The Only Spell We Need Is Time by Dragonborn_Eldenlord will be on Wattpad and AO3 once I've finished editing the first chapter.

It's going to be about a trans Original Male Character/ Severous Snape. OC is the newest professor at the school and basically does that thing where the extrovert adopts the introvert. Lol.

He also has a Kneazle (Ghost) as a familiar and a Crow (Ruby Anne) for delivering messages instead of an owl.

Summary :

Arthur Bledsoe has gone to a magic school like most witches and wizards, but instead of Hogwarts he'd gone to the school in the grand forests between America and Canada.

Not long after graduation, he became an Auror. After four years he gets offered a job; Herbology Professor. He's beyond thrilled, he's always wanted to go to Scotland anyway and now it's also intertwined with magic.

He accepts and becomes the new Professor, and soon begins to become infatuated with the grumpy, quiet, and short tempered Slytherin, Professor Snape, much to everyones surprise.

What will come of such a friendship? Will Bledsoe’s warmth and typical Hufflepuff kindness melt Snape’s heart at long last? Or will Snape’s coldness hurt Bledsoe?

Only time will tell…

in finnish, the '@' symbol is sometimes referred to as 'kissanhnta' [cat's tail] or 'miau', 'miau merkki' [meow marks]. in the pokemon universe, i thought it might be cute if the '@' symbol were called 'the mew' or 'mew symbol'

considering both bill and professor oak would know about mew, i imagined a conversation in which this term was coined in which professor oak tries (and finally succeeds) at sending his first email.

the fact that shakespeare was a playwright is sometimes so funny to me. just the concept of the "greatest writer of the English language" being a random 450-year-old entertainer, a 16th cent pop cultural sensation (thanks in large part to puns & dirty jokes & verbiage & a long-running appeal to commoners). and his work was made to be watched not read, but in the classroom teachers just hand us his scripts and say "that's literature"

just...imagine it's 2450 A.D. and English Lit students are regularly going into 100k debt writing postdoc theses on The Simpsons screenplays. the original animation hasn't even been preserved, it's literally just scripts and the occasional SDH subtitles.txt. they've been republished more times than the Bible
