysphoria when your breasts were flattened and instead replaced with an overwhelming tiredness during training. Your body was over exerted - unable to cope with the intensity of the military’s strenuous training. It left you breathless and gasping for breath after each session, forcing you to revert back to sports bras.

You exhale shakily, fighting back the tears that burn behind your eyes.

Price stands up and rounds his desk, placing a firm and comforting hand on your shoulder from where he stands behind you.

“Congratulations, soldier.”

Tears fall from your eyes. Unlike the ones almost exactly a year ago in this very room, they’re paired with a bright smile, joyous laughter echoing off the walls instead of harrowing sobs and slamming fists.

Price is engulfed by your wide embrace, arms wrapping tightly around him as you cry. It takes him off guard, causing him to stumble backwards, a large arm moving to your back as he stables the two of you against your weight when you launch yourself at him.

He’s there when you check yourself in to the hospital, giving him a goofy grin in your large hospital gown. You wave him goodbye like an overexcited child as the nurses wheel you away to the surgery room.

He knows this won’t be an easy recovery for you, but all he can feel is pride and excitement for you.

You’re a tough cookie. You’ll manage just fine.

He feels his heart thud against his chest, sending you one last grin as you finally disappear in to the surgery room.

He’s no stranger to the feeling that flutters in his stomach - he had gone through the same experience with Gaz. sighing, he turns on his heel and returns to the waiting room, allowing him the solitude to ponder how he’ll go forward with these emotions.

He feels like a father, sending his son off to attend his first day of school. There’s a blooming pride in his chest, but also a tinge of worry.

Will the surgery be okay? Will you continue to flourish even after your transition is complete? What if you decide this is something you no lo get want?

He shakes his head. You’re a grown adult- capable of making your own decisions. He has step back and allow you to make those steps.

Weeks after the New Years party, everyone's spirits have died down. The decorations had gone back into the supply closets and the base was business as usual. You hung up your gear and were ready to return to the barracks after a week long, sleepless mission. You felt so drained that you didn't even notice the young recruits following you. It wasn't until their snickering grew louder that you turned to face them.

You whirled around with a pissed look on your face, bags under your eyes from the long days and nights you had endured. You were not in the mood for games.

"Whatcha lookin' at, Y/N Price?" one of them said impolitely.

You sized the group up. There were three of them, young and green. They obviously haven't been trained enough to have developed even the slightest bit of respect for other soldiers, especially those higher ranked than them. You didn't pull rank often, mostly because you only outranked the privates and specialists, but you were too exhausted to be nice to them at this point.

"You three are out past curfew," You said sternly.

Another one of them fired back quickly, "Then I'd say you are too. Or do you get special treatment for being the captain's kid?"

Captains kid.

The title put you off and you glared at the recruits. How did they even know that? Most people assumed your last name was a coincidence. this base was so big that most people didn't even know your father, a captain, let alone you to put two and two together.

You decided to hold your ground and not show that the comment affected you.

"Curfew only applies to recruits."

They begin the circle you like a predator does its prey.

"It must be nice having it easy..."

"You must've climbed the ranks twice as fast as everyone else."

"I wonder how much time off you get."

The young men continue to slander you, their remarks getting worse by the minute. You contemplate running, but you don't want to show weakness. Tears rush to your eyes anyway.

"You're kinda pretty... but one wipe and its all gone," One gibes

"For sure, I assume daddy's money buys it all."

"Mhm... all that makeup, maybe some Botox too if she's that kinda girl"

They talk about you as if you're not even there anymore. Suddenly, one reaches out his hand to grasp a strand of your hair. You jerk away and let out a scream fueled by fear, weakness and exhaustion. You crumple to the ground in tears, no longer caring who sees. Their comments didn't even hurt you that bad, you're just so exhausted that your emotions get the better of you. At least that's what you tell yourself.

The men are mortified to see you in this deranged state and make a quick getaway. Leaving you alone in the hall between the gear lockers and the showers late at night. as if things couldn't get any worse, you feel the presence of someone standing above you.

You pick your head up from your hands and open your eyes to see who it could be. You are incredibly embarrassed when you see who it is.

"Oh, h-hi Ghost," you say, springing to your feet and quickly pawing at your eyes to wipe the tears away. It obviously doesn't work because he still looks at you with pity on his features. Which were only covered by a black surgical mask, allowing you to see his slightly outgrown hair and his ears for the first time. His hair looked damp, towel dried, with said towel slung over one of his broad shoulders.

"Y/N?" he says your name in a concerned voice.

You didn't know how to explain yourself, so you just shifted back and forth on your feet nervously until he spoke again.

"Why are you crying?" he asks bluntly.

"I- well..."

he raises an eyebrow

You sigh, "Some recruits were making fun of me..." you said in a soft, defeated voice.

"Come again?"

"Some recruits were making fun of me," you said slightly louder, but more embarrassed.

He furrows his eyebrows, you feel like melting from embarrassment.

"About what?"

"My dad."

"Your dad?" He says questioningly.

"Yes... my father."

"Such fuckin pricks," he says angrily. "And I assume they think your getting special treatment or some shit?"

"Mhm," You look at your feet to avoid his gaze.

he purses his lips, "Come here, I'm gonna walk you to your room. You deserve rest."

You silently comply, walking next to him and getting sleepily drunk off the scent of his body wash.

The next morning, I opted to wake up earlier than most to use the gym before it got crowded. I had forgotten about the recruits being required to be at training this early, which worked to my advantage. A group of four recruits walked towards the training facilities, three of them telling the fourth about their antics the night before.

"Yeah man, she was crying and everything, it was so crazy."

"You should'a seen how sad she was that we outed her for being treated better."

"Mhm, she probably didn't have to go through basic like us. Weak ass bitch."

I listen in and grow more infuriated with each one that talks.

"Recruits!" I bark.

They turn around and suddenly slink back with fear when they see me, as most do.

"Who are you talking about?"

"Uhm... no one sir... just a girl back home."

"Bullshit, you talked about her not going through basic like the rest of you. I know who your talking about, and I can assure you she did."

"S-sorry lieutenant, please don't report us or anything," one of them says sheepishly.

"Report you? you'll be lucky if reporting you is the only thing I do."

"No sir, please! y-you don't understand!" one of them pleads.

"Yeah! the only reason we did it is to get her attention... we just wanted the pretty sergeant to notice us."

He doesn't get another chance to defend himself, my fist connects with his face before I even realize what i'm doing. He stumbles back while clutching his jaw and slams into the wall, doubling over in pain. His buddies stand there in fear, wincing and waiting for me to deliver their punishments.

"She's mine, got that?"

With that, I walk off towards the gym.

Finding Dispositors in Your Vedic Chart

Will use my Chart to show you.

This is a list of my Dasha periods. Planetary rulerships are marked on the left.

As per the Vedic Theory, every Dasha period gives results relative to the Nakshatra Dispositor First. As a result, no planetary Dasha will be the same, because everyone has a different dispositor.

For example, my Saturn is in Dhanishta Nakshatra. So the dispositor of any Saturn period I have will be Mars. My Ketu is in Mrigashira Nakshatra, so any Ketu period will be disposed by Mars too. My Mercury is in Anuradha, so it's disposed for by Saturn, and any Mercury period will give results of Saturn. My Venus is in Mula, so any Venus period is disposed for by Ketu.

As you can see from that list, I have every single Dasha period disposed for by a malefic until I turn 70, because most of the planets in my chart are in malefic Nakshatras. I only get a reprieve during Sun and Jupiter dashas, as they are ruled by Jupiter and Moon respectively.

So if you have a lot of planets in malefic Nakshatras (for me that's 7/10 primary placements), you will just have to endure more energetically. You won't have room for self indulgence, as this incarnation prioritises energetic efficiency.

These are things that I've observed from people with different placements in their natal chart. Some of these things might or might not resonate with some people, and that's fine. A lot of these observations are subjective, and they are not meant to be taken too seriously. But anyways, enjoy!

Scorpio mercuries and capricorn mercuries, are very investigative. They love getting information out of people and asking questions, especially scorpio mercury. From my experience, they are definitely the type to be into conspiracy theory, and they make amazing private investigators, as they love finding top-secret, underground information. However, I will say that this trait can occasionally come off as creepy or nosy, but I've noticed that that's not always their intention, it's merely just them being curious.

Idk if this normal but usually I can feel people's mars sign energy. If their energy is soft and passive, even if they're a leo or aries sun, they usually turn out to be a water mars. If I find someone that is very strong about their opinion and verbally loud, they usually turn out to be a fire mars lol. Air and Earth mars are a little harder for me to identify though.

Many people I know with Earth mars are amazing at manifesting things into their life. Earth=material things, Mars=action, thus making them really good at bringing and executing things into the material world (especially capricorn mars, HOLY SHIT.)

Cancer mars is a pretty accurate combination of both scorpio mars and pisces mars. When you first encounter them, they can be very protective of themselves and may conceal information about themselves until they feel like you are safe and you cannot hurt them, and THEN they are super openly affectionate!! These are the options

Package 1.

I will analize your aphrodite or Lilith placement. Read that again, I will only analyze one placement. The type of sensuality your placement offers and how to work with it, or you can ask two questions about it.

Package 2.

I would clasify not analyze your Lilith and Aphrodite, and see which archetype (the mother, the maiden, the queen, the huntress, the sage, the mystic, and the lover) they embody, and how they can work together.

Package 3.

What energy you need to work or heal with your Lilith placement to feel more confident. You can ask two questions.
